#i'm watching the new venom movie with my family

Normally i don't do this because like. While I'm well aware i can have my own opinions, i still don't want to make anyone feel bad for me being a disliker ( maybe hater? ).

Spoilers / talking about the new Venom movie below. If you liked it I'm glad you did! If you want to explain in why in comments, feel free! /genuine

I'll start with: i had a bad-ish day so maybe everything soured my mood and i wasn't ready i. The end. I also picked the wrong ticket and had to watch it in 3D < not a 3D fan due to being sensitive to flashing lights.

What i did like:

Implications of being bonded since v1

Knull ( surprisingly, i hate the comic story though I'm gonna be so real. But its been awhile since i looked up the plot/story ).

Agony and the Christmas themed Symbiote

Horse.

Dancing.

The blue symboite and that fire symbiote ( so pretty?? I loved the different powers and such. I want to draw both of them ).

The symbiote hunter, shes gorgeous.

What i Did NOT like:

Toxin being erased entirely.

They killed of Carnage and Cletus in 2 so this whole thing flopped without them IMO

You can see where Disney or Sony whoever wanted this or that but when Tom or whoever didn't want it, it got scrapped and had messy left overs.

Too much action and too much comedy ( the dancing was fine, but the hippie family deal went on a bit too long imo ).

Why was Agony introduced but not the other three? Specifically Scream at least?

Knull having his own thanos moment for sony, a spin off or whatever they're doing.

Eddie's ENTIRE attitude.

That Montage was ASS. Hate that song too.

Too much going on imo

I would have loved to have a genuine queer moment, a kiss, a "i love you", literally anything. I can MAYBE understand if they tried but Sony or Disney said no ( fuck them ) but still. And no i was one of the few that hope there wasn't fucking or kiss with HARD tongue ( i am ace and also these two are my dads to me, it would've been awkward ). Yeah i see some people saying "Its textual" !!!

Yea sure thats nice but aren't you tired? It doesn't have to be queer baiting but like. I'm so tired.

Even if you remove that um? Its not.. that great.

I'm WILLING to watch it again and read positive sides. Because my mood just may have soured.

i think my biggest issue if i take everything away what i just said, is Eddie just going back to being annoyed at every little thing Venom does or wants. ITS OKAY to be concerned about being found by the hunter, but even before then hes just so done. And even during? He should've been concerned. Or Yeah he CAN be annoyed / irritated, but it should be with care. This felt like he was back to thinking of Venom as a tumor, something he just needs to get rid of.

It was vastly upsetting as someone who has partners. Like.. it would be okay if this was the second or first- but it isn't!!!!! And yeah couples fight, but they didn't even do that. Couples have disagreements! But they didn't even talk it out or anything.

Also like? One of my things that bugged me was, when Eddie was complaining about his feet, and we knew Venom couldn't fully take over..... why didn't Venom just yk. Cover his feet for him and walk? That would have been a subtle sweet gesture while they could've still been bantering and so on.

If they had like. Argued, fought, had an emotional moment at the end, Eddie was upset he never got to apologize- i could see it. But thats another thing- he wasn't even THAT upset...

Its fine to not be a super empathetic person, fuck i dont always cry appropriately either. But he didn't show Nothing and not in a "i'm a no empathy person" way.

Idk!!!!!!!! My brain is scrambled.

People have said a lot of what i have problems with already but idk i just!!! Feel the need to put it out there.

Also i missed the second end credit scene :,)

Next year if I do this again, I'm going to try to watch more non-American movies. There were a couple this month, but not that many. I also want to see more queer horror. But overall I'm very happy with this list and I have some new favourites!

So I keep seeing Deadpool and Wolverine stuff. I REALLY want to watch it but..

I've never watched ANY Deadpool nor Wolverine movies.

This is the kinda movie watcher I am ESPECIALLY with Marvel movies.

Only stuff I haven't really watched is F4 stuff, most X-men stuff, Deadpool, Venom, and 3 different shows (Winter Solider, Anything after first two episodes of Hawkeye, and SHEILD -> Winter Solider just kinda escaped me, Hawkeye I just kinda dropped, and never saw much point in watching SHEILD).

