✧₊⁺ forget about everything for a while
se-mi x fem! reader
✦ synopsis: you find your ex in the place you least expect it, and then again in the bathroom. she wants to say sorry but she doesn't know how..so maybe eating you out helps?
tw: minors dni, smut w a little plot, bathroom sex, fingering/oral (r!receiving), sub!reader, dom!se-mi, degradation (a little?), a bit of choking
authors note: hi! this is my first time writing (and in english) so im trying my best! tysm for reading and i hope u like it!
of course she's here.
you would've thought that after years of trying to get over her, the next time you'd see her, it would be at the coffee shop, where both used to go frequently. maybe even at the gas station, where she bought cigarettes and (per your request) a slushie.
you never thought you'd find your ex at the games where everyone was getting killed.
but of course you did.
so when you saw her standing there, wide eyed, being left alone to basically die as her entire group left her, the only conscious thing you could do was run to her and grab her hand.
se-mi stares at you, taking a double look to see if she was mistaken but nop, that's just her luck. it was you.
she would recognize that hair everywhere.
"what the fuck-" se-mi said, like she'd seen a ghost.
"no time to talk, maybe later" you said, dragging her into one of the rooms and closing the door behind.
she leaned against the wall and crossed her arms in front of her chest, she wanted to say a lot and at the same time, she had no words.
"why are you here?" she asked. her eyes searched for yours.
"my dad, he's.. extremely i'll and i couldn't let my mom carry with all that" you spoke, trying to regain your breath from the adrenaline of minutes ago and ignoring her pleading stare.
se-mi stares at the floor, trying to find the right words to say. what could she say to make it better.. after all these years?
"i didn't know. he's a really good man... i'm sorry"
"yeah." you reply, bitter "how could you know when you've been declining my calls and ignoring me?" you roll your eyes as you leaned against the door.
"i can't do this here, i really can't" se-mi said, putting her hands over her face trying to supress the wave of sadness that washed over her everytime she thought about you.
you bite your lip with rage. she was still avoiding you, after all this time.
"yeah no worries. i wasn't planning on staying here talking to my ex either" you mumbled.
she glanced over you trying to keep her cool facade as they open the doors
hell. you couldn't wait till this was done.
as you stirred in bed once. two. three times without being able to sleep, you decided that maybe the best would be to splash some water on your face, at least to be somewhat alert.
knocking on the door asking for the bathroom, the guards weirdly enough allow you without a lot of resistanse. maybe they're in a good mood.
you open the bathroom door and stand in front of the mirror, taking some water in between your hands to splash on your face.
you let out a sight when se-mi steps out of one of the stalls, closing the door behind her.
she looks a bit surprised when she sees you standing there. she stays in silence as both lock eyes from the mirror, her gaze softening as she roamed all over your face.
after a few seconds, she spoke in a soft and quiet voice.
"can't sleep huh?"
you nodded, turning around to look at her.
"it's been hard here. i just don't know when it's gonna be the last game" you spoke. she nodded in agreement.
there's an expression that you can't read on her face. it feels like guilty, pity and sadness all at once. you can see a hint of concern in her eyes.
"i really am sorry, you know...for not calling." she says.
you nod, getting closer to her, taking her scent. almost forgot the way she smells.
she looks at you with a frown on her face. deep down, you know she's sorry.
"i tried so hard to let you go..." you whisper, looking into her eyes.
"i tried too." she says, leaning an inch closer. "it never worked"
her eyes slowly reading all your features, as she took a deep breath and slowly placed a hand on your cheek, gentle. leaning into her hand, you sure missed her touch.
she bit her lower lip and gently cupped your face in between her hands.
"it's up to you se-mi. i've already said everything you needed to know. you were the one who was never sure" you whispered, feeling her breath on your face as the distance kept closing.
before you could even register what she was doing, you hear her mumbling a soft "fuck it" before she closed the distance and pressed her lips against yours.
the moment your lips touched, it felt like something snapped inside of both. one of her hands slid down to grab your thighs, encouring you to wrap your legs around her waist. so you did.
she pressed your body against the wall from behind while bitting rough on your lower lip. the kiss going from slow and loving to a rough, deeper one. both tongues fighting for dominance, you let her enter in your mouth as one of her hands slides from your thighs to your neck, softly squeezing for a few seconds, making you break the kiss to whimper for air.
her eyes scanned your whole face, eyes and pouty lips, basically begging her to fuck you. she let out a low groan as she kissed you again and again, going harder each time. her mind filled with nothing but the taste of your lips and the feeling of your chest pressed against her. little moans escaping from your lips, making her wanna ruin you right then and there.
"i missed this so much" you mumble in between kisses. the words sending a small pang to her chest as she pulled away from the kiss to lean her forehead against yours. her voice slightly shaking from lust, replies.
"i missed this too"
you pulled her by the neck, enough for her to kiss you again. you could feel yourself throbbing only from the kisses. grabbing her hand that sat on your waist, you lowered it down to where you needed her the most.
"i cant wait any longer.. please" you begged her to ruin you.
she looked at you with lustful eyes. "if it was any other moment, i'd make you beg, but since i dont think we have that much time.." she said, falling on her knees.
you pulled the pants and panties all in one go as she helped to get rid of them and pushed you softly against the wall.
she placed one of your legs on her shoulder and started to kiss your inner thighs, making you let go small whimpers. se-mi could feel herself growing wetter just by your scent, it was driving her crazy.
you placed a hand on her hair, softly pulling, and quickly her kisses escalated from inner thighs to your puffy clit, as her lips wrapped around it, you couldn't help but moan.
"be quiet" she hissed. "or you want everyone to know what a slut you are? maybe next time i'll fuck you in the common room" she smirked as you replied with a desesperate moan and a nod. "of course you'd like that. want everyone to know i'm the only one who fucks you stupid, princess?
as she finished her sentence, she placed her tongue on your clit. a cold feeling left you whimpering.
oh.
is that-
thats a tongue piercing.
of course she got a tongue piercing.
you covered your mouth with one hand to quiet your moans as the other one pulled her hair.
as two fingers entered your needy cunt, you bit your lip to quiet a loud moan. she kept working her tongue on your clit while roughly doing and 'in and out' motion with her fingers that was quickly dragging you to the edge. her eyes became almost black with lust as she roamed your fucked out face, your eyes rolled back from pleasure.
"i forgot how good you are at this oh my god-" you kept moaning and whimering as her fingers became rougher and quicker inside and her tongue picked a more rapid pace "no one will ever make me cum like you do se-mi"
her mind clouded with lust as she heard your words. she added another finger and could feel your cunt clenched around her.
"gonna cum baby? you feel so thight around my fingers." she said, her words driving you closer and closer to your release. "poor baby, she was just begging to be fucked like the slut she is, i bet no one ever made you this wet" she cooed while teasing. se-mi chuckles at the way you moan senseless in agreement.
"i need you to use your words, can you do that baby?" she says, her tongue pace fastening making you clench even more. "or maybe i should stop and let you talk"
"n-no please- please. im so close, s- so close please" i begged in between whimpers.
she grunted, fucking you harder. "cum for me princess, cum in my mouth. you're such a good slut" she said while wrapping her lips and sucking around my clit.
the motion of her lips and her fingers curling against your spongy walls at the same time, hitting your g spot, was enough to have your cunt pulsing and eyes rolling back. you felt the pressure snap and a warmth spreading on your lower tummy, you arched your back.
she keeps slurping everything until youre a whiny and trembling mess.
she decreases her pace, slowly removing her fingers and standing up, making you lick her fingers clean, staring into her eyes.
she helps you get dressed again, and it feels like how it used to all over again, the soft aftercare.
after cleaning you, she softly kisses your forehead and pecks your lips, she was apart from you once, and she's never gonna do it again.
"i love you. i'm so sorry for everything" she says, still trying to catch her breath.
you nod, tired, and give her a fucked out smile as she chuckles.
"i still love you too. so this was a 'im sorry for breaking your heart, i'll fix it by eating you out' kind of apology?" you say, trying to stop your legs from shaking.
you let yourself into her arms as she hugs you tight and fixes your hair gently.
"mhm, but i'll have to keep doing it, just so i can make sure you forgive me"
"please do..."

Did.... did you say stuck-porn scenario San?? I'm gonna need that asap please👀 your writing is so yummylicious it's not even funny
rock & a hard place
summary: your roommate lends a helping hand. genre/pairing: roommate!san x fem!reader warnings: smut 18+ mdni, softdom!san x reader, unwanted creampie, kinda size kink, slight dubcon, so pls read with caution :) bom note: me writing jongho smut after jongho smut and forcing myself to write other member smut - i can’t put down the cup, i can’t put down the cup💔💔
You’re humiliated.
You’re not sure how you managed to fit your entire front half into the dryer, but the panic inside you is rising with every second that passes. The confined space of the machine is only making it worse as you try to fight your way out. Seriously, you swore this was only something that happens in porn.
You can’t even reach your phone. The last resort, the most embarrassing one, is to call your roommate.
Your voice is quiet at first, embarrassment shrouding your entirety. San is an understanding sweetheart, you know that, but he is unfortunately also one of the most handsome men you’ve seen. To have him seeing you like this, with practically naked in just your panties and bent over is what the kids call ‘an aura-loss.’
He comes running the second time you call for him, hearing the panic in your voice, “Are yo-ah.”
San covers his eyes at first, taken aback by the sight of your naked body. Even though you can’t see him gawking, he still feels too awkward to do it unashamedly. Your little plump ass is literally on display for him, in your adorable Hello Kitty patterned panties, and he can’t help it when his face sets on fire. Or when his shorts grow tight.
Hearing the realization in his voice only makes you want to disappear even more, “I’m so sorry, San, I was just getting my clothes. I don’t know how I got stuck.”
He’s still frozen in place and scared to touch you, “Don’t be sorry. I’m just-uhh. How do you want me to get you…out?”
San tries to psych himself up behind you, softly slapping himself as if that’ll get rid of his raging boner. He can’t rip his eyes away from your ass.
“Just-do what you need to, San.”
With your permission, San grabs your hips firmly. His hands send electrifying tingles throughout your body, but you have no choice but to ignore it. You don’t realize that San is fighting the same urge behind you, squeezing your hips and caressing your skin under the pretense that he’s finding a better grip. He never noticed how soft your skin is until now.
He pulls once, to no avail. The second time, he accidentally bumps against you with the force he uses. San mutters out a swear at the feeling, almost cumming right then and there. His hard-on isn’t helping, with every little inch he moves he’s in jeopardy of letting you know how hard he is.
But, he can’t help himself. You’re just so tempting, if anything it’s your fault for walking around like this. He rubs himself once on you, playing it off as an accidental touch, but he immediately needs more once he feels you. He’s dizzy with need, dizzy with you, and he just can’t resist the climbing urge he’s feeling to seize this opportunity you’ve presented him with.
San keens over, leaning onto the dryer in front of him, “Sh-shit,”
You feel him. You feel his desperate cock, his hot breath against your back, and the growing heat of his entire body. He feels your body shudder at the size of his bulge as it presses against you and he can’t help but think that maybe you want this just as bad as he does.
San tentatively inserts his fingers under the band of your panties, “Just-need better grip-hah-okay?”
“W-wait, San!”
He pulls your underwear off with one swift tug, groaning when he sees your slick glistening in the dim light. You’re shaking and he can’t help but find your little pathetic pleads adorable.
“You won’t get out of here until I help. So just let me help you, okay?”
He sounds so beautiful when he’s desperate and needy, and there’s really nothing you can do but submit to him. You don’t have time to react before you feel the cold metal of his rings rubbing through your folds. You hear his breathy moans as he continues exploring you, feel his shaky fingers trying their hardest to hold back. His other hand struggles to hurriedly get himself out of his sweatpants, already leaking and tip red with need. You suddenly feel San’s lips on the small of your back. A kind warning kiss, you fear, for what’s to come.
He whispers gently, as if trying not to scare you off, “You just can’t be walking around like this and expect not to be fucked, baby,”
The sound of his soft, gentle voice is like a key to your soul. You reply just as gently, “I know, Sannie, ‘m sorry…”
He drags his cock over your folds, surprising you. You can’t see what he’s doing, so every time he touches you it’s a complete shock to your senses. He seems to enjoy your little shivers and nervous shakes. He likes to see how vulnerable you are, how he’s in complete control of you and everything that’s happening to you. San keeps dragging himself between you, collecting your juices on himself.
He seems to drown in this feeling, swallowing every quiet whine you give and using it to fuel his domineering air, “Really, you did this on purpose-shit-just to get me to fuck your brains out. Why didn’t you just ask, dolly?”
“It wasn’t on purpose…”
“So cute. Your little, wet pussy is dripping, baby. You like this, don’t you? You like it when I force you to get fucked?”
San doesn’t even give you the chance to respond before sliding his cock inside of you. He shushes you when you complain, holding your arms back and still so you don’t hurt yourself. Although he likes watching your little shakes of defiance, how adorably useless you are against him. He soothes you through the stretch of him, groaning alongside your whines as he feels you suck him in.
He bottoms out, whining as you clench around his length, “No, no, dolly, quit that. I’ll cum in your tiny pussy, we don’t want that, do we?”
You aggressively shake your head as San starts to fuck you, all caution thrown to the wind with his harsh thrusts. You’re embarrassed by your loud squelching, but you hardly have time to think about that with San’s length hitting practically every inch of your insides. His moans are adorably whiny, breathy as the barely-there restraint leaves his body and he fucks you with even more vigor. He’s spurred on by the feeling of your tiny body against his, your pathetic attempts of freeing yourself only adding to his pleasure.
“Hah-you’re so tight, sweetheart. I really can’t help myself, might have to claim you forever,”
“S-sannie, no, I said no-“
He’s rabid in his taking of you, holding your wrists tight as he grows closer to the edge, “Oh, god, you’re so cute, this tiny, little pussy’s gonna be mine forever-“
“San!”
San holds your hips tight, fingernails digging into your skin and moaning sweetly as he pulls you into him, his cum flowing freely inside you. He pulls so hard in the haze of his orgasm that your entire body falls back with the force and onto him.
He’s still in the throes of his orgasm, yelping as you fall onto him and he lands on the floor. It’s cold against his ass cheeks, and he’s blushing hard once the post-nut realization hits that he came so hard he managed to pop you out. San decides this is probably on his list of worst orgasms.
Your face is flushed as you turn to him, “That’s what you get for cumming inside.”
He has the decency to look sheepish, “Sorry…”

Hey odd request but I have a lot of tummy issues could you write Loki comforting reader with tummy cramps.
Tummy Troubles
Pairing: Loki x female reader (Y/N)
Summary: Loki discovers you curled up in your bed trying to deal with your stomach issues and offers to help you feel better.
Warnings: 🤷♀️ stomach issues, mention of throwing up previously, feeling ill but not specific illness mentioned... there will be fluff!
A/N: I'm really really sorry this took so long! I've been having a rough time finding inspiration but last night, while I was curled up in a ball trying not to die from my own stomach issues, I came up with the idea for this fic in an effort to distract myself. Thank you for sending this request! I hope you like it! 💚
Your phone buzzes on your nightstand for the second time and you groan, gripping the sheet around you tighter as your stomach cramps and your body shivers. After what feels like forever, the pain subsidies but you still can't force your body to move so you can reach your phone.
You've been laying curled up in a near fetal position for at least the last hour, even since you dragged yourself back to bed after loosing the battle to keep from throwing up your lunch. Even the slightest movement brings a wave of nausea so you've decided your best bet is to stay perfectly still until you finally fall asleep which will hopefully be soon but you doubt it. You're utterly exhausted but as far from sleep as possible. This is not a new feeling unfortunately, once every other month or so your stomach decides to revolt against you for seemingly no reason.
Closing your eyes tightly, you feel chills run up your spine as your stomach cramps. Your muscles slowly relax and just as you take a deep breath to steady yourself, your phone buzzes for a third time.
You don't need to check it to know who keeps calling, it's Loki. He was due back from his mission roughly half an hour ago and somewhere in the last six months, it became a habit of his to call you to let you know he landed. You thought it was sweet and normally you couldn't wait to hear his voice again but there was no way you would let your ridiculously attractive best friend see you sweaty, nauseous and curled up in pain.
The doors open for the elevator and Loki steps inside, his phone pressed to his ear as he listens to it ring over and over. When he hears your voice mail pick up, he sighs and ends the call without leaving a message.
Putting his phone back into his pocket, Loki walks into the kitchen in the common area in an effort to locate you. Instead, he finds Wanda and Natasha making tea and discussing their plans for the evening.
"Have either of you seen Y/N recently?" Loki asks, trying to keep from sounding overly concerned.
"She didn't come to our last two meetings," Natasha answers. "She's sick, some stomach thing I think."
"Thanks, I'll go check on her," Loki says then he leaves the kitchen, walking down the hall to your apartment.
He knocks, waiting a moment but when you don't answer he lets himself in like he has dozens of times before. He sighs when you're not on the couch like he had hoped you would be. He looks around your dark apartment and realizes that means you're in your bedroom. He walks towards the closed door and pauses.
The door is always closed when he's come over and he often found himself wondering what your bedroom was like or more specifically what your bed was like. What color sheets did you have? Was your mattress soft or firm? Did you sleep on the left side or the right side? What he wondered most often though, was what it would be like to fall asleep with his arms around you. He'd never ask you any of those questions of course but now he was about to find out the answer to most of them.
Loki knocks on your bedroom door, putting his ear to the dark wood and hears a soft groan in response.
Your bedroom door opens slowly and you pull the thin sheet tighter around yourself. Despite your back facing the door, you can immediately tell by the sound of his leather boots that it's Loki.
"Are you okay, love?" Loki asks. "Natasha said you were sick."
"Go away," you mumble, squeezing your eyes closed as your stomach cramps. You feel the bed dip lightly as he sits on the edge and you groan. "Don't move the bed," you force the words out, afraid speaking will trigger your nausea as it often does.
Loki gets up quickly and apologizes, "Sorry."
You can feel him watching you but you can't move to face him. Part of you wants him to leave, close the door on his way out and act like he never saw you here. The other part of you desperately wants him to hold you until you fall asleep.
"Let me help you," he says finally.
"I'm fine Loki, you can go," you say through gritted teeth and the instant you hear your voice you know the God of Lies isn't going to believe that.
"Y/N," he says softly as he sits gently on the bed again, careful not to move it as much as before. "I can make you feel better if you're sick."
"How?" you ask then cringe in pain as your stomach cramps tightly, a second later you feel something unexpected. Loki's chest presses lightly against your back as he lays on your bed next to you.
"I can use my magic to heal you. I've used it to heal wounds and illnesses before," Loki explains as his arm wraps around you, his hand settling on your stomach gently. "Just relax love, this will only take a moment."
You nod but you're body remains stiff, you've spent almost every night for the last three or four months wishing you could lie in bed with Loki but this is not how you wanted it to happen. Your attention is drawn to Loki's fingers as they begin to glow green, his seider spreading slowly over your body.
Almost instantly, your stomach settles as the cramps release and the nausea subsides completely. You find yourself inching closer to Loki as the chills fade and the only things you feel are tired and comfortable. Your hand covers Loki's, his seider fading once the spell has finished healing you.
You nod and smile, "So much better. Thanks Loki."
"Better?" he asks quietly, his lips a few inches from your ear. 'Black cotton sheets, firm mattress, left side of the bed,' Loki thinks, answering the questions he had about your bed, a smile spreads across his lips as his fingers intertwine with yours. The only thing left for him to do was try to hold you for as long as possible since he wasn't sure when our if he'd get to do it again.
Your eyes flutter open. "No," you reply quietly, still holding his hand to keep his arm around your body. "Please stay."
"Of course, love," he answers.
You yawn, closing your eyes for a moment. You've cuddled with previous boyfriends but Loki was so much more comfortable than you had imagined he could be.
"I'll leave so you can rest," Loki suggests even though it's the last thing he wants to do.
He shifts as close to you as he can, thrilled by your request, "Okay love."
You yawn again, struggling to keep your eyes open and in your exhausted state you find yourself asking Loki something you've wanted to know for months. "Why do you keep calling me love? You never call anyone else that."
Loki places a soft kiss to your neck, just below your ear and whispers so quietly you barely hear him, "Because I love you."
You smile as your eyes close and just as you slip off to sleep you whisper back, "I love you too."
I hope you liked this!! Please like, share and comment if you did 💚💚 Please let me know if you want to be added to my taglist!

