the problem with the yuri images server is that i would have to vet people for if they were chill because other wise we'd get like someone posting something as tame as a mochi au lait screen cap and then fifty call out posts will get made. even if i made it like this is the incest yuri zone you have to opt into this is the abusive yuri zone, just their existence would get people mad at me but if i don't do it people are liable to post that anyway and people would get mad at me anyway.

The Scarlet Letter: Let’s talk about RWBY’s male LGBT rep
I have been sitting on this post for nearly four weeks waiting until the 15th due to the Before the Dawn spoiler rules.
So let's start with a blunt statement: RWBY's male LGBT representation has not been good. If the series' handling of female LGBT rep is good (which... well there's worse shows) and the general standard for how you write LGBT characters in a show like this, its handling of male rep has been... how not to. And Before the Dawn kinda solidified the idea in my head that the show's handling of its male LGBT cast just isn't good enough, either by the standards of when RWBY began in 2013, or today in 2020 when compatively massive steps have been taken over the past decade to show a more diverse list of characters... or at least a more diverse list of female characters.
I don't wanna make this a pissing match over how over-or-under-represented male or female LGBT characters are, but I feel like it's safe to say that the majority of the trend-setters for modern romances, especially in western animation, have been between women. Korra and Asami from Korra, Chloe and Max from Life is Strange, Marceline and Bubblegum in Adventure Time, (insert the relevant Steven Universe characters here, never watched it), and more recently, Adora and Catra in She-Ra and Luz in Owl House.
Compatively, while studies have shown that in general male LGBT characters get more appearances on a purely numerical level, in general they're more one-off characters there to pad a roster, or played more for comedy (see Josh Gad in the Beauty and the Beast remake or the gay guy in Avengers Endgame that was more notable for how hard China and Russia snapped him out of existance). The only big male-LGBT focused media I can think of from the last decade would be Yuri On Ice, Moonlight, IDW's Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye (Chromedome/Rewind best pairing fuck you Roberts for issue 16) Love Simon, and the anime adaptation of Banana Fish.
So it's no surprise that RWBY basically follows these ideas. It's big romance is (unless the writers are very stupid) going to be between Blake and Yang, their first out character was Ilia, Coco got sent to the Book Dimension where she confirmed "I use my sunglasses to perv on women without their knowledge" which uh... yeah you can definitely tell RWBY is written by men... and Volume 6 had Saph and Terra being a good example of an LGBT couple without any real drama. In the last three years alone, the show has drastically increased its lesbian and bisexual characters, alongside even including its first out trans character in May Marigold (albeit only revealed on Twitter). In general, these depictions of sexuality have been pretty OK. Would have liked it if Ilia wasn't immediately written out of the show after Volume 5 as it made her feel a bit more disposable than intended but whatever, subject for another day.
RWBY's male rep though is a bit spottier. There's the plant bois in Volume 5's premiere, we nearly had Pilot Boi until some last-minute revisions, and... Scarlet.
Tumblr media
Why Scarlet's a bad launchpad for male LGBT rep
I don't like Scarlet or how his sexuality has been handled. Scarlet's homosexuality wasn't revealed in the show, or by the writers, or even in anything that's actually canon. He's confirmed gay in his sole of dialogue in a non-canon fan anthology, where the manga's Twitter team had to say that Miles suggested the idea and approved of it.
In short, Scarlet is Dumbledore'd, where his sexuality is revealed in out-of-show material and in a way that doesn't make it supremely obvious (Miles himself never commented to confirm this so this news was limited in how far it could spread. I'm genuinely curious how many people still don't know Scarlet's gay), and Scarlet himself is a nothing character who was written out of the show after Volume 3 and only reappeared in Before The Dawn, half a decade after he vanished. Compared to Ilia, as this came out after Ilia's entire arc in Volume 5, it's not a great starting point for mlm rep. But things would have been forgiven if it had gotten better, if the show did have more male LGBT characters introduced, even just on the Saphron/Terra level of just being around for a few episodes before leaving. Then it would have been a misfire but then we could all say "Things got better."
It... didn't. Which is why when Before the Dawn released in 2020, a full two years after Scarlet was first confirmed gay, while the franchise had more than doubled its wlw rep, Scarlet remained the one male character in the entire franchise who had a name and liked men. I remember vividly a fake leak for After The Fall which claimed Yatsuhashi would come out to Velvet and admit to having a crush on Fox. And I remember as well how many people were disappointed when it was said to be false, because it would have been nice for Yatsuhashi's character, especially after the fleshing out he gets in the CFVY books. If Yatsu had come out as gay in the books I'd like his writing enough to say he's a good case for rep, albeit with the caveat of "This is all in side material." But in reality, the leak was fake and Coco was confirmed gay instead.
Unfortunately, Before the Dawn proceeded to ruin Scarlet and made me at times feel genuinely uncomfortable as a queer man! Let's talk about that.
Before The Dawn is crap and Scarlet's writing is borderline offensive
I hate Before the Dawn. It's... bad. I read it while on a vacation and the only solace I had about the entire thing was that I'd bought an M&M chocolate bar. The bar was finished before the book. That bummed me out. It's not a very well written book, the prose is very Early 2010s YA Writer, none of the characters are memorable and there's various Fun Incidents like "NGDO using children as bait for Grimm," and "Neptune's hydrophpobia being used as a threat to torture him and the scene is played for comedy."
Theo was cool. I can't wait to see him as written by good writers, he should be a highlight of the Vacuo arc.
I had two hopes for Before the Dawn- "Don't be bad," and "Let Scarlet and Sage be well written." I'd liked how After The Fall had handled some of its characters (barring, y'know, Coco perving on women), especially Fox and Yatsu who were surprising in how much I liked them. I was looking forward to seeing Myers give Sage and Scarlet similar treatment- two relatively nothing characters meant he'd have a blank slate to write them however he wanted, he could give them unique personalties and if nothing else it could be cool to see their Semblances.
And then I read the book. (Sage fans I am so sorry for you, you got baited harder than Johnlock fans)
Scarlet's a giant dickhead in the book. It's his sole character trait and his inner monologues go on, and on, and on about how much he hates Sun, how he revels in mocking him. Most of his dialogue is sarcastic put-downs about Sun and how lame he is, and Sun is never properly allowed to defend himself or point out how going with Blake meant he was able to help save Haven Academy.
(hey remember when Sun in Volume 6 expressly says to Blake "I was a bad leader for ditching Neptune and the others, and I need to work on that" only for Before the Dawn to have him staunchly refuse to accept that he let the team down? I don't think Myers did but I do)
Scarlet being a ratty bitch would be one thing if, again, the franchise had done more rep. He'd still be a badly written character, but it wouldn't sting as much. But because Scarlet is still the only expressly confirmed male LGBT character in canon (the book teases that Nolan is gay but there's never confirmation either way beyond him smiling at Scarlet), it means that he has to represent that entire ideal. So when the one gay man in Remnant is being an asshole and a snide loser, that means that by extension, this is how the franchise sees gay men. And that fucking sucks! I wanted to come out of Before The Dawn singing its praises, I wanted to like the book, but it was a massive letdown, especially coming off of the other big 2020 RWBY controversy involving gay characters.
Yeah. We're doing this.
Tumblr media
Clover and Fair Game: Technically not queerbaiting. BUT:
Let's pre-empt this: Clover wasn't queerbaiting, and Fair Game, while cool and I dig it, kudos to them for becoming one of the top 5 RWBY pairings on AO3 in one year that's fucking impressive (I say with mild malice as an IronQrow main), never had a chance. The writing never seriously boosted it barring one interaction which was flirty (them talking in the lobby of the Schnee Manor), and everything else was out of show boosting through the social media teams and CRWBY hyping it themselves by saying they liked it. If you wanna blame people, blame the animators who went off-script with stuff like Kim Newman adding the wink as a deliberate nod to the Volume 4 waitress, or the social media team deliberately using the same policies for Fair Game as they do for Renora and Bumblebee.
Tumblr media
It wasn't Eddy's fault that things escalated, and he himself has said that in retrospect, he should have warned people that this never had a shot.
But I can't blame the Fair Game fanbase. Because Fair Game took off like wildfire. It came right as the fanbase began seriously asking for more male rep, Qrow's pretty hot, and the Clover wink came right after the Great IronQrow Reawakening of November 9th, 2019. The rocket was primed, and they rode it to the moon. Finally, to these people, after seven years RWBY seemed to be doing something with mlm rep in show. People started getting into RWBY just for Clover and Qrow's interactions. And if heroes were boring, Watts and Tyrian also had a fantastic dynamic that made Nuts and Volts one of the more popular villain ships overnight. Things seemed to be turning around! RWBY was remembering that gay men existed! You could hear the choir sing!