X-men stuff I just keep forgetting to watch, I've watched a few I'm mostly into the comics for them rather the movies tbh.

Deadpool I wasn't old enough for the longest time. I just kinda forgot about it after a while.

Venom is along the same as Deadpool.

I honestly have so much shit to watch Marvel goes into the depths of my brain since I already seen so much and read so much and my family talks about it so much I just don't register I have more I need to watch/want to watch - also not to mention the constant movies coming out - that I just lose track.

Bro speaking of things to watch I need to watch the other seasons if Sweet Tooth I've still only watched the first season haven't continued since the second came out (3rd came out too I believe) also Dragon Price got a new season RIGHT after I finished the last season since I needed to catch up (hate when that happens). I ALSO have to finish so many shows, start shows I want to watch badly, CONTINUE shows I've started (I started one based off a manga - it's live action and actually really good since it's set in a more "realistic" setting but not really since again manga but real world type setting no fantastical elements other than the cheesy flowery stuff - MC is so funny too).

really enjoyed the new spiderverse :) the kind of movie that makes me go "damn i love movies"

my initial non-spoilery thoughts

loooved everything about the opening sequence. gwen's watercolor world is so responsive to her state of mind, transitioning from pastels to darker shades to more water-drippy and impressionistic

the web-slinging/swinging sequences are so fucking cool. just watching miles move through the city is beautiful—the effortless way in which their bodies move along with the camera, the way the web looks; spiderman has never looked better. you just cannot do this shit in live action.

i never got tired or exhausted by the visuals (maybe except until the fight sequence on the rocket/vertical train thing, but that's more action scene fatigue) which shows how well the movie is visually paced

in clumsier hands the self-referential humor ("villain of the week") and multiverse explaining ("canon events") would've been such a pain, but it's implemented really well. they clearly know when to be comedic vs. serious. no "that happened"s here!

i think the first half of the movie is much better paced and themed—i really enjoyed the family drama and miles and gwen just hanging out. once they reach the spiderpeople HQ it starts to feel bloated

it's hard to discuss the themes because it's half of a movie—luckily i went in knowing that, i would've been upset if i didn't know beforehand lol

the vulture at the beginning was very cool. i want to see his leonardo da vinci world

fucking love the spot. a villain who desperately wants to be taken seriously paired with a hero who quips and doesn't give him the time of day, driving him further down the villain path. great stuff

the only live action bit i liked was with the convenience store lady from the venom movies...otherwise it was pretty jarring. i do not need to see crying andrew garfield in my animated spiderman movie

i was happy to see peni :) her characterization and design was one of the more disappointing things about the first movie so i'm hoping her larger role in the third installment will be more in the vein of edgy mech anime/NGE

the slow realization that miles ended up in the wrong universe was soooo good i felt so smart and shocked when it happened. "what's comicscon" indeed

this movie had like 5 different endings lol

the actual ending rubbed me the wrong way in the implication that a world without spiderman (read: law enforcement) devolves into Crime and Anarchy and i get that it's an easy way to mark the universe as The Bad Timeline but it still sucks imo.

...which is a weird contrast to the spider society where they're clearly doing a "miguel's strict law enforcement is harming him and everyone around him" thing but i guess the movie is just going along with the age-old good cop myth. also hated the direct comparison between the spider mask and a cop badge. overall i think the movie's stance on cops and law enforcement is a clear attempt at having their cake and eating it too (especially noticeable with spiderpunk's existence). unfortunately that's probably par for the course for spiderman stories and superhero narratives at large

so interested in what they'll do with prowler-miles. i'm hoping he has an important role in the next one

for me this movie really disproves the idea of superhero/multiverse fatigue

hope all the artists who worked on this get a nice and long vacation. because my god.

"Father-Daughter bonding my ass!" Claudia shouted, brandishing a spatula like it was a deadly weapon. "To think all these times I was hoping you two went to see a movie, only for you to be reliving your teenage superhero days!"

"Then tell me what I just saw on the news, ah?" She took her phone out of her pocket to show a recent screenshot—An article showing a picture of Adrien in full costume, likely taken barely the night before. "I see this Loup-Garou out and about and I'm supposed to ignore it? Think it's one of your old super-friends?"