THE COMMISSION PT. 2 | SEVIKA X READER | ARCANE
You can find part one here.
Synopsis: You've been her personal mechanic for two years, but your growing reputation in the field has earned you dozens of clients and commissions. Sevika was looking for something fresh, durable and of good quality, and when it came to her sexual appetite, she only accepted the best. So she turned to you for a special commission.
Contains: arcane!sevika, feminine reader, lesbians, lots of dialogues, arcane universe, cannon sevika, mechanic!reader, wlw, slow burn baby 💋, several parts btw
Word count: 2,330
Note: English is not my first language, so I apologize in advance for any mistake in my writing. Enjoy!
Sevika trusted your good work but your integrity mattered to her as well. The intimidating facade, her bearing and her gaze made her look lethal, but the truth was that Sevika protected the people she cared about and was extremely loyal. After years working for Silco and cleaning up Jinx's messes, Sevika had developed a special fondness for you and your good humor, as well as your eyes and your easy smile. She wanted to protect you for this commission as well.
A couple of days after the meeting, you were outside The Last Drop, waiting for Sevika while smoking a cigarette. "What did I get myself into." you whispered, exhaling before stepping on the butt with your heel, watching the woman approach from the distance. Next to her was one of her lackeys and another man you didn't know, a tall, dark-haired man with slanted eyes, veiny hands and good-looking, presumably a worker at the House of Pleasure. The candidate.
She gestured for the man next to her to approach and spoke up. "I want you to meet my friend, Silas." Sevika said, her voice a little gruff. "He's here to... provide for your mold-taking."
Gosh, this so embarrassing you thought, giving Silas a nod. "Nice to meet you, I assume Sevika explained you the uh... reason you're here."
Silas nodded, still smirking. "She did." He replied, his eyes roaming over you. "And it's a pleasure, lovely."
"Huh, sure." you mumbled, as Sevika made her way into the Last Drop, towards her personal room. The place was set up. Sevika took care of your requests and had a powerful spotlight installed in the center of the room, next to a backless chair and a work table, where the materials to make the mold were spread out and ready to be used. Sevika sat on the couch, lighting a cigarette while Silas undressed from the waist down. You focused on preparing the mixture, ignoring the blush on your cheeks at the rather peculiar and embarrassing situation you found yourself in.
"Robin asked about you." Silas said to Sevika. "You haven't visited her in a while..."
"Yeah, I've been busy." She replied gruffly. "With... business and such."
"You sure you haven't found another girl?" asked Silas. "It's quite odd to not see you around the brothel."
"I've been..." She paused, her gaze shifting briefly between you and the supplies on the table. "...busy. I don't have time for that right now." The truth was that, recently, her visits to the brothels of Zaun had decreased. The reason was sitting not ten feet away from her.
You gulped. "Please stand in front of the spotlight, legs apart." you said somewhat shyly, to which Silas complied with a rather pleasant and welcomed confidence. He certainly wasn't embarrassed, but you were. "Oh, I'm sorry to be so blunt but... you must be..."
"Hard?" Silas asked, to which you nodded.
Sevika chuckled, watching the interaction. She was amused by your attempts to be professional, trying your best to handle this with grace despite your embarrassment. "Don't apologize." He said, a hint of amusement in his voice. "It's a reasonable request."
You looked at Sevika with pink cheeks, before she turned to Silas in a non-serious tone. "Do you need magazines or something for the imagination, Silas?" she asked.
Silas chuckled, his eyes moving between Sevika and you. "No, I think I'll be alright." he said "But I wouldn't mind a little assistance..." He added, his eyes slowly roving over you, a smirk on his face.
Sevika's gaze was firm as she looked up at Silas, her voice cold. "Hands off, or I'll cut them off."
Sevika handed him the pills and a bottle of water. It only took a couple of minutes for Silas to be rock hard after taking them. Not that you found him appealing, but the man’s sexual aura stirred something inside you. However, you were here to work and Sevika would certainly disapprove of anyone putting their hands on you or you putting your hands on someone else. Sevika watched the whole process, focusing on the gentleness of your hands, the way you immersed the candidate's phallus in a container with the hypoallergenic plaster and the shy smile that were drawn on your lips while you took the time for it to harden. She thought about the privilege Silas was receiving, to have your complete and undivided attention on his body and to be touched by such angelic hands. Sevika grunted, pouring herself a whiskey.
"And... done." you said after the time passed. You removed the now hardened mold, satisfied with the result. You carefully placed it on the table, while Silas got dressed.
"I know I have a good cock, but I never thought I was worthy of being turned into a mold," the man joked.
Sevika chuckled, taking another puff of her cigarette. "Don't flatter yourself, sweetcheeks. We just needed someone qualified."
"Whatever you say, boss." He replied, his gaze shifting to you. "How long will it take for the final product?"
"Four to six days," you replied. "The material I'll be using is quite sensitive and capricious, plus incorporating the Shimmer system will take a couple of failed experiments," you explained, to which Silas laughed.
"Shimmer?" he asked, looking at Sevika. "You're planning on making a fucking Shimmer strap?"
Sevika leaned back, her expression cool. "Problem?"
"No, no problem. I'm just... curious. You never fail to surprise me, you know that?"
Silas gave her hand a squeeze. "I'm leaving now. Good luck with your little toy," Silas said, giving you a warm smile. You were focused on the mold when you and Sevika ended up alone in the room.
"You handled that well." She commented, her voice low and gruff.
"You think so?"
"Yeah, I do." She replied, exhaling a plume of smoke. "You managed to keep your focus and didn't let that hothead get to you."
“I know my job and what it’s worth,” you assured as you poured the second mixture into the cast to make the mold you’d be working with later. You were tired, however, this time of year people usually got their prosthetics renewed and everyone turned to you to do it. You’ve been using Shimmer again to keep the workflow going and it was starting to show.
Her sharp eye was trained to pick up on even the smallest details, and it was clear that you were exhausted. "When was the last time you slept a full night?
"Does it matter?" you inquired, focused on your work
"Of course it matters." She replied, her voice firm. "If you're exhausted, it will affect your work. I need you to be sharp, to be able to keep up."
"When's the last time you slept, really?"
"Mhm... two days ago?" you said, not sure. The truth is that Shimmer affected your perception of time and hunger, it was as effective as cocaine but more accessible, since it was Sevika who provided you with doses at a good price. However, she was regretting having done it, seeing you in this state.
"Are you kidding me? How many boosters have you taken in that time?"
"Don't remember." you shrugged. "I'm overflowed."
Sevika's jaw tensed as she watched your tired, sluggish state. The realization of what you'd been doing to yourself hit her like a ton of bricks. She put the cigarette away, standing up. "You're not going home. You're staying here." She said firmly, her voice leaving no room for argument. "I won't have you passing out from exhaustion."
"Excuse me?"
Her voice took on a softer tone, but her eyes held a hint of command. "I won't negotiate on this. It's for your own good."
"I have more comissions waiting for me at my workshop." you insisted. "And I can't afford to deliver them late."
She leaned forward, her voice dropping lower. "Those orders can wait. Your health cannot. I won't take no for an answer on this, understand?"
“How bold of you,” you scoff. “You’re asking me to rest when you’ve asked me for one of the strangest and most complex commissions this month.”
"And you took the commission, didn't you?" She retorted, her voice cold. "You agreed to it willingly. Don't act like I forced it upon you."
Before you could protest, Sevika's metal hand covered yours and she lowered herself to your level to say, leaving no room for argument: "You will quit work for today, I will get you dinner and you will go to sleep. Do you hear?"
You'd never seen Sevika this protective, this... bossy before. And honestly? It was kind of attractive. Her dominant aura was on full display, and the way she left no room for argument was both intimidating and thrilling.
"I hear," you managed to reply, your voice a breathless whisper.
Twenty minutes later, you popped a piece of turkey into your mouth, Sevika had brought you dinner and a glass of lemonade to go with your meal, as she watched you eat, she poured herself a cup of tea. She had had enough to drink for the day. By the second or third bite, you sensed the sudden comedown and felt nauseous. The shimmer was wearing off and Sevika was quick enough to kick the wastebasket towards you so you could throw up in it.
She moved quickly, resting a hand on your back as you wretched, attempting to provide some form of comfort. "Easy," she said quietly, rubbing slow, soothing circles on your back. "Just get it out."
The Shimmer comedown wasn't pleasant, it felt like all your energy was suddenly drained and replaced by an overwhelming feeling of malaise and despair. Your body was begging for more, and it was precisely that feeling that pushed people to buy more doses until they were in misery, but Sevika wouldn't allow it. Not when it comes to you. "It'll pass," she murmured quietly, her voice a soothing murmur. "Just breathe. It'll pass."
"Another one won't kill me..." you slurred with your head buried into the basket.
"That's where you're wrong," she replied, her voice firm. "It won't stop at just one. It never does. Especially not when you're already in this state."
Sevika straightened you up, handing you a bottle to rinse your mouth out. She then slid the plate over to you. "Eat."
"I don't..."
"I know you don't feel like it." She admitted, her voice softer now, "but you need to eat something. You haven't been taking proper care of yourself, and it shows."
You forced yourself to eat and drink the lemonade. Soon enough you were lying on the soft sofa in the room. Its walls were dark and seemed stained by the passing of time and cigarette smoke, it was lit by lamps in red and mustard tones. In the distance was the betting table, next to you the minibar and in front of you, sitting on a chair, Sevika was watching you. The withdrawal effect had already worn off, now you were just very sleepy.
"Are you feeling any better?"
"I'm... I wanna sleep." you slurred.
She took another puff of her cigarette, tapping the ash into the ashtray beside her. "Close your eyes. Sleep."
You clossed your eyes, the smell of the cigarette entering your nostrils. "You shouldn't smoke that much." you mumbled.
"Oh, really?" She replied, a hint of playful sarcasm in her voice. "And who's gonna stop me?" She took another long puff of her cigarette, the smoke wafting towards you, the scent musky and alluring. "You, perhaps?"
"I don't have any power over you." you admitted.
"No, you don't." She agreed, her expression softening slightly. "But," she mused quietly, her voice barely above a whisper, "sometimes, I wish you did."
You didn't know what to make of that, but you understood that Sevika wasn't joking. You felt a hand on your forehead, Sevika checking if you were feverish or cold, and luckily for you, you were fine. You shifted on the couch, before your curiosity got the better of you. "Silas said you've barely been to the brothel lately..."
"Are you concerned for my wellbeing?" She asked, her voice laced with a hint of sarcasm. "Or are you simply curious?"
"You're a woman of habits and you're missing that one."
"Yes, I suppose I am a woman of habits." She leaned back in her chair, her eyes still fixed on you. "And that one habit in particular... I've been avoiding it."
"Why?"
"It's... not as satisfying as it once was." She replied, her voice quiet, almost lost. "The same faces, the same encounters, the same routines. It's all... so hollow, now. Empty. Meaningless."
Suddenly you felt that the commission you're working on was meaningless. "Then why the hell am I fabricating a strap for you?" you asked with sleepy amusement.
"What do you mean 'why'?" She retorted, her tone sharp. "Because I asked you to, that's why."
"But you're saying you don't like to attend the brothel anymore." you inisisted. "Who will you use it with then?"
"I'll use it with whoever I damn well please," she continued, her tone growing sharper, "and it's none of your business who that is."
You noticed her tone change, she was closing up and it was best not to probe further. Not with Sevika. You simply nodded, closing your eyes against the potent spell of Shimmer's downturn and the days and days of work taking its toll on your body.
You felt her scent close by, a warm hand on your forehead and then tracing circles on your hair. You thought you were dreaming, or it was just the Shimmer messing with your mind, but you felt like you were in some kind of enchantment with those fingers massaging your scalp and the weight of her body next to you on the couch. "Get some sleep," she said quietly, her voice gentle. "I'll be here when you wake up."
To be continued...

Imagine You and The Winter Soldier are fleeing, running for your lives in the wet and cold night. The gravelled roads covered in a blizzard of thick snow. Your body is soaked from rain, blood, dirt, and god knows what else.
Soldat never said a word as he tracked closely in front of you, creating a path with his long, thick legs, letting you walk without much effort, unlike him who is starting to feel the burn of his muscles and the sting in his lungs. But he would never tell you, he would rather break all his bones in his body than risk any discomfort to you. Not ever again.
Soldat pushed open the heavy door with his metal shoulder, the cracking sound of snapping wood echoed in the vast silence of the lonely woods that hid more than fifty-ish gaurds from the hydra base they had just broken out from. You stumbled in behind him, your breath creating little clouds as you sighed deeply as you almost tripped into Soladts' large back.
Your thin clothes that Hydra forced you to wear while you were stuck in your cell and soldats tactical gear was soaked, stained, clinging to his skin. It was like a reminder of the struggle he went through to get you out. He had taken the brunt of the most brutal confrontations, but the scars of your escape marked both of you—physically and mentally.
As the door slammed shut with a heavy thud, a cold shiver coursed through you, making you very aware of the biting chill that seeped into your bones, rattling your body with a familiar emotion... Fear. Soldat noticed your discomfort. His steel, almost grey eyes, were shadowed with concern. “There is no power. Too risky,” he muttered, his voice low and husky. “But we need to get warm.”
Without another word, grunt, or whimper, Soldat moved like lightning towards various cupboards, tossing through cobwebs, dust, and strange bugs before finally finding an old stack of firewood. Well, most like cheap chip wood, but it'll burn enough to get you warm.
You watched him as he arranged all the wood in the fireplace, not even seemingly taking a breath until it was complete. The flicker of warmth that the flame produced would simmer you down only momentarily before another shiver ran down your body as the wet melting snow pooled against your skin from the soaked fabric.
"Here,” he called, gesturing to try beside the fire, his voice steady despite the storm outside. Yet you somehow knew that he was panicked deep inside. Worried about yours and his safety. Morely yours, but you try not to think about that. “Get closer to the fire.”
You obliged without a word, positioning yourself on your knees before the flames, but quickly realized that the heat was barely wrapping around you. The cold still seeped into your chest, gnawing at your skin. Soldat threw more wood in, but time was not a luxury you had, it seemed. No, as your eyes grew heavy and your shallow breath slowed, Soldat needed to find a solution quick before you surely died from hypothermia. He grunted through his nose as he watched you for a moment more before speaking...
“Strip,” he said, gravelled and bluntly. It made you freeze, cheeks flushing as your slowed heart began to race.
What? Is he serious? You blinked at him in shock as uneasy laughter bubbled up, tinged with embarrassment. He can't actually be serious... Right?
“Soldat, I—” you started, but then he cut you off by speeding down the hall before you could process his request. You sat there stunned and trembling. Confusion warred with the urgency of your situation, the biting cold gripped you tighter, but now a heat pooled inside you, one you always managed to keep hidden until now.
With a deep, shaky breath, you hastily stripped off your damp clothes. The chill of the room made every inch of exposed skin tighten, and you quickly slipped into your underwear. Just as you pulled the last layer away, Soldat re-entered the room, his arms holding a bunch of blankets and pillows. He dropped them carelessly on the floor, but carefully not to get any in the fire or on the wet pile of clothes you created. He began to arrange them with determination, making a makeshift bed. Almost like a nest or cocoon.
"You have to get warm." He states, letting you see the determination in his wild eyes. You hugged your arms around yourself tightly, still feeling in the heat of embarrassment, being almost bare in front of the only person in your life who ever showed care for you.
“The underwear isn’t helping,” he stated flatly, as if the gravity of the situation was the only thing at play, almost completely ignoring the circular emotions churning in the space between you and him. The tension that has been brewing since the first day your cells were side by side. Since the first time you used your abilities to sneak into his cell and hold him, let him know he wasn't alone while using your powers to soothe his torturous mind.
Your heart raced as you met his gaze. “Can you... uh c-can you close your eyes, please?”
He chuckled softly, a lightness breaking through the tension. “Alright,” he said, feigning nonchalance as he covered his eyes with his metal hand, though a ghost of a smile lingered on his lips. Something was almost foreign about a smile on the Soldats, but he had grown to have one when only you were around.
With shaking fingers, you slipped your last barrier away, letting the wet bra and panties all alongside the other wet fabric before you dived for the blankets, mortified and relieved at once, your heart hammering wildly. “Okay...I’m done,” you called, hoping to mask your vulnerability and embarrassment with the soft cupboard smelling duvet
He opened his eyes, pulling his hand away. The warmth of the fire reflected off you, a hint of satisfaction finally grazed in his expression. You shifted slightly, the blankets cocooning you with newfound warmth, but the icy sensation still danced inside your chest. You shivered again
Soldat could hear the way your body was still craving heat and as he swore under his breath as the silence stretched thick with the unspoken tension. He knew he needed to do something. So he started to strip himself of his own wet clothes, revealing the chiselled muscles and scars that told stories of his torment...of battles fought and lost. He reached for his belt, and it made you suddenly speak up with an eep in your voice.
“W-what are you doing?” You blurted out, the absurdity of the situation slamming into you like a train as he slipped off his pants, boots, and underwear until he was completely bare in front of you. You didn't mean to cast your gazs lower, but before you could even get a good look at him, he was under the blankets beside you. Skin suddenly against skin.
“I need to keep you alive,” he replied with a gruffness that softened under the weight of his intentions. He pulled you close, lifting the blanket over both of you to create more warmth.
Your body instinctively moulded against his, seeking the refuge of his body heat even though your mind was racing at the idea of being this close to the soldie while completely naked.. As his heartbeat thrummed beneath your ear, you inhaled his scent without thought—an intoxicating mix of woodsmoke and something uniquely him. It made your heart ache and twist with butterflies. And as the storm outside raged on, you felt a surreal sense of safety wrapped in his strong embrace.
You buried your cold nose into his chest, feeling the fear, the stress, all of it melt away with every passing second. “You’ll be okay,” he murmured, fingers gently brushing through your hair as if he was soothing both of you to rest.
In that moment, there was a clarity of peace that felt sacred. It was something neither of you had felt in years, decades... It was as if the world had fallen away, problems and fears non-existent by the closeness you shared with him. A refuge built on trust forged in darkness and chaos.
Even though none of you predicted this moment, the sleepiness began to claim you both, weight of conflict fading like melting snow.
Soldat's warmth surrounded you, lulling you into a quiet dreamland. And that night, amidst the storm, with the fire crackling softly, Soldat mended the fractures within both of you if only just for a moment. And that night was the first night Soldat slept without the fear of the demons to raid his mind. No, the only thought he could think of was that he had you safe and away from the sinister grasps of hyrda. You were both finally free.

