"Alright, I'll talk to you later. Buhbye papa."

The video feed shuts down, and Magolor sages against the Lor's console with a shaky sigh.

"They are safest there. You do not need to worry." Lor's voice crackles from the screen. Magolor's ears droop as he looks up.

"I know... I can't help it." He shudders. "'m not really used to it."

That is to say, nightmares still plagued Magolor often, even when napping. He knew that he had gotten his parents to a safe location away from Halcandran... but the brain is not so easily convinced.

He does let out a bitter chuckle at the mention of foolish following. Everyone that followed was a fool. So was he. But at least he was... learning. Better. With help.

At the change of the subject, he takes a deep breath. Magic... if he focuses on that, he can brush the previous feelings under the rug to poke at another time. After all, his was quite the magician.

Plus, her mentioning she can sense his powerful magic is a quick stroke to his ego that is perfect for making him perk up.

"I use lots of types of magic! I have an affinity for fire - though I'd never use that here." After all, fire and libraries don't really mix... "But there is summoning, runes and their corresponding spells, teleportation..." He is lifting a finger for each thing he lists, clearly very proud of himself. "... A few other things here and there."

He waves a hand nonchalantly. "I've studied much more than just that, though even I know that I can't use all of it..." Definitely sounds like he only half believes that statement. "But, eheh, I suppose I'm bragging, aren't I?" He definitely is trying to work on not doing that so much! Definitely! Probably.

Not really.

"What about you? Daroach shared some stories, but no one really knows a person's magical prowess more than themself, in my experience."

"It's quite alright. Still though, if any further talk of this makes you uncomfortable, please don't hesitate to tell me." She says as she can easily note the discomfort Magolor has. She imagines there could be more to it than just an uncomfortable topic, but she doesn't decide to press it.

"Oh...I see." She says upset. It was rather upsetting to think about how even a god's cruelty can make people follow them. But thinking on it, there have been those who follow cruel leaders, or who prioritize cruelty seeing it as strength. It just upsets her really, to think that such actions inspire loyalty. "Well, I can only hope they do not do anything foolish in their following of such a being." She finishes with.

"But, enough of that. I want to ask, what kind of magic can you use? I can feel a powerful magic emanating from you." She inquires, wanting to change the topic from this.

Guess who's FINALLY stepped through the gates of Merry Magoland, staring at the card she'd gotten back around easter time. It's absolutely Hope in all her half-breed glory. Even has her multi-colored wings and tail out; since for once not looking completely human was an advantage. "This... should be the place. I think..."

"Welcome to Merry Magoland!"

Definitely is the place, if the little creature in a hat that looks just like what the main building looks like.

"I am Manager Magolor, and you are... Hope!" He pulls a piece of paper and pen out, checking something with the pen, then waving them away with his magic.

"Apologies if that was too sudden, I am just happy to see another one of the special invitees come around!" He claps his hands together, absolutely beaming.

All characters were suggested by my brother! The piece took me almost 5 hours total and was actually very fun to work on!

I posted some wip earlier about it but now you get the full picture that i am proud of because i think the colors look nice

Susie is just amazing. She's cute and is a techie and has a gun and sings and canonically loves ice cream lol, she has so many qualities. Also her backstory is agonizing, she could really use a hug after everything that's happened to her.

Gooey is such a good boi. He's so silly and cute. He's like the perfect thing to give head-pats to. He's also quite relatable, not gonna lie.

Marx and Magolor.... yo... my backstabbing prankster bois!

Taranza is a wonderful wizard spider that's also uuhhhhh very tragic. He could also really use a hug after what he's been through.

Ice Dragon is just a big cute squishy blue dinosaur and I love it. I mean I didn't just pick my username for nothing, that and I chose it to stand out because I barely see this thing get fandom love. Would've been cool if it was more of a character on par with the dream friends than the way it's been utilized, though.

Hey referee good news! Gremlin and Luna are already at the castle chatting it up with deedles! That’s like your entire support system right? So get on over there and show off your kids!

"Well, you heard 'em! Let's go!" Beep declared, floating by the main door to encourage the rest to hurry up. "They're already there? I didn't ask 'em to." Reverie thought, tapping his chin with a feather. 'Let's goooooo!!' Orbee cheered, spinning around their father. Shaking his head, the Dream Fae chuckled. "Right, right." He agreed.

Magolor shook out his hands, hyping himself up. 'You got this Wiz, all of us are gonna be there for you!' Beep encouraged him through their connection so as not to draw too much attention to him. He grinned back at her. 'Right, I can do this. I can do this.' The Halcandran repeated, feeding his confidence.

Pulling Reverie's wing, Beep urged him on. "c'moooOOOOOON-" She shouted. "Ok, ok! Just one second!" Her father pleaded, turning to the corner of the room. "You ready, Hermit?" He asked. The Matter, not fully submerged in darkness, crept out a little at being acknowledged. "Want to… just scared… go out…" Hermit explained. Since arriving on the Starcutter, they hadn't once left.

"Aawh, what’s so scary out there, Hermie?" Beep questioned, hoping to assuage their fears. "More people… more eyes…" Hermit mumbled. They felt safe with everyone here, but strangers were still dangerous. "That's why we're going at night, much less people around." Magolor reminded them, ready to share some of his own confidence with them. "Some still…" They replied.

"I’m way scarier." Beep told them, prompting a slow blink. "Beep not scary… Beep safe…" Hermit disagreed. "Beep will be scary to anyone that scares you!" She corrected herself with a wide smile. "You’ll be safe Hermit, promise." The fellow Matter added, the younger of them nodding. She had always been right before, so she must be right now. "Ok… Trust Beep… Ready…" Hermit decided. "Then we're set! We'll see ya later, Lor!" Reverie waved, finally reaching the exit. 'Byyyyye!' Orbee joined in. "I'll text ya when we're getting back." Magolor promised. The AI was busy already, prepping for whatever outcome may come of this. ">Be safe everyone." Lor insisted. "WOOOOO-" Beep hollered, flying out the door.

Ah, another visitor!

Magolor's ears perked up at the sound of the other's voice. Looking up from his desk and the paperwork he was working on, he greeted the newcomer with a smile.

"Hello hello, and welcome to Merry Magoland! Home to the very best theme park games in the universe!"

"I assure you, all of the attractions here are completely safe, with only a 2.285% chance of death!"

The sound of an exploding bomb went off in the distance, coming from one of the attractions.

"Totally harmless!!"

The mage clapped his hands together, his grin (...did it feel this sinister a minute ago?) never faltering in the slightest.

"Go on, now! Check out anything and everything that catches your eye! And if you'd like to purchase some fun masks, talk to the Waddle Dee vendor running that cart on your left!"

Ah, this person had said they wanted to say 'hi' to everyone, right?

"Oh, and if you're looking for any of my friends, I'm sure they're still here having a blast playing my games, hehe!" Perhaps even literally!
