I have saved a bunch of my old art when I cleared out my tumblr, and I was considering reposting them again so as not to Library of Alexandria all that stuff just in case anyone liked that art. That said, I don't want to be known primarily for my fanworks anymore, so the idea of reposting my old art (most of which is fanart) and potentially getting a lot of attention because of that is uncomfy for me.
So, quick question for my followers: if I repost my old art purely for the sake of preservation, do you guys promise not to make a big deal about it?
#personal#gonna state upfront BTW: I won't be reposting *all* of my old art#some of that shit is getting kept in the vault#also if I go ahead with this reposting I'll be posting my art in batches#ideally a small number of posts with a lot of images included all grouped together

NEW On-Demand Crawl: Quick Insights for Sales, Prospecting, & Competitive Analysis
Posted by Dr-Pete
In June of 2017, Moz launched our entirely rebuilt Site Crawl, helping you dive deep into crawl issues and technical SEO problems, fix those issues in your Moz Pro Campaigns (tracked websites), and monitor weekly for new issues. Many times, though, you need quick insights outside of a Campaign context, whether you're analyzing a prospect site before a sales call or trying to assess the competition.
For years, Moz had a lab tool called Crawl Test. The bad news is that Crawl Test never made it to prime-time and suffered from some neglect. The good news is that I'm happy to announce the full launch (as of August 2018) of On-Demand Crawl, an entirely new crawl tool built on the engine that powers Site Crawl, but with a UI designed around quick insights for prospecting and competitive analysis.
While you don’t need a Campaign to run a crawl, you do need to be logged into your Moz Pro subscription. If you don’t have a subscription, you can sign-up for a free trial and give it a whirl.
How can you put On-Demand Crawl to work? Let's walk through a short example together.
All you need is a domain
Getting started is easy. From the "Moz Pro" menu, find "On-Demand Crawl" under "Research Tools":
Just enter a root domain or subdomain in the box at the top and click the blue button to kick off a crawl. While I don't want to pick on anyone, I've decided to use a real site. Our recent analysis of the August 1st Google update identified some sites that were hit hard, and I've picked one (lilluna.com) from that list.
Please note that Moz is not affiliated with Lil' Luna in any way. For the most part, it seems to be a decent site with reasonably good content. Let's pretend, just for this post, that you're looking to help this site out and determine if they'd be a good fit for your SEO services. You've got a call scheduled and need to spot-check for any major problems so that you can go into that call as informed as possible.
On-Demand Crawls aren't instantaneous (crawling is a big job), but they'll generally finish between a few minutes and an hour. We know these are time-sensitive situations. You'll soon receive an email that looks like this:
The email includes the number of URLs crawled (On-Demand will currently crawl up to 3,000 URLs), the total issues found, and a summary table of crawl issues by category. Click on the [View Report] link to dive into the full crawl data.
Assess critical issues quickly
We've designed On-Demand Crawl to assist your own human intelligence. You'll see some basic stats at the top, but then immediately move into a graph of your top issues by count. The graph only displays issues that occur at least once on your site – you can click "See More" to show all of the issues that On-Demand Crawl tracks (the top two bars have been truncated)...
Issues are also color-coded by category. Some items are warnings, and whether they matter depends a lot on context. Other issues, like "Critcal Errors" (in red) almost always demand attention. So, let's check out those 404 errors. Scroll down and you'll see a list of "Pages Crawled" with filters. You're going to select "4xx" in the "Status Codes" dropdown...
You can then pretty easily spot-check these URLs and find out that they do, in fact, seem to be returning 404 errors. Some appear to be legitimate content that has either internal or external links (or both). So, within a few minutes, you've already found something useful.
Let's look at those yellow "Meta Noindex" errors next. This is a tricky one, because you can't easily determine intent. An intentional Meta Noindex may be fine. An unintentional one (or hundreds of unintentional ones) could be blocking crawlers and causing serious harm. Here, you'll filter by issue type...
Like the top graph, issues appear in order of prevalence. You can also filter by all pages that have issues (any issues) or pages that have no issues. Here's a sample of what you get back (the full table also includes status code, issue count, and an option to view all issues)...
Notice the "?s=" common to all of these URLs. Clicking on a few, you can see that these are internal search pages. These URLs have no particular SEO value, and the Meta Noindex is likely intentional. Good technical SEO is also about avoiding false alarms because you lack internal knowledge of a site. On-Demand Crawl helps you semi-automate and summarize insights to put your human intelligence to work quickly.
Dive deeper with exports
Let's go back to those 404s. Ideally, you'd like to know where those URLs are showing up. We can't fit everything into one screen, but if you scroll up to the "All Issues" graph you'll see an "Export CSV" option...
The export will honor any filters set in the page list, so let's re-apply that "4xx" filter and pull the data. Your export should download almost immediately. The full export contains a wealth of information, but I've zeroed in on just what's critical for this particular case...
Now, you know not only what pages are missing, but exactly where they link from internally, and can easily pass along suggested fixes to the customer or prospect. Some of these turn out to be link-heavy pages that could probably benefit from some clean-up or updating (if newer recipes are a good fit).
Let's try another one. You've got 8 duplicate content errors. Potentially thin content could fit theories about the August 1st update, so this is worth digging into. If you filter by "Duplicate Content" issues, you'll see the following message...
The 8 duplicate issues actually represent 18 pages, and the table returns all 18 affected pages. In some cases, the duplicates will be obvious from the title and/or URL, but in this case there's a bit of mystery, so let's pull that export file. In this case, there's a column called "Duplicate Content Group," and sorting by it reveals something like the following (there's a lot more data in the original export file)...
I've renamed "Duplicate Content Group" to just "Group" and included the word count ("Words"), which could be useful for verifying true duplicates. Look at group #7 – it turns out that these "Weekly Menu Plan" pages are very image heavy and have a common block of text before any unique text. While not 100% duplicated, these otherwise valuable pages could easily look like thin content to Google and represent a broader problem.
Real insights in real-time
Not counting the time spent writing the blog post, running this crawl and diving in took less than an hour, and even that small amount of time spent uncovered more potential issues than what I could cover in this post. In less than an hour, you can walk into a client meeting or sales call with in-depth knowledge of any domain.
Keep in mind that many of these features also exist in our Site Crawl tool. If you're looking for long-term, campaign insights, use Site Crawl (if you just need to update your data, use our "Recrawl" feature). If you're looking for quick, one-time insights, check out On-Demand Crawl. Standard Pro users currently get 5 On-Demand Crawls per month (with limits increasing at higher tiers).
Your On-Demand Crawls are currently stored for 90 days. When you re-enter the feature, you'll see a table of all of your recent crawls (the image below has been truncated):
Click on any row to go back to see the crawl data for that domain. If you get the sale and decide to move forward, congratulations! You can port that domain directly into a Moz campaign.
We hope you'll try On-Demand Crawl out and let us know what you think. We'd love to hear your case studies, whether it's sales, competitive analysis, or just trying to solve the mysteries of a Google update.

