Beach volleyball

I tried to think of things that involved hitting something/jumping. I went with the obvious choice of beach volleyball

I like to think (yipee) that Frisbee and him are in a no homo relationship. Idk it's funnier like that to me. They're so no homo they kiss under the umbrella sometimes if they're alone Ehzhrhehe hehe. Hehe.....

Anyway.

Did my best to figure out how he wouldn't look out of place with the other available summer skins, so I went with the theme of blue/green/orange and white. Maybe 5% green, tho just to tie it in with the ball. Peep the tako keychain sho cute... I didn't know if I wanted to keep him blonde at first since I always took the chance to make him a brunette, but I realized blonde mikkoi fit the best in this theme.

I didn't want him to be exposed surprisingly, tho I did place hip windows on his shirt. Idk, I'm into that. What I saw with the men's beach volleyball was that they usually wore loser beach shorts? I didn't think it would fit Mike, so I gave him tighter biker esque shorts so he could just jump in the water whenever he wanted to cool off.

I gave him a slight sunburn... mostly on the exposed parts like his shins and his shoulders. I like it. It's mostly for me. (This is mostly for me....)

I like the visor orange, tho it's not obvious with the way it looks... maybe it's an homage to orange cookie 🍪 🤔 I've noticed that with most of the summer skins they had a lot of gold detailing but I know that's just idv being crazy, so I toned it down lol

Also he has a knapsack instead of his usual baggie on the side hehe hehee

allow me to introduce them to all of you willing participants. very willing, by the way.

i honestly domt know when harper first conjured up in my noggin, i know it was sometime in middle school so at least three years now? not too sure but the earliest memory i have of them is sitting in my 8th grade english class reading the outsiders for the fifth time, and thinking of the church in windrixville. i dunno what came over me but i ran home and immediately dropped the ville part of it and slapped it on harper for their last name. yes it is quite embarrassing but it fits kinda well??

im gonna keep this as short as possible.

harper, by themselves, is sort of an extension of my own self. i was very shy and insecure in middle school, so i eventually formed up harper and wrote them into little oc+canon type scenarios where they interact with my comfort characters and get the comfort i honestly needed back then. this led to a 100k+ word document compiling every single hurt/comfort scenario i put them through from middle school up until now (which nobody could torture the information in that doc out of me btw). yes, it was cringy, but to be cringe is to be free. and i flapped my wings of freedom out of the hellhole that was 8th grade, and onto better things.

i love harper with all my heart. they truly are just me, if i was cooler. everything theyve been through ive been through myself, but it felt good for me to write them getting the comfort i needed back then. and to this day i still write new stories and reread the old ones to get back that sense of comfort. they are truly my sweetest pie in the world of ocs i have.

FILE NO. 1 CONTENTS : TEXT ORIGIN : EYEWITNESS ACCOUNT. [ ELLIS R. DESMOND ] Local legend always seemed to focus around the bay that enclosed the small village that was called home by many. Some claimed to see one thing, but the next day they’d remember nothing at all as if the supernatural were at work. Always called that part of it all weird since I was little. Nestled by the sandbar of the bay always seemed to be a silhouette of grandiose nature that carried a voice sent from the very gods our damn village worshiped. A voice that grew the recognition of a curse we soon learned to bear.  That damn silhouette grew to take on the shape of a man or so I thought, and soon enough ended up learnin’ emotions bit by bit. As such emotions blossomed in nature, so did the weight they bore. The frustratingly loud songs that sprang from the bay soon took on a nature that was warm, yet brief and unsolicited. Any songs beyond melancholy were rare, often becoming harbingers of good faith whenever they appeared. Anything but was usually a signal to fishers’ deaths.  There was always this one lass who came to my shop down by the water, some widow’s daughter. Little one always wanted to see what I caught the day of, and for how much. Didn’t even matter if money was hard to come by for her. She always wanted to know. ‘Course, fish can’t keep a person’s attention for long-. That much I know more than anyone. After a week or so that lass ended up enamored by the water itself, kickin’ her arms and claiming to see or hear a person. Folks always pushed it off as nonsense, which wasn’t hard to see why at tha’ time. I even called the girl crazy. I mean, really. It’s not every day that some guy’s daughter claims she’s seen a damn monstrosity of the sea in freshwater. ‘Specially not somethin’ out of an urban legend or local myth.