... And for those people, that meant that episode 12 hit like Truck-Kun.
Tumblr media
People got pissed. People were horrified. And it didn't help that some members of CRWBY had said in the build-up that episode 12 would have some shots that made them nauseous (probably the Tyrian thumb thing) Out of context, it looked to these fans like CRWBY were basically laughing at their suffering, like they were saying "Lol, you thought you had a chance, get fucked, I hope your vomit burns on the way up."
Yeah, Fair Game was never gonna be canon, and I think some people ran too far with it. But in the wider context of how desperate RWBY's mlm community had gotten for basic crumbs of content? I can see why they'd run with what they had. The writers aren't at fault for what happened, but CRWBY didn't help matters. And that desperate mix of what felt like official backing from the crew, jokes about how cute the ship was, and the hope that finally the show would have onscreen rep? I can see why people ran with it.
So why is the show more lackluster in depicting mlm characters?
Money. Let's be honest, most RWBY fans don't care if the show doesn't have good male rep. I'm willing to bet some of you reading this won't care and just dismiss it as not being that big a problem. I don't think the writers care if the show doesn't have good mlm rep because they're not poaching that market. They're after what they see as a bigger, more lucrative market, which in this case is female LGBT rep. That gets people buying games, watching shows, raising awareness and boosting awareness of your property, which means you make more money. In short: Two women kissing hits more markets and generates more attention than two men.
Am I saying that Miles, Monty and Kerry deliberately sat down seven years ago and said "We're not doing gay men because it won't generate enough ad revenue and traffic to be worth the loss in revenue from homophobes?" No, that's silly. But I'm saying that it's less important for them, and it shows in the things that are small and add up. Things like Miles not verifying Scarlet's sexuality or retweeting the manga account's confirmation to spread the message (compared to how he enthusiastically confirmed Ilia being a lesbian himself during the Reddit AMA). It shows in how Pilot Boi would have been the first mlm character only to die in his second full episode until M&K were told about the Bury Your Gays trope. It shows in how Shannon believes that Ozma is "megaqueer" and Miles jokingly laughs it off instead of confirming it, leaving it to just be Shannon's headcanon. It shows in how actor shipping is compared between the mlm and wlw ships, where Arryn and Barbara's frequent pushes for Bumblebee are seen as "official confirmation that it's endgame" while Michael and Kerry saying they enjoy Seamonkeys is treated as "well it would be cute if they did it, but they're never going to."
I'm not gonna say anything like "CRWBY are gonna have Qrow end up with a woman like Robyn out of spite against the bad apples of the Fair Game crowd." I'm not gonna say that I don't think CRWBY cares about male representation in the series. It is, however, definitely a low priority for them, and because that leads to gaffes like Scarlet's writing in Before The Dawn being offensive in his depiction, it only makes the contrast between the sexes all the more painfully apparent.
I'm kinda tired of waiting for Rooster Teeth to show that they do care about mlm. I'm kinda tired of RWBY's male rep being written like it came from a 1993 time capsule where I have to enhance the screen to see a guy holding a sign of Sun's abs or be content with the only onscreen rep still being the plant bois in Volume 5. I'm tired of how often the crew dances around answering basic questions about sexuality (and age, and birthdays, and heights, and so on) by treating it as a spoiler question, as if just wanting to know what way people swing would ever be a spoiler. I'm just... tired of all this. When the best mlm rep in Rooster Teeth's history remains the two dads in Camp Camp who show up in a few episodes, that should say something really bad about your company and your biases (To say nothing of the recent Red vs Blue seasons and their blatant queerbaiting for Grif and Simmons and the whole can of worms that is Donut).
I'd like to not feel like I'm borderline unwelcome because I'd like to see two men in this show kiss, and that the sole thing that represents people like me in this show is some British twat who complains about sand.
I'd just like to feel like my sexuality isn't a joke to Rooster Teeth (or at the very least, be like Donut and have it be a funny one). But at this point after the last few years? I feel like a very uncomfortable punchline to them. And it just sucks.

This one was actually written as a prompt from @ruakichan and posted on here, but I don’t feel like combing my tumblr to find it. So here it is again!
Dissidia Didn't Want Them: AO3 Fandom: Tales of Vesperia, Final Fantasy XIII-2 Pairing: Yuri/Flynn, Hope/Noel Rating: Teen Summary: Four hapless saps traveling together with not much to do.
P.S. The fic is under the cut for people who don’t wanna go to AO3 for whatever reason. Cheers~

"We'll be right back!" Yuri called out, waving back towards Flynn and Hope before heading off after Noel.
Smiling wryly, Hope could only shake his head in fond exasperation. "Like clockwork."
"Without fail," Flynn spread his hands out and sighed heavily at the entire situation. "Just can't ever stay put, can they? I swear, one of these days I'm going to put a leash on Yuri and never take it off."
"It's not a bad idea," Hope said smoothly, his expression taking on a knowing light as he glanced over at Flynn out of the corner of his eye. "Assuming we ever find our way out of this strange, seemingly pointless land, and assuming we make it back to my world somehow, which is highly improbable with our current odds, I suppose I could let you borrow one of mine to try out on him."
Flynn very nearly tripped, but managed to right himself a few seconds later without too much trouble. "Very funny," he grumbled, but there was little heat to it. He was used to far worse teasing from other areas.
"So sure I'm joking?" Hope's smile quirked up in amusement. "You've already seen just how enthusiastic Noel can be when he feels like it. With that knowledge in hand, such a conclusion isn't too difficult to arrive at."
Flynn stayed silent for the next half-mile of their meandering journey, likely mulling over the possibilities in his mind, before finally speaking up. "No, you're right. I have no way of knowing for sure. And frankly, you never can tell with people. No matter how well you might know somebody, they can still surprise you at the oddest times."
Hope chuckled. "Well, to be fair, I've always taken the saying "It's always the quiet ones." a little too literally. It makes things interesting though."
Flynn couldn't help but snort in response. "It does at that." He was smiling now though, his steps a little lighter and his shoulders a little less droopy thanks to a joke that may not even be a joke. There really was no telling with Hope. When they'd first met up, Hope had come across as quite serious and well put together, so it had been easy enough for Flynn to decide to go along with them. The fact that Hope and Noel were the first - and only - people they'd run across in this... place had helped as well. And really, that first impression hadn't actually changed much, it had just... grown. Hope was a natural born leader, but he was also a nice person. But also a devious one, especially when he was paying Noel back for something inconsequential. So no, leashes didn't seem like they'd be too far out of the ordinary for someone like Hope Estheim. He probably had one for every day of the week. Designer ones at that. Hmmm.
"You don't have one in purple, do you?"
---
The beast was quite big, with tufts of hair haphazardly sticking out of the rocky protuberances dotting the creature's body. They weren't part of a shell either, that was the damn thing's skin. Not exactly what Yuri would call a good prospect for dinner, much less getting back in one piece after a fight with it. The fact that it smelled like a sewer from downwind wasn't helping its case one little bit. If Noel thought that he was going to help at all with anything involving that thing, well, he had another thing coming. Such a happy lunatic...
"So what do you think?" Noel asked conspiratorially, an almost infectious grin plastered across his face.
"It's ugly," Yuri deadpanned. No way, no how, was he going to help Noel take that beast down. He preferred to stay in one piece, thank you very much.
"Well yeah," Noel shot back sarcastically, "That seems to be the theme of this stupid world, but that's beside the point. The point is what you think it will taste like."
"I don't know and I don't care," Yuri said blandly as he shifted around and started heading in the opposite direction from that hideous creature.
"Oh, come on," Noel practically whined after him, "Where's your sense of adventure?"
Yuri resisted the urge to snort in disbelief. "Not in my stomach." Sometimes he wondered about Noel's sanity, then he remembered Hope and didn't wonder anymore. Some things were truly meant to be, and not because of romantic ideals. No, sometimes it just took a lunatic to look after and care for another lunatic. "And don't even think about taking it down on your own. You might be able to," Yuri said conversationally as he continued to crawl away from that thing, "But then you'd have no way to cart it back to camp, because I sure as shit am not going to help you with that."
"You're no fun," Noel grumbled from behind him. Good, at least he was being smart and coming with instead of staying back. Hope wouldn't hold it against him if Noel really did do something that monumentally stupid, but Yuri preferred for his friends to stay in one piece, regardless of their state of sanity.
