so I haven't touched arknights in like. about a year or so, but it sounds like Crownslayer is a gravel style opp? Which. idk back when I was playing Gravel was still an incredible unit for her ability to be dropped and just stall someone for a bit. and crownslayer having stun and evasion, as well as being able to provide evasion to other units, sounds like a similar style of insane??? idk why people are saying she's bad she sounds bonkers

(tho I might be wrong, like I said I've not touched the game since like Il Sira)

the problem is that people have developed a completely warped idea of what an executor specialist is supposed to look like because texas and yato are not actually good representatives of the subclass.

the game started with gravel and projekt red, and waai fu was added early in year 1. gravel is built to facetank damage with her massive shield and to this day she remains undefeated in that role. red meanwhile is more damage oriented, meant to chip away at medium-threat targets with her s1 or do a bit of crowd control with her s2. waai fu follows this philosophy of having some defensive utility on her s1 (an atk debuff) to let her 1v1 medium-damage priority targets and crowd control utility on s2 (inflicting silence). their damage was never crazy high, their use was in crowd control including plugging leaks, reducing incoming damage through methods like debuffs or just baiting attacks, and taking out priority targets like elite casters or guerilla heralds at a lower cost than throwing a whole dreadnought guard at it.

then phantom released around the first anniversary as the first 6* of the archetype and his skills cover every job that you would previously need separate specialists for. his s1 tanks physical damage, his s2 lets him quickly handle medium-threat targets, and his s3 has crowd control in a large area. phantom on release was genuinely the pinnacle of fast-redeploy specialists because he was all of the other fast-redeploys in one, and you could deploy him twice to boot. despite this he still left reason to use the others instead of him if you really needed a specific bit of utility, and gravel in particular made it so his s1 was rarely actually used because she was just better at it. I consider this a good thing from a game design perspective, but I also believe this created this idea that phantom is (was) the best executor because he has more damage than the other executors, instead of because he's 2-4 utility units in a trenchcoat. phantom is an executor that is two executors.

in year 2 kafka released and she stuck with this idea of chipping away at enemies and doing funny crowd control with her weird range and sleep debuff. in philosophy she's still exactly what executors were originally supposed to be, bringing a new angle to the concept that doesn't clash with what the others were doing. kafka is an executor that is an executor.

skip forward to year 4 and we get texas, who despite everything still retains the shadow of the original spirit of the subclass. she has silence utility, she has the ability to pick off targets, she has crowd control. but it's year 4 and she's a limited operator, so she also deals more damage than all previous executors combined could ever dream of and also hits air with her stuns because we introduced an enemy gimmick where you want anti-air stuns since we last made an executor. her s2 does more single target dps than surtr s3 or so i've been told. texas is really more like a high damage guard cosplaying as an executor.

then only half a year after texas they bring in yato who just straight up does not even have utility, all she does is infinite fucking damage and her crowd control is killing the crowd dead. she's not an executor in the original sense, she's some other thing, like how mountain is a brawler that is not a brawler. but because she and texas released so closely together and both do so much damage, people now think that an executor's job is to deal a lot of damage and that the utility on texas is a bonus instead of part of the original conceit.

and it's this warped idea of executors that crownslayer is being compared to. crownslayer is doing exactly what executors have been doing from the start, namely taking out medium-threat priority targets, reducing incoming damage, and providing crowd-control utility. she's an executor that is an executor, same as phantom, but where phantom combined the at the time existing executors into his kit crownslayer instead looks at the functionality that executors are meant to provide and approaches it from a different angle. obviously I haven't actually used her myself because she just released on CN but on paper she looks incredibly well designed for her job of being an executor

Phoenix's Family

I've stated before how I think it's interesting that in games with so many prevalent themes of family, Phoenix has no mention of having one, other than those who have adopted that kind of role like the Feys and Trucy. No whispers of parents or siblings when he got framed for murder or during any of his numerous trips to the hospital, not when he got disbarred or spent seven years likely in poverty.

Now, what could this mean? In my mind, either he's an orphan, which is a valid interpretation, or something happened that estranged him from them, likely before he got into college. Whatever it was, it was enough to traumatize him enough to never talk about them again.

