i need to read more books about cannibalism. yet i feel like it's so hard for me to find cannibalism books that sound appealing. i have already read Tender is the Flesh and i have a nonfiction book about it but that's about it.
#psy's no punctuation posts#reading tag#shoutout to the customer at work who asked me if i would eat a person bcs he heard me loudly talk about cannibalism one time#i know i've told that story before i just think it's so funny every time i remember it#i saw Exquisite Corpse being recommended a lot so i might check that out. eventually#i did just buy like 4 books and a coworker lent me Jurassic Park which i'm reading rn so not. right now#but eventually

the amount of cannibalism baiting that goes on in the locked tomb fandom makes me SICK. no, absorbing somebody's soul to become a lyctor is NOT cannibalism, i don't care how often the books themselves describe the act of soul consumption as eating you're still not LITERALLY CONSUMING THEM. i want to see meat or it doesn't count. gnawing on your cavalier's arm a bit or eating some of their hair also isn't good enough sorry. what harrow did with the bone marrow soup probably counts but that wasn't sexy, just funny and deranged.
#i also just think cannibalism in the tlt context just isn't really that sexy or interesting to me#bc human flesh and bone are already such abundant materials as to become pretty much inert in their symbolism and meaning#(their in-universe symbolic weight that is)#and if you have a bit you can just make more of it#like. ianthe could literally just take some of her own muscle fibres and make a bunch of steaks out of them. who cares#it's like lab meat#and in some contexts lab meat would still be fun to me but in this one it isn't bc it's so pedestrian#like when you're surrounded by corpses and they're such a basic raw material it loses any sense of transgression#which is interesting and fun in its own right#like the FACT that corpses are so banal and uninteresting is interesting!#but it's not appealing to me in the same way that cannibalism as a theme usually appeals to me#anyway i'm gonna stop myself her before i unironically type the words 'un-queering cannibalism'#i’m procrastinating right now btw i am SUPPOSED to be writing an essay.

i. hm. ive noticed some people have been going insane in my cannibalism tag today and i think mayhaps i should clarify something.
i am not using it as a metaphor. i do actually think it's okay to eat people. i would, actually, like to be eaten. if you have "freaks dni" written anywhere on your profile i don't think my blog is the right place for you on account of I Am A Freak. thank you.
#sweet tooth // blood sugar#it speaks#cannibalism#like okay it was REALLY BAD in december/early january where it was all i could think about but. like.#idk. i am down for it. it's not a metaphor#if i wasn't so in love with living and experiencing the world. y'know? it'd be nice. getting to live on forever with someone#get to sustain my loved ones.#beats the idea of having my corpse sit chemically preserved in a plastic box#maybe it's bc i have to study stuff like this for class that i'm . this way about it??? idk.#and fuck dude if i haven't thought about using the fat from top surgery to make a soup or soaps or something#whatever. ppl can do whatever they want just . if you're coming onto my blog looking for metaphor and irony that is not what i am doing

I love how i get properly Invested in death note for the first time since i was like 16 and one of the first things i do is write two incredibly niche and kind of fucked up oneshots
#Love that for me.#The fics were about *checks notes* shock sites feat B Mello and Near#And B watching A commit suicide and also cannibalizing his corpse#Both completely normal subjects of fanfic and clearly I'm being So Normal about it#was there any demand for this? no. but i sure did write it Anyway#so here we are#mypost#idk how to hide this from the main tags while still making this comprehensible#So you're either going to have to tell me how or it's going to remain there#although I'm thinking maybe Tumblr is still preventing things with the word 'fuck' in them from showing up#so hopefully that takes care of it

In 2023, I had no idea how to tag the gifs of snackie's body burning and getting cannibalized, and in 2024 I have no idea how to tag anakin getting burned on mustafar 💀
#erin talks#text#I've been trying to think if I'm missing any SH characters who get burnt to death#therese obviously and then sacrifice's sister / the entire church...#I luv gore and body horror but I do recognize that 1) most ppl don't <3 and 2) things like getting burned alive#are horrific and cause visceral reactions in people . but how do I tag it? 😭 it's not like ppl blacklist immolation or smth like that#anyway there's a really cool gifset of snackie being cannibalized in between pre-crash scenes in my drafts & it's REALLY cool#but . I don't want to like ruin someone's week by showing them a (fictional) half-burnt corpse being eaten#I guess I'll go with like the reg body horror / gore / ask to tag tags & if anyone unfollows understandable half a nice day

i like a cannibalism motif as much as all of us but unfortunately it's hard to apply that to my ocs when the main guy with an animal motif is associated with the ant
#carpenter/woodcutter ants to be precise. it's a layered thing#but yeah if you guys could help me figure out how to associate all those fun images of toothy mouths & slabs of meat#with. ants. that'd be great#it's not urgent or anything though this dude's pretty decked out in terms of symbolism#also sprach#i mean there's the decompositional aspect of stripping the meat from a corpse's bones but um. is that cannibalism#c u thru the q#really i'm trying to think of other ocs of mine associated with animals or whatever and i'm not getting much.... i mean rosa's a dragonfly#but that's not really an association or anything. ey're just a creature. kind of a furry design i guess but nothing more#ricardo has the fish but you know that's not even hes main motif hi's actually got a fairy thing going on if you can believe it#plus i don't know isn't all fish kinda vague? imagine a koi trying to be cannibalistic#ally. okay it works with ally. not even an animal motif there. man am i missing out

bleeding blue | apocalypse au
part fifteen —other parts
pairing: Simon "Ghost" Riley x fem!reader words: 3.7k tags: death. blood. cannibalism mention. zombies of course. AFAB reader. single dad ghost. there will be sex but it isn't here yet. slow burn!!! enemies to lovers. summary: After losing your companions, you run into a skull-masked man and his daughter. They are your last hope for survival.
Pearly sunlight weaves through the trees, casting freckles across the calm current of the creak. Somewhere, a raven bleats loudly, but your ears block out the sound. The skin between your brows wrinkles with concentration as you tightly grip the wooden makeshift spear, its carved point hovering just above the water.
Numerous fish writhe below you, and your eyes dart between them studiously before finally settling on the meatiest one. With a quick stab, your spear pierces the water's surface, but all it hits is the mucky bottom of the creak. The fish startles with a splash and swims off downstream.
"Fuck me," you huff, standing up from your squatting position on the rock to soothe the growing ache in your thighs.
Fishing shouldn't be much different than hunting, yet, it's been hours and all you have to show for it is a small chub the size of your palm. With a sigh, you decide your craving for fish isn't worth all this effort and leap off the rock, carrying your measly catch in one hand and spear in the other. Maybe the still waters of the pond could be an easier spot to try someday.
You chose the creak over the pond because it's a greater distance from camp. The longer walk allows you to fixate on the emerald green leaves fluttering in the breeze and the soft chatter of swallows that are returning after their winter migration. Everything is starting to turn into Blue's favorite color. For the first time, you departed the cabin without a jacket, opting for only the long-sleeve tee from Ghost. You had the sleeves rolled to your elbows while fishing, but as you trek back through the wild grasses, you push them down and allow the fabric to brush your knuckles.
There are hardly any flowers left on the Pink Sorrel after all your foraging. It's a shame they taste so good because the petals are a beautiful fuschia. Arriving at camp, you amble over the plucked stems, bound across the trench with ease, and spot Blue on the other side of the gate offering Grim a wad of grass.
The moment you returned yesterday, she had asked how training with Ghost went. That was quick, she'd observed. Weasling past the rules of your friendship, you gave her a half-lie: He went easy on me this first time. She didn't seem fully convinced that Ghost and 'going easy' belonged in the same sentence together.
"Hey," you greet. "Open the gate for me?"
Grim is given a pet across his back before she leaps up to undo the locks.
“Hey. How’d it go?” She looks at your near-empty hand. "Fucking noodles. That's it? I thought there were lots of fish there."
"There are. I just suck at catching them."
