Been thinking abt corrupted au again. I'm unwell

Anyways. I think corrupted!Sonic would struggle with dissociation. He has a lot of moments where he feels unreal, untethered from his body. Watching but not feeling

Some of Sonic's idle dialogue in Frontiers implies he may have been dissociating a bit while he was working to save his friends. "I know I'm moving... I can't feel it" and "I'm so cold now... numb" specifically come to mind, though you could also attribute these to physical exhaustion. I like to think it's a bit of both

But corrupted!Sonic continues to have these episodes even after everything that happened in the Starfall Islands has passed, mostly due to what remains of the cyber corruption in him

He's completely silent in that state (not like he talks much to begin with after getting amnesia, but he's noticeably quieter) and mostly unresponsive. Sometimes he'll stay right where he is, spaced out. Other times he'll run off, his body basically going on autopilot and wandering to places that were once familiar. It might even happen while he's doing something else, and he won't remember having done it when he comes to

Aside from the more severe dissociative episodes though, he also feels generally disconnected from his body. It feels unfamiliar now, and he often finds himself trying to make himself smaller because that's how he remembers being. But having grown and changed so much makes that hard. Not even curling up into a ball feels the same now. He has to get used to being a teenager all over again

First two (Syrup and Raith) are mostly just neat but not that different from their modern gene plans, Camille and the unnamed leap yeap G1 I am Considering, and then Ares is making me sad bc i love how finally something is making the prim/sec match but even so I can't do anything for his tert and also he'd need a pose change

im gonna give you my list of empires and their alcohols so far (may change in the future)

Dawn - mead (a honey wine that was traditionally made by the vikings, is incredibly sweet and a very unique drink)

Goblands - vodka (he feeds his pigs with potatoes and i remembered that you use potatoes to make vodka)

Pirate empire - rum (its the traditional pirate drink and thats really all the explanation here)

Stratos - dark red wine (Stratos is heavily based off of ancient Greece and one common type of offering to gods was dark red wine also its for the aesthetic)

Evermoore - ale (the traditional clothing of witches comes from women who brewed ale in the medieval times, most notably their large hat was worn so people could spot them in crowds and come to buy some ale)

Chromia - neon fruit-flavoured cocktails (it just fits with his entire vibe + its colourful)

Animalia - none (alcohol is toxic to most animals, especially cats!)

Tumbletown - moonshine (its the cowboy drink so it fits!)

Sanctuary - tequila (i wanted to go with a latin-american alcohol due to the latin-american inspired design & archetecture of Sanctuary and tequila is from Mexico)

Pixl's empire - cacao wine (one of the oldest forms of alcohol i could fine in a 5-minute google)

then i dont have any for glimmergrove or false's empire yet and all of these are subject to change (Sanctuary is the one im least confident in right now)

>> she LITERALLY adores snakes because of faust– as sad as it is to say, during the time from when she first lost her memories she was genuinely afraid of faust despite herself & the calm familiarity, a warm comforting feeling, that’d frequently fall over her in the presence of the familiar. it took her such a long, confusing & conflicting time, to eventually be able to go near faust– let alone have faust around her, up on her shoulder, near her face etc. now she absolutely 0 problems with it, like it’s almost second nature & a big comfort to her.

>> bc of this faust is a big reason why she often tries to protect or home snakes that’ve been injured or are unsafe the best she can !! she’ll usually opt to heal injured snakes & will sometimes try to create shelters for them– if not, she’ll relocate them to a quieter area away from town. finding dead snakes is always a sad burden for her as well tbh, it’s not very often but it still happens, especially if she can feel their energy slowly fade out– it’s genuinely heart breaking for her; however she always makes sure to give them a pleasant burial among the flowers.