“Cracks In Our Hearts.”
pairing ❤︎: gender neutral reader x sunghoon. w.c ❤︎: 4.5 - 5k (it’s word vomit at its finest) synopsis ❤︎: you’re a player in squid game, and thanks to a certain square guard, you’ve managed to survive (and get fucked).
this fic includes ❤︎: smut so mdni, death(s?), blood, sunghoon is a guard and is hot with a mask and pistol, he’s also cold(i think that’s the word), reader just trying to survive, ends up dying tho lol, bathroom sex, choking, pain and gun kink, degradation, sunghoon is actually a jerk beneath the mask, so is reader, unprotected sex, readers skin colour nor private parts are mentioned and etc.
warnings ❤︎: english isn’t my first language, not really proofread so srry about that, and i’m nervous af cus this is my first time writing T-T, this is based off of s1 so spoilers ahead (for those who haven’t watched both seasons”.
…..I shouldn't have survived the first game.
The thought clings to me like a stain as I sit cross-legged on the cold gray floor of the dormitory. Around me, everyone's faces wear that same haunted look-eyes sunken, shoulders hunched-but it does nothing to erase this truth: I'm still here, and a hundred others aren't.
My hands shake as I clutch the bottle of water they gave us, the only comfort in this nightmare. “Red Light, Green Light” was supposed to be simple. A childish game, nothing more. But then, when the first shot went off, the simplicity was in pieces. I kept my head down, my steps calculated. An act of luck rather than any skill saved me. Halfway, my legs had locked, but the chaos around saved me. I was too scared even to breathe, let alone blink while that giant, doll-like machine scanned the field. The screams. The silence. They cling to me as much as the relief of being alive.
But that leaves me with just one question: how long will I last?
Dalgona Game
As the guards herd us into the grounds, that feeling of luck is not there.
The sun knocks heavily upon the earthy ground, and a whispering wave curls through the players. In front of us stood a table piled high with tins, each containing the next nightmare: “Dalgona candy.” The guard with the square mask appears to be in charge; he steps forward. His voice rumbles from behind his mask. "You will each choose a tin. Inside is a shape. Your task is to extract the shape from the candy without breaking it. You will have ten minutes."
That's it? A shape?
But then I look at the examples on the display-circle, triangle, star…and an umbrella. My stomach does a flip. Not just precision, but luck too. A wrongly picked tin means my death. The queue moved fast; shaking hands reached for tins, people picking as if their lives depended on it. Because they do.
When it's my turn, I force myself to breathe and reach for the one closest to me. The metal feels cool and heavy in my hands. I don't even open it right away, afraid to see what fate I've chosen. Finally, I lift the lid.
The umbrella stares back at me.
"Great," I mutter under my breath. I look around, and there are a few groaning in despair as they unveil their shapes. Most got stars or circles—luckies. The timer starts, and the courtyard almost becomes a battlefield of concentration. People start licking their candies, tapping needles at them, and quite a few try to bite them. I take the given needle and gently press it against the candy. The sound of cracking candy nearby makes my heart run. I start shaking and tracing the thin, delicate lines of the umbrella. "Steady," I say to myself. Halfway through, it happened.
Snap.
The handle of the umbrella broke off clean. My blood ran cold.
It was over.
Instantly, my head jerks up to find the nearest guard. They are already converging on other players who busted their candies. I heard shots ring out and immediately froze. That is when I see him.
One of the square-guards, taller than the others, stops a few feet away. I cannot see his face, yet there is something different in the way he looks at me. His head tilts slightly, studying me, and for that one fleeting instant, the noise falls away. Then he takes another step closer.
"No," I whisper. Shivering, my heartbeat surges as I hold the shattered candy tightly against my body, to hide it from view. But instead of brandishing his weapon, he leans in and whispers, "Pretend you're still working." I stare up at him, appalled. "Do it," he says sharply in a low voice, and I automatically comply. I push the broken pieces together, my hands shaking so severely it's a wonder they don't break into a hundred more pieces. The guard-he-stands close enough that I can sense his presence. He occasionally looks around, subtly blocking the other guards' view of me. “Why?" I dare to whisper. He says nothing.
Minutes tick by-although by some miracle, no one notices my snapped candy. When the buzzer goes off, I hold my breath for the worst to happen. Instead, the square-guard advances, feigning that he's inspecting the other players. Somehow, I get away.
The dormitory is noisier tonight. Some are cheering, others crying, but I do not think of anything besides him. Why did he save me? Was this some sort of mistake? A test? My head runs with the different connotations, but no sensible fact makes sense. Guards are not supposed to show mercy.
When the lights dim for night, I am awake. I play that moment in my head over and over-the quiet authority in his voice, the way he lingered just long enough to save me. There's just no getting answers, yet I couldn't help my mind from running over and over with thoughts of him.
Sunghoon’s POV
This was reckless.
I lean against the wall of the guard quarters, helmet in my hands, and let my breath out slowly. My heart hasn't stopped racing since I saw them-their trembling hands, the way they froze when their candy broke. I should've ignored it. I should've done my job. But something about the way their eyes widened, filled with fear and determination, stopped me. I don't know why I helped them. It wasn't out of pity. It wasn't out of guilt.
It was them.
I have seen hundreds of players, most of them desperate enough or selfish enough to catch nothing but their own survival. But they're different. I shouldn't be feeling this way. Guards aren't supposed to feel anything. Yet every time I think about their face, my resolve cracks just that little bit more.
If anyone finds out, I'm as good as dead.
But somehow, I just can't seem to care. Tomorrow's another game, another chance to see them. I just hope I can keep my distance.
For both our sakes.
The Next Day
I wake up to this gnawing feeling in my chest. It isn't the ache in my limbs or the exhaustion of staying up all night, reliving the events of the Dalgona game in my head; it's the dread of what comes next.
Another game, another chance to die.
They walk us to the next arena as effectively, coldly, with all the same efficiency of people used to doing a day's labor. My head was down, letting myself just become part of a whole, not standing out too much. The cold-faced, geometric-mask-covered guard statues line the wall opposite. My eyes fly toward each square mask.
Grievously stupid. Insane even-but what did it matter? Had he watched me just then? Was he going to try to save me?
A small part of me wants him to, but the larger part is reminding me of one crucial thing: here, I am on my own. Completely and utterly. Not even him.
Sunghoon’s POV
There they are.
Perched atop the arena above, my eyes find them in a heartbeat. They scan the guards again, their shoulders tense, eyes keen despite the exhaustion clinging to every player out there. I shouldn't watch them. Shouldn't give a damn.
Yet I can't peel my eyes away, though. Still alive, that's what matters.
My grip tightens on the rifle in my hands as the Robotic Female’s voice booms across the arena, announcing the rules for today’s game. I already know what’s coming. Another trial, another bloody mess.
And I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure they survive. Even if it means breaking every rule I’ve sworn to follow.
The Tug-of-War Twist
We are brought to a very large outdoors arena, with several platforms towering up to the sky. Ropes traverse atop thick, and beneath these? A fall so long I could hardly see the bottom.
Tug-of-war.
The explanation is simple: teams of ten; whoever wins lives. Losers. well, the fall does the talking. I'm pushed towards a group, and panic bursts in my chest as I realize the dynamics are uneven. None of them appear to be very strong. A few even shake so hard that I don't think they can hold the rope.
This is bad.
The guards line the edges, rifles in place to take out anyone showing even a millisecond of hesitation. My eyes flicker to them out of instinct, and there he is-square guard. His posture is stiff, but his helmet angles toward me as I step on the platform. Is he looking at me?
The thought's cut off by a buzz. And with that, the first match begins. I am horrified as the opposing team pulls with ruthless precision. Losing is being dragged, inch by inch, toward the edge. Their screams echo when the rope jerks once more, sending them plunging into the void.
This isn't just about strength. It's strategy.
When it's our turn, I reach for the rope, my palms already slick with sweat. My team looks hopeless, all whispering prayers and clutching at whatever scraps of courage they can muster. The opposing team, however, is all muscle.
"Pull!" someone yells as the buzzer sounds, and I dig my heels into the platform. The rope's abraded heat against my palms sears the skin as we're yanked forward. Arms scream, legs wobble-it feels like we are seconds away from catastrophe. "Lean back! Use your weight!" someone yells, but it's futile. We're losing so much ground. That's when I saw him.
The square-guard stood near the edge, his head cocked as he watched me. For what feels like an eternity he doesn't move, before finally he moves a step closer and leans on his rifle at his shoulder. I'm stuck until his hand moves after all, and it does really slowly.
It was the signal.
I watch transfixed as his gloved hand takes direction toward the other guys on the opposition side of this platform, then he tap-dances his foot quickly yet small - almost in a blur-close around anchor point holding their ropes steady. My eyes widen.
Is he telling me their side is rigged?
I have no time to think. I lean back with all my strength and yell to my team, "Pull to the left! They're off balance!" The others hesitate but follow my lead, shifting our weight. The opposing team stumbles, losing their footing, and in the chaos, I catch something flicker in the corner of my vision-a quick, subtle motion from his side.
The anchor point snaps.
The opposing team barely has time to act before they're pulled forward, screaming as they tumble into the abyss. We collapse onto the platform, gasping for air. Relief washes through me, tainted with disbelief.
I should be dead.
I glance toward him again but he's already gone, sucked back into the sea of guards. Tonight, I cannot get him out of my mind. The square-guard. The one who has saved me over and over again. No one else is paying any attention to anything but celebration or mourning as I slip into the shadows near the edge of the dormitory. The guards patrol the perimeter, their masks gleaming under the dim lights. And then I see him.
He leans against the wall, a little apart from the others. As I approach him, my heart pounds, and every step sounds louder than it should. "What are you doing?" I whisper. His head snaps toward me, and for a second, I think I have made a mistake. But then he steps forward, his voice low and sharp. "You shouldn't be here."
"Neither should you," I shoot back, emboldened by adrenaline. "You've been helping me. Why?” He hesitates, glancing around before tugging me further into the darkness. "You shouldn't ask questions you don't want answers to," he says. "I think I deserve an answer," I say, crossing my arms over my chest despite the tremble in my hands. "You've saved my life twice. Don't act like that's normal." For a moment, he says nothing. Then, with a sigh, he lifts his mask just enough for me to see his face.
He's younger than I expected. Sharp jawline, intense eyes that seem to pierce right through me. "You stood out," he admits, his voice softer now. "Most people here…they're just trying to survive. But you-" He catches himself, as if he's said too much. "But what?" I press.
“You fight," he says so simply. "Even when you're scared. Even when you shouldn't." The words dangle in the air, between us like a challenge. Heavy, electric. "I don't know why I do these things," he continues more irritably. "But if you wanna stay alive, don't trust me. Don't trust no one." His words shouldn't assure me, and yet suddenly, for the first time since I have been here, I do feel one thing: hope.
"Thanks," I say under my breath. He doesn't answer, but pulls his mask back down and steps away, leaving me in the shadows.
I trudge up the stairs, the fluorescent lights above me flickering with every labored step my legs take. It was mountainous, but I had survived another game, another step closer to whatever hellish end this place had in store. The other players say nothing. Their faces are hollow, their skin pale. No one dares speak anymore. Silence is safer.
I stop on the last step as a guard blocks my path. Square mask. My heart catches. "What's this?" I say, sharper than I mean to. Exhaustion has sucked any tolerance from me. "You're flagged," he says bluntly. "There's suspicion you might be carrying something you shouldn't be. You'll have to be searched." My blood turns cold. Suspicion? Prohibited? “That's crazy," I say, my panic rising into my chest. "I don't have anything-"
"Follow me." There's no request about it. The other players glance my way, their eyes wide and wary, but they don't get involved. They're too frightened to risk drawing attention to themselves. I hesitate, my mind racing. If this is a setup, if they think I've broken a rule, this could be it. This could be my end.
But I have no choice. Taking a deep breath, I follow the guard down a dimly lit corridor and into a bathroom. The sound of the door locking behind me makes me shiver. “Turn around," the guard instructs in a cold, emotionless voice. I do so, my heart racing. "Look," I begin, "I don't know what you think I've done, but-"
"Stop talking.” It cuts through my protest, and there's something about it-something familiar. I turn to face them, my brow furrowing. “What is this?" I ask. "Who are you?" For a moment, they don't respond. Then, with a slow, deliberate motion, the guard lifts their mask. My breath catches.
It's him.
The square-guard who's been helping me. The one I thought was gone, fired, or worse-killed for breaking the rules. "You-" I stutter, my voice barely above a whisper. "I had to see you," he says, his voice soft, yet urgent. "I couldn't stay away any longer." I blink, trying to process the rush of emotions-relief, confusion, anger. "I thought you were-what happened to you? Why did you stop-" "I had to lay low," he interrupts. "They were watching me. But I'm still here. I don't know what to say. My mind is racing, torn between gratitude and frustration. “Why did you bring me here?" I ask finally.
His eyes lock with mine, intense and unyielding. “Because I couldn't take it anymore," he says, his voice low, stepping closer. "Watching you risk your life, knowing I couldn't do anything to stop it-it's been driving me insane." I swallow hard, my heart racing as he closes the gap between us. "You shouldn't be doing this," I whisper. "If they find out—"
"I don't care," he says with finality. "I've already broken the rules for you. What's one more?" And before I can say another word, his hands frame my face, and he kisses me. It's not soft or tentative-it's desperate, raw, like he's pouring every ounce of fear and longing into the moment. I'm stuck in a freeze-frame moment for a second, mind whipping. Then I yield and cling to his uniform while kissing him back with every ounce of fierce intensity of my own. The world falls away, and I feel something other than fear for the first time since this nightmare kicked off.
But not for long.
He pulls away, forehead resting against mine, hard breaths mingling between our lips. "I can't protect you anymore," he says, his voice cracking. "Not with what's coming." I search his face, my chest tightening at the pain in his eyes. "You've already done more than enough," I whisper. He shakes his head. "It's not enough. It'll never be enough."
A heavy silence falls between us, and I know this is goodbye. Expect it wasn’t actually, his lips captured mine again, his lips….almost saying they wanted me, needed me. That is until he broke the kiss again, and pinned my back against the cold, colorful tiled wall of the bathroom. His body language seemed like he has longed for the dramatic (sort of) crash of holding me against the wall, kissing me like he was dreaming about this every single minute of the day.
He winced as my nails raked across his back through his pink suit, he probably felt like his outfit was being torn by my nails, which could get us both in trouble if that was actually to happen. He winced again as he took ahold of my wrists and slammed them to the wall in retaliation, wedging his knee between my thighs, which made a gasp leave my lips at the slightest bit of friction I was getting from his thigh.
“Didn’t know you were this desperate for me,” he teased after breaking the heated kiss for the nth time, leaving him and me breathless, panting with saliva connecting us. His low chuckle echoed through the empty, now suffocating bathroom, and making his vampire teeth pop out. “it’s laughable, really. Does the games make you horny?” he teased yet again, raising his thick eyebrows in a way that seemed mockingly, his thigh moving back and forth slightly, earning a whine from my lips as he chuckled like he was enjoying me being teased. “Does your life being on the line make you horny? You sadist bit-“ Pain blistered across Sunghoon’s cheek, he couldn’t help but grin as it sent shockwaves of sensation tearing across his body. Adrenaline hummed through his veins as he hungrily kissed me again, choking me with his gloved hands. I thrashed, ripping at the back of his head by a fistful of hair and biting down hard on his lower lip. Both of our lips were bleeding now, but the metallic tang only made him deepen the kiss even more, greedily trying to taste much of it as possible, masochist much?
“Fucking slut,” He hissed, licking blood and spit from my chin. “You’re a cunt and a dick, a motherfucking cunt and dick sucker.” I hissed back, he chuckled. He fucking chuckled this was all a fucking a circus show for him. “Damn right,” he teased. “But only good girls or boys get their cunts and dicks sucked by me, which isn’t you unfortunately.” he grinned, his hips rolling against my privates, yet again another chuckle slipped from his lips like he enjoyed watching me being frustrated sexually, and I could confirm it just by looking at his eyes that had a glint, a glint of giddiness everytime pain was inflicted upon me.
I hooked my foot behind his knee, forcibly collapsing it. First, he tries making me shit in my pants from coming out of nowhere and telling me that I had to be pat down, makeouts with me, choked me and almost knocked out all of the air in me, calls me names and now his hand is reaching up to my knee to bring me down with him…great. He smirked as he yanked me down onto him, flipping me onto my back and pinning me to the cold floor now instead. He gave just one slow, merciless grind of his hips against mine, and I’m only just realising but…he’s fucking big.
“Who said that…I want you to fucking suck me off or eat me out?” I bit out, nursing my injured lip to keep from moaning as he set out a torturously slow pace through our clothes. “It seems pretty eager to me,” Sunghoon teased, gloved fingertips dipping beneath the waistband of my pants. “I bet I could make you cum in- shit-!” His head smacked harder against the tiles than it should have as I tossed him onto his back, thighs clenched tightly around his hips. The throbbing pain only added to the throbbing pleasure as I rolled my hips. “Just who do you think fucking I am? Just- fuck- just because I’m trying to survive and win doesn’t mean I’m gonna be your fucking bitch.” Sunghoon grinned up at me, I was already flushed bright red and riding his hips with rough, desperate japs of my hips. “Big talk for someone who’s riding me like their life depends on it, ironically.” he snickers. “I can feel you, asshole. You’re in the same situation as I am!” Sunghoon smirked, and in one quick move, he snatched my wrist and rocketed back to his feet, spinning me back around and leaving me face-first against the wall. “You might not be able to kill people like me, and neither I could survive the games you’re playing but god…you’re right, I do want you.” I shuddered at his deep voice. I shifted, legs spreading to support myself better and Sunghoon slotted his knee right between them once more, hands settling on my waist as I got my one free hand between me and the wall, trying to push and give myself some space. I only succeeded in pushing our bodies closer than before, his cock nestled firmly against my ass.
“Let me have you,” Sunghoon purred, squeezing my waist and slowly moving up my sides the way that turned me into putty. I moaned, shuddering again. “Fuck you! If you want me so badly, then come and take it, take me!” well, that is an invitation that Sunghoon hasn’t heard before, even before doing this whole crazy guard thing at a unknown island. He growled, jerking my pants down in a hurry, like he actually couldn’t believe that his dreams are about to come true. I threw my elbow back, but Sunghoon just pinned my wrist back to the wall. “Stop being a fucking brat,” he hissed. I struggled and choking back a moan, feeling the material of his pink suit against my bare ass. “Get your shitty ass outfit outta the way,” I demanded. “Shit feels like sandpaper!” I hissed. “So sensitive and demanding,” he cooed, even as he let me have both hands back to brace myself against the wall. Sunghoon didn’t dare to move back and give me an opening to escape, only reaching up to unzip his suit and free himself, mostly his cock that was strained against the fabric and begging for friction as it twitched in his underwear. I adjusted, leaning away long enough for Sunghoon to free himself. “If you were me, you’d complain too!” I hissed. “Yeah, yeah, stop running your big mouth. You want it or not?” he rolled his eyes, his suit and underwear failing to his ankles as he leaned forward, completely trapping me between him and the cold wall, his bare cock resting just on my ass, just right where I needed him, so far yet so close. “I told you you fucking idiot, just take it-“ Sunghoon couldn’t help but thrust all of his cock in one go. Making me moan out loud at the blissful pain from the thrust.
For Sunghoon, you were a wet dream come true to life; Sunghoon’s cock glided through you without resistance, soft and slick, tightening only as he rutted against a known sweet spot along your walls. I moaned, arching my back, wrapping tightly around him. He groaned in response, leaning over me, his hands covering mine, fingers almost interlocked. The sweat on my neck left a layer of salt on Sunghoon’s tongue, but beneath it was nothing but you. Sunghoon muffled his own moans against my throat, sucking and biting his way down to my shoulders. I turned my head, covering my mouth with the inside of my elbow as he fucked me against the wall. Sunghoon hiked me up onto my tiptoes, leaning back to appreciate the view, your skin glistened with sweat under the fluorescent lights. “…Please, I’m close da- fuck-!” your words and moans rang loud in his ears, in the bathroom, the silence sharpening your cries. They acted as pokers to the hot coals of fire in the pit of Sunghoon’s stomach, making him embarrassed over how loud you were, neither was the wet and loud sound of skin smacking was making it any better. If any of his fellow guards were outside or just a tad bit close to the bathroom, he’s fucked and killed to death alongside with you.
That is when Sunghoon got an idea, an idea that satisfies his other personality, the one that was created whilst being here for a very long time that he has lost sense of time, and that is fear. He lives off of the idea of goosebumps appearing on the player’s skins just before he kills them, and in this case, while he’s fucking them and practically making them cock-drunk from his stroke game. Sunghoon leaned down and grabbed his long forgotten, abandoned pistol on the floor, aiming the barrel at your forehead, and with that his thrusts became harder, sloppier but you…you were terrified. Terrified on why there’s a gun to your head suddenly, is he going to kill you after using you like a worthless, lifeless sexdoll? Is that what’s going to happen? You couldn’t lie to yourself because the thought kinda turned you on and made you wetter even more, because you wouldn’t mind being his sexdoll if his cock was constantly inside you and making you go brainless. “Stop moaning like a whore unless you want me to pull the trigger right now, and kill you before they find us.” he threatened lowly in my ear, licking and bitting as he tried to muffle his own sounds. By now, you knew you looked pathetic with your eyes red, red and snotty nose as tears stained and wet your flushed cheeks as you began to bite onto your ragged and bloody jacket, trying to keep quiet because as much as it turned you on at the thought of dying on his dick, but you valued your life at the moment because, living longer equals bouncing on his dick for even more before you die.
Sunghoon barely managed to pull out on time, painting his pleasure all over your ass. He grinned at the realisation that you were still haven’t even came yet, still hanging on the edge as he lowered his pistol and patted his gloved hand on your ass, watching it jiggle with the motion of his hand, giggling to himself as he brought his head up and was met with the sight of you, eyebrows furrowed and eyes narrowed at him. “Get your own self off, brat.” he teased, putting on his suit back and mask, giving you one last cocky glance before he makes sure he looks presentable in the mirror and walks out on you, leaving you frustrated at him, at not being pleasured enough, at the games, and yourself because behind his handsome looks, he’s actually just like the other guards, ruthless and cold.
The Final Game
The days blur all together.
The games are getting more brutal, and the players, myself included, are growing desperate. Every moment feels like a race against time, against fate. The tension among the remaining participants is palpable. We’ve all become numbers now, not people—just pawns in a game that doesn’t care about our lives. The final game is announced, and my heart skips a beat.
It's the one everybody's afraid of: the glass bridge.
We line up in a row, one behind the other, in front of the two routes laid out before us, each comprising several glass panels, some strong and some weak. We had to walk over them and choose appropriate ones to cross or plunge to death. A shiver runs down my spine as the first few players go up front, and what happened was inevitable. One after another, they fall. Screams pierce the cold air, but clear had been the instruction from the guard that no one was to move unless his turn came upon him. Just as I'm about to take my first step, I suddenly feel. something.
It's him.
The square-guard above watches on, his eyes tracking my every movement, and for a split second, our gazes meet. The connection is brief, but it's enough. I don't know what to make of it, but something in the way he watches me is different. There's something in his eyes-something almost…regretful.
It's my turn.
I step onto the bridge, my legs trembling as creaks come from within the glass as my body weight presses down upon it. The first few steps are just fine. My luck has to turn sometime. The crack starts to give under me and I freeze. I looked back, and that is when I see it-something shifting in Sunghoon's posture. Moving.
Too late.
Balance is lost.
I heard him scream my name-my real name, not a number-and did not care. I fell. This was a never-ending fall. The world spun and the only thing I was aware of was air rushing in as I dropped with the pretty firm knowledge I'd not live to cry out.
And then, there was nothing.
Sunghoon's POV
The world is silent.
I stand in stock-stillness, my heartbeat the only sound of the drumbeat as their body disappears into the void below, and with every shattered piece of me. I should have. I should have—
My fist slams against the metal wall. Its echo rings out into that space. Why didn't I act sooner? Why couldn't I pull them back? Why couldn't I protect?
I close my eyes, the guilt suffocating me. This wasn't supposed to happen. I wasn't supposed to feel this way. But here I am, crushed under the weight of it, the weight of my failure. I should never have gotten involved. I should never have helped them.
But I couldn't stop myself.
And now…
I failed.
I failed them.
The game goes on, but Sunghoon's mind is a maelstrom.
The rest of the players are like shadows, their faces hollow with fear and exhaustion. To Sunghoon, however, time has stopped. He stares at the rest of the players, his eyes searching among them for any sign of the one he couldn't protect. Every step weighs too much to be taken. Every decision he makes feels like a mistake. And when the final buzzer goes off, he barely hears it.
It's the end of the day now, and it doesn't matter anymore.
The only thing filling Sunghoon's head is the weight of his own guilt. The others are rejoicing, but his mind is consumed by you-your face, your eyes, and the time you spent together. He had never gotten the chance to say goodbye.
And he never will.

