Salmon Sphene and Red Sphene for @ididthisturquoise’s latest contest! (Or more specifically, Red Sphene)

Salmon and Red are an era 1 Sphene and an era 2 Sphene (respectively) whose gems became conjoined when they emerged. Since era 2 sphenes take less time to form, the two both emerged fully ‘cooked’ so to speak, but they were connected by the torso, and unable to separate due to the sheer rarity of red and pink sphene.

Due to Salmon’s long legs, she can’t actually support both her and Red’s weight when she tries to stand, making it difficult for her to move on her own without crawling across the ground. I guess that’s a good thing considering it helps her locate gem shards that may be covered by sand or something like that. Red is the one who can actually walk, and is usually the one in control when the duo speak to higher rank gems.

Their situation may not be the best, but they manage quite well.

Chinese writing stone is here! She is a fusion between my Bazzite, @gemworke2 boussingaultite, @pb--luizink plumbogummite, @luke-d vanilla diamond, @andrew-23er lapis, @larimar-the-star andamooka opal, @vitreous-gem glass, @io-arte iolite, @ididthisturquoise turquoise, @the-gemsonacentral larimar, @bismutribr obsidian, @jurassicquartz dark amethyst, @ace-attorney-zircon turquoise, @fox-su-sister fire obsidian (forgot to add gemstone), and @neoryanvx1 rose amethyst. I hope you enjoy because this took about 7 hours to make, including the paper sketches and color choices.

I guess you can call this a collab with @almightyhamslice? Well point is she sketched my heliodor (small one) and her's (big one) together and i just could not let that sketch go to waste SOOOOO i finished it! It was really fun coming up with palette for her heliodor based on paper one. Anddd i also took the shot and tried new background inspired in ones by @ididthisturquoise! I really hope you like it!