We know how he reacts to trauma, especially ones that relate to his relationships. His whole deal is pushing down his memories and feelings until he almost forgets about them, or until they return to remind him of their existence. He refuses to talk about the things that hurt him and buries them so deeply that it's extremely hard to dig them back up.

We see this with Dahlia, the only person who would've known about her would've been Mia. And we see this with Mia herself, Phoenix walked in on her violently murdered body and he immediately represses his feelings to get her sister out of jail. When Edgeworth left his note and disappeared off of the face of the earth he refused to talk about him and attempted to do the same thing with him as he did with Dahlia.

So, who is to say that the only time this strategy of ignoring until it goes away and it doesn't bite him in the ass is how he dealt with his family? He never mentions them, he never thinks about them, and subconsciously he's always looking for people to help fill the void they left behind. Maybe he had a little sister which is why he seems to thrive when he has a silly girl sidekick.

To me, it would make sense if he was estranged from his family before or during college, as that could help explain why he's so desperate for someone to love him and extremely vulnerable to being manipulated. He focuses all his emotional energy on Dahlia and reuniting with Edgeworth because his own life is already incredibly destabilized and he's scrambling for some sense of control.

As for why his family estranged him, I don't actually have much of an idea, maybe they're homophobic and noticed that he's been sending letters to a boy over the course of years and that's just not very straight of him. There are all kinds of family issues that could cause such an overdramatic reaction though.

It seems more plausible with what we know about Phoenix that whatever happened with his family that it's bad enough that he goes no contact with them, rather than them getting killed off or giving him up for adoption bc you know he would do everything to find them if he wanted to. He lost his best friend from fourth grade and became a lawyer just to see him again, he definitely could be determined enough to find his birth parents if he wanted to. If they were dead, he's besties with multiple spirit mediums, he could say hi if he felt like it.

Anyway, that's all of my rambling for now and I could definitely have gotten things wrong, I am relatively new to AA and I really wouldn't consider myself an expert on the Lore lmao. In any case, I would love to hear other headcanons about his family, I think it's fun to think about lol. Maybe you have ideas about why Phoenix could've been estranged? idk I would love to talk about it, my asks are always open.

I guess I would call this banter. And like the other lines I think it's so witty LMAO. I don't think it's necessary to say who they're talking about, but I do want to say is that the thing that Bakugou withholds is telling you that you're not a freak.

WOWIE WELL YOU SEE that would probably be the above. a fic that takes place years after bnha is over in a world where bakugou actually died. deku after years of harrowing hero work, is on the verge of losing himself and bakugou whose spirit has followed him all this time, finds you, a spirit medium who can see him and the both of you work together to try and help save deku from himself.

it's sad because like, when i thought of this idea it would have been a deku x reader fic, but i think that, there would be enough emotional chemistry between bakugou and reader and, well, he's already dead so we know how that story would end. plus i would hate deku to be like.. runner up lmao.

but i would like to remain as true to canon as i can and hori said 'nah we're gonna fix this boy right up.' so probably not going to write it.

for angst that i have written there's this very experimental nier fic that. was pretty angsty for me LMAO.

Erika also asked this . But hm. I guess I can elaborate. When I say i start with a concept... I don't really see it as a plot thing. I mean shine on the sea it was really 'merman in a bathtub' which isn't... a plot I guess? But there are questions that could be asked like 'how did he get there? does he like it there? will he want to go home?' sort of things. It's about building around the concept.

Generally, when it comes to plot lines I try to not stick to hard to a very specific sequence of events like for & here i am alive, the main 'plot' is Reader's journey to achieving their dream of becoming a pro-hero. tho, i do have a kind of... outline of how I want that to go, it's not really set in stone LMAO. because sometimes.... things get outta hand when i write LMAO.

What does guidance look like?

Erik helps me on this journey. Since day one my training to become a better version of myself started. Karma clearing, understanding my role in this life, working out trauma and learning how to communicate with him are some of the things we've done together.

But for someone whose twin soul is dead, what should the relationship look like. Well it should look more like this in my opinion...

You aren't just sitting on the notion you have a twin soul who is dead or not on this dimension.

They want to talk to you and you work on many ways of communication. Not just one.