"I suggest we find something to hunt that won't end up having the texture of rocks," Yuri suggested as he arched an eyebrow and cast a look back at Noel. "Because I don't think our better halves will be amused if we bring back crap again."
Noel grimaced at the reminder. "Yeah... yeah, you're right. There is that. He'd probably freeze my butt again if I brought that thing back." Noel heaved out a dramatic sigh as they headed further into the brush. "Pity though, I bet it would've been real interesting."
---
It wasn't that Hope was spoiled or anything. Certainly, he'd spent his formative years as a "little rich boy", but circumstances had changed his outlook rather permanently. And really, there was no point dredging up those ancient memories again, especially not over something this stupid. So no, it wasn't that he was spoiled, and he was always prepared to rough it if the situation called for it (which it had several times throughout his life). But seriously, did everything in this godforsaken world have to taste so terrible? Animals and plants, it didn't matter which, there was always something off about the taste. At best, the wildlife came off as bland when cooked. Unfortunately, it rarely was at its best. The rabbit type creatures - that were ever so common - were outright rancid and impossible for even Noel to stomach. All the tuber roots they'd dug up so far had an odd sour note to them, but at least they were somewhat palatable. The birds were a crapshoot, literally. Hard to hunt and even harder to tell whether they'd end up edible or not. Honestly, Hope was beginning to suspect that their mysterious kidnapping and subsequent relocation to this terrible world was just an experiment to see how quickly they'd turn cannibal from the horrible food. They still had so little information to go on, so it was a feasible enough conclusion to arrive at.
"You feeling okay, Hope?"
Glancing over at Flynn, Hope managed to muster up a reassuring smile before turning his attention back to his distasteful meal. "I'm fine, just the usual problems with enjoying our typical dinner."
"Oh? Hmmm." Flynn hummed in curiosity, took a bite, chewed it thoroughly, then swallowed it down. "I don't know, it seems pretty decent tonight to me."
Hope shot him a disbelieving look before understanding dawned upon him. "Oh right, I keep forgetting that you have no sense of taste. This junk probably does taste just fine to you. Too bad that isn't a shareable trait."
"I have a sense of taste," Flynn grumbled defensively. Hope gave him another look, this one even more disbelieving, and Flynn deflated slightly. "Okay, so it's not the best, but I can taste things. You guys didn't have to ban me from cooking, you know. It's not like I could ruin this stuff that badly."
Hope snorted. "Never rule out the possibility of things getting worse, because the instant you get complacent it will get worse. Without fail." Flynn scowled irritably, but didn't argue the point. Hope gave him an apologetic smile, then took another small, measured bite out of his food. It wasn't the worst they'd had up until now, but it wasn't anywhere near being the best either. Ugh. What he wouldn't give for a little taste of civilization right about now.
---
Noel wasn't entirely sure how they'd gotten to chatting about their latest subject. Well, no, that wasn't quite true, he knew why. He just didn't know why why. Or something. Whatever. Despite having known their traveling companions for only a few weeks, he felt comfortable around Yuri, like they'd known each other for a really long time and were just catching back up on their recent goings-on. They didn't, of course, had only just recently met for the first time, but it didn't change that base feeling. Instincts maybe? Did it even matter in the end what the why really was? Probably not.
They'd come across another stream, this one a bit more promising, and had set up for another attempt at fishing. The last one had been disastrous with vicious, spiny fish that had ended on an extremely low note of bloody hands and empty bellies. Here's hoping there wouldn't be a repeat of that this time around. And so far it had been peaceful, though granted, they still hadn't gotten a bite yet. It could still go either way. Hope and Flynn were off foraging for veggies that hopefully wouldn't taste like ass again. It wasn't that he cared either way, but after awhile, it was pretty hard to ignore the fact that this planet was a smorgasbord of shitty tasting plant life and even shittier tasting meat critters. The sooner they found a way back home the better, to be honest. Noel wasn't sure he'd survive Hope's growing irritation with the local diet if it went on for much longer.
"You really shouldn't feel guilty about it," Yuri said finally after several long moments spent shared in silence. "But I'm sure you do anyway. It's hard not to when it involves a friend."
Noel swallowed heavily and nodded. He should have been able to do something, anything. But nothing had worked in the end, nothing had gotten through. Caius had stopped being rational a long time ago, probably even before he'd been born. All that had been left in the end was an end.
"But that's just the way things work out sometimes," Yuri continued, his tone deadly serious as he cast his line back out again. "There's really no right answer to something like that. Every choice is wrong, no matter which way you look at it. But you can't just sit idly by and let shit happen either, you have to do something regardless of it being wrong."
Noel nodded in reluctant agreement. There really hadn't been a choice in the end. Caius had been a friend, regardless of whether the man had still considered him one or not. To ignore his suffering, to let him compound it with countless sins, that would've been so very, very wrong. No, it hadn't been the "right" choice in the end, but it had been the only one that had afforded either of them any sort of peace. He could shoulder that burden, at least.
"It just boils down to what you can live with," Yuri said somberly as he gazed out over the water, a sad smile quirking at his lips. "It will always haunt you, of course; but some choices, no matter how horrible they seem, are so much easier to bear than others."
Letting out a heavy breath, Noel nodded once again. "I know. I just... wish it really were easier."
"Me too."

part 1, part 2, part 3 (you are here), part 4, part 5, part 6, part 7, part 8, part 9, based on @skygemspeaks‘s prompt
His son is sixteen when he discovers volleyball, and Yuuri couldn’t be more happy when he does.
Lev has always been a tall boy, would have been gawky if he hadn’t been an enthusiastic member of their family of athletes. So while he isn’t exactly gawky, the way his peers are during puberty, he has always been a little intimidating. It didn’t make him many friends in school, though that was combated somewhat by his almost terrifying friendliness.
He’s drawn in so many people, and he has more acquaintances that Yuuri wonders sometimes how he keeps track of them all, but so few true friends that it breaks Yuuri’s heart. He spends most of his time trying to figure out where he fits in, and what he likes.
There’s no doubt in Victor’s mind that if Lev really wanted, he could be a top figure skater. He’s got the physique and the command over his body that it requires, despite his impressive height. That’s largely because he spends so much time working out with the rest of them.
Unfortunately, there’s no doubt in Yuuri’s mind that no matter how much Lev loves skating-- and he does, he adores it --it’s not what he wants to do with his life. Even if he hadn’t said anything himself, which he has, Lev skates like someone who loves skating for what it is, rather than as a competitive sport. He skates lazily, for fun rather than for practice. His jumps are crisp and clean, much to his sister’s dismay more often than not, but Lev doesn’t feel the music in his bones the way the rest of them do. He’s always been buzzing with energy rather than humming with it.
But when he comes home from school in his third year at middle school, clutching a volleyball with a blinding smile and a hopeful glint in his eye Yuuri’s never seen before, he can feel his heart soar.
He knows next to nothing about volleyball, to be completely honest; he had no idea that tall, lithe players were at an advantage in a way that they weren’t in a lot of other sports. He’d never have thought to suggest it to Lev, but the way he lights up when Yuuri agrees to watch a match with him before his Dad, sister, and Uncle Yuri get home makes him wonder exactly why not.
It’s too late in the school year for Lev to gain anything from joining his school’s volleyball team, but Yuuri and Victor promise to help him however he needs. Alisa is a little more skeptical, telling Yuuri that “You’ve heard about it, but I’ve seen how the kids at school treat him, Dad. I’m not sure volleyball is going to be the way to fix it.”
Still, she supports her brother and works out with him and their parents. Yurio whips Lev’s arms and core into shape when he isn’t busy training himself. Yuuri would never let Yurio hear him say it, but his spartan upper body training (“because a good spiker needs to be flexible, dummy”) reminds Yuuri a lot of Lilia.
It’s not uncommon, nowadays, for Yuuri, Victor, and Alisa to come home from a competition to find Yurio, Otabek, and Lev in the backyard, practicing Lev’s admittedly powerful spikes. The rest of them join in when they can, playing friendly three on three games with no real semblance of rules.
Yuuri asked Lev once how his uncles were able to help him practice so much. To his complete surprise, it was mostly Otabek.
“Uncle Beka has a friend who plays volleyball.” Lev sounds excited to be able to talk about his uncle’s friend. “He’s my age and he has a friend who’s a lot like Uncle Yuri--” “Wait, slow down Lev.” Yuuri smiles at his son’s enthusiasm. “How did Otabek meet him?”
