Intro & My take on KM

Hi!

I’m new around here so it’s supposed to be (not so short) introduction, since I don’t know how to start a blog heh. I hope to sprinkle my 0.5 cents into the KM conversation and maybe to bring a new perspective from someone, who is not a part of the typical English-speaking West.

Who /the hell/ Am I?

(please, consider it to be said with NJ’s voice from Intro: Persona :D)

I was born in Siberia (it’s in the Asian part of Russia), currently live in the European part of the country while studying at a Uni (European in terms of geography, not in terms of everything else i’m definitely not shading rn lolllll). English is not my first language, I’ve just kind of learnt it to some extent. Due to this it takes me more time to write a post; and I may (and will) make some grammatical & other mistakes. Plus I’m lazy AND busy with Uni, so I won’t even promise to be consistent in posting smth lol. But I thought I need more practice in terms of writing in English, so here I am, actually scribbling something. This feels weird, because I’ve been around stan Tumblr since 2015, but never ever interacted, just read.

How I ended up around Jikook/Kookmin (and BTS) & My (long&messy) take on this matter

Although I had heard of BTS before, I became an Army only in October 2018. I had kinda avoided them, because you know... boybands.... sing songs about romantic love and how they love girls.......... (+I had been around Twitter when 1D been at their peak and I remember a quite toxic community of fans, whom always had scared me). Shortly, hello stereotypes. Obviously, after I got engaged I felt terribly sorry that I had been sleeping on them, but what is done cannot be undone.

Someone I knew back then reposted one of their MVs and I, during my sad hours of procrastination, decided to watch it. Then I saw their live performance with the same song. And I thought “wow these guys can sing and dance and the music is kinda cool, i need to check this out maybe??”

Then a funny thing happened. One of the next videos I watched (the same person had it added to their page) was a 2016 BangtanBomb where JM and JK practiced their Coming of Age dance.

Well, that was precisely me after I watched it. I don’t even know how to explain this, it was kind of a gut feeling? Whatever you call it, I started to get suspicious and couldn’t even explain to myself why. /actually now a do have questions to this vid and the main one - why does everyone cringe that much? if it’s a girly choreo than they had done some “girly” moves before. why is there such strong reaction??/

I started to get deeper and went to some ru-shipper communities. Shipping culture among Russian speaking fans is... well, weird to some extent, but I maybe address this topic some time later. You need to consider that (as far as you probably know) Russia is quite homophonic country and sadly is not the greatest place for LGBTQ+ community at the moment. The non-frienly influential attitudes hanging in the society + the general shippers’ weirdness = the result is not that nice honestly.

I struggled for some time in order to find more mature people (not just in terms of age but in general sanity), failed, ended up with some EXTREMELY toxic ru-fans of TK, which was/is the most popular pairing here, spent among them like 15 minutes and ran away horrified. After that I didn’t even try to engage with shippers or believers or whatever of any pair and just decided to enjoy the music and the content (which is a great idea, highly recommend!)

After a couple of days I discovered that JK makes videos. I love video, films and visual art so I immediately found them on YT, saw the titles with names of different cities from all over the world and was like “Oh that must be so cool, he’s visited so many outstanding places I’ve never been to, so I really need to watch it! I shall enjoy some beautyyy”. Then I clicked on GCFt.

Well, what can I say. I did enjoy some beauty, but not the type I had initially anticipated. The biggest clickbait in my entire life. JK should be proud of himself.

I had already known Troy back then and I known the song’s lyrics so it would not be an underestimation to say - the video just blew my mind. I was like - hold on is this real? seriously?? no really really????? he manage to get away with something THAT obvious?????? dude how

As a person who edited videos AND is not a native English speaker, I don’t buy the explanation “oh he mustve didnt get the lyrics lmao”. You just don’t do that. You don’t. DON’T. You google and translate every shit you don’t understand, every word and idiom you’ve never encountered, because otherwise the possibility of an epic failure is very likely. You wouldn’t want to give your mum a video as a birthday present and then discover that you used a song with WAP-ish lyrics, right? (well maybe that would be okay in your family, I don’t judge, but that’s not the case for people I know). So don’t you dare to degrade JK’s intellectual capacities; such assumption is really offensive. He is a smart boii, he knows exactly what he’s doing in terms of his art.

