Since the ending of bnha, I've never understood why some people are so vehemently against Izuku being quirkless again. It allowed this perfect callback to the very first chapter:

And also, he ends up being a hero anyway. Sure, he doesn't have a super strength quirk + other quirks to go with it anymore, but didn't you guys ever get the feeling that that was a "too good to be true" moment? I never expected him to keep One For All, tbh. I think it's great that he can be a quirkless hero because, in the first place, he wanted to know if he could be a hero, even though he's quirkless. I didn't ever want the final answer to that question to be, "no, you have to get a special generational quirk passed down to you first so that you are no longer quirkless."

If he's successful, lots of hero schools will probably end up funding those suits for quirkless students or students who have "weaker" quirks, who also want to work as combat heroes.

Sooo who do you like the most out if the bnha characters?

That angry blond bonobo guy is the most infuriating so far, but as a character I'd say he's also the most interesting. I like that he's a shithead, but not just like 'I'm a bad person so I do bad shit', but 'I do bad shit because I obviously have some internal issues going on that I'm beginning to confront'.

I think compared to all the other characters I've seen (I'm on episode ten), he's the most complex and intriguing, even if he is an asshole. I'm really excited to see if they take full advantage and let him grow.

Deku on the other hand is sort of the polar opposite, and that irritates me. I like that he has cowardly moments, but it seems like sort of a smokescreen to cover up how he doesn't really have anything else going on. He's literally just... good. He's good and he's determined, so things go his way. The end.

Even (SPOILERS) the way he ends up with his powers. The one, primary interesting thing about him was that he had the SPIRIT of a hero, but lacked the one thing that other "heroes" were BORN INTO. I feel like if he'd stayed powerless and found other ways to be a hero, it would have been a more interesting plot, and, frankly, a better story than "if you try hard to be a good person, the universe will find a way to magically make you special, because you HAVE to be special, because ordinary people are weak and hopeless."

He really is a mary-sue. And I'm not saying that that's a bad thing, just that it isn't particularly challenging in a way that it might have been if used as a tool to discuss how, truly, some are born into unfair advantages and others have to find their own success.

Eraserhead is an interesting character, too. On one hand, he's very blasé and shitty, and on the other, he very obviously cares deeply about his role in society. It makes me want to know why he is the way he is, what his motivations are, how he developed the opinions he has.

Power Guy- Rabbit hair dude, muscle man, whatever he was called- I want to like him. It's interesting, how his "hero" form seems like a parasite, leeching away whatever identity he had BEFORE he received his power. What kind of person was he like? What interests did he have? Who were his friends, family, loved ones? As a hero, now, it seems like his entire identity is molded around whether or not he's doing enough good. He has an identity crises when he can't. If he permanently lost his power, if he really and truly could not transform anymore, would he grow as a person? Would he be happier? Or would he let himself stagnate and wither away?

Infinity girl is not getting the rep she deserves. She's kind, but in a calm, assured way that Deku isn't, and without the preachy monologuing. She's helpful, and sweet, and has her own weaknesses. I feel like out of all the heroes, she would be the most successful without powers, because she has an identity beyond them. She knows who she is, not just what she is. I really wish she'd get more screen action outside of 'shoehorned love interest'.

Weirdly, I have a lot of similar complaints over the treatment of Deku's mom.

Revising my bnha /ninjago crossover au that im now gonna name the 'Mistakes made Au'

i cant remember who it was but someone has the hc where basically the reason the FSM and his descendants have such bad luck is because the cloud kingdom is mad and a bit scared that FSM's family seem to be 'destiny defiers' at times, so they constantly make bad things happen to them.

So yeah im yoinking that for this au except with my own twist of sorts.

Ok so this takes place after s5 in which after discovering that the cloud kingdom guy tried to sell the ninja out, the rest of the cloud kingdom look into the guy to try and see whatelse he's messed with (or maybe they write in his scroll that he confessed to everything he did and that's just how trials work in the cloud kingdom ?)