Lev shrugs. “He won’t say but Uncle Yuri says it’s from one of those aesthetic blogs he loves so much and when I found out about volleyball he reached out to this guy because he knew he played and Uncle Beka is famous on Instagram so the guy was really happy to help!”
It takes Yuuri a moment to decipher the rambling, as it always does, but once he does, he resists the urge to chuckle. It’s an awkward way to help, since it would have been much easier to just get some books, but awkward, well-meaning help always has been Otabek’s style.
“Your uncle hasn’t let you meet this boy in person, right?” Yuuri trusts Otabek and Yuri, but he has to double check; the internet can be a wonderland, but it can also be a dangerous place.
Lev shakes his head. “I’ve talked to him a few times through DMs and Uncle Beka’s facetime though! He’s a lot like you! And he has this friend who sounds exactly like Uncle Yuri, it’s so weird! And they even act the same, too! But they live all the way in Miyagi and they’re still in school too so they wouldn’t be able to come visit anyway. They said they’d be joining a volleyball team in high school too, so maybe I’ll be able to play against them--”
Aaaand he’s lost him. Yuuri smiles fondly, infinitely happy that Lev has finally found something he loves doing enough to ramble on about. For the rest of them it’s always been ice skating, but Yuuri knows Lev has always been destined for different things.
There’s only a month before Lev goes on vacation, and then he’ll be a high school student. It’s hard to believe when it feels like no time at all has passed since the night they brought the kids home. But now Alisa is about to graduate high school and Lev is about to start and yeah, it really has been fourteen years.
Yuuri is looking forward to a lifetime more, especially now that everything is falling into place.

“Ooh, how pretty!” Tadashi snaps a picture of the rose in the neighbor’s yard from a few different angles, then he put his phone right under his friend’s nose. “Tsukki, look!”
Tsukki rolls his eyes, but glances at the photos. “They’re alright.”
Which is Tsukishima-speak for those are fantastic, great job Yamaguchi, and Tadashi beams, opening his editing app and putting a few filters over the image to give it a dreamy quality before posting it.

Tadashi nearly drops his phone when he finally gets to the bottom of today's notifications, seeing what sparked all this. There, in stark black print, is the notification that started it all.
@altin_beka started following you. 6h
@russian_ice_tiger started following you. 1h
“Tsu… Tsukki?” Tadashi asks, feeling faint, “Can you punch me in the face? Please? I think I'm dreaming.”
The fact that Tsukki just blinks at him in confusion instead attests to how close they are, because Tadashi knows he wouldn't hesitate with most other people. “Yamaguchi. I'm only going to ask this once. What the hell?”
Tadashi shoves the phone into Tsukki’s face, feeling a little hysterical. “Otabek Altin followed me! Yuri Plisetsky too! Why? Why would they even know I exist? How did they find my account? Tsukki, who am I?”
Tsukki blinks again, looking annoyed. Then he sighs his trademarked you moron sigh and Tadashi gratefully feels a little less like he's in a dream.
“Isn't that the old skater guy whose life you stalk? Maybe he just finally noticed it and threw you a bone.” Tsukki slowly pushes the phone away from his face.
Tadashi spends the next few minutes staring at it in disbelief, much to Tsukki’s irritation. That isn’t ideal, because it hurts Tadashi’s chest when Tsukki is upset with him, but he can’t help being preoccupied.
He really does drop it when a DM comes in from Otabek, asking bluntly if Tadashi will teach him the basics of volleyball for his nephew.

ATTENTION: Men and women over 30 who love good food, are pressed for time, tired of figuring out “what’s for dinner?” and still want to enjoy delicious healthy meals that keep you lean in just minutes a day!
How a Breakthrough Discovery From a Busy Mom and Dad Helps Your Body Burn Fat 24/7 Without Counting Calories, Starving Yourself, or Relying on Unhealthy “Diet” Foods
Tumblr media
Hey, Yuri Elkaim and Amy Coates here and we’d like to ask you a question:
Are you fed up with not being able to lose weight and keep it off? Sick and tired of constantly trying to figure out what to have for your next meal? Are you bored of the same old bland meals?
This letter will change all of that for you.
Did you know that in 2013, Americans spent an estimated $2.4 billion on weight-loss diets and pills, according to a report by research firm IBIS World?
Yet, still more than 2/3 of Americans are overweight or obese. So what’s going on here?
Well, one of the largest studies on this topic out of UCLA found that people who diet typically lose 5% to 10% of their starting weight in the first six months, but between one-third and two-thirds of them end up REGAINING more weight than they lost within four to five years.
Why does this happen?
First, when you eat foods that trigger inflammation inside your body – like many diet and processed foods and even seemingly healthy foods like whole grains and soy – your adrenal glands pump out the stress hormone cortisol. Over time, this chronically high level of cortisol prompts your body to store more fat around your stomach and vital organs.
Also, worrying out about what to eat is another form of unneeded stress that leads to elevated cortisol and eventually increased belly fat.
Tumblr media
Second, leptin is a hormone that is produced by your fat cells, which tells the control center in your brain (known as the hypothalamus) that you’re “full” and have enough “energy” to function.
Normally, when you eat, your fat cells increase in size slightly, and leptin is released, telling your brain to STOP eating.
However, when you’re overweight or eat processed foods that contain brain-disrupting ingredients like sugar, fructose, MSG, or aspartame, your hypothalamus becomes resistant to leptin.
That means that your brain NEVER gets the message that you’re full and so you feel like eating everything in sight. Your brain’s “off switch” no longer works properly.
So…can you see why eating common “diet” and processed foods (and being overweight) is so dangerous?
Tumblr media
Have a look at most of the people you know that have gone on a diet or obsessed about counting calories. Have a look at women and men who choose the low-fat yogurt, the margarine over butter, or think they’re doing good by drinking diet sodas.
Now, you tell us: have their bodies changed at all in the past 90 days? We’ll wager you said, “No,” And you would be correct.
And that’s because most people can’t keep themselves from eating forbidden foods for long…so when they do, they BINGE, taking in a ton of “bad” calories all at once.
The result is simple – MORE fat on your hips, thighs, belly, and everywhere else!
If you’ve ever found yourself in this situation then please know that it is NOT your fault.
Why? Because good people just like you have been misled and lied to by the food and diet industry. You’ve probably even been brainwashed to believe that low-calorie diet foods are “smart” options because they supposedly help you lose weight…quickly and conveniently.
Just pop them in the microwave or open the box…and enjoy!
But the TRUTH is that sneaky food companies vilify health-transforming whole foods because they supposedly take too long to make…and so they force their man-made products on you as the quicker, healthier solution.
(We’ll show you otherwise in just a moment. So keep reading.)
According to a 2006 study in the Journal of Marketing Research, people who saw a “low fat” label on a food package ate up to 50% more of that food in a sitting than people who didn’t. No wonder diet foods make us fatter!
Tumblr media
And a 2010 study in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association found that the actual amount of calories in frozen diet foods was an average of 8% higher than what was listed on the label, and that items served in restaurants had 18% more calories than the menus said they did!
The TRUTH is that the diet industry is in the business of making you scared of real, wholesome food and getting you addicted to their quick-fix (yet dangerously fattening) artificial products.
Living off “low calorie”, “low fat”, and other “diet” foods NEVER works in the long run. And it drives you crazy in the process!
Have you ever heard of the French Paradox? It was a catchphrase, first used in the late 1980s, that referred to the paradox that French people have a relatively low incidence of obesity and disease, while having a diet rich in delicious natural foods, including saturated fats.
How could this be?
Here we are in North America obsessing about every little calorie and avoiding the very foods that are helping the French stay lean and healthy.
Michael Pollan, in his book In Defense of Food, explains it best by saying:
“…not any single nutrient, but the combination of nutrients found in unprocessed food; not any one nutrient, nor the amount of carbohydrates or fats or proteins, but the whole length and breadth of nutrients found in “natural” foods as opposed to “processed” foods.”
Tumblr media
Eating REAL FOOD made from scratch is how the French and most indigenous cultures around the world have remained lean and healthy.
And that’s exactly how YOU will do it too. And the best part is that you don’t have to spend all day in the kitchen.
We’ll show you how in just a moment…
I (Yuri) used to live in France and experienced their culture and delicious foods firsthand. And I can tell you that calorie counting and diet foods were never a part of their diet – until they recently adopted more American dieting ideals.
And the best part is that we’re going to show how to enjoy the fat burning and health benefits of eating delicious “real” meals in just minutes per day!
