and you may think but in the anime and manga they don't interact what official media we'll get there and its gonna be good

OK so first of all for those that don't know there's a washizu spinoff that shows washizu's younger years and rise to power, I like 2 imagine he and ichikawa met during this time (the spinoff is canon but ichikawa is not in it at all so this is headcanon). i like to imagine they are "rivals" and "enemies" who hang out into their old age. ichikawa used to be this cool biker dude in his younger days (heres a doodle of young ichikawashizu i have on hand

I imagine as they grow old they settle down more. Ichikawa gets along with the whitesuits who used to pretend to hate him (the whole "rivals and enemies" thing) and are more just like a bitter little married couple that bicker a lot but enjoy each others company

and as for official media :) in the akagi drama they literally drink wine together and talk about being evil and how much they hate akagi and ichikawa fucking invents washizu mahjong by giving him the ideas for glass tiles and taking blood. they have these fucking flirty moments it genuinely feels like some writers fanfiction and i fucking love it
