Dream is getting comfortable again wearing his "slutty" outfits.

When he first met back up with Hob he was covered up, but he wants to get back to himself, comfortable with dressing like he used to. He asks Hob for help, they're friends, Hob should have no problem telling Dream if what he's wearing is appropriate to the current century and okay for various levels of public.

After Hob sees the first outfit - something gauzy with a deep v down Dream's chest, with only shadows giving any modesty, Hob gives himself 10 minutes until has to excuse himself to the bathroom.

Hob being Dream’s 21st century fashion advisor is very sweet and very funny tbh. Maybe Dream figures that Hob is ALSO in his slut era. Look at that white t-shirt, it's practically see-through.

I'm imagining a mini fashion show, like the kind of thing you see in the movies (27 Dresses, four weddings and a funeral). Dream puts on his little outfits and Hob offers compliments/critiques ("I'm not sure leather trousers and just... tape over your nipples.... is necessarily what people would consider appropriate for going outside in. How about you use it for that party Lucifer invited you to at their club instead?")

Hob is quite obviously infatuated with Dream - he could come out wearing a bin bag and Hob would coo over him with hearts in his eyes. Dream even puts this to the test and shows Hob some of his,,,,,, questionable fits (the boots that come up to crotch height) and Hob is just like "slay!!!!!"

Eventually Dream is so comfortable with Hob, hes practically lounging around naked. And then it's really on a matter of time. Hob has 600 years worth of self control but he's still just a guy at the heart of it all.

And when they've finished making a mess of Hob’s sofa, Dream looks better than ever - wearing absolutely nothing but Hob’s boxers dangling precariously off his hip bones. It's his new favourite outfit.

I'm starting to see where the plot is going and I approve. I will say the Polin story line is going well and I have no notes but a lot of other characters do not get screen time. There are no Lady Danbury Penelope interactions. It does feel at times there are too many characters due to these interactions.

Overall good, the ending odiously was the strong point I gave it 10/10.

oh thank you!! i definitely think you're right that it's good to face what we want and that there's no shame in wanting attention. i've been trying to not be so ashamed of everything in general because i've realized that most people deal with that too, and that being at ease with myself helps people be at ease with me too

but in general, i am very happy with the amount of attention and kind words i get, and i definitely agree that more numbers =/= more joy. i used to chase certain milestones and think that i would reach a point where i'd be content and satisfied, and reaching a milestone is cool but it's still just numbers. ultimately, it means more to me to get thoughtful feedback, or when an artist i respect likes it, or to see the same people stick around for months and years :-) i do notice that & i love to see it

and not to be mean, but i also really don't vibe with how some people i follow on instagram, that are popular artists, act very demanding of their audience's attention and money. i don't think following someone online means you pledge your eternal loyalty to them, and i never would want people to think that if they scroll by an art piece of mine without interacting, or just liking, it's a deep betrayal lol. it's fine! ultimately, my feelings are mine to deal with, and it's not on anyone else to provide validation to me at all times. i really don't want anyone to feel guilty for that

like people are not entitled to free labor from artists, but artists are also not entitled to a "fandom". i remember being really not impressed back on deviantart with how popular artists talked to their followers and tbh i think some people are rude to feel more like rock stars. it's not cute.... i don't like it... i feel like the respect has to go both ways

also im kinda glass half full-ing my way through life - if something doesn't work out, i'm like well, this is a good way to practice failure and emotion control. can't go through life with everything going smoothly at all times, that's just how it is. i cant control what happens, only what i do about it. if i post something and it doesn't work as well as i thought, oh well, it's ok, i'm learning to detach value from notes, i'm going to be just like the buddha very soon

one thing i've found annoying about the last few years is like. yes, individual actions don't impact anything and yes most pollution comes from 7 dudes and we know their addresses. but they're not captain planet villains. they're not polluting for fun. they're polluting because it is profitable, and that's where your individual choices come in!

like i know vegans and vegetarians can be annoying (though tbh people who think vegans and vegetarians are annoying are often more annoying. I've encountered a lot more defensive paleo people than annoying vegans) but cutting down your meat intake is legitimately one of the things you can do that can help the planet. cutting down on your use of single use plastics or trying to use more sustainable stuff, not persuing fast fashion, eating more locally, these can all be really easy ways to slightly improve the world through individual actions.