Now, we’re sure you understand how important it is to eat real food. We’re not going to insult your intelligence.
Tumblr media
But we also know that one of the reasons many people don’t do what they know (ie. eat better quality food) is because most healthy recipes either taste like cardboard or require too much time to prepare.
It’s certainly a lot easier to order take out or rip open a bag of chips when you’re stressed or tight on time.
We get it.
But what if you actually craved delicious, whole food meals? Meals that are simple super to make and that dazzle your tastebuds. And best of all, meals that take mere minutes to make…that you could turn to in a pinch.
Both Amy and I are naturally quite lazy so we completely get not wanting to spend all of your time in the kitchen. Yes, we love good food but we’d rather have it sooner than later, right?
That’s why we only create delicious whole food recipes that burn fat and take no time at all to prepare. We’ve quickly become known for providing the BEST quick and delicious healthy meals that burn fat.
Recipes and meal plans that work for the busy, over-30 man or woman who wants equally FAST results… without spending all day in the kitchen, counting calories, or the same old bland recipes.
Listen: We don’t spend more than a few minutes preparing our meals. We’ve got 3 young boys (and ourselves) to feed so we don’t have time to mess around. But we also love great tasting food that’s good for us and that’s exactly what we’re here to provide for you as well.
Are you tired of feeling like a prisoner to impossible dieting rules and bland health foods that take forever to make? Are you tired of beating yourself if your diet isn’t “perfect”? Are you done feeling guilty for enjoying foods that actually taste good?
If so, then the “Food Freedom Formula” that is integral to this program will finally give you the FREEDOM (and mouthwatering, healthy meals) you’ve been craving for far too long.
Let us quickly tell you about the 3 tenets of our Food Freedom Formula:
Tumblr media
Is that something you want?
I bet it is.
This is truly the ultimate done-for-you solution for quick and delicious healthy meals that burn fat…without counting calories, feeling guilty about food, or spending all your time in the kitchen.
It takes the frustration and thought out of meal prep and resets your body’s natural ability to start “burning” every ounce of unwanted fat…
…fat that has been “trapped” inside your body for years.
And yo u’ll get to do this all while savoring delicious dinners, sensational smoothies, healthy “wonder” breads, and even irresistible homemade desserts as often as you like.
Whether you’re looking for paleo or vegan options, you can enjoy the most delicious healthy meals that will please your tastebuds and sizzle away fat. And you’ll get the daily meal plans and grocery lists to make eating yummy, fat-burning meals as easy as 1-2-3.
As a leading holistic nutritionist, health expert, and New York Times bestselling author who’s helped more than 500,000 men and women to amazing health over the past 15 years…
I (Yuri) can tell you that the most important thing you can do to lose weight and keep it off is to focus on the QUALITY – not quantity – of the foods you eat. That means calories matter little if you eat foods that are packed with high quality nutrients.
And that’s what my wife (and fellow nutritionist) Amy and I have spent so many years compiling for our clients. And now you get to benefit from it as well in a way that simplifies your life and allows you to enjoy great tasting food once again.
Here’s what a few of our clients have said about delicious, fat burning meals:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Eat your way to a new healthier you with Yuri, Amy, and their team’s fantastic recipes! Yes you can eat and love it along with loving your newfound energy and body!! I did and I am!!!”
– Nadine Miral
Tumblr media
“I thought that I could never stop eating bread and cheese, but now that I’ve started using these recipes, I can’t imagine eating any other way. Most meals can be prepared in less than half an hour, and they taste great. More importantly, I feel so much better. My acid reflux and IBS symptoms have improved tremendously, and so far I have lost 23 lbs!”
– Michelle Urena
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I have been so impressed with all of the recipes on this plan. They’re simple to make and all very satisfying. I especially love the Creamy Tomato Soup with Sausage, my kids love it too and that is a big plus in my household!”
– Hillary Lambrecht
Having helped more than half a million people to amazing health and lean bodies over the past two decades I’ve seen it…I’ve tried it…and I keep coming back to what really works:
Eating real food in a way that is simple, tasty, and nourishing. No deprivation or complicated dieting schemes.
Did you know that most people have been duped into believing that secret diet foods are required to lose weight and that eating real wholesome foods takes too much time, is too expensive, and is too complicated?
Well, that’s exactly why I’ve put this together Fast Fat Burning Meals cookbook!
Tumblr media
You deserve to feel FREE and no longer held hostage by stupid diet “rules” or meals that are impossible to make.
Unlike traditional cookbooks that simply “fire hose” hundreds of time-sucking recipes at you – that are likely more suitable for professional chefs…
The simple “done-for-you” recipes and meal plans inside our cookbook give you fast, fat-burning results, while allowing you to once again enjoy your food – without the guilt!
And you can feel like a hero in your kitchen because they’re so easy to prepare.
Ah…doesn’t that just feel great?
You just have to be willing to follow the recipes and simple meal plan and your body will take care of itself. There are no complicated meal plans, counting calories or points, or gimmicky diet foods found inside.
Why? Because none of that nonsense works…and you know it.
Every shady marketer, diet book, and food company wants you to believe there’s some kind of shortcut to the body and health you desire. They’re full of it. You’re too smart to buy into that, right?
Remember, Amy and I are in our mid 30s. We’re extremely busy raising 3 young boys (under 5 years old), and are on a mission to serve millions of people around the world. We don’t believe in stupid, time-sucking diets or laborious, tasteless recipes.
Tumblr media
We put this solution together with busy men and women like us (and older) in mind, and it’s specifically and uniquely tailored to provide you with quick and delicious healthy meals that burn fat.
People like Patrick Diaz…
A busy new dad who for years struggled with being severely overweight. However, following these types of delicious fat-burning meals he lost 30 pounds in just 42 days!
Or look at Michelle – another one of our client’s who was always tired and bloated because she relied on convenient processed foods for most her meals.
After just 21 days she noticed increased energy and that her pants were looser. She even fit into an old pair of skinny jeans!
Tumblr media
By day 42, her cravings were gone and she had lost 13 pounds, 4 inches, and 6% body fat!
And it’s these same real food-based meals that will slow the aging process, help you lose years of “trapped” fat, add a pep in your step, and overcome food cravings that may have held you hostage for years!
You’re going to eat anyways so you might as well be eating foods that create the body you want.
And just know THIS…
Over the past 15 years, we have seen the same common “stories” told over and over again…
“I’m too busy and I don’t have time to prepare healthy meals”
“I don’t know how to eat healthy”
“Eating healthy is too expensive”
“I’ve tried everything…I simply can’t lose weight!”
We want you to realize that these stories are just that – stories. And if you have been telling yourself one or more of them, they will hold you back from achieving the health and body you want!
That’s going to stop today because:
The Fast Fat Burning Meals cookbook is a simple, proven system that works for anyone at any age, without overhauling your life.
That means you can prepare delicious healthy meals for yourself and your family without becoming a slave to your kitchen or blowing all of your money on expensive foods.
Amy and I use these recipes to make dinner together with our kids and we have a blast. Most importantly, we look and feel better than ever.
And so too have our clients all around the world. Here’s what a few of them have to say:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“These healthy but oh-so-delicious recipes are the number one reason why I decided that going gluten- and dairy-free is not so bad after all. I couldn’t have done it if it wasn’t so delicious! These meals are amazingly delicious, they make me feel so much happier, healthier and more energetic. They completely changed the way I look at food and eating.”
– Judite Senkane
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Eat your way to a new healthier you with Yuri, Amy, and their team’s fantastic recipes! Yes you can eat and love it along with loving your newfound energy and body!! I did and I am!!!”
– Nadine Miral
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I’ve been everything from vegan to paleo and tried all sorts of eating plans. Yuri’s fat burning meals have been the easiest to make, follow, and most importantly enjoy! They are delicious and straightforward, and easy to incorporate into my busy lifestyle. Moreover, I can make them for my husband and he has no complaints either!
– Kate Skeith
Although we’ve helped hundreds of thousands of men and women around the world to radiant health, know this:
We aren’t genetic freaks. We both had to overcome years of terrible eating habits. And we certainly don’t spend all of our time in the kitchen.
In fact, up until her mid-twenties, Amy struggled with her weight. In college, she exploded past the typical “freshmen fifteen” by packing on a total of 30 lbs in just one year.
It didn’t help that she also worked at McDonalds’ flipping burgers as a teenager. Growing up on fast food and rarely ever having a meal at home that was made from fresh foods, was a ticking time bomb that eventually forced her to body to pack on stubborn weight.
