Yuri on Ice: EVOLUTION (YOI x Digimon) Synopsis (Revised)

Months after Yuuri bombed at Sochi's GPF, he tried to decide to whether or not to continue skating. One day, when he went to Hasetsu Ice Castle to do Victor's GPF routine, a strange, white, puppy-like creature went up to him, gives him a strange device and declares they are partners, even knowing his name to boot. The creature's name is Salamon/Plotmon, and creatures like him are known as Digimon, short for 'Digital Monsters'.
However...
He's not the only one who has one...
Victor Nikiforov, Yuuri's idol, also has a digimon partner named Gabumon, a reptile with a canine-like fur pelt, and Yuri Plisetsky has a digimon partner named Renamon, a tall, golden, fox-like creature.
Together, they fight against hostile digimon and try to balance between battles and figure skating competition. However, something sinister is going on behind the scene...
