would you say Kaname’s relationship with the hooded woman more parental than romantic? I saw how a lot of people say it’s romantic but Hino stated herself that it was more parental (I forgot where though). I can definitely say that the hooded woman was important to kaname however, I never saw the relationship as anything more than parental rather than romantic. Idk like the very few chapters we got of her, it seemed more like an admiration or idolization that people have for religious figures or smth.

I agree. Similar to a previous ask I answered, I think Kaname did hold some sort of affection for the hooded woman. It is possible that he did have some sort of crush / feelings for her, but its hard to say based on the limited details we have about their relationship. I’d say his affection for the hooded woman was based more on admiration and respect. A sort of 'mentee /mentor' relationship if that makes sense?