They appear in your dreams with important information, not just to frolic.

They act as a teacher to you or guide in that they tell you what you are doing wrong and give you ways to correct it in a loving meaningful way.

You have a strong desire to work out your karma and past lives and you do it. It's a long process.

You start learning about the spiritual world and spiritual growth. I recommend books by Dolores Cannon.

Learn dream work or meditation work. These are so helpful when you need clearing of negative energy from the day.

You may want to change your diet and have the desire to exercise.

Recognize these are things that take years to develop.

I'm currently on my 7th year and it's no picnic. Since having this blog I've had people who say I've been helpful but idk I feel maybe on the surface I've been helpful but I can't be sure the more serious matters are sinking in. This post is on serious matters I doubt people take into consideration while having a ts in spirit.

According to their attitudes it seems like having a ts in spirit to them is a novelty. It's not. It's more serious than that. If they aren't serious I can't see how my blog is helping if at all! People just think there's no work and if they are made aware they don't want to do it. Maybe it's fear but sometimes your only way out is through. Maybe that fear will lead you to truth if you let it.

If meaningful communication with your dead TS is a problem, why is it?

Tarot, signs, and 3rd party medium isn't meaningful communication imo. It's temporary. Telepathy and pendulum is the only way you can get to the point and to the source. If you need help I have an entry on that in my table of contents. Eventually you will need to learn protection and how to use a pendulum correctly.

For example if I'm just not able to take out my pendulum and alphabet book, I'd use my tarot to communicate with Erik. It's a great tool for when I'm just too tired as well. But I can't stress enough how much better communication is when you get actual words of your twin soul coming from your pendulum!

What your twin soul tells you is important. You must write it down or keep a log of it. This is why I have my blog. This blog was originally created to keep my thoughts and insights. Let's say she's super intrigued by spiritism because she's always had a big imagination and a sensitivity to otherworldly phenomena - dreams, visions, etc. (Btw: Her father didn't approve, being a ~man of science~, but at the same time he didn't take it too seriously - girls will be girls and all that.)

Even before her father's leaving, she feels a sense of dread, especially whenever he mentions the names of the expedition's ships, Erebus and Terror. Like she feels like something bad is going to happen. And once he's gone for a few months, the nightmares begin. IDK if she sees her father right away or if it takes her a while to realize that her visions are what's happening on his expedition? And maybe at the beginning they are 'just' dreams, she sees everything from an outsider's perspective, but later she gets literally sucked in, feels the pain of the people dying - or sees herself dying in their place? Sadly, the dreams/visions don't end until all the men are dead. 😧 Poor baby.

And I definitely want her to meet with Lady Jane! She's the only person she opens up to completely. Lady Jane refuses to believe that something awful has happened to her Sir John, but she's grasping at any and all straws at this point. Maybe Stanley's daughter offers to act as a medium during a séance, trying to contact the dead crew so they can give her some directions where the remains can be found?

Oh oh oh, another thought: Warning, this is sad! While watching the scene where we see Stanley's drawing, I always assumed his daughter is safe back home in Britain. But what if she actually died a few years ago? I hate this, but this would give Stanley even more motivation to just burn the whole thing down, cause there's nothing for him to come home to? 😢 So. What if he begins to see her ghost on the ship? Maybe it's the lead poisoning, maybe it's real, who knows. But the sadness and surreality of it are just adding to his extreme depression. Maybe her ghost is trying to help him/them, but the apparitions are too nebulous and he ends it all before he's able to decipher her message? (Or maybe it's not her ghost, but a projection of the real ‘her’ trying to contact him from far away. (lololol can’t believe I’m using ‘astral projection’ unironically.))

Idk, this is just me rambling, but I love the idea!

My spirits

Ok this is not actually a part of my path but hey the next part will be about my spirit guides, a little bit of context is ok.

As I said in the introduction, when I was a small bean I used to see them around, even in hospitals and places that aren't my house. I was hearing my name being called a lot from female/male voice when only my dad or mum were at home at it wasn't their voice, but they were like "imagination girl, don't worry".

With time I stopped seeing them but I've always felt kinda uncomfortable at home: I knew someone else was there and that they were staring at me, even at night.