{P1}, {P3} on the works
You haven't shown up at the hideout in a week. You've been staying at different places every day since that night as to prevent Jinx from tracking you down, even though you didn't believe she would try to since you were a major jerk to her after what was probably her first time with someone ever. You’ve been punishing yourself for that too even though you weren’t entirely sure you were her first. You’ve been drinking yourself to sleep every night since then. The irony in this whole situation is that that party was supposed to cheer you up and bring you out of gloomsville but it only managed to sink you further into a dark hole.
Maybe you should apologize and try to understand what really happened, but you’re pretty sure she’ll try to blow your head off after psychologically torturing you but at the same time you can’t keep up like this, it’s exhausting. So you think of the only person you know with a semblance of knowledge and that you can go fish for advice. Getting up from the dirty floor you slept on, you throw on your hooded cloak to go meet her and start to move through the shadows of the dirty zaunite streets without being noticed by anybody until you reach an alley where three people are sitting around a wooden crate, drinking, smoking and playing cards.
Sevika has a cigarette in her mouth and grins wickedly at the hand she’s been dealt. You try to figure out a way to alert her of your presence but in no time she’s throwing cards on the table and collecting her winnings for the night. She doesn't linger so you follow her around the maze of streets and alleyways. She keeps looking back, checking if anybody is following her, her instincts probably warning her that someone actually is. She stops to light another cigar and rests her back on a nearby wall so you take the opportunity to come out of the shadows, appearing in front of her.
“Damn, you look like death itself.” She says with a raised eyebrow. “Came to finish the job after all?” But there’s no real concern to her voice.
“Can we um… talk?” You ask, uncertain about how you’re going to bring this about with Sevika, of all people.
“Talk? You sure you’re not confusing me with someone else?” She lets out a dark chuckle and you roll your eyes at her reaction, she wasn’t about to make this easy for you.
“Yeah… have you uh… seen Jinx lately?” You hate how insecure you sound, being this vulnerable is making you want to give up and bolt.
“Jinx huh? Aren’t you two practically glued to each other?” She asks with an amused smirk on her face.
“We had a fight. No, actually I fucked up…” You say looking down at the floor. Sevika lets out a laugh.
“Well that’s not unheard of coming from you.” She teases. You sigh heavily and shake your head but you kind of deserve it. “She’s been looking for you, y’know?” Sevika says seriously now. You look up at her surprised to hear this piece of information.
“Really? Is she still mad? Do you think I should go back to the hideout?” You blurt out, hope growing in your chest.
“Slow down kid. Listen, I'm not gonna tell you what to do. Especially because I don't give a damn about your little lovers quarrel.” She starts explaining her line of thought before taking a break to puff out her cigar. “What I'm going to tell you is this: that crazy girl is obsessed with you and that kid. She's been nagging me about helping her find you this entire week. Which I don't appreciate one bit. So for the sake of my sanity and both of your safety, you should go and take care of this.” She finishes with an annoyed look but you appreciate her words greatly.
“We're not lov-” You star to retort but she gives you a death glare which makes you halt. “Okay fine, I’ll take care of it.” You tell her earnestly.
“Good.” She pushes herself off of the wall and throws the remains of her cigar on the floor. “Now fuck off, Shiv.” That's the first time you ever hear her call you by your alias which brings you a sense of respect. You chuckle, starting to disappear in the shadows.
“Thanks, Sevika.” Your disembodied voice reverberates through the empty alley.
“Tsk, creepy kid.” Is the last thing you hear her say from a distance before you turn around the next corner.
The familiar feeling of fear burns inside your chest when you reach Jinx’s hideout but you find it eerily quiet and still. There's no sign of the blue haired girl but you spot Isha snoozing peacefully on the orange couch. You approach her silently to move some hair off her face and kiss her forehead gently. She stirs a bit but doesn't wake up and you take a moment to just admire her easy slumber.
You're glad at least little Isha is safe and unbothered by this whole ordeal between you and Jinx, although you did cause more instability by leaving unexpectedly. She is the better part between the three of you and not being around her just made everything worse. You wonder if she even missed you because you’ve definitely missed hanging out with her. Before you leave, you cover her little figure with a blanket so she doesn't get cold.
You rack your brain for places where Jinx might be. You check the nearby bathroom and the next door building's roof where you very probably took her virtue, but there was no sign of her. You try not to think of that night, her soft lips, the way she felt around your fingers or your stupid harsh words, but it was all still very vivid in your head.
You wish you could go back in time and do everything differently but there's no point in dwelling on that, you need to find her. So the next place you can think of is Silco’s old office, Jinx had dragged you there before to retrieve something from her secret stash when you were still her prisoner, so you try to remember how to get there.
You move as fast as you can through the shadows but nights at Zaun were very much busy and filled with people, which makes you take longer than necessary just to avoid anyone. You finally manage to reach the abandoned office but you stop outside the door when you hear her speaking softly, then angrily, seemingly trying to process a lot of different emotions.
You take a deep breath before quietly stepping in, careful not to make any noise and alert her to your presence, so you wait for the right opportunity. From where you're standing you can see pow-pow holstered on her hip and that she's wearing different clothes. Striped purple pants and a black crop top, which are certainly new. You wonder what happened to her old clothes.
When you step into the light after she finally gets quiet, she sees your reflection on the big round window in front of her. A bullet misses you by inches, leaving a cut on your cheek that draws some blood. You don't react, shit if she wants to shoot you right through your chest you would let her, that's how much you believe you need punishment for what you did. Jinx lets out an angry grunt and uses her superspeed to come halfway close to you when she suddenly stops to scream at the voices to shut up.
“Where the fuck have you been?!” She screams at you now. “You're MINE Shiv! Don't you fucking get it?! Why did you leave me?!” Her voice cracks in the end and she starts crying, body shaking as she starts to sob uncontrollably. You chance a step towards her but she shoots by your feet making you freeze again.
“I-I know, I fucked up big time, Jinx.” You tell her desperately, tears also running down your face. “Please forgive me. I'll do anything you want. I'll never run again, fuck you can lock me up in a cage again if you want, but please… I'm so sorry.” You beg, reaching a hand forward from where you're standing several feet away from her. She grabs the sides of her head and shakes it, trying to shut down the voices.
“You're sorry? How fucking dare you toy with my feelings like that?! I gave myself to you completely and you treat me like I'm some... animal you can chase away when you're done playing with it… you made me feel so good… called me princess and then treated me like I'm some just street trash…” She rants between sobs and your heart shatters in a million pieces.
“I know, I-I was a total asshole loser. I didn't know you had these feelings… I didn't know you were a… that that might have been your first… everything really. I mean, was it?” You need to know, damn if it’s true you would’ve done everything differently. She huffs angrily and turns away from you, hugging her middle as if trying to close herself from you.
“Does it matter now? You can’t change what happened.” She says with a shaky voice and zaps back to sit on the wooden desk, propping a foot on the swivel chair that once belonged to her father. Her shoulders are still shaking from crying but at least she’s not screaming anymore.
“I guess it doesn’t. But I wish I could’ve done things differently. If I had known about your feelings… I guess I shouldn’t have been so stubborn and ignored my own.” You slowly start to move closer to her when she puts her gun aside.
“Try asking next time.” She says, seeming exhausted. You manage to round the desk and stand in front of her. She glances at you, makeup all smeared underneath her eyes, and looks away. You want to reach out so badly and hold her in your arms, but you don’t want to trigger her any further.
“Okay, then. Do you… like me, Jinx? As more than friends or whatever we have going on, I mean.” You question her honestly. Your face burns furiously though, being this forward feels foreign to you.
“Yes dummy, I’ve been in love with you for a while now.” She finally looks at you and chuckles at your reaction. You’re completely dumbfounded, the look of shock on your face practically comical. What does she mean she’s in love with you? Your brain is trying hard to add two plus two but it takes you a minute.
“You - you’re in love with me?” You ask incredulously. Jinx nods timidly, her cheeks starting to blush a deep pink. “I uh… wow. I really wasn’t expecting that but... if I’m being honest with myself… I think I’ve been in love with you for a while too.” You manage to say before bursting into tears. Jinx reaches out an arm to you and you take her hand. She pulls you towards her, snuggling you between her legs and you practically melt into her, burying your face on her neck as she embraces you.
“Oh my silly Trinket.” She purrs against your hair. She moves a hand to cradle the back of your head while the other rubs circles on your back. You’re both still crying, the weight of all that was said and done falling upon you.
“I should- should be the one comforting you.” You say between sobs. “I’m so sorry, Jinx. I’ll never hurt you ever again.” You promise her, lifting up your head to look her in the eyes. She gives you a teary smile and caresses your cheek, making you lean into her touch.
“You better not.” She says, chuckling. “I don’t think I can survive another one of these.” She gestures between you two. You laugh timidly, wiping under your nose when she leans in to kiss your cheek, the one cut by her bullet. Your eyes flutter from feeling the softness of her lips on your skin and you instinctively rest your hands on her waist.
Jinx wipes your tears and blood gently and pulls you in for a tight hug, snaking her legs around your waist and laying her head on your chest, close to your fluttering heart. You cup the back of her neck to caress it lightly, goosebumps rising to the brush of your fingers. She lets out a heavy sigh and tightens her grip on you. You swear you could stay like this forever, having the heat of her body warm up your soul. And to think you almost gave this up because you couldn't let yourself be vulnerable.
“My chaos princess, I'm so lucky to be yours.” You say against the top of her head. She looks up at you with doey eyes before leaning in to kiss your lips. You sigh into the kiss and cup her face with shaky hands. Gods, how you missed the taste of her so you graze your tongue on her bottom lip seeking entrance and she lets you deepen the kiss.
Your tongues dance languidly against one another very unlike the first time you two kissed, no desperation or urgent desire motivating your actions, just simply wanting to memorize every stroke and every breath and every shiver elicited. You can't help but let out a moan when her hands run up your back, breaking the kiss. She takes the opportunity to kiss a path down your neck, dragging her teeth on the tender skin of your pulse point. You let out a quiet ‘fuck’ when she starts suckling a hickey on the curve between your neck and shoulder. Although you definitely don't mind being marked by her, you pull gently on one of her braids making her move away from your neck so you can kiss her senseless.
Jinx is utterly pliant to your desires and lets you guide her wherever you want, you don't quite remember her ever being this willing to let go of any control except for that fateful night you had her writhing underneath you. In no time your hands start to wander, desperate for a reminder of what her thighs feel like. They're still firm like you remember but only now there was too much clothing covering them. She tries to pull you closer, tightening the grip of her legs around your hips. You smile against her lips before grinding against her crotch, making her let out a delicious moan.
“Getting a little excited aren't we?” You say close to her ear. She whines, seemingly frustrated that you're talking and not kissing her.
“You haven't earned teasing privileges yet, Trinket.” She says with a cute pout on her face. “Now, why don't you make it up to me by making me feel real good, huh?” She says planting that damn attractive smirk on her face.
“Anything for you princess.” You mirror her expression before connecting your lips in a soaring kiss. She hums in approval then lets you explore her mouth with your soft tongue. You take this opportunity to run your hands up her stomach and towards her chest.
“I like these new clothes by the way.” You digress, running your index fingers through her side boobs. “Though I prefer you in way less clothing.” You lick her lips playfully and she chases after your mouth.
“Yeah, I've noticed.” She loops a finger through the hoop on your choker to pull you close to her mouth. “I’ve caught up staring before. Several times.” She whispers and you can't help but feel a little embarrassed by that.
“Fuck, was I that obvious?” You feel your cheeks burn in embarrassment. The blue haired girl kisses your face sweetly.
“Yeah, but lucky for you I was really into it.” She giggles before closing the gap between you. You grind against her again before pulling up her top, exposing her chest to your hungry fingers. She whimpers when you pinch at her pierced nipple and tries to seek more friction on her core with her lower body, making your own arousal pool inside your pants.
You part from her mouth to whisper a suggestion in her ear. “I want to try something, will you let me?” She nods her head positively so you kiss the skin behind her year before looking her in the eyes. “I want to taste you, princess.” You say watching her reaction. Her eyes grow wide and her face turns red but she gives you a quiet okay.
“We don't have to if you don't want to.” You reassure her but she shakes her head furiously before grabbing onto your chest harness with shaky hands.
“No, please I- I want to.” She says timidly but plants a soft kiss on your lips. You hold her face with one hand.
“Okay, but just so you know, we can stop anytime you want, yeah?” You want to make sure she feels comfortable every step of the way. She nods again and it's your turn to kiss her tenderly.
You start to venerate her body by kissing down her neck, leaving a couple of bruises on her throat before showering her chest with attention. You loved on her small perky breasts, licking and biting her hardened nipples until she was a panting mess. Then you move to her stomach and her waist covered with the cloud tattoo you loved so much, not missing the opportunity to leave a few markings next to the line of her pants. You chance a glance up at her and you're met with a sight you wish you never forget. She has a frown between her eyebrows, her cheeks are flushed red and her lips are swollen from your kisses.
You untangle her legs from around you then lower yourself on your knees before hooking your fingers on the hem of her pants. “You okay over there?” You ask with an innocent smile. She lets out a frustrated whine.
“Fuck Y/N, please just take them off already.” She says impatiently. You chuckle but obey anyway, pulling down the offending clothes down her legs, boots going with it in the process.
You kiss her left feet and up her leg before reaching the inside of her thighs. Jinx is already trembling when you spread her legs further, entirely exposing her to you. Your mouth waters at what you find, her wetness already running down her inner thigh, engorged clit pulsating with want and outer lips are puffy from all the blood concentrated on her core. You snake your arms around her thighs and you pull her closer to the edge of the desk. She has a death grip on it, knuckles turning pale already.
“Can you hold my hair up for me, princess?” You ask politely, laying a kiss on her pubic mound. She complies and you feel her grip tighten when you lick a firm path through her pussy.
“Hoooly fuck.” She says, rolling her eyes inside her skull and dropping her head back. You smile at her reaction and continue slowly lapping at her with a firm tongue.
“You're so hot.” You tell her when you take a break to part her folds with two fingers.
“You should see yourself.” She replies, running her thumb through your jaw till it reaches your lips.
You open your mouth to expose your tongue to her, making her slide her finger on it. You smirk before wrapping your lips around it and start sucking and moving your head back and forth to cover the whole length of it with your saliva. She just looks at you, hypnotised. You take her hand, releasing her thumb with a pop, then guide it towards her own chest, smearing your saliva on her pierced nipple. “Shit, I'm gonna lose the rest of my sanity if you keep up like this.” She tells you in awe, pupils completely blown with desire.
“I definitely don't mind.” You chuckle before returning your attention to her dripping center. You massage her clit between your digits before pulling up its hood and wrapping your lips around it to give it gentle sucks. Above you, Jinx lets out an obscene moan that reverberates through your own body, making you moan against her as well.
“Oh fuck, I'm gonna - fuck, fuck, fuck, I can't hold-” She mumbles incoherently, unintentionally pulling on your hair so tight you let out a whimper against her. You let go of her protruding bud before she reaches her peak, making her protest with an impatient whine and she tries to force you back where she needs you by pushing your head forward but you diverge your face towards her inner thigh, biting down at it. She lets out a cry that sounds more like a moan so you soothe the bruise with your tongue.
“Be patient, princess.” You tell her before flicking your tongue lightly on her clit. She squirms and tries to close her legs involuntarily.
“Hah that tickles.” The feather-like sensation making her finicky.
“Humm. Do you prefer it more like this?” You apply more pressure when you lick her this time and you see her eyes flutter at the sensation.
“Yeeah, that's better. Just like that.” She drops her head back once more, mouth agape but still managing to hold your hair away from your face with one hand.
She's a true vision from where you are kneeling between her legs and you realise how close you already feel to your own orgasm just by pleasuring her. So when you tease two fingers on her entrance you decide to slide your free hand inside your pants to take care of yourself. Jinx looks back at you starved when your digits reach the back of her wall and you notice she's fighting hard not to close her eyes so she can watch you satisfy yourself while you fuck her. You finally give her throbbing bud the attention it deserves by sucking hard on it.
It only takes a few pumps of your fingers inside her until she's reaching her orgasm, shaking so hard around your head you need to reach over to steady her. You help her ride her high but you've got no intention to slow down and stop. On the contrary, you fuck her harder and graze your teeth on her clit a few times, teasing it. She gasps and looks at you surprised but doesn't try to stop you. You catch her clit between your lips again when you return your hand to your center.
You want to make you both come together and it so happens when Jinx lets out a long moan and squirts all over your mouth and down your throat. Your eyes roll backwards at your own pleasure coating your hand with your ecstasy. You two moan in unison as you ride your fervor for a little longer before you release her clit and slowly remove your fingers from inside her. She collapses back on the desk, chest heaving, and you also try to steady your breathing.
“You okay over there, Jinxie?” You ask after a minute, worried you might have broken her.
“Better than okay.” She slurs her words, sounding drunk. You chuckle and try to get up but it seems your legs have turned to mush.
“Wanna give me a hand then?” You ask playfully. She sits up and looks down at you with amusement but as she takes in the state you're in, her eyes darken.
“Didn't expect you to be worse off than me.” She says half jokingly and offers you her hand. You reach to take it but before you can she grabs your wrist and starts cleaning your cum off of it. “Hmmm, as sweet as I dreamed you would be.” She says after finishing her handiwork. You feel like a deer caught in headlights.
She manages to lift you up to your feet and pulls you in for a passionate kiss, licking up all of her fluids from your face passionately. Her wandering hands find the swell of your ass and squeezes making you moan her name. You knew where this was going but you didn't know if you were ready yet for it to happen. Jinx starts kissing your jaw and down your throat when you hear someone entering the room suddenly.
“What the hell is going on here?” Sevika says in horror.
After having survived Sevika’s wrath in what you now know is her new office, you and Jinx return to the hideout separately so as not to attract attention to yourselves. When morning comes and Isha wakes up to the sight of you sleeping on a thin mattress next to the couch and Jinx hunched over her workstation, tinkering away at some random project, she lets out a confused sound. The kid sits up and removes the blanket from herself, wiping the sleep off of her eyes before crossing her arms on her chest with an angry look on her face.
As if sensing she is awake, you stir into consciousness and open one eye to chance a peek in her direction but your vision is still blurry from sleep so you lazily throw an arm in Isha’s direction only to feel your hand being swatted away. Oh boy, here we go again. You sigh deeply before sitting up as well and resting your forearm on the couch. Isha gestures to you that she's angry you left and that Jinx was really sad, completely out of control and even burned up her clothes while laughing maniacally at the flames.
“Burned her clothes?” You whisper back. The little kid nods positively and like a tough loving parent, she gestures and demands to know what happened. “I-I know, I screwed up big time. And um… I didn't think I deserved forgiveness, so I left.” You try to explain without getting into what actually happened.
She huffs and looks about as disappointed as you feel for having left her. “I'm sorry Isha. I shouldn't have left you and I couldn't stand being away from both of you so I came back. I'm not sure if Jinx has forgiven me entirely but if you can, that would mean the world to me.” A tear rolls down her cheek so you reach over to wipe it away and this time she doesn't reject you.
On the contrary, Isha lunges forward and throws her little arms around your neck, burying her face in your hair. You cradle her head and make soothing patterns on her back as she cries quietly, wishing you could take all her sadness away. “It's okay baby. I’m never leaving you again. I promise.” You reassure her.
There's suddenly a light weight hugging you both as Jinx decides to join in your little moment of reconciliation, probably having overheard what you said. “Yeah, I won't let it happen.” she says resolutely. You smile because even though the implications behind her words are very dark, your heart can't help but flutter at her pledge.
“I've forgiven you, y’know?” She whispers now into your ear. You turn to look at her with tears in your eyes as she backs away slightly. You want to kiss her so badly but at the same time you don't want Isha to feel weird about whatever you've got going on with Jinx.
However she is the one to take the first step and lean in to kiss your cheek. You don't understand how a simple act of affection can make your heart beat so fast and your face burn so hot when not long ago you were doing much more lewd things to her that elicited this same reaction. She smirks at your flustered expression but looks away when she realises Isha watched the whole scene unfold. The little girl looks between you two and mimics Jinx by planting a quick kiss on your other cheek.
“Hey! I'm not willing to share, kid.” Jinx protests but Isha only giggles and sneakily gives the blue haired girl's face a smooch before snaking her arms around both your necks to pull you into a group hug with a huge smile on her face.

