anyways, the game does acknowledge that both jesse and lisbeth are into MC ! but the way it's worded would make more sense if MC hasn't been pursuing him at all, like idk why my girl is so confused. i literally picked the "reveal that you've always fancied him" option before leaving the villa 😭

party time ! i chose to dance with lisbeth, and then there's a diamond scene with dean spilling the tea in the most obnoxious way possible. moving swiftly on

then there’s some more grafting on the guys, i really enjoyed the scenes. afterwards we reach the point where we’re forced to pick a casa guy. i like all of them but they're just gonna be a placeholder for me. i used a number generator and got a 1, so caleb it is !

overall, we're at the point of the story where everything starts taking a complete nosedive. call it the casa curse, i guess. and to make matters worse, a bunch of the worst plotlines from previous seasons have been reused, this is certainly the season of all time 😃 but for real, the only upside to this volume is that we could spend a lot of time with lisbeth ❤️ (and for me that's pretty much the only positive thing about us not being a casa girl) also, caleb's such a sweetheart, he deserves the world ❤️

14. Worst game you’ve ever played?

ooo this one’s tough…realistically, the worst game I’ve ever played is probably some low-budget knockoff wii game I played as a kid or something LMFAOO but I feel like that’s a predictable answer on my part. I feel like I’ve had pretty good luck with games I end up playing, I’m really picky so usually I just. Refuse to pick up a game at all if it doesn’t look interesting lmfaoo. I will say though….the two games I most regret purchasing are Fire Emblem Engage & Pokemon Scarlet 😭 they aren’t the worst games ever by any means but. They were both 60 bucks and I never play them. Very devastating for my measly bank account 😢 ALSO tbf I feel like the reason I dislike Fire Emblem Engage is bc I want another Fire Emblem game to kind of go along the same layout of Three Houses…not a direct copy obviously but Three Houses was just so good. It’s so good in fact that any time I play any other Fire Emblem game that ISN’T Three Houses I’m like….🫤 LMFAOO which I know isn’t a very good mindset for me to have and I should stop comparing them so heavily but…alas. BUT I suppose I can’t even really give Engage a proper rating since I haven’t finished it. Idk I just didn’t really care for the storyline or characters but that’s just me personally.

21. A game you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving?

There’s actually quite a few where this has happened!! There’s been a plethora of games I’ve seen on Steam or in a store and I’ll look it over and be like “ehhh this really doesn’t look like my thing…but it has good ratings…and it’s under my recommended…” and then I’ll usually set it off to the side, and once I get really incredibly bored I’ll cave in and buy it just to give me something to do LMAOO. Needy Streamer Overload was one where I was very skeptic about at first, but I actually really ended up enjoying it (I especially love the soundtrack!) and also World of Horror! I remember seeing people say it was boring and the game mechanics looked so overwhelming so I put off buying it forever, but I finally got it a few weeks ago and it’s probably my fav horror game of all time now. I’m mentally kicking myself for avoiding it so avidly for so long! I don’t find it boring at all, I love games that are built to be replayed as many times as you want. It was funny though bc when I first started playing I was so confused..had me staring at the screen like ☹️ LMFAOO I WAS ACTUALLY BEFUDDLED. But after a few playthroughs it ends up being easy to understand which I am very thankful for. ALSO. Slay the Princess!! Another one I avoided for a while for..honestly idek why. But oh my GODDD I LOVE SLAY THE PRINCESS WOOO YAYYY 🎉 slay the princess honestly was such a crazy surreal experience idek how to describe it. It’s so awesome. It’s coming out on the Switch w a 200 dollar collectors addition thingy and oh my god. Bro. I am DEVASTATED at my lack of funds 😭😭 I actually have to put it out of my mind bc if I think abt it excessively I get really sad 💔 ANYWAYYYSS SHOUTOUT TO SLAY THE PRINCESS 🗣️🗣️ so wonderfully made, beautiful artwork, stunning music…omg. Also grotesque at times but in a way that’s just so fundamentally different and unique? If that makes sense? It’s all so meaningful and connected and they manage to express so many emotions throughout a playthrough. I’ve got every achievement and I’m so happy I gave it a shot :) OH. Also One Shot! One Shot is great…oh my goodness. Woaw. This is making me realize how overly skeptical I am about every game I ever purchase in the history of ever LMFAOO why am I so overly critical 💀 like why do I always have to mull it over for months smh 😭

As of right now, no. Not routinely, anyways. I used to be obsessed with watching YouTube game playthroughs as a kid, but I’m not really all that into it anymore. However! I will say that what got me into the Persona franchise back when I was a 5th grade child (?!?!??) is Kubz Scout’s playthrough of it on YouTube! I watched him tons as a kid (someone should’ve been monitoring my internet access for sure 💀) and I still watch some of his gaming videos every now and then. So. Shoutout to Kubz Scout’s for introducing me to my favorite game franchise everrr!! 🗣️🗣️ absolutely crazy that I was watching Persona playthroughs in elementary school though LMFAOO every time I think abt it I’m like … where were my parents at !! 😭

Idk where to vent to except here… I just relapsed… I did it, hours shy of 4 months being bulimia free, and I done did it..