Anyways they cant change whats been written so characters that were never supposed to be villains (Garmadon, Morro and Haurmi to be exact) instead of going to the afterlife (yes harumi actually died in this au) get asked if they'd like to have a second chance somewhere else since theyre first life was botched.

They all say yes.

They all come into this new workd differently idk why yet maybe the cloud kingdom did what they thought the recipients would like best, maybe different authors write each one idk.

But anyways Garmadon wakes up in an apartment with the basic knowlege of this world in his head and a note saying that everything was payed for the next few months but after that he's on his own.

He ends up working at McDonald's or something until he saves up enough to open his own self defense/martial arts dojo. One that doesn't allow quirk discrimination of any kind. He also gets several online degrees on psychology.

Harumi is reborn as Hatsume Mei's twin with her memories intact and she is quirkless but her family doesn't care and after seeing how the quirkless are treated she decides to become a hero that will open it own agency and school specifically for quirkless/'weak quirked' people.

And then morro wakes up as a like 5 or 6yo to this random family that abandons him for having a 'dangerous quirk' but gets adopted by inko and is now the older brother of Izuku midoriya.

Morro does think izuku can be a hero because he has the kindness that morro didn't and so he trains him (not as hard as Wu did him but morro definitely didn't go easy on Izuku)

Morro also doesnt stand how the bakugo's treat izuku or eachother so katsuki and his fam are a bit more chill.

However since homeschooling isnt legal in japan (yes that's actually true I just looked it up) and they can't exactly afford to switch schools or sue they have to suck it up, bakugo helps with bully's when he can and Morro and Inko do however document everything.

A few years before UA Izuku decides he wants to clean up diagoba beach.

So morro and izuku devise a plan to organize a big clean up for it

they meet Harumi and Mei there becuase Mei wanted dibs on any scraps despite the fact that their parents can buy them any parts she wants.

Then it turns out that harumi and izuku alreayd knew eachother from a quirkless forum/website that they were both on.

So they excange numbers and Izuku jumps on the chance to join harumi in becoming quirkless hero's together and making a free of discrimination hero school with Mei as their weapons/costume designer.

Morro dodoesn'tnow how but he ends up training harumi too, who recognizes his moves as spinjistu but keeps it to herself because unsurprisingly she's not sure how to ask him if he's from another world.

Izuku sees that a new dojo has opened up that takes quirkless students and suggests him and harumi train there.

Morro and harumi are skeptical but agree and morro amd inko go with them just in case.

The when they get inside the harumi and morro just freeze because 'oh crap is that my uncle/the guy I revived the evil part of and wanted to adopt me?'

Garmadon freezes aswell when he sees morro (he however doesn't know harumi)

But they all brush t off as a coincidence. I mean theres no way anyone else was goven a second chance or if they were theres no way they were all put in the same world right? Right?

So they all act like nothings going on until izuku does some ninjitzu moves that morro taught him and garmadon is like "oh my gosh that is my nephew"

later harumi uses her coding skills that she has thanks to being a hats u me and creates a private group chat thing for the 3 of them that only they can use.

Harumi and morro both explain what theuve done to lloyd and express some regret and garmadon is really pissed but decides to forgive them because 1. If they were here that meant it was partly the cloud kingdoms fault 2. They're both children and were also children in ninjago. And 3. their trying to change just like him so as the adult (or at least the only adult from ninjago that they know of) he should probably try and set a good example right?

Though just becuase he understands and forgives them doesnt mean hes not still upset that they hurt his son, but it is nice to be able to talk fully about ninjago and thier traumas and make jokes that no one else would get an eventually he warms up to them.

anyways they all agree thay izuku is gonna be an amazing hero and decided to team up to make sure that happens no matter what

when does a relationship become queerbaiting? theres a book that i really like and the 2 male leads characters have a lot of storylines and arcs where they get closer and i think some of the tropes used can be similar to the typical romantic tropes, neither of them end up with anyone at the end of the story since its more about found family and the long journey the whole cast goes through. they even get shipped by another character as a running gag. personally i always saw it as being open to interpretation but recently the revised edition of the original novel came out and there were several lines those 2 characters had about each other that were kinda toned down, i didnt think much of it but i saw a post about how it was clearly baiting and the author was being homophobic for toning it down. i didnt think it counted as baiting since as far as i know, the novel was never advertised as anything with romance and the author never pretended they were gonna end up together. i am definitely a little weirded out by the decision to change those specific lines but a lot of the story stayed the same, including a lot about their relationship so idk what to think.

i guess im more confused on if it counts as baiting, or even substext??

