#hey so uh a bit of a warning for the following tags it gets. heavy#BUT TLDR I ALREADY DO THIS AND IF YOU WANNA PAY ME FOR IT THATS AWESOME#things get a bit tmi at the end too so just dont unroll the tags if you dont want that ig#idk hkw to tell you this but Velocity is nothing *but* toxic sonadow#like. theres the scene where Sonic beats Shadow to near-death with a tire iron.#theres multiple occasions where Sonic unironically tells Shadow to kill himself. domestic violence is a pretty recurring thing#Shadow almost kills Sonic’s two-week old infant and only stops himself bc he knows nobody would ever forgive him if he did#theyre severely codependent on eachother and when Sonic even *suggests* that hey this is unhealthy we need to stay apart for a while#Shadow gets so overwhelmed at the thought of a breakup that his only thought is to stop it from occurring by any means possible (kill Sonic#and a lot of other shit. Sonic makes it a routine habit of coming to kill this guy every couple of weeks for DECADES#and can get away with it bc neither of them can actually die so theres no real consequence#and Shadow just lets it happen and sometimes doesnt even fight back since technically he doesnt deserve to lay a hand on him after what hes#done to him#ALL IM SAYING IS I ALREADY DO THIS LMAOOO#I have. a lot of cynicism regarding romantic relationships especially considering the two Ive had ended so badly#(IT WASNT EVEN MY FAULT AND I KNEW I WAS ARO THE SECOND TIME I TRIED TO MAKE IT WORK I REALLY DID I wanted us to still be friends#and at some point I realized the only way theyd let things remain amicable is if I let it be a codependent relationship#I didnt want to. but Id lose them as both a partner and a friend if I didnt bc they didnt want to cut things off even though I knew things#were going to shit. BASICALLY I HAVE. A LOT of stuff to project that I like to slip in#its just more interesting and tragic if things are a bit toxic and/or codependent! okay!#so I like doing it. sorry.#ask#anon
