WAIT im supposed to be asleep right now but then I remembered about how much i ADORED destroying images in audacity when i was in highschool and i am going to become SO annoying for the forseeable future
i couldnt remember how to do it at first so i tried to mess with that drawing i posted earlier about the squirrel but i imported the raw data wrong but it was okay cause it still kinda looks like a cool texture and im kinda digging it (even if it was constantly teetering on the edge of corrupting itself too far)
so i tried again doing it right this time but its a little underwhelming, maybe ‘cause theres very few colours in the original image? or maybe i just didnt use the right effects lol but again, still could be a fun texture~
ANYWAY now ive remembered this long lost ability of mine so *starts screaming and glowing like im mr dragon ball going super saiyan*
i‘ve killed 2009 art style nobunaga. ive killed him
image from my jake hunter truck freak goof......this ones honestly pretty tasteful compared to my usual brightly coloured fare. i kept some restraint with the echo effects. some restraint
#long post#eyestrain#bright colours#this is what my header image actually#i think i mentioned it before but it was a weird image i mad in comipo and then bended the FUCK out of it#its very fun try audacity databending today#i did these with tif files because i find it easier#but you can do it with bmp too#the trade off is tif files can be tricky to actually get to be the right type of tif file (per channel) but relatively stable#like i rarely have problems with breaking the files too hard#they also often have less wild and wacky colours and effects than bmp but its still cool#bmp is easy in the sense that you dont have to worry about the per channel shenanigans of tif files#and like i said before some of the colours and effects can be WILD#but its also SO much easier to break because of. i think its the header and footer in the image?#dont touch the end or beginning of the file once its been imported in audacity lol it needs those to function as an image#i've also tried the wordpad method of image databending but ive always struggled with it#its cool when it works but i use windows (seems to be easier on mac?) and it tends to just fully break the image more often than not#i've also tried hex editing and thats fun too but audacity databending is just so charming and fun to me kjfldsds#its so fast and easy!! and you can get so many cool effects!!!!!!!#theres tutorials out there if u wanna try it urself just search audacity databend or something its very fun