So I was shocked, but decided to look for the context - maybe I missed some previous events regarding this Tokyo thing (another great idea - always check the context). Well, apparently I didn’t, because the whole narrative with the trip for two, lovely selfies etc. made my poor brain lowkey explode. (I still don’t buy the rings theory thing though)

But I didn’t give up lol! I’m a bit stubborn and it’s very hard to convince me in anything, so I decided to search for more context, more of their interactions, moreeee. Remember, the late October 2018, there were no swan lakes, RB, and even MMA18 hadn’t happened yet.

This time I ended up watching content in more or less consistent way, and when I saw all of these scenes with affectionate JM and a cool badass i-don’t-care-about-anyone-i’m-a-manly-man-with-no-feelings-whatsoever JK, I just hysterically laughed.

Homophobic Russia, remember? I recognized this. Growing up here being LGBT myself, taught me the same type behaviour during my high school days. When a girl I kinda liked but didn’t what to admit it to myself was nice to me or (oh god) flirted with me, I did something similar. It’s like a huge panic mode. Being an introvert doesn’t help either. The funniest thing is that you may not entirely realise what exactly is going on in terms of your own feelings, especially at that age (16-18ish). In my personal case, I thought I liked her but as a friend, only later to realise that well not as a friend oops :DDD The second thing (already not so funny) is that you actually consciously or unconsciously try to avoid the subject as much as possible, as long as possible and pretend that nothing is going on. We’re just bros. Stop doing this stupid gayish thing and don’t look at me like that, you’re annoying. If you ever do this again I (gently) kick you. I’m straighter than a straight line in my math textbook. IDK, but probably that’s your brain is somehow trying to protect you. Again, in my case&position I knew that the consequences for any non-straight person being outed would be bad (TW not to the point of being killed bad, but to the point of being excluded from a big part of society). So for me it was a mixture of the internalized homophobia + lack of self reflection + just being a bit emotionally slow + very! straight community around. Shit happens, I was a teenager and made my share of mistakes, but that experience helps me to recognize the same pattern of behaviour up to this day.

So coming back to KM, because the post is already waaay too long and I just ramble. It’s been 2+ years for me being a part of this fandom, and what can I say... Things become more intense and eventful with every year passing by ;) Funny how I felt that vibe from the 2016 dance practice video. Seeing the Black Swan performance a week ago almost had me choked, no joking. They are amazing.

However, and I would like to emphasize that, I do not incline that KM are 100% romantically involved and/or gay or whatever. I tend to treat people with respect and not to make too much assumptions about their private life. That’s not my business. However, I’m also not a fan of heteronormativity, so I’m just sitting here and observe everything that’s going on putting some distance and not forgetting being generally polite and critical thinking. But if they are just straightest besties please give them an Oscar before Grammy

Anyways, I hope this blog won’t kick the bucket from the very start and I will post something every now and then. You can always ask me questions about some BTS/Jikook related stuff or something about Russia and a Russian view on mass culture topics, since I’m pretty sure some of you have very stereotypical view of what is going on here :) However, do note that I’ve never been to America or Europe, therefore I may not be aware of something verrrry obvious to you or just have a completely different experience.

P.S. And yeah, I’m used to say Jikook, since it’s the name which is used much more frequently in Russian. i like it better and what will u do haha

1. how has your day been?

really breezy. i woke up at 9 without the alarm, had a mince pie, and then i called my friends and we all played identity v together.

im nearing the end of my day and finally starting to prep my presentation for tmr :’)

2. what is the last thing that made you smile?

i laughed a lot today so i can’t really remember any specific thing, but if it’s like a satisfied/delighted smile then probably my weekly quiz result for the politics class

3. what’s keeping you entertained these days?

im trying out a lot of games but none could hold my interest as identity (which i mentioned above), i also started to watch sherlock: untold stories (by fuji tv) - a Jdrama aired last year - because some people subbed it in vietnamese! can’t find any eng subs online just yet tho.

im also watching a lot of streams on facebook (mainly from 2 particular identity v streamers whom i love) and they are really entertaining lol

4. if you are in some kind of quarantine/self isolation: is there anything you’d like to achieve in this time?

in terms of uni, probably not falling so far behind and just completing all my tasks in time? if it’s about gaming then probably being promoted to rank mammoth for survivor in identity? lol idk im playing in the na-eu server while based in oz so you can imagine the ping

also i really really really want to finish my wips! nothing would make me happier than being able to post a ‘i’ve updated the last chapter of xxx!’