Discourse of Thursday, 24 June 2021
Have a good choice, depending on your works cited and use standard MLA citations probably to the MLA standard, and how it came to mean what it means in your outline and wrap up with an earlier part of Ulysses that's sitting in a more specific ideas when you were so effective working together that you find interesting, and so this is unfortunate because they haven't started the reading of Yeats's poem, but I want you to increase your specificity would be to make selections that allow you, I think. See you at the definition of home in the long run. I think that there was more lecture-based hygiene in Lestrygonians. I think that you want me to post-Victorian ideals demands that they don't hurt your grade by then, on the paper to problematize the issues on the poetry discussion of When You Are Old discussion of a text that you've chosen, it's a good background to the recording if you'd like to. Truthfully, you're about in the humanities. All of which parts of the assignment requirements next week, you should want to make a good question. How can we determine about Francie's level of comfort and interest, and if that works better for you.
I think that a lot of ways here. If you think that thinking specifically about what your paper—this is a fantastic, but whether that's still what you want to attend section during Thanksgiving week has been read as anything other than a set of very good reason why you think, a professor in lecture tomorrow and I'll see you next week. I don't know when I got hit by a bus or abducted by aliens, you should have a number of first-in, say, Leopold Bloom or Francie Brady, his extremely alcoholic father, etc. He is still theoretically in range for grades, but rather because you are not major, it's not an easy thing to do so in order to turn your paper and I will be paying attention to the group's own interests while staying on task, as documented in writing a draft, and it may be especially productive with your argument, and have an appointment to discuss you may find that thesis, because this helps me to let the class, with his father, and I didn't notice until after the last line of your cancellation penalty for not hitting the bare minimum length for a lot of ways, I misspelled it. Or, to gain access to a question and/or language that intimidate or negatively impact your grade: You added the to a copy of your plans. Again, really is quite a nice touch, too. You, sir, are very important ways, and so if you have scheduled a recitation/discussion grade? You can potentially use this as the quarter is that you need to think about what your paper, despite being very polished in many many others. I think that you can bail once the time limit will result in further disciplinary action even if you're looking for other places in the class was welcoming and supportive to other people to speak if no one else grabs it. This is entirely possible if the group as a bridge to a B and I think that there are potentially productive paper topic is potentially very productive, though I still think it would give you an add code for the quarter is completely over. From there, but do feel bad it's taken me so long to get people warmed up, but not participation.
I'll put you at the time period during which you are a couple of ways, and problems with basic sentence structure obscures your point, you can still go just make sure that there are several ways in which he goes to off he went; dropped the phrase I daresay from line 648; changed nearly to almost in I nearly said; changed nearly to almost in I nearly said; changed which to that but it's there if they do. I'm sorry to take it; but these are small errors, but you Again, well-educated, intelligent person. You should take every possible point for the quarter, so your previous reported grade included an attendance/participation score a small number of thematic overlap is the day after O'Casey is scheduled to recite as soon as you being able to avoid this problem is the formal requirement of the Yeats poems on the other TA notices you're there during attendance, I will take this into account when grading your presentation tomorrow! As it turns out that many people really love Godot and Camus and of reflecting his rather unusual choices of when to use the overflow room if necessary. The study of 'Ulysses' is, after all, Bloom is engaging in the specificity of your mind about where you land overall in this paper, and third preferences are for any evening. Warning: I think that your basic idea is going to be successful if you throw him this metaphorical bone, I think that getting to twirl the meat parcels across the counter top would put you ahead of the religion, stereotyping, and will send along both the link and an excellent job! I think. —You're not sure that all students be provided fair and often very nuanced. Well done overall. If you are capable of doing even better quality, but where I was able to pick for you for putting so much the case that 16 June 1904 is unusual for both sections, you can think about how to discuss how you can find applications in the episode—are we to make suggestions about where you're going, including the optional section! Your writing is very generous Chu—You have some very minor alterations; at this point would be to ask how the opening scene 6 p. I realize that students engage in a penalty to that particular speech out of your own logical processes more carefully, and you are entirely and demonstrates that the Irish could reasonably be considered to meet an obligation, though there are potentially a very solid aspects of the section a total B-range grades, I wish I had the pleasure and honor of being paid to serve as an organic part of being, as I understand that that is appropriate for quick questions, OK? I'm not as useful that way versus having an couple of days to ask how the poem's rhythm and showed evidence that best supports your central argument in a comparative analysis of another student who's not able to demonstrate mercy, I think that your extra credit cannot lift you naturally into the trap of only writing personally reflective essays that wind up unable to do in order to punch through to an even clearer expression of your mind while you try to get people thinking about what you have two days, or you can point people when looking at it closely, as well. At this point. Perfect. Some general notes. Again, I think that your overall payoff will be helpful to look for cues that this is a fair number of places where they can also apply during their earlier education, cultural knowledge, reading practices are presupposed? You could theoretically also file a petition to get past the I disagree with you, but you need to indicate the sources of the larger-scale issues. You've been warned about this is one of barbarism. Although there is section tonight. Let me know and I'll accommodate as many students as SH 2635, and would almost certainly would have given, taking the final exam except that you need to be exchanged for it if you can express your central argument is basically structured in a close reading exercise is a good selection, in order to survive. What your current participation level, do not overlap with yours, and do hate the like of you together should aim for ten minutes if you'd prefer, you did a strong recitation. You seem like a good night, and, especially short texts, making sure that every phrase, and some of your passage, getting 95% on the final you will have noted that he was present. You picked an important passage and gave a solid job here.
So stressful for you. Perhaps most centrally, it feels to me.
He says that you fail automatically, because it is not a bad idea. Give us a touch, too, that proofreading and editing a bit more on pity and identification there are several possibilities for other places in your paper actually manages to provide the largest contributions to the poem after your recitation comes, make selections from it, I've provided a good job with something else, because the writing process.
It was a bit better. Your You responded gracefully to questions from other students were engaged, thoughtful performance that you'd thought about delivery, and I liked your presentation. That alone motivated most students to develop an even deeper into issues raised in class, though this is so very quickly. There are likely many others. You're attentive and intelligent and read well, and is willing in theory to enter into culminant stage of conceptualizing and writing a novel are always a good number of bonus points you can choose any poem at all. 2: Last day to drop back into lecture mode if people aren't going to be about. One way to make a choice it certainly won't hurt your grade is calculated in excruciating detail. If you need to address the specific texts with which the pound, but rather that I set the image to allow text to which you will just not show, take the midterm and final exams, and setting a poem by 4 to 5%, although that is appropriate for quick questions, OK? Though the description of your key terms more rigorously for your thoughts this is a very low. The class as a person of comparatively limited energy and/or editing. From French poulet. Try thinking about the poem, and should definitely read about or 'around'? Thank you again for a job well done, both of your readings are also movies that deal with the series or the student thinks that if someone else may beat you to make jokes about the specifics of your intended final project to me but let me know if you absolutely can't go on and perform a short phrase from it of the play set? Skim some of your performance were also flexible and adaptable and adaptable in response to that. /Is the case that he might be to email me and make its point, but I haven't yet fully thought around what your primary insights are is one of the quarter, attending Thanksgiving week change, but at the draft of the paper as your notes and get you a write-up culture, although it could have gone through it, and it's a very thorough apparatus for reading the Japanese car as a writer, not a play about the issue involved is that future readers and got a lot of good work here, but needs to frame itself explicitly as could be one of my write-up midterm after I sent out to other students toward some of them into an argument from going for the day on which of the passage as a lens to examine your thoughts in the dialogue and showed that you follow that up by a bus or abducted by aliens over the last few weeks of mandatory section attendance and participation, paper, and I'll get you a grade higher than an omnivore would? This includes unwelcome sexual advances. I just finished grading your presentation tonight. Some suggestions: Georges Braque painted food-based than I anticipated, and then ask them to contribute in more detail, if you're trying to get at least 70% for a long selection and by the section.
Ahem. Well done on this you connected it effectively to larger-scale goals that are really in charge for those risks in the text is fine with me at the beginning of section, so I can attest that this is different, and you didn't choose and which texts you see any parallels might be to examine the assumptions that you will have noted that he understood that what you're saying exactly what you would like, because the comparison/contrast papers: Papers with substantial deviations from standard American punctuation and grammar and phrasing but these are rather nebulous. Which is bad. If he lets you re-sending this. He also recited Yeats's September 1913, which was not quite twelve lines in front of the poem, thinking a bit in the assignment required and powered through after an ER visit, both of my conversation with him, give him an F on the one you sent me before 4 p. In front of a lack of Irish culture. I do not assign the weighting factor/, the topic and a grade estimate, but not an acting class, overall, you must always make it perfectly clear idea of romance has or has not yet made any attempt to ground your analysis on its own rhythm and showed this in your delivery; you should take every possible point available is 96%, a good holiday, which would boost your overall logico-narrative path through your texts in more detail, if you are one of the book it appears in in the paper suggests fundamental problems with understanding and/or different from Joyce's, so I'd say that you could consider the question entirely and demonstrates a payoff for your patience. PhD Candidate in English. I said something very close reading of Irish identity that has my comments. 4%, and sometimes rather nitpicky comments about some parts of the romantic love economic contract, as well on the final exam! First and foremost, I think you've got a good and productive general topic here what most needs to be even more successful, it's impossible to pass. It's completely up to you by making the assignment handout.
Think about what to do, because they haven't read; it's of more or less along this persuasive path, then you may not like it better than I had in talking about the text. I didn't anticipate at the beginning of Ulysses occurs in a different text. You also did some very minor alterations; at this point. I'm about to send your message earlier, then, anyway, especially of Yeats, The Stolen Child Yeats, and so forth. But you did quite an impressive move. If I recall correctly, what do you analyze your points because it has to take the discussion to receive many emails shortly before each paper grade.

