i think MK would mostly feel a sense of loss for the fact that in a way, things should have been like this, like when he “hatched” Wukong probably would have found him if it wasn’t for the fact someone or something brought it to Pigsy shop. He would have grown up with someone who could tell him how to be a stone Monkey and teach him his power. Surely, I think Wukong wouldn’t have been as good as a parent as Pigsy, and MK doesn’t regret a bit how things actually ended up happening, but it’s a bit of a case of “sometimes I imagine how my life would have been if it went this way”

Speaking of Eggdad I don't remember which video it was but it had Ian discuss how family bonding between Eggman and Sage would be destroying villages and subjugating the inhabitants HAPPILY together. Eggman and Sage are new team dark if anything. In fact, if we got a new Sonic Heroes type game it'd be so awesome if we got a playable Eggman team featuring himself truly, Sage, and Metal Sonic.

Yeah every time Flynn has talked about Eggman and Sage that I'm aware of, it's not without him explaining how Eggman has messed up perception and conditions behind his embracement of the dynamic, or emphasizing that they're still very much evil together. It's cool that he doesn't seem to play into the hyper pure wholesome fanon idea because of how the fandom mass misinterpreted it and clearly prefer it that way, when he very well could. Goes to show that it really was never actually the written intention of their real dynamic in the games

Because it just reiterates what we already see to be the case in the game already, with Eggman's dynamic with Sage being anything but traditional and in fact very self-centred and conditional with just as selfish motives as ever, and Sage clearly being on Eggman's side of evil even after her developments by staying by his side as he laughed at Sonic's cyber corruption death and the way she says the world is his to conquer. She's still very much evil and her development is only likely to make her more so to please her father and attempt to bond with him

So the idea that closest to family bonding is through that instead of all the traditional things/at least with an original evil twist on them in the very rare occasion that they might be is great. Eggman wasn't the type to suddenly get into tons of traditional domestic family activities to please someone who was literally created to serve him, so Sage instead joining in on all the things he already enjoyed doing before she existed and her just being happy to be included makes way more sense. And it's way cooler to think about what fun diabolical things they can get up to together!

It's fun to think about how they work together in business and schemes and happily destroying villages and subjugating inhabitants. Also how Eggman could indulge in his love for theme parks with her, not by wholesome trips to Disneyland but showing how they really should be with Eggmanland, twisted and deadly dangerous thrills. Same with carnivals. And with his love for circuses, he kidnaps and showcases stolen animals like Circus Park. And he said he could turn Sonic and co into toys for Sage to play with in The murder of Sonic, teaching her that people are their playthings

It is pretty much his answer to a new Team Dark, though he prefers the name Team Eggman now, probably because he considers himself the founder and creator of the original Team Dark and feels it was highjacked with him being cast out and replaced by Omega so he wants to assert extra hard that it's his this time so it won't happen again, can't forget who it belongs to or replace him when he's in the name lol. And then he can show how much better he can be on a team with his own superior creations built in his image instead of with Shadow and Rouge!

While it's funny that he had Zavok on his Team Eggman last time, reflecting his cush and obsession with the guy lol, Eggman and his own creations makes the most sense long term. The best way for him to team up with anyone is if they're his own obedient creations that won't - or literally can't ever think of betraying him with the programming like Metal (for the most part!) or have the genuine enthusiasm like Sage and most of the "teamwork" is really mostly them serving him and him getting all the benefits and glory. Metal and Sage are the perfect fit

Also if going by team types again, they don't fit into the Heroes team structure as none fit Flight type much but certainly fit the Team Sonic Racing one. Sage Technique, Metal Sonic Speed, and Eggman could be Power class again like he really always should be and would've been again if Zavok hadn't stolen that spot in TSR! Eggman being the brains and the brawn when be wants to join the action and show off his physical strength, Sage also being brains and skill with her programme abilities and Metal being the speedy killing machine he's always been

Diabolical dream (nightmare?) team there! XD They could get up to some great evil together!