She gives you an apologetic smile. "Oh— Ghost was looking for you, by the way."
It takes you a moment to respond. "He was?"
"Not sure what for." Her brows furrow. "I'm also not sure where he went. He was here, and then—" Her blue eyes glimmer like water in the sunlight as they shift to something in the distance. "Oh, there he is."
The very person you'd spent hours of alone time trying not to think about arrives as a shadow, lugging what appears to be—you squint—a fucking corpse behind him. Upon closer inspection, it is certainly a body, and with how wonky the limbs look as they drag against the ground, it must be a Grey. That's a little more reassuring, and a lot less bothersome, than if it were a human corpse.
He drops the corpse in front of the trench, rubs his gloved hands together, and then passes through the parted gate.
"Is that what you wanted Twix for?" Blue asks, nodding to the Grey.
Ghost explains himself in an even more gruff baritone than usual. "Knew I smelled something." He speaks at you. "I wanted you to check south while I checked north."
"Oh. Sorry," you say lamely and hold up the small chub. "I was, uh, fishing. Looks like you found the source, though. Just one?"
He nods. "Only found one. Could be others so we'll keep an eye out."
"Why did you bring it here?" you ask curiously.
Blue is the one to answer. "To burn it. Sometimes it seems like they attract each other, haven't you noticed?"
"Right," you grimace. "Blood and rot. Their favorites."
Setting down the catch and spear, you help Ghost gather some wood from the modest pyramid stacked beside the cabin. He nudges the Grey with a booted foot, making it tumble limply into the trench. Starting the fire in there should keep the flames contained.
As you silently place the wood and some kindling over the carcass, your mind is in two places at once. With Ghost right next to you, it's impossible to not think about yesterday; how it felt to be grabbed by him, how he questioned you again about the ammo trip, and how you can't help but detest the thought of him looking at you in pity like he once he did.
You also think about how much you fucking hate Greys. Christ, they are disgusting. Your fingers accidentally brush against the paper-thin skin that hangs off the bones and a shudder travels up your spine.
Ghost starts the fire with a match and the two of you watch the flames catch, quietly at first— then, they roar through the corpse, quickly turning it black. Bitter smoke intermingles with the crisp spring air and the smell has you coughing into your arm.
Blue has taken it upon herself to avoid the fire, making an audible gagging sound before scooping up Grim. In her absence, you shift from foot to foot, stealing a glance at Ghost. He watches the ash build up and the flames tamper down in mild interest.
Your fingers curl up into balls, fisting the excess fabric. "Are you worried about more?" you ask him.
It's the first thing you've said to him - actually said to him - since cutting your training short. He loosens a breath and slightly shrugs his broad shoulders. "No. I told you. We never see more than a few at a time." You weren't worried, but if you were, his dismissal of the subject would reassure you. "You should be careful until I finish your bow, though. Unless you're good at throwing knives."
"I'm not," you almost snort, voice no louder than it needs to be. "But Blue is quite good at it. She's been killing squirrels for me."
He hums his response, a low sound that gets lost in the crackle of embers, and you wonder if that's him showing a lack of interest in this kind of conversation with you. With a deep inhale, you change the subject to one you can't ignore.
"Ghost— I want to apologize," you turn to face him, straightening your shoulders. "I wasted your time yesterday. It won't happen again. If we could... give it another try, I would like that."
The smoke is starting to fade. Ghost breaks his gaze from it to study you. You try not to shrink away, wondering what he's thinking. If he feels pity, it's impossible to detect in the dark irises set behind his mask, though, you've never been able to find much of anything in them.
"You didn't waste my time, Twix. I have an interest in your capabilities."
"What?"
"If you're going to be staying here," he elaborates, "—then your strength is of value to me. I'd like to know that if I ask you to do something, you can do it. That if shit happens again, I can rely on you."
"You can," you breathe out. "I am... capable."
"You are," he agrees, looking away. "You're good with a bow. You think quick. But you're still weak, and you doubt yourself." The blunt comments make your brows lower, but you can't help but feel satisfied with the glimpses of approval. "Yesterday was my fault. You weren't ready for it and I should've known that."
"I am ready," you protest, lips parting as you shake your head. "Let me try again. I don't want to be coddled."
"I'm not going to coddle you," he replies in a firm drawl. "I want you stronger first. Let's start there."
“Okay.”
A hand.
There's a hand on your shoulder, heavy and firm, offering a slight shake. With a gasp, your eyes fly open to darkness, only the white of a skull visible above you, illuminated by a sliver of moonlight.
"What the hell?" are the first words you sputter, voice harsh and raw from sleep. You grip your throat to clear it.
He scans your face. "Get up. Come on."
"What? What... what fucking time is it?"
"Almost dawn. Let's go."
It takes a few deep breaths to calm the rush of adrenaline ignited by his abrupt wake-up call. Go where? you think to ask, but instead, you slick a hand through your hair, warily rubbing your eyes to adjust to the lack of light.
Somehow you end up outside, wading through the sprawled-out fog as you follow behind his silhouette, the morning so early and quiet that it would've felt like a dream if not for your crunching footsteps. You braid your into a single, tight braid along the way. With such shitty sleep, you're too out of it to even scowl at his backside, wondering how getting up at this hour will in any way make you stronger.
The answer is in the two axes he carries and the towering oak tree he stops in front of, your eyes climbing up the height of it before landing back down on Ghost. Your hands are forced out of your coat pockets when an axe is offered to you, fingers curling around the handle and abs tightening from the surprising weight of it.
Confusion rolls around in your gut. Slowly, you ask, "Um. You... want me to cut this thing down?"
"We need more wood after yesterday." He inclines his head and gives a tap of his own axe to the thick trunk. "Good size for you to start with."
"It's huge," you mutter under your breath. "Why do we have to do this so early?"
If there's any reasoning to it at all, he doesn't bother sharing. Rather, he stalks over to another tree about ten meters away. The calm air is soon shattered by the rough sound of metal biting wood as he starts effortlessly cutting the trunk. A large part of you considers dropping the axe and leaving without a word, but you ignore it.
"Alright then," you whisper to yourself.
It's not the first time you've chopped down a tree. You used to help Paul with it, and truthfully, you're surprised Ghost has never asked you to do chores like this sooner. It's certainly bigger than the skinny, young trees you used to go for, evident in how little of a dent you make with the first swing.
Either you're as weak as Ghost claims, or this axe of his is heavier than the one Paul had because your biceps feel strained by the third hit.
"Have you never done this before?"
The voice at your back nearly makes you drop the axe. Whirling around, you face the colossal presence of him and wonder how you didn't notice it sooner.
"I have." You rest the thick blade on the ground, grumbling. "Do you have a thing for sneaking up on people?"
"Be more aware of your surroundings." His tone teeters towards admonishing, and he looks you over before ticking up a brow. "And fix your stance before you throw your bloody back out."
He nudges the toe of his boot against yours, forcing you to spread your feet further apart. Your lips roll together as he grunts in approval. "Try again now."
When he takes a step back, you face the tree again, bending your elbows before extending them sharply. The blade cuts deeper this time, if only by a little.
"You're focusing too much on your arms," he remarks behind your shoulder.
Your eyebrow twitches. "I'm... I'm holding the axe with my arms. Why would I not focus on them?"
"When you're shooting arrows, what muscles do you use the most?"
Thinking back to those lessons from Paul, you answer almost immediately. "My back." It's always the part that gets most sore. "And my... my shoulders, I guess."
"Focus more on those."
His advice helps. The next swing deals considerable damage to the bark. You turn to see his response, but he's already gone back to his tree.
The next few days involve so much chopping and sawing that you think you might be starting to hate wood and all of its forms. After the trees are down, you have to cut them into sizeable logs. The back-and-forth motion leaves your arm numb. You quickly realize why Ghost is making you get up early for this work— once the sun is out, it becomes miserable, cold sweat cascading down your back and temples.