IDVI Main Info

What is IDVI? IDVI is an OC AU of Identity V where this takes place in a world where Identity V is a mobile game based off a real life legend called “Legend of Oletus Manor”. While people believe it is just that, a legend, nothing but mere fiction with some names of real people in there out there in the world are people who know how real this ‘legend is’. The Researcher is one of these people someone who descends from someone related to Orpheus, her family as archived documents about the original manor games that took place. While the family were the ‘safe keepers’ of this knowledge to stop it from getting out of the public and into the wrong hands the Researcher took it differently: she saw it as salvation. She believed that Orpheus’ work was perfect to bring ‘salvation’ to those who were broken. Against her family’s oath she created the ‘Oletus Society’ who were dedicated to researching this drug that was documented and recovering old documents of the original games. After a lot of experimenting for years and hiding in the guise of a school she could finally start without exactly killing anyone so that they may live till ‘salvation’. This is when the school takes a turn for the worse, and students who already had a tough time living only had it rougher when the Researcher would hand pick them to participate in the games. Here the drugs act in two different ways for the survivors and hunters. The drugs bring out the hunter’s surpressed desires and turns the, extreme, going extreme lengths to bring that desire to reality. The Researcher refers to the ‘hunters’ as Harbingers of Salvation. Being able to reach for your desires is the blessing that is given to the hunters because the Researcher believes they reached salvation and gave them this ‘gift’ as a reward. While to the survivors the hunters are embodiments of their regrets and fears which the Researcher believes is holding the, back from reaching true salvation therefore the survivors will always fight the same hunter or a different one depending on all their fears and worries. If survivors are shuffled they are picked specifically because of a common fear or regret. While the survivors try to think of this as ‘positive’ because they just need to reach a quota in order to survive it is the opposite. While the Researcher goes further insane in her work she believes that survivors who were not showing signs of ‘healing’ are to be killed. Special games called the ‘sudden death’ appear to kill off these survivors unless they can prove their worth which is what spooks the survivors since they’ve been living under the idea that it was all okay, nothing would hurt them as long as they made the quota. Now its an endless fight for their life because is this salvation even possible to reach with such methods? They’d never know, and the Researcher would never which is why she’d never be ‘satisified’ and this would go on till they fail the ‘sudden death’ match. Or maybe until ‘that’ organization finally comes out.

Hc him as someone who was close to pickman before he turned into netherwalker.

(Probably an art collector?? Fellow artist? )

He enjoyed the paintings/many unique statues made by him. When the abyss took over pickman, mike was too far gone in wonder to really notice the changes to his friend, similar to pickman erosion took over his body leaving behind a husk of a shell that was once vivacious and charming.

They started calling those who choose to walk the path of the void, netherwalkers.

While mike never had direct contact with the abyss apart from the art that his old friend made, he was blessed with the chance after joining the group of investigators (coa3 cast) in their journey to learn more about it. Here he meets patchwork (one of the officers in charge of investigating the abyss) mike didn't show signs at first, only showing curiosity and having the money to help fund the investigation into the abyss, he was more than happy to comply with the condition he could also tag along to the expedition, whiplash was against it - who knows first hand how the abyss erodes you.

To each visit that they made to the abyss mikes facade slowly cracked, but it seemed like he never lost his way

the abyss slowly corrupts you, a slow burn of wanting to take u for itself.

The only thing that was probably different about mike was how he was always in presence of the abyss/remnant of the abyss idk, accidental or not mike realised that the paintings pickman drew were all things that he'd seen on the other side,

This is what drove him to insanity.

His obsession towards beauty, perfection, and fame. Mike didn't know at the time but a bud started blooming in the place of his beating heart.

The seeds that the void planted in his heart slowly grew everytime he set foot towards the abyss, the more he didn't want to leave.

He wasn't someone who would've been missed.

All the last traces of his family left him to follow the void. Why shouldn't he do follow as well.

However, the vessel that the abyss chose to corrupt to take this time around was someone who had a will of iron. He fought for control over his body as the parasite that leached on to his warmth stuck to him outside of the abyss, always bringing a piece of the void with his soul as he continued his daily routine (tried)

okay !! so. happy new year folks im a bit late.... so i will now ! present harpers backstory stuff !! its a bit. unfortunate but yknow theyre an idv character... it adds spice and personality i guess..