Sooooo I am not the best person to ask about this, because I’m a cis woman who has thus far in life only been attracted in a romantic sense to cis men. I can talk a bit about baiting as a general concept in fiction, but you should definitely take it with some grains of salt. 

Baiting, for me, is like deliberately playing up an aspect writers have no intention on delivering on. Usually this is done for ratings, to tease fans, fanservice, etc, but without payoff, it is just bad writing. Red herrings are good in writing, but only can be successfully used if the actual result is more satisfying than the herring. This applies to writing in general, not just to romantic ships. However, when the baiting involves historically underrepresented groups for no reason other than to get fans to spend money consuming the story, I think we can all agree that becomes something more grotesque than just bad writing: it’s insensitive, socially irresponsible, frankly hurtful. 

Some common examples are Bridgerton which has a gay character, who is extremely minor, yet they played up this character in advertising. Also, Rizzoli and Isles I think actually had its producers mention deliberately playing up the lesbian subtext to hook the audience without ever intending on following through. 

That said, context also matters. Like, there are aspects of the culture of the work’s author, the target audience, and such that come into play here also (so like, romantic tropes differ by culture. For example, enemies to lovers is common in Asian stories but less in the west, and the “girl who pursues a guy” is extremely common in Japanese shonen in particular, while it is very much a cringe trope that almost never results in romance in American fiction. So if a writer reads, say, tropes that are common in America into a Japanese work and says it’s baiting, that’s quite possibly not the intent even if it may have been the experience of the reader. So even if there was no intent, there can still be hurt, and that hurt can be real, if that makes sense. 

The definition of what constitutes ‘baiting’ varies. I do think that, in true Tumblr fashion, the term gets thrown around a lot and loses its intended meaning, or is so rigidly defined that creators can meet the letter of the “not a bait” requirement while ignoring the spirit of it.

To start with the latter: regarding something hitting the letter of what most wouldn’t consider baiting yet not really the spirit, let’s look at The Rise of Skywalker. This movie had a genuine lesbian kiss in it... between two characters we’d never seen more than a glimpse of while others are celebrating around them. Since it has a kiss, it’s not baiting, right? Well... the director deliberately said in the lead-up to the film that he included it because he “wanted LGBT people to see themselves in the film.” If “see yourselves in the film” is like a nanosecond of background, then, like... idk. Baiting or not, it feels icky, and I know some people consider it baiting and some don’t even if they don’t like, love that representation. But I think this is more queerbaiting than like, Nobara and Maki, who don’t have explicit romantic coding. 

Going back to the former, in terms of ‘queerbaiting’ losing its intended meaning... I think there are a lot of really poorly written romantic ships out there, often het, while a lot of same-gender relationships are really well written regardless of whether there’s romantic coding within the text. The main emotional energy in stories with 90% male characters (as frankly many if not most stories are, great job world) is probably between two men. There’s just so much more potential with well-written characters who share a lot of screen time, so of course people are going to ship them. In my opinion, this does not inherently make it baiting, but it certainly creates an environment that lends itself to baiting even if the writers aren’t intending to do this. 

