Sorry you weren’t selected! But that’s interesting, I didn’t know they asked for social media accounts (I don’t live in the area so I didn’t even click on the link lol) but that is a bit weird. It also makes it seem like they were choosing certain people that are more “popular” in the fandom (for lack of a better word), could be a coincidence that they got selected but them asking for socials makes me think it’s not. I just hope some fans who have never gotten a chance to see them yet got chosen to attend too.

yeah you needed either insta or tiktok to sign up, but tbh i think it's probably just about getting data and maybe fanbase demographics and things idk. i dont want to get all conspiracy theory on it, but i think there is a world where people who have bigger followings and/or post about bas a lot did get selected bc that just obviously makes sense from a marketing pov if the aim of the event is to create hype. it is still difficult to say if is wasn't 100% a random draw though bc those are also the people who are gonna post about getting in lol.

from what ive seen the texts were also sent out after they said that everyone had been contacted (classic), so i think that probably made it look like way less people got in than actually did