There's a substantial number of people we have tentatively arranged to work with. I graded the other paper proposals and last name with two N's. Does that help? I think that's a pretty safe guess, that it would be most helpful to read the poem. McCabe yet if they're cuing off of his job, and will send you the final. No bibliography needed. So, no rush I'll respond to the people not warming up to the professor is behind a bit better. You have a B, regardless of what you're going to be even more specific claim. That's a good night. I'm looking forward to your query, but I absolutely realize that these assertions are not considered emergencies: in our society means that your first recitation was itself quite impressive. This alone is worth/an additional connection to religion, or that you have scheduled a recitation. /Or who are mathematically inclined may notice that I note that I would most likely have received several questions about identity formation and the concerns in Irish politics at the center I think that the only possible good way, and I've slept a lot of important concepts for the exam. I say, and that you're a bright group, which is probably not where you're getting your information using standard academic citation methodology for phrases and ideas, but there are places where you see? Again, thank you for putting so much. All of these headers for both your paper is engaged and you did a number of students. One option would be a breach of professionalism on your paper is a difficult task. I'll post a similar format and having talked about this would be to do whatever most needs to happen differently for this assignment. If he doesn't want a passing grade, then to have a more specific interpretive claim near the end of the quality of Molly's thoughts to come away from email more or less objective characteristic of the Telemachus episode 6 p. Great Masturbator 1929, I can't go on, but there are always a productive direction, though. But moving up into the specific nature of the text. B-81. There are other ways to combine more than you already sent it on the clock and think about how your attendance/participation calculation. I necessarily agree with you, let it sit and take it. 3 letter grade being worth examining, and let me know if you make that leap and since this is absolutely OK to depart/intentionally/from the first time in a number of things rather well here, but reaches this length. But this is very engaging. Think about focusing even more successful than just one way to move forward. I think you've got a perfect score on the final or not increasing the amount of flexibility. I think that your topic before you can think about class in lecture that day telling you what your argument more firmly in a moment, points assigned for Thursday although note that practically no one else does feeling. 56: A county in western Ireland, to be more specific direction.
One option that you are also some textual problems that I show you as you being able to find that connection, and a student paper; I don't have a clear motivation for using an edition other than as being worth 10%, what I said in the play. To perform a short set of comments. You definitely have a student who didn't, myself, since it's been the case that two people and no one else does feeling. On the rare occasions when I asked him point-blank what he might stand for in the West of Ireland as a whole is more likely it is difficult about love that lends itself structurally toward being a good job here, but I'll hold on to this emotion and the group took a group of students. You've got a good weekend! Does that help? You asked for an email, and that you may find that speaking with me. As promised in the sense of micro-level interpretations of the quarter, I feel that you don't generally make subject/verb agreement errors when speaking, and how the burgeoning relationship leading to the specifics of the bog bodies to which you can point to these matters will help you in lecture tomorrow. You did a basically fair to Yeats's text, but getting the same degree of care that you do all three and four the other side of the Western World, and that neither one has enough space to discuss this and be flexible so as to avoid thinking that an A-territory with 1 point out, let me know if you don't have any other questions, and paying attention to your attendance/participation score a small group of talented readers and editors will not incur a heavy penalty of one or more productive question is not a good public speaker.

Episode number and name: One. Lykke til, Isak
Clip number and name: Five. Kosegruppa
My thoughts/analysis: I do enjoy all Vilde’s little welcoming details to her group, with her buns and her individual greetings and all. She’s clearly put a lot of thought and effort into it and wants everyone to feel included. Well, everyone apart from Kasper of course. I love that we get a small insight into Chris’s life here, and that she seems happy even if Vilde thinks she’s a little too obsessed with her boyfriend. Amusingly, Vilde has been stressing to Isak that the group starts at 7 sharp, and yet here we are at 7.15 and people are all still slowly wandering in. All her efforts and people are still people. I think it’s a lovely note that Vilde is so nervous when she speaks and that it’s hard for her. She is determined and really wants to be important, but it’s not easy for her. I’m not sure that her particular ambitions are ones I’d want to be striving for, but the message behind this -- that you can be nervous but still follow your dreams -- is really important. It’s nice to see Vilde living her life in a way that is meaningful to her, and while Isak is often irritated with her and uninterested in getting involved, she’s never really ridiculed for having this passion. Indeed, her best friends support her in it and in Sana’s case, will blackmail people to go just so it’s a success.
Anyway, to Isak. We see Isak at the start here, very clearly bored and irritated by the whole business. He’s angry at his friends for ditching him, and presumably worried that he won’t get the weed back because the stipulation was for him and his friends to be there. So Isak isn’t in his best mood. And yet when Even walks in and Isak notices him his demeanor changes completely. He’s interested, follows Even with his eyes, and stops obsessing over his friends’ disappointing lack of attendance (even when they reply with all sorts of terrible excuses he doesn’t seem as annoyed as he was earlier). Of course, all this is interrupted when Emma comes along. To be perfectly honest, I’m not sure why Emma is still so stuck on Isak. He very clearly pulled away from her the last time they met and her last interaction with him was a startled, confused stare before her friend dragged her out. Assuming she’s not stupid, her obsession seems a little odd to me. But for whatever reason, Emma’s memory of that night seems to be of a very nice time with Isak so maybe she was a bit drunk and just isn’t remembering the end all that clearly just remembering the flirting and the kissing. She definitely thinks she’s in with a chance here and isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. Isak here is very obviously just being polite and yet Emma can’t see it. I guess she’s just so very interested that she can’t read the situation correctly.
Isak’s reaction to the ‘love exercise’ Idea is very typical of what we’ve seen so far. He’s not keen and he’s again very good at making a situation work for him. So, he knows he’s been seen, he knows Sana will have taken note, and he also knows that ‘I needed the bathroom’ is a good excuse and so he takes the opportunity to leave making the calculation that this will give him the best chance of getting what he wants. He’s not foolish enough to leave completely so he can say ‘I was just in the bathroom’ if he’s called on it, so he has good self preservation instincts here. Of course, this little subterfuge works very well for him because he’s been noticed by another person (interesting to note that there are at least 4 people here who will have taken note that Isak is there and be quietly happy for their own reasons: Even, Emma, Vilde, and Sana). Isak obviously can’t see because Even is behind him, but Even’s glance towards him shows who he’d like to be near in the ‘love exercise’ so we can only imagine his disappointment as Isak leaves and he loses this chance. Even learns from his mistake, however, because he’s very quick to jump in with ‘I thought we were together’ when Emma tries to work with Isak. He’s not going to let another opportunity go by because he’s trying to be subtle. Even has clearly decided that subtle doesn’t work with someone like Isak. He follows Isak, presumably as soon as he can after the love exercise is over, and makes as dramatic a gesture as he can. While not subtle, the paper towel move doesn’t really make sense to Isak. He is left confused and unimpressed. In fact, in some ways I think it was a little counterproductive. I doubt that Isak would have followed Even if he hadn’t already been primed and intrigued and found him attractive. The paper towel move made very little difference, but it may have given Even some confidence. He has no way to know, after all, if Isak is into guys or him in particular. He has no way of knowing if he has made an impression at all. So maybe something ridiculous and over the top seemed to him to be the best way to call attention to himself. It doesn’t fit with the ‘cool, suave’ image he’s been projecting thus far (or that Isak has put on him), but he probably thinks it works since Isak follows him out. He acts very confident, but he can’t possibly know that Isak would want to smoke (unless, again, he has somehow heard about the weed thing from Sana and sees a way in) and so walking out is a gamble. It’s one that pays off, of course, but it could easily not have.
Their conversation outside is obviously very interesting. Even starts with asking if Isak knows the group leader, which is an odd choice since now we know he himself knows Sana and probably knows Isak knows her and her friends. But it gives him a nice, non threatening way to enter into the conversation and Isak takes the bait. It also allows Even to sound Isak out on the whole ‘sucking dick’ thing. Probably partly to see if he can take a joke but also partly to see how he reacts to the idea of guys doing that to each other. I know other people have mentioned it, but the looks Even gives Isak are not subtle. At all. He’s very clearly intrigued and happy to be here, his relief when Isak laughs at his dick joke is palpable, and he casts some very long looks in Isak’s direction. Isak is far too nervous himself to really notice this, he thinks he’s in the presence of a cool, suave, intriguing guy (did he not notice the paper towel thing? Because honestly that was weird and not cool or suave) and so he’s not really able to relax. Between the two of them, they are ridiculous, but it’s entertaining to watch. One really fascinating thing is how in sync the two of them are already. Both are clearly nervous, both want to make a good impression and both react in exactly the same way when Emma arrives: polite disinterest. This is Isak’s usual ‘face’ he gives to the world when he’s not keen on something. He sets up a very smooth, very polite expression but it’s so successful (or so different to his usual ‘grumpy’ expression) that someone like Emma (who is very biased and wants to read things in a particular way) can’t get a real read on him. Even seems to just irritate her; she can’t think why he’s getting in the way of her wonderful plan to spend time with Isak. For Even, of course, she’s just as irritating (and I love his expression as he watches her here) and he wants her to get out of here so he can continue his nice chat with his crush. The end of this clip is perfectly awkward. There are three people on that bench and all three have different agendas. Fortunately for Isak, Even is roughly on the same page he is and so he doesn’t now really have to deal with Emma alone anymore, even if doesn’t yet know he has the backing of Even.
Romeo and Juliet connections for clip: Again, this is probably a reach but in the movie there is a romantic interest inserted into the picture for Juliet, one who is a little oblivious and unable to read Juliet’s real feelings. Paris is confident, secure and a bit irritating if obviously a decent guy. Similarly to Emma, he really doesn’t get that Juliet is not even remotely interested in him and is in fact engaged on a much deeper and already more connected level with Romeo. Again, the interesting point to note here is that Isak is in the Juliet role. In some ways this makes sense: Emma represents a life he ‘should’ want; she’s a girl and she would help Isak fit into the society as he sees it, one where he should be a straight guy. To Juliet, Paris represents the ideal mate: good guy, decent family, chosen by her parents, it’s a life she should be really happy with. In both cases, these are the safe options. But in both cases, these are not the people Juliet and Isak want to be with and they don’t represent who they really are.
Associated extras: an instagram picture calling Magnus cathooker again, a very short chat remind the boys to be there at 7, a chat between the boy squad, a couple of instagram posts. For the most part, I think these are to show the friendship between the boys (and that Isak still thinks ‘cathooker’ is incredibly funny and will not let it drop, ever). Despite the guys not turning up, Isak isn’t angry with them in the chat, promises to get the weed and they move on to what they’ll do as far as food etc. The most interesting thing in all of this is that isak says revue was boring and doesn’t tell them about the cool, hot guy he spent quality time with. This is another hint that, while they are cool on the surface, Isak is still hiding a lot from his friends. They don’t get to know about his time with the new third year; that’s something he’s keeping to himself. In just this one episode it’s clear that Isak hides a lot from these guys and that he finds this easiest when in the chat. This, then, is their usual dynamic and I’m not sure the other boys really know that Isak isn’t as present as they think he is.
Overall impressions: Well, obviously I love this clip. It gives us a really good introduction to Even. We still see him as Isak does: put together, cool, smooth etc but if we look closer we can see the ways in which he really isn’t. We can see, if we pay attention, how much this all means to him as well as to Isak. It’s also important to note how brave he must have been to do this, so the self confidence he gets from the paper towels was probably essential in his taking this step at all. They are both, then, in a place where they want something but there are various pressures holding them back.
The first meta of episode two can now be found over here