Blue decides this is not the kind of training she's interested in watching. You don't see much of her except during dinner where she offers to cook the squirrels she's caught for you. You don't object. You pick the meat apart down to the needly bones, wiggle your sore toes of their confinements, and knock out earlier than either of them. Fatigue goes back to claiming you swift and heavy, like a current that pulls you down, down, down. The dreams sit behind a dark wall, blocked for now.
It goes on like this for a whole week, and somewhere along the way, you stop hating it. The grunts that leave your mouth are laced with exertion and focus. Your arms don't hurt as much. You split the logs apart as your mind fills with thoughts of everything you hate. Greys. Death. Pity. You imagine breaking all those things into a hundred, rotten pieces. It feels... good.
One morning, you awaken to sunlight already bleeding through the plywood, and confusion sits you up. You look around, wondering why Ghost didn't get you up sooner, only to find Blue lying belly-down on the raggedy rug, flipping through one of her new magazines.
"Where's Ghost?"
"Good morning to you, too," she sings. Her chin inclines from where it rests in her palm. "I decided you need a different kind of training today. He's setting it up."
"You... you decided that, huh?"
She hums. "I made you breakfast. Go eat." She waves her hand. "I'm sure he'll be done soon."
You have no idea what she's talking about, but your stomach guides you to the cooked meat calling your name. She points out things in the magazine, like old celebrities and ridiculous perfume ads, cute boys and yummy sweets she wishes she could try; you nod along as you eat.
When he returns, she perks up. Practically tugs on your arm. You have to remind her that you're still barefoot. She impatiently groans the entire time you are lacing up your boots, taking your sweet time on purpose.
The pond is where she leads you. That place where you first saw her.
Except today, there is a thin log stretched across one end to the other. A bridge.
"We have got to work on your balance, my student," Blue announces, hands on her hips. A gentle, warm breeze tousles her hair and she swipes it from her face. "We can't have a repeat of you-know-what."
Your brows shoot up and a chuff of breath leaves your nose. "Are you trying to say I have no sense of balance?"
"That's exactly what I'm saying. Come on, now."
You almost forgot Ghost followed the two of you out here until he sits on a tree stump with his carving knife and the bow he's making. He's been working on it for a few hours every day. Today, when you steal a glance as Blue clasps your hand and leads you to the homemade bridge, it almost looks like a bow, finally taking on a curved shape. You can't see much of it, though, because soon you are being instructed to cross the log.
"Without falling," Blue adds.
"Easy," you tease, shrugging.
"Prove it."
The log is about the width of the metal beam, but much shorter. You cross over it, arms outstretched at your sides and boots hovering a few feet above glistening water that is teeming with fish. When you step down on the other side, you shoot Blue a grin.
She rubs her chin. "Not bad, not bad. Again."
You do it again with ease, even though your muscles are still stiff from your morning workouts.
"Okay, this time, we're going to make it more realistic."
By realistic, she means baring her teeth in a growl and sticking her arms out like a Grey. All of a sudden, you are being chased across the log, Blue running behind you. Explicatives leave your lips until your boot misses a step and you fall into the water. This time, the shallow pond offers a comfortable temperature that doesn't send your body into panic mode. You break the surface, able to stand up on the rocky bottom, and throw your wet hair out of your face as laughter bubbles up your throat on its own accord.
You look up at Blue, playfully glaring. She smirks.
"Come here, Grey," you say.
You grab her by the ankle and pull her down into the water with you. She gasps and giggles, thrashing around in her soaked clothes as you splash water in her face.
"Or," you taunt, "Should I say Amelia?"
Her eyes widen. "How did you—"
Then, she's leaping at you, pushing your head under the water. "Don't ever call me that."
"Or what?" You tease and swim away, scaly fish brushing against your ankles as the wide legs of your jeans ride up. "You'll kill me?"
"Might have to!"
You're not sure how long the two of you swim in there. Minutes. Maybe an hour. Until your fingertips are pruney like how they used to get when you used to swim in the pool with your sister.
You hoist yourself out of the pond and sit by the water's edge, drenched shirt clinging to your breasts uncomfortably, but you don't care. You've felt far more uncomfortable things. The buttery sunlight kisses your exposed cheeks as you wring out your hair, Blue sitting beside you to do the same thing.
She peels off her wet jeans, probably uncomfortable in them. You would do the same if you were eleven and didn't care. On her thigh, the thick scar from her bullet wound blemishes the soft, pale skin.
"I'm a better teacher than Ghost, huh?" she says.
"So far," you nod, glancing at him. When you do, his eyes meet yours across the short distance. Only for a second. Before they flicker back down to the bow.
"He hates swimming, you know."
You look at her. "Oh yeah?"
"Yeah. He never really goes in with me." She shrugs and buries her fingers in the grass. "Hey. Look. There are those violets I told you about."
You follow the direction of her eyes and sure enough, a patch of wild violets decorate the ground, gently bent in the breeze. As your clothes dry, the two of you pluck them. They are beautiful. Dark purple petals. You braid them into her hair. She tries to do the same for you, but her braiding skills need some work. It's a nice break from the past week you've had, your sore limbs sprawled against the grass to dry.
It's when the sun starts to lower that Blue puts her jeans back on. Your clothes are still wet, and the wind is starting to pick up, spreading gooseflesh across your skin.
"Here."
The familiar low voice announces his presence. Tucking your wet hair behind your ears, you look up at Ghost. The two of you haven't exchanged many words except for his occasional correction of your form while cutting wood.
He stands against the sun. You take the finished bow from him in quiet awe. It's even nicer up close, the smoothed oak caressing your palms as you glide them up and down the length of this new weapon. The first one he gave you was made for a child, but this one is larger, the perfect size for you. Your index finger gives a pluck to the string, feeling the hum of vibrations. He must have just added that.
"Thank you," you tell him honestly. Whatever uncertainty or irritation you might feel about him doesn't change the swell of gratitude you feel in this moment. It’s a tangible thing that sits in your chest. “It's... great, really."
"Might take some getting used to,” he says gruffly.
You shrug. "That's alright."
You glance to your left where Blue is still changing. With a swallow, you hold the bow tight to your chest. "Do you think I'm ready to try more tomorrow? Not just the wood. I feel like... I feel like I've been getting stronger from it already."
He gives a short nod. "Tomorrow, then."

bucktommy + a pet
When Buck gets home, he's surprised to find Tommy sitting on the couch with his jacket still on, cradling the right side of his chest with his left arm.
His first instinct is that Tommy's injured and trying to hide it. He crosses over to him in a few long strides and that's when Tommy looks up at him. "H-ey, Evan!" He says a little too cheery. He tries to tug his jacket closed over his chest.
"Tommy... what are you trying to hide? Are you injured? I swear, if you're trying to hide--"
"Meow." A tiny muffled sound erupts from Tommy's chest.
"Did your jacket just meow?"
Tommy looks at him sheepishly and then pulls back his jacket to reveal a tiny kitten tucked against his chest. "I can explain."
Buck chuckles, shaking his head fondly, because of course Tommy would and god, he looks especially soft and huggable with a kitten cuddled against his big chest.
"Let me see," Buck reaches to pick up the tiny, fluffy thing, but it squirms and huddles closer to Tommy's face. "Hmm, I think he likes you." Instead, he bends down to take a closer look and that's when he realizes he's a tuxedo cat.
"Well aren't you a distinguished little fellow?" He strokes its head with one finger and the kitten seems to accept it.
Then, he turns to look at Tommy. "He needs a name, don't you think?"
Tommy beams at him. "Does that mean we can keep him?" He asks, hopeful.
Buck shakes his head again, smiling back. "I come home to my hot, beefy man holding a kitten and I'm supposed to say no? I'm only human, you know."
Tommy reaches with his free hand and pulls him in for a quick kiss.
"How about Hannibal?" Tommy murmurs against his lips.
"Hanni-- Tommy, are you naming our cat after a cannibal?!"
"Uh- I mean you said he looked distinguished and when we were watching the show the other night, you joked about Hannibal being like a cat and he wears tuxedos... Come on, it's funny!"
