When Phantom joined the Justice League, he wasn’t prepared to be approached by Batman of all people. He had been warned to not take everything Batman says to you personally, but that he was a great hero.

Batman had a request. A simple one, at least according to Batman. He asked Phantom to meet an anti-hero who had come back from the dead and had some … nasty side effects.

Phantom, intrigued, agreed. Batman set a time and place, and Phantom showed up. But, Phantom thought Batman had said the one in the red helmet was the undead.

He doesn’t understand why everyone freaks out when Phantom approaches the vigilante with half a cowl dressed in black and red. This boy reeked of death, did Batman seriously not know?

Thinking about kind of an ambitious project if I can finish the main NPMD corruption AU fic before December (very doable if I start working on it daily again). Basically, it’d be a VHSCC inspired Christmas special where Max + the nerds are haunted by 3 spirits (but of course don’t learn their lesson in the slightest and continue being menaces and get worse if anything). Instead of being prose it’d be in a script format with rewrites/parodies of the actual VHSCC songs.

I want to interact with the fandom less I think. Nothing wrong with it of course, actually I love all the art & theories I see(even if I don't agree with all of them but it is all fun) my problem is that I feel like I don't use my brain to think of stuff like I could have a theory but I scrool in the fandom abit and I forget it or something. over the weekend my partner and I went to the library’s inventory sale. we couldn’t go until the last day, so most of books were picked clean. we picked out a couple YA titles from the early 2000s and several cds, mostly just going off of cover/album art vibes. it was fill a bag for $1 so there was really no way lose

we each also found some nostalgic tunes; Vicente Fernández, a mexican singer that their parents played a lot when they were growing up for my partner, and a best of cd for Yma Sumac, a peruvian singer that my grandfather adored. really couldn’t have asked for better finds