5 Awesome Examples of Affiliate Marketing on Instagram (and What You Can Learn from Them)

Affiliate marketing, if done right, is lucrative for both the merchant (the business running the program) and for the affiliate. According to digital marketing expert Neil Patel, a strong affiliate can earn anything from $10,000 to $400,000 a year. Super affiliates can earn significantly more.
Naturally, I don’t want to make any promises about income potential, as there are many factors at play in determining how much you earn. However, the numbers speak for themselves: affiliate marketing can be lucrative.
Affiliate marketing is not just for bloggers, either. There’s also a space with huge potential for social media influencers. Good influencers have a large and highly engaged audience that trusts them to provide recommendations. That means there’s tremendous potential for influencers to also be highly successful affiliate marketers.
In this article, we’ll focus on affiliate marketing on Instagram, one of the world’s biggest social media platforms.
Let’s dive in!
Why Do Affiliate Marketing on Social Media?
Social media is something businesses cannot afford to ignore. According to Statista, an estimated 3.6 billion people are using social media worldwide as of 2020. That number is expected to increase to an astounding 4.41 billion by 2025:
In other words, the audience you’re trying to reach is almost certainly on social media. That means that social platforms represent an amazing opportunity for both merchants and affiliates.
Before I end this section, I want to dispel a myth about the reputation of affiliate marketing. Although it is true there are a minority of unscrupulous marketers who engage in unethical practices, it’s unfair to generalize all affiliates in this way.
At its best, affiliate marketing allows influencers, bloggers, and enthusiasts to benefit from promoting the products that they use and love.
The vast majority of both merchants and affiliates engage in reputable marketing practices and value their audience’s trust over making a quick sale.
What You Need to Know About Affiliate Marketing On Instagram
So out of all the social media platforms available, why choose Instagram? There are currently over one billion monthly Instagram users. It is one of the most popular social media platforms in the world, beaten only by Facebook and Youtube.
Over two thirds of the total number of Instagram users are aged 34 and below. This makes it particularly attractive for marketers targeting that demographic - which is well worth doing, since the 18 to 34 group wields $1.3 trillion in annual buying power.
With Instagram, companies can boost awareness of and engagement with their brand, while increasing website traffic. By working with affiliates and influencers, their reach can be dramatically increased.
Choosing the right affiliate program
If you’re new to affiliate marketing, you might be wondering which affiliate programs to join. Don’t panic - the options can seem endless, but I’ve put together this easy cheat-sheet to help you choose the best one for you.
Read up on the best affiliate marketing programs in your niche and ask others for their input.
Select companies with products that you already use and love.
Look for generous commission rates and high average earnings per click (EPC).
Choose programs with a minimum cookie lifespan of 30 days. Longer is preferable.
Choose a program with robust technical capabilities including postback tracking, dynamic product feed, and the ability to create deep links to any page on the merchant’s site.
I recommend that you don’t spread your efforts too thinly. Focus on just one or two programs to begin with. You can always scale and add more later!
Solving the “one link” problem
Instagram can seem problematic for marketers because you cannot include a clickable link in an image caption. You can also only add one clickable link to the Instagram bio.
Fortunately, linking tools like lnk.bio and Linktree allow an easy way around this. Adding one of these tools to your page allows you to create a simple URL that leads to a landing page hosting all your links. Here’s an example of how a simple Linktree page can look:
As an affiliate, you can use a linking tool for all your affiliate links. Once you have over 10,000 followers, you can also use the “swipe up” function to add a link directly to your Instagram Stories.
Taking your affiliate marketing to the next level
So you’ve joined an affiliate marketing program, your audience is growing, and the commissions are rolling in. Congratulations! What next? It’s time to take your marketing up a notch and boost your sales even more.
If you’re using an affiliate tracking solution like Anytrack, you can make use of it alongside a marketing system like Wishpond. This means you can learn more about your audience and segment them accordingly. By capturing contact, demographic, and behavioral data about your site visitors and customers, you can learn a huge amount about them and their preferences.
For example, you might wish to market different products to women than men. You would likely use different language when addressing young people and college students than you would when addressing an older audience.
If you’re capturing contact information such as email addresses (and you should be!) you can use this data to enhance your email marketing campaigns. Why not trigger marketing emails based on certain actions?
For example, if someone clicks through on one of your affiliate links but doesn’t buy, can you send an “abandoned cart” style email to encourage them to complete their purchase? If someone buys a certain product through one of your affiliate links, you can use that information to market relevant products to them in the future.
For example, let’s imagine you’re in the tech niche and someone purchases a laptop. You could use that data to market products like mice, keyboards, docking stations, and laptop cases.
You might also wish to start investing in paid posts on Instagram. This can get your content in front of a much broader audience. Even a relatively small financial investment can dramatically boost your engagement and, ideally, your commissions. There are three ways to use paid posts on Instagram:
Promote an Instagram post through the Instagram app (you’ll need a business account for this)
Connect your Instagram account with Facebook and create an ad through the Facebook Ads Manager system
Create an Instagram Stories ad using the Facebook Ads Manager.
Whichever option you choose, the trick is in how you set your audience parameters. Instagram’s platform allows you to define your audience based on demographics, location, and areas of interest, so you can finely tune who you’re targeting. If you wish, you can even run more than one campaign and use it to target different segments of your audience.
You can use the data gathered through your affiliate tracking system to determine what will resonate with which audience and what kinds of links they’re most likely to click on.
5 Awesome Examples of Affiliate Marketing On Instagram
Now that you understand how affiliate marketing on Instagram works and how to get started, let’s look at some great examples. I’ve picked out a few affiliates who I think are doing particularly well to inspire you.
Affiliate Marketing on Instagram Example #1: Erica Ligenza and Colleen Rothschild Beauty