Buck groans, but gives in because it's cute, his boyfriend's cute. Tommy likes to talk about Buck's puppy eyes, but Tommy's are lethal, too.
"Ok, ok, fine, but if he starts bringing us mangled mice corpses or something..."
"To be fair, cats do that."
"Tommy!"
Tommy only laughs, bringing him in for another kiss, as Hannibal purrs contentedly.

Maybe Ronin X cannibal reader? But the reader hides it and our fav boy discovers them in the middle of "grabbing dinner"?
Happy halloween!-Ronin x Cannibal reader!
TW: Blood, Gore, Cannibal (reader), Cannibal jokes, Mention of body parts etc
"Bon Appétit" — Ronin x Cannibal!Reader
Ronin always knew something was off about you. Not in a bad way—just different.
Maybe it was how you always turned down dinner invites with a lazy excuse, or how you avoided restaurants altogether like they were some kind of trap.
It was a quiet night. Too quiet for Ronin’s liking. Normally, by now, you'd be spamming his phone with some dumb memes or asking if he wanted to hang out. But you’d gone radio silent.
He moves silently, the familiarity of sneaking around fitting like a second skin. Crowbar tucked loosely in his hand, boots crunching against the dusty floor.
He rounds a corner, and there you are—squatted low, your back to him, hands deep inside a body that still twitches, like a machine winding down. Blood coats your hands, sleeves stained from wrist to elbow. And the sound—the wet, ripping tear of flesh and sinew—makes something stir in him.
You’re so focused that you don’t even hear him. It’s almost funny. Almost cute.
He leans against the doorway, a smirk slowly curling on his lips.
"Well, well, well… what do we have here?"
You freeze. Every muscle in your body locks up, heart slamming in your chest. For a brief, foolish second, you think about pretending. Saying it’s not what it looks like, that you tripped and—yeah, no, that won’t work. You’ve got chunks of someone’s kidney in your hands.
Slowly, you turn your head, blood splattered across your face, meeting Ronin’s amused, knowing gaze. And shit, the way he’s looking at you—it’s not disgust, not fear. It’s something far worse: entertainment.
"Grabbing dinner without me?" he teases, cocking his head. "Kinda rude, don’t you think?"
You blink, momentarily thrown off by the calmness in his voice. "This isn’t... It’s not—"
Ronin cuts you off with a sharp laugh, like the situation is the funniest thing he’s seen in weeks. "Relax, sweetheart. You’re not the only freak in the room."
He steps closer, the crowbar tapping lightly against his thigh. The corpse at your feet is still fresh—blood pooling across the floor, the metallic scent thick in the air. But Ronin? He doesn’t flinch.
"Didn’t think you had it in you," he muses, crouching next to the body. His dark eyes flick between the dead man and your stained hands with an expression that can only be described as impressed. "Guess I underestimated you, huh?"
You stare at him, mind scrambling for some kind of response—some way to salvage the situation. But Ronin’s grin only widens, like he’s already five steps ahead of you.
"So... you always eat 'em like this, or is tonight a special occasion?" His voice is playful, like he’s making small talk about the weather.
"Relax, sweetheart," he interrupted smoothly, crouching down beside the dismembered body, inspecting the work with genuine curiosity. "You didn't really think you could hide this from me forever, did you?"
You shot him a glare, though it felt more like a defense mechanism than anything. "It’s not what it looks like."
“Oh no, it’s exactly what it looks like." Ronin’s grin widened. He leaned closer, his voice dipping into a conspiratorial whisper. "You’re a freak."
Your heart skipped, panic simmering beneath your skin. "Don’t tell anyone."
Ronin snorted, clearly amused by your fear. "Oh please. What am I, a snitch?" His plum-colored hair fell into his eyes as he tilted his head, studying your expression. "I’m not here to rat you out, babe. I'm here to see what makes you tick."
You didn’t know if that was more reassuring or terrifying.
Then he reached out, swiping his thumb across your cheek to wipe away a streak of blood. He held his thumb up, inspecting it like an artist admiring a brushstroke. “You’re messier than I thought you’d be. Kinda cute, actually.”
You slapped his hand away, scowling. "This isn't a joke, Ronin."
“Oh, it’s not?" His grin remained infuriatingly intact. "Could’ve fooled me. You're acting like this is some big shameful secret." He gave a mock gasp, eyes wide with exaggerated horror. "Oh no! Reader’s a cannibal!"
"Ronin—" You started, but he was already laughing.
"Relax, I’m not judging." He smirked, straightening up and brushing his hands off on his pants. “Not my place to tell you how to live your life. I mean…” His gaze flickered to the half-eaten remains. “At least you have good taste.”
You pinched the bridge of your nose, exasperated. "You’re impossible."
“And you,” Ronin replied smugly, leaning in close enough that you could feel his breath against your neck, "are way too cute when you’re trying to look innocent."
Your stomach twisted—whether from embarrassment, guilt, or something much darker, you weren’t sure.
Ronin knew exactly what he was doing. Knew how to make your skin crawl and your heart race all at once. And the worst part? You liked it.
He clicked his tongue, patting your cheek with mock affection. "Don’t worry, sweetheart. Your little secret’s safe with me."
he turned to leave, he glanced over his shoulder, tossing you one last grin.
"You know, if you were hungry... you could've just told me."
Your breath catches, caught between the weight of his words and the dangerous glint in his eye. He tilts his head, watching your reaction with interest, like you’re some puzzle he can’t wait to solve.
"Next time," Ronin says, dragging the crowbar lightly across the floor, "let me help."
Your heart stutters at the offer—half a threat, half a promise.
Then, as casually as if he’s offering to grab takeout, he adds, "I’d love to see how you do it up close."
You blinked, stunned into silence, as he sauntered off into the night—like walking in on a literal crime scene was just another Tuesday.
And somehow, you knew—without a doubt—that this wasn’t the last time Ronin would come snooping around about this.
The next time you saw Ronin, he came bearing… gifts.
The sun had barely set when you heard a knock—three soft taps against the flimsy metal door of the same old building you'd started using as your… dining room. You knew it was him before you even opened it. Only Ronin knocked like he owned the damn place.
And sure enough, there he stood on the other side, a mischievous grin stretching across his lips. But what made your stomach drop (or maybe growl) was what—or who—he had slung over his shoulder.
"Look what I found," Ronin said cheerfully, like he was showing off a stray dog. "Nice and fresh."
The man groaned—still alive, barely—but Ronin adjusted his grip on him like he was nothing more than luggage.
You stared. "Ronin, what the hell—?"
"Relax," he cooed, brushing past you like this was some kind of surprise party. He dumped the man onto the floor with a careless thud, crouching beside him to give the guy’s cheek a little pat. "This one won’t be missed. Scumbag. Thought I’d save you the trouble."
You crossed your arms, feeling a mix of dread and something uncomfortably close to excitement swirl in your gut. "You’re really okay with this?"
Ronin shot you a sly grin, wiping his hands on his jeans. "Let’s just say… I’ve got a flexible moral code." He stood, nudging the guy with the toe of his boot. "Besides, I figured—if you're going to do this, might as well have some company, right?"
The man groaned again, half-conscious, as Ronin turned to you. His gaze softened just a little—just enough to make your stomach flip. "You gotta eat, babe."
You swallowed thickly. "I don't think—"
Ronin stepped in close, tilting his head so his lips were almost brushing your ear. "C’mon, sweetheart. No use playing shy now. You’ve already got blood on your hands."
His voice was low, warm—like a devil tempting you to cross the line you were already standing on. And the worst part? You wanted to. You really wanted to.
He leaned back, hands in his pockets, watching you with that lazy grin. "Or do I need to feed you myself?"
You rolled your eyes, shoving his shoulder. "I can handle it, idiot."
"That's the spirit," he chuckled, stepping aside to give you room to work. "Now let’s see those culinary skills in action."