I even came out to him maybe 2 weeks ago about how I’ve been dealing with bulimia for about over a year or so… How I was better now, but the body dysmorphia still gets me, and how I still get cravings for more food.. I was better though, and it wouldn’t happen again.. I had to tell him though.. It still happened again..

My bf definitely heard it.. We got a small house in this time. We’ve been living here for about a month and a half? I was puking up everything I had for dinner, I only ate breakfast and I even ran for an hour and worked out for another 2.. I still had to eat more and more.. I was so hungry.. Then so full, and I knew I shouldn’t have overate, but then I did.. Before I knew it I was puking it all up.. He tried to come in when I was showering, but I didn’t get to fully clean up everything so I frantically had to make up excuses of how my tummy hurt and to please let me finish showering alone.. 💔

He started playing games so when I finished I poured him some seltzer and watched him pretending it was all okay.. And then he asked me what was up and if I were okay because he heard me coughing and thought it was strange.. I’m so upset.. It was dark in our game room so he couldn’t see me or my eyes, but I couldn’t even fry to make eye contact when I said my tummy just hurt and it’s okay don’t worry.. I’m so sorry I lied.. I can’t believe I did.. I just told him I was going to settle down and read before I sleep.. I just cleaned the bathroom and bolted to bed.. I hope he doesn’t prove further, I feel so shameful..

it really is! I tend to love people with fire and water in their charts because they’re usually a nice balance of like… being emotionally intelligent and earnest and a lot of fun… and we can see that in mingyu in the way he’s like. Gendrya 💔

As much as I’m saddened by the direction of their relationship, I knew it wouldn’t happen the moment he asked her to be his Lady of Storm’s End. In Season 1 when she was in King’s Landing with Ned, she and her father discussed how she would grow up to be a lady with a noble lord and her response was “that’s not me”. Exactly what she said to Gendry when she turned him down. I have no doubts she loves Gendry, but that isn’t a life that she wants - she never has. Does this mean the end for them? Idk to be honest. I’ll be sad if it is.

Braime 💔

Now this one was more than a little sad and frustrating. For... who knows how many seasons now, we’ve seen Jaime and Brienne’s relationship grow and change. And finally last night we see them finally give into their desires for each other. I’ll admit I was good either way with how they would take the relationship; whether they would just stay friends and comrades with a mutual respect for each other, or they would finally fall for one another. I was good either way. But last night... Yay that they finally relented to their feelings, but then to just rip that rug from out under us and them. Just damn. I think he could have found real happiness there with Brienne, someone who loved and respected him. And I think he would have stayed if not for what Sansa said. And omg that bitchy little smirk she had about it, that pissed me the fuck off. I get you don’t like Cersei, but COME ON. That’s her fucking brother who still cares and loves his sister, maybe not to the degree it once was, but ffs Sansa. Jaime came up there to fight, maybe not be a complete bitch?

I’m not sure Jaime’s end game with Cersei. Is he going to King’s Landing to save Cersei? I think unlikely on that one. Is he going to kill her himself? I think that one more likely. I honestly think in the end that Jaime will kill Cersei, and the prophecy that the witch gave her will be fulfilled - that her younger brother would kill her. Cersei always thought that meant Tyrion, but Jaime is younger than Cersei too.

Side Note: I did feel a bit bad for Tormund when he realized the truth between Brienne and Jaime. The hope shattered on his face :( Though I knew that one more than likely wasn’t going to happen, it was still sad to see it.

Jonerys?

I’m not sure how this end up. They both obviously love each other. But like Tyrion and Varys were talking about, them being related might not be a big thing to Dany who is a Targaryen and that was normal for them, but Jon was raised in the North where that wasn’t done. I also think they would make a good pair to rule together, not one over the other. Unlike Varys I don’t think Dany would be able to bend Jon to whatever she wants. Jon is a strong man with morals and honor that he will stick behind, which is why he sided with Dany about the march. He swore her they would fight for her, he was going to keep his word whether Sansa and Arya liked it or not.

It’s Your Choice

I want to know what Sansa and Arya’s reaction was to the reveal! How did they take it? My husband thinks with what happened next was the reveal how they took it. Sansa’s worry and Arya leaving for the Capital. Idk, I just wanted to see/hear their reactions when Bran told them. How much disbelief was there? Any arguments? How did Arya take it? The sister that was the closest to him and just got done telling him that he was her full brother.

I will say I was vastly disappointed in Sansa at revealing Jon’s secret to Tyrion. All because she doesn’t like Dany, not that she has given Dany much of a chance.

Hounds

The exchange between Sansa and Sandor Clegane was nice and sad all at the same time. A little bonding moment, a laugh over her choice of punishment on Ramsey, and him really realizing how much she had changed since the last time he saw her. She was no longer the little bird that she once was, and even though the road to get to this point was terrible she’s glad she’s not that ‘little bird’. I’m not sure what to add on to it. It was what it was.