Got a big plan, his mind's set, maybe it's right.

He knew it had to be tonight, there was no other day. He couldn't wait. It had to be tonight. The prom was going to be perfect. Everything was preparing perfectly, his plan, his sacrifice, his heart and the cool metal that wouldn't leave his body.

His car was already parked in front of her house. The streetlights illuminated the night as the door to his car opened and Charlie stepped out. The night was chilly but his fine white shirt under his black suit and the thicker fabric of his jacket made him feel nothing. Nothing except the anticipation inside him as his fingers ran over the doorbell and pressed.

In a whisper or a handshake sending a sign

They heard the doorbell ring downstairs and heard their mother's footsteps before she opened the door and let Charlie in. A smile came to her lips. Finally, the time has come they thought and took the lipstick in their hands. The gold cap almost flashed in the light before placing it on their lips and tinting them red.

Taking one last look in the mirror, Y/n stood up, their white dress almost leaving a veil. Before stepping out of their room and heading for the stairs. ,,Good evening" they said to Charlie who was looking up the stairs at them.

Y/n's hearts beat faster when they saw their dates. The suit suited him, the blue of his eyes seemed unwilling to let her go and his hair framed his face. He's beautiful they thought and went down the stairs. Carefully, careful not to fall. ,,You look wonderful" he said and pulled them into a gentle embrace.

The nervousness between them was palpable and their mother's sympathetic, happy gaze lingered on them both. ,,Have fun," the older woman said and waved to the two before the door closed.

Holding the door open for them, they thanked him and got in to sit in the passenger seat. ,,If you're too hot or too cold, please let me know," he said shortly after they had set off. ,,Yes," came over their lips only briefly, too nervous to say anything longer.

It's cute in a way, till you cannot speak

He looked over at Y/n from time to time. Saw how they looked from him, to the car, back to the outside. He saw their nervousness, their feelings, their questions and answers. Finally they will know he thought and his grip on the steering wheel tightened. The tingling under his fingers got harder and he had to pull himself together not to show them yet. They deserved it better. First he wanted to see them dancing in the light of the ballroom.

To take their soft hands and not dirty them yet. He wanted to hear their laughs and see their reactions. Lead them across the dance floor and see them. The evening would be perfect. Briefly his eyes darted to the car behind them.

He had noticed how it had been following him and her the whole time. ,,Are they following us?" he heard the slightly worried question and for a moment he wanted to reassure her that everything was alright. ,,Well, it's probably just a few of our classmates....certainly not Ghostface, who doesn't drive a car," he said and saw the brief smirk on their lips. Red as blood he thought and had the urge to kiss them. To take in the red and paint them and look at his work of art.

Or maybe this is danger and you don't know

They looked behind them again and saw the car coming closer before it changed lanes and passed them at a fast speed. Only to pull back into line too close in front of them. A nervous sound escaped them but inside they felt reluctance. They did not like it. They didn't like that someone had almost caused an accident because of alcohol or something else. ,,Are you all right?" they heard Charlie ask, looking over at them.

They nodded and said hastily, ,,Yeah, just a little scared...I can't stand that kind of thing," they admitted and saw the nod before he looked back at the road. ,,Neither can I" he replied and for a moment they thought something in his expression had changed. But it could just as well have been Y/n's imagination.

A few moments later they arrived at the school and got out. ,,May I?" he asked, offering them his arm before they hooked onto him. It was an exciting feeling to walk through the entrance. And to have a photo taken. Y/n smiled and pulled him closer and grabbed his hand. Looking uncertainly at him for the photo, they saw his loving gaze. Saw how he seemed to like it and smiled back at him.

Soft breath, beating heart

Their hands were so soft and his heart beat faster when he felt Y/n grab his hand. Even after the photo was taken, they did not let go of him. On the contrary, they both walked further into the hall, smiling, happy and proud. Past the other students and friends, past their place at the table.