Tumblr media
For years, she tried every diet under the sun. She would lose some weight here and there, only to put it back on (with interest) shortly thereafter. It seemed like the more diets she tried, the more weight she ended up gaining afterwards. By following the latest “low fat”, “low calorie”, and other diets-of-the-day she likely did more harm than good.
Then, one day, Amy snapped.
She was gearing up for a hockey game. Getting undressed in the locker room with all the other girls, she felt embarrassed about her body. She was certainly more comfortable hiding under her hockey equipment. At least she thought so.
As she started to “gear up”, she slid her legs through your hockey pants and pulled them up. But they wouldn’t budge! She couldn’t believe it. She couldn’t even fit into her big hockey pants anymore. She felt like running away and hiding in a cave. She knew something had to change.
Then there’s me:
Tumblr media
I certainly wasn’t always a highly sought after health and nutrition expert or New York Times bestselling author… and I certainly wasn’t always a regular guest on shows like Dr. Oz or The Doctors.
Growing up, my terrible diet caused me to suffer from a host of health problems that I thought would simply take care of themselves because I was so active.
Instead, my digestive problems, eczema, asthma, and low energy eventually erupted into a full-blown autoimmune condition, in which my body attacked my hair, leaving me complete bald from head to toe just before my 17th birthday. I later discovered that this was largely caused by my diet and eating a lot of supposed health foods.
Because of our mutual struggles growing up on foods that are known dangers to the human body, Amy and I have always been passionate about learning the truth about what creates optimal health and a lean body. We wanted answers to our problems and those answers came rushing in when we returned to school in our mid-twenties to study holistic nutrition.
Since discovering the life-changing health and nutrition secrets from that schooling, Amy has lost years of stubborn weight, had to buy smaller hockey pants, and kept off the weight even after multiple pregnancies. And both of us are leaner and healthier than we’ve ever been.
Tumblr media
And we’re motivated more than ever to keep eating this way so that we can provide our kids with the best start in life as possible. Something neither Amy nor I had growing up.
It just so happens that the very meals that have kept both Amy and I super lean and our entire family healthy are the SECRET to helping you burn more fat as well.
Amy and I are not genetics freaks (as we just showed you) and the recipes and meal plans that you’re about to enjoy inside this cookbook haven’t just transformed our bodies and health…
They’ve also done so for countless other men and women around the world as we showed you above.
The same exact system that produced the above results can give you the health and body you want as well. But how?
No matter how much weight you have to lose…no matter if your hormones are a mess…and even if don’t think you can lose weight and keep it off…
You can! And you will because:
Our “unique” whole food recipes help your body in TWO specific (and powerful) ways:
They cool deadly inflammation, and
They rebalance your hormones and re-establish normal hormone-to-brain communication that puts an end to cravings, insatiable hunger, and excess fat storage.
And this is crucial since we’ve already shown you that eating the wrong foods that disrupt your hormone and create inflammation are the very cause of your weight gain!
Thus, eating foods that fight inflammation, like the ones that are abundantly found in our Fast Fat Burning Meals cookbook, is vitally important at helping you beat belly fat.
In fact, ALL of your hormones will start to function properly as you start eating the right kinds of foods…
The result…effortless weight loss!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, here’s the really good part (and ladies, listen up!) You are in TOTAL CONTROL — you simply eat when you want and stop when you’re full. At last, your body works as it should and you are in control of what you eat – not the other way around. You enjoy complete peace of mind knowing that every meal and necessary shopping list is provided for you. No more guesswork. Doesn’t that feel awesome?!
I know, this sounds so incredibly simple… and it is. You see, you might be confused right now about how to eat to lose weight…in a way that is actually easy and healthy for you.
There are so many super-complicated diets and recipes out there that are not as healthy as they’d like you to believe – it’s enough to confuse anyone! And it’s not your fault.
So many magazines print the most confusing, and downright STUPID diet plans and recipes (loaded with inflammatory and hormone disrupting foods) we’ve ever seen! It’s no wonder the nation is growing fatter by the year, and people have no idea how to eat well.
Our motto is: radiant health and lasting weight loss begin in YOUR kitchen with clean, simple, and great-tasting whole foods.
Tumblr media
So, let’s recap what we’ve learned so far:
Since your body is truly made in the kitchen, the fastest way to lose years of “trapped” fat is to have “done-for-you” recipes and meal plans based on real, whole foods that fight inflammation and reset your body’s hormones to function properly. NOT counting calories, relying on fleeting willpower, or turn to “diet” foods that send a wave of toxins into your body that disrupt your ability to lose weight and keep it off…and drive you crazy in the process.
The mistake you absolute MUST AVOID is obsessing about calories and depriving yourself of delicious REAL foods. Because, if you do, it’s only a matter of time before you rebel and eat everything in sight…causing you to pack on even more fat!
The solution is to focus on eating high-quality foods that are fast and easy to make so that obsessing about calories becomes unnecessary. Remember, low-calorie “diet” foods disrupt hormones in your body and create excess inflammation, which forces you to store fat and eat more. By contrast, eating delicious (even higher calorie) REAL food lowers inflammation and helps your metabolism reset so that it can naturally release unneeded fat. And you get to actually ENJOY your food again!
The results have been proven for centuries by generations of men and women who ate real food found in nature. Not the processed crap that you see on TV and down most aisles in the grocery store. Now, YOU can have the exact “blueprint” to give your body exactly what it needs to shed fat and feel amazing! And it’s easier than ever before. Just eat!
Tumblr media
Unless you’re a NY times bestselling nutrition author and health expert who knows exactly the right foods to eat for cooling inflammation, resetting your hormones, and releasing “trapped” fat, OR…
You’re a trained chef who knows exactly how to make mouth-watering healthy meals in a matter of minutes, OR…
You already have a proven “done-for-you” daily meal plan with itemized grocery lists that’s actually getting you the fat loss results you want, THEN…
You simply cannot find anything like the Fast Fat Burning Meals cookbook anywhere on the planet but on this page.
Sure, you can find copycat approaches to meal planning online. And there are certainly no shortage of cookbooks at your disposal. If you really wanted to, you could order every cookbook on Amazon and try figuring out which ones will help reshape your body. You could do that…but why?

Go it alone, and you will end up confused and frustrated…and you’ll end up right back here where you are right now. Amy and I have seen it time and time again – people try and do it on their own without our super simple recipes and daily meal plans.
The results are NOT pretty.
Sure it sounds easy to “eat healthy” and that you can probably get similar solutions elsewhere. But let’s get real: if that were true, you would have done so already and would look and feel exactly the way you want.
Without using our “Food Freedom Formula” your body will continue to struggle with excess inflammation and messed up hormones that are preventing you from losing weight and feeling more youthful.
That’s because our Food Freedom Formula is highly specific and requires eating (and omitting) exactly the right foods. It requires adhering to a simple-to-follow, yet specific, daily meal plan that is proven to melt fat.
You can’t just slap a bunch of recipes together and expect great results. That’s what amateurs do. Pros follow a proven plan that is developed by experts who have discovered the “formula” to quick and lasting results.
That’s what Amy and I have spent the last 15 years mastering. Now, for less than the cost of a greasy pizza you can tap into our expertise and enjoy the quickest, tastiest, and healthiest meals that burn fat – quickly!
There are some people we simply do not want to give a copy of our cookbook to… and we mean NO offense, but we just don’t want you to waste your time and money. Fair?
Tumblr media
You think “simple” means we’re going to “hand deliver” these meals to your front door. Dream on. You are the one that has to take a few minutes each day to prepare your meals. We’ve done everything for YOU except shop, chop, and cook your food…making it as easy as possible for you to meet us half way.
Tumblr media
You don’t want to improve the way you are eating. We cover some very simple, basic dietary improvements that you will need to make to see results come extra fast. These are essential, especially if you need to lose weight. Nothing radical, but still…you will not be eating pizza, French fries, and ice cream and wake up with the body of your dreams.
Tumblr media
You don’t love great tasting REAL food. Both Amy and I are big time foodies. We love good food that’s actually good for you…and that’s what we specialize in creating for you. If you want to rely on “diet” foods that come in a box, then isn’t for you.
Tumblr media
Or, you refuse to move away from counting calories and worrying about grams of fat. Once again, calories matter very little when you eat the right nutrient-rich foods. Sure coconut milk contains more fat and calories than margarine, but you know which one is better for you, don’t you? So let’s agree to just eat natural, whole foods without fussing about that nonsense.