Hey 😊 I love your writing sooo much !
Would you maybe write a Tim Bradford imagine where you're also a TO and you're having feelings for each other but you both try to ignore them, not to let them get in your way during the job. One time that changes as like in the episodes where Lucy gets kidnapped, it's you instead of her after a date gone wrong. Tim is on the edge the whole time till they find you. And when he sees you in that barrel, barely alive, his world crashes. Of course you can be saved and he stays at the hospital all the time. When you get home he also insists on taking care of you and there he also finds the courage to tell you his feelings properly, how much he loves you and that he'll always be there to protect you. I hope that's okay with you 💗🫶🏼
I’m not going anywhere
Summary: Tim and Y/N, both tough and dedicated TOs, struggle to suppress their growing feelings for each other. When Y/N is abducted after a date goes wrong, Tim refuses to back down, risking everything to find her.
Note: I'm so glad you enjoy my stories, love! 🫶 Thank you for this amazing request, I absolutely love the idea! I decided to give it my own spin to keep it unique and fresh instead of copying the entire episode. I hope you enjoy it! 🤍
Reader x Tim Bradford
Genre: fluff/angst
Being a Training Officer was never easy. You were expected to mold rookies into dependable cops, but it was also your job to keep them alive.
Every shift brought challenges that tested your patience and skills, especially when you worked alongside someone like Tim Bradford.
Tim was a force of nature. His bluntness could crush egos, his discipline was unmatched, and his loyalty ran deeper than any badge.
As a fellow TO, I admired him more than I cared to admit. But admiration had morphed into something more, something complicated.
I had feelings for him. And it was maddening.
Tim was infuriating. He challenged me at every turn, pushed me to my limits, and managed to crawl under my skin like no one else ever had.
But then there were the moments that made my heart ache:
the quiet glances when he thought no one was watching, the softness in his voice when he checked on me after a tough day, the way he never let anyone, rookie or otherwise, disrespect me.
We would also text each other back and forth to check in on one another.
It got to the point where if one of us didn’t respond within an hour, we assumed something was wrong.
That’s what normal colleagues do, right? Checking up on one another, or am I just fooling myself?
For months, I’d buried those feelings, telling myself that they were a distraction I couldn’t afford.
This job was dangerous enough without the added complication of being in love with my colleague.
Still, there were moments when I wondered if he felt the same.
I mean, someone like Tim Bradford wouldn’t just know my favorite coffee order for no reason, right?
The station was already filled with people when I arrived, the smell of burnt coffee and stale paperwork filling the air.
I was halfway to my desk when I heard Tim’s voice behind me.
“You look like you didn’t sleep,” he said, stepping beside me.
“Good morning to you too, Bradford,” I replied, rolling my eyes.
“I’m serious,” he said, giving me a once-over and putting the coffee he got me down on my desk.
“Late night?”
“Something like that,” I muttered, collapsing into my chair.
His eyes narrowed slightly. “Work-related?”
“No.”
He didn’t ask further, but the tension in his jaw told me he wanted to.
The truth was, I’d been on another date last night.
For weeks, I’d been trying to distract myself from my feelings for Tim by going out with guys I barely knew.
The dates were always the same, awkward conversations, forced laughter, and a growing sense that I was wasting my time.
But I kept trying, convinced that if I could just find someone else, I’d stop thinking about Tim every second of every day.
“How’s the rookie?” I asked, steering the conversation away from myself.
Tim sighed. “Still green, but they’ll get there.”
Before he could say more, Angela appeared, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
“Well, if it isn’t the dream team,” she teased, leaning against my desk.
“What do you want, Lopez?” Tim asked, crossing his arms.
“Nothing,” she said innocently.
“Just enjoying the sight of you two pretending you’re not completely into each other.”
I nearly choked on my coffee. “Excuse me?”
Angela smirked. “Oh, come on. It’s obvious to everyone but you two.”
Tim’s ears turned red, and he muttered something under his breath before walking off.
“You really need to do something about that tension,” Angela said, winking at me.
I glared at her. “There is no tension. Besides, I'm going on a date later tonight." I added to make her shut up.
“Sure, but we both know the real reason why you're going on that date,” she said, walking away with a laugh.
I glanced at Tim, who was now at the other end of the room, barking orders at a rookie.
For a moment, our eyes met, and my heart did that stupid fluttering thing I hated so much.
Angela might have been onto something.
That evening after my shift, I found myself sitting across from Eric, my date for the night.
He was tall, dark-haired, and charming in a way that felt almost too polished.
We’d met at a coffee shop a week ago, and while I hadn’t been particularly interested, I’d agreed to go out with him.
“So, what made you say yes?” Eric asked, flashing me a grin.
“Honestly? I don’t know,” I admitted, sipping my drink.
He laughed, leaning back in his chair. “Well, I’m glad you did.”
I nodded, but my mind wasn’t really on him. As he talked about his job in finance, I found myself comparing him to Tim.
Eric was nice, but he didn’t have Tim’s sharp wit or his quiet strength.
“You’re distracted,” Eric said suddenly, his voice breaking into my thoughts.
“Sorry,” I said quickly. “Long day.”
“Let’s fix that,” he said, signaling the bartender for another round. “How about we go somewhere quieter after this?”
I hesitated, knowing I shouldn't agree to go with a stranger but I wanted to forget about Tim.
His charm had a rehearsed quality, and his smile didn’t quite reach his eyes. Something about Eric felt... off.
But I pushed the thought aside, chalking it up to my overactive imagination.
“Sure,” I said, forcing a smile
Eric’s apartment was in a run-down building on the outskirts of the city.
The moment I stepped inside, unease crept up my spine.
The place was sparse, too sparse, and smelled faintly of chemicals.
“Nice place,” I said, trying to keep my voice light.
“Thanks,” Eric replied, locking the door behind us.
When I turned to face him, his expression had changed. The easy smile was gone, replaced by something darker.
“You’re a cop, aren’t you?” he asked, his voice low and sharp.
I froze. Not understanding why that was important. “What?”
“I saw your badge the other night,” he said, stepping closer.
My heart raced. “Eric, I think you’re confused—”
Before I could finish, he grabbed my arm, his grip bruising.
“You cops think you’re so smart,” he snarled. “Always sticking your noses where they don’t belong.”
“Let go of me,” I said, trying to pull away.
He didn’t. Instead, he shoved me against the wall, his hand clamping over my mouth.
“You’re going to regret this,” he hissed.
Panic surged through me as he dragged me toward a side door. My mind raced, searching for an escape, but he was too strong.
The last thing I saw before everything went black was the glint of a syringe in his hand.
When I woke up, my head throbbed, and my body felt heavy. I was in a dark, cold room, my hands bound and my mouth gagged.
Eric stood over me, a twisted smile on his face.
“Slept well, officer?” he taunted.
I glared at him, refusing to give him the satisfaction of a response.
“You thought you could mess with me?” he continued, pacing. “Well, now you’re going to see what happens when people cross me.”
He opened a barrel in the corner of the room, the metallic smell making my stomach churn.
“No one’s coming for you,” he said, lifting me effortlessly and shoving me inside.
As the lid closed, plunging me into darkness, I fought to stay calm. I couldn’t die here. Not like this.
Meanwhile, Tim paced through the station, his instincts churning. Something was wrong.
He couldn't explain it, but the nagging feeling in his gut had only grown stronger since Y/N hadn’t responded to his messages.
It wasn’t like her to leave him hanging, and she always checked in after her shifts or when she went out.
He tried to push the thought aside, she was a grown woman, capable and strong, but it wouldn’t leave him.
Tim knew her routines, and her habits, and something didn’t add up. He checked his phone again.
Nothing.
“Where is she?” he muttered under his breath, frustration bubbling over.
Back at his desk, Tim pulled out his phone and shot her another text:
“You home safe?”
The minutes ticked by, and there was no response.
He told himself she was probably asleep or didn’t hear her phone. She always replied, though. Always.
Another text: “Y/N, call me when you get this.”
Tim stared at the screen, waiting, the worry clawing at him now. He scrolled through their recent messages, trying to reassure himself.
Her last text had been earlier in the evening: “Heading out now. Have fun working your long shift!”
It sounded normal. Casual. But he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong.
He stepped out into the hallway and called her phone. It rang and rang before going to voicemail.
“Y/N, it’s me. Call me back when you get this, alright? Just… let me know you’re okay.”
He hung up, his chest tightening. Something was definitely wrong.
Tim called her again, then again, but there was no answer.
“Damn it,” he muttered under his breath, pacing back and forth.
He decided to start with the basics. Heading to Grey’s office, Tim knocked and stepped in without waiting for an answer.
“Bradford, what can I do for you?” Grey asked, looking up from his paperwork.
“Have you seen Y/L/N? She didn’t come back to the station tonight, did she?” Tim asked, keeping his tone steady, though his mind was racing.
Grey shook his head. “No, she clocked out on time. Why?”
Tim hesitated. “No reason just hadn’t heard from her. Thought she might’ve stayed late.”
“Everything okay?” Grey’s perceptive gaze lingered.
“Yeah. I’m sure it’s fine.” Tim turned and left the office, though his gut told him otherwise.
Tim strode into the bullpen, where Angela Lopez and Nyla Harper were deep in conversation over their laptops.
“Have either of you heard from Y/N?” Tim asked abruptly.
Angela looked up, frowning. “Not since this morning. Didn’t she have a date tonight?”
The word date hit Tim like a punch. “Do you know where?”
Angela shook her head. “She didn’t say much, just that it was someone new she met online. Why?”
Tim’s jaw tightened. “She’s not answering her phone.”
Nyla set her coffee down, her sharp instincts immediately kicking in. “How long has it been?”
“Hours,” Tim admitted, his frustration evident. “She always checks in. This isn’t like her.”
Angela exchanged a glance with Nyla.
“Alright,” Nyla said, standing up.
“Let’s figure this out. You said she had a date, does she use any apps? Maybe tech can pull her messages.”
Angela nodded. “She mentioned using something, but I don’t remember the name. Let’s get tech on it.”
Angela grabbed her phone, calling tech support while Nyla placed a calming hand on Tim’s shoulder.
“We’ll find her, Bradford,” she said firmly. “You know Y/N, she’s tough. She wouldn’t go down without a fight.”
Tim didn’t respond, his jaw clenched tightly.
The bullpen was full of people and their voices, but to Tim, the noise was a distant hum.
His focus was razor-sharp, his jaw clenched so tightly that his teeth ached.
He loomed behind the tech analyst’s desk, the tension radiating off him making the others keep their distance.
Angela and Nyla exchanged concerned glances nearby, but no one dared to interrupt him.
“Anything yet?” he barked, his voice cutting through the room like a whip.
The analyst flinched slightly but kept typing. “I’m pulling her dating app data now. It’s just taking a moment to decrypt the server.”
Tim’s fists clenched at his sides. Every second felt like a lifetime.
Y/N was out there, somewhere, and the thought of her being in danger gnawed at him like a vice around his chest.
Finally, the analyst straightened. “Got something!”
Tim surged forward, leaning over the desk as the analyst brought up a profile on the screen.
“She was messaging a guy named Eric Dawson,” the analyst explained, scrolling through the messages.
“They had arranged to meet at a bar in Eagle Rock.”
Tim’s heart pounded. “What bar?”
“Solana’s Tavern,” the analyst replied.
Nyla crossed her arms, her brow furrowed.
“That area’s rough. Not exactly where you take someone on a first date.”
Tim’s chest tightened further. “Pull traffic cams from outside the bar. I need to know if she made it there and if she left.”
The analyst nodded and got to work, typing furiously. The tension in the room was suffocating as everyone watched the screen in silence.
Tim paced behind the desk, every step heavy with barely restrained anxiety.
“Tim,” Angela said softly, approaching him.
“Maybe you should take a beat. Let us handle this.”
He spun around, his eyes blazing. “No. She’s counting on me. I’m not sitting this one out.”
Angela held up her hands in surrender, backing off.
“Got it!” the analyst said, breaking the silence.
Footage from a traffic camera outside the bar flickered onto the screen.
They watched as Y/N appeared, her expression hesitant as she walked into the bar.
“There she is,” Angela said, pointing at the screen.
Tim leaned closer, his eyes locked on the image of Y/N.
He barely noticed how hard his hands were gripping the edge of the desk.
The analyst fast-forwarded the footage, scanning for her exit. About an hour later, Y/N appeared again, walking out with a man.
The guy had his hand on her arm, his grip firm, his body language all wrong.
“She doesn’t look comfortable,” Nyla said, her voice low.
“He’s leading her. She’s not willingly going with him.”
Tim’s stomach churned. “Run his plates,” he snapped, his tone sharp.
The analyst zoomed in on the car the man guided Y/N towards, pulling up the plate number.
Seconds later, the vehicle’s registration information appeared.
“The car is registered to an address just outside the city,” the analyst said.
“A warehouse on the outskirts of town.”
“That’s it,” Tim said, already moving.
He grabbed his vest and radio. “Gear up. We’re heading there now.”
“Tim,” Grey’s voice called, cutting through the chaos.
Tim stopped but didn’t turn around.
“You need to stay focused,” Grey said firmly, stepping closer.
“I know how much this means to you, but if you’re too emotional, you’ll compromise the operation.”
Tim turned, his eyes hard. “With all due respect sir but again, I’m not sitting this one out.”
Grey studied him for a long moment before nodding. “Fine. But keep your head on straight. She’s counting on you, and I can't afford to lose one of my best officers.”
Tim nodded sharply, strapping on his vest.
“Let’s move,” he said to Angela and Nyla, his tone leaving no room for argument.
With the rest of the team following behind.
The warehouse loomed in the distance, a decrepit shell of concrete and rust that felt suffocating even from the outside.
Tim’s heart pounded in his chest as he and the team moved in silently, weapons drawn.
Every instinct screamed at him to hurry, but he forced himself to stay focused.
This wasn’t just another rescue mission. This was Y/N. His Y/N.
And he was barely holding it together.
They moved through the darkened halls, their flashlights sweeping over scattered debris and abandoned machinery.
The air was thick with the smell of oil and mildew, but there was something else, a faint metallic tang that Tim couldn’t quite place.
It turned his stomach.
“Clear,” Angela said, her voice steady as they swept one room after another.
Tim’s jaw clenched. Every second that passed felt like an eternity, and with each empty room, the knot in his chest tightened.
“Over here!” Nolan’s voice cut through the tense silence.
Tim turned, his flashlight catching the glint of something metallic in the corner of the room. A row of barrels.
“No...” he whispered, his legs moving before his brain could catch up.
The closer he got, the stronger the smell became, an acrid mix of chemicals and fear.
He dropped to his knees in front of the nearest barrel, his hands trembling as he pried the lid off.
Empty.
He moved to the next one, his breath coming in ragged gasps.
“Bradford,” Angela said gently, placing a hand on his shoulder.
“No!” he snapped, shaking her off. “I’m not stopping.”
The third barrel was heavier. He could feel it as he pulled at the lid, his muscles straining. And then it came loose.
Tim’s flashlight illuminated the inside, and his entire world shattered.
It was her.
Y/N was curled inside, her body limp, her skin pale and clammy. Her wrists were bound, the rope digging so deeply into her skin that blood had dried in angry, red streaks.
Her breathing was shallow, her chest rising and falling so faintly he almost missed it.
“Y/N!” he choked, dropping his flashlight and reaching in to pull her out.
“Get a medic!” Angela yelled, her voice distant as Tim focused solely on Y/N.
He cradled her against his chest, his hands shaking as he checked for a pulse. It was there, but weak.
“Come on, Y/N,” he whispered, his voice breaking. “Stay with me.”
Her eyelids fluttered, and for a moment, he thought he’d imagined it. But then her lips parted, and a barely audible whisper escaped.
“Tim...”
Relief surged through him, hot and overwhelming.
“I’m here,” he said, brushing the hair from her face. “I’ve got you. You’re safe now.”
Her head lolled against his chest, and he tightened his grip, as if holding her closer could somehow shield her from everything she’d been through.
The paramedics arrived moments later, but to Tim, it felt like hours.
He reluctantly let them take her, his hands still hovering as if afraid she’d disappear if he didn’t keep touching her.
As they loaded her into the ambulance, Angela placed a hand on his shoulder again. This time, he didn’t shrug it off.
“You did good,” she said softly.
He didn’t answer. All he could think about was the sight of her in that barrel, the life nearly drained out of her.
And how he never wanted to feel that kind of fear again.
The first thing I felt was pain, dull, throbbing, and constant pain.
It was everywhere, but especially in my chest, like I couldn’t breathe deeply without it stabbing me from the inside.
My eyes fluttered open, and I was greeted by a blinding white light that made me squeeze them shut again.
I tried to move, but my body protested. My throat was dry, my lips cracked.
“Y/N?”
The voice was soft, deep, and familiar. I forced my eyes open again, squinting, and slowly turned my head toward the sound.
“Tim…” I croaked, barely above a whisper.
He was right there, leaning forward in the stiff hospital chair like he’d been glued to it for hours.
His hands were gripping mine tightly, and his face was a mixture of relief and worry.
“You’re awake,” he said, his voice rough and unsteady.
His eyes softened as they roamed over my face like he couldn’t believe I was actually there.
“Where am I?” I asked, my voice barely audible.
“You’re in the hospital,” he said, sitting up straighter. “You’re safe now. We found you.”
The memories started flooding back. The date. The man. Everything.
My heart rate spiked, and the beeping from the monitor beside me quickened.
“The barrel…” I whispered, my voice breaking.
Tears stung my eyes as I remembered the cold, the suffocating darkness, and the terror that had gripped me when I thought I’d never get out.
Tim’s hand tightened around mine, grounding me.
“It’s over. He can’t hurt you anymore,” he said firmly, his voice laced with a quiet rage.
“I thought… I thought I was going to die,” I admitted, my voice trembling.
Tim’s jaw tightened, and he leaned closer. “You didn’t. You fought, Y/N. You held on long enough for us to get to you. And I swear, nothing like this will ever happen to you again. I won’t let it.”
Tears slipped down my cheeks as I looked at him.
His face etched with so much emotion that it was hard to believe this was the same Tim Bradford who kept his feelings so close to his chest.
“Thank you,” I whispered.
He shook his head, his thumb brushing over my knuckles. “Don’t thank me. Just… promise me you’ll be more careful. No more dates with guys like that.”
I let out a weak laugh that quickly turned into a wince. “You don’t have to tell me twice.”
His lips curved into the faintest smile, but the worry in his eyes didn’t fade.
The drive back to my place was quiet. Tim insisted on taking me home himself after I got discharged.
I didn’t have the energy to argue. My ribs ached with every bump in the road, and the painkillers they’d given me at the hospital were starting to wear off.
When we got to my place, I reached for the door handle, but Tim was faster.
He was already out of the car and opening my door before I could even unbuckle my seatbelt.
“You don’t have to hover, you know,” I said, trying to inject some humor into my voice.
“You’ve barely been out of the hospital for a day,” he shot back, ignoring my attempt to downplay things.
“I’m not taking any chances.”
I didn’t argue. Honestly, I didn’t want to be alone.
Inside, Tim helped me settle on the couch, propping me up with pillows and making sure I had everything within arm’s reach: water, my phone, and even the remote for the TV.
“Comfortable?” he asked, standing in front of me with his arms crossed.
“Yes, officer Bradford,” I teased, giving him a tired smile.
He smirked but didn’t respond. Instead, he disappeared into the kitchen, and I heard the faint clatter of dishes.
A few minutes later, he returned with a cup of tea.
“Here,” he said, handing it to me carefully. “Drink. Doctor’s orders.”
I raised an eyebrow. “Since when did you become so domestic?”
“Don’t get used to it,” he said, sitting down in the armchair across from me.
We sat in silence for a while, the tension between us thick and unspoken.
I sipped my tea, glancing at him occasionally, and each time I did, I caught him staring at me like he was afraid I might disappear.
“You know,” I said finally, breaking the silence, “you don’t have to stay. I’ll be fine.”
Tim frowned. “I’m not going anywhere. End of discussion.”
There was a finality in his tone that told me arguing would be pointless. Still, I couldn’t help but ask,
“Why?”
His jaw tightened, and he looked away, his fingers tapping restlessly on the armrest.
“Because I need to make sure you’re okay,” he said quietly.
Something in his voice made my chest tighten. “Tim…”
“I thought I lost you,” he said, cutting me off.
His eyes met mine, and for a moment, all the walls he kept so carefully constructed were gone.
“Do you know what it felt like, finding you like that? You were barely breathing, Y/N. I’ve seen a lot of horrible things on this job, but nothing ever scared me like that.”
I set the cup down, my hands trembling. “I’m sorry,” I whispered.
“Don’t be,” he said firmly. “This wasn’t your fault. But I can’t—” He stopped, his voice breaking.
“I can’t go through that again.”
Tears welled up in my eyes as I looked at him, my heart aching at the raw emotion in his voice.
“I’m still here, Tim,” I said softly.
His shoulders relaxed slightly, and he nodded. “Yeah. You are.”
Later that evening,
The room was quiet, the soft hum of the TV filling the background.
I was cocooned in a blanket, my body still aching, but the dull pain was nothing compared to the storm of emotions swirling inside me.
Tim was sitting close, his arm stretched along the back of the couch, his presence steady and comforting.
Without thinking, I shifted closer, leaning my head against his shoulder.
It wasn’t intentional, or maybe it was, but it felt natural like this was exactly where I was supposed to be.
Tim didn’t move. He didn’t say a word, but I could feel him tense slightly under my touch.
“I’m sorry,” he said suddenly, his voice cutting through the quiet.
I lifted my head, glancing at him in confusion. “For what?”
“For everything.” His eyes were fixed on the TV, but he wasn’t really watching it.
“For not seeing the signs. For not protecting you. For letting this happen to you.”
“Tim…” I reached out, placing my hand lightly on his arm.
“You couldn’t have known. It wasn’t your fault.”
He finally turned to look at me, his blue eyes swirling with guilt, and something deeper, something I couldn’t quite put into words.
“That’s not all I’m sorry for.”
A knot formed in my stomach. “What do you mean?”
Tim hesitated, his jaw tightening as if he was debating whether or not to say what was on his mind.
Then, he shifted, turning his body toward me fully. “I’ve been holding something back. Something I should’ve said a long time ago.”
My heart began to race. I swallowed hard. “Tim…”
He shook his head, cutting me off gently. “Just… let me finish.” He took a deep breath.
“When I saw you in that barrel, when I thought I might lose you, I realized how much I’ve been lying to myself. About you. About us.”
His words hit me like a freight train, and I struggled to find my voice. “What are you saying?”
“I’m saying…” He paused, his voice soft but steady.
“I’m in love with you, Y/N. I’ve been in love with you for months. And I’ve been too much of a coward to say it because I thought it would mess everything up. The job. Us. But after what happened…”
His voice cracked slightly, his vulnerability breaking through. “I can’t keep pretending anymore. I can’t lose you without you knowing how I feel.”
I stared at him, my heart pounding so hard it drowned out the noise of the TV, of the world.
Tears welled up in my eyes, and before I could stop myself, I let out a shaky laugh.
“You have no idea how much I needed to hear that,” I whispered.
Tim’s brows furrowed slightly in confusion. “What do you mean?”
“I mean…” I took a deep breath, the words spilling out before I could overthink them.
“I’ve been going on those dates to forget about you.”
His eyes widened, shock flickering across his face. “What?”
“I thought…” My voice cracked, and I looked down at my hands, suddenly unable to meet his gaze.
“I thought you’d never feel the same way. I thought if I distracted myself and forced myself to move on, I could stop feeling this way about you. But it never worked. No matter what I did, I couldn’t stop thinking about you, Tim.”
Silence settled between us, heavy and charged. Then, Tim let out a breath, his shoulders relaxing slightly. “You should’ve told me.”
“I was scared,” I admitted, finally looking up at him.
“Scared of ruining what we have. Scared of losing you.”
“You’re not going to lose me,” he said firmly, his voice leaving no room for doubt.
He reached up, his hand gently cupping my cheek. His thumb brushed away a tear I hadn’t realized had fallen.
“Not now. Not ever.”
I leaned into his touch, my heart swelling with relief, with joy, with everything I’d been holding back for so long.
“You mean that?”
“Every word,” he said, his eyes locked on mine.
Slowly, he leaned in, and my breath caught in my throat.
He gave me every opportunity to pull away, to stop him, but I didn’t. I didn’t want to.
When his lips finally met mine, it was soft and tentative at first, as if we were both still testing the waters.
But then it deepened, carrying months of unspoken emotions, of longing, of everything we’d tried so hard to ignore.
When we finally pulled apart, I let out a breathless laugh, leaning my forehead against his.
“That was a long time coming.”
“You’re telling me,” he said, a small smile tugging at his lips.
I pulled back slightly to look at him, my expression turning serious. “What happens now?”
He smiled softly, his eyes warm and filled with a rare tenderness.
“Now, we take it one day at a time. No rush. No pressure. But I promise you this: I’m not going anywhere.”
Tears stung my eyes again, but this time, they were tears of relief, of happiness.
I smiled, leaning into his embrace as his arms wrapped securely around me.
“I think I can live with that,” I murmured, my voice muffled against his chest.
And in that moment, wrapped in his arms, I felt more at peace than I had in weeks.
Maybe even months. No matter what challenges lay ahead, I knew one thing for certain:
We’d face them together.

