I know this Fangan will probably never be developed past the prologue, but I just wanted to share my predictions for "Danganronpa: Glacial Bullets".

I’d love to hear your predictions and thoughts on this long-since abandoned fangame.

Elaboration (as well as additional thoughts) below the cut:

From just the prologue, I can easily tell that there are several elements borrowed from both SDR2 and SDRA2. Yuma (the girl with the pink pigtails) is a lot like Sora, Shinichi (the boy with the blue hair and jacket) is obviously Yuki, both Okura (purple cape) and Iwao (armor boy) are a lot like Gundham, Kyoji (shirtless buff guy) is obviously Nekomaru, Machiko (other pink girl) and Nanpo (buff guy in the suit) are FuyuPeko, Yuna (girl with blue highlights) is Syobai, Tomohiko (black jumpsuit boy) is like Kazuichi mixed with Yuri, and Nariko (girl with blue hair and jacket) is like a mix between Yoruko and Mahiru. There is also a virtual world with a Monomi-esque figure (a blue fireball named Mu), and an ally for the mastermind gets instantly exposed, complete with red eyes (much like Void). So, this influenced the death order predictions and related plot points.

On a sidenote, the naming schemes for the characters in this game are very confusing. Some of them are in the Japanese order (Okamoto Kyoji, Hada Tomohiko, Akiyama Hyosuke, Wakimoto Iwao, Hirayama Nanpo, Matsuura Nariko), some are in the English order (Ranjit Karam, Shinichi Tokoyuni, Machiko Otsune, Ruriko Teshima, Muzoku Fujimoto, Yuuma Kagami), and others consist of two first names (Okura Komatsu, Tsuzuki Kiho, Yoshina Miyako, Yuna Asahi, Yuuma Kagami)

During Chapter 1, Iwao (the Ultimate Actor, who is WAY to into his role as a knight) would kill Yoshina (the Ultimate Robotics Engineer, whose gimmick is that she is VERY forgetful and apologizes regularly because of it), in order to try and play the hero for everybody in the killing game (after all, the Ultimate Robotics Engineer would OBVIOUSLY have something to do with the virtual killing game), only to end up dying, knowing that he killed an innocent.

During Chapter 2, Ranjit (the Ultimate Snake Charmer, who's very chill and laid-back, and probably likes snakes more than people) would send Sora (the snake he has around his neck) to subtly bite Machiko (the Ultimate Heiress, who has a very bratty personality, reminiscent of Hiyoko), thus killing her. However, Nanpo (the Ultimate Bodyguard, who is self-sacrificing to a ridiculous fault and dedicated to protecting Machiko) ends up intervening, and gets bitten by Sora in the process. Nanpo's death would result in character development for Machiko, allowing for her to become more resilient and less dependent on others waiting on her hand and foot.

I have no idea for the plot points of Chapter 3, but Tomohiko (the Ultimate Spray Painter, whose gimmick is that he always speaks in texting lingo and fulfills the "Casanova wannabe" trope common in Danganronpa) and Muzoku (the Ultimate Candy Critic, who has a hyperactive and ditzy personality, a lot like Ibuki Mioda or Satsuki Iranami) will get killed by Ruriko Teshima (the Ultimate Librarian, who’s quiet and stoic, and dislikes talking, unless the subject is books). I just know that Ruriko’s customary Chapter 3 breakdown would be lit.

Much like Chapter 4 of both SDR2 and SDRA2, the remaining students will end up trapped on a floor of the castle, resulting in them starving. Much like with Nekomaru and Gundham, Kiho (the Ultimate Gardener, who is all about positivity and kindness) and Okura (the Ultimate Demonologist, who claims to be the son of the King of Hell, and tries his best to summon him) get together and fight to the death, in order to save the other students from the motive, with Kiho managing to win. The trial would be one of the saddest, I’d be sure of that.

I’d imagine that Chapter 5 would play out much like SDRA2’s Chapter 5, with an unsolvable crime that results in everybody voting incorrectly, before a glitch in the system results in the remaining members of the surviving. In it, Yuna (the Ultimate Con Artist, a very rude and antagonistic person, and would probably be the rival character, if there were trials in the game) would get killed by Yuuma (the Ultimate Illustrator and the protagonist of the game, a stoic yet sarcastic Sora-esque protagonist who eventually exposes herself as an insane Junko-esque character).

Because of Shinichi’s (the Ultimate Lucky Student) Yuki Maeda-esque personality, as well as early hints in the prologue, I believe that he is the Utsuro-esque mastermind with Yuuma being much like Akane.

Finally, the survivors would be Hyosuke (the Ultimate Chessmaster, a very stoic and logical person, who is always thinking of a game plan and analyzing his surroundings), Nariko (the Ultimate Escape Artist and who I believe to be the real protagonist and possibly Shinichi’s twin sister, a girl with a tsundere personality and the only other brain cell in the cast), Machiko, and Kyoji (the Ultimate Weightlifter, a very emotional and easily-angered person who just wants to be friends with everybody).

Kaoru Mori: Otoyomegatori is probably my favorite manga for all of time and the mangaka renders detailed, cultural costumes and backgrounds with such detail and care and I only wish I had her energy and skill!!! Queen!!!!!!!!!

Juanmao: Juanmao is one of my bigger influences when I try to channel a more cartoony style or for more stylized drawings!! I love love their monster designs or less human looking designs, which always have such personality and vibes!!!

TerraTerrific: I hope it’s okay to put a snippet of her art here to gush about it...... But I really do love TerraTerrific’s detailed and intricate character details and her lavish coloring and shading so much!!! She also inspired me to go more ham when drawing eyelashes sghdfjsjhds

Pigeon666: a long time fave of mine, their grasp on coloring and lighting, especially skin, is fantastic!! They always put so many small touches with their illustrations, and render everything with such immense detail that it never ceases to amaze!! Don’t even get me started on their character designs uGH

Satsuki Ibuki: one of my all time favorite artists!!! I follow her on weibo and it astounds me how she creates such beautiful, atmospheric drawings, blending together modern China with ancient China and telling intriguing stories with just a few illustrations!! Beyond that, her coloring, lighting, texturing, composition, anatomy are all impeccable
