He called you if you would come today and once he heard how raspy your voice sounded , that was it for him. He was in your house , all ready to take care of you.

You were under the thick blanket facing the ceiling, with a package of ice sitting on your forehead. He was there from the start of the day and he knew what to do to take care of a sick person. But being a picky eater who hates healthy food, you felt overwhelmed. You yelled at him for making you eat until you are about to vomit.

"Barou , i have already told you that i can NOT physically handle one more bowl of soup. Do you really think i eat as much as you do ? Stop it would you!?"

"It's your fault you are like this to begin with. I am here skipping school because of you to take care of you and you are complaining ? Do you really think i don't know how much you eat ? Don't you act like you don't eat 3 fcking hamburger menus outside. I have been paying for your food remember ? Ofc ik how much you can eat."

It made you feel both guilty and embarrassed. Guilty that you are making him skip school and embarrassed that he is bringing how much you can eat when it's fast food. But you weren't gonna make him notice that embarrassment. So you kept your "angry" role at him and tried making him guilty.

"I am sick to death here and you are yelling at me ? And you are supposedly taking care of me. What about my emotions ?"

You opened your mouth for him to feed you the soup. He was ordering you around now but you somehow liked it. You felt giddy and was glad that the blanket was thick enough to cover you kicking and wiggling your feet. Who would say to you that falling in love with your boy bestie would end up like this ? No one. But it felt good to know that the feeling you have held inside for so long for the sake of your friendship are reciprocated. And it helped your healing process by a lot.

You two stood at the entrance to the principal's office. He found himself here again because of his endless pranks around the school. But this time he dragged you too , even tho it was unintentional and all the thing you did was to warn him to stop.

He looked down at his feet ashamedly. If he was alone , he wouldn't care less but now that you are sitting there with him , he felt guilty. And your piercings and accusing glares didn't really help the situation either. You two were punished with detention , nothing too grand at least in his opinion.

After the classes ended , you settled down onto the desk and boredly looked out of window. You were now about to go through a 1.5 hours of detention , and worse you had nothing to study and you didn't even bring a reading book because you would go to shopping after school. So you would just sit down and watch the scenery.

"I have so much better things to do but here i am sitting in a detention because of you , Bachibee. The least you could do was to just fcking sit down properly for JUST ONE period."

"How the hell am i supposed to know that they would punish you with me too ? It's your fault for trying to stop me anyways. You tried. You tried your best to focus on your studies. Not that you did have sth in your mind but the topics were so hard that you kept getting bored and out of focus. So i wanted to ask, would u love the tought of the Reader finally being more stronger then characters? (Yandere's, of course.) for once, Reader is hard to catch, better at everything whether attacking running and etc, maybe even playfull like bratty but not rotten and actually kind to others- chaotic personality i guess.. This is a very good question, anon.

I do get why many authors make the ‘reader’ weak. There may be serval reasons as to why such as: it may make writing ‘reader’ easier as they don’t have to have a strong personality (after all docile characters don’t necessarily need too much thoughts to them to make it work), if we are talking about a yandere context it may make the yandere seem more intimidating, it may be a preference by the author. After all we all have our own preferences. It would be extremely boring if everyone agreed on anything.

I personally hate the overly bratty/ bitchy/ rude ‘readers’ and I find them annoying (I’m thinking of the stereotypes, like Wattpad and etc.). I think it’s extremely frustrating how a female character almost always has to be physically strong and a ‘badass’ in order to be considered a ‘strong/ powerful woman’. I think that a female character is 100% able to be considered strong without being a warrior with non-feminine qualities. Being a strong female lead is not about how many men she can kill or how much she bench presses, it’s about being true to herself and being kind without letting others step over her (not saying that women can’t be physically strong obviously). She needs to stand her ground and not let anyone ruin her dreams hand her belief in her self.

I think the new Snow White movie is a good example. They made her be a strong leader who doesn’t need a romantic relationship. Which is in itself nothing wrong (I love a strong leader), but it’s too contradicting to the original story. Yes, Snow White was no fighter, but she was kind and helped everyone around her. She didn’t let the dwarfs boss her around, but instead lived in harmony with them. Is she the best example for a strong female lead, no, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t.

My point is that I’m so incredibly sick and tired of seeing these ‘strong female leads’ that are only considered strong if they act ‘manly’ or is a fighter. Katniss on the other hand is a strong woman, but it’s not purely for her fighting abilities. It’s her morality and mental strength that makes her powerful. (I really do love Katniss and I think she is definitely one of the best female leads).

Little Women is also another great example. The sisters are all so different, but at the same time extremely strong in their own accepts.

And remember a weak character doesn’t mean she can be strong. That is a misconception that irritates me. Take Yui from Diabolik Lovers. Many people call her weak, but I disagree. In the games her personality really shines through and it’s impossible to say that the isn’t a strong female lead.

So will I make ‘reader’ or [Name] a strong female lead? The answer is yes, but not necessarily the way you might think. There are many ways to make a character string that isn’t just purely physical strength and that’s extremely important to remember. Robin is a strong female character and it isn’t because of her physical strength.

Will [Name] be a feminist? Absolutely. I would never make a female character that isn’t a feminist.