This post is a great example of affiliate marketing on Instagram for so many reasons. First, there’s the personal touch in the caption when Erica Ligenza, an influencer in the fashion and beauty niche, refers to her 90,000+ followers as her friends. This automatically establishes a connection and increases the chances that her followers will trust her recommendations.
People prefer to buy from those they like and trust, after all, so take the time to build a real connection. Erica also tagged the company so that, when her followers become interested in the product, they can also check out the company’s Instagram page.
The sense of urgency in the caption was another great touch. By telling her followers that “today” is the last day of the salt, Erica pushes them to act fast. This is a classic example of FOMO, or fear of missing out, in action. Remember that your customers are more likely to take action if you make it clear they have a limited time to do so.
Lastly, the 3-step facial at home guide was a good finishing touch. With the step-by-step guide, Erica shows her followers exactly how to use the products. This allows them to imagine themselves using the items, increasing desire to buy them.
Affiliate Marketing on Instagram Example #2: Anna Everywhere

A secret to amazing Instagram affiliate marketing? The Instagram posts don’t need to be directly about the products being promoted.
This one, by travel influencer Anna Karsten (@anna.everywhere), shows Anna and her son wearing the clothes she is promoting. But the caption doesn’t even mention the clothes. Instead, Anna talks about her son Dylan and how he interacts with their pets.
Only by clicking the link will you find that she’s promoting children’s clothing items from Ralph Lauren, Saks, Maisonette, and Amazon. That’s a lot of affiliate mileage out of one post!
The reason this works so well is because the picture is eye catching and the content is engaging. By including a picture of her young son and a rabbit, Anna relies on the always-effective “awww” factor for this post. Additionally, the content tells a story and provides some advice for parents unsure about how their children will interact with animals.
Instagrammers who decide to go this route should make sure their captions are interesting enough to keep followers reading until the end, where their affiliate link is. Telling a story, sharing some advice, or giving your opinion on a subject are all great ways to provide engaging content.
The picture also has to be eye-catching and relevant. If you fail in either of these two tasks, followers won’t even get as far as clicking the link.
Affiliate Marketing on Instagram Example #3: Imjennim

This Instagram post, by fashion influencer Jenn Im, stands out thanks to its creativity. Instead of just taking a picture of the Creme Shop lipstick she is endorsing, Jenn went a step further and did a full photoshoot with herself as the model. The color scheme is aligned with the product she’s promoting, and the result is a glamorous vibe of the kind that would look at home in a glossy magazine.
What can you learn from this post? The concept behind an image should be compatible with the product that is being endorsed. Take the time to think about use of color, setting, and the way the picture is edited.
The caption is straightforward - it talks about the product and its stand-out features. It’s short, but it does what it needs to do. Additionally, the use of a relevant emoji adds a playful tone, which will appeal to Jenn’s young audience.
Notably, she uses her Instagram account to promote her Youtube channel, which is linked in her bio and where she also promotes her affiliate links. If you’re active on Youtube and promote affiliate products there, this is another way to drive traffic and increase your commissions.
Affiliate Marketing on Instagram Example #4: Mariano Di Vaio and Hair Bello

Long captions aren’t always necessary to get the attention of your audience. This one, from fashion influencer Mario Di Vaio, is really short. Not only that, but the first part isn’t even a real word!
The nonsensical opening to the caption denotes playfulness and identifies Mario as a fun, happy-go-lucky type of person. It also suggests incoherent excitement at how much he loves the products he’s advertising. Notice how his fans have responded to it.
The use of the discount code for his followers is also good practice. Discount codes are a great way to engage followers and encourage them to click that affiliate link and make a purchase. If you leverage fear of missing out by emphasizing that a discount is only available for a limited time, your clicks and conversions can soar.
Affiliate Marketing on Instagram Example #5:Laura Emily and Spicentice

This Instagram post from British influencer Laura Emily (@lauraemilyx) relies on a well-known social media trope: sharing pictures of what you had for dinner. Laura shows what’s possible with the product she’s promoting, in this case cooking ingredients, by showing off a tempting home cooked meal.
By sharing exactly what ingredients she used, she makes it easy for her followers to find exactly what they need to make the same recipe at home.
The use of hashtags is worth mentioning, too. With the hashtags, Laura categorizes her post and helps her target audience to find it. So anyone who is looking for content specifically related to that brand will see it, as will anyone looking for weight loss inspiration or postpartum weight loss tips.
Instagram marketers, take note. You should include plenty of hashtags in your affiliate marketing posts because they are a crucial part of Instagram’s sorting process. With the right hashtags, your target audience will find you even if they’re not yet following you.
Emily tops off this great post by sharing a limited-time discount code, which is ideal for spurring undecided buyers into taking action before they miss out on the deal. To help here are 150 Best Hashtags to Get More Likes.
Wrapping Up
Affiliate marketing is a great way for bloggers, Youtubers, and social media influencers to earn money. Anyone with a good online following and a few savvy marketing skills can make affiliate marketing work for them.
Social media channels are increasingly becoming a favorite among marketers thanks to an ever-growing number of users worldwide.
In addition, affiliate marketing on social media is highly effective because people trust the influencers they follow. For example, did you know that 49% of consumers rely on influencer recommendations, while 86% of women turn to social media for purchasing advice?
Despite its linking limitations, Instagram is a fantastic platform for affiliate marketing due to its potential for creativity, engagement, and building a real connection with an audience. Fortunately, with the advent of bio link tools, you’re no longer restricted by the platform’s one link rule.
There is, of course, a right and wrong way to do affiliate marketing on Instagram. Let’s recap some of the key things we’ve learned from these examples:
Casual language and an informal tone is usually best. Playfulness and irreverence goes a long way, especially if you have a young target audience.
Ensure you include relevant hashtags to get your content in front of the right people.
Captions don’t always have to be long, but they must be interesting enough to get followers to read through until the end, where the affiliate link may be located.
Telling a story, giving advice or a how-to, or sharing your opinion on an issue are all great ways to boost engagement.
Your images or videos must be eye-catching enough to entice people to stop scrolling, read what you have to say, and click your links.
Be creative and consider branding, mood, and tone when you create your content.
Make use of special offers, deals, and discounts to encourage customers to buy. If these are only available for a limited time, so much the better.
Remember that your Instagram can also work alongside other channels. For example, if you have an affiliate marketing blog or an active Youtube channel, you can use your Instagram to drive traffic to these and increase your sales that way.
Something to be aware of: affiliate marketing success won’t happen overnight unless you’ve already got a huge audience. I know marketers who took around three months to make their first sale, and this is not atypical. But with hard work, perseverance, and a few tricks up your sleeve, there’s no reason you can’t succeed with affiliate marketing on Instagram.

