These shows had it all—from laugh-out-loud comedy to real-life drama—and they played a huge role in shaping our pop culture. In today’s video, I’ll be breaking down what I think are the top 10 teen shows of the era, with a special focus on their most iconic seasons.

Friday is the busiest day of the week for new releases, so we’ve decided to collect them all in one place. Friday Releases for October 25 include The Outer Worlds, The Girl on the Third Floor, Portals, and more.

Black and Blue

Black and Blue, the new movie from Deon Taylor, is out today.

BLACK AND BLUE is a fast-paced action thriller about a rookie cop (Naomie Harris) who inadvertently captures the murder of a young drug dealer on her body cam. After realizing that the murder was committed by corrupt cops, she teams up with the one person from her community who is willing to help her (Tyrese Gibson) as she tries to escape both the criminals out for revenge and the police who are desperate to destroy the incriminating footage.

The Kill Team

The Kill Team, the new movie from Dan Krauss, is out today.

When Andrew Briggman (Nat Wolff), a young soldier in the US invasion of Afghanistan, witnesses other recruits killing innocent civilians under the direction of a sadistic leader, Sergeant Deeks (Alexander Skarsgård), he considers reporting them to higher-ups — but the heavily-armed, increasingly violent platoon becomes suspicious that someone in their ranks has turned on them, and Andrew begins to fear that he’ll be the next target.

Frankie, the new movie from Ira Sachs, is out today.

Zomboat!, the new TV series from William Hartley and Adam Miller, is out today.

The story follows the aftermath of a zombie onslaught being unleashed on the British city of Birmingham. Sisters Kat and Jo, together with unlikely travel companions Sunny and Amar, flee for their lives, by canal boat.

As they journey along the canal in their tightly packed living quarters, friendships develop, alliances form, arguments occur and romance blossoms. Along the way, they realize there is no escaping the problems of everyday life, even in a zombie apocalypse.

The Outer Worlds, the new game from Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division, is out today.