quick general warning for under the cut : child abuse / mistreatment, murder, domestic violence, and generally a child being in a lot of distress and discomfort..... oops

harper was born as the youngest child out of their two brothers. theyve always favored music out of everything they had in their little, lower-class two room cottage excluded from the rest of the town. as a child, their mothers mandolin would lull them to sleep on restless nights and comfort them when they cried. they loved their mother with all their heart, picking up their first instrument handed down from her at the young age of seven. harper, no matter how much they loved their family, could recognize their faults. the way their eldest brother would let them curl up at his side and sing them a lullaby to drown out the sounds of arguing coming from the other room, the way their father would act.. strange around his family when under pressure, and the way their mother had shaky, bruised fingers that still managed to strum the strings for her children all didnt sit right with them.

when harper was twelve, they figured everything to be normal, this was just how families were. they fought, just like every family. but when they were frolicking in the woods alongside their brothers one evening, they heard a crack followed by a scream from their garden. they were told to stay while their brothers rushed to the scene. harper never liked feeling left out, it was common being the youngest, yet it still hurt their feelings more than anything. so, they followed, eventually seeing their father standing above the unmoving body of their mother with a broken pair of scissors turned into blades. they wished they stayed curious, ultimately watching as their middle brother rush forward, attempting to take the weapons out of his fathers hands, only to be treated with a stab into the neck, drowning on his own blood. harper had to be held back and protected by their eldest brother, tucked safely behind his arm. their eyes were forcefully covered, but they still knew what had happened when they heard their father grunt followed shortly by a heavy thud of a body slamming to the ground, the slaughter ending with him.

the next thing they knew, their brother had hidden them under the bed, promising his return with help under the strict conditions that they do not open the door for anyone, not the sheriffs, not any friends, nobody. so, as he gave them a weak smile as he walked out the door, they waited. one day passed, and the reality hadnt set in. they napped, waking the next morning with still no sign of their brother. they heard the sheriffs banging at their door, but they didnt answer. they hid with their back pressed to the door for upwards of three days. three days without their family. they crawled out on the morning of the third day and accepted their new life. alone. their brother was likely dead out there as well. the police had taken away their family's bodies, leaving only blood staining the grass and vegetables.

harper spent the next years in solitude, every so often heading down to the market to buy a handful of fruit. they were tiny, growth permanently stunted by years of malnourishmemt. they could only handle so much before picking up being a bard at thirteen, living off change thrown into their mothers mandolin case. starving, hurting, and alone, when an invitation dropped into their case one night, they couldnt comprehend it. a cash reward for a simple performance? they had to go, why wouldnt they? it could change their life. maybe, on the way, they could find the man they lost only five years prior.

I remember the way I ended up using this name was because of a little girl who found her way to my train. while we were looking for the timeline that she came from to send her back home, she wanted to know my name but as you know, I forgot my name so I let her pick whatever name she liked to call me by and she ended up picking Marise”

Marise smiled softly remembering the little girl, glad he still could remember her to this day “We went through many different timelines and worlds together to find her home and during that time we grew closer… but everything had to come to an end and when we finally found her home we said our goodbyes and as a way to honor her I kept the name she gave me”

Sugar Rush- There's no limits to a kid's imagination, as well as their sweet tooth. The Candy Dealer's ability can be triggered 2 times, giving her a speed boost for 3 things: kiting, decoding and even struggling off balloons. cooldown is 1 minute.

Partners in Crime- Their lives are at risk and there's no time to lose. Actions that include 'The Gambler' will have a speed boost. Such as; Decoding, healing, rescuing and removing spikes/leaches.

Trading- A pair of simple paws are enough to let her business continue. Thanks to The Candy Dealer's pet, she can send players across the map an item of their liking ,Not limited to just chest items. Same as lucky guy. there's a 50% chance of being random. [Can only be done twice per match]

Sugar Crash- Too many sweets will make you get sick of 'em! After her ability is done, a slowing debuff is added for one of the three things she chose to boost for the rest of the match. The effect stacks for the second time the ability is activated.

All In- Try your luck by taking a card from the deck! 'The Gambler' can get max 6 cards with 4 variants The hearts card can heal you, the spade ones gives you a speed boost, clover gives a decoding boost and the diamond it's a free card of choice for another teammate. There's a 50/50 chance of failing to pick a card, causing slow movement for 3 seconds. Once you pick a random card from the deck and it can't be changed until you use it.

Blink and Miss- A good player always knows a good card trick. While being chased, The Gambler can perform a trick to the hunter. Stunning and making them unable to use their skills.

Fold- You gotta fold when you have a bad hand. Struggling off balloons have a 15% chance of being immediately.

Snake eyes- Followed by his past memories and the broken mirrors luck can cause a headache 'The Gambler' exit decoding speed decreases by 30%