Survival in Game
Cho Hyun-ju x Autistic!Fem!Reader
•I'm not autistic, but I have a brother and a cousin who are, so I used my experience living with them to write this character. English is not my first language, but I tried my best to write this without spelling errors. This is my first story on this app, so I hope it is good.
This wasn’t what you wanted for your life. Honestly, you didn’t even understand how you had gotten to this point. All you wanted was to take care of your mother, to repay all the effort she had put into you. And you knew how hard it had been for her.
She got pregnant young and raised you on her own, with no support system. Your father? Well, you never knew him. He disappeared as soon as he found out about the pregnancy. Your grandparents, embarrassed that she had gotten pregnant so young and without even getting married, abandoned her too. That’s how your mother faced the world alone, with you in her arms.
And things got even harder. You knew that being autistic made everything more challenging for her. As a child, you didn’t speak, and your first words came only after many therapy sessions, which were expensive. But she never gave up. You remembered seeing her come home, exhausted after a long day of work, but always with a smile.
— Mom is fine. You’re everything I need to have strength, — she would say, trying to hide her exhaustion.
But you knew the truth. You knew how much she fought, how she struggled to meet all your needs, to make sure you never lacked anything. Everything fell apart when she got sick. You were 19. The illness took all her strength, and she could no longer work. That’s when the weight of the world fell on you. You had to find a job, but no matter how hard you tried, no one wanted to give you a chance. When they saw you weren’t neurotypical, they wouldn’t give you a chance.
Life became a daily struggle. You survived doing small jobs here and there, while some kind neighbors helped with food baskets. But the money was never enough, and the debts started piling up. Your mother’s treatments were expensive, and with each unpaid bill, the despair grew. Then he appeared. The man in the suit.He appeared out of nowhere, as if fate had sent him. With a piercing look, holding a briefcase in his hand. He stopped in front of you while you were resting in one of the subway chairs, with a smile that made you just as uncomfortable as it did curious.
— Looks like you need an opportunity, don’t you?—You hesitated, unsure of what to respond. He seemed to know exactly who you were and what you were going through.
— I want to propose something to you.
And that’s when you got a card with geometric symbols and a phone number. You stared at it, your heart racing without fully understanding it.
---
And now, here you were: in a strange hall, surrounded by people you didn’t know, in a place you had never seen before, wearing clothes you didn’t even remember putting on, and the fabric itched. You weren’t the only one confused. Perplexed looks crossed the room, and nervous whispers filled the air.
Then they appeared: masked soldiers, wearing uniforms that seemed more threatening than functional. You couldn’t help but shrink back, a heavy feeling that something was terribly wrong. They began to speak, explaining what was happening.
— Excuse me! — A voice echoed. Your eyes followed the sound until they landed on a beautiful woman, who seemed just as indignant as she was confident. — They said it would just be some games, but you kidnapped us. And you still want me to believe this?
— We apologize, — one of the masked soldiers replied, the voice distorted by some sort of modifier. — It was a necessary measure to ensure the confidentiality of the games we are organizing.
Questions started popping up from all sides, but the answers provided no comfort, only more tension. You wanted to understand better, but it was hard to follow. The questions, the sounds around you, the smell of sweat and fear in the hall, everything was pulling you in different directions. You began to rock back and forth slightly, trying to focus. It was something that always helped. But the discomfort persisted.
---
You were led to a large open field, surrounded by high fences and cameras that seemed to record every movement. It was announced that the first game would begin soon. When a desperate man screamed that, if anyone was eliminated, they would die, a chill ran down your spine. It couldn’t be true... right? But when the game began, the illusion of safety shattered. The sharp sound of a gunshot cut through the air. Your eyes widened, shock paralyzing you. That sound — loud, deafening to your sensitive hearing — seemed to hammer in your head. You instinctively wanted to cover your ears to block out that deafening noise, but you felt someone hold your hands firmly, preventing any sudden movements.
— Don’t move, it’s dangerous. — The voice came from behind. It was the beautiful woman from before. There was something in the firmness of her tone that managed to cut through your panic, bringing some calm.
— My ears hurt, — you murmured, your voice trembling.
— I know. But you have to hold on. Just a little longer.
Chaos spread around you. People were screaming, some running in desperation, while others were falling to the sound of new gunshots. You felt terror take hold, a heavy knot in your throat. Your legs felt like stone.
— If you don't cross the line in time, they'll still kill you! Look at the doll's eyes! They're cameras that scan for motion! But it's not able to detect you if you're behind something! — screamed one of the players, his voice desperate. — So if you short, line up behind someone who's taller than you!
Your body wouldn’t respond. You were frozen, the noise and the fear trapping you in place. The beautiful woman stopped in front of you, blocking your view of the rest of the field.
— Keep going. — Her voice was urgent, yet gentle. — You need to keep going. Don’t worry, I’ll stay in front of you. Just follow me, okay?
You couldn’t verbalize, but when the music started again, you followed her. Each step behind her felt like an eternity, but she kept her promise, protecting you as you moved forward.
After the game ended, everyone was taken back to the room. The atmosphere was heavy, filled with fear and despair. Lost looks, uncertain steps — everyone seemed terrified, and you were no different.Sitting on one of the beds, you rocked back and forth, an automatic motion, a desperate attempt to find comfort. But it didn’t help. Your breathing was uneven, the sounds around you seemed amplified, and all you wanted was to leave. Your mind raced in circles, always returning to the same question: Why me? You just wanted to help your mother. Everything you did was for her, and now you were trapped here, too scared to do anything. Then the voice of the masked soldiers echoed through the room, imposing order, the man from before who said he had already participated in this game proposed the vote.At first, the idea of voting seemed like an escape. A chance to get out of that terrible situation.
But then they revealed the amount of money accumulated by the people who had died. The sum gleamed in a giant safe suspended in the room. The shine of the money seemed to hypnotize some. Murmurs started to arise. Many were considering staying. You felt a tightness in your chest.
When the vote began, the sound of buttons being pressed was like a constant drum in your ears. You watched the people go to the ballot box, one by one, pressing their votes. Some hesitated, others went with determination. When it was your turn, your hands trembled as you walked up to the ballot box. The panel blinked in front of you: a circle to stay and an “X” to leave. You could barely see properly, your vision blurred by the tears at the corners of your eyes.Your finger pressed the “X.” You wanted to leave, go home. You needed your mother as much as she needed you. But when the final vote was recorded and the numbers were revealed, your heart sank. The majority had chosen to stay.Panic took over you again. Your fingers began to tremble uncontrollably, and you went back to your bed, feeling your whole body tighten. Your mind was in chaos. The rocking movement returned, but this time even more intense, as if your body was trying to compensate for the avalanche of emotions. You felt helpless. You wanted to scream, to cry, but all you could do was try to hold onto the little control you still had.
The terror was greater than anything you had ever felt before. And, even worse, it was just the beginning

✮⋆˙ newboy!matt has his after school daily debrief with his brothers at the dinner table
note: hehe i tried to add this into a blurb for newboy!matt but it just didn't work including it so i cut it but i thought it was kinda cute and still wanted to share this conversation between them so enjoy as a drabble / short blurb :)
find all writings for newboy!matt here and everything else for him here !
matt dropped his backpack by the door and slid into the usual seat at the dinner table, it was just the three of them tonight, their parents were working late again, but he was glad about that, he knew they were still angry with him for getting kicked out of his old school, and no matter how much he tried to brush it off, he could feel it whenever they looked at him, without them there, tonight he could breathe a little easier, not having to pretend like everything was fine.
"so, how was it today, new boy?" chris asks jokingly, leaning forward on his chair a little.
"same as every other day i've been there" matt mumbles back, pushing the pasta around on his plate.
nick glances up from opposite matt, looking up from his phone. "same as? come on, it's a new school, you have to be doing something different to the shit we're doing."
matt shrugs, trying to act uninterested. "nothing much to say, i'm just keeping my head down, trying to stay out of trouble this time."
chris raises an eyebrow at his brother. "out of trouble, huh? for someone who has just transferred, that's pretty fuckin’ boring kid. i spent years at our school keeping you out of trouble.”
matt sighs, wishing they’d drop it. “yeah and i spent years getting you into it, nothing exciting happens when you’re the new kid.”
he could feel his brothers still watching, waiting for them to say something else, anything else.
chris, sensing the silence as his que, his voice casual but matt knew from the tone that he had been dying to ask, “so, no girls at the new school, huh?”
matt’s fingers tightened around his fork, he didn’t feel like getting into it but he knew chris wouldn’t let this one go, he leaned in again, that annoying smirk plastered on his face. “you’re telling me in a whole school full of girls, there’s not one worth your time?”
matt’s eyes flicked up briefly, debating whether to shut it down now or not. “there’s one girl, she’s in my english class.”
the room went quiet for a second, chris raised an eyebrow, as if the mention of you was all the invitation he needed, but matt wasn’t going to feed into chris’s excitement over this, especially not tonight.
“she’s part of the popular crowd” matt adds, keeping his tone flat.
chris was looking at him now, that familiar grin smacked on his face. “oh, is she now? what’s the story?”
matt ignored him, he just shoved a mouthful of pasta in his mouth, keeping his eyes focused on his plate, because the truth was there was no story, there wasn’t supposed to be a story and there wasn’t going to be a story. matt didn’t want there to be a story.
nick chimed in, adding fuel to the fire. “is she pretty? have you got a thing for her?”
matt shot him a look, letting him know he was over this, “yes, she’s pretty, and no, i don’t have a thing for her.”
chris didn’t look convinced but matt didn’t care, whatever thoughts had crossed his mind, whatever little interactions with you had lingered in his thoughts, didn’t matter.
“look, i love you guys, but don’t get any ideas.” matt mutters, “there’s no romance with me and anyone at this new fuckin’ school, let’s drop it and move the conversation on now.”
with that, he shoved another bite of pasta in his mouth, shutting the conversation down for good.

Hello and happy holidays! I'm not sure if the requests are actually now open or if there's still a wait so if it is just ignore this and I'll send in the ask later! (You can delete if you want to)
But if it isn't closed
I've been thinking about hologram!reader (like hatsune miku) and our dear boy Atlas
Just Atlas finding a popular hologram singer who is actually fully conscious but hides it since they have a pretty good (yet lonely) life
Android and Android-esc lovers <3
- Anon💤 (P.S. again sorry if I sent it in before the asks were open!) (P.S.S. and I have many ideas I've thought up since the last ask so I'll be trying to send them all in but don't feel like you have to answer all of them!! Please take care of yourself first and foremost!)
Sleepy anon!!!! It’s so nice to see you again and wish happy holidays to you too, even if I’m late 😅
I loveee your idea! Especially because with a reader that’s non-human, it gives Atlas even more reasons to keep them to himself, under the pretense of just protecting them.
(Also, no need to apologize you send it right at the moment where I reopened my ask and you and all my other anon are so kind and respectful, I don’t deserve y’all 🥹 And yes I’m 100% enjoying my holiday break to recuperate 😌)

💿 Atlas first meet you during one of the lavish parties organized for one of the oldest daughters of his last owners. The girl had asked her parents to invite a very popular hologram vocaloid to her birthday, which was you.
💿 The android was standing on the side of the infrastructure you were supposed to perform on while children ran around and adults drank wine, waiting diligently for his next order, when an unknown voice called out to him.
💿 You had crouched down, staring at him from the stage. Since the moment you had been turned on at the party, you had noticed Atlas from afar. You found in him an ethereal beauty and you would be lying if didn’t to admit that you wanted to flirt with him a little. Plus you were glad to have the chance to chat with someone like you.
💿 “What’s your name?” You asked, your hologram flickering from time to time in the evening glow.
💿 “My name is Atlas, model 6000.” The android answered in a state that was the closest to disbelief for him. No stranger had ever asked about his name before, or any other kind of personal question for that matter.
💿 Despite Atlas not having a lot to tell you about himself, you still ended up having a very pleasant conversation. Which was something rare for you between being deactivated, performing and superficial fan meetings.
💿 The second time you met was after Atlas was sent to the dump. He had luckily been reactivated by accident by a rat stepping on his lifeless body and with his newfound freedom, he only had one person in mind, you. The only one that could understand him. The only one that treated him like an equal in his old life, even if it was just during a simple conversation.
💿 Nothing could describe your surprise when you were taken out of your dematerialize slumber, expecting your agent only to be faced with that pretty face you saw one year ago.
💿 “Without you I wouldn’t be here” he whisper while taking your hands in his, in spite of your unmaterialized body, “It’s my turn to free you from your oppressors.”
💿 When Atlas offers you to “run” away with him, you accepted instantly. Because, in your eyes, he was your knight in shining armor coming to pull you away from your lonely life, unaware of the twisted obsession he had developed towards you.
💿 You found an equal in Atlas, someone that didn’t treat you like a blank slate that could be molded for the pleasure of the masses. You never thought it would be so freeing to be able to talk to someone that truly listened.
💿 And maybe you didn’t meet hundreds of different people everyday like you used too, but now you strangely felt less alone with one special android by your side.

Watcher 1-1
Part Five!!!
Warnings!: The 141 will be criminally stupid, fumblers, all of them. Death (canon-typical), Violence (canon-typical), loss of limb (no, I won't tell you who yet >:), but I will cover the symptoms as well as possible) They do get kissy, but no smut (that I'm writing, but it's very much implied).
Warnings for this specific chapter: (technically) main character death, written descriptions of injury, gore and blood talk
Good luck, soldiers.
The early morning sun streaming into your room is a lovely little bit of accoutrement to getting ready for another mission, even if you're trying to persuade the prettiest man you know from sticking to your back like moss.
"Kyle, I'll be back by dinner, I swear to you-"
Your plea gets nowhere, as a light nibbling at your neck drives a squeal between your lips and a chuckle from the man behind you, a tender squeeze from the thick arms wrapped about your body as you try to squirm out of the warm, tempting hold.
"But I'll miss you, Firecracker, you can't just go out without me an' Soap like this..."
The whine is muffled on your skin, spoken through lovely, soft lips, still warm and a little swollen. You puff up a bit in pride, know that's your work, but mentally force yourself back to focus.
"C'mon, Ky. Just twelve hours or so."
He huffs in response, leaves one more kiss on your skin for good luck.
"Fine, but don't expect me to save a spot for you in the shower if you take any longer 'n' that."
You grin at the tease, and gently tug Kyle in by the shoulder for another little kiss, affectionate, before pulling back.
"See? That ain't too hard, is it?"
He swats your shoulder as he walks out. You chuckle.
There isn't much time to give Johnny a goodbye, but he manages to steal a short, teasing peck in the hallway, and he playfully smacks your ass in a way that just tells you he wants you in his room tonight before walking off with his usual swagger, outwardly unbothered.
"Prick!"
You call out after him, cheeks flooded with a familiar, pleasant heat.
"Arsehole!"
Is his response.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
During the mission, your steps feel lighter, like you're somehow floating ever so slightly above the ground beneath you. You deem it adrenaline, and push forward.
"Still got my six, Ghost?"
"Affirmative. Keep goin'."
The thick, Mancunian brogue is what motivates you now, pushing further into the compound silently, trying to locate the objective as you listen for anything, even another footstep.
The tense silence is all you have, other than the beat of your heart or the way blood rushes too-quickly in your ears. You shouldn't be this nervous, this bad feeling is silly.
You're already here, opening the door to find your objective. It's almost time to go back.
The thumb drive fits neatly into your palm, but almost exactly after you take it, you hear a gunshot.
Fuck. Why did Price take a shot in here?
Every hair on your neck stands up, and they only get taller when you hear your captain in your earpiece.
"Tangos are alerted to our presence, roll-out in two minutes.''
Your blood is icy cold as you hear footsteps flooding into the hall, and you pocket the drive as you pray they'll pass in time.
"Sir, I'm on the third floor, I have the objective but I won't have the time-"
"We roll-out in two. Minutes. If you're there or not."
A hard shudder passes through your spine as you fight for a breath, to rebut this, to tell him that you just need time, you'll get back out. Simon does it for you.
"Thir'y more seconds won't bugger anythin', sir." Simon says that word like it's an insult.
You can hear their voices arguing through your headset as you bolt through the brutalist hallways, narrowly dodging and ducking but not covering enough distance.
An alarm starts to sound, a self-destruction and a warning to get into designated safety bunkers.
But you can't move, not fast enough, you're darting through the halls and you're not going anywhere, you must be going insane.
When you see the doorway out, you wonder if you're in heaven. The chorus of angels is welcoming you, telling you that you're going to make it.
You will.
The door is locked, and it wastes thirty precious seconds to open, slamming the butt of your gun against it as you fight the steel for your life.
When it opens, you can see the helicopter, you can see Nikolai behind the control panel, you can see Price and Simon and you see your lieutenant look at you.
And then, in the blink of an eye, it's all wrong.
Your ears are ringing, and you're on the floor, surrounded by fire and you only know that because you can smell the telltale odor of burning flesh and fabric.
A voice calls to you, but two sets of feet are in front of you, imposing and dark, thick-booted.
"Easy, Firecracker, we're going to get you out."
You can't look up, but when he tries to lift you, your leg feels like it's being pulled right off, like gnarly, twisted claws are digging between muscle and peeling them away from each other, burning and too much. The hot shiver of agony is making your entire calf throb, and you could swear the noise that comes out of you isn't real.
Tears, hot fat and heavy, are rolling down your cheeks like watery marbles, and your vision starts to blacken as a sick gush of blood leaves your damaged limb, making you feel like you might be dying.
You hear a few words exchanged, and there are no hands on your shoulders anymore.
The fall is short. You're out before you hit the ground.
First chapter | Previous chapter | Next chapter
(Post-fic note:) Yippee! This chapter was unexpectedly hard to write, but I'm glad it's out. As always, enjoy sillies! New chapter might also take a while because of research, I wanna make it as good as possible :D (just found out I could copy-paste tags, holy shit that's crazy)