The hunger gnawed at you, sharp and insistent, and before you knew it, you were crouching beside the man, the world narrowing down to the sound of his shallow breaths and the promise of iron on your tongue.
Ronin crouched next to you, utterly unbothered as you began. His hand brushed lightly against your back—comforting, almost affectionate—as if this were some intimate little date instead of… well, this.
He stayed close, watching with fascination as you fed, his smirk never wavering. When you paused to catch your breath, wiping your mouth with the back of your hand, he tilted his head and grinned.
"You look good like this, y’know."
"Shut up," you muttered, though the heat in your face betrayed you.
He rolled his sleeves up lazily, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips. "Alright, sweetheart. Open wide."
You shot him an incredulous look, wiping your mouth with the back of your hand. "I can feed myself, Ronin."
"Yeah, yeah. But where’s the fun in that?" he teased, plucking a choice piece from the victim’s bloodied arm like he was sampling charcuterie at some upscale event. "C’mon, let me spoil you a little. You earned it."
The way his voice dipped sent a chill down your spine—like this was a game to him, and you were the star of his twisted little fantasy. It was equal parts infuriating and… intoxicating. He was good at that, pulling you in just enough to leave you breathless, unsure whether you wanted to kiss him or hit him.
"Ronin—"
Before you could protest further, he pressed the piece of flesh against your lips, grinning wickedly. "Say ‘ahh.’"
You glared, but the hunger gnawed at you relentlessly, and damn it—he looked so pleased with himself, like this was the most romantic thing he could do. With a heavy sigh, you parted your lips. His smirk widened.
"There we go," he murmured, almost reverently, as he slipped the morsel into your mouth. "Tastes better when someone feeds you, right?"
The warmth of the meat, the metallic tang still lingering on your tongue—it sent shivers down your spine. But the worst part wasn’t the taste. It was him. The way he looked at you with a blend of admiration and possession, like you were his favorite meal.
"Good, yeah?" he whispered, as if he needed the confirmation.
You bit down slowly, savoring the taste and the strange thrill of it all. He watched every movement—eyes dark and full of satisfaction—like he'd just pulled off the most intimate act in the world. And maybe, in his twisted way, he had.
"See?" he whispered, wiping a stray drop of blood from your lip with his thumb. "Told you I’d take care of you."
You swallowed, the heat in your chest spreading, equal parts shame and satisfaction.
"You're enjoying this way too much," you muttered, voice low.
Ronin just chuckled, his eyes never leaving yours. "And you love that about me."
And as much as you hated to admit it… he wasn’t wrong.
He fed you again, slow and deliberate, like this was some dark, sacred ritual between the two of you. Each bite came with a grin, each touch a silent promise—he would never judge you for what you were. Hell, he loved it. He thrived on it, the corruption, the intimacy, the shared depravity.
When the meal was over, you leaned back, exhaling a shaky breath. Ronin wiped your mouth again, his touch lingering.
"Feel better?" he asked, his voice low and warm.
"Yeah," you admitted reluctantly.
His grin widened, a spark of triumph flashing in his eyes. "Good." He leaned closer, his lips brushing your ear. "Next time, I’ll pick someone even better."
You knew you should feel horrified. You knew you should push him away. But instead, you smiled.
"Deal."
Now, you know Ronin wasn't the man of his words. He's a snitch. That just told your secret to Angel, You know both of them were close, You just felt happy Ronin could share some things from his chest.
But, he did snitch you.

Dress Up!
Alastor x Reader - Fluff - Gender Neutral
A nice and slow morning with your lover, Alastor. You both try to figure out what couples costume to wear for Halloween. You both come to an agreeable conclusion, after all, he always believed ivory was a pretty color on you.
TW: Nothing I think lol
This is my late Halloween special. Remember to stay hydrated and to not eat too much candy at once!! <3
It was a nice peaceful October morning. You were curled up in Alastor's lap, nursing a nice steaming drink. He was settled into his comfy chair, a cup of coffee in his hand. It was a slow yet cozy morning for you two, the fall equivalent of lounging in a lazy river. The weather outside was dull red and chilly to the bone. It beat winter, but it was still cold. The dreary outdoor weather was the perfect indoor weather.
His arms rested on the arm rests, providing a comforting sort of cradle for your body as you snuggled up to him.
“Halloween is coming around,” you began, catching his attention. You tilted your head up, catching his expression. His eye brow was arched high, a bemused smile on his face as he took a sip of his coffee.
“Hmm, I suppose it is, dear. We can carve pumpkins if you'd like? The roasted seeds make wonderful snacks,” he proposed.
A mischievous smile grew on your face. You faced forward, opting to not look at his face. “That's a great idea. We can decorate the hotel for Halloween. But, what about Halloween itself? It would be a pity to skip out on the festivities,” you mused, gently guiding the conversation into whatever tomfoolery you had planned.
To be honest, it was way too early in the morning for your shenanigans, but Alastor had always enjoyed your odd sort of chaos. You shifted in his lap, turning around so you straddled him.
Perfect, now he was totally trapped and helpless against your mischief!!!
His head was tilted to the side, boosting your courage through his curiosity. You silently noted the adorable way his ears stood. One was lax, flopping down, but the other was at attention, almost like an antenna facing the sky.
“And what festivities would you propose? I know Charlie intends on hosting some sort of Halloween party. Are you suggesting we attend?” he watched you take a long sip of your drink, leaving him waiting.
Like a fly to honey, he fell for your trap. Of course you knew he was just humoring you and going along with whatever you wanted, but it was still nice to pretend you were some master manipulator. Perhaps you were secretly a master manipulator, after all you convinced him to date you.
“I don't see why not, ah- but it’s a costume party. You can just show up without dressing up! So, what if we do those couple's costumes? Imagine! You can be butter, I can be bread. I can be salt, you can be pepper. You can be Joker and I can be Harley!” You proposed ideas, the concept of a couples costume had been brewing in your mind ever since fall rolled around.
He seemed bemused, a grin on his face. “Costumes? Dear, I believe I'm already a demon. That's enough of a costume, is it not?” He countered.
You groaned. “That's not the point! Its for fun! How about we go as a vampire and helpless maiden?” You pouted.
“Darling, I'm a cannibal. That's basically a vampire. And you're already a helpless maiden to my charms. There's no need for a costume like that,” he teased, sipping his coffee as he enjoyed your offended expression.
“Little red and the big bad wolf?”
“Your cheeks are red enough, and I’m always ready to devour you. No point in dressing up as what we already are.” You ignored his flirtatious and flustering words, as he always said such things with the most innocent expression, as if he weren’t having the time of his life making you blush.
“Ugh, you're impossible! Corpse bride?”
“Hmm? What's that, dear?” He questioned, raising an eyebrow and tilting his head once more.
He startled slightly when you suddenly grabbed his face with your hands. “Oh you sweet summer child. We need to get you culture. Tonight we are having a movie night. I don't wanna hear any objections,” you decided. “I'll be Emily, you'll be Victor.”
He cupped one of your hands on his face, gently easing it off to instead intertwine your fingers. “The title has bride in it. Does that mean you're the bride and I'm the groom?” He pressed a charming kiss to your hand that never failed to make your heart go pit-a-pat.
“Yup. I get to wear white and everything,” you grinned, seeing him genuinely consider it.
“I suppose its an acceptable costume…” After all, he always believed ivory was a pretty color on you.

♱ ₮ⱧɆ ⱧɄ₦₲ɆⱤ: Ø₦Ɇ ♱
♱ Pairings: boyfriend!yungi x chubby!fem!zombie!reader
♱ Genre: horror/angst/fluff/a micro drop of smut
♱ Summary: On your way back home from a party you and your boyfriends get into a terrible accident. While they walk away nearly unscathed, you don't walk away at all. The next day while mourning their loss your reanimated corpse finds its way back home and sparks their journey down a very bloody road that pushes the limits of what exactly they're willing to do for love.