since the “adult content” ban on tumblr, the changes I’ve noticed so far as a regular user have been as follows:

a lot of content creators left the platform, even if their content wasn’t all under that category

the system made it impossible for them to keep sharing content without having to battle confusing algorithms and an overall confusing policy

the “review posts” option doesn’t always work properly and makes it difficult to review claims sometimes

the span of time it takes for claims to be processed can also affect those who share content with specific schedules or whose content is inherent to their work, be that professional or not

anything you make with a certain % of what the algorithm considers “skin tones” can be automatically flagged

this means that you can get flagged for posting a gif of a hand or a selfie with a tank top

this also means that those who post/reblog p*rn gifs just changed them to grayscale and they go around just fine

this is pretty bothersome for those who don’t want that content on their dash unannounced, because before you could just block the tag, now none of those posts are tagged appropriately because they don’t want to flag themselves

and, let’s be honest, most of us have a handful of horny mutuals and if you don’t have one, you are the horny mutual

I don’t wanna unfollow mutuals just because we don’t fall under the same spectrum you know, we could coexist before just fine

these people also can’t just go around announcing they have “occasional adult content” anymore because they don’t wanna be flagged so idk how minors navigate this site at this point

the amount of p*rn bots I get a week escalated considerably

they changed their modus operandi so that they aren’t as easily spot, which makes it an absolute pain in the ass

basically the only thing you can do is go to you followers list at least once a week and hover over you new followers, spot the bots and block from there

some innocent blogs with no description or icon, who might as well be new people who haven’t yet done much to personalize their blogs, are gonna be blocked just in case

alternatively, you can check the activity page regularly and copy the username of the apparent bot by hand on the “edit appearance” tab, because you can’t copy it from there and you sure as hell do not under any circumstances want to open the blog in a tab

a good bunch of blogs have been hacked by these bots to reblog their content, in an even more aggressive manner than before

the content isn’t explicit, which means that it’s mainly stolen selfies from random girls who have nothing to do with any of this

the fact that there was a heavy migration post-ban and that tumblr is apparently being sold again made it possible for certain dishonest and exploitative platforms to showcase publicly their interest on buying it and using the discontent on the situation as an excuse

said dishonest and exploitative platforms are centered on explicit content sharing that is not under a positive and safe environment

and that’s my appreciation so far

what’s up guys is 12:25 am and i’m thinking too much again !! the point: even tho tumblr has this running joke of “we’re all just yelling into the void” it’s still a social media and many people, myself included, use it as such; therefore, when someone makes a post, they want it to be seen, just like on any other social media website. people crave validation and social media is where a lot of people get it, including me. this is p much the only place i can be completely myself and not have to worry about it, and every once and a while i’d like someone, anyone, to say “hey, i saw ur post”, or “fuck u” or anything ?? like just fucking respond .. idk

i say this bc i feel like a lot of the time my original posts get ignored. and not even just that. like those ask prompt things that r numbered and have themes. i usually try to remember to send a few to whoever i reblog from and anyone that rbs one from me, but it’s very rare that i get one. and i’ve posted them at different times of the day, in various “active periods” and no luck in any of them ! and whenever i do get an ask, i do my best to respond quickly and enthusiastically and be nice and kind (unless it’s about discourse but that’s another story) and encourage other people to send me and emoji or number or whatever the duck the ask meme was about but like,,, i shouldn’t even bother ? like idk who sends me asks whenever i get them, but they’re mostly anons (which is fine don’t get me wrong) but there’s no recurring anon that feels like they should have a signature so i know who they r and i think k i’ve had 2 or three people ask me something from their blogs (not on anon). idk it just feels shitty to feel like any kind of grab for attention i make is ignored !

and another thing: lesbian day of visibility.

all day i’d been rbing or at least liking people’s selfies bc hello i’m gay ur gay let’s support each other. around 4/5pm (idk really but it was late afternoon sometime) i took a few selfies and posted them. i kept them up for most of the night i think, until i noticed something. i noticed that my posts directly before and after my selfies gad gotten notes, but my selfies had three notes, all from reblogging them myself (with the mindset that oh people just haven’t seen it yet bc tumblr),, and i got this feeling again that no one online really cares about what the fuck i do bc i am literally always fucking ignored and i got really sad about that and deleted them.