and i feel like any time people point this out there's a lot of defensiveness-- what about people who need x, y, z-- and it's unnecessary. i was a vegetarian for like 15 years and stopped being one partially because i was iron deficient like every time i got blood work done. but i still try not to eat a lot of red meat. I'm not out here saying "if you don't do this you're bad" but "you should try not to do this, if you can." the "if you can" is important! and it can encompass "not feeling like it"-- there is no moral judgement.

and in this it's more about the right, but I've found it useful to start recognizing in myself. how much of the perceived arrogance of virtue signalling or veganism or x, y, z,

moralizing individual choices leads to people getting reactive when their own individual choices are brought into question (as any vaguely anti-makeup post on this website shows). but individual actions are what make up greater changes. consumer pressure and preference has led to cheaper cars being in high demand and fuel economy being something that automobile manufacturers are forced to consider, more than BIGGEST TRUCK

it seems overwhelming. it seems unfair to have to restrict yourself when you know people sweeping across the world are taking private jets all over. but you don't have to restrict yourself completely: you don't have to live like an ascetic monk. but getting into better, more sustainable habits can be fun and rewarding-- and often, in the long term, cheaper. If you want more outfits, it's way more fun to do goodwill clothing hauls and learn to visibly fix your clothing. when i was at my brokest, i basically lived a vegan diet (though if i have to see rice and beans again i might die). recycle cans at a center that gives you money back and use it to play the lottery or treat yourself. look up farm shares in your area and support local farms.

there is no ethical consumption after late capitalism: consumption by itself isn't activism, and your individual actions don't change anything. These are all true: but they cannot be mantras to let yourself make the world worse.

but yeah i mean... technically?? that's definitely one way to describe it. and i'll try my best to explain what it is because it overtakes my every waking thought these days.

so like. there is this thing right. she's known as the entity. she's essentially the main antagonist of the whole game, and she drags people into something known as the fog, a place that no one has been able to escape. once you're in the fog, you're not leaving.

so you have one group of people known as survivors. this includes original characters like meg, yunjin, sable, dwight, etc etc. and then licensed characters such as leon kennedy, nick cage, alan wake, ellen ripley, etc etc.

then you have the second group, the killers. this includes original killers like the trickster, skull merchant, the trapper, the artist, etc etec. and then licensed characters like michael myers, pinhead, demogorgon, amanda young, and so on. then there's ghostface. he's only half-licensed, so he's not from any of this movies, he's only canon to dbd. his name is danny.

the lore of this game is not something i'm an expert at. i only know the lore for like... 5 characters. but the gist is that you get dragged into the fog (or willingly enter, if you're quirky like sable) and are forever stuck there, cursed to either continuously get killed over and over again or cursed to continuously murder over and over again.

each trial is a 1v4. one killer, four survivors. the survivors have to repair generators to power up the exit gates in order to escape, and the killer has to hunt them down and sacrifice them to the entity by hooking them 3 times. 2, if you bring a mori or if they get left on hook until their second hook state.

and each survivor and killer comes with their own set of perks, like little skills essentially, that you can use to help yourself out in trials. like uhhh...

some examples being the perks i put on my survivors: adrenaline, a meg perk, instantly heals you a health state and gives you a haste boost once gates are powered. background player, a renato perk, that gives you a massive speed boost when the killer picks up a downed survivor. unbreakable, a bill perk, that lets you pick yourself up if you've been downed. and soul guard, a cheryl perk, that grants you endurance for a period of time once you've been healed from a downed state.

and then some killer perks: no way out, a trickster perk, that calls the entity to block exit gates when someone tries opening them. the time depends on how many survivors you hooked that match. rancor, a spirit perk, that lets you immediately down and mori your obsession once gates are powered no matter how many times you've hooked them. nurse's calling, a nurse perk, that lets you see the aura of survivors healing within a certain range. blood warden, a nightmare perk, that blocks off the exit for 60 seconds after hooking a survivor once either gate has been opened.

i don't think i'm doing the best job at explaining the game tbh. the best way to learn about it is to either watch someone play it or play it yourself, bc that's how i learned. and i'm still new to the game man, 4 months, 420 hours.

it's an online game, so there's always bound to be toxic people on both sides, but it's also a really fun game and like.

there have been moments in this game, lil interactions w other survivors and killers, that have genuinely made my day.

there's also outfits!! for the killers and survivors!! some of them aren't good, but some of them are. really just depends on your taste in fashion, i guess. and lil charms that you can put on your survivors, and on your hooks.

