Last night in Los Angeles, stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira,  Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis were joined by writer/director Ryan Coogler and producer Kevin Feige for a walk down the red carpet where they greeted enthusiastic fans at the world premiere of Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther.”

They were joined by special guests Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Janelle Monáe, Donald Glover, Issa Rae, Lena Waithe, Jamie Foxx, Usher, Tessa Thompson, Kumail Nanjiani, Yara Shahidi, David Oyelowo, Elizabeth Banks and George Lucas.

This little hooligan deliberately dumped her trash less than 3 feet away from a rubbish bin... and then had the nerve to insult Ida when she asked her not to litter the beach!

Monday, 8 pm - Ohan'ali Town BBQ

"This is so cute! They really should have advertised it better with at least a flier or something!" Ida gushed as she and Ethan settled down at a picnic table near a merry bonfire.

As they waited for the grilled kalua pork -- no doubt decadent and juicy after marinating for hours, smoking slowly under palm fronds, and now releasing some tantalizing aromas -- they found themselves in an ostensibly pleasant, but actually slightly uncomfy conversation with Alika & Mele Kahananui.

As they walked home later, Ida reflected on how the Kahananuis were nice, but it was almost an interrogation couched in smiles. "They sure were interested in who we are, and why we've left the city for this place."

"Yeah..." Ethan replied. "They give off major 'been-to' vibes, and seemed intent on us recognizing how cosmopolitan and important they are. I think I'll pass..."

After an invigorating and scenic ride around the island, they parked their bikes (neatly in the ocean) before enjoying a peaceful afternoon.

(I wish Sims could chat while lounging or sit on the beach towels to chat or eat...)

But it wasn't all dubious adventures, collecting trash and getting covered in grime and slime. It's their honeymoon, after all!

Meanwhile, in Mua Pel'am...

Ida & Ethan continued exploring the island. It wasn't always charming and idyllic.

It was a balmy evening, if a little humid. A good time to grill some fresh fish and share leftover wedding cake.

(It always tickles me when adults have retained the childhood "Picky" trait. Makoa blatantly complains about the fish but gobbles down the cake 😂)

Cheers to deepening new friendships!

They joined an island clean-up club, encouraged by the gradual improvement they were witnessing daily.

Their new friends, the Kealohas, invited them over for dinner, and Ida (read: me) got extremely excited watching how Liliana swims:

"Legs pumping together instead of kicking independently?? She must be a mermaid!"

Azura eventually warmed up to Ida... a bit.