♱ Word Count: 3.5k-ish
♱ Warnings: you're dead, babes, sorry. Undead technically. Mentions of a car accident, some grieving, light descriptions of your undead body, technically necrophilia, blood play, blood drinking, a lil smidge of cannibalism if you squint, masochism, Yungi are like really obsessively dedicated to you, kissing, and a handjob to top off this totally normal list of warnings.
♱ A/N: If you're reading this I'm assuming you're also a fellow horror lover so, hello my love. I've been working on creating a lot of horror series lately and this is one of them. I'd consider this like the lightest appetizer, the bread before the meal so to speak. An intro before we head into a world of full blown erotic cannibalism, murder, dismemberment, ya know, fun wholesome things that await in further entries. So if this is too icky for you I beg of you stop here. It'll only get worse.
The rain hasn’t stopped since. It began the moment you died. Sheets of it pouring down from the weeping and endless night sky. Down to the minute, down to the very second that doctors pronounced you dead. And even now, as the morning sun pries itself through a thick fog of gray clouds, it cascades around the quiet little house you called home. One that's been filled with sorrow because you’re lost. The two men inside seated opposite each other at the kitchen table, picking over a thrown together breakfast, have lost you.
And the rain…it hasn’t stopped since.
But Mingi doesn’t mind. Everyone who needs to know has been informed and his phone has been on silent since. The rain’s an armor of sorts. Knowing no one can make the drive out to bother them in this weather has bought him the time he needs to accept a reality that doesn’t feel quite real yet.
“You should eat something” Yunho insists, fork tapping at the edge of his ceramic plate, his own food untouched. He knows it’s nothing special, nothing close to the delicious meals they woke to everyday from you, but he poured everything he had into it.
Mingi raises an eyebrow, swirling the fork an inch or so above his plate before shoving the gleaming silver into the space between the cast on his left arm and his inflamed skin. Every human has two bones in their forearm. The ulna and the radius. Mingi walked away from the car accident having fractured both of them. Yunho, the driver, had gotten lucky with only a few cuts and bruises. A flesh wound to the abdomen. And you, well…
“Can you stop that?” Yunho asks, the sound of the metal back of Mingi’s fork scraping against plaster grating his ears. It isn’t his fault, though his heart aches in a thousand places thinking that it is. Mingi doesn’t blame him. He couldn’t have predicted the oncoming truck would swerve the way it did. No, he blames the world but, isolated between these eerily quiet walls, Yunho is all there is to it.
Mingi scratches faster, deriving some relief from the sting that comes along with it. “I’m sorry, is this bothering you?”
Yunho breathes in and back out. In and back out again. Deep, full breaths meant to calm his boiling rage at that incessant screeching. Mingi doesn’t mean to do this. He’s just hurting. They both are. “Just ignore it” Yunho tells himself “Ignore him. Ignore the burning in the pit of your stomach. Ignore the tears.”
“Stop it before you hurt yourself!” Yunho shouts, snatching the fork from Mingi’s hand.
Blinking, his eyes dart over to his empty chair and back to a shocked Mingi. Yunho isn’t sure how he got over here. He doesn’t even remember getting up. A tear runs down his cheek, the exhaust from an overheated engine, and he swiftly wipes it away.
Mingi hangs his head, ashamed of his immaturity pushing Yunho a little too far. “I’m sorry” he says, sniffing back tears of his own, “But it hurts so much. It’s not fair. It’s not fucking fair. I just want her back”.
Yunho tosses the fork onto the table, taking Mingi into his arms just as he breaks down into tears, “I know, I want her back too. I’d give anything to see her smile or hear her call my name again.”
Tap. Tap. Tap.
A rattling at the front door lighter than a toddler’s, light enough that it’s nearly lost to the rain. “Yunie! Mingi!” a voice calls sweetly, broken and the faintest bit horse but distinctly yours. The blood in their veins runs ice cold, the color draining from their faces. The men look to each other, desperate for confirmation that they haven’t lost their minds.
“Did you—” Mingi starts, rising from his chair, careful not to make a sound.
Yunho nods, moving towards the front door, with Mingi close behind. They tiptoe down the hall, floorboards creaking here and there as they pass framed photos of the three of you together. “Open. Please. Cold. So cold” your voice croaks once more, Yunho’s fingers inches from grasping the doorknob.
Mingi slips off to the side, peeking through one of the curtains, and his heart nearly stops from what he sees. “Open the door! It’s her!” he shouts, pushing Yunho aside to unlock the door.
Yunho slams it shut, unable to wrap his mind around what’s happening, “What do you mean it’s her? It can’t be her!”
“It’s her! I swear! Open the door!” Mingi begs, gripping the doorknob tightly enough that his hand’s begun to redden, “Yunho, please.”
There has to be an explanation for this. Some shared hallucination fueled by their grief. They’re only hearing things, they must be, but Mingi seems to need this and Yunho can’t bring himself to deny him of it. “Okay” he sighs, backing away from the door, “Do it.”
Mingi wastes no time tearing it open, rain pouring in as you limp across the threshold. The two towering men shrink at the sight of you, terror freezing one where he stands and making the other retreat into a corner.
Barefoot and soaking wet, you wear the tattered, blood stained dress you were rushed to the hospital in. In death your skin has paled, broken blood vessels giving your lips a light blue hue. Behind you is a trail of muddy footprints, marking your journey up the front stairs to this place you call home.
It’s a blur. Your death and your return. It’s all a series of broken memories, fragmented pieces of film that make you dizzy each time you attempt to piece them together. You can only recall a party filled with dancing and laughter. Headlights brighter than the sun. Screaming. A dark place. A coldness eating at your bones. Then, like magic, you were here, dragging yourself up to the front door with blistered feet and an unnerving stillness in your chest.
Turning to meet the faces of the men you love, faces that haven’t once failed to light up in your presence, you’re puzzled by their fear. Noticing Mingi’s injured arm, you run your fingers down his cast.
“Mingi hurt?” you grunt softly.
His eyes blur with tears and he blinks them away, quickly conjuring up a lie to soothe your worries. “Only a little. I was working on something out back and, well, you know how clumsy I can be, but it’s nothing” he says, smiling through the tears.
You return the comforting gesture with a smile of your own, placing a frozen palm against the warm wetness of his cheek. “Liar. Mingi hurt. And…sad?”
“No, baby, not sad. I’m just happy to see you. We’re happy to see you, aren’t we?” Mingi looks to Yunho, confident that he feels the same way, but finds instead that he’s alone in his joy.
Backed so far into a corner that he might as well be a part of the wood paneling, this is nothing short of a nightmare for him. This is unnatural. Far beyond anything that should be possible. You, the real you, is lying on a slab in a morgue somewhere. Whatever’s standing before him is something he can’t bring himself to trust.
“Yunie hurt too?” you ask, turning your attention to the bruising around his jaw. You hobble over to him, nearly touching his hand before he snatches it away.
“Don’t touch me.”
His rejection is so alien to you that you don’t even process it as such, reaching out for him again. “Yun—”
Your fingers skim his, making his skin crawl. “Don’t touch me!” he yells, slinking clear of your grasp. “I don’t know what you are but you’re not her. She is dead. You are dead.”
“Me? Dead?” The word sends more memories racing through your head. The taste of wine. Your favorite. Mingi’s arms around your waist. A high pitched ringing in your ear. The beeping of machines. The visions drown you in an overwhelming sense of sadness that makes you want to crumble into pieces.
“No! Don’t listen to him!” Mingi says, filling the space between you and Yunho,“You’re not dead, baby. You’re here with us and it’s a gift.” Ignoring the nagging pain of his injury, Mingi lifts you up into his arms, cradling you like a baby as he carries you up the stairs.
“Now how about we get you cleaned up?”
“Take bath? Bubbles?”
Mingi laughs, smitten with you even in your undead form, “If that’s what you want, of course.”
Yunho slides down to the floor, growing catatonic as he zones out to the sounds that come from above. The running of bathwater, his best friend’s laughter, and the broken words of some kind of monster. This has to be a nightmare. All he needs to do is wait it out until he wakes up.
