(Singing) “Once upon a time not long ago I was ‘H.O.E.!'” Sorry guys but we are not talking Mariah Lyn this time. Instead our crosshairs and gaze are set on AConnectionTV’s new hit web series, H.O.E! The series is directed by Toni Bernard (About Him Season 2: The Revolution, Red Carpet Hashtags & Heartbreak) and created and written by Wesley Henderson (Culture Klubb, The Mona Simone Show, While You Were Sleeping) is set in Atlanta and centers on a trio of friends, Hawk (Rodney Glover), O‘Neil (Ryan K. Sanders), and Elizabeth (Tiya Rene’e). Together the first letters of their names make the acronym of “H.O.E.”
Rodney Glover
Ryan K. Sanders
Tiya Rene’e
Hawk is Instagram famous with a knack for having casual and selfish sex with his followers (Yeah he’s an asshole). Meanwhile, O’Neil is a hopeless romantic determined to not be a gay, promiscuous stereotype all while struggling to move away from his ex-boyfriend Chance (Ryan Marcus) when the latter cheats on him. Finally, Elizabeth loves the ladies and gents and is perfectly comfortable with and casual about dating multiple people at once. The three friends tackle life and love in Atlanta while struggling to maintain their own near familial bond. The series as a whole will have you questioning what makes anyone a hoe, and you may even question are you a hoe? Overall the series actually has a story and you will find it refreshing to finally see a web series sprinkled sex and not a porn with dialogue! You can see H.O.E. for yourself by SUBSCRIBING to AconnectionTV.com, click the link here.
Grade: B+
What We Liked
-The story line was unique and actually tells a story. There is not a single series in the Web World like H.O.E. Trust me we checked and it is REFRESHING.
-The show definitely runs off an Insecure vibe at times, especially when Hawk is on the scene.
-The locations and shots of Atlanta definitely did our city justice.

What We Loved
-We love the cast and the chemistry between the characters. The dialogue flows and it would not be so far-fetched to believe they are actually friends in real life.
-The dialogue and banter!
-The cast is sexy! Rodney and both of The Ryans may very well make our 10 Hottest Web Stars of 2019 later this year (ladies we have a list for you too coming).
-The diversity of the characters’ sexual identities. We really did get a nice spectrum with a heterosexual, homosexual, and bisexual trio. Then when you add their dating styles you have millennial dating summed up.
What Needs Work
-Technical issues. The sound was off in the scenes filmed outside. There were times one of the characters voices sounded far away or a little muffled due to the wind.

( @lovedtombs like this )

‘DOCTOR SONG, you shouldn’t be here.’ The appearance of the other woman is hardly surprising; all the same, with the ship on red alert, there are certain restrictions and regulations that must be adhered to in order to keep the crew safe. ‘Please return to you quarters.’