Project Runway Episode 3: Rainbow High First Reactions

Just watched the newest episode! And I gotta say... god, they know how to write rainbow high. Compared to last week, rainbow high flowed. Shadow high was bulky. Learning fashion lessons with rainbow high is fun and it keeps a good pace. In fact, it went to fast. I think if they extended some of those reaction... It almost felt like an episode review, instead of an actual episode, tbh.

If they can't make shadow high flow, I gotta say... The shadow high segments are gonna get old fast. They have more drama, but if I have to wait an extra week for rainbow high because shadow high is being nasty again...

If I wanted rivalry, I'd go back to the iconic "focus on your own work" duo of season 2

Shadow high is it's own thing. Don't make it follow a niche mold. Make it work on it's own.

...Shadow high is the slytherin of the rainbow high universe. (Pacific coast, and rainbow high are like the other houses so far. I think they have to really look at it and treat it this way, if they want any other schools to shine. Same destination, same road, different "paths". Like monster high compared to Ever After High. I'm so hoping they can work this out!!! 🤞🤞🤞🥺. It's like the slytherins rising from the dungeons and the Grifindor coming down from the towers, but coming to the same grand hall, and then taking the same class. But they study and learn their way)

(I think rainbow high really works on letting all the girls shine. But I think shadow high should let their uniqueness shine. Like... Like Neon shadow! Each character had an aura about them. Menacing, wild, and smart and cheeky. They walked in the room, you felt their vibe. They lived that vibe. The rest of shadow high doesn't seem to follow suit. That's the saddest part. I wanted to see more of that, please rainbow high! Please!)

Although... it doesn't help that team rainbow made a whole outfit... and we explored all of Shadow high through one measly jumper. No wonder they're getting beaten by rainbow high popularity wise... the comparison is pretty sad. I guess they had a shitty leader, but still... it's so unprofessional.

I miss rainbow high going like a breeze like this episode. I could watch it again and again. I am in love. 😍

4. who is your least favourite doctor? why? I have actually been thinking about this recently and it's tough but I have to say four. I do really like quite a few serials in his era but it's also the stretch of the show where there really was a format that they stuck to and it's therefore my least favourite stretch of the show. it's like. to put my favourite doctors higher on the list I have to put doctors I still really like down at the bottom, y'know?

9. least favourite outfit of the doctor's? why? ten's outfit without the long trenchcoat is bland, tbh. eleven's is just strange enough that it doesn't feel like just quirky fashion of the time (though it would inspire quirky fashion of the time...) and I can't exactly fault nine's outfit because he was #goingthroughit but yeah I don't exactly have a least favourite I just have nitpicks

15. what is your favourite companion outfit? why? I would say steven taylor's outfit in the celestial toymaker because he's got the striped jumper that EVERYONE in 1965/66 had and I think it's fucking neat but uhhh I do have others. romana II's outfit in full circle is pretty neat. jamie in the war games where he's covering up the allegedly awful puffy shirt from the space pirates with a dark jacket is also a Look. we can't forget ace's jacket, either! last but not least is yates' outfit in planet of the spiders

16. who is your favourite doctor/companion duo? I do actually really enjoy the first doctor/steven in the massacre of st bartholomews' eve, and the fourth doctor/adric is also enjoyable for those few episodes. oh and seven with either mel or ace! oh and twelve and bill. yeah. can't forget new who exists now can I?

17. what is your favourite alien species? I do like the alpha centauri, and the ice warriors, but I have to say the alzarians are. the most interesting. *cough cough* they're descended from spiders and if adric in castrovalva is... let's say to be believed that means those spiders were capable of having dicks what the actual hell *cough cough*

18. what is your favourite alien planet? I want to know more about metebelis three. but that's only in a 'I want to concept more about metebelis three' way. I also like logopolis, because that's a very interesting place. I have also really loved akhaten ever since that episode broadcast

20. if you could change anything about the show, what would it be? I'd bring back serials. no more condensing a story into 45-50mins or at best an hour and a half resulting in lack of character development and worldbuilding you Must pad out the runtime to a minimum of two hours. also I'd like. have more things like the invasion of time. and I'd bring back the heavily synthesised style of title sequence no more orchestras and beat drops against the time vortex you're getting the doc's face floating in space and you're gonna like it (can you tell where I'm up to in my rewatch?)

