The second part of my three-part ranking of on-screen Anne Boleyn portrayals is out now! This time, it's the middling bunch.

'A BBC reporter has come under fire for a BAFTA red carpet interview to actor Andrew Scott, which fans have deemed inappropriate.
Scott stars in Andrew Haigh's acclaimed heart-wrenching drama All of Us Strangers, also featuring Paul Mescal, Claire Foy and Jamie Bell. The movie received six nominations at the BAFTAs, but didn't win any awards.
During a red carpet chat with Scott before the ceremony, BBC journalist Colin Paterson asked the Fleabag star about his friendship with fellow actor Barry Keoghan, the lead of Emerald Fennell's Saltburn.
The reporter asked Scott if he knew Keoghan "well", to which he replied: "I know Barry, yeah."
Paterson then pressed Scott for his reaction to Saltburn's now-iconic final scene, seeing Keoghan dancing completely naked through the titular mansion to Sophie Ellis Bextor's 'Murder on the Dancefloor'.
"Your reaction when you first saw the naked dance scene at the end of Saltburn?" the reporter asked, to which Scott politely insisted he didn't want to "spoil" the film for viewers.
Despite Scott looking visibly uncomfortable, the interviewer carried on, asking the star "how well" he knew Keoghan, hinting at the prosthetic talk surrounding Saltburn's full-frontal nude scene.
"There is a lot of talk about prosthetics. How well do you know him?", the journalist asked, to which Scott grimaced and shook his head before walking away. "Too much?" Paterson said as Scott left.
Viewers were left baffled at the moment, with many taking to Twitter/X to voice their outrage.
"Utter disgrace," one user wrote, branding the interview "truly disgusting".
"Andrew Scott was present at BAFTA to promote his film that has received multiple nominations, and this is the question you chose to ask?" the post continued.
"Even after seeing Scott uneasy, the guy carried on. Truly disgusting!"
"This is frankly disgusting," another person said.
"Andrew Scott is there to support his multiple nominated film and THIS is what you ask? Then when he looks visibly uncomfortable the guy carried on. Truly horrid."
Digital Spy has reached out to the BBC for comment.'

Andrew Scott & Claire Foy at a taping of Happy, Sad, Confused Live with Josh Horowitz at Symphony Space.
Takeaways:
Claire Foy is a an absolute gem! Confirmed.
Andrew got emotional again at the idea that a movie like All of Us Strangers would have even been made when he was younger and that he’d be able to be in it. You can really feel how much he loves this one and how much it means to him. I swear to god I nearly cried too. So sweet.
Claire brought up something so interesting that I hadn't really thought about after my first viewing of the movie -- That when a child loses their parents, obviously the child is losing so much. But the parent also loses the ability to be apart of their child's life. I guess as someone who doesn't have kids, I hadn't really thought about that. But that idea that you would have kids and then not be able to watch them grow up is gut wrenching. I can't imagine.
Claire loves the word “Surrender”. Hard agree.
Andrew hates the word “Wednesday”.
They reenacted that scene from Harry Met Sally and let me tell you…. Iconic.
Andrew has read all of the “filthy, feral” things you’ve posted about him on the internet. But he’s sorta…. Okay with it? 😂
I have to find me someone who looks at me the way Andrew looks at Jamie Dornan giving his detailed recipe of roasted potatoes.
Andrew wants to bring Vanya to New York! 🙌🏽