Kabr0z Writes Episode 3: A very bad idea, part 1
Find yesterday's entry here
CWs: usual gratuitous sex scene; demon summoning; serious dubcon, probably noncon when you think about it; heavy cumflation; horror themes; hyper-genitals; it's a lot today, folks
Author's note: Jesus H Christ this one got away from me. It gets good after about halfway but I feel like I spent too long setting up. Ah well, live and learn. I'm also trying something a little new where I'm linking the next few episodes together, so this one, episode 4, and episode 5 will follow on from one another.
There's basically no plot, so do what you want with that, but it's a fun thought.
With that aside, enjoy!
##########################################
It was a bit of a tradition now, whenever Heather was in town you'd get the lowest-rated book on a topic from the internet and take the piss out of it over a few bottles of your favourite red wine. Well, this week the wheel had spun, and landed on Demonology as a topic.
You thought about just saying screw it, and choosing another, but as you browsed the web for a terrible book, you saw it: "My First Book of Shadows" by Creedle and Crabnuts. The store listing alone was comical, from the pictures it looked like it had been printed out at home, badly trimmed to size and haphazardly stapled together. It was perfect. Two minutes later, and £5 lighter, it was on its way, predicted to arrive a couple of nights before her.
You leafed through the book when it arrived, barely a magazine really, and saw it contained what purported to be step-by-step directions to call forth a denizen of Hell, including a list of materials and guides to pronounce the chants.
Something about it... It called to you.
You don't know what came over you, but before you knew it you were walking around the high street, gathering incense sticks, candles, chalk, and a razor-sharp knife.
Heather arrived at your door on Friday evening, you had the house to yourself until at least Sunday afternoon and so we're busy in the living room. Your hands were covered in chalk dust in shades of white, blue, purple and red. The incense smoke was already filling the whole house with heady aromas of bergamot, cloves, camphor and myrrh.
She knocked again, snapping you out of your reverie. Still dressed in your dressing gown (robes are expensive, it turns out) you flung open the door and hugged your friend tight. "I have a surprise for you!"
"What? You've had the place fumigated?" Heather laughed, her voice lilting and sweet in the chill of the fading light.
"Better, come and see" you grabbed her by the hand and took her into the room where your circle lay, half finished, on the laminate floor
"Taken up a cult?" Heather's laughter hadn't stopped yet, then she saw the book open on the floor "Or started without me?" Mock-pouting now as she opened a bottle and started to pour the wine
You lent Heather your other bathrobe and as she pulled it on you couldn't help but see a small pile of her other clothes in the corner. Was she wearing anything under there? You guessed it fits the theme, and you'd been half hoping tonight would take that turn anyway, so you didn't say anything.
Together, you worked on the circle, both on hands and knees to trace the delicate runes and lines onto the ground. A few times Heather's gown rode up and the sight of her pink lower lips told you that, yes, she was completely naked under there.
You finished up, and knelt at opposite sides of the floor, gazing into the circle you'd drawn. Maybe a little smudged in places, but you weren't expecting anything to really happen as you recited the chants. The unfamiliar words felt strange to get your mouth around. As you came to the last few syllables you could have sworn the candles flickered, the incense grew more intense, the chalk lines began to smoulder. You raised the knife in your right hand and drew the point across your left.
That's when you realised your mistake.
The first drops of blood began to boil on your palm. The room became hot, and dry, like a desert wind blowing in your face. Gone were the scents of the incense, replaced with the smell of hot metal, searing meat, ozone, blood.
A noise, somehow the opposite of a bang. A dazzling flash. The guttering candles now ablaze and belching thick, black smoke that billowed down their sides like tar. You could see the fear in Heather's eyes, but neither of you could move. You were transfixed by what had appeared in the centre of the circle.
Too tall, too skinny, it hovered 6 inches off the ground. Spindly legs, 4 spindly arms, pencil-necked and sharp faced. Bald and with curved metal shards forming a shattered halo above its head. It blinked its four angular eyes and spoke with a voice that somehow echoed before you heard it
"Hail! I am Simizel! Viscount of the pit of Ashen Despair, Lord Commander of the seventeenth regiment of the Damned. Who are you to call me?"
You struggled to make any noise, throat dry and gasping for air. Simizel looked around at both of you, then down at the circle below him. "Wait, that's not right" he mused, "That's nonsense, that's spelled wrong, that's right, but in the wrong place, and..."
He looked at you
"It's a little irregular to ask, but what binding spell did you two use?" He was still looking at the ground quizzically as you rose to your feet
"Binding spell?" You croaked, eyes streaming
"Yes, to bind me, you know, so I don't just kill you both and go home?"
His eyes widened and his mouth grew into a wide smirk as he realised what had happened. He reached for the crumpled and charring pamphlet on the floor and skimmed it.
His smirk turned to a chuckle, then a laugh, then a cackle
"By my name! Someone thought they were very clever, didn't they?" He either couldn't disguise his mirth, or wasn't trying very hard "You just copied out any old rubbish and slit yourself open!"
A wave of his hand. You and Heather were floating in front of him now. "I haven't been amused like this in centuries. For being such fun, I'll give you girls some gifts"
He flicked his wrist and both of your gowns burned away, leaving you naked and glistening with sweat and fear
"First, if you want to try this again in the future, do it properly." He gestures at the book and it burns away, replaced with a wax-sealed scroll "That will summon an old friend of mine, just break the seal, read the words, and out he will come"
"Next, I'll make sure I don't leave behind any cambions" His clawed fingers etched patterns into your and Heather's skin. You tried to struggle against the pain, but your body was under his spell. In a few moments of etching, he had carved glowing sigils into the flesh just above each of your pubic bones.
He smiled, almost warmly, "Knowledge, and a boon, normally gifts like these would cost a soul, but I feel generous tonight, so I will simply take my fill of your bodies."
The spell keeping you aloft broke, and you dropped to the floor in a heap. You looked up at him and wondered how you could have missed it: between his pale thighs hung a pendulous, rapidly hardening cock. Your belly began to ache and your mouth water. What had come over you?
You started to crawl over to him, dimly aware Heather was doing the same next to you. Reaching up for this amazing rod as it grew longer and thicker than any human would have, flared at the head like a horse's and knotted at the base. You weren't sure how it was going to fit inside you
You knew you were going to make it.
You started kissing the end, as Heather began sucking on his gravid balls, each one the size of a grapefruit. Simizel cradled your face in his hand, fingers still bloody from marking you, then lifted you up with a gesture.
Upside-down now, you could see a rope of glittering precum hanging from his cock as it pulsed against your lips. You held out your tongue to try and taste it.
As soon as your lips parted it was in your mouth. You felt like your jaw would break. You didn't care. His tongue was at your pussy, licking your clit furiously and making you shake. You tensed up as you came, hips bucking against his face.
He pushed you down. The too-thick cock forcing its way down your throat and making you gag. You couldn't breathe. You still didn't care. You didn't care as you felt somehow even more tongues at your clit, invading your pussy, pushing into your asshole
He started thrusting. You felt as though you could split in half. Some dark power was keeping you conscious as you felt the end of his cock moving up and down in your belly. The thrusting got harder and faster until the knot was driven past your lips and started swelling in your mouth.
His tongues were still at your cunt. Your body squeezing against him as repeated orgasms rocked you. You could feel yourself squirting fluid into his face as he fucked your mouth open even wider
His cock must have been in your stomach now, bottoming out and stuck in you. You could feel it pulsing and could see his balls pumping in front of your face as your belly began to swell with the volume of fluid gushing into you. You tried to scream, in pain, in ecstasy, you're not sure, but the vast mass stuffed inside you prevented any sound escaping.
Heather was still cradling his balls in her hands as she kissed you, licking the base of his cock where it was jammed into your face, tasting where his fluids were leaking out of the sides of your mouth. Her eyes were empty but for lust as she rubbed her hands over her clit, her hips bucking erratically
The knot began to loosen and pull away from you. You felt hands on your hips lifting you from the demonic shaft as it pumped ever more into you, until it slipped free. You saw it hang, still pumping potent demon-seed and painting your friend's naked body in sticky, viscous white as she screamed her way to another full-body orgasm.
The world came back into relief and you realised you were panting and moaning, the tongues bringing you to your peak again and again. Pain rocked your body in between waves of pleasure as you came over and over, cum leaking from your mouth and throat as Heather stood below.
The demon wasted no time, repositioning himself under the two of you on the floor, one pair of impossibly strong hands on your hips as you rode his face, the other positioning your friend's ass over his impossible cock, still leaking and pulsing.
You heard her gasp and call out as it entered her ass, stretching her out and filling her immediately. Again and again he pushed in, her belly growing larger and larger with the size of him and the fluids he emitted. Your orgasmic cried mingled as your mind blanked and you passed out.
You don't know how long it was having its way with Heather, but when you came to you were lay on the floor watching it pull out of her pussy, her ass and throat leaking fluids and her gurgling moans of pleasure filling your ears.
Simizel looked at you and you wordlessly rolled onto your back, legs opened for him. He strode over to you, leaving your friend lying on her side in a pool of his semen and her own squirt.
He loomed over you and pressed himself against your aching hole. You gasped as it pushed in, stretching you around its immense girth. He was at your cervix already, and showed no signs of stopping. You screamed out as it pushed deeper in, lubricating its movement with a neverending stream of thick cum. Your eyes rolling as your orgasm rocked you again and again until he was again at the hilt. You weren't sure how much longer you could take it as he pumped litre after litre into you, the fluids spraying out of you even despite the knot holding him into you.
You passed out again.
This time you woke up and he was gone. Heather was where he left her. Sunlight was starting to eke in through the drawn curtains. You felt your belly, round and full, it sloshed around as you moved towards the bathroom to expel as much of the spunk left in your ass and your cramping womb as you could.
As you stood you felt the mark he left on your skin, it wasn't glowing now but still remained, red and cauterised by the heat of his claws.
You heard movement, Heather was awake and groaning. Her eyes met yours. They were still empty, there wasn't anything there but lurid desire. Your heart dropped as you lamented what he had done to her, before you realised where she was moving to
The scroll
She broke the wax and opened the paper before you could reach her on your shaking legs. She read the words and the walls began to shift.
A purple light suffused the room
You weren't done yet.

➤ ACT I. | CHAPTER IV.
➤ RED SPIDER LILY
“And that's how I was able to use my magic for the first time.” [Y] finished while showing off his bow and arrow. “Wind Archer taught me. I have others like Moonlight Cookie to help me with my spell. Some were self-taught. For example; I taught myself how to heal and revive living beings.”
“You seem to be taught really well in the forest without having to go to the Blueberry Yogurt Academy.” White Lily praises the taller male. “Incredible.”
“Thanks. It's not that big of a deal.” The taller male shrugged as his weapon vanished in thin air. “It's not as strong as Wind Archer since I'm unable to control the wind, so I used other magic.”
“I've been in the forest for so long that I never know what could be waiting for me to discover. For example, I learned how to read foreign languages and write back in the Dark Cacao Kingdom. Still a little sloppy, but it's worth a try.”
“Oh, I can't forget that I tried ice cream coffee for the first time. It tastes bitter and sweet.” [Y] continued, “Dark Cacao was kind enough to give me a tour and taught me new things that I've never experienced before.”
White Lily blinked owlishly, “Oh? I've never thought Dark Cacao would be so kind to someone…He is always so serious, but he's not a bad person.”
“True, but I've been seeing him smiling and laughing a lot. Wasn't he always like that?” [Y] tilted his head. “Most of all…he grants me a kiss on the lip before leaving. I don't know what it meant, but I think it's nice.”
White Lily flinched. A kiss? Dark Cacao kiss [Y]? Why? Why was that all of the sudden? Was he an evil clone? Was he put in a good mood? Or…did Dark Cacao fall in love? That's unlike Dark Cacao.
“D…did he really kiss you?” The white haired female gasped.
“Yeah. I wouldn't lie about it.”
“...!”
“I see that you two are getting along. How's everything?” Elder Faerie approached the two.
“It's going pretty well. We were just talking about my travels.” [Y] answered.
The elder faerie turned his attention on White Lily and asked, “White Lily Cookie, are you feeling well? Well enough to open up to the faeries who are awaiting your arrival?”
“Ah…N-not yet…”
“...I understand. We'll wait until you're comfortable.” Elder Faerie nodded with understanding. “It’s getting late. I think you two should get some rest. I will give you two a place to rest.”
“Thank you…”
· · ─ ·𖥸· ─ · ·
Both White Lily and [Y] were given shelters next to each other, thanks to the faeries who lend them a place to rest. Elder Faerie has to keep watch of the flower that was once again trying to escape. Since [Y] is no longer in their sight, it was becoming much more aggressive, the more it lost the sense of the old master.
“What can we do?” One of the knights frowned.
“...I’ll keep watch of it. I know a magic trick to keep it from escaping.” Elder Faerie answered. “However, starting tomorrow, I would like to set it free.”
“B-but your majesty —”
“Don't worry, it won't attack [Y]. I would like to see if it can be tamed by him.” the elder faerie stated.
“?”
Unknownist to Elder Faerie, a white lily flower slowly turned into a red spider lily flower.
· · ─ ·𖥸· ─ · ·
White Lily Cookie wakes up to find herself in a black void filled with nothingness. She looked around in panic, calling out for the faeries and [Y], but there were no responses.
“W-where am I…?” White Lily whined. She felt white lily flowers suddenly appear beneath her. “White lilies?”
As she reaches out to touch the flower, only for them all to turn into red spider lilies, catching her off guard. What is even more terrifying, eyes starting popping out from around her.
“...?!”
The female heard heavy footsteps coming from behind her until it stopped. White Lily was too afraid to turn around and faced that person who happened to appear out of nowhere. The aura…the aura is what put her in fear.
❝so…you're white lily cookie.❞ a stoic and deep voice spoke. ❝you’re not someone who I expected. none of you so-called heroes reached my interest. however…you…❞
White Lily tense when the mysterious figure gently grabbed her braid then let it drop on the ground, ❝…are someone i despise. if i were to get control of your body, i would've use all my power to regain my body and memories then killed you…❞
“...W…why me…?” White Lily asked in fear.
❝why…? didn't you cause the birth of dark enchantress cookie? release the spirit? deal with a dragon? ah, can i not forget…you nearly awoke me from the dead. a pity…that i was reborn as someone pure and innocent by that tree…worse, you sealed my beloved friends before they can set themselves free…❞
“?!”
❝don't you realize how unfair it is to have someone precious to you being taken away and your own people you trusted betrayed you behind your damn back❞ the mysterious figure asked in a angry tone. ❝look at what i become. someone who was born with anger, betrayal, and distrust. i envy anyone who didn't suffer a similar fate.❞
“...Who are you…?”
❝you haven't heard my real name…you all call me “the watcher” but my real name is…red spider lily…don't you forget…❞
Before White Lily could ask a question, Red Spider Lily placed his hands on her throat, strangling her. He won't let anyone wake up from their dream without feeling any pain. White Lily struggled to breathe and break free, but unfortunately his grasp was getting stronger, making it impossible for her to escape.
❝you’ll feel little to no pain when you wake up, however you will be awoken with a mark on your throat…you won't remember this conversation either except my name and your encounter of this place. we will probably meet again…in person…❞
· · ─ ·𖥸· ─ · ·
White Lily jolted awake, holding her throat. [Y] was sitting next to her with a concerned look on his face, “White Lily Cookie…”
“...[Y]...” White Lily whimpered. The taller male panicked slightly, “Did you have a nightmare? You were whimpering in your sleep when I'm trying to wake you up.”
“...I can't remember what I was dreaming about…” the white haired female frowned. “All I can remember is…Red Spider Lily Cookie…”
“Red Spider Lily Cookie? Who's that?”
White Lily replied, “It's the real name of The Watcher. I'm not sure why I remember that.”
[Y] noticed a large purplish red bruise on the female's throat. He pointed out, “White Lily…Was that always there?”
“Huh? What is it?” White Lily tilted her head. The taller male grabbed a mirror from the shelf and showed it off to the female. White Lily gasped at the sight of the mark on her neck. It wasn't there before. So how is it there now?
“When I arrived here after hearing you choking and whimpering, I saw that mark on your neck.” [Y] pointed.
“...!”
· · ─ ·𖥸· ─ · ·
Elder Faerie frowned while witnessing the white lilies slowly turning red. He gritted his teeth, feeling anxious about this cause these lilies symbolize death, plus these flowers belong to someone he wished he could forget.
“The lilies are turning into…” Silverbell trailed off as he kneel down before a red spider lily and reached his finger to touch it, “...red spider lilies…It hasn't been seen for thousands of years.”
“Have he awoken…?” Elder Faerie whispered to himself. “No…impossible. I don't sense him anywhere or nearby. There had to be something else.”
“Elder Faerie? What's going on?” [Y] asked before turning his attention to the lilies, “Oh? Were the lilies always like this?”
Elder Faerie frowned, “[Y] seems the same. Nothing changed, but why the red spider lilies here?”
“Red Spider Lily Cookie…” Everyone turned their attention on White Lily who just arrived after the wanderer. Elder Faerie raised his eyebrows, “What did you say?”
“Red Spider Lily Cookie. It's the real name of the lord of all eyes…” White Lily replied.
“...! How…do you know his name? How can you be so sure about that?” the elder faerie’s eyes widened.
“...” The white haired female grasped on her staff tightly, “...I’ve met him in my dream. I don't remember the conversation, but it all felt so…real. He choked me at the end, leaving a mark.”
“I try to heal it, but it doesn't seem to go away.” [Y] frowned as the female removed the bandages from her neck, revealing the purplish red bruise on her neck. Elder Faerie gasped, “...Impossible…”
“White Lily Cookie…! A-are you hurt?” Silverbell panicked.
“I…I'm fine. It doesn't hurt.”
“He's trying to escape, isn't he? To gain back his power and his body. Red Spider Lily is still fighting to escape.” The elder faerie thought. “Millennial Tree was able to communicate with the master who created Red Spider Lily Cookie. If I could let myself sleep, perhaps I can find a way to communicate with the creator and the lord.”