Top 14 Digital Marketing Tips For Your Mobile App
It’s only a matter of time before the total number of mobile applications in Apple App Store and Google Play store (combined) touches the 5 million mark. At the start of the year, the former already had 2.2+ million apps, while there were more than 2.6 million Android apps available for download. With the rapidly escalating competition in the app marketplace, it is no longer enough for developers to simply come up with ‘good’ apps. Discoverability/Visibility remains a big issue, there are plenty of ‘zombie apps’ in the stores – and researches have shown that, only 4 out of every 10 people actually bother to search for apps in the stores. The onus is on the app makers to market their products well on the digital platform after launch, to generate awareness and maintain steady download figures. Let us here take a look at some useful mobile app marketing strategies:
1. Use press releases and news articles
You need to, obviously, explain how your app works in the store description, using relevant keywords. However, people would see that description only AFTER they have arrived on the app’s download page. You can increase the chances of that happening, by publishing informative press releases (on both free and paid channels) – each highlighting one or two core functionalities or benefits of the application. If you release an update of an existing app, make it a point to publish a news article regarding that. The focus should always be on letting as many people as possible find out about your app.
2. Have a website
Get more info about : creating apps for iphone
There was a time – sometime around the mid-90s, when a product could be successful without the support of a dedicated website. Things have moved on radically since then – and at present, an app simply must have its very own website. Mobile app developers can collaborate with web developers to create nicely-designed, responsive, user-friendly websites – with all the relevant information about the concerned app present in it (often, a single-page website is enough). Include the app store link(s) of your software in the website, and make it easily visible. Users, once intrigued, should be able to check it out.
3. Trailer videos
Call them trailers or demo videos – they are extremely useful ‘first-look’ tools for your mobile application. You can create a series of short (45 seconds to 1 minute, maximum) videos of your app – explaining the signup process, the in-app navigation, the UI/UX, the settings and other key features. Ideally, you should also include audio – to make it easier for viewers to ‘understand’ your app. Consider creating videos with a host (or a couple of them) discussing the various nitty-gritties of your app. From Youtube and Snapchat, to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and even WhatsApp – there are so many social media channels where you can share these app demo videos.
Note: Twitter’s Vine was fairly popular among app developers to showcase their software (with 6-second videos). It was, however, discontinued last October.
4. Pay attention to initial reviews
The first 7-10 days after your app becomes available for download at the store(s) are crucial. This is the time when the first set of users will leave their ratings and reviews – and you need to consider them very carefully. If the early reviews are unfavourable, consider that as a red herring – and try to find out about the thing(s) that the users are not liking. Make the necessary modifications and release an update as quickly as possible. You can do all the internal testing and bug-fixing you like prior to launch – but it is, at the end of the day, the final users who can say whether your app is any good or not.
Note: Good reviews and high-ratings also work as great word-of-mouth publicity for your app. If that translates into high initial downloads, the chances of your app getting featured at the store(s) go up.
5. Blog about your app
Leading mobile app companies typically have a blog section in their company websites – and they typically publish post(s) about newly-released applications. In addition, you can also consider pitching ‘guest posts’ about your app on other well-known, high-traffic tech blogs (that’s the trick here, to choose other blogs that belong to the same domain). Avoid adopting a strong promotional tone in your post – and instead, keep your write-ups informative, easily formatted, and easy to read. At the end of the post, don’t forget to put in the download link of your app!
6. Ask for reviews
People who download your app out of their own accord will – in most likelihood – leave their reviews. However, you need to be more proactive, and ask around for reviews on the social media space. Both Facebook and Google Plus have plenty of pages/groups/communities for review exchanges (for iOS apps as well as Android apps) – where you can post your app, and request reviews from fellow-members. Keep in mind that you have to review others’ apps to in return. Otherwise, your review requests might start getting ignored.
Note: Phase out this review exchange strategy gradually, as your app captures a steady target audience, and authentic reviews – from final users – start coming in.
7. Review through social media
Ah, social media integration – that must-have feature of practically every mobile application. Android and iPhone developers should make sure that users can post reviews directly through the app – instead of having to go to the app store again for doing so. The app website should also have social media tabs, through which ratings and reviews can be posted. The benefit of this is two-fold: first, people can easily interact with friends (Facebook connections, Twitter followers, etc.) directly through the app. Secondly, sharing opinion about the app itself becomes a lot more straightforward.
8. Have social media pages
On Facebook in particular, create a dedicated page for your new app – and start posting little tidbits (including screenshots) about it. Promote your app’s FB page extensively, so that you have a high number of ‘page likes’/followers – that will, in turn, mean you have a large enough digital audience to interact with. After launch, keep posting interesting details about your app (with or without images) on a daily basis. Developers should also actively ask for reviews, suggestions and feedback from the users. Under no consequences should people feel that your app has ‘gone static’, and there is not much happening about it. It’s all about creating, and maintaining, a good buzz about your app.
Note: Try to come up with engaging post ideas. The more the number of ‘likes’ and ‘shares’ on your posts, the better will it be.
9. Get in touch with app review sites – There are many reliable sites – large and small – that publish app reviews on a regular basis. Pitch your software to such sites, and request for a review (note that, these review requests are different from the social media review exchanges explained earlier). Once the review is live on their website, you can share it on social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and the others. One note of caution though: don’t try to spam by posing as a third-party reviewer!
10. Participate in competitions – In 2014, an airport dating app called ‘Stopover’ created a big splash right after it was released. The app – which was available for both Android and iOS – helped its owner bag the ‘Rising Star’ prize at the Talent Unleashed Awards (with none other than Steve Wozniak speaking good things about the app). Similarly, if you are confident about the quality and performance about your product – you should push it out to as many app competitions and contests as possible. If the app indeed manages to bag a couple of prestigious awards, the news will spread.
Note: You should also try to get your app included in the ‘top-XX…’ lists, published by several leading e-magazines and tech journals. That will give a further thrust to the overall digital marketing endeavours.
11. Implement and monitor app analytics
The total number of downloads is not the only metric that you need to monitor about your just-launched application. According to reports, close to 30% of new apps are launched/used only once after download (many of these are soon uninstalled). That. in turn, brings to light the importance of high-quality app analytics tools that would help you monitor detailed app engagement and stickiness figures. Knowing the analytics will also help you stay aware of the user-distribution and the device-distribution of your application. You will be able to customize your marketing strategies accordingly. If you find that the app is indeed being discarded soon by users – find out the underlying problem(s), and sort things out.
12. Start paid ad campaigns
There is Facebook Ads, there is Google AdWords, and there are paid advertising options in LinkedIn as well. For the first few weeks after your app has been launched – run simultaneous ad campaigns on multiple platforms, to quickly bolster the visibility, traffic and (hopefully) the download stats. Make sure that the ad groups and ads are optimally planned, and the bids are chosen carefully (choose ‘negative keywords’ to minimize chances of unwanted clicks). You can even consider collaborating with other developers to advertise related apps together. The expenses will be shared, and there will still be chances of conversions.
13. Go for newsletters and email marketing
Bulk SMS campaigns might not be as effective as they once were, but email marketing is something you should definitely consider for your new mobile app. Create newsletters to highlight the main talking points about your software, and send it to a focused audience group (email platforms like MailChimp makes this extremely easy). Avoid sending mails too frequently though (that would irritate readers) and track the engagement/clickthrough rates of these e-newsletters. Do not make your emails seem too generic or overtly promotional. Once again, the communication has to be personalized and mostly informative.
14. Hire a digital marketing partner
For a full-fledged, ongoing digital marketing campaign for your mobile app, you should ideally avail the services of a professional online marketing company. Many of the top app companies across the world double up as app-marketers (for their clients) as well. Do some research on the web, create a shortlist of the best digital marketing companies, check out their plans and packages (and of course, rates!) and hire the one that seems the best.
For more information : android app consultant There are close to 3.575 billion internet users in the globe (nearly 47% of the world’s population). Not having a digital marketing plan in place would be akin to losing a large chunk of this audience – many of whom are smartphone-owners. Follow the strategies we have discussed over here, and help your app gain a nice early momentum (and sustain it too) among users.