“Wake up” he whispers like Dorothy clicking her heels together three times to escape the land of Oz, “Wake up. Wake up…”
Two showers, one long bath, and a few hours cuddled under the blankets with Mingi. That’s all it takes for you to begin to look more like yourself. You’re far from what you used to be, signs of your time as a lifeless corpse still showing through, but you’re coming back to yourself and, however long that takes, Mingi’s more than willing to wait it out.
While you’ve refused to eat, despite the grumbling of your empty stomach, he’s managed to keep you happy with movies and games which now litter the bed and the area around it. Much to Mingi’s dismay, beating him at everything is something you picked up on quickly. You’ve only been back to life for a few hours and already you’re kicking his ass again.
“Play again?” you ask, excitedly spreading your winning Uno hand out on the blanket.
Mingi yawns, the sleep he lost last night beginning to catch up with him, but he shuffles the deck for a new game anyway. He knows he can’t keep this up much longer. His lids are growing heavy and his focus is waning but he can’t, for any reason, allow himself to drift off to sleep. While Yunho may be somewhere in this house terrified by the possibility that this isn’t just a dream, Mingi’s been haunted by the very real possibility that it might be. What if he closes his eyes and you’re gone again? That’d mean losing you twice and his heart can’t survive breaking for you a second time.
As Mingi deals the cards, you glance around your bedroom with fresh excitement. Every new color or scent brings your dulled senses back to you if only briefly. And every item has a memory attached to it. Some vague, some incredibly vivid, but all serve as a suitable feast for a brain hungry to recover what once was. Just as your focus hones in on a pair of fluffy puppy shaped slippers by the door, you catch a tall figure looming in the doorway.
Halfway obscured by the wall, Yunho watches you the way a scientist would its test subject. Simply observing, waiting for you to do something that proves you’re an imposter. But you only smile at him the way you always have, making him feel strangely welcomed to enter the room.
Coming up here was far from his intention. The rain had let up almost immediately after your arrival and he’d picked up the car keys a half dozen times to leave. Once he got as far as the end of the driveway before he turned back, making it further up the steps each time until finally gaining the courage to face you.
And it is you. Despite the words he spat in fear and anger, he felt your energy all around him when he first heard your voice and that feeling’s grown in intensity every minute since.
“Are you playing or are you just gonna watch like a pervert?” Mingi teases.
Yunho steps from behind the wall, arms folded across his chest, “If I recall correctly you’re the one who likes to watch” he shoots back, cautiously entering the bedroom.
“Ha” you snort, sorting through your hand, “Like with sex and stuff.”
“Oh, I see you’ve been helping her get her language skills back. Starting with the important words first, huh?”
“Playing or watching? You pick. Quickly” you insist, patting Yunho on the arm, his prior reaction momentarily slipping your mind.
He winces a little, jogging your memory, and you go to pull away but he stops you, taking your hand into his. It’s like holding hands with a block of ice, making sense of the baggy sweatshirt and sweatpants you’re curled up in. What you said on the other side of the door had been true. Cold. So cold.
Yunho’s thumb traces the blue collapsed veins down the back of your hand, brushing past your knuckles to an empty space on your ring finger. There used to be two gorgeous silver rings there, part of a set of six that he and Mingi had made for all of you.
“Mingi says we’ll get back, won’t be a problem. Right, Mingi?” Your question’s met with the sound of snoring, a few seconds without stimulation being just what Mingi needed to drift off to sleep. You crawl up the bed to lay down beside him, poking at his cheek. “Mingiiii” you sing, softly flicking at his plush bottom lip.
Yunho slips in on the other side of you, pulling your fingers away from Mingi’s face. “Maybe we don’t do that” he laughs, “We should let him rest. I think he’s tired.”
“Mingi’s tired and what about you?” you ask, rolling over to face him. The color of your eyes are marbled between the paleness of death and their natural shade. It’s bizarre but beautiful in a way that mesmerizes him.
“Tell me, have you eat and sleep?” You pet his hair, watching it twirl around your fingertips in bouncy brown wisps. Being touched by you, it’s something he thought he’d never feel again, and the joy of it makes him want to cry almost as much as the fear did.
“It’s ‘eaten and slept’ but no, I haven’t. I couldn’t” he says, “I’d ask you but…”
Your stomach grumbles, announcing its hunger. You hadn’t eaten before the accident. The party you were headed home from had been overflowing with alcohol but food, at least any you were interested in, was in short supply.
“I can cook for you. We haven’t been shopping but I’m sure I can whip up something.”
You shake your head, having already gone through this with Mingi, “Nothing really tastes good but the smells help.”
“The smells? What smells?”
“Mmm” you hum, sniffing the side of Yunho’s neck, “You and him. Your smell makes me warm inside.”
Nuzzling your nose against his neck, you inhale the scent beneath his cologne. The natural oils of his body are more fragrant than anything that comes in a bottle. You rest a hand on his heart, feeling it pound as your lips meet his heated skin like ice against fire.
Yunho can’t help but feel guilty about the way his body responds to you. He can’t manage to fight the instinct to bring you closer, massaging the fullness of your curves through the thick cotton of your clothing. You part your lips, dragging your tongue along veins that rush with hot, fresh blood. As they pulse below the surface of his skin, yours begin to pulse as well, matching the rhythm.
“I…I’m not sure we should be doing this” Yunho stutters, his hands betraying his words to move under your sweatshirt and reacquaint themselves with the rise of your hips and the hills of your breasts. His lust for you only makes the blood pump through his body faster, worsening your hunger.
“But I need you to keep me warm inside. Please don’t let me be cold again” you beg, sinking your teeth into his neck. Blood drips from his wounds, coating your tongue, pooling in the bottom of your mouth. It’s the taste of life, draining his to restore yours, and you’re ravenous for it.
Yunho screams out in pain, sacrificing a few shreds of flesh to tear himself free of you. “You bit me! Why would you do that?” he cries, stumbling to his feet, his sleeve pressed to his neck to control the bleeding.
On your hands and knees, you move to the edge of the bed like a lioness prowling for her next meal. Your eyes swell with tears at the pain you’ve inflicted but your mouth salivates at the delectable taste of his blood. The ecstacy of it sliding down your throat makes you feel more alive than you did when you actually were.
“I’m sorry, Yunho. I didn’t mean to hurt you, really. I think I’m just, mmm, hungrier than I thought” you pout, speaking with perfect clarity for the first time.
“Hungrier? Are you…you’re trying to eat me?”
“Eat you? Of course not. I would never. I only needed a nibble to make me better.” You raise your shirt, stroking your exposed skin as it grows plumper and warmer to the touch. “Come feel me. Touch me.”
Your voice is like a spell, drawing Yunho back in. Your body sings out to him, whispering how badly it longs for him. He wants you, though he shouldn’t. The searing pain in his neck dulls at the realization. It gets him off seeing that you need him this desperately. Not only for pleasure but to survive.
Approaching the bed again, Yunho lowers his blood stained sleeve from his neck and caresses your body. The red liquid coating his fingers sticks to you like candy, leaving a trail of red along your belly. You lean into him, sliding a hand up his thigh to palm the growing bulge in his jeans. He lets out a satisfied moan, lightly tugging at your hair so that your head’s tilted back, sparkling eyes gazing up at him.
“What are you?” he whispers with whatever speck of sanity he has remaining.
His bloody fingers find your mouth and you lazily lick them clean, savoring the taste. All the while your own hand’s undoing his zipper to stroke his length, your thumb circling the moist tip of his cock.
“What am I?” you giggle, “I’m yours, aren’t I?”
Releasing his middle finger from the suction of your soft lips, you push his sweater up to kiss your way across his lower stomach. Every kiss has his cock twitching in your grasp as his fingers tangle deeper into your hair, keeping you in place.