Tumblr media
Or, you are just one of those folks who will buy the cookbook and then let it sit on your desktop and never put it to use. Please, don’t waste your money if that’s the case. However, if that IS the case, just realize you’re only going to gain more and more weight…lose control over your diet…be held hostage by food cravings….and perhaps even become ill…unless you do something about your diet and health, starting today.
Tumblr media
Look around you…drive down any major street…walk through any food court…
What do you see?
Nothing that will support your goal of eating healthy and losing weight. In fact, the onslaught of terrible fast and fattening convenience foods is exactly why Amy and I are determined to get these simple, healthy fat-burning meals into your hands.
We know you’re pressed for time. So are we. We know you don’t want to give up delicious foods. Neither do we. And we know you’re done with all that calorie counting nonsense, right?
We want you to succeed and we want to make it easy for you to incorporate fast, healthy fat burning meals into your life.
That’s why we’re giving you this to you TODAY at such a ridiculous discount.

Wheat-Free Wonder Breads ($17 value)
Who doesn’t love bread? Sadly, most breads are terrible for your health, create high levels of inflammation, send your blood sugar soaring, and force your body to store excess belly fat.
Well, not anymore! Now, you can have your bread and eat it too with our delicious gluten-free, wheat-free “wonder breads”. You can enjoy these delicious breads until your heart’s content because they’re 100% healthy, loaded with fiber and protein, and take less than 30 minutes to bake in the oven. You’ll enjoy breads like our “Guilt-Free Super Bread”, “Delicious Dinner Rolls”, and mouthwatering “Banana Bread” – just to name a few.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
21 Slimming Smoothies ($17 value)
Making a smoothie is one of the easiest ways to send a surge of easily absorbable “high-power” nutrients into your body. In just one glass, you can get 3-5 servings of vegetables and fruit, which provide the vital nutrients your body needs to stay lean and healthy.
In this recipe guide, you’ll get 21 of our best slimming smoothies that you can whip together in 3 minutes or less so that you can get on with the rest of your day and feel about yourself. These are perfect to use when you’re pinched for time and want a quick, healthy “liquid” meal.
Tumblr media
Then, we’ve got to be really honest with you. We don’t like sugar-coating the truth and that’s part of the reason we’re so good at helping people transform their bodies and health.
Moments from now, you could be transforming your relationship with food, eating as much of the right foods as you desire…all while burning more fat than you thought possible.
But here’s the thing:
You can keep doing exactly what you’re doing now. You can continue struggling to find the right recipes that are proven to prime your body to release “trapped” fat. You can count all the calories you want without seeing any difference on the scale. Your pants will still feel tight. And you’ll still be held hostage by food cravings and last-minute “convenience foods” decisions because you lack the right plan.
Your “obsession with food” will kick into full gear…all while others who are using our Food Freedom Formula are FREE from the shackles of dieting struggles. They’ll be in full control of the foods they eat. You won’t be.
The months and years will pass, and you will have LOST a golden opportunity to take advantage of a proven system…at the absolute lowest price that will ever be offered.
Sure, that may sound harsh but we’d rather be honest with you then pretend that everything is going to be ok if you try figuring this out on your own.
But never forget this:
Both Amy and I believe in YOU. We believe that you will make the best and only decision for your greatest chance at shedding years of “trapped” fat, eating healthy consistently, turning back the clock, and living a life full of energy.

Never Let Me Go [25/37]
A/N: As of next week I will be back in school. While this shouldn't affect my updates at all, the date of posting might change again. So for right now, the next update will be January 26th, although it is subject to change, it will for sure not be any later than that.
Trigger Warning: This chapter contains scenes of sexual assault, physical abuse, emotional abuse, and implied/referenced human euthanasia.
Chapter Twenty-Four – Survival
As time passed and his incarceration under the tyrannical rule of the trainer extended, Yuri began to truly believe that he had gone blind.
Perhaps they had done something to mess up his eyes, Yuri guessed, or poisoned him, but as Yuri tried to keep track of the days, he never saw a thing, save the occasional glint of his trainer's night vision goggles—which Yuri was beginning to believe it was actually a hallucination of some kind.
Yuri was only aware of the passage from one day to the next by the slow but steady progression of his pregnancy. First, in the form of deep hunger, satiated by the bread and vitamin water he was fed, and second by a near-constant nausea that made it difficult to keep anything down. Every time he vomited his trainer would punish him painfully, and by the middle of his second trimester, six of his fingers were in splints, for his trainer had decided that the most ideal form of punishment for his mess was breaking his fingers, rather than make him eat his own vomit—bad for the Alpha's Gift, he would say.
Yuri thanked his trainer with every new injury he gifted him with, as he wept through the excruciating pain.
Time was meaningless to the omega, who lay in darkness and silence, and tried to remember who he was in between session with his trainer. Saline tear tracks clung to his cheeks, and he no longer bothered to brush them away. His name was harder and harder to remember, worse after a session where he was addressed solely as Omega, and was forced to repeat over and over the mantra, I am no one.
He brushed a hand across his belly, which was now distinctly rounded. He sniffled, and stroked the skin like one might caress a beloved pet.
I will survive this, for you. My precious child. Regardless what they might say to my alpha, regardless what they try to make me believe, you protect me as much as I want to protect you. Somehow, I'll make sure that they don't take you away from me.
Yuri hoped that the growing fœtus could not hear the doubt in his thoughts.
~*~
A slamming door woke the omega.
Yuri, he thought to himself, I am Yuri Plisetsky. My grandfather's name is Nikolai, and my alpha is Otabek Altin. My best friends are Minami Kenjirou and Yuuri Katsuki.
The mantra rang through his head like an automated message. It had not changed in the months since he had begun it, but it no longer felt wholly accurate in his own mind.
When he woke, it was to nothing. The room was still black as pitch, and though still terrifying in many ways, he also felt as though his hearing had improved because of it.
The moment the belief materialized in his mind however, a hand ghosted across his thigh, and Yuri whimpered meekly, for he had not heard the trainer approach.
“Please...” Yuri whispered softly before he could think better of it, “please, don't...”
The moment the words slipped past his lips, a hand closed around one of his injured fingers, and tugged it back, making him cry out in pain.
“You know better, Omega,” the trainer murmured over Yuri's whimpers, his sour breath brushing over Yuri's cheek as he spoke, “who are you?”
“N-no one. I am no one.”
“Who owns you?”
“My alpha.”
“Do you have an alpha?”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“B-because I am a whore omega, and I manipulated my alpha into touching me. I used my heat to trick him. Omegas like me do not deserve the attention of an alpha.”
“Good, Omega.”
A hand fell to his hair, now a few inches past his shoulders, and the trainer stroked him like a cat.
“You have changed so much in so little time, Omega,” the trainer said approvingly, and Yuri felt his insides tingle with pleasure at the warm praise. “Do you know how long you have been here? A mere seven months. One like you usually takes years to properly break, but you learnt how an omega must conduct themselves in so short a time.”
“Alpha Otabek tried to train me,” Yuri offered in a small and meek tone of voice, and he prayed that he would not be punished for his brazenness. “But I did not wish to listen. Do you think his methods had something to do with it?”
“It is possible, Omega,” the trainer said as he continued to stroke his hair, “his methods were heavy-handed, yes, but if you had not bewitched him, perhaps you would not be here now.”
And if you knew the truth of how little your so-called methods have affected me, I'd never leave, Yuri thought, but did not allow his anger to show on his face as he leant into the touch with a soft catlike purr. He shut his eyes, though it made no difference, and acted as though there was nowhere in the world that he'd rather be.
A soft rustling sounded, and Yuri shivered a little as the trainer lay down with him, and spooned at his back. Immediately the trainer struck him sharply, and Yuri hissed as his face seemed to explode with pain, and he lifted a hand to his cheek as he tried to keep from crying out, though a string of pained whimpers still managed to slip past his lips.
“You must always welcome the touch of your alpha, Omega,” the trainer chastised, “you know that.”
“I'm sorry, Alpha,” Yuri said softly, and forced his body to still as he lay down again, and pressed one hand to the small swell of his stomach. “I...forgot myself.”
“It is only the gift of Alpha Otabek that saves you from a proper punishment, Omega,” the trainer reminded him as he pushed up Yuri's shirt and caressed his bare stomach. “Remember that.”
“Thank you, Alpha Otabek,” Yuri whispered aloud, and his trainer chuckled softly.
“Yes, good boy.”
