Sorry for the bad photo quality, Tumblr doesn't like posts this long.
#although I will say I am always a bit confused about things like this#because BP emissions come from selling the oil for use in transport (cars aviation shipping etc) and electricity generation#which are what's being used by consumers#i.e. if all BP emissions stopped today my understanding is that all that would happen is#we would not be able to use transport as much/it would become more expensive#and it would be equivelant to consumers cutting down their oil consumption#I think this does apply for heavy polluting industries that could change their processes to make them more green but I'd be suprised#if this also held true for oil companies