Like, you could say the main emotional energy in BNHA is Bakugou and Deku. However, Bakudeku is 100% not queerbaiting. It’ll never be canon romantically (I don’t even ship it lol). There has been nothing to imply romance between them even if the main emotional message can be seen in their development. Deku/Ochaco is likely to be canon, but there is a significant lack of genuine emotional energy between them (the story’s plots and themes don’t coalesce around their relationship), so it’s probably going to feel forced. In contrast, Naruto/Sasuke had an actual kiss in canon, which while played for laughs is a lot more direct romantic coding than anything between Bakugou/Deku. I actually don’t think the majority of Narusasu is baiting, but I definitely think that one moment in chapter like 3 was really poor fanservice for yaoi fans, and has not aged well at all. 

It is also the case that fans can confuse headcanons with what is actually in the text, and that just never ends well. For example, Clover and Qrow’s ship in RWBY: a lot of people read Clover as gay, which led to “bury your gays” outrage when he died. A member of the crew stated explicitly they had never intended for Clover to be a love interest for Qrow, and truthfully here was nothing strictly romantic in their relationship--nothing like a kiss or a declaration of love or a parallel to another romantic couple. Hence, I don’t personally consider it queerbaiting or bury your gays, but a lot of fans felt that it was and their pain is legitimate even if I think textually the argument isn’t there. The one thing I do think is true about this in particular is that there was also no strict platonic coding, which encourages headcanons. Clear writing, yo. It can help. 

Note the word “can” not “will,” because strict platonic coding doesn’t always fix things, either. In what was probably a reaction to the outrage over Clover’s death, you had extremely blatant platonic coding of Ruby and Penny’s relationship this season leading up to Penny’s death. Ruby refers to Penny as “our friend” three different times, wherein “friend” sends a platonic message and “our” sends an even stronger message that it’s not about the two of them despite the fact that their friendship is one of the sweetest and most interesting in the show. A lingering Ruby-Penny hug then is followed by a lingering Penny-Weiss hug, then Yang, then Blake, etc. The writers went out of their way to hit people over the head with “platonic” and yet they have still gotten accusations of bury your gays and queerbaiting because people will see what they want to see in a story. 

Seeing what you want to see in a story also isn’t inherently bad. People who are underrepresented are going to have to read themselves into stories because Lord knows writers ain’t incorporating them well enough if at all. It’s why “Mary Sues” are common in fanfiction, which is primarily written by people who are not straight white men: because where the hell else are we to see ourselves in fiction? So essentially the macrocosm of culture creates this problem, both in terms of baiting and the misuse of the term, and the only fix is a shit ton more good representation.

anyways: two trains of thought, the non-curse user reader being able to see mahito is something that i think in canon can be explained by reader going through something super traumatic and horrible thus possessing a lot of cursed energy and being able to see curses. like i wish jjk went more into the semantics of sorcery and curses but thags the best i have to work with so i like the idea of down bad!reader stumbling into mahito and not being afraid if he kills them. unlikely dynamic to happen but mahito maybe saw the first person he knew try to take their own life or whatever and gets interested. that’s the small train of thought i have

1) Tell us about your current project(s)  – what’s it about, how’s progress, what do you love most about it?

okay so ig i have four current projects rn? technically more but i only really count em if i plan on posting the wip soon or they're chaptered fics ig 🤷‍♀️ if its apart of a series of mine then really i dont call it current unless ive already started a draft for the next part, i sideline my series' constantly bc most of the fics are fine to read by themselves anyways uhmmm lol moving on, a mini run down of my current projects:

mellodramattic fic: chaptered piece about mello and matt's relationship thru the years, probably gonna turn it into a series once i finish the main piece bc there's definetly ideas i wanna include that I probably cant in the main story. progress on it is fine ig, I have the next chapter mostly drafted (by hand, i need to type it still) i just update really slow bc it's an old hyperfixation of mine so i really only get bursts of motivation for it every like 3-5 months, sometimes longer. i just really enjoy writing this one bc i can basically make up whatever i want about the characters bc there is very little actual canon material for them and, as a matt kinnie, i have a very specific vision of their lives that ive always wanted to e riu te about and i finally started doing that with this fic. there's a few chapters on ao3 rn, but they arent stellar bc it's old writing lmao. ill link it (and any of these other fics i mention) if anyone asks