Hi! Wow, you answered that ask faster than I thought you would XD (I am gift headcanon anon for clarity). And yeah, I probably should have sent an ask before with the headcanon I had that the rescue bots suffer varied levels of survivors guilt before I sent that other one for context, whoops. (Spoilers: long rant ahead, (and also may get a little dark?) I don't know where boundaries lie, I'm sorry) I know Rescue Bots is a kids show and can't really go in depth with the war like in Prime, but I really wished they had little snippets with the bots having 'reality checks' every once in a while that cybertron was gone and struggled with that fact. Blades feels it the most because he is an anxious mess that lets his thoughts get away from him. So the fact that they went into stasis only to wake up and find everything/everyone they known and loved was gone for millions of years…that would mess anyone up real bad. And the fact it was all gone because of a long, brutal war they completely missed by sheer luck?! That's not something you just brush off.

I can imagine in the beginning Blades remembering friends/family he'd love to talk to about earth and his new mission only to get slammed by the reality that those bots he talked to a few days ago are long since gone and he can't talk to them ever again! PLUS the fact that Decepticons hit Rescue Bots first thing in the war and Sigma 17 were the only rescue bots to survive the bullet! The last four of their kind. I refuse to believe Blades didn't immerse himself in human movies and internet so he wouldn't spiral. He knows deep down he's not responsible for what happened, nor could he control anything afterwards, but after seeing new cybertron it's really hard not to think about the people he knew that don't get to enjoy this new peaceful world. And he feels he can't confide to Bee because how do you tell a war veteran with serious trauma that you feel guilty because you took a nap for millions of years only to wake up and play hero with humans while he and his team battled horrors beyond your belief just to survive everyday of a brutal war that killed your whole planet and everyone on it?! You do not dump 'Sorry I wasn't there to watch all of these terrible things you experienced, but I kinda sort of wish I did so I can feel I deserve to be here and enjoy this without my spark eating itself alive from thinking about how many suffered while I got off scott free'. I've probably talked about this before but Kazuma's themes fucking kill me.

Samurai On A Mission and Kazuma Asogi: Nocturne are both in a major key. Samurai on a Mission feels happy. It makes you excited. Nocturne's slower, and it's more bittersweet. But it still fills you with optimism. It still feels good to listen to. It gives you the feeling that even if Kazuma's gone, this isn't the end. There's still stuff Ryunosuke needs to do in Kazuma's place.

Compare them to His Glorious Return and A Prosecutor, Reborn, and it's the complete opposite. The opening to His Glorious Return feels just slightly off. Like I don't think it's in a different key than Samurai on a Mission, but it's different enough to just feel off. I think it might be the instruments honestly. His Glorious Return is closer to Nocturne than Samurai on a Mission (obviously it's the same motif but His Glorious Return is closer to Nocturne than Samurai on a Mission because it's slower).

And THEN you get to A Prosecutor, Reborn. How fucking dare they. At this point in the game, not just is Kazuma prosecuting Barok, but his motive is made clear to be revenge (iirc). A Prosecutor, Reborn is basically just Samurai on a Mission with different instruments and in a minor key. A Prosecutor, Reborn specifically has fairly prominent harpsichord in it. The same also applies to Barok's theme. You get the vibe that something is seriously wrong here.

You can literally understand Kazuma's arc before The Resolve of Ryunosuke Naruhodo from his themes alone. That's. impressive. Like just to be clear this isn't the first nor the only time Ace Attorney does this. It was also done with Eustace's themes, Winning Deductions and Winning Independence. But it's so impressive that they gave Kazuma four unique sounding themes using the same motif and made it easy to tell how his story goes just in music. Like just listening to his themes, it goes happiness and positivity > oh actually this is kind of bittersweet. there's still work to be done so we must go on > triumph but also a little bit of "something's off here" > wow what the fuck happened here

It's so impressive to me?? But also the fact that Kazuma has four unique sounding themes that use the same motif is incredibly impressive. All four are basically the same song but different depending on the vibe needed for the part of the game they're featured in. Doing that with anything is hard.

A similar thing is done with the Dance of Deduction tracks. Partners ~ The Game Is Afoot! feels more complete than the initial Joint Reasoning tracks. Listening to the initial Joint Reasoning tracks and then listening to Partners ~ The Game Is Afoot! makes it incredibly obvious to me. In this case, it goes from "this is fun and upbeat!" during Joint Reasoning [TYPE A], then goes to "we're getting a little more intense" during Joint Reasoning [TYPE B], then to "oh now we're getting INTENSE" during Joint Reasoning [TYPE C], then to "shit just got REALLY serious" with Partners ~ The Game Is Afoot! Even the backstage tracks (the ones that play when you either fill in the blanks or correct one of Sholmes's deductions) are like this. It feels more intense and high energy during Sholmes and Mikotoba's Dance of Deduction.

Anyway my point is TGAA is genuinely the best video game soundtrack ever in my opinion and even tops most movie soundtracks for me. I'm almost completely convinced this is because they made the soundtrack sound like music you'd get in Victorian England. I don't think the soundtrack would be nearly as good without the Victorian sound. Anyway back to drawing I go