I'd also like to mention that I do in fact have two dr who story ideas rattling about in my head; one is my oc keith's story, which I am willing to talk about because it's like my dream dr who story arc that I doubt will ever get made. but I am actually thinking of submitting my second idea at some point. I haven't actually written much of it beyond a vague concept outline because I would like to not only wait until after I've finished my degree for reasons of time but also learning, y'know? I'm also like. not that confident in my writing yet. I'll probably publish some other original work and get back into writing fanfiction just for the practice

1.YES kish/ichigo! the thing is. I GET it, and I don't really care if other people ship it obv (esp since ppl are adults these days in the fandom at large and shipped it as kids, I get that its a nostalgia thing for a lot of ppl, or has an interesting post-canon dynamic?)

what I do hate is that kishigo shippers tend to throw my fav best boy masaya under the bus, or make him wildly ooc, or just generally hate on him. :( thankfully I see that a lot less these days as again a lot of ppl are adults and more mature abt it (and I am generous with the block button for ppl who arent, lmao) but back in the day it was painful and everywhere. like, even if im a masago fan, I LIKE kisshu as a character and find him interesting, and even if I DIDNT u wouldnt see me putting chara hate for him in the main tag! thats tacky! some ppl need to learn character analysis fr because how are they looking at the same characters I am!!!

kishigo just isnt For Me, its a lil icky even putting all of that aside but the way the fans of it acted years ago made it my association with the ship even worse. I dont think ill ever be able to look at it w/out cringing bc of that lol 🤷‍♂️

16. If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?

OHHH this is a hard one. the question specifies 'show' but I'm gonna actually answer for the series as a whole (manga, old show, new show)

I'd probably change the new series to keep the old series' lore about the mew aqua rod being an ancient alien artifact instead of being a masha form (...because this lines up with my fanfiction, no other reason, actually, lol)

2. For the old series, no panty/bust shots. those are awkward and bad, and the new show did better w that, at least imo.

3. make the new show longer. we know its at least getting a season 2, but cmon. give me like 7 seasons. stretch it out, add brand new filler eps with focus on each chara, no need to rush, give us lots of new mew content, don't be shy about merch, either... 👀 and add berry and ringo, too... (in a perfect world, season 3 will be made and feature berry, and ringo would get an OVA or movie situation.)

4. more alien lore!!!! anything. give us crumbs we deserve them (I also really wanted alien redesigns like the girls got tbh! even if I kinda like the old mew designs better, I still wouldve liked to see smth new for the aliens anyway)

2021's Summary of Art

We certainly live in interesting times. I think that reflects pretty well in my art this year, considering the batty amount of changes my style went through as the year went on. Unfortunately, only have eleven instead of twelve drawings this year because of unforeseen circumstances. However, I did significantly more art than I did last year to the point I think I can safely say I did more than writing, and perhaps more than the last two years combined. Oops. Explanations under the cut + 2020 here + a blank version here!

January! My Holiday Harbinger gift for the lovely @faejilly of their Ella Shepard! This one was the more adventurous of the two I did, mostly because of the overlay I put on top of a handful of constellations. I genuinely can't remember which ones they are, I'm not really into astrology. I am very glad that they liked it though!

February! I believe the first time I ever did real ship art? And subsequently, the first time I drew Kaidan this year. It's a little flat and I don't love it as much as I did before, but I'm still pretty pleased with how I figured out the posing for both muses. Never been a fan of drawing kisses, but never been a fan of drawing two muses actually interacting either. The second muse is my AJ Shepard.

March! My darling Svenja Tabris in her Warden armor and looking her best while up to trouble in the Brecilian forest. I discovered the splatter brush and never really looked back on this one, but the first time I ever drew her. Also, the second reason I despise drawing Warden armor. I hate the blue part of it because its so tedious to color, shade and highlight.

April! During one of my sketch giveaways for a handful of mutuals, Raya Auren (who belongs to the lovely @sheyshen). As you can see, probably the first time I learned how to actually draw noses properly. Was not super great with nostrils beforehand, but we figured it out! Loved drawing her features as well, which gave me a foray into something new.