but speaking of always ignored: i was in ginas (bananaquits) discord server for dps, along w a lot of other people that r very nice and i still am vaguely in touch w now. i was pretty active for a while, then i started to just occasionally participate in discussion bc it was A Lot if Talking All The Time. even before i decided to participate less, i felt like if i said something in the chat, everyone just skimmed over it and kept talking about whatever. and this server, thanks to ginas efforts, had a very good culture of making sure people weren’t ignored if they said something in a chat; we were supposed to at least acknowledge every1s comments bc that’s a nice thing to do u kno ? well anyway, one day, someone posted something about how in the server, no one gets left behind or forgotten (like in lilo and stitch) ,, here’s a shitty poem i wrote bc i was pissed off.

What was the last book/movie that really impressed you?I’m listening to the audiobook “How to Build a Universe: An Infinite Monkey Cage Adventure” by Brian Cox, Robin Ince and Alexandra Feachem. Henlo everyone, whew, it was such an exciting weekend! I want to write about my experience so here I go:

some notes before I start talking about it:

also btw i know im not wearing a bra in the first pics hopefully that doesn’t bother you guys lol but I don’t really have boobs to begin with and like wearing the smallest bra just feels like putting unnecessary discomfort on myself like it’s not like I need to hold something nonexistent in place so it’s just bc i need to cover my pepperonis for society?? I wore them when I was younger and i would get like rashes and even scars from the underwire and i was like WHY AM I DOING THIS ok i can keep ranting about this but dis post is not about dat so onwards

this is quite a long post

I was supposed to go Friday but I remembered that LCS starts later on Friday, and I was taking public transport from like an hour away so I didn’t want to be dealing with that late at night in LA because it’s a little dangerous since I was alone. So unfortunately I didn’t get to meet Team Dignitas :(

Saturday

Anyways, Saturday was CLG vs IMT, and P1 vs C9.

CLG vs IMT

IMT stomped on CLG pretty hard, because Stixxay got really sick last minute, so they had to fly in Joey to sub support (he flew in at like 4 am OMG!!), and I was also surprised with the Aphro adc. I didn’t know who to cheer for as usual for most matches, I just wanted both teams to have fun rip. Also props to Joey for subbing last minute, the crowd was really kind and always cheered and clapped for his efforts haha.

Also I would like to point out that FLAMEDOCH IS REAL, the camera doesn’t capture this all the time but off camera Flame and Dardoch talk to each other the most on the team, they’re always laughing, they’re pretty touchy, and just overall super cute. Also I recorded a video of this on my snap but I’M SO ANGRY I FORGOT TO SAVE IT IT WAS SO CUTE but after game one Flame and Dardoch went to the break room holding hands and swinging their hands back and forth like a couple, I don’t think the camera caught this. TL;DR FLAMEDOCH IS VERY REAL GUYS AND IF YOU SEE THEM BEING TOUCHY ON CAMERA THEY’RE JUST AS TOUCHY ALL THE TIME OFF CAMERA TOO AO;SIFNAOIW;ENF

Then came the CLG and IMT fan meet. You have to take a picture with both teams btw. When I went up to take a group picture with IMT, Pobelter was like “Hi” and I was like “hi” back xD

After you take group photos you can talk with players and take some selfies real quick before they head back. Since I already met CLG, I didn’t take more photos with them but I talked with Darshan. Actually, at the CLG meetup I went to earlier, it was Darshan who told me exactly “Well I really hope I see you again in LA this season to support us!” and Saturday I told him “I remember you told me this exactly so I took a 13 hour train all the way down here just to support you guys!!!” lol. We had a nice conversation. Darshan is a really nice guy, and I also want to say that Aphro is too. This is the second time I met them and I’ve noticed this, they seem to be the ones to talk with their fans and really care the most.

I was also able to get a selfie with Dardoch, Pobleter, and Flame.

Dardoch to me seems like a kind person. I know he has a controversial past and I do believe he wasn’t the kindest in the past, but I really believe in “reformed” dardoch. He seems to care about his fans a lot these days. Also, when you take a picture with Dardoch he pulls you in so close a;oiewnefia;ejf....like he holds you so tight and snug and basically i was ded

Pobelter seems like a funny guy. Like...his personality is exactly like how his snapchats are LOL. Kind of like a slightly awkward yet super memey funny guy lmao.

and let me tell you about Flame man...this man is so BEAUTIFUL. Like, I’ve noticed he’s not too photogenic, but the photos really don’t do him justice. Like he’s actually EXTREMELY handsome in real life, it’s unexplainable, but he’s such a beautiful man OTL. Also Flame’s personality, he really is a “pup”! @pikaniuu always refers to Flame as a cute mans and a pup because he literally is one!! He gets distracted/immersed by little things and is a little oblivious in a cute way.