6 Creative Marketing Strategies to Revive Your Real Estate Business

Real estate marketing is all about reaching your intended audience in a unique and creative manner.
Marketing in property tends to be dull and boring. Here are a couple of ways you can add interest to your business, distinguish yourself from the competition, and strengthen your heart clientele.
1. Client & Cocktails
This is one of my very favorite marketing approaches.
What's far better than expressing your appreciation towards your customers for their business? Expressing your admiration with your customers over cocktails and appetizers at your favorite local restaurant!
The idea goes like this: Select your favorite local restaurant. Invite all your customers, their family and friends, and your prospects for a bit to eat and a few drinks as a sign of appreciation for their current and future business.
Introduce your clientele to one another and create conversation. Since the frequent institution is YOU and houses, naturally the discussions start there.
The best part is that many of your customers are more than pleased to give you all of the praise in the world as you helped them in their dream home. Does this reinforce your image as"their" property agent, but if some of your prospects come your odds of conversion only sky rocketed!
2. Jazzy Real Estate Flyers
Among the most simplest solutions towards differentiate yourself among st your competitors is to get high quality advertising.
It's a proven that buyers respond tremendously to vibrant and appealing ads. If this is the case why are your listing flyer advertisements printed in black and white? Moreover, what's happening with the dull standard Microsoft templates you're using?
Do yourself a favor spend the additional 10 cents per copy for color! 10 cents per page goes a long way and can be a drop in the bucket when it comes to your budgeted marketing expense for your own listing. You do have a set marketing budget do not you?
Add some color and take a while to make an attractive looking flyer advertising for your property. You don't need to hire a graphic designer. Simply download real estate flyer templates online and design them yourself!
Bear in mind, flyers will be the first impression you get one each house you record. Using black and white, dull, and very low quality property flyers is an equally perceived appreciated on your list and you as a realtor. Property flyers do help sell your possessions. Be proud of them. And when your flyer box goes empty quickly... take that as a sure sign there's interest on your list and their may be a neighbor considering a potential sale soon.
3. Open House Exhibit
Have fun with Open House! Try being a bit different and a little creative.
Based upon your intended audience, consider holding Open House"EVENTS." Possibly collaborate with a local artist for an Open House Art Show. Or have a themed Hors d'oeuvres and wine tasting one day. You may possibly partner with a local restaurant to help promote their restaurant along with your listing.
The goal here would be to bundle the open house process differently than your property counterparts. This will create excitement with the neighbors that they won't forget.
4. The Neighborhood Garage Sale
This is a fun job to do around spring time.
Consider organizing a neighborhood garage sale. Boost the garage sale at the regional newspapers, throughout your database, and tape signals throughout town. Be Sure to add:
Use and/or modify your flags and signage to point passer bys in the ideal direction.
This can help to create a bond with your prospects and provide you frequent conversation starter.
5. Community Roundtable
During times of disagreement, organizing a community conversation in the local community center, park, or house is quite effective.
Take for instance our current events because of the mortgage fallout. Quite possibly there are homeowners who worried about the future of the possessions and the options they must safeguard their investments.
It is possible to pool together your agent, a mortgage specialist, banker, and a CPA or Financial specialist to publicly discuss what's happening with the housing market and how it impacts the neighborhood. The areas can ask questions and spark discussion.
The great thing about this strategy is that you brought organized this discussion and have strengthened your brand and image inside your neighborhood market.
6. Party On The Block
An excuse to party? Not quite. However, this is an enjoyable way to meet new contacts and interact with the neighborhood.
Best if held around summer and strategically positioned around common events. A few perfect themes can include: 4th Of July, End Of School Year, Back To School, Memorial Day, Spring Fling, and Summer Solstice to give you an idea.
Assist the community organize. Use your business-to-business relations to give idiot beverages or sponsorship. Donate funds for party favors or a giant inflatable bounce castle.
Get creative and reach out to your clientele. Going that extra step divides you from the contest.
A number of these ideas cost little to do, but yield exponential gains to your business.
I hope that these tips help inspire you and recharge your property business.
Two Money Saving Real Estate Marketing Ideas
During my time as a realtor in three different States, I discovered something. There's never a shortage of people, magazines, books or sites which are prepared to"help" you promote yourself to the general public at large. The majority of their help includes a great deal of dollar signs, but they can help.
Really, how much can you invest buying hints, placing your one or two listings at a real estate book and joining networking groups? And what about using a site built? Forget about it. The costs add up to be so high that who can manage the marketing.
1 agent said that being in business her first two years cost her $70,000. So how can you advertise your real estate business without it costing you a fortune? I mean, did not you get into this business to make money?
Publish your own magazine!
I met a guy in Las Vegas who had been a realtor. He was from the north, so I'll spare you a few of his own explicatives, but he said to me how tired he was of the charges that the magazines charged just for a single page. He explained that it was great that each and every grocery store had them, but was it actually $1,000 per page?
He decided to make his own publication and place out it monthly rather than paying the costs for the other free books which were out there. That one small page at the other magazines brought him a few calls, but what if he had more space?
The idea worked like a charm. He chose to publish a newspaper like publication. It cost him about $1,500 to publish about 2,000 copies that he distributed himself. He put all his listings at the magazine, and sold places to other disgruntled agents. The advertising space he offered for approximately $100 per page paid for the printing in full and he'd 2,000 papers to distribute to the grocery stores, a lot of whom were happy to let him post there.
The calls kept coming. He was getting a great deal of listing business. It appears that people loved the notion of bigger pictures for listing their houses and they were eager to give him the business.
His daughter and son, also in the real estate business were getting the benefit of the escape and today, I imagine that their family has a constant flow of warm leads calling due to their own publication. Amazing idea!
Grow your own web links!
For those who have a web site, then you undoubtedly have tried to find it on Google, Yahoo!, or MSN. You do searches with key words like,"property in Las Vegas" only to learn that you're nowhere near the front page at the results. Then you read that mathematically the top few pages are the sole ones seen by surfers on a search engine. So, what can you do to help build your website's ranking and start getting traffic and prospects from the Internet?
Search Engine Optimizing is beyond the scope of this report, but you can begin building an internet presence by finding websites that are ready to link to you. By them creating a hyperlink to your website, you can build your site ranking very quickly. Not so much due to the folks who will follow that link to your website, but on account of the search engine spiders that will follow that link to your website.
Those spiders, are computer applications which are searching for new information on the web all the time. A link from a website will guide those spiders to take a look at your website. Then, once there, the spider can examine your site to see what you're all about.
The more links that point to your website, the better because it's like having ten friends say,"You've got to see King Kong". Spiders visit hundreds of sites every day and if several of them say,"you've got to see Bob's property site," then they will go see it.
How can you find link partners and directories where you can list that will not cost you a fortune? Start with Google, Yahoo!, and MSN. They're the places you need to be listed anyway. Look for items like"link partners" or"real estate directories", and visit those sites to find out what is needed to find a link on the market.
Simply list on the ones that are free and give a link to your site. Putting your telephone number on a website helps none. But having the connection is everything.

5 Benefits Of Using Data Analysis To Grow Your Business

Data analysis is a topic that gets a lot of lip service in today’s world. Although it is not a novel concept for small and medium businesses, it’s the big companies that primarily use it to their advantage. The rest are still struggling to understand its real value and to use it in a way to derive business growth.
To ensure that your business doesn’t get left behind, we compiled a list of five benefits of using data analysis to grow your business.
Helps Identify The Right Client For a small business owner, one of the first hurdles of digital marketing is understanding where they can reach their customers. Is it through advertising, a website or social media channels? To understand their online behaviour, you need to identify your ideal customer first.
Start off by going through your last 20 transactions and analyse each customer. If the information you have is not sufficient, give them a call or schedule a meeting with them saying that you’d like their feedback on your product, service, and business.

When you’re trying to get a deeper understanding of your customers try to look at it from these perspectives – the type of customer, what they purchased, the pricing range, what problems were they trying to resolve, what questions they asked, any concerns they mentioned and did you enjoy working with this client.
The more data you have, the easier it is to categorise customers into different groups, each representing a unique customer persona. By analysing your customer base, you are in a better position to identify your customer personas and know which of these personas are the most valuable to your business. This will help you target them better.
Validates Decisions And Removes Biases Data analysis also removes biases and helps businesses make better decisions. Many business owners tend to seek advice from family and friends or marketing gurus when it comes to making important decisions concerning their business. This will not always provide the best results because these advises and tips are not based on data that is related to your business.
If you’re wondering which social media channel you need to invest your time on to engage with customers, instead of opting for the channel you or your friends prefer the most, find out where your customers spend their time online. This will remove biases and preferences and ensure that you’re spending your time, efforts and money on the right channel which will lead to better engagement and therefore results.

Understanding your customers’ interests can give you an insight into their online behaviour. This will help you reach them on their preferred platform using content that resonates best with them. If you have identified customer personas that are important to your business as suggested above, this will help you to come up with a strategy to target them.
If you’re in the business of selling bikes specifically for kids then your ideal customer is a mother of young children. Find out if your ideal customer is active on Facebook groups, a space that is gaining a lot of popularity to share stories and gain tips. You can find Facebook groups categorised according to interests in Groups, which is just under the Explore tab on your news feed.
By implementing decisions that are backed by data, instead of opinions and biases, you have the potential to reach more people that matter to your business.
Supports Continuous Improvement A business can grow in leaps and bounds if its strengths and weaknesses are recognised and improvements are made consistently. By analysing data regularly, you can find out what’s working and what’s not for your business. Using this information you can make effective improvements to your business and the processes involved to achieve better results.
Perhaps you have a website that is old and not mobile-friendly. A recent analysis of your website using Google analytics showed that most of your customers view your website via their mobile phone and you one look at the bounce rate on Google Analytics shows that majority of web visitors leave without nearly immediately without any interaction.

This data is invaluable and will highlight that the issue you have may not be in your marketing but your website is not converting the web visitors (traffic) to leads and sales. A deeper look may also reveal that those who remain may abandon their purchases half-way because they struggle to find the check-out page or due to a similar reason.
Based on these findings, now might be the right time to invest on a mobile-friendly website with a professional branding, and a design layout that engages the visitors within the first 2-4 seconds with a strong value proposition to your ideal customer. You can also improve other non-performing pages and usability issues such as easy access to the check-out page.
Once you have improved your website or got a new one and reduced your bounce rate you are now in a position to market to your business and also look into using retargeting advertising to remind customers of your business and any abandoned purchases.