May! My darling Citlali Velasquez (who I almost drew every month this year), just posing somewhere out on the Citadel in an outfit I mashed together from pictures on Pinterest. Hands down my most fashionable muse, second only to Brione because women's pantsuits are hot. Got to play around with a sheer shirt and leather (which I still haven't learned to texture properly) in this picture, as well as levels of lighting.

June! A birthday gift for my mutual @sheyshen of their Kara! I believe I did a photo of her the year prior, so its nice to see the improvement from then, including the radical change in style between then and now. Do go and read the fic she's part of, Koren's Breaking The Bad News.

July! A giveaway reward for the lovely @pigeontheoneandonly of their Nathaly Shepard. It was a real treat to work on her, and I believe one of the few reasons I haven't drawn the N7 armor since then. There's quite the demand for detail on it, but I loved drawing it for them! Do go and read the fic she's part of, Pigeon's Nathaly Shepard series.

August! The second time I did ship art this year, and one I'm actually still really happy with -- of my Citlali Velasquez and Joker. I have many soft spots for them <3 Not actually sure what sparked drawing this one, but the reason I will never draw the crew outfit from three again unless paid. It is unnecessarily complicated and I hate it.

September! So quick "fun" fact, I was in my school's competitive marching band from about August to December this year. TL;DR, I'll literally never do it again because the schedule is destructive and a little dehumanizing tbh. Either way, no work done this month because of a lack of time.

October! Darling Citlali...again. She was my second or third foray into a more painterly style that didn't rely at all on the blender tool, and I loved working with all her color values. Super wacky that I just don't work for a month and then start slapping colors down again in a complete 180 of a style. Thankfully she still looks like herself here, after all I tend to draw her and then she looks like a completely different character because I've morphed into a different artist.

November! Reyna Hawke, finally visualized into all her glory. Finally, I collected all six stones -- I mean all of my main Dragon Age protags. November was literally the first time I had them all drawn in a partially consistent style (Marzie's was October last year I believe), and after her redesign. The first time I've drawn her post-DA2 armor as well, but during the Here Lies the Abyss mission.

December! Can't tag them or name their character just yet (Holiday Harbinger's gifting doesn't open until January 😞), but I adored working on this piece so much!! It's a pose I tend not to like using since the muse's face isn't head on, but working with their character and being able to give them art I'm really proud of was the best part of working on this!!

I think the hardest part for me now is trying to adjust to becoming seen and known as a fat guy by more than just my partner. It's one thing to be fat but still able to mostly hide it under clothes, but if I gain as much as I want to I won't be able to do that anymore, and its really stressful and scary trying to make that jump. Pre-T me was always that awkward size where I was too small for plus size fashion but too big for regular stores and I always wished I could shop at the plus size stores bc the dresses were so pretty, but now that I wear men's clothing plus size stores are suuuuper Hetero(tm) and boring and it sucks not being able to find nice clothes easily! It makes it so much harder to feel good about myself now that I can't just throw on a sexy outfit to make myself feel better :( I'm almost too big to shop at places like H&M now and I'm sort of debating if I should just keep shopping there even if things start to be a bit more figure hugging bc I'm so desperate for nice clothes that make me feel good. It's just so hard to unlearn the fear of being seen as fat publicly, let alone to intentionally wear something that doesn't hide my body or who I am (it almost makes me wish i had a humiliation kink just so I'd be more ok with it 😩). Transitioning gender-wise seems way more straightforward than trying to transition from being a little bit above average weight to obese or morbidly obese (I'm technically obese already but I'm just shy of 6ft so I only look kinda overweight 😣) I wish there was like, a list of steps on how to do it and what to expect like there is for starting HRT and all the social transitioning, y'know? -🍓

oh i feel you with men’s clothing being boring af, like tbh even men’s straight size clothing is So Boring and then being like an XL or bigger makes it that much harder to find anything fruity that isn’t hella expensive. im also a trans guy and like i found it easier mentally to be okay with being a chubby guy rather than being a chubby girl bc there is less social pressure there. like obvi its difficult to be fat in society regardless of gender but for me accepting myself as a chubby guy was easier than accepting myself as a chubby girl. i think a big part of accepting yourself as fat is unlearning the social stigmas and understanding that being fat is perfectly okay and that other people’s opinions don’t matter as long as youre happy with yourself. but also that is way easier said than done!