Women Talking (2022)
dir. Sarah Polley
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As in the title, we can say, the film presents the story of women talking in a discussion forum, weighing their actions in order to have a better worth-living life. Whether it is by staying or leaving.
Here are couple of things I try to highlight from this film:
The plot is simple. The set is mostly taken in one place, but I didn’t find the film boring at all. In less then two hours there’s no wasteful scene, there’s no plot hole either. Every scene tells something useful about the story ✨
The conflict is clear: sexual assault. Attackers (men) keep coming like a nightmare for the women. It's not easy for women — who live in the religious community — to be brave. And somehow in this story they did. That's what made the film has a powerful story, and thanks to Miriam Toews for writing the book so this film exists 🫶🏼
Rooney Mara in blonde is something. Her character, Ona, is very calm and wise. How she thinks and speaks her mind is so admirable 👱🏻‍♀️
Claire Foy's acting is so excellent. The anger is sensibly raging, the tense she created makes the film's turbulence feel real.
Well, to be fair, all of the cast deserve a clap for the role they brought very well 👏
The shooting technique was a well-done job. The details and the landscape portrayed in a good picture make this film even more cinematic and interesting 🎥
And the dialogues, they are genius. Like they were being stitched carefully word by word. I think this is why I didn't feel bored at all while watching this film.
I love to listen to what they're saying because every word matters. Like a speech or a debate, some good quotes were coming out and, of course, there were interruptions that made the chit chat so alive 🌱
Don’t forget about the costume. It is exactly the most iconic part of this film. Even if the story’s events took place in the present time, due to the isolated life they have from modern civilization, the dress they wore looks so classic in black and other dark colors with one typical form, and I found it beautiful.
Lastly, even if the rating is good, I don't hear much about this film. I think this film is so underrated (among all of Oscars' Best Picture nominees) and more people need to know how awesome this film is. I call it: the real cinema 🎞️
“Does entering the kingdom of heaven mean nothing to any of you?”
“Surely there must be something worth living for in this life, not only in the next.”

The Magic Faraway Tree Movie: Rebecca Ferguson Joins Classic
Tumblr media
Enid Blyton is getting the Hollywood treatment once again, and this time, her beloved children's classic The Magic Faraway Tree is about to be brought to life in a way that’ll have both nostalgia enthusiasts and newcomers intrigued. With the final casting announcement now out, one name that’s causing quite the buzz is Rebecca Ferguson. Known for her roles in Dune, Mission Impossible, and Silo, Ferguson is set to play Dame Snap, a character whose name might sound charming but whose demeanor is anything but. A Darkly Magical Tale The Magic Faraway Tree isn’t just another stroll through the enchanted forest—it’s a deep dive into the world of make-believe, where every tree branch hides a new world and each character is more whimsical than the last. However, don’t let the whimsicality fool you. With Ferguson’s casting, it’s clear that the filmmakers are leaning into the darker, more sinister side of Blyton’s creation. Dame Snap, the terrifying headmistress, is one of those characters that kept kids (and probably some parents) up at night. Ferguson’s portrayal is bound to add an edge that will make you question your childhood memories in the best way possible. Director Ben Gregor couldn’t be more excited about Ferguson joining the cast, describing her as “a towering screen presence, one of the finest actors of her generation.” And honestly, when you look at her filmography, it’s hard to disagree. Ferguson has played everything from a seductive spy in Mission Impossible to a powerful aristocrat in Dune, and now, she’s set to become one of Blyton’s most iconic villains. Imagine Dame Snap with a touch of Ferguson’s intense energy—sounds terrifyingly delightful, right? Star-Studded Ensemble But Ferguson isn’t the only big name attached to this project. Andrew Garfield, the versatile star who’s swung between indie hits and superhero blockbusters, is also on board. Whether he’s playing a soldier on the battlefield (Hacksaw Ridge) or a ticking time bomb of creativity (tick, tick... BOOM!), Garfield has proven that he can do it all. Now, he’s set to bring that same level of depth to The Magic Faraway Tree, a story that’s as much about the internal journey of its characters as it is about the external adventures. And let’s not forget Claire Foy. With her Golden Globe and Emmy-winning portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown, Foy has shown that she can handle complex characters with grace and nuance. In The Magic Faraway Tree, her role is still under wraps, but given the talent attached, you can bet it’ll be one to watch. Nostalgia Meets New Age For those who grew up with Enid Blyton, The Magic Faraway Tree is a nostalgic trip down memory lane. But this film isn’t just about recreating a beloved book; it’s about reimagining it for a new generation. With its blend of dark fantasy, adventure, and a hint of the eerie, the movie promises to be as enchanting as it is unsettling. And with Rebecca Ferguson leading the charge as Dame Snap, it’s safe to say this is one adaptation you won’t want to miss. Should You Watch It? If you’re a fan of fantasy films, classic children’s literature, or just great acting, The Magic Faraway Tree should be on your radar. With its stellar cast, experienced production team, and a story that has stood the test of time, this movie is poised to be a hit. And if you’ve ever wanted to revisit your childhood, but with a bit more edge, this is your chance. Read the full article

{ 2 Timothée 2:3 }
Louis Segond
{1 Timothée 1:18}
{Éphésiens 6:11-18}
{Hébreux 10:32}
{2 Timothée 3:11}