bnha chat fic: a mess, has 16 chapters rn, it's a lot of chaos ft a side of me projecting. it has slow updates now bc im out of my bnha hyperfixation, but i still love writing this fic, even if i regret some of my past writing decisions with it. next 2 chapters are half drafted, but idk when ill actually get em out. it's been 8 months since i last updated anyways, so whatever. one of the chapters is chat, the other is actual writing bc ig this fic is technically like a combination of chat and regular fic, but it's mostly chat so 🤷‍♀️

karlnapity wip: i started this fic 6 months ago and just recently started working on it again?? i plan to upload it in the near future but also idk if that will actually happen bc im not actually invested in either karl or sapnaps lore which makes me very uninvested in writing this fic lmao. the wip is kinda banger tho imo, very angsty but it has comfort so its okay.

it chat fic: i know vaguely what i wanna do with the next chapter but i havent uploaded for this bitch in so long its criminal. it's literally just a modern au losers club chat fic, everybody's gay, streddie are in love and that's really the only reason im writing it, plus i made stozier have tiktok clout which i think is too funny of an idea to drop, sue me. also it's a stranger things crossover, but only bc i wanted to make richie and mike twins bc i read a different crossover fic that did the same thing right before writing this and i was brainrotting the fic too hard not to include this twin shit in my own. im unoriginal, what can i say.

8) Is what you like to write the same as what you like to read?

generally, yes, though i think i write more angst than i tend to read? i wouldnt call myself an angst writer at all, but i tend to project and i really like writing emotional spirals or trauma related stuff bc ooooh coping mechanisms babey but it's always paired with comfort whether its immediate or eventual. i also write more chat fics than i read, mostly bc it's a good way for me to write about a hyperfixation without actually having to have good ideas or be very dedicated to the piece, especially bc i hate not finishing chaptered fics, but i tend to do it a lot when i lose a hyperfixation (for example, i have had a 1/? fic in my works for like a year, maybe two, now all bc i stopped hyperfixating on bnha like a week or two after that, and bc it was Real Writing i havent had the energy to update it, meanwhile ive updated the bnha chat fic a few times since losing that hyperfixation bc it's very low effort content) idk i think most of it's the same typa content in the end tho

For the muses that you currently have on this blog, what made you decide on each of them over every other possible character within each series' canon? Are there other characters you're considering for future additions to your multi?

Oh, boy this gonna be long. But important here most muses I picked are character type I haven’t played in a long time or are new so I was pretty much nervous for all of them to play.

new muses hmm...I had a bnha oc in mind, idk if I still wanna pick up. I would like a Pokemon muse tbh, preferable a OC - its kinda icky cause I already know people probably won’t interact. I consider Kindachi once, i still might, there is another hq character to I wanna look into eventually. They're probably more not gonna lie, but it been a while I checked other games or rewatched some series.

Yamaguchi - Honestly? I don’t even how I got attached to him, I actually didn’t really notice him much within S1 until I rewatched it. But a shy sweet guy with self-esteem issue? I had to, especially with the last part. All my muses have this as it is something I can relate too. I originally also planned Tsukki as you know be I’m glad I went with Yamaguchi instead. 

Tendou - Again, I dunno. He was just a character I ended up liking, a lot. His quirky behavior and everything. Also with this past being bullied? It also reminded me a lot of Shinsou even if Tendou goes in a different direction. Also, the first time I played such a character so I was pretty nervous picking him up. I miss writing to him, he got a lot of attention before Kiri took over. 

Takeda -  When I first watched Haikyuu..he and Ukai were like, the only characters who truly interested me ironically, it took a few rewatches for me to get attached to the kids. Both of them, I had a muse for, ideas and headcanons - everything. I didn’t add either of them right away as I didn’t though people would be interested in writing them. I ended up going with Takeda as I saw more Ukai’s around, he reminds me a lot of my old homeroom teacher which serves as inspiration like the two sisters' headcanon. 