As soon as I started practicing witchcraft seriously, I started seeing shadows moving around and with time, at least at my house, I started to see their real aspect.

At my house I keep the energy under control basically constantly, so I know when something is around and I can easily find them. When I'm out I don't do that so no dead people around that I can notice

I have various visitors sometimes, I had a little child who got to me (idk why) and a middle-aged woman, but they weren't supposed to be there so I asked to a medium to help me with "leading them to the other side", idk how to call it.

Then we have two pretty loud guys: Mark who is a German soldier, died not that far from my home during the Second World War because and he got killed by his comrades cause he didn't want to follow the orders anymore (I will get into the situation of my city during this time when I will talk about my spirit guides, but just as you know: at that time Germany invaded Italy and I'm in a border city, so we had German soldiers, Italian soldiers and Slovenian soldiers all fighting here who were trying to control or help the population, it depends on the faction).

He had been roaming around for quite a while in the fields and in my city, then he met my grandma and my mum and he liked them so he stayed with them. Now he is with me because I can interact with him and he doesn't want to leave, but except knocking on my closet doors when he wants to play chess he doesn't do anything, so I'm ok with him.

The next one is Davide, he was one of my dad's friend who died when he was in his 20s. He is basically following my dad since that. Davide actually made me really uncomfortable at the beginning because I was feeling this really angry energy in different places of my house and I couldn't banish it. After the first try he started becoming loud always when I was home alone: I was hearing footsteps, things were knocked off from the shelfs, washing machines have been made without me starting them and a lot of objects were going missing.

I was pretty confused because some of those things are a Loki's thing so we had some arguments about that, like:"I'M HERE WHY DO YOU KEEP KNOCKING OFF MY BOOKS AND STEALING MY HEARINGS, JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU NEED" "Baby girl I swear it's not me, it's a spirit"

And lol I wasn't completely believing him. Anyway I got tired of the situation so I grabbed my pendulum and in a very aggressive way I talked with him and then with my dad to have a confirmation. I didn't tell him that his dead friend was here with us but I asked how he was when he was alive, pretending that my dad already talked about him (he never did, still an open wound). Basically he was the type of guy who could steal your grandma and hide her under the sofa without you noticing, he loved throwing pranks and he was the LOUDEST person in the whole world. Yeah very much like his spirit.

Loki and he go pretty along together, they are making my life a little chaotic mess and even Mark, who is super quiet usually, now is going to the dark site.

I really love them tho, I always have something to laugh about when I'm not in the mood to do so and actually some of their pranks are good.

Interaction with them

Tbh I don't do anything in particular. I have an altar for the dead and here they have some glasses of water and a bowl with some dried food that I change once a week, when I do that for the Gods.

Sometimes they do want to interact more: with Mark I use to play chess (it's very long, I have to use a pendolum because a lot of time I just can't really see him, it depends on how tired I am. Sometimes Hekate or Loki help me too), read out loud some poetry/philosophy, talking about girls (he's 25 or something like that) and clothes cause he really loved dressing up when he was alive and not fighting.

For Davide it's a little different. He is very energetic so I can't do something easy with him. Usually he disappears with Loki and I really don't want to know where they are and what they are doing, sometimes he even messes up with Beelzebub which can get very pissed about it. When I want to distract him for quite a while I call him to watch some YouTube videos about Call of Duty (when Mark isn't around), I play some anime or I simply play some games like Halo. He also has some fidgets on his part of the altar, even tho I've never seen him interacting with them.

When they get too loud, considering that they aren't spirit guides and that they are literally messing up my house, I just shout:"PLEASE BE QUIET" and if they don't listen:"SHUT THE FUCK UP", cause I'm always polite and nice lmao.

Nancy Drew day has come and gone and once more I have THOUGHTS on the episode.