Not sure if intros are a Thing since we all posted on the talk tags but jic - here is my talk tag / about / info. I tried to make a couple of plots under the cut, though tbh I’m probably better at coming up with plots through IM or discord BUT just in case. I’ll make sure I got back to messages I was replying to before and if we haven’t plotted yet and you want to just like this and I’ll toss a msg your way. 💫

An old grudge type relationship. Would prefer if they both did something less than ideal to each other rather than it being one sided in either direction. Bonus points if they punch Mun in the face. Could be some unresolved issue there, like maybe they used to be actual friends but trust was betrayed or something.

Probably he needs a few genuine friends. He’s bad at being understanding and also understanding himself and picking apart his emotions. So it might be interesting if he is (or Becomes - this might b more exciting to rp) friends with someone who is more open emotionally and sort of helps him understand that ignoring ur feelings and relying on anger is Not At All a good life strategy and kicking inanimate objects is not a stand in for therapy.

He is basically a preening bird like if anyone is his fan or pretends to be his fan he will Eat It Up, he lives for adoration. I think there could be some interesting plots that come from this, either someone could try to manipulate him by playing at it (for a fame boost, or maybe they want a song, or if we plot some deeper r/s something more personal), or else he might take advantage of that blind loyalty and be too demanding or something and overall it’s lowkey a toxic r/s. Once again would prefer it not be one sided and they’re both kind of assuming wrongly or doing sketchy things or etc.

I’d like to have had an ex plot eventually. He gets pretty obsessive over people and is often Just Too Much in relationships. Demands a lot from people, expects to be at the center of their attention, expects them to be in the center of his. So it easily could have fallen apart because of that, or we could deviate away and do a different reason. I will mention tho that he has a Type, he generally likes to go after people around his age or older, also likes girls that will boss him around. Likes guys that are a bit scrappy.

He needs an obsession for the present, ofc. Same details as above for the type. 

Maybe a hookup or two, could’ve not meant much to him but did to them. Or else maybe he had wanted it to turn into something and it didn’t. Orrrr idk something else Dramatic that I can’t think of.

He’s absolutely the most jealous person in the world, if you’re super famous and he doesn’t click with you he very well may be a bitch bc he wants that fame too. Even though he pretends he doesn’t. Make it make sense, Mun.

People who hate him for being obnoxious. I’m also down to plot out histories and figure out something that happened between them so they’re not chill now.

Maybe a plot where like they Almost had a relationship but it never panned out bc of like work or Mun’s terrible personality or something else so it’s kind of painted over in nostalgia and what if but they both know it would’ve ended poorly regardless but it’s still like weird mixed feelings up in there.

I just finished watching Boy Erased with my family and I’m so pissed off that this movie hasn’t gotten the reception it deserved! It came out in November and it only has gotten $7.9 million worldwide!

Like yeah! It’s about a middle class white kid, so sure it’s not representation in the POC sense! But it’s a real fucking story too based off a memoir!! This actually happened to this guy and countless kids who have had to go through experiences just like the one shown in the movie!!!! They portrayed the torment that a gay man who got raped and had to go through conversion therapy because his father thinks he’s a sin so well!!

Fuck I’m just!! So pissed that it barely got any money!!! Fuck y’all who ask for representation but then don’t do shit when movies like this come out just cause you guys want a perfect love story that doesn’t show any of the dark things we have to go through

last show i watched: right now i’m making my way through finding skz! i watched finding skz god as it came out and it was High Art so now i’m returning to the origins. but the last show i FINISHED was when @theyoungflexer and i worked our way through the greatest show ever created: teen wolf. (yes we did finish it, because no there is no such thing as seasons 5 and 6)

favorite characters: howl from howl’s moving castle (actually every character from that movie tbh), anakin skywalker in all forms, robin hood but just the disney fox version

sweet, spicy or savory: savory :) i’m fine w spicy, i can eat like One Sweet Thing Per Day, but i crave salt constantly (no i’m not iron deficient stop asking)

sparkling water, tea or coffee: cold tea! i would say sparkling water because i think i technically drink it more, but i always mix it with juice or smth so idk if it counts