Kirishima - Ironically...Kiribaku fics, and I dunno how. I read and suddenly it clicks, even if I was very nervous writing him for a long time as it been a while I wrote such happy go lucky Characters. It helps that Kirishima still has his own issues underneath, yes I have a thing for muses with self-esteem issues sue me. Now, his muses is living in my head rent-free and he doesn’t want to leave any time soon.

Tamaki - S4 aired and I got attached to this shy blop, strong character yet shy and a bit taken back. There is not much of an explanation.

Deku - Midoriya is one of my favs, even if currently is a bit dying down, which I blame some fans more of. Mainly inspired by an au I send you but currently, his muse is pretty much dead so I consider replacing him for another bnha chara eventually. 

Therion - I already played him on my old multi, I love him. He falls right in the character type I enjoy and love writing. Cold, stoic, difficult past and yet with a carrying side to himself. I missed writing him and while writing him is limited as the rpc for this game is nonexistence and I dunno how to make UA so people write with him...I’m glad having him here on my multi if I can play him only in between. He used to be my main muse of my former multi and the only one I actually missed writing from there. 

Robin - FireEmblem Warriors, it just clicked. And I need to get out of my old rpc. Robin is an Avatar you kinda have control over what they do, their reason I picked them up, I talked about alot on my old blog...by now,I shaped them totally into my interpretation for them, I have an OC based on them. I only have them here for like 2 or so friends. I have no desir interacting with the fe rpc anymore and I already can tell should one specific person decide to leave? I will replace Robin for mention OC.

If I may ask, what are those BNHA AUs that you probably won't write about?

Ah, I think I’ve mentioned one of them on here before? I love Time Travel fics and feel like they’re kinda underutilized other than as an excuse to kinda Mary Sue a character, so I wanted one for BNHA! The idea was that Izuku in the future isn’t the number one hero, because the hero system relies of heroes eliminating the largest number of villains or ending the maximum number of situations in the shortest time period. Since in canon there’s some mention of the “quirk singularity” and kids beginning to not see people weaker than them as people anymore, I figured I’d make a future hero world where the number one hero is Baku due to raw ‘power’, but him and the other OP 1-A kids have begun to lose their way a bit in the posturing and superiority of their position. Izuku winds up working with Aizawa as an underground hero, intentionally skirting the hero system so he can get at redeemable villains or unstable civilians before heroes who would arrest them, then recruiting them as vigilantes or helping them hide their power. In a situation that is WAY over his head, a kid has recently manifested a time quirk like Eri’s and Izuku manages to get them to chill out long enough for an extraction. His partner winds up startling them though…so Izuku gets dumped back at the training camp. 

The idea was really fun for me because it had a somewhat disenchanted Izuku who had a very different relationship with one of his teachers and with underground heroes in general. He still loves heroes and heroism, is still an idealist, but he’s not too sure how to work within the system that currently exists and it’s made him a bit bitter at himself and, perhaps undeservingly, at Baku. I also had Dabi as one of his main informants in the future and someone he was desperately trying to bring over to his side despite hating him (considering Dabi irredeemable after he begins committing murders like he is implied to in canon). Meeting Dabi again during the training camp is bizarre for him, because this Dabi hasn’t gone too far yet, but Izuku still kindof wants to kick his ass? Kick his ass and make him into a hero?? So Izuku preys on Dabi’s need to protect those that heroes won’t protect - to protect children especially - as essentially tries to trick Dabi into helping Aizawa out. He has…mixed success. He also accidentally makes Shigaraki start thinking a lot smarter than intended.

Idk, it keeps the core of Izuku as a character (loves heroes and heroism, idealist, convinced of his own weaknesses, intolerant of poor morals, analytical) while shifting all of his relationships pretty dramatically in ways that I think would show off some more complex aspects of other characters. I thought it’d be especially cool to see a retired All Might whole-heartedly supporting ‘barely a hero’ Izuku as his successor as the entire hero world is like ??? the old man has lost his mind. 