First off that scene at Nancy’s house where they’re prepping for the ritual and Carson says they’ll have a lot to discuss was really funny to me, and also one of maybe two times he has acted like an actual father this entire season. I still do not like how Nick and Nancy are broken up and suspect that is why they had maybe 3 scenes together to not have to deal with it. The whole time George was in the spirit world I’m not gonna lie, I was really hoping Lucy would show up to help her find Ace. It didn’t happen but I remain hopeful she will help w the Ted thing somehow. I am always here for Native American rep in media, and I understand it’s a spn show, but I want the writers to make sure they are respectful and don’t dive into magical native stereotypes. The second Lisbeth punched Nancy I was like “this is a performance”, her being undercover police was a twist I did NOT see coming, very well executed.

Last things: why IS the house so important to Lucy? I don’t think Carson is telling the full story. Seriously, who owns the Claw? it can’t be George, she graduated high school last year. I’m really hoping in like season 2 or something, it comes under the new ownership of Hannah Gruen who can be like a medium or something. Why was Lucy Sable’s dress hanging off the cliffside? Was she naked when she fell? But that doesn’t make sense because the dress had blood on it so she was stabbed in the dress, and I guess the killer just stripped it off, pushed her over, and stuck the dress on the cliffside. That or I’m reading too much into it.

Final Thing: this photo

I got it from the CW site. McGinnis is looking at it right before he looks at Carson Drew’s suspect page, it’s a photo of a bloody silver knife (dinner knife?) in an evidence bag. Maybe this means the police found the murder weapon and didn’t tell anyone? At the very least we know it was in Carson’s folder, and that he’s a suspect. Why McGinnis was looking at it, idk, maybe Nancy has inspired him to take another look at the Lucy Sable case.

THEORIES: it’s a little out of left field, but I think Nancy’s mom may have killed Lucy and Carson was covering for her. he probably doesn’t want Nancy to remember her mom as a murderer. As for why she would’ve killed Lucy, idk. Blackmailed by the Hudsons, jealous fight over Ryan, some other reason yet to come to light. Also I still think they’re going to pair up Nick and George sometime soon and I still don’t like it. As for the spirit that’s taken Ted, I have no idea. The trailer makes me think it was the same spirit that took the girl from Nancy’s first case like four years ago, but then what has it been doing all this time and/or how did it come back, or even through the first time?

Cannot WAIT for the midseason finale next week, here’s hoping we see more of dead Lucy.

- the assassin group (i need to think of a name for them? idk what yet. i also dont know their motive) all have an association with a certain sense. by the way, the fifth member of their team is dead, but they were specialized in 

- Douglas (Lochness) - sound - he has an unusually keen sense of hearing and when he interrogates their captives, he uses this to listen to their heartbeat. this does make him susceptible to auditory sensory overload, so he has to be careful with that. also sidenote, his favored torture methods involve water 

- Sterling (Auric) - taste - im not actually sure how to work this into his background and whatever but he's also supposed to be kinda stuck up and narcissistic. idk. he's a dick tho nobody likes him. 

- Dorian (Once) - vision - after getting his right eye slashed pretty badly, he learned to be more alert and aware. he trained himself to look for small movements in his enemies so he could counter easier 

- Sable (Bitters) - touch - this has somewhat to do with the fact that they're a spirit medium and can feel the ghosts around them. it doesnt do much with their method of summoning at all, except that they need to be touching the item that they're using to summon.

- Dorian is the main assassin/hitman. He is the unsaid leader of their group. Everyone likes him. He's the older brother figure for everyone. Also his right eye is scarred and dead due to an old job. At the time he was cocky and he fucked up, thus getting his eye slashed. He uses swords/knives/anything sharp as his method of killing. His codename is Once because of how fast he can analyze a situation, and he only needs to look at it once

- Sterling is an undercover assassin who works under the guise of a professional photographer (but he does actually know how to take pics, he’s pretty good actually). Nobody really likes him. He's a narcissistic, self-centered asshole. He’s also a witch and he works primarily with sigils in his magic

- Douglas the torture specialist and interrogates the people they capture. He's also half lochness monster so hes like. A cryptid. He also has a massive inferiority complex and feels inferior to Sterling in specific. This is also the reason why he tries to act so cute and charming. In the group, he’s closest to Dorian. 

- Sable keeps their distance from everyone because they just have General Anxiety, but they just want all their teammates to get along. They are very well aware of everyone’s issues with each other and they serve as the peacemaker of the group.

