This week for #fanartfriday is the character Nagisa from the mid-80s anime OVA "Fight! Iczer-1" 😍 Fight! Iczer-1 is an interesting series, a mix of giant robot sci-fi and gory horror.  In the show, aliens launch an invasion of Earth, turning people into monsters. Good alien/cyborg Iczer-1 comes to stop them but needs a human co-pilot/sycnhronisation partner for her giant robot. She chooses innocent schoolgirl Nagisa. Sobre la época de inicio de los 80´s el genero de ciencia ficción estaba teniendo un auge sin precedentes dentro del anime, esto gracias en gran medida a las sagas de mechas del momento, sin embargo el genero gore también contaba con una buena acogida, gracias a ello en el año 1983 el mangaka Aran Rei crea una obra llamada Iczer One que supondría una dosis exquisita de gore y erotismo dentro de un ambiente de ciencia ficción perfecto. Su edición se mantuvo por 4 años llegando a contar con una serie de Ovas realizadas como publicidad de la obra principal, esta entrega animada estuvo a cargo de los estudios AIC, y saliendo un episodio anualmente, llevo a convertir la historia de iczer en una obra de culto.