C9 vs P1

C9 also pulled the win against P1 pretty easily, well, they’re C9 so they always do pretty well. I brought the big light up C9 sign to the stage, and the camera actually caught me with it! Woooh (here’s a twitch clip of me hahaha)

Also they took a picture of me with the sign and put it on the riot flickr! wow much HD

Soo I got to take photos with P1 and C9 of course. I also had the giant light up C9 with me as well. When I went to go take a group photo with C9, sneaky was like ooo what’s that and he said it was really nice. Also, SNEAKY AND CONTRACTZ WERE BEING REALLY CUTE TOGETHER because Sneaky kept poking at his cheeks and Contractz was looking back at Sneaky doing the same. Idk it was really adorable, I didn’t get to capture too much of it but here’s a short video (I’ll try to gif it soon, it’s just sooo cute)

After the group photos I was able to take a selfie with Meteos, and all of C9 except for Jensen (Jensen leaves the fan meet pretty early so I missed him).

not gonna lie Dark meteos is pretty hot irl. I also asked him to sign my C9 poster for C9. NO SHAME

Smoothie’s super nice. I told him I liked his new hair hehe. He talked with me for a while, ahh I love Smoothie so much

OKAY IMPACT’S PERSONALITY IS LITERALLY LIKE FLAME. THEY BOTH HAVE PUPPY PERSONALITIES, IT’S SO CUTE. When I asked them to sign my sign, Impact got really immersed and fiddled with my sign for a while. He was like, really excitedly, “WOW SO COOL!! , DOES IT LIGHT UP???? CAN I TURN IT ON??? *turns it on* WOWWWOWOWOOW OMG SO COOL.” And it was so fckin cute just seeing him so intrigued by my sign lol.

Contractz is a little shy but still cute as ever. Ahh it’s weird to think that he’s younger than me xD

Ray is such a QT! He didn’t talk much and is also a little shy, but nevertheless I loved Ray!

Lastly, I need to talk about Sneaky Daddy. Oh my god, he’s the one that left the biggest impression on me. He is literally so kind and friendly, he talks to you immediately when you go take a group photo with him, and if you go up to him to take a picture or sign something, he always makes a conversation with every fan no matter how shy they are. The way Sneaky talks to you, he talks like you’re already best friends. He makes you super comfortable around him, and he really seems to enjoy interacting with the fans. Also out of all the members, he’s the one who stayed behind the longest to chat with all the fans, even when it was time to go. He makes sure he gets a good conversation with everyone. My respect and fangirlism for Sneaky went up 1000%. Also not to mention his hair is fucking beautiful and graceful and his eyes are literal marbles and his skin is fair and smooth as fuck??? Sneaky is actually beautiful, like, he’s so pretty, his face is like art tbh. I’ve always noticed this but especially now I really feel like out of all the pros, Sneaky is the one who enjoys his job the most and to the fullest. I mean like he doesn’t just like winning, he enjoys learning from his mistakes and losses, he enjoys streaming, he values every one of his fans, he always seems to be a very good sport, he's extremely passionate about the work he has to put in to scrim all the time and improve. TL;DR, Sneaky is an incredibly kind-hearted, friendly, and genuine person.

FOX vs NV

So I only got tickets for NALCS1, but I stuck around a little longer and one of the employees said that they could let me in the other theatre to watch the last FOX vs NV that was still going on. Yay! So I got to catch the last game, which Echo Fox won. Unfortunately Team EnVY didn’t come out for pictures or the fanmeet (I really wanted to meet Apollo <3 T.T), but it’s understandable that someone wouldn’t want to go to a fanmeet when the team isn’t doing so well in the standings. Oh well. Anyways, I got to meet Echo Fox, and I took a selfie with Looper and Akaadian and I got to talk to Akaadian for a while.