For what felt like hours the trainer held him, childlike, and stroked the swell of Yuri's belly. As he did so, he whispered poisonous words into Yuri's ear, while Yuri struggled to remind himself of the untruth of them.
“We are beginning to narrow down the list of candidates for your adoption,” he purred, and Yuri bit his lip to stifle a whine of anguish. His hands tensed into fists as he struggled to keep still. “I have some applicants coming in as far away as India, New Zealand, Canada, Thailand...even a few local petitioners within the city and surrounding areas. Not to worry, regardless what your child is born as—alpha, omega, or beta—it will know its place, just as you are now learning your place. Do you remember your place, Omega?”
“My place...is where an alpha tells me to be,” Yuri mumbled, his voice shaking a little with disgust at himself as he spoke.
I don't believe it, Yuri thought fiercely as he clenched his eyes shut. No matter how broken they think I am, I know that that isn't true. I am worth more than my ability to reproduce.
“Good, Omega,” the trainer praised, and Yuri felt himself shiver, this time with pride at the trainer's extolment. “Yes indeed, your place is wherever an alpha wishes it to be. So if they want you on your back, or on the floor, or in their bed, or at their dinner table, it is right. You are as important to us as a household appliance, or book on a shelf—you are there for us to use, at our discretion.”
Yuri fought a shudder at the painful words. To be viewed with the same respect as a toaster made him feel sick to his stomach. He knew he was more than that—wasn't he? Had he not spent the last months vehemently reminding himself that he did have worth? Was it true? Was he worthless after all?
No, I'm not, Yuri thought fiercely as he tried to block out the words of the trainer. I have worth. Otabek cares for me, and I'll get to him again...somehow.
“We also have people beginning to line up, so to speak, for you,” the trainer continued, his hand trailing down Yuri's side as he spoke, finally resting on Yuri's ass, and he gave it a firm squeeze. Yuri did his best to suppress a shiver of disgust at the familiar touch. “A few local alphas who know of you, and even one who has an omega harem licence...I think the harem life would be best for you, don't you agree? You can slut your ass around all you want...isn't that what you like, Omega?”
Yuri bit his lip and bowed his head, and did not answer. The hand cupping his ass squeezed harder, to the point where it was almost painful.
“I asked you a question, Omega,” the trainer said with a sickly false kindness, and Yuri whimpered. “The polite thing to do would be to answer me. Would the harem life suit you?”
“Yes,” Yuri replied brokenly, a sob in his voice, “yes, Alpha, it would.”
The alpha planted a kiss to the side of Yuri's throat, and again he struggled with the urge to shiver.
“Good boy.”

Yuri woke to noise.
He did not know what time it was, or even what day it was, and he was surprised to find himself alone.
Where is Alpha? Yuri wondered, his stomach turning over with nervousness, then he shook his head violently. No, no, the trainer. Not Alpha.
The sound increased, and Yuri realized that it was coming from outside. He had never heard external noise before, and it took him a moment to work through his surprise enough to shift from his mattress and feel his way over to the door, where he pressed his ear to the wood, and listened.
“This is such bullshit!” the trainer cried, “we can't move him now, I'm not finished with him yet, and he is still weeks away from giving birth!”
“This is not my call, Bohuslav!” yelled the other person, “these are orders from above. Omega Yuri Plisetsky is to be moved to another retraining facility in St. Petersburg. Trainer Popovich will be picking him up in two weeks, and so we need to begin reintroducing him to light. They were quite adamant that we do it slowly, so as to not mess up his sight.”
“Did you mention that pulling omegas out of retraining to set them up with another trainer almost always yields poorer results?” his trainer asked. “We may as well euthanize him.”
“Don't be ridiculous, Bohuslav,” the other man admonished. “You know that this country no longer culls its omegas. Even a broken toy has its uses. Go, don't make me tell you twice.”
Yuri listened to the trainer stomp off, grumbling the whole way. He inched back from the door and stood slowly. With one hand resting protectively on his baby bump, Yuri padded quietly back to his mattress and laid down on his side.
So I'm being moved, Yuri thought as he clenched his eyes shut. Why? Was it my fault? Or was it something Alp—the trainer did? Would it be safe to try and run like this? What if I fall and hurt the baby?
Yuri shivered, and tears stung his eyes. He didn't know what to do. He rubbed his hand across the small swell of his stomach. It was so much smaller than he remembered Yuuri's to be. He didn't know if that was good or bad.
My absolute top priority is protecting this child, Yuri thought as his fingers tensed against his belly. No matter what, I will not fail them. I know that somehow, we will get out of here, and I will find your father, and we will watch you grow up. Not some stranger.
A faint flutter in Yuri's stomach of gentle movement, and he smiled.
“Don't worry, baby,” Yuri whispered as softly as he dared, “I will keep you safe.”
An hour after Yuri had nodded off, he was awoken abruptly to the sound of the door of his room slamming open. Even through his shut eyelids the dim light of the hall made his eyes ache, and he let out a whine as he tried to shield his gaze from it. Another crash and the light disappeared as Yuri sat up, shaking a little from shock while he listened to his trainer huff with annoyance.
“Get up, Omega,” he snapped, the anger and impatience in his tone making Yuri even more nervous than usual.
What did I do? Yuri wondered as he stood up as quickly as he could, and a wave of dizziness washed over him as he tried to reign in his panic. Why is he angry with me?
Wait, no, no, Yuri shook his head a little, this is not my fault. He's just mad because I'm being moved. Even if he blames me for this, it's not my fault.
Yuri wished he could believe it.
“Show me your hands, Omega,” the trainer commanded, and Yuri extended the requested limbs towards the sound of the trainer's voice without question. He grimaced as he pawed at four of the broken fingers, and removed the splints from two of them.
“Does this hurt, Omega?” he asked, bending the fingers he'd freed roughly, and Yuri winced as the stiff digits ached dully.
“A little, Alpha,” he replied, then tensed, bracing himself for pain, and was shocked when none came. Instead he released Yuri's hands and jammed something against his face, and it took Yuri a moment to realize that it was a pair of some sort of glasses. Yuri was almost tempted to ask what they were for, but curbed the impulse, instead choosing to bow his head and wait for whatever training was to come during this session.
Click.
A dim light filtered through tiny pinholes in the blackout glasses, and Yuri squinted as his eyes stung.
“Alpha, what...?” Yuri broke off abruptly as he remembered the conversation he'd overheard.
“Trainer Popovich will be picking him up in two weeks, and so we need to begin reintroducing him to light.”
Oh.
“We are to prepare you for transport,” the trainer said sourly, and dropped something near Yuri's bed with a loud albeit familiar clatter. Without another word the trainer turned and stormed from the room, leaving the light on, and slamming the door so hard it almost felt as though the room shook from it.
Yuri dropped back down onto his mattress and pawed at the ground by his bed, scooping up the bottled water and now-familiar loaf of bread. He wanted to look for it, and use his eyes for the first time in months, but staring into the dim light hurt, and still he was restricted to using his other senses to get around. He could not decide whether or not this was supposed to help him or yet another torture, but either way he did not even think to remove the glasses—something told him it would hurt more if he did.
Yuri bit into the seed-studded loaf, and chased down the large mouthfuls with the lemon-flavoured water. As he sat there, he tried to draw his legs to his chest, but his pregnant belly got in the way of him accomplishing the task. With a small sigh of defeat Yuri stretched out his legs again, and tried to look through the pinholes, only to grimace in pain again and look away from the tiny beams of light.
What is going to happen now? Yuri wondered as he took another bite of the loaf, ripping a chunk of it away from the whole with more ferocity than was probably necessary. Another trainer...what is this Popovich like? Will he hurt me? Will he scare me? Will he really take my baby away?
Yuri whimpered as he dropped his food and water, his appetite gone, and he wrapped his arms compulsively around his middle. The idea of losing this child was almost too much for Yuri to bear. When it happened—if it happened, Yuri was quite certain he would truly break down.
“I promise to protect you, my child,” Yuri whispered, his voice weak as the water from his bottle gurgled out of the bottle, across the floor, and soaked into the mattress. “I won't let anyone ever hurt you, I swear it.”
A tear trickled from Yuri's eye, and he lifted a hand to wipe it away. The move caused him to dislodge the glasses, and the light that filtered in made his eyes sear painfully. Quickly, he fixed the glasses on his face, and returned his hands to his middle, almost as though he intended to rock his unborn child to sleep.
Sniffling, Yuri laid back down and clenched his eyes shut. Fantasies of Otabek, of their little family reunited filled his mind, and slowly lulled him to sleep.