Adrien didn't bother to mention it, but he'd been planning on the name Papa Wolf, actually. Loup-Garou wasn't all that bad either.

Frustrated that he wasn't answering, Claudia continued to gesticulate at her husband until León walked in to see what the fuss was about.

"You're really putting yourself and your daughter in danger again just for—" Claudia balled her fists up, turning back to her father. "Papa, tell him he's going to get himself killed out there!"

León, woken up much too early to do more than prepare himself coffee, simply shrugged. "Sabe de los reisgos, mija."

"Papa!"

Her father was already too busy watching the coffee machine chug along to input any further on the matter. Claudia pinched her nose, muttering to herself.

"I swear you turn thirty and suddenly none of the choices anybody else makes make sense anymore."

"Hey, Claudia, I promise I can explain it to you," Adrien replied, taking her hand. "We've been safe, I promise. And Xoquito needs the enrichment."

"—You know what? Good point," she muttered, holding up Adrien's hand and yelling into his miraculous. "Xocoh, you can't hide in there forever. I know that's what you're doing."

Karra immediately popped out of the rings, only to hide behind her father's shoulder.

"It was his idea first!" the kwami squeaked.

"Oh, you liar!"

"I don't care whose idea it was!" Claudia exclaimed, her tone sharp and venomous. "I'm just mad you guys didn't tell me. It's not as if I'm too stupid to understand the concept."

"You're right, mi cariña. I'm sorry." He sealed his apology with a kiss to her hand, actively ignoring Karra's muttering that they'd only been doing this 'for three days tops anyways'.

Claudia sighed, finally setting the spatula down on the kitchen counter. "You promise to tell me whenever you're going out like that? Even if you have to wake me up in the middle of the night to do it?"

Adrien wrapped an arm around his wife's waist. "Even if saying it would kill me."

Claudia reached back behind her to knock on the wooden cabinet—A habit she'd recently picked up from her father. Apparently not the same as 'toucher du bois', he'd found, as León did it to avoid the unlucky rather than prolong the lucky.

"If you ever find another one lying around, you know," she added. "I'm not exactly going to turn the offer down."

"Aww, of course. I'll find some for the whole family, even. We can make it a weekly thing."

And then, with a quick peck on the lips, the matter was resolved. Turning back around, Adrien found Karra had taken form again, now holding onto the back of Adrien's jacket.

"You're still going to have to be the one who tells her about you eating pigeons again, chiqui.. I'm not doing that for you too."

"...Shit."

So I HAVE QUESTIONS AND RAMBLES

Spoilers for Venom: The Last Dance ahead:

Wait,,,so like Nal wanted the codex to break free that ONLY Venom and Eddie had bc Eddie had been brought back to life before in Venom 2018 right? And it made it to where those creatures (the big sqeally fuckers idk their name) could sense them only if they were in the full Venom suit form.

But like, Mulligan had been brought back from dead/mostly dead too right? Symbrock aren't the only ones that happped to. I could think maybe it was bc Mulligan wasn't with his symbiote long and had been separated , but that shouldn't make a difference Eddie and Venom had split up too, both by choice and forcefully. Is there some fuckery that happened in the multiverse Spiderland cameos I need to know about? I don't see how there couldn't be multiple codex keys (unless there's only allowed to be the ONE like in every important lore heavy thing ever) like have a series where Symbrock havr to fight all the other potential codex symbiotes and save the planet frol Nal invasion

Like all of Carnage happens between what ostensibly CREATED the codex and when Nal started looking from them, or did Symbrock going into the multiverse delay his quest. They suited up a few times in day to day life and when fighting Carnage, what was stopping Nal sending out those things back then?

Idfk man, maybe going a watching the whole trilogy again will make it make sense, but the Nal storyline kinda left fielded me is all I'm sayin. I really enjoyed the alien hunter family side quest and the Venom animals and of course the absolute LEGEND that is Mrs.Chen, Peggy Lu you're my favoute!!!