AAAA Joseph is a BIG FAVE for a few reasons!!! So first things first, he always goes into battles with a strategy and things everything through!! Just in general the fights he are a part of are so interesting to watch cause he’s always a few steps ahead! Let’s see… he also in general is a goofball and I feel like in general I can relate to everything he does, it’s really comforting and AAA I just loved Part 2 so much because of him tbh. Also he wears so so many weird outfits. Like the stupid things he wears are fashion goals omg it’s so dorky. OH OH also the fact that he’s in many parts lets me see him grow throughout the years, and I love seeing him grow as a character and learn new things about himself and come to terms with aspects of his past- I could go on and on!!! ;W;

danny phantom season 2, ep 12-16 thoughts! these episodes, in comparison to the first 10 or so, felt way more laid back and low-stakes, which I appreciate sometimes. I didn't appreciate how lazy jack's halfa design was in masters of time, it made me so annoyed I redesigned it. 👎🏻 u_u

-I knew danny wanted to be an astronaut, but the bowling tidbit is like. yes give me more useless info abt these characters, I love tiny details that make them feel more human, and im glad hes got hobbies aside from ghost stuff, we dont really see a lot of that!!! (I mean, we knew 'fun' danny from when he split himself in half liked bowling, so obv it makes sense he LIKES it, but hes very GOOD at it. so proud of him, bowling king) val calling him neil armstrong and them teasing each other. LOVE THAT.

-technus you are my favorite grandpa for setting this up. SAM WHY ARE YOU BEING SO CREEPY BE HAPPY FOR YOUR FRIEND!!! -sam with the fake fangs. once again her accessories never miss. hate the 'not like other girls, girls who get sucked into this kind of thing are all shallow and all want to be carbon copies' bs tho.

-sam trying to be the Worst Bride, being rude as shit. DORA IS GOING TO GET KILLED. DID YOU MISS THE PART WHERE SHE SAID THE PRINCE WILL HAVE HER HEAD IF YOU ARENT THE IDEAL BRIDE. YOU /KNOW/ DANNY WILL COME SAVE YOU. JUST ACT CHILL UNTIL THEN. even if you were doing fine to get him to take off the crown, consider maybe not letting his poor sister get punished also?? sure, she could also take off the crown and has dragon powers, but did you know that for sure?? dora didnt even really realize it until you guys talked!! (or at least, she was scared to stand up to him. you had no guarantee she would...) but. good for dora. ANOTHER friendly ghost to add to the List :)

-tucker is so under appreciated in his time. if he was doing a tech-based campaign today he'd have a better shot. people in 2004 had NO IDEA how much tech would be a part of our day-to-day lives...altho. tbh if you're going to be running for student council president, maybe you should..focus on things to actually improve the school? since he's going for a tech angle, he could say like, he would be running fundraisers for the schools computers to be upgraded, etc? we've already SEEN he can be good at money-making entrepreneur type stuff!!

-LOVE the fenton's 80s outfits. I get hes 14 and embarrassed by everything they do because theyre his parents, but. cmon, this is one objectively cool thing theyve done. love 80s fashion.

-...was vlad just standing on that streetlight waiting for danny to come out? how'd he know they'd be coming out the back? how long has he been up there???

-oh, wait, his ecto-acne has flareups? that SUCKS. danny was...well I dont want to say he was LUCKY HE HALF-DIED, but he was lucky his was pretty instant (I'm assuming that had to do with the power/scale of the portals being different?) I remember in the ep we met him, vlad made a point of saying he was stuck in a hospital for a long time, so. that really actually sucks and I feel bad. not that it excuses anything he's done...but like. it does suck.

-vlad being so sure danny wouldnt help him he made it somehow contagious to his friends to make sure he'd get help? danny is a nice boy, he wouldve helped if it was anyone else. the only reason he wouldn't have is because of the shit vlad did to him, on purpose. vlad 100% dug his own grave by being the biggest asshole, so it is very hard to feel bad for him.

-clockwork is back!!! and making danny learn lessons The Hard Way. Uhhh, okay. I kind of get Danny’s logic, that time traveling this far back would prevent vlad from becoming a halfa also, ergo no arch nemesis or ectoacne to worry about. But the fact that was basically the first solution Danny came up with to solve this problem is actually so funny. It’s so extreme

-vlad telling maddie in the lab (in the 80s) he has something he's wanted to tell her 'for a long time'...how long have they known each other? I assumed they met in college, since jack always calls vlad his college buddy/roommate, so jack and vlad for sure met in college, but did vlad know maddie longer? thats surprising if so. Tho we don’t know what year of college they’re in so they could mean they met as freshmen and a few years have past…speaking of maddie shes crushing the 80s look.

