I've never liked a fic enough to return to one so idk fic etiquette from a reader's perspective, if there is any.. Are ppl who really like one of my fics going to be pissed that I've started 2 new ones without updating their favorite? Like, is there a point at which I have to churn out a chapter for a fic I'm not feeling inspired by.. To avoid a shitlist.. Idk
#they're all different series and evenly split btwn ff and mf#it's the mf ones i haven't updated in a while#idk i've kind of been assuming for years i can just use ao3 as dumping grounds for writing that feels finished enough#like 2 of my fics began as original stories and i just input characters from series that made sense bc i wanted to share my writing with pp#and ao3 is great for that but only if it's attached to ppl's blorbos obviously#but it's kind of occurred to me like am i being a bad ao3 user? am i neglecting a social contract