(I would've taken a Sleeper story happily)

I don't know if they'd have a Dylan in movie verse, tbh. I don't think they'd have that storyline after dropping Anne and Dan from this movie. Who knows if Eddie would try to contact them unless really really necessary (but also ⬇️)

Aren't they quitting the Venom movies now too? That sucks, I would've liked to learn about those other symbiotes, though I think only the lightning girl and her symbiote lived right? Didn't Christmas girl's symbiote get eaten? (Look I'll learn their names at some point, the movie's new)

Honestly I'd take at least one Venom movie for every other shit Marvel project they keep trying to spit out

Venom: The Last Dance Review

Venom hehehe.... Ahem. Venom: The hahahaha... Sorry, sorry. Ahem hem! Venom: The Last Dance BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

ROAN! *Clap Clap* Get it together! My bad. I've seen the first Venom and it was bad. I didn't watch Venom: Let There Be Carnage for the same reason I didn't watch Deadpool 2. Because it seemed like the studio was queerbating. Regardless, I was curious about this one because the marketing was kinda insane. In the teaser trailer, every shot looked like it was from a different movie. The actually trailer made it seem it's a King in Black adaptation. And that comic is fucking stupid. PERFECT FOR SONY!

What's The Movie About?

After getting drunk in the end credit scene of Spiderman: No Way Home, Eddie and Venom need to get to New York for some reason and the fed are chasing them down because the god Null is sending bug wood chippers to find a MacGuffin.

What I Didn't Like.

Hold the phone... I have a reason for this Buggnutz, just wait. Venom 3, much like every live action Sony Spiderman movies since 2004, is terrible. At least in the objective construction sense. The individual plots are fiiiiine but they way they are structured together and paced once again leads credence to my theory that all the editors Sony hires are drug addicts. The individual scene writing sucks. Every intentional joke fails, but I was still laughing plenty at unintentional comedy. The stakes of the plot are incredibly random. Basically Eddie and Venom are trying to get to New York City because the San Francisco police thinks they killed the detective from the last movie (The one Carnage killed), but they don't get chased by the police. They get chased by soldiers from Area 55 because the detective is actually alive! He was bonded to a cyan symbiote (Who I can't lie, looked pretty cool actually) and told the government about Null. Null is looking for Venom and Eddie because Eddie died in the first movie and Venom saved him by bonding together and I bet you just noticed the plot hole. Yeah, why is Venom and Eddie the only one with the MacGuffin if the detective died and Cyan bonded with him to save him? Also, considering there's like 10 new symbiotes that all look awesome, these new monsters, a hippy family, and Area 51 getting destroyed all happening in the movie, the events of the movie are shockingly low key. It feels like nothing major happens in the movie. EVEN THOUGH THE MAIN CHARACTER DIES. Spoiler. They're literally marketing the movie based on that fact fuck off Buggnutz. Mercifully, Null is barely in the movie, but honestly I'm wondering why he wasn't just cut out entirely. With the exception of sending the bug wood-chippers, all he does is stare at the floor. And this movie has the worst end credit scenes ever. One is Null, boo, promising revenge except the line is something about how his champion is dead so it doesn't even make any sense. And the second is a comedy scene? Except I don't know what the joke is supposed to be?

What I Like.

But here's the thing. I actually like this movie. What?! Yeah. I actually like this movie more than Deadpool and Wolverine. WHAT?! HOW? Well, to be honest, they are kinda similar with the intent of the creator. As in, both these movies were clearly made with fans in mind. But Venom 3 feels like it was made by a fan of the Venom movies, and D&W feels like it was made by someone who reads a lot of fan forums. The Last Dance is goofy, it indulges in weird ideas, not everything lands but it has charm in a puppy-stuck-outside-during-a-rainstorm kind of way. D&W feels like it's expecting massive overpraise for doing the bare minimum. I'm not gonna suck you off because you threw away your garbage in the trash can instead of the floor! Uh... What does this have to do with Venom: The Last Dance? Nothing, sorry. I like the bug wood chippers. They have actual names but I forgot what they are. The way they attack is cool even if it makes no sense that they can jump around all over buildings and no one can notice. The effects are probably bad, but I liked the monster designs of both the bug wood-chippers and the symbiotes that appear in the movie. They are fun colors and have different body shapes and stuff, it's fun! Unlike a lot of Sony-man movies, the don't miss any opportunities. When the feds start melting the military hardware that was left behind in Area 51, or reveal that they have those several symbiotes hidden away in Area 55, you can see where they were going with it but there was a small niggle in the back of my head that the movie was going to not do the obvious thing. Because these movies are made by incompetent chunderheads. But these heads have less chunder than usual, since I did get exactly the climax I was expecting, even if the cinematography and editing sometimes made it incomprehensible. I like the music. It's ridiculous choices but again I had fun with them. Of course I want to see Venom and Mrs. Chen dance to an ABBA remix. And I had a fun time yelling all the Venom animals over the credits.