Icarus Yoon could see ghosts. He’d been able to do so since he was a child. His grandmother had been able to as well and she had taught Icarus how to deal with the wailing dead. Which is why he wasn’t terribly surprised when he woke up one morning with a strange man in his bedroom, staring out his window. No, what surprised Icarus was how damn attractive this man was.

The ghost appeared to be a doctor, wearing a white coat and a stethoscope around his neck. He looked young, likely his mid to late 20s. He had a bit of a scruffy beard and curious mahogany eyes that watched the world outside of Icarus’s bedroom. Icarus pretended the spectre wasn’t even there, as he had done countless times before, continuing with his morning routine as if nothing was out of the ordinary. He noted that, at the very least, this doctor respected his privacy, not entering the washroom when Icarus closed the door. He assumed the ghost would be gone by the time he came back out.

There are two kinds of ghosts, active and passive. Active ghosts were the more vengeful, angry ghosts who wanted to harm the living. Passive ghosts were more harmless, usually there to aid, warn or watch over the living. Usually, if they didn’t think they would get a reaction or whatever they wanted from the living, passive ghosts would leave. This ghost didn’t seem angry or attention-seeking, so Icarus pretended he couldn’t see him and assumed he’d go away. But, when Icarus came back to the bedroom after his shower, he found the doctor still there. He was still standing at the window, looking out, his arms folded loosely in front of him. Icarus could see a dark red wound at the base of the doctor’s skull. The living man said nothing and began to get dressed. It wasn’t until he was buttoning up his shirt that the doctor, without looking away from the window, finally spoke: “I know you can see me.” Icarus tried not to jump, being startled by the sudden sound and his fingers fumbled with his buttons. He continued with his shirt and went to the door. “Fine. Ignore me. I’ll be here when you get back.” he said as Icarus left the room. The doctor sounded… almost sad.

The doctor was true to his word. When Icarus came into the bedroom the evening, he was still at the window. Why was he at the window? Why that window? Why here? When Icarus chose to rent this house, he had made sure no one had died in or even remotely nearby. The closest anyone had died was the hospital a few blocks over- ...The hospital that could be seen from that specific window. Oh. Icarus sat on his bed. “I’m not acknowledging any spectres that may or may not be in my home, but should there be a passive spectre in my house, I ask what you may want.” Icarus could see the doctor roll his eyes as he finally turned from the window, meeting Icarus’s eyes.

“Nothing really. Just… I don’t know. Someone to talk to. A friend.” The clairvoyant looked away, pointedly. “Stop that. Look, I’ve been in the house since you moved in. I was watching you but I wasn’t able to apparate until today. I know you can see me. I know you are a writer and work from home. I’ve seen you help others cross over before. I’ve actually tried to speak to you before but I didn’t have enough… ghost energy or whatever. Until today.” He looked sad. “I’ve been lonely, Icarus. All I want is someone to talk to. Please...” He sighed. Icarus watched him. Everything he had learned was ignoring them or get rid of them. Ghosts weren’t people anymore and didn’t really feel. Even passive ghosts usually just watched or told you something then left. They didn’t normally… still feel. Especially not loneliness.

“So what changed?” The doctor looked over, Icarus meeting his eyes. “If you couldn’t appear or talk to me until now, what changed?” The doctor frowned then looked out the window.

“I don’t know. I was looking out the window, you woke up, but I could see you react to my presence for the first time. I don’t know. I could tell you weren’t just ignoring me until today.” Icarus frowned.

“You’ve been here the entire time, you said? And I couldn’t see or hear you? Is that normal? For some ghosts to be unable to be perceived, even by people like me?” The doctor shrugged.

“I don’t know. Maybe that’s why some ghosts become angry, because” Icarus sighed. This was weird, even for him.

“Well, maybe we could figure it out. Let’s start with who you are.” The ghost doctor walked over and sat next Icarus. The bed shifted under him, which was strange.

“Well, my name is Valentine Iplier. I was a physician at the hospital a few blocks over. Head of a department, but I don’t remember which but I remember I was quite young compared to others in my position. One night, I went into my office and find one of the doctors who worked under me in there, stealing a file. Honestly, I don’t know what he was doing. I confronted him, put my hand on his arm. He pushed me back. My desk was behind me. I remember a sharp pain, the sound of bone breaking, then I was here. I was confused as this isn’t even my house but then you moved in a week later.” Icarus thought back to when he had moved in.