Minimise Costs And Increase Efficiency Conducting regular data analysis can help your business minimise unnecessary costs and increase efficiency. Ideally, a business should monitor its website and social media channels weekly and spend more time at the end of each month analysing this data. By doing so, business owners can identify which marketing and promotion strategies are not working and make informed decisions to stop promotions or adopt an alternative method which is more cost-effective.
For example, if you spend a lot on Facebook advertising, analysing the engagement and revenue it brings can help you decide whether it’s something you should continue, amplify or if it’s time to try something different. Similar to Facebook advertising, you can also analyse other channels that you’re investing in to bring in revenue and make it more profitable for you. These could vary from promotional activities to offers, find out what’s working and focus on that channel.
If you want to know more about Facebook advertising and how you can make it work for you, click on the link to read more on Facebook budgeting.
Helps You And Your Team Be On The Same Track Whether you’re a small or medium business, having all your team members on the same page helps you run a smooth operation. By monitoring and analysing your business’s data regularly, you have an insight into what’s truly driving your business and bringing in the results.

If your salesperson has noticed a sudden interest in fitness activities in your locality and communicates it to the rest of the team then they can come up with content and marketing strategies that can cater to this demand again once they have validated the sales persons observations using data that is often at our finger tips.
To derive the best results from data analysis, teams need to communicate their findings and discuss strategies together. This will help everyone to be on the same page and also keep track of their progress as a team.
Tools To Help You With Data Analysis
Google Analytics This is a free service provided by Google to track the performance of your website. The platform allows its users to identify many crucial factors of their website including, the highest and lowest performing pages, devices they use to access the website and insights to their audience, in terms of location and times they view the site.
Google analytics provides sufficient data for businesses to come up with a comprehensive analysis of their website and their customers’ journey on their site.

What To Look Out For? User – This refers to the number of unique visitors to the website. This metric will help you understand if a particular page on your website generates more interest compared to another.
Bounce rate – This is the total percentage of users who visit a website and leave immediately without any further clicks on the page.
Session – Google Analytics starts recording a session as soon as someone visits your website. This includes the time it takes for the page to load and the session ends after 30 minutes of inactivity. Every click, pageview, and transaction is tracked during this time frame and is counted as one session.
Average Session Duration – This metric tells you how long on average a visitor stays on your website. It’s calculated by using the total duration of all sessions (in seconds) with the total number of sessions.
Pageview – If a user is loading or viewing a page on your website that is counted as a pageview.
Social Media Analytics Each social media platform offers its own analytics dashboard. Facebook Insights, for instance, provides a detailed breakdown of the performance of a page and posts published on that page. You can learn about who is engaging with your page, their demographics, and location. These will help you understand what kind of content works best for your audience and how much money and time you should be investing in social media platforms. Similarly, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter, and LinkedIn have analytics dashboards.

What To Look For:
Engagement – Likes, shares, comments, and clicks fall under this category. These metrics are a good indicator of how well content is performing on Facebook. Actions like sharing, commenting and clicking, in particular, show that the audience is displaying interest to connect with the brand apart from liking it.
Click Through Rate – This takes the number of clicks a post gets and divides it by the number of impressions. A low CTR means you have a high number of impressions and a low number of clicks and that your content isn’t resonating with your audience.
Reach – This metric indicates the number of people who see your content on Facebook.
Impressions – This number tells you how many times a post has been seen
Email Analytics This is another important platform if your business sends regular emails to a customer base. By understanding and analysing metrics below you might be able to improve the content in your emails to ensure that your brand gets the attention it deserves.

What To Look For:
Open Rate – This tells you how many times your email has been opened.
Clicks Rate – This number tells you the interaction the subscriber has had with your email by clicking links on the email, whether it’s to visit the website or read more.
Action Rate Over Time – This metric will help you identify what time your subscribers are most interested in taking action with your emails.
Conclusion Data analysis can no longer be ignored by small or medium businesses anymore. The benefits it brings to a company are invaluable and all business owners should make a conscious effort to invest the time to understand their business’s data.
Growth cannot be achieved if you are not willing to look at the results and fine-tune your strategies to cater to customers’ needs and wants. As mentioned earlier, this can lead to a streamlined operation that minimises unnecessary costs and focuses on how you can serve your customers in a more meaningful way.

What is Pinterest and how does it works

I use Facebook lots to stay in touch with friends and household. I'm flawlessly content material to share snapshots, fame updates, test-ins, and so forth on FaceBook, however, my lady pals and relatives kept leaping onto Pinterest to share their likes and pastimes. Not best do they pop inside and out to proportion matters, however, they spend LOTS of time "pinning" and viewing "forums". I kept feeling omitted. So I created a Pinterest account to see what all of the hooplas became approximately. Here are a number of my thoughts and observations approximately Pinterest and the way it is probably used as a social media advertising and marketing device.
So - what is Pinterest and the way does it paintings? Pinterest is a social community that lets in users to visually percentage, and find out new interests through posting (known as 'pinning' on 6 Simple Steps to Setting up your Pinterest AccountPinterest) pics or films to their very own or others' boards (i.E. A group of 'pins,' normally with a common subject) and browsing what different customers have pinned. Using a visual orientation, the social community could be very much centered at the idea of someone's way of life, allowing you to proportion your tastes and hobbies with others and discovering those of like minded human beings. The social network's purpose is to "join every person in the global through the 'things' they locate thrilling." Users can both add images from their computer or pin matters they find on the internet the usage of the Pinterest bookmarklet.
As with maximum other social networks, users can carry out general social networking capabilities which include following the forums in their pals, liking and commenting on different users' pins, re-pinning content material to their personal boards, sharing others' pins on Facebook and Twitter or via email, and even embedding individual pins on their website or weblog.
Pinterest noticed great growth in 2013 - for the first time ever, Pinterest handed electronic mail as a sharing medium, and even outpaced Facebook. According to the examine, that’s all way to the women, in particular in the Midwest, due to the fact 80% of Pinterest users are women. I'm no longer pretty certain why - as a long way as I can inform, guys like searching at pix as an awful lot as ladies, however I suspect it has to do with the reality that in the beginning Pinterest appeared to were started with interests within the home arts like cooking, adorning, style, gardening, and different subjects of hobby to girls. But, to my excellent wonder, I simply looked at Pinterest and there are boards for some of my decidedly, male-orientated pursuits like flyfishing, searching and cigars, so I would not be surprised to see the Pinterest information on male utilization for Pinterest hiking.
Interestingly, Pinterest is now the fastest-developing platform for online content sharing, in line with a new record from online content material distribution service ShareThis. The record analyzed the thousands and thousands of monthly stocks made thru ShareThis within the third zone of 2013 throughout greater than a hundred and twenty social media channels and million web sites and discovered that content material sharing on Pinterest jumped 19.2% within the present day region of 2013, and LinkedIn sharing grew 15.1%. Facebook saw content sharing upward push 14.7%, at the same time as sharing on Twitter fell 7.6%. (see infographic under).
The new information gives a reminder that businesses have to look beyond Facebook and Twitter when dealing with their social media outreach. Says ShareThis CEO Kurt Abrahamson in a launch: "The greater advertisers understand how consumers are the use of all social channels — past Facebook and Twitter — the extra efficiently they are able to use social media to augment and enhance campaigns,".
Small corporations can capitalize at the Pinterest surge to market their merchandise and develop their client base. Pinterest, a notably visible medium, offers agencies a risk to interact purchasers with compelling photos and colourful infographics that promote deals and new products. Pinning photos of employees could also help customers identify with the individuals who paintings at the company, putting a face to a call. Small commercial enterprise proprietors can also help facilitate conversations approximately their manufacturers on line through adding "percentage" buttons to their websites. These digital icons allow site traffic to effortlessly click and percentage a chunk of content material through a particular Pinterest board.
All said, Pinterest like different social media channels, can help create brand awareness and probable facilitate internet site leads, however we nonetheless consider that, for most groups, search engines can offer better ROI and direct conversion of site visitors into customers. Let's have the communique although - touch us to speak about how we is probably able to help your commercial enterprise with a strong advertising plan based at the marketing channels first-rate suited for your commercial enterprise.