Final Summation.

Thank Sobol that Venom: The Last Dance doesn't kill off Eddie Brock, because I do not want to put movie as my best of the year. You were actually gonna do that? Yeah well, I made a promise. Here's my 50 cent reduction of this entire review: This movie is great when you have no expectations. If you go in expecting a well made film, you will hate it. If you go in knowing it will be terrible, you will have a good time. This makes it perfect fodder to be a Recojected Movie! (Yeah, bet you thought I forgot about that, huh?)

Hunger Games

SPOILER WARNING AHEAD I WILL BE TALKING ABOUT THE NEW MOVIE!!!

Okay so I saw the new Hunger Games movie last night and it shoved be back into my Hunger Games phase so here I am typing this out now that everyone is back in their HG phase and I have so much to say

Number 1

All these people wanting more backstories and more movies, and more books missed the whole point of the plot

YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO WANT MORE!! WE KNOW ALL THAT WE NEED TO KNOW

I know that everyone wants Finnick and Haymitch books but we already have their backstories! We already know everything we are supposed to know about them and their games and books about them and their games and the torture of children is not necessary!

Read the books! Their backstories are in there. Or read this because I'm going to tell you.

Haymitch won his games. He used the edges of the arena to his advantage and his family was killed for it and that spiraled him and that is why he is now an alcoholic. There that's his backstory you literally don't need to know anymore.

Finnick won his games at 14. He was able to trap the other tributes in hand-made nets and then stabbed them to death with his trident. He was then sold off to the capitol because he had good looks and they used him for his body. There that's it. We don't need a book on how a fourteen year old was sold off for his body.

The first game, which I have seen a lot of people say they want information about, was barely even a game. I'm pretty sure the Peacemakers just shot all the kids because they wouldn't do anything. You really don't need a book or a movie about that. That whole story couldn't even be one episode of a TV show.

We do not need more books about this series unless the author believes there is something else to be said. I highly doubt she has any more to say, she barely wanted to write the prequel.

Number 2

This one is gonna be a little shorter but I still want to say it

I know people are allowed to have theories and headcanons on what happened to Lucy Gray. "Lucy Gray is Greasy Sae" "Lucy Gray is this" "Lucy Gray snuck back in" yada yada

Lucy Gray is free

she is free from Panem. She is free from Snow. She is free from the arena. Lucy Gray left and she never went back because she never wanted to be there in the first place. Her covey was taken by the Peacekeepers and dumped into 12 and then when she got her chance to escape she did and I'm proud.

But wherever she is, when Snow fell, when the games stopped and everything was over I hope she was watching

Number 3

The scene in the woods.

I do not believe that Coriolanus shot Lucy Gray. I fully believe that she got out of there and he hallucinated her in the woods because his paranoia made him think that the snake was venomous.