The other idea was a spin on the whole “Izuku has a quirk that is a mutation of his parents”. I LOVE the fics that intentionally give Izuku a weird quirk and then slowly make it more powerful by utilizing his analytical abilities - minor banishment was a really entertaining one. I wanted to invert the whole “minor attraction” quirk into “minor repulsion”. I wanted Izuku to repel, on a minor scale, attention! It’s not very strong, but as long as he uses psychological warfare, he can render himself completely invisible in a fight! He render OTHER people invisible by just making OTHER things more interesting relative to himself. By the time he enters UA he realizes his quirk isn’t repulsion of interest, but is actually ATTRACTION of it. He’s just attracting interest in anything other than himself. 

Anyway he uses it to become a student at UA despite failing the exam. He takes part in every exercise despite no one really realizing he is there (since they don’t expect him to be), and even befriends some other students in 1-B that never talk about him because ??? why would they, only to finally be exposed during the USJ incident. He gets One for All and it becomes a KILLER combo that have people shook.

It’s full of accurate historical references PLUS more characterization for everybody! It feels like an actual season for the show. Updates pretty often

A Chorus of Requiems by ultimatequesadilla - JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure parts 1-5 so SPOILERS FOR ALL OF THEM okay Jotaro keeps an arrow in his desk and Okayasu finds it and convinces Josuke to let him shoot it at a tree. Bad idea. Jotaro completely loses it half of the time because...you’ll see. Both serious and undeniably funny. Not sure when this updates honestly it was supposed to be every week I think??

“A God Walked Into the Office” and other bad jokes by oatmealcrisp - Mob Psycho 100/The Disasterous Life of Saiki K.

Originally supposed to be a bunch of one-shots but now there’s an overarching plot. Saiki starts working for Reigen. Takes place after MP100 season 2 and the end of Saiki K. (Ignoring the last few episodes) It has drawings for each chapter. A healthy dose of fluff and angst. The next chapter is coming soon, she’s been having problems with quarantine and such

The Lion’s Den (series) by Arcawolf - Danganronpa 1-3. Super depressing and Nagito ruins everything. After DR1 Makoto gets kidnapped by Ultimate Despair and tries to escape and change their lives. Izuru Kamukura is the best bro in this one. I think it updates every...two weeks? Not certain

DanganRonpa 69 by lenardd - Looks like a troll, sounds like a troll, is aCTUALLY SERIOUS. Takes place presumably after DR1 and 2 so spoilers for both and possibly the anime. It’s vague. Each chapter has MULTIPLE pieces of artwork and the mysterys are well-written! Plus the executions ARE VIDEOS. Fic is full of angst and a bit of blood also I don’t know where the author is right now which is understandable in these trying times

Ultimate Hope and the Symbol of Peace by RoarOfTheLion - My Hero Academia/Danganronpa crossover. Spoilers for every DR and I think BnHA all the way up to season four or five?? Izuru Kamukura attends UA. At first it’s your standard, you know, retelling/mashup of both stories BUT THEN in the sequel everything goes off the deep end, in a good way of course. Then it follows its own plot and it’s fabulous.

ANYTHING BY RedPen this person makes visualizing a scene super easy, with a bunch a good ideas. Hard to explain but it’s superb

Forewarned is Forearmed by VampireBadger - Persona 4/Persona 5. Akira lives with Dojima through the events of P4. These chapters are long and it updates pretty fast. Author needs to take a break. Can’t say anything else to spoil it

In Living Memory by Ziracona - Dead by Daylight. Don’t be intimidated by the word count, or do I don’t know. It is, and I quote, “longer than the entirety of The Lord of the Rings books” 1.5m words of the survivors trying do...Wait that’s already a spoiler. I don’t like ships much so I try to ignore them. Outmatched by the dynamic of the survivors plus the plot. very VERY VERY bloody mostly because of Freddy Kruger. The ships here are (Nea/Feng, Jake/Dwight, Meg/Susie, implied Jane/Ace and Jane/Tapp it’s unclear, implied Philip/Vigo) which I don’t care for but the story is good. Completed a couple months ago.