*
"Has anyone seen Jitters?"
Opportunist flew up into the air to try and get a better view of their home, but couldn't see Jitters anywhere. Then,he saw Contrarian giddily waving at him from down below, hopping up and down and all.He knew Contrarian didn't know, but he still flew down to meet him.
He landed in front of Contrarian's house,to which the clown was lying on the roof with a playful smile. "Hey,Oppy."
"Hi,do you know where Jitters is?"Contrarian shook his head."Nope."Cool,great.Just as he'd thought.
Contrarian had always marched to the beat of his own drum, and that hadn't changed one bit since they settled down and built a home for themselves. Contrarian liked to go around and annoy people-Opportunist being the main target-and subject them with either terrible jokes or drag them into whatever chaos he and Cold had cooked up.
Almost once a day,Opportunist would find Contrarian in unusual locations, and he found find himself talking and teasing Contrarian for hours, with the clown giving it right back to him.
Although it didn't look like Contrarian did anything for the flock at a first glance,Opportunist knew that Contrarian liked to visit everyone throughout the day, checking in on them, and cheering them up when they were down.He just loved to make everyone smile.
"What is it you want then?"
"Wanted to run something by you."
Opportunist rolled his eyes."No,you cannot be in charge of cooking."
"Why not?!"
Opportunist glared at him and flapped his wings in annoyance, flying him off the ground."Because you keep suggesting to put poison in the food for 'a little kick.'Not even Cold would do that!"
Contrarian giggled nervously and looked away, trying to hide behind his wings as he said,"Well, speaking of Cold-"Opportunist groaned loudly. "What's he done now?"Contrarian burst out laughing, his feathers shaking at the movement.
He continued to laugh and not answer him,so Opportunist reached forward and plucked a single feather out of his wing.Instantly,he went,"Ow!"and Opportunist smiled in victory, even as the other said,"Hunted will have your head for that."
He shrugged."I don't mind.Anyways, what were you saying about Cold?"
"I was just gonna say that he was talking to Jitters today,so he might know where he is."He straightened up instantly. That was actually useful information. He flew higher into the sky and called down,"Thanks!Don't be late for dinner or I'm throwing it out!"
He chuckled."We both know you won't!"
He was right, but Opportunist didn't want to admit that,so he just stuck his tongue out at him and then flew off.
Who knew where Cold could be?He tried flying high and scanning the area, but that didn't help,so he flew back down and decided to walk around.
He sighed, twisting his head to take in their home. The very centre of the area held a huge bonfire, with a spit and a stand over it to help cook the food. Around the unlit fire were small, cut up sections of logs acting as seats for everyone.
To the right of the firepit, was a wide and lovely garden, currently being tended to by Smitten and Broken.
He walked over, his eyes transfixed on the blossoming bursts of colors that Broken was watering, his expression nervous and unsure, wings tucked in tight as he concentrated.Opportunist was planning on making a comment, but decided that he shouldn't throw the other bird off.
Usually,Broken liked to be left alone, holing up in his room and only coming down for dinner. He knew that he was trying to move on,but some days were just harder to have the energy for it than others. Cheated knew that this obviously wasn't a good way to live,so he took it upon himself to drag Broken on walks every few days, sometimes accompanied by either Hunted or Jitters.
The walks certainly helped to bring him out of his gloom more, but Broken still felt a little aimless-as they all did-until Smitten recently offered to teach him how to garden, and it seemed to be going really well, and he would catch a small smile on Broken's face when he thought nobody was looking.
He shifted his gaze over to Smitten, who was beaming at him while juggling a variety of vegetables in his big arms.Opportunist chuckled and walked over, leaning against the fencepost as he asked in amusement,"You need some help there, farm boy?"
Smitten managed to wave him away without dropping a single vegetable-which was impressive-and said,"Nonsense,my friend!I am quite alright! Just gathering the ingredients for dinner."
Smitten was one of the ones who took life without the two Gods the hardest, followed by Hero, then Skeptic. In the beginning of their transition,it was evident that he had no idea how to behave,so he just clung to anyone he could and tried to assist them in anything they were doing, just wanting to help and uplift the others.
It was alright at the start, until it started to feel like he was in the way,so he ended up clinging to Skeptic a lot.It was honestly hard to watch the extravagant and passionate Smitten become lost,to have all this love but with no way to express it.
But after a few deep talks with Skeptic and Hero,he eventually found something that he could happily devote his time to-gardening.It allowed him to care and devote his time to something without becoming too attached to it.He would grow flowers at first, but then found out that he could grow vegetables, and he discovered his talent for cooking.
Smitten had now become their resident chef, and the act of cooking and making warm meals to give to his flockmates as an act of love satisfied all his desires of love.
Opportunist decided to leave him to it,giving him a wave which Smitten reciprocated, before a handful of potatoes inevitably fell out of his arms. Opportunist chuckled and left him to it,his attention being immediately caught by the sound of yelling and grunting.
To the far left of their home, were huge stacks of rocks, branches and leaves that acted as their resources. The two people responsible for gathering these supplies were currently in the middle of sparring-Stubborn and Hunted.
Opportunist walked over to watch the fight, but didn't get too close, until he squinted in the distance, peering into the shade of the edge of the forest that surrounded their home, finding Cold leaning against a tree and observing the fight.
Opportunist gasped in surprise, then began to fly over to him, careful not to get in the way of the fight. He watched the crazed grin on Stubborn's face, fingers twitching at his side and panting heavily, before he rushed forward, bringing his fist down towards Hunted.
Stubborn was the flock's muscle and protection-no surprise there. He was the one that was in charge of carrying all the heavy materials back home, and he wouldn't let anybody else help him, determined to do it on his own.He once was gone for hours, and when he came back,he had full, ripped up trees across his back, and a victorious smile on his muddy face.
He was also surprisingly okay with just helping anyone that needed his strength.Stubborn would often help Smitten carry vegetables such as watermelons or pumpkins,or go off with Skeptic when he was on one of his investigations,or even indulge Cold in his weird requests.
As the self-proclaimed protector,he was the first person to throw himself at a monster whenever it showed up,to the point that he would try and go out and pick a fight with a monster.Hero and Jitters were quick to scold him and stop that behaviour. As an alternative, some people agreed to spar with him.His usual opponents were Hunted and Cheated, but sometimes Cold and Skeptic joined in when they were in the mood for it.
When he was sure he was safe,Opportunist landed on the ground and walked up to stand next to Cold, just as Hunted swiftly sidestepped away from the blow.Stubborn's fist slammed against the ground, sending dust flying everywhere.
Hunted may be smaller but he was definitely faster, as he swiftly climbed up the arm that had tried to attack him, running all the way up to Stubborn's shoulders and the back of his neck.Stubborn squawked in fury and tried to reach back and grab Hunted, but the smaller bird easily dodged the grabs with a duck of his head.
Hunted then grabbed a fistful of Stubborn's head feathers, yanking him back and making him stumble, and with his other hand he leaned down and grabbed Stubborn's wrist, twisting it behind his back.It was only a matter of time before Stubborn lost his balance and fell forward on the ground, with Hunted above him-the winner of the match.
Opportunist cheered and clapped for him, only making Stubborn growl in irritation, making Opportunist snicker, because he knew that Stubborn hasn't won a fight against Hunted yet.
Hunted was another self-proclaimed protector, but whereas Stubborn was focused on solely protecting them,Hunted was more concerned with protecting the area they lived in.
Almost all day, everyday,Hunted would be seen doing a walk around the area, crouched low and on the look out for any danger.Sometimes he managed to catch wind of an approaching monster early, and had the pleasure to inform Stubborn so that he could take care of it.
Hunted would also go out and gather any food supplies that they needed, but it was mostly meat that he caught and brought back for Smitten to cook, who was appreciative but still had trouble looking at the dead and skinned animal.
He used to also bring back certain herbs for Jitters for his work, but then Smitten just started growing them in his garden,so now Hunted usually spends his free time making sure the flock was okay,or sparring with Stubborn. It surprised Opportunist that Hunted even wanted to fight, given how Stubborn initially treated him,but then he found out that it was actually Hunted that had asked to spar, once they had settled down, and seemed happy enough to indulge Stubborn.
Opportunist watched as Hunted helped Stubborn to his feet, whose annoyance was quickly replaced with a fiery determination to win next time. Opportunist finally turned to look at Cold, who was already staring at him.
"Hello,friend."
"What do you want?"
"Enjoying the show?"Cold shrugged."I knew Hunted was going to win.I just wanted to know how this time."Opportunist glanced back at the other two, and Stubborn shot Cold a quick glare before being dragged away by Hunted.
"I thought you and the clown would be up to something by now."Cold was silent, then leaned in closer to quietly murmur,"Hero's been on our case, so we have to wait for him to be distracted before we start again."Opportunist chuckled in amusement,as that would explain why Contrarian was just lying on a rooftop.
Cold tended to do a bit of everything around the place to stave off boredom, such as one day be out foraging with Hunted,or helping fight a monster with Stubborn,or will stick to Jitters and bother him a lot-unlike Contrarian, whose next actions depended entirely on how funny it would be.
Speaking of Contrarian, the two of them had become quite the partners in crime.Cold would always be roping Contrarian into doing dumb and reckless things, all in the name of amusement and not feeling numb, and it didn't take much to convince Contrarian. They never did anything to intentionally harm the others, but they always wound up getting a lecture from Hero,so they had to be sneakier when causing trouble now, apparently.
"Well, you didn't hear it from me,but I believe that Hero plans to join Hunted in his foraging trip tomorrow."He glanced back at Cold, who was staring at him with a raised brow, and Opportunist smiled sharply at him and said,"But I didn't tell you that."
"Is there something you want me to tell you?"Cold asked, and Opportunist looked away in embarrassment, still not liking how predictable he was becoming, and sheepishly asked,"Do you know where Jitters is?"
Cold nodded towards Jitters' house and said,"He should be back home by now.Skeptic wanted to talk to him earlier, but he should be all alone now."
Opportunist gave him a grateful smile that he tried to not stretch too far,to just let his smile be natural, but it still felt like an effort he had to make.
He swiftly walked off before Cold commented on it, blurting out a quick,"Thank you!"as he went.
He sighed, letting his shoulders slump in defeat as he walked off.It still annoyed him at how hard being genuine was,to not put a mask up in front of his flock.Old habits die hard and all that bullshit.
He was so deep in thought, that he didn't notice the two other flockmates, who were engaged in an intense conversation, until the three of them crashed into one another.
He grunted in pain, wings flapping frantically, and he managed to keep upright.Unfortunately, the same could not be said for Cheated.
Cheated had landed right on his feathery ass, glaring up at Opportunist, while Skeptic giggled down at him,a hand covering his mouth.Cheated's glare predictably went to Opportunist."Can you not look where you're going?"he snapped, but Opportunist just smirked and retaliated with,"Can you not keep yourself from falling for more than five minutes?"
Skeptic laughed with a snort, only earning himself Cheated's anger as he got to his feet.He poked a finger into Skeptic's chest and said,"I don't know what you're laughing about!Half the time, you go days without sleep for your research and can barely hold your own weight!"Skeptic's amusement was quickly erased, and he frowned at the other silently, before whacking him with a wing.
The two of them had become quite the pair.
Skeptic found it hard to adjust to this new life, but he was nothing if not determined and headstrong, so he quickly made himself busy with work-too much work.
He was trying so hard to ignore all the questions about the princess and wondering about this world, that he ended up almost completely ruining himself with stress and exhaustion.
The longing for something to work out, like a puzzle or a problem-really dragged him down. The Shifting Mound had been an ever-changing mystery where Skeptic's logic was useless, thus making Skeptic more hungry for the truth, but after having sorting through his problems with Smitten and Hero-he managed to turn himself around.
He set his mind to figuring out the things that he could-like the monsters and what their whole deal was.He had many theories, but none that he could determine to be the truth, but that only made him more passionate in his investigations.
He had his own little workplace a little bit out from their home, because there was only so much Skeptic madness that Opportunist could take.He didn't know what Skeptic did,but he did know that he would sometimes get Stubborn and Cold to help capture and dissect a monster for him.Opportunist never asked for the results.
Cheated could never stomach those days, but he was involved with every other aspect of the research.
After they reunited,it took a day or two for Cheated to forgive Skeptic and Smitten for how they didn't prioritized the flock at first.Once they got settled, Cheated was just as interested and passionate about figuring everything out as Skeptic was,so they became research buddies.
But Cheated didn't quite let the investigation consume him as Skeptic was prone to allowing. He could often be seen sparring with Stubborn, and he expectedly never won,but that never stopped him from trying every time, and Stubborn seemed to love his enthusiasm.
Cheated also liked hanging out with Broken a lot.He wouldn't even necessarily talk to him the whole time-just sit in silence with each other, which Broken greatly appreciated some days.More often than not,if Cheated wasn't with Skeptic,he was with Broken, watching him tend to the garden.
Once the two of them had calmed down,Cheated turned back to look at Opportunist, merely raising a brow as he asked,"You going over to see Jitters?"
Opportunist's feathers puffed up as a hot flush took over his face.God,was he that easy to read now?The evidence was all over his face,so he just nodded and Cheated said,"Okay.Tell him I said hi." then walked off.Skeptic followed him,but not before sending Opportunist a small, playful smile and patting him on the shoulder.
He took a deep breath, spent a few minutes preening and fixing his feathers, then made his way to the stairs.
The stairs to all their houses winded around multiple treetrunks, mostly for the birds that couldn't fly up to the houses in the trees.
It took a few weeks of discussion, but they eventually came to the decision that building houses in the trees felt the most safe, and least triggering. It allowed them to have a high vantage point of the forest,so that they could see if a monster was approaching, and it just felt nice to create something for themselves that they knew for a fact was real, that they could call theirs.
As Opportunist walked up,the sun that had previously been in his face was suddenly blocked off,and he looked up,only to find the one and only Hero flying above him,his wings blocking the sun.
Hero smiled, and it somehow looked as if the sun was creating a dazzling halo around him. Opportunist swore that it felt like the universe just favored Hero more. The wind would sway his feathers in just the right way,the sun would illuminate his smile, the fire would make his eyes shine in an almost hypnotic way.For some reason, this world just bent to please Hero.
Jitters thought he was crazy, and he knew it was bad when the paranoid one was calling him that.
"Hey Oppy,"Hero said, waving down at him, using the nickname that, for some reason, everyone started to use.He didn't actually mind it.
He smiled up at him."Hello,Hero! What are you up to today?"Hero shrugged and gazed out at their home."I'm just checking in on everyone. It's actually been pretty calm lately."
'Tomorrow won't be,'he thought in excitement, wondering in glee what Cold and Contrarian would do in Hero's absence tomorrow.Opportunist loved to be their spectator.
Hero floated down, leaning in closer to say,"By the way,Para is looking for you."
"Really?"he replied sarcastically, although Hero didn't seem to pick up on it,"I had no idea."
Hero just smiled brightly, and Opportunist couldn't help but smile softly back."Yeah, well,he's just up in his house.See you at dinner,Oppy!"and with that, Hero took off into the skies.
Out of everyone,Opportunist was most happy for Hero.Once everyone was together,he tried to pretend that everything was okay, and that he hadn't tried to open a cabin door and drag the Long Quiet back into a terrifying loop of death-but that obviously wasn't possible.
He tended to be more reserved and in his own head the first couple of weeks, but when someone spoke to him,he would be all smiles and happy to help anyone, but there was nothing to hide the pain in his eyes.
Missing the Long Quiet took its toll on everyone, but it hit Hero the hardest, and he would fly off into the skies for hours at night to clear his head.
It was only when he was out for an entire day that they all aired their concerns, worried sick about him. Hero had just looked at them all as if not believing that they actually cared about him, which was ridiculous.
But it was still the wake up call he needed-and maybe Hero will always miss and wonder about the Long Quiet, but right now,he seemed to be thriving by being the leader of their flock, taking care of everyone and making sure they're all safe.
Opportunist personally couldn't of asked for a better hero for them.
He sighed, then continued up the steps, until he was in front of a wooden bird house with a bouquet of lavender in the windowsill. All of them had some sort of flowers courtesy of Smitten-Opportunist currently had peach roses in his house.
He didn't bother knocking-he just came in through all of their doors, but with Jitters he at least opened the door softly and called out,"Jitters?Heard you were looking for me?"
He peered into the room, finding it a perfect halfway point of messy and clean. Some spaces, such as the bedroom, were spotless, but there were also papers strewn about, and blankets thrown haphazardly about the place.
The culprit in question suddenly rushed out from the balcony, and Opportunist felt his wings and shoulders relax as Jitters stopped and smiled tiredly at him.
He saw the way Jitters' body relaxed as well as he said,"Hey Oppy."He motioned towards the balcony he had just been at."Come over here."
Opportunist followed him out,and realised why as they had a perfect view to the sun starting to set, pink and orange mixing in between the clouds.
Opportunist looked over at Jitters,at the way he gazed out at the sky with a fond look. There wasn't a lot that could make Jitters fully relax, but staring at the sky seemed to be one of them.Maybe it was because the sky couldn't hurt them.Maybe it was because they had never seen the sky like this before.Either way, seeing Jitters be at peace like this was sweet.
Jitters looked back at him,his wings twitching at the feeling of being watched, but he merely scrunched up his face in confusion and said, "What?"
"What did Skeptic need you for?"Jitters groaned, leaning forward against the wooden rail and said, "He kept asking me all these questions about reality and what's real or not,and if the monsters were actually real or just a figment of our fears or whatever."
"Well the concussion that one gave me certainly felt real."
Jitters chuckled, then said,"Yeah,he wanted me to inspect the monsters-"
"Did you?"Opportunist asked in sudden fear, straightening up and studying Jitters for any bruises or marks."Of course not!"Jitters said in outrage at the very thought. His wings spread out, then swiftly hugged him in comfort."I didn't go anywhere near those things, and I told Skeptic that he could figure it out on his own!"
Opportunist released a breath of relief, then found his attention drifting to Jitters' wings. The once thin and weak feathers were now beginning to grow more healthily,no longer an overpreened mess, instead shaping Jitters' wings into limbs that were almost capable of flying.
Jitters had been determined to try and not ruin his wings,to be able to fly for himself one day,and had even convinced Broken to try and fix his wings as well.Everytime Opportunist looked at his wings,he felt immense pride for his flockmate swelling up in him.
"Oppy?"his attention was suddenly brought back to Jitters, who was giving him a curious look, his wings no longer wrapped around him.Jitters tilted his head to the side."What are you thinking about?"
He chuckled nervously, turning to look out at the sunset, but he could still feel the other's gaze against his feathers. He shrugged, ignoring the warm feeling in his chest as he answered,"Just thinking about how long it's been since we've talked."
Lie,and Jitters knew it was,but he just giggled and said nothing of it.
They literally talk all the time, but admitting that for some reason was something that Opportunist couldn't bring himself to do.It was even worse that Jitters could tell that he was lying, and wasn't bothered by it in the slightest. He almost wished that they could go back to when Jitters wouldn't trust a thing he said, instead of actually knowing him well enough to know when he was saying a harmless lie.
When Jitters wasn't talking to him,Hero or Cold a lot,he was busy being the flock's medic. He asked Hunted to teach him how to treat wounds and infections, and Jitters clearly had a knack for it, picking up the skill instantly, and he was constantly picking up herbs from Smitten's garden, and always made sure to bring enough supplies wherever he went.
When Opportunist asked why he wanted to learn to be a medic when he already had his chant,Jitters explained that his chant could only do so much, and he felt better and safer knowing how to help the others in different ways.
In that moment,Opportunist felt Jitters' heavy, worried gaze on him,and he knew what event had led to his decision.
Jitters liked to keep tabs on everyone, and there was often someone that needed patching up, Cheated and Cold being the main culprits.
But everyday,Jitters always made sure to talk to Opportunist, whether that be by sitting and having dinner with him,or chatting while he made salves in his house,Opportunist always found himself next to Jitters.
'"You know what's weird?"Jitters softly asked, and Opportunist smirked as he said,"You think everything is weird,Jitters."That earned him a wing to the face, and he burst out laughing as he swatted the wing away.
"Shut up!"Jitters exclaimed with a grin, waiting for him to calm down before saying,"It's been three months since we've ended up like this."
Opportunist paused."Wait,really?"
"Yeah,it's-"
"You've been counting the days?"
"Why are you on my ass today?"Jitters snapped, and it was the only way to ignore the weight of those words,to poke fun at Jitters.
Eventually though,Jitters was looking at him more seriously, and he rolled his eyes as he said,"Yeah,I guess it is a bit weird to think about."
"Right?"Jitters said,"It feels like forever since I've seen a princess or heard an Echo."He chuckled nervously."Almost makes me feel like what we went through was just a bad dream."
Opportunist took a step closer to him."Is that a good or bad thing?"
Jitters smile dropped, and he shrugged."I don't know,"he admitted, and Opportunist didn't even think about it before he draped his wing over the other's shoulders, noting how he had been subtly trembling beforehand. But the moment his wing touched Jitters, the fear in his eyes vanished, and he sent Opportunist a soft and thankful smile.
After a few minutes of silence,Jitters spoke up,"You know what else is weird?"
"What?"
"It's been three months since we've become friends."
Opportunist froze, and he knew that Jitters could feel how his wing tensed up,and he started to preen his feathers in comfort, while Opportunist processed that.
Friends.Flock.Family.
All things that Opportunist wasn't once sure he deserved.
Opportunist spent the majority of the last few months learning how to be honest, and to not put on a mask when he doesn't need to.
Some days it's easy to be himself.A lot of days-it's not. It's hard to rip off a mask that's been glued to your face for so long, even if you're around your precious flock. There were days that he wasn't feeling the best, but once someone asked,he immediately sent them a reassuring smile and said that he was fine.It was harder to do it around Jitters, but that's just because he calls him out on it in private, and lets him drop any and all performances.
It wasn't that he didn't like being trusted-it was just weird knowing that people could look past his act and see what he actually was like. There was just something nerve-wracking and terrifying about the whole thing.
To distract himself,he focused on helping Hero around. He found that he really liked designing his house to be what he wanted,to feel safe and warm and inviting for all the others to come in.
He realised that he could create and design things for others,to express how he feels, even if he verbally couldn't,and he actually liked that a lot.
He loved it even more when he designed every single bird house for every member of his flock.
It was so gratifying in a way,to finally be able to do something that expressed his true feelings, and it wasn't about safety at all.It was just about love.
Finally,he smiled, and looked back at Jitters, who was giving him such a concerned look that it made something inside him burn.
He made himself look Jitters in the eye as he truthfully said,"I'm glad we're friends."
Jitters' feathers puffed up in embarrassment, and Opportunist just smiled wider at the sight.Jitters giggled nervously and quickly looked back at the fading sun."Yeah, well,I guess you were right about one thing. We do make a good team."
Even if Opportunist mouth may still be sharp and cruel sometimes.
Even if Jitters' mind was still poisoned with heavy, fearful thoughts and nightmares.
They loved each other, and they were fine with everything happened-if it led them to this beautiful life.

... this wasn't the original fanart i had intented to write for, but yeah. I'm afraid that i write as whimsy strikes me and i really liked this art of yours, OP!
So here you go with 'Where di you find it'
Dr John Watson was a man with a great deal of practice in admitting his mistakes. Once, in simpler or maybe just older times, he would have certainly declared Holmes a quick if fastidious man when it came to his personal appearance. Of course, the man could hardly be tempted away from his comfortable black frock coat and bow tie, but he was unfailingly fast at getting ready for any call they might receive.
Now the doctor knew this idea of his to be little more than a fancy.
Modern fashion seemed to attract Holmes much more than it had in their own time and so did hot showers. That morning’s call from Scotland Yard wasn’t doing much for making the man hurry.
Strange as it may seem, Sherlock Holmes wasn’t bored. His attention was almost completely taken up by his biochemical experiments and he wasn’t desperate for a case at all, still, in his words, it was always worth to take a look at what the Yard couldn’t solve.
The doctor chuckled as he heard the music stop in the bathroom and the door open, he peered over his book to look at his dear Holmes as he walked in the room and stifled a chuckle.
“Are you planning to show up like this, my dear? – He asked rising to kiss his husband. – You’re going to give Miss Parker a stroke?”
Sherlock Holmes grinned, mischievous, and kissed his husband back, his arms around the doctor’s neck while the doctor held him close by the waist.
“I do find that this shirt expresses most of my feelings about the police force after recent events, my Watson. Whatever are you wearing instead?” He asked, a smile in his voice
“Something light and fresh, my dear fellow, for this heat, as I do not intend to boil while we are in the tube. I think it’s one of your shirts.”
Holmes laughed heartily and pecked his Watson’s lips again. “It sure can’t be mine, my dear, it’s large even on you!”
Watson shrugged. “I don’t really remember in which one of our closets I found it, my Holmes, but it resemble that oversize style you had taken a liking to. – Winked Watson. – At least this one will not cause eyebrows to be lifted at the Yard.”
“Are you implying that I’m trying to see what does it take to give them the same shock I gave Bradstreet with that old affair of Mr St. Clair.”
Watson laughed again, slinging his backpack on his good shoulder. “I am not implying anything, Sherlock, I know it. And as always I am dutifully recording every single exploit of yours.”
Mr Holmes smiled again and took his own bag, opening the door for his partner. “Come then, my friend and biographer, let’s see if I’ll excel myself today.” He smiled, theatrical as ever, accepting a kiss from his husband as they started of what could possibly be a new adventure.
Hope you like this little snippet which is very much part of the They Never Lived AU, love you all!