She was a loose end, and she knew that he would have killed her for it, I fully believe that he realized that she put the pieces together and his paranoia made him think that Lucy Gray tried to kill him with the snake to save herself from him.

this is defo gonna have a dumbass subplot about the conflict between the top dog big guns american cavalry and our true blues. because ofc the americans our saviours know so much more than silly little rural country larrikins and are much better equipped to deal with australia's problems than australia is

why does the music make it sound like a girlie coming of age movie with a mild supernatural twist. sleepovercore and they accidentally summon a ghost but this is a light-hearted family comedy so it just ends up with silly ghost prank shenanigans and a bittersweet ending

"most venomous snake in the world" ofc we gotta have Australian Themed Crimes. couldn't use a damn knife like everyone else. had to be special and not like other girls (countries) smh. i actually laughed out loud at the snake thing

the real reason the first aussie ncis is based in sydney is because non aussies would butcher the pronunciation of any other city. "ncis: wollongong" "ncis: parramatta" "ncis: melbourne" "ncis: geelong". and then anything that isn't brissy in queensland would sound too silly to be a crime show cause like "ncis: gold coast" "ncis: TOWNSVILLE"??? like yeah i'm really on the edge of my seat rn

they should have set it in the literal MURDER CAPITAL OF AUSTRALIA. but actually ignoring murder literally nothing happens in adelaide ever. big news is OMG HEAVY TRAFFIC THE CITY IS GRIDLOCKED and then it's just like 5 cars at a red light instead of the usual 2. no one could possibly suspend their disbelief enough to accept that interesting things could happen there even in the realm of fiction

I enjoy the shows: STH, TOH, GF, The Big Bang Theory (it's a treasure, I love it), The Ghost & Molly Mcgee, etc.

My top favorite movies; " Cruella ", " Spirited ", " The Nutcracker & The Four Realms ", " The Greatest Showman ", and literally any Spiderman movie ever (except for " Venom ", the poster was scary enough, I didn’t need *cough*want*cough* to watch it *acts tough, but can't handle horror movies*).

I do not like: The Knuckles Series (It's... distasteful, to say the least), Radiosilence (It's the worst, I hate it with all my heart and soul. Nobody deserves radiosilence, it's torture), fanfictions that include incest (like people shipping Shadow with Maria and/or Sonic with Tails), little kids (I hate little kids, as well as kids who aren't little, they're just so annoying, I can’t stand it. I am so not parent material), the taste of caramel, lip-sticks (how do you people eat and drink with it on???), sunlight (and no, I'm not a vampire, I just don't like it, vitamin D is literally the only thing keeping me from an A+ blood test), and tumblr bots (they're the embodiment of evil) etc.

I'm not exactly new in tumblr but this account is about two years old.

I love STH in any and every way but my favorite is, and will always be, Sonadow.

random headcanons for peter, ash, wade, and other characters. (some sfw, some nsfw, so just keep that in mind. most of them are for this fic specifically, but some are more general? idk. some were inspired by other people.)

- peter and felicia's eyes glow in the dark.

- felicia has silver tipped fangs.

- after peter got bit by the spider, his regular teeth fell out, and stronger teeth grew in, along with fangs where his canines would be. the fangs produce a numbing venom that, if injected with enough, could paralyze and/or cause someone's body to shut down and kill them.

he also has spinnerets, but the only time he really uses them is when he's like nesting or courting lol.

- in total peter has been divorced 4 times: 2 with mj, 1 with felicia, and 1 with bobbi.

- peter can talk to spiders, and felicia can talk to cats. i'm sorry, i just think it would be funny.

- the way mj/felicia ended up together is peter/mj/felicia were hooking up during both marriages, and during peter and mj's second divorce, mj and felicia realized they were in love with each other and got engaged lol. peter was petty about it.

mj and felicia gossip about peter behind his back, and try to set him up with people. peter hates it lol.

- mj and felicia bought each other engagement rings and came up with their own separate proposals.

- people recognize peter from the parker industries era and give him shit about being poor.

- clint is still salty about peter marrying bobbi lol.

- the way i imagine peter and bobbi got married was they got black out wasted in vegas, woke up married, and were too lazy to divorce right away. they were too busy hooking up and traveling.

- peter's hooked up with most of his friends (mj, harry, felicia, matt, wade, johnny, clint, natalia, bobbi, luke and jessica). so at the beginning of the story, he feels like he's alienated half his friends, but in reality, peter isolated himself. he's an unreliable narrator!

- peter had some kind of falling out with matt while they were hooking up between divorces. he tries to make amends with matt before matt moves to california with kirsten, but matt forgets to call him lol. later matt comes back to visit and they actually talk to each other.