I asked Akaadian who his favorite Brodie is. He was like “My favorite brodie? Hmmm...that’s a good question” and he said Zedxlol (for you guys who don’t know, he was on Team Liquid Academy with the rest of the brodies Moon and Dardoch, and they’re all really close). Then I was like, “Not Moon?” And then he was like, “Ah this is such a hard question, I love all my brodies in different ways. I guess as well it would probably be Moon, we’re really close. He’s really such a nice guy deep down.”

Looper is just so precious???? He’s so cute lmao and he’s also a shy boy >.<

Sunday

Sunday was TSM vs P1 and FLY vs TL. Sunday I also met up with @liquidhunny and her friends and it was really fun! (das us in the last photo of my photoset)

TSM played really well against P1. Oh, and let’s not forget that drink that Hauntzer spilled LOL. This matchup was really conflicting for me because in the particular matchup between TSM and P1 I’m a bigger fan of TSM and I wanted them to win, but if P1 won that mean C9 would take first place so it was like...AHHH CONFLICTING FEELINGS.

When I took the group photo, Bjerg said hellooo to me and I was like helloo. If you look back at the group photos Sven is blinking...they took two photos and Sven was blinking in BOTH pictures OTL. Then after the group pictures, they had to leave quickly so I didn’t have much time to take selfies. I quickly found my favorite boy from TSM, Biofrost <3 and took a selfie with him. THE CAMERA ANGLE AND LIGHTING IS SO BAD BUT I DON’T CARE IT’S BIOFROST AND I’M HAPPY

FLY vs TL

Oh god. I just wanted both teams to have fun, as usual. I think I’m just slightly more of a Flyquest fan because I loved old C9, and also because I LOVE MOON. Fortunately after game 2 Flyquest won enough to get to playoffs, so in the 3rd game I was hoping TL would win so they would avoid relegations. Flyquest ended up winning, so I was a little happy for them, but maaan I felt so bad for Team Liquid T.T

Anyways, it came time for the fan meet. And oh god, it was so painful to see TL out there. They looked incredibly depressed :(. Lourlo and Piglet seemed to be the saddest out of everyone, I really hope they cheer up ;_; Even taking the picture with them, I felt so weird because they were just so sad. You can tell they couldn’t even smile for the photos T.T

After the group photos, I didn’t want to inconvenience TL too much because of the loss, but I did just quickly ask Reignover to say hello in a video to @reignover and @yinglol, because I know how much they love Reignover xD It’s just a short little 4 second video, but hopefully it made their day.

With Flyquest, can we just take a moment to appreciate how smol Balls is? Someone gave him a flower crown to wear and he kept it on for my group photo, IM BLESSED.

After the group photos, finally, @liquidhunny and I went up to Moon. If you guys don’t know, she worked REALLY hard on a gift to give to moon which was made up of a fan art poster, a customized hat just for Moon, and I little notebook filled with notes and letters from fans. (Here’s here tumblr post about her gift)

Anyways, we went up to Moon and she told him about the presents and gave it to him. Moon said it was so awesome, and then Hunny asked “Can I take a selfie with you?” and then Moon was like, “Can I hug you?” AND SHE WAS SHOOK AND I WAS SHOOK FOR HER!!! Moon hugged her, and I was so happy for her, and then Moon hugged me and i was shOOK like A;OWFEIAEWF I DONT DESERVE THIS BUT THANK YOU. You’re actually not supposed to hug the fans during the fan meet, but we didn’t even ask to hug him, HE asked Hunny if he could hug her and also hugged me!!! Ahh this was all so touching, and he’s such a nice guy.

I told Moon that he was like my FAAAVORITEE and I love his jungling and everything. Ahh. And HIS EYES ARE SO BEAUTIFUL ok I say this about like every pro but seriously they’re like green-hazel and just so pretty...??? That was the last pro interaction I had and it was just so great to end the day meeting my favorite player.

At the end of the event, we all took a group picture with the backgrop.

League/LCS brings people together and I’m so happy about that :D

Final Thoughts:

Overall, I had sooo much fun. It was super nice meeting @liquidhunny and all the pros.

One thing that I want to state is that: I expected that meeting all the pros would be very...perfect and happy? Idk how to explain it much, but, the reality is, pros are very, very human. Unfortunately, the losing team can get very sad, and it’s heartbreaking to see them in that state. But that’s the way that the pro scene works. Also, meeting these people in real life, you could really tell which people care about their fans a lot and are just really warm, kind, friendly, and genuine people on the inside (like I mentioned that I saw that Sneaky is like this, as well as many others). I don’t want to say or judge that the people that didn’t appear as warm as Sneaky or interact with fans much are bad people, because like I said, pros are very human and you’ll never know if they could just be having a bad day or are really down after a loss.