And then you find it. The perfect spot. You aren’t sure how you know but you just do. You suckle at his skin, letting your teeth gently pierce the surface until your tongue’s reintroduced to the taste of his blood. Yunho grits his teeth through pain that only makes the adrenaline rush that follows all the more pleasurable.
“I’m still yours, aren’t I, Yunie?” you ask, his flesh still filling the space between your teeth.
Yunho pulls your head back and leans down to kiss you, the feeling of your lips against his worth the faint metallic taste that comes along with it.
“Of course you are, baby” he whispers, “You’ll always be mine and I’ll never let anything hurt you again. I promise.”
You lay back on the bed, pulling him on top of you, and wrap your legs around his waist. Yunho tears at your clothes, kissing you ravenously as if he’s the one with the undead hunger that must be fed. He’s ready to rip them off of you and take you right here with no regard at all for the best friend sleeping an inch away from you. But a loud banging at the downstairs door snaps him out of it, stirring Mingi from his sleep in the process.
Mingi jolts upright in bed, on the verge of a heart attack, “Huh? What? What’s happening?” He glances over just in time to catch Yunho climbing off of you to zip his pants back up, the blood from your second bite already showing through his clothes.
You reach back to rub Mingi's leg, your view of him inverted, “Mingi, be calm.”
“Be calm?” he shouts, jumping to inspect the blood on your face, “Answer me now. What happened?”
The banging on the front door gets louder and Yunho throws a “Ssh” at Mingi, sneaking to the window to get a peek at the unexpected visitors.
“Don’t shush me! Why’s there blood and why were you…”
Yunho turns around slowly, eyes wide and hands trembling, “Mingi, shut up.”
“No, not until one of you tells me what’s going on and who the hell is that?”
The banging continues, shaking the door so hard the hinges creak. Yunho sits back down on the bed, his brain firing off in a hundred directions at once. He wishes the knocking at the door were another minion of the undead—some corpse you accidentally drug back with you from the trenches of the morgue—but what awaits him this time, what awaits all of you, is something far worse.
“It’s the fucking cops.”

I'm in the mood for...
July 28th
~*~
1. Hello hello! ITMF fics where Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are bound together by that tethering (binding/bonding depending on translation) talisman. Like, where they can't go further than a couple feet from each other and if one yanks on the tether the other gets pulled along. Thank you! <3
~*~
2. Does anyone know of any fics where problems are solved via the use of truth talismans/spells? For example, maybe the hundred holes curse issue could be cleared up early on after a truth spell is used to determine the caster. Or maybe they can trap JGY in a truth spell and avoid most of his nonsense.
🔒 the language of flowers and silent things series by Reverie (cl410) (M, 107k, WangXian, LXC/NMJ, LWJ & Madam Lan, NHS & LWJ, LWJ & LXC, LWJ & NMJ, LWJ & NHS Friendship, Developing Relationship, POV LWJ, Minor Injuries, Autistic LWJ, Implied/Referenced Child Abuse, aka the YZY warning, Genius WWX, Light Angst And Hurt/Comfort, WWX Protection Squad, Gusu Lan Sect, Slow Burn, Protective LWJ, LWJ-centric, Politics, Canon Divergence, No Sunshot Campaign, Cultivation Sect Politics, Protective WWX) features a Lan Wangji who is cursed to hear when people tell lies, which is a truth spell of sorts
Safety of Distance by little-smartass (Linxcat) (T, 64k, 3zun, Post-Canon Fix-It, Xichen and his zombie boyfriends go on a miserable roadtrip to try and fix their shit, things get a lot worse before they get better but they DO get better, exploration of grief and growth within 3zun, 3zun learning to communicate? in MY AU? it's more likely than you think, specific warnings will be at the top of individual chapters but in general the fic has:, exploration of self-loathing and horror/disgust re: zombie bodies, canon-typical monster-fighting violence, Suicidal Ideation, Canon-Typical Fierce Corpse Body Horror, all of 3zun struggling with individual mental health issues, but it also has a hopeful and cathartic end, there is a light at the end of their exhausting tunnel I promise) is a post-canon 3zun fic in which a truth curse on JGY (put there by WWX) plays a significant role

~*~

Lets play~
(Alastor x reader)
Description: You're Lilith's younger daughter. While Charlie was the perfect child, you never seemed to be good enough. Well, after she disappeared, you made up your mind when you found out her secret....
You walked down the streets of hell, watching sinners and demons reaction to noticing you. You were the younger daughter of the morningstars, so it was no surprise to you to see them cower or run away.
But you couldn't think of this right now.
You had a mission, a place to be. You needed to find someone. Someone that you knew, all so well, would share your interest.
You walked through Cannibaltown, seeing corpses being consumed while the sickening sound of riping flesh and pained whimpers could be heard.
The poor soul that fell victim to a cannibal on your left seemed to be still alive. You sighted but didn't interfere.
That wasn't your job, and it would do you no good to be known as merciful. You needed to be tough. Otherwise, the reputation you build up over all these years would be for nothing. No one would respect the second princess of hell when she had mercy for someone as low in rank as that demon. Well, at least not in hell.
While you thought about that, trying to be as heartless as possible, you reached your destination. Rosie's establishment.
You knew, for a matter of fact, that the radio demon would be there. After sending out your little shadow spies, you knew when he would be here. You also just could've walked straight up to the hotel and asked him there, but that wouldn't work with your sister there.
You didn't want her to know anything about what would be happening.
You entered the store, even though the sing outside said 'closed'. You looked around a bit till Rosie approached you.
"Hello your Highness, how can I help you?"
She clearly was annoyed that you disturbed the little tea party of hers, but you couldn't care less.
"I was searching for someone. He should be your guest at the moment, Alastor. I need to talk to him!"
You answered her question confidently, watching her facial expressions change to a surprised one.
"Uhmm, yeah, sure, would you like some tea while discussing whatever brings you here?"
You simply nod, following here to a room upstairs, caring yourself with as much grace and confidence you could bring up. You had to hold up the act at any cost. Otherwise, it could be used against you. Even though nobody down here would dare do that, you wanted to be sure. She was everywhere, always watching.
As we entered the room she led me to, I looked around. There was a table near a huge window which led to a balcony. Tea cups and cake placed on it.
When my eyes wandered up, I met his gaze. He grinned smugly at me, almost as if he knew already why I was here.
"Greetings! How can I help you your highness?~"
"I have something to discuss with you."
I looked over my shoulder and glanced at Rosie. She nodded and left, and I sat down on the opposite side of the table.
"I want to make a deal with you."
I watched as his eyes widened, and it looked like he was surprised.
"Well, I certently did expect that.... May I ask why you, out of all hellish kind, would need my help?"
I sighted. This was the moment everything would change. If I say it out loud, I wouldn't be able to take it back. I had to decide whether I really wanted this and wanted revenge for what has been taken from me. Whit the magic I held, I quickly send out my shadows to make sure no one other would hear what I was about to say.
"I know why you've been absent for so long."
He froze in place, smile still remaining but looking as if it was fake, as if it had dropped if it could. But he couldn't. He couldn't allow anyone to see behind his masquerade.
"I know who you made a deal with, and I want to destroy her as much as you want to. I can help you get free from your chains if you help me achieve my revenge."
"My dear.... I'm afraid you don't know what you're saying. As much as I wish you'd speak the truth, im afraid that what you desire can't be accomplished. Not from you or me."
"You don't know everything. She might be stronger in power, but that doesn't mean it's not worth a shot. I guarantee you that I'll make sure you won't get hurt and that in the end, if everything works out as planned, we'll both be finally free from the misery her existence brings us."
I watched as the gears in his head worked while he looked down on his tea. It was risky for both of us. But I had nothing to lose, and from what I knew, he didn't either. I held my hand out, waiting how he would decide as I spoke.
"So what do you say? Are you willing to play this game with me?"
He sighted.
"How could I resist a good game?"
He took me hand and green, and red light illuminated the room.

An: heyy ok so this the best I could do and I hope you like it. I don't know if I will continue this but we'll see what comes next.... take care<3
