I’m super into comedies and writing and all that stuff, and I prefer more sophisticated humour (and generally English over American shows), so despite iasip being one of my all time favourites, it’s rare it actually makes me laugh - so I would like to document the only two times it’s actually made me burst out laughing:

s11e5, mac and dennis move to the suburbs: the scene when they’re talking about the old black man in the storage room makes me lose it every time. it’s so so so funny to me for reasons inexplicable

s10e6, the gang misses the boat: when charlie and dee are in the diner and charlie accidentally yells out beak when trying to order. i can’t explain this one either but i cannot keep it together when i watch it.

So finally watched the finale of IASIP. My thoughts on Chardee: I am totally cool with the way they did Charlie and the Waitress. In fact, I was going to add this exact plot to my fic (minus the baby stuff), but basically The Waitress wants Charlie and Charlie being like ehhhh no was going to be a plot. I do think that Charlie has to get over the Waitress to be anything with Dee. So having him finally see her in a different light after banging her makes sense to me. It also makes sense to me that he goes straight to Dee. And we basically got confirmation that they banged in 10x06. So I had higher hopes for Chardee in the finale but I am happy with what we got. I am keen to see series 13 with Charlie dodging the Waitress and hiding out at Dee's? Or even getting her advice (like he was doing at the end of the ep) on how to deal with the Waitress. Also i kinda wish charlie didn't call Dee a whore though- I know it's Dee and they insult her all the time. But it just seemed harsh..? Maybe cos it was coming from Charlie *shrugs*