- ben and kaine are nosy brothers who like to know peter's business at all times lol.

- one of the things that attracted wade to peter is the way peter can eat insane amounts of food.

wade: it's like watching a snake unhinge its jaw. beautiful and disgusting at the same time.

- wade throws a divorce party for him and peter after shiklah and mj divorce them.

- my favorite ash headcanon of all time is that his mom was an addams, and that's why he's so tough/durable compared to regular people. but his mom was estranged from the family, so he has no idea why he's different.

- during like a year or so after the cabin, ash sells his story to be made into a documentary, and later, it gets made into the ev*l dead films. (this also happens in soul alone as well)

i just think it's interesting from, i guess, a meta standpoint for a character to deal with the public mythologizing/sensationalizing/consuming their story for entertainment (ex: the stab movies in scream).

- this headcanon is kind of dumb, but i'm gonna put it here anyway. the headcanon is that evil ash is the one that wrote the necronomicon, and he wants ash to rule by his side when he takes over the world. but the book, having known about ash since its creation, has grown attached to ash over time, and doesn't want evil ash to corrupt ash.

- both ash and scotty are originally from new york. (in this fic, ash moves to michigan when he's a kid. scotty never moves to michigan.)

- ash was a cheerleader in high school. (in the greater multiverse, most of the ashes were in band).

- clint and natalia were thieves before being arrested and drafted into shield's suicide squad. the only reason they got free was because of the avengers.

- after clint and natalia flipped shield the bird, natalia started doing mercenary work, and kept running into wade. the two had met before because of weapon x and shield, but they didn't really become friends until natalia semi-retired. sometimes wade hooks up with clint and natalia.

- logan, bucky, natalia, and wade have all met in passing because of weapon x.

- peter and natalia had a weird rivalry where she would just randomly challenge peter to fights, and peter would show up to stop her thefts.

clint: do you have a crush on spiderman?

natalia: i don't want to crush him, i just want him to know how strong and cool i am.

clint:...

natalia: and maybe kiss him too. i can do both.

- the iconic black widow look was created by natalia after she heard about spiderman. she designed her weapons, suit, and everything. (in natasha's original appearance, there wasn't a black widow look. like the other black widows did not dress like this lol. i like to think the red room saw natasha doing her thing and were like "oh damn..." and just tried to copy off her. then later that's how we got yelena.)

- natalia's version of the serum isn't as strong as bucky and steve's, but she does have enhanced speed, strength, stamina, and slow aging. in this verse she and bucky were both cryogenically frozen when they weren't on missions after they tried to run away together. so later when they send natalia after tony, she's 20 (peter and clint are like 18 and 19. bucky's like 20 something).

- peter and natalia do yoga together whenever they have a day off.

- peter kind of wants natalia to give him the strap, but he has things he needs to work out first.

- peter has a thing for wade being bigger than him. he likes that wade's big enough to envelope him. and his muscles.

- peter kept biting ash and numbing him. ash got so fed up that he put his metal fingers in his mouth like, "chew on this." 😠 and peter found a new kink he didn't know he had.

- peter has issues with people buying him things. this is a huge point of contention between him and wade, because wade loves buying stuff for his partners. ash isn't as strict about it as peter because he knows wade's doing it out of love (ash was a sugar baby at one point. he lets wade get him stuff, but he has rules for how much wade can spend and how many presents he can get him per month. and wade has to let him buy him things too).

so if peter won't let wade buy him something he wants because of pride, ash has wade slip him the money when peter's not looking, and he runs to go buy it. sometimes peter catches him, and ash runs through the store cackling because peter can't stop him without using his abilities.

peter: *stomping angrily through the mall* i hate you both.

ash: aw baby. it's not a crime for us to buy you something for your birthday!

wade: partners in gift crimes. *he high fives ash* this is gonna be the best super soft birthday ever!

ash: better than your divorce party?

wade: of course, sweetness. you won't be working this time. hopefully, peter won't be throwing up. though i can't promise no one will be throwing up because i plan to have copious amounts of alcohol. do you think we can smuggle a horse into our house?

ash: we can rent one for the back yard, but it's not allowed in the house.