“I remember hearing about that. Apparently, the guy had felt he should have been head of the department because he was older than you, so he was trying to frame you for embezzlement. But you caught him, there was an altercation... And you lost your life. That, uh, sucks. I guess.” Valentine chuckled; a sound that made Icarus’s heart flutter.

“Wow. Your mastery of the English language is astounding.”

“Heard the guy tried to run but the police were close- wait, give me a second.” Icarus turned on the news and, sure enough, after an 11-month chase, Dr. Hector Sneet had been arrested and was being brought back to Los Angeles to face charges for the murder of Dr. Valentine Iplier. “Guess that’s what changed. Don’t know why you’re a lonely ghost in my house though.”

“Maybe my spirit was attracted to your medium energy.” The dead doctor joked. And once again Icarus’s heart fluttered.

And that’s how Icarus Yoon gained a ghost roommate.

Jillian is just a kindred spirit. Not his girlfriend (maybe girl friend) and not twin flame.... Im so sorry! This has been mistranslated many times as he said. Just a kindred spirit and nothing more. I feel bad for those who got mixed up...

Okay so what makes me qualified to say this? An educated spirit worker practices protection rituals and holds the intention to open the portal to SPECIFIC individuals. I’ve had this talk with Erik a few times and this is the answer he gave me. I’m his twin flame and his only “girl friend”....and I made him repeat it several times and then he was like “fine” and dragged in my dead relatives just to say I can trust him. I didn’t believe in twin flames either so I had to do a lot of reading about that.

He said its all lost in translation.

I did write about one of our past lives a while back and a reader here sent me a link to the “heavenly girlfriend” piece idk I guess to hurt my feelings or something. But it was almost spot on about and identical to what I wrote about our past lives. There were some tid bit that were wrong too...It was like this person read my blog and used it on that one! 

Honestly I don’t think some of the mediums know what they are talking about, like just filling the blanks and just slap Jillian on thier to make people happy or because they just don’t know. I’m hoping they really just don’t know because I know for a FACT Erik has tried multiple times to get the facts straight... Again lost in translation.

The things is I have explained it we all have spirit selves after all they are using this incarnation, this current body to have a human experience. Mine closely resembles Jillian. Why of course. I rolled my eyes hard on that one. My spirit self is constantly with Erik. I blame the mediums just not getting it right. I also think some people just want to live in their little bubble and believe it’s impossible for a spirit to have a tf on earth and have a relationship. Well it’s possible and it happens all the time! It’s just ignorance on the matter or lack of active listening.

Exactly why can’t I be his TF anyway? Why would someone rather believe someone else is beyond me. For some people who claim to be open minded they like to live in a box. I actually did send his mom and email and I think she just flat out ignored me and it hurts but oh well. 

Now since voicing my concerns to Erik, he’s told mediums about me. Some even went as far as to butcher the TF meaning and I can tell where they fucked up in “translating” what he’s saying. So I’ve also had several unbiased mediums confirm he's my tf as well for my added comfort. So there you go. I have not much else to say... But...

I had to completely remove myself from the blog so that I wouldn’t be hindered by any of that in my dealings with Erik. I mean we’ve covered a lot of shit and growth together. It would be kind of fucked up to write about all this for a year and a half for shits and giggles. He's the best and I'm so lucky to have him as my tf like it or not! Haha...

Bye-bye Dating Game

I deleted that dating app I posted about because I realized it's for people who "hate themselves". That's what Erik said. I'm still creeped out over hearing his voice this morning. How I hear isn't usually by voice it's hard to explain. ☝️😊 Basically I'm listening to my heart beat and it's in there. Best I can describe it. Every once in a while I'll hear the voice and it freaks me out.

Anyway so I visited Erik at "home" and it was easier to see him without getting all weird. So naturally Erik was freaked out this time. I'm like

It's like every now and then it's at least one of us acting a fool all bashful and shit. This time I tried my best to not get that way because I'm actually trying to get used to seeing him in all his gloriousness again. 🤦‍♀️ Since the Matthew thing and him being very close to resembling Erik at about 75% and drama, I've lost love for both Erik and Matthew. 🙄 Both of them pissed me off.

