RREAAAGHHHH SO EXCITED TO BE DONE WITH THIS!!!!! it took me forevarrrr but i soldiered through as an act of love. now excuse me. yap time

OKAY SO the concept behind this was originally specific fashion subcultures for everyone!l ike noct emo ignis dark academia etc. but then decided i didnt want to pigeonhole it all and just freestyled outfits i thought would look nice on everyone

noct - i do think noct would still be emo-ish but also opt for comfy baggy stuff a lot. something you could just fall asleep in on the spot. note the details of bass pro shop shirt (of course) XV necklace, little moon + stars accents, carbuncle + fish keychains. i also wanted his metal band logo shirt to spell LUCIS but i forgor some letters but its not very readable anyways

ignis - ignit ooohghh ignos ignaurs. sorry i made him serve so much cunt it will happen again. i drew him first cause that kind of inspired this whole thing i love him so bad if i didnt draw it id explode. not much detail to note except his collar pins are like his double blade thingies

luna - lunaaa the concept was “clean girl aesthetic” idk if that happened but im actually really happy with how it came out! might be my favorite of the bunch just because she looks so pretty and happy. your honor she should have been able to just be a normal girl and just. chill

prompto - prompotoooo i had trouble picking his vibe!!! my first thought was techwear?? because weeheeeehee he loves tech and well... you know... but then i realized i didnt really like the look of anything i saw + it was so bulky and dark and serious for him! ending up going with some more youthful and baggy. i was considering something more loud and colorful but ended up not going with it. i feel like in canon he'd be too nervous to have such a flashy fit and would want to just look "cool" to fit in with the boys lol. itty bitty details here - chocobo keychain, pompompurin and bi miku buttons, and his lanyard is kings knight themed! i also thought it was funny to write LUCIS on his shirt like you know those shirts that just say BROOKLYN or TOKYO or SAN FRANCISCO and thats it. thats what its like

gladio - okay i know this is going to sound like a lie but im not horny for gladio like at all, hes my least favorite, i think he's just alright. but also i KNOW in my heart of hearts that he would LOVE being a leather daddy and so i had to make it happen. main detail to note here is that his tank top has the motifs of a cup noodle! i didnt know what else to add cause you know.. hes the cup noodle guy.. but also i didnt want it to be so in your face about it with a big as logo so kept it subtle!

(side note the leather daddy gave me an idea for a post where its like noct and prom go to a gay bar all nervous but then they run into gladio and its like "p: GLADIO YOURE GAY?" "n: nevermind that PLEASE dont tell ignis we snuck out" and then ignis walks up and theyre all like WHAT THE FUCK!!!! caption would be "the gang finds out theyre all bisexual." probably wont draw it but i think its very funny lol)

iris - iris my sweetheart.... definitely leaned into the scene vibes here and also that one image of the blonde emo anime girl. details here - of course the moogle big ass backpack and keychain (can you tell i love keychains), but also her buttons are an iris (the flower) and also a crown with hearts (haha symbolism)

anyways oh god i didnt mean to write an essay down here. usually i keep this in the tags but this time i just had Too Much To Say. can you tell i put a lot of thought and love into this . anwyays. *walks off into the sunset and fuckig dies*

ok this isnt my normal art stuff but every once in a while i come across a weird little thing that i rlly feel like sharing with someone so im gonna put it here :) im a big fan of historical space stuff, in case you havent noticed (i dont think anyone has since i havent posted abt it before) so i sometimes go on little rabbitholes on random stuff and heres a little thing i found! so like, if you’re an astronaut, in a suit on EVA, you can’t really bring stuff with you. the gloves are too bulky to use fine stuff like electronics so like... what do you do if you need to remember something?

you use something like this! this is an astronaut cuff checklist! its a little spiralbound notebook with big ol tabs for manipulating with your gloves that has guides on procedures that are complicated and you’re bound to forget. this photo is of gene cernan from apollo 17 specifically, but these are still used today on the iss! cos there really isn’t a better option! ive seen a prototype for a digital one (which is kinda a big deal since normal lcd screens dont work in vacuums!), so until then we’re just gonna keep using lil notebooks with all your directions written on them :)

as a side note; for the apollo ones specifically, they were made by the backup crews for each mission as a guide for the main crew. they were pretty dry and mainly just step-by-step instructions on how to deploy surface equipment and such. they werent ONLY that though! they had some extra little tidbits of stuff in them for the crew while they were out there. specifically, the handbooks on apollo 12! which, alongside all the tutorials also had little sketches of dogs on the moon!

which is adorable!!! i love that!!! theyre so cute, i might draw something inspired by them cos god they give off such a cute little vibe. the handbooks also had some full-page photos of topless women which like ??? ok??? sure i guess. idk i dont really know what to think about those. anyway, these notes are so cool. i love looking at all them, i love poring over them and seeing all the technical notes (and dogs!).

alright thats all of this bit. ill hopefully go back to posting furry art soon, i have a rlly cool animated gif im trying to make and a few other ideas which im excited to put together. bye!

