I love words so much I love hearing how phrases sound when they’re translated through a different language
#let’s believe the process!!#idk if that’s how it’s said in your lanagauge#but it’s not quite right for English#but is also not Wrong???#like yeah believe and trust can be the same word#and idk I just think it’s fun and interesting#like what phrases would I get ‘wrong’ if I learned a second language???#I already fuck up and play around with phrases in my first language#ugh I just love how many different ways of speaking there are#the different ways to express yourself#the many many languages and how some things just don’t translate between them#and with others they’re practically the same language#and like it’s fascinating at a biological level too#bc like what do you mean I’ll never be able to make this sound exactly right#because I didn’t grow up learning the vocal muscle memory????#thats so cool????#that entire populations can make noises that other populations can’t#anyway