Please Don’t

I think Tyrion will have to end up killing Varys, because I think Varys will try to betray Dany. I agree that Dany is not in a very good place right now. Even more so now with the death of Rhaegal and Missandei, but I’m hoping that when Jon gets there it will help curb her rising anger to drive in the right direction.

Honorable Mentions

I understand budgets and whatnot, but the fact that we hardly saw Ghost these last few seasons and when we finally do see him it’s only a couple minutes only to ultimately be sent North with Tormund (so we’ll more than likely never see him again) without so much as a good bye from Jon bothered me - made me wanna go hold my puppy. Was anyone going to clean him up? Especially his MISSING EAR?!

And then there was one dragon. It was heart wrenching to see Rhaegal get shot out of the sky like he did. He was just getting back into the grove of flying with a busted ass wing and then... WHAM!

Her loyalty slowly starts to fade though sometime after the game's events so she eventually just fucks off and moves into a little settlement Near DC. She lives in a badly decorated pre-war house and acts as the town's protector :') she spends a lot of time in her garden or front porch + just chills there with dogmeat

Audrey: not really, she never really stayed at the same place after joining the NCR - her work always required her to move from place to place, depending where she was stationed and after that she travelled a lot so she didn't spend a lot of time at her home in Primm. During NV she lives in the Lucky 38 but ends up leaving some time after the game's events and resumes her work as a doctor. She lives idk.. somewhere in a little village + has a family. She's not used to being tied down to one place so she explores the surrounding area sometimes lmao (sometimes with her kids 😊)

squid game final review:

characters are all great, i’m still a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a strong “weak” woman character (yk the trope) but maybe it’s because they already have ali and the old man. maybe i’m just a bit too into the whole reverse damsel trope. although i hated most of them, i loved them in a writer’s perspective, so wonderfully created. you know that the characters are great when they illicit the proper emotions out of you. great acting too except for the front man, idk what his motives are, idk what his purpose is, idk why he’s doing this— and for having a huge plot arc dedicated to him (hwang brothers arc) it’s so dissatisfying leaving so many questions unanswered. if we’re supposed to not care about this dude and what he stands for, maybe there shouldn’t have been so much focus on him. either way, this is me being salty that detective hwang died because why put so much effort on that plot hook???? you had us strung along the goose chase and the possible satisfaction of mr. hwang not dying in vain and that the police would’ve been notified but no, he just died out in the sea, forever forgotten. maybe it’s a buildup to season 2??? again, no confirmed body kill so like….???? 👀 JSHWJSHSJS I CANT LET MR. HWANG GO. I JUST CANT. sure it may be some commentary on how “life doesn’t always work out” but i’m so lost oml 😭 explain what In-Ho’s purpose is at least.

storyline is great although i think the smuggler arc was kinda unnecessary, was probably added in as padding for the wild detective goose chase and the cheating doctor character arc.

i’m still a bit sad that most of my predictions were right because it’s heartbreaking. so sad so sad. saw the tropes coming from a mile away but didn’t make it any less painful 💔💔💔 especially sangwoo’s final scene.

i kinda don’t like how he’s rejoining squid game but ig that’s how it is huh, it impacted his life sm, it made sense that he’s hung up on him. i’m just sad that he won’t be able to see his daughter again— maybe i’m overthinking it but maybe it’s some sort of callback as to how he couldn’t fulfill his promises to his daughter when he was poor but then he still couldn’t fulfill them even when he got rich. also that red hair is so ridiculous, i can’t even—

on a technical perspective everything is just so beautiful. the set design, the fashion design, the colours??? the shots??? the acting (minus the VIPs)??? wonderful. i think the musical score is a bit all over the place though. i get how they were going for the elementary school music aesthetic (which i appreciate) but sometimes the mixing were a bit off. there was this one scene where the school music was playing alongside the ambient “chilling” music and it wasn’t blended well together at all, it was kinda just clashing.

would i watch another season of this? idk. probably? probably not. who knows. i don’t like the reveal of the BBEG, i mean it makes sense that it’s 001, we all saw that coming but like, the reasoning behind squid game is just so… shallow??? not even realistically but in a storywriting perspective it felt lazy. it was so unsatisfying hearing such a conclusion.

all in all, i really just started watching it for this. it’s such a great edit. do you see that adorableness?? that cute smile??? 10000/10, saved my life. would want to marry that man. i would watch squid game a hundred times over if he’s in it.

final rating: i am restricting myself from alcohol because i’ve been drinking too much, i was 3 months sober until i started watching this series and i could not get through it without getting shitfaced —out of 10.

6) no way in hell did they not see or feel the girl (no. 67) pickpocketing around with her knife 😭. though i guess they established twice that she has slippery undetectable hands and this is the first time we see it in actual action. oh well.