Also, I’m lowkey facing withdrawal LOL especially Biofrost withdrawal currently bc he was so adorable and honestly I should have looked at him more on stage >///<

Wowow what a long post and a fun weekend! I actually have the BTS concert next weekend MY HEART CAN’T TAKE THIS IT’S ALREADY BEEN DESTROYED OVER THE WEEKEND AND I’M NOT PREPARED!! AHHH!!

good morning i opened tumblr and it told me that my pictures from prom many years ago were taken down for being adult content and im screaming

look at me, actually writing on a sunday. aren’t you proud?

i have so much to tell you about! long post ahead!

GUESS what is comin up!! my birthday!! my bday is on tuesday the 15th and i am so stoked. still young enough to where birthdays are exciting. if possible, i’d like to know if you’re still here.. if you made the move to this blog with me. last year, you posted a playlist on my birthday. if nothing else, could you do that again this year please? I really love your music taste, so i’d love to have some new music from you on tuesday. maybe with some blue emoji or smth so i know its for me. but if not or if you’re feeling extra fancy... perhaps a selfie? or maybe a lil snippet of you singing? and if you want to erase all my doubts about you not being here.. a snippet of you singing my favorite song, hey there delilah, would melt my heart and chase away every inkling of a doubt. or a selfie with like....... idk? your hand.. somewhere in the frame. I’m blanking on specific ideas. but do smth with your hand i guess. that’s if you want to, of course. i’m honestly just listing things i would love for my birthday.. things you could get away with. if you’re still here. if you’re still waitin for me. i sure hope you are... bc i’m still here for you. i’m down to make this work. i miss you.

i have such a busy week ahead of me. and on top of it all, the weather has been giving me terrible allergies. it’s not brutally cold like it was this time last year (we’ve gotten no snow yet! which is a good thing given the fact that i live on the coast in southeastern georgia) but its been everything else. cold, hot, rainy, windy, sunny, you name it. and the changes of weather have been brutal for my poor lil body. but i’ve got cedar-scented candles burnin and a cup of coffee in my hand so i feel pretty good. Plus I always feel good on sundays. It’s the Lord’s day.

I’m currently waiting for the rain to stop so I can walk over to a coffeeshop.. i’m going to a further one than the normal one bc the normal one is packed out the door on sundays due to their brunch menu and raging popularity with SCAD students. there’s another one closer as well but I’m opting for the 0.7 mile walk each way because I need to get some fresh air and exercise today!

But as far as how I’m doing... much better. I was having struggles with work but the other day they announced that they’re going to have hot food in the break room for employees all day so now I’m stoked. Is it bad that free food motivated me enough to not quit my job? I’m a simple gal. I like good food, and I like not paying for it.

Also my friend has super smash bros ultimate, and whenever I have time I go play 1v1 with him to hone my skills. I beat him last week for the first time ever. he’s really good. so i felt REALLY good about that. you’ve never mentioned playing smash before but I like knowing I’m hella good at video games so I can DESTROY you. blue heart emoji.

and i got through my first week of classes! they seem promising! not tooooo difficult yet, and the timings work out nicely, because I can go to the gym every day during the week! i’m getting back in shape bro. i’m taking this semester by the HORNS.

oh, and jae, happy 1mil on twitter! that’s awesome!!! i’m so proud of you! keep being inspirational and lifting the lives and spirits of so many people! oh and that oneus album is DOPE. its just mainstream EDM, which I’m always glad to see you getting into. Hopefully this gateways you into real EDM. great recommendation! thank u kanye, very cool!

oh and i joined a dance group again FINALLY! it’s “fusion” dance as she calls it, which is exactly what i’ve done my whole life... a blend of jazz, lyrical, modern, and ballet. i can’t go to practice monday bc of work but i have blocked off mondays since then so ill be able to make them all. i’m so excited to dance again.

i think that’s all i’ve got to say right now. my cousin comes in tonight and is gonna be here all week. we’re supposed to be filming a music video but i’m having difficulty with the scheduling atm. i have a meeting with the crew later today to discuss it all. wish me luck.
