Thinks oh so hard abt Kanade daddy issues. It's so fascinating to me how you can read some of her issues caused by her dad beginning or being set up much earlier than his hospitalization, idk how intentional it was but it still makes me feel like biting someone

#rat rambles #sekai posting #like the way she just so completely blames herself for contributing to her dads spiral not just in the sense that she feels like she did #this to him but that she feels like she failed him. the way she had already on some level been responsible for his well being when she rly #shouldnt have. the way that she was clearly struggling but never once asked for help because she could tell her dad was struggling as well #and just. idk they become so much more interesting to think abt once you recognise that they were a disfunctional family even before #kanade made that song for her dad #her dad isnt a bad person and clearly loves kanade so so much but he. is a very flawed father.#I think hes a big part of the reason kanade has gotten so acustomed to only seeing herself as valuable if shes caring for others #idk if Im making sense sorry tjdndkdnd
