A Quiet Tour, Part 4
Lunchtime! Let's just wander down to the field.. and hey howdy what? Here's a noontime surprise!

Mariners superstar and Hall of Fame player Ichiro Suzuki! Apparently he enjoys playing catch with his interpreter every day possible here!
A few shots showing you more of what we build.

The upper decks are even more liminal during quiet times.

The Rooftop Boardwalk always affords a gorgeous view of the Puget Sound.

If you have a moment, you can see the city up close through a number of (free!) telescopes.

Lastly, who wouldn't sneak into the dugout when you have a free moment? 1st base is best base!

A Quiet Tour, Part 5
Perhaps one day I'll make it behind the plate for a game, until then, how about break time in the best seat in the house?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ever wondered what it looks like behind the scoreboard?
Tumblr media
How about the view players have when they make it to the big show?
Tumblr media
No bad views, even from the upper decks!

A moment of rest, and hey, that's where we're sitting for the next game!

A Quiet Tour, Part 2
Always grateful for the roof when it moves. I have a weird thing for enormous structures, I often dream about oversized abstract buildings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We build a walkway over the bullpen so concertgoers can get to food and vittles from the field.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I like it when there's not a big line for activities.

The boneyard out back behind the parking garage is where gear is stored and prepped to go into the stadium.

We work hard to create a concert atmosphere from nothing, quickly, quietly, and efficiently.

A Quiet Tour, Part 1
Hello all, been watching the Mariners and it's been a wild ride, but I thought I'd share a quiet empty self tour through the empty ballpark with you!
While it's been a heck of a ride this season watching the Mariners go through their usual ups and downs (and let's not mention ownership philosophy here), I am absolutely in love with our ballpark. So many great views and locations to enjoy here!
First off is coming in through the work entrance;

The beginning of the day walking through the outfield entrance always reveals a quiet solitude and the enormity of the park when it's empty.
Tumblr media
My original purpose was building steel for a concert, however, I was picked up to do forklift work instead, supporting the same. Keep your pants on, I know you enjoy a hot forklift pic!

Took a selfie with Dave Niehaus.
Tumblr media
"Get out the rye bread and mustard, Grandma, it is grand salami time!"
In the tunnels and support areas you'll find quite a few tributes to various organizations, such as this one dedicated to military service members.
Tumblr media
Occasionally you'll find odds and ends about. Not sure how this bra lasted here as long as it did.
Tumblr media
We ate catered lunch up in the 'Hit it Here Cafe', a wonderful view of the park in right center field. I imagine how wild it can get seeing the entire field up here during a close game.

More to come!
