I love Gon to bits, but I can't help what wonder what the consequences are in this AU. Being raised on Whale Island away from Nen was probably the best thing for him, so having him exposed to Nen masters and monsters and all that power so young...makes me wonder how that affects him as he grows up. Similar to how if Ging had dumped him in Meteor City, he probably would have been a ruthless Phantom Troupe member...

There are indeed consequences from being raised in Greed Island! I will hopefully do a big post about all of Gon's issues and changes when I have the time, but for now, accept these very simplified character stats to get a feel of the changes