Wren is pretty dark as a leader, hes battle worn and knows how to win, knows how to do whatever it takes to win, and that’s made him pretty dark and cold. he loves his team though, he may not show it, but the reason they work so well as a unit is bc of the brotherly love

Locket kind of fills that void in terms of being the warmer and appreciative leader. I think peacemaker is a very appropriate title for him bc Wren can knock heads with others and hes there to calm things over and put them back on track, which is what makes them so effective

Blanks the medic is aggressive in two ways. in fighting and in medicine. he’s more than willing to fight these battles but he wants to keep his brothers safe and is a big advocate for kind of clone rights? like they’re not disposable

Kicks the pilot is the wild one, no doubt about that. he likes to have fun, he likes to do crazy things, and he is pretty good at convincing his brothers to join in. forever the instigator

Feedback, goes by FB for short, or just any shortened version of his name. he is an honest to god himbo, he is overflowing with respect and loyalty, wears his emotions outwardly more than any of the team, and is built and bulky

Monk the demolitions expert is by far the smartest out of the crew, and really spends most of that intelligence on witty expressions and sarcastic remarks. not so much so that hes actively challenging authority or anything but if he has an opinion, it’s going to get heard

Bishop the sniper is the typically reserved, quiet type. but he’s got a quiet sense of loyalty that burns brighter than anyone else’s and the skill to back it up. tactically? you can’t get better than him. if he says something will work, it will, he says it won’t, it won’t. and in that sense, both the commander and LT rely on him heavily

Chap the gentle giant is simply that. he gets written off as a stupid brute but he’s not stupid. he’s straight and to the point when it comes to getting things done, he’s a sucker for kids and animals, and can smash a droid into a wall without second thought but simultaneously could manage to not hurt a fly

and I have general Jedi headcannons as well but idk about them yet :(

Why Did I Follow Them?: I was so nervous to follow her beautiful and oh-so-very-necessary-for-insanity-and-order lawcow [ @dakctadude​ ] on jessica [ @krupnick​ ] bc … i’m gross. i’m unfiltered. she is rated G and magnificent in writing and such a sweet person. i felt so intimidated and nervous but omg i wanted to rp with blue so much?? BC WOW WHAT A LEGEND?? people who take severely underrated characters, rp them and put so much life into them deserve the highest ranking of honors possible, and blue did just that with Dakota. I’ve never even heard of the cartoon Dakota’s from, but Blue went and made this amazing blog for this awesome character I feel so much love for now because of her. I have so much respect for her. Dakota is such a necessity for Toon Roleplay, man. he keeps order, he looks after everyone and he is such a lovable big blue moo that everyone can feel safe around – except evil doers, which run wild on this blog lol. but… man. talk about an awesome character.I think I eventually decided to go for it and slammed follow bc yeah, I wanted to rp with that beautiful blue moo!! I was already having my little fantasies of Jess being good pals with Dakota and them having this unshakable bond together bc he is a genuine man. How about I initiate our first thread for Jess approaching Dakota and asking him for guidance against SEXUAL HARASSMENT. THAT’S A GOOD ICE BREAKER RIGHT.  what a dingus i was. i swear it was innocent, i was just like ‘cool i can set up a first thread for us and also give way for blue to connect another muse of hers to KMs so they can have potential future threads together!’. THAT’S THE BEST I HAD. MY GOD DO NOT TRUST ME WITH G-RATED BLOGS LMAO.But surprisingly, Blue stuck around after that. Not a day goes by where I’m not thankful for Jess having her blue law moo in her life, and for Blue being so cool with me and my awkward butt that she sticks around; even when I’m on this awful account.I follow Blue everywhere because I just love her and her muses that much, and I look forwards to making new connections with hers and mine.

Do I Ship Our Muses?: Platonically all the way across the boards! Jess & Dakota are so important. Their friendship is just so comforting lmao. You have this big bulky cow looking after this non-threatening sultry woman and together they are just.. SO TIGHT. Jess ended up thinking of Dakota as her last straw before she completely snaps and gives in to bad morality choices (LIKE IDK MURDER). She just will take him by the arm and go: “I feel like doing something very awful and very illegal, but I won’t, that’s why I came to you: will you help me take care of this thing”and murder impulse control aside, they’re just cozy buddies. Jessica’s filming all the country concerts she takes part in and brings those recordings home to Dakota for him to watch. Whenever he’s free, she’s going to kidnap him and surprise him by taking him to a concert featuring one of his favorite bands, with backstage pass and everything. This is the least she can do for him for being such an awesome guy. Jess & Duke? A FRIENDSHIP I NEVER KNEW I WAS MISSING. WOW. They’re gonna be like siblings on that relatability front, ain’t they? What I Think About The Mun: RED LOVES BLUE. Blue is such a sweetheart, oh my gosh. She is so, so sweet. She is so chill, she is so cool and I am just so thankful she’s around even on this account. She is just like.. I don’t know how to explain it. It’s like hanging out with someone who is like the essence of a breezy spring day? It’s just so easy to co-exist with her and relax. She’s someone I think who can sit with you in comfortable silence and just chatter the day away idly with, giggling and cracking jokes with, and talking about cartoons and depth of them. She’s so relaxing!And my god, you wanna talk about art? Blue is an amazing artist. She’s worked so hard for her style and you can tell every time she posts a piece; it has so much love put into it and so much genuine emotion. The eyes, the body language and the closeness of the characters or the intimidation of the interaction – you feel it, without a doubt. I am so honored to know this amazing artist who is such a hard worker. She says she doesn’t have the patience to be an animator, but what little she’s done? It’s good. It’s really fricken good. If anyone in this world was to inherit the rights to The Dakota Dude and Duke L’Orange, Blue is the perfect choice because she is always doing their justice; not just in writing (but dear god the writing – please check out her blogs @dukelcrange & @dakctadude, and she’s even recently picked up @falcongravcs ! she does a really cute @rcadrunner, too. dfgksdfg - ), but in terms of artistic justice. You’re looking at her art and you are seeing them, in honest to Goodness truth, you are seeing those characters she plays and you see so much heart in them. Her drawings are so warm and always make me happy whenever she posts them. I’m so proud of her.

Overall Opinion: red loves blue ok. red loves blue and will die for blue.
