I just sort of assumed Santa was bending the truth? Like Felix's nightmare was more alongbthe lines of Locus *betraying* and *leaving* him rather than being afraid of Locus and the implication of abuse. I thought it was about Felix being insecure about Locus leaving rather than hurting him to keep him? It forced Felix to think of being alone. If that makes sense? It always kinda felt like it was a trick because Felix loopholed Santa.

Oh yeah that’s very true and I’m on board with it!  Just at the time of the release fandom got split into either “Locus was abused canonically and there for you can’t ship this.” (even though shipping doesnt’ mean you think that stuff is okay in real life and simply just liked how the characters play off one another) and other categories that are too many to list. But we lost a lot of lolix fans during that time frame cause well It was a scary time to be a lolix fan lmao. But yeah I do think Santa either straight up lied or warped the truth. excuse the tiny history dump but yea the corner i was in just poofed over time. And I was chased out of the locus tag. I’m better but sometimes I’ll remember that incident and emotions spiral