-vlad blames jack, but. maybe dont stick your face 2 inches from the portal??! THIS FEELS LIKE LAB SAFETY BASICS. IF SOMETHING HAS POTENTIAL TO BE DANGEROUS, DONT GET NEAR IT. WITH YOUR FACE UNPROTECTED IN ANY WAY. (altho jack didnt really give a Big Warning besides screaming BONZAI. so. also that, but cmon.) also, they need gloves, goggles, and to pull all of their hair back tbh. but fuck lab safety, I guess!

I did that in about 10 minutes and its somehow less lazy than what made it into the show. embarrassing! better yet, I think the episode would've been better if maddie would've gotten the ectoacne. or maybe its just me, wanting to see her design! anyway. I'm sure people have already done redesigns of them both as halfas. I have to go look after I finish this watch through. Also mildly frustrated jacks resentment and bitterness is basically also a copy paste of vlads backstory. They’re different characters, I really don’t think jack would stew in bitterness and jealousy the same way vlad would!! I also don’t think he’d give up after one time of trying to hunt ghosts and getting laughed at. Our canon timeline says different…I dunno, I get it was for laughs, but I’m annoyed because the POTENTIAL this plot has…

-did vlad really wear a stupid cheese hat to his wedding. ok actually that kinda rules. and the cheese door knocker. the dairy-only buffet table. vlad still got rich, just on being the New Dairy King. (Assuming that means he owns a lot of dairy businesses?) ok! this actually is great. hope maddie isn't lactose intolerant!

-'no matter how hard I tried, I could never get rid of my ghost half, the half I knew Maddie could never accept' ohh, ouch, what a horrible thing to say to her HALF GHOST SON. 'YOUR MOM WILL NEVER ACCEPT YOU' BASICALLY.

-maddie strapping danny to the table with a lazer pointed at him in a secret lab she keeps from vlad that she makes a point of saying is sound proof so he can scream all he wants...CHRIST. DANNYS POOR PYSCHE.

-also, not to feel bad for alternate vlad (because, he did lie to maddie saying jack blames her and never wants to see her again...) but. being married to a woman 20+ years and she immediately goes back to jack? if she didnt love vlad and feels like she had to hide shit from him, and says she wasted her best years with him, WHY MARRY HIM. it feels like leading him on!!! cannot believe im feeling bad for vlad, but. this alternate timeline vlad is significantly Less Horrible than Our Vlad. did she not think she'd get funding for her ghost stuff? (which, fair assumption since they're considered 'ghost fanatics/nuts in canon...but...) why did she think jack or vlad would be her ONLY OPTIONS? be like your sister. be single. Actually, this au could’ve been really interesting if after the accident, vlad lied to her and said jack never wanted to see her again, but she stays single. Imagine how much that would bug vlad… like, in her mind, it was never a competition it was jack or no one type situation…

-danny being like 'leave him ALONE' this jack is a HOMEWRECKER, DANNY. let them go to court and settle this at the least. ...or just throw vlad into the portal. (100% human, defenseless vlad) CHRIST, MADDIE THATS BRUTAL. THATS MURDER.

-danny seeing his mom immediately accepting him and his dad being half ghosts in this universe, if I was him this would be a great sign that his universe's maddie would also.

-*maddie voice* "clockwork will help!" *2 seconds later, with clockwork* "I will Not Help." TOUGH LOVE KING. YES LET DANNY SEE THE SODA HIMSELF AND DEVOLP BETTER OBSERVATION SKILLS.

-when clockwork ""reset time to the way it was"" just before danny "meddled"" ...did he really erase a whole alternate timeline? ...damn. because maddie and danny both called it an alternate timeline by name, it splitting when the college incident went different, so it wouldnt have really mattered if he reset it, right. like because danny's timeline is on a different stream? why didnt clockwork just. show danny a replay and not Reset That Timeline. wh...I wonder how many people that Erased From Existence. Anyway! once again stating clockwork is casually terrifying!