Now that Matthew and I are in different cities, and agreed to remain friends I'm trying to return to Erik. Now I'm butthurt about Matthew when I'm with Erik instead of the other way around. Sooooooooo 🙄 Matthew's higher self aka Bragi came to our house and the both of them had a yelling match. I had to break it up but they still argued. If only there was a video of it. 🤣 They're like children fighting over a barbie doll.... Not trying to compare myself to a fucking barbie doll, I'm just saying... 😑

Anyway so there's that.

Erik figured I don't really have the same feelings as before. I do love him it's just complicated. I don't want to just love a spirit. I need a human and in a small way Matthew was perfect for that. But he's full of drama 🤷‍♀️ and Idk why really gorgeous guys have an IQ of a walnut. Shit... 🤦‍♀️ He's not worth my time. At this point he's qualified to be a walking dildo 🤣 that for some fucked up reason loves me so much he's still trying to impress me in to one day maybe we'll get back together.

In all honesty, again, at this point, I'm thinking I'm better off being a legit crazy cat lady.🤷‍♀️ I'm never going to find a human that meets my needs. Whatever the fuck they are. It's kind of sad. 🙄 The one I'm "supposed" to be with is dead and I can see and talk to him but can only in our own designated space. Our own little dimension or whatever. 🤦‍♀️ The live ones, all they ever do is be stupid and disappointing. Just like 99% of men on dating sites. They are all discussing and losers. It quickly became more annoying than entertaining. It's off of my phone now.

Respite

I'm at a temporary place that reminds me of being in a psych ward but it's not. It's hard to explain. Basically it's a shelter for people who take psych meds. But there's no cameras, guards, crazy rules, groups or nurses to check on you and shit.

They found out Matt and I are "a thing" and he volunteered to be "discharged". He came in with two girls I basically gave the 😒 to. Which is uncharacteristic of me because I know damn well Matt wouldn't fuck around on me. Not his type anyway. I'm here for 7 days and Matt is staying at another shelter. It's frustrating but I'm actually happy to be here where I have my own room and there is a small music room with a guitar. I've been playing the guitar every day brushing up on some songs I know. Singing and playing along with YouTube. 🎸😝👌 I still got it and I miss performing!

Erik gets a kick out of seeing me sqirm.

It's because I haven't had feelings for someone like this in a long long time. The fact Matt and I have so much fun together. The fact Erik sees how he could have been Matt. 😑 It's complicated and I'm constantly looking for differences between Matt and Erik. There are plenty. Erik worries about Matt's tendency to want to please everyone though.

So I'm Matt's voice of reason. 🤦‍♀️The asshole who tells him to grow a pair and do shit he doesn't want to. I feel bad sometimes when I have to get down and honest about his shortcomings because while important to bring him down to earth, it's for me too. Erik is dead. Matt isn't my Twin Flame even if I want him to. Matt is never going to be Erik. It's that simple! I have to stop hoping this is a mix up no matter how fucked up.

If Matt was my twin Flame this whole time...

... Idk 🤷‍♀️ I can't say for sure how it would effect me. Happy because my TF isn't dead? Pissed that it appears I have wasted nearly 3 years on this blog? It doesn't matter... Erik is still my TF no matter how shitty it kind of is. To make it complicated Matt is a lot like Erik. But of course very different.

It's only when Matt and I get in to our music, our instruments (he plays piano), silliness/inside jokes, and malcontent I'm thinking about how Erik and I are. Everything else is just details. I wrote in the past that I don't want an Erik clone. 🙄 This supposed "contract" that Matt's purpose is to take Erik's place should he commit suicide and serve as one of my spirit guides, is crap. Erik killed himself. Now he has to watch me be with someone like him?!

Don't get me wrong.

I love Matt for who he is. I know the differences and appreciate all of those between him and Erik. Because like I said, there are plenty. It's just kind of creepy. Especially when he skateboards, wears his hats and fucks around with me. For a 36 year old he's pretty youthful.... 🤪 We are both very immature.