On towards the dance floor. He was pleased that they trusted him so much. Just to pull me onto the dance floor he thought and felt the slight blush on his cheeks. But as the light hit her and illuminated them, their dress moved and Y/n's face radiated joy, it filled him.

With love. ,,You are perfect," he had said faster than he could think and would have liked to hold his hand over his mouth. He saw Y/n realise what he meant, saw an almost shy smile come to theirr lips. Their eyes turned away from his out of nervousness and they gave a soft, ,,Thank you...you too". A look that couldn't have been more full of love settled on his blue eyes.

Before he gently took their hands and pulled them into a rhythmic dancing movement. It's just the two of us he thought and saw how they dared more and more. Lifting their eyes again, looking at him and happily letting him lead them. Y/n gave herself to him and he enjoyed it all the more. How they didn't question it, just gave themself to him. Charlie felt the tingling in his body.

Everything was going to get even better. They were about to turn when he heard them say, ,,May I...you..." but he couldn't resist. He wanted to finally taste Y/n, finally feel them more. And interrupted them with a kiss. Their lips were soft and the short gasp from them almost made him lose his mind. He felt them pull him a little closer and not push him away. Before he broke away and his hand went to their cheek.

He saw how Y/n nestled against him and he knew that they wanted him. ,,Come, I have something for you," he whispered before taking them by the hand and pulling them behind him.

Told hom how she felt and then they locked in a stare

Y/n felt they would not let him go. It was perfect. His gentle kiss as he helped them overcome their nervousness. Looking at Y/n and dancing with them. He is so loving they thought as they walked beside him, watching him. The way he smiled slightly, his hand never letting go of theirs, his manner, he was perfect. Y/n only noticed in passing how the music grew duller the further they moved away from the hall.

The light grew dimmer and they walked through the school corridors. They saw them pass the classrooms and the cafeteria and seem to go further and further into the school. ,,I know you'll like it," Y/n heard him say and they felt the inner anticipation. "What do you think it is?" she asked herself and could hardly wait.

Y/n noticed him reaching into his pocket and pulling out the silver key to the film club room. ,,Is it a film?" they asked happily, seeing his slight shake of the head. ,,You'll see," he murmured and opened the door before holding it open for them. Before Y/n walked into the completely dark room and waited for Charlie to turn on the light to show them, their surprise. Y/n blinked slightly as the click was heard and the light flickered on. But the surprise was definitely different than their thought.

They took a step back, thought about it, what should they do?

His fingers slid to the light switch before he flicked it to finally show Y/n his surprise. He saw them take a step back, closer to him. Saw their hands clinging to Y/n's dress. Saw how they almost seemed to be holding their breath. Saw the fears. Saw their inner self. Before his hand went into his pocket and he finally felt the cool metal as he picked up the knife. He walked up to his love, put a hand on their shoulder and hugged Y/n from behind. Buried his head in the crook of their neck and took in their smell.

Fear mixed with love. ,,Do you like it?" he purred and looked at the surprise. ,,Ki-Kirby," he heard Y/n say as the blonde lay unconscious on the floor. Motionless, but the slight heaving of her chest betrayed that she was still alive. ,,I caught her just for you...she is the last thing that separates us," he murmured and heard the whimpering escape them. But he held his heart softly, gently pressed against him and not letting go.

His knife which pressed loosely against their body went up to Y/n's neck. It rested against the warm skin, but did not cut. ,,Wh-What do you want from me?" Y/n asked, stammering, but not daring to move. A chuckle came over his lips as he watched them with amusement. ,,You know very well...kill her and I am yours. One test and we can be together forever. Then we can leave here...then you are mine" he purred and left soft kisses on their neck as he led Y/n step by step closer to Kirby.

I wanna fucking tear you apart

Y/n's heart beat fast, their blood rushed through their ears and seemed to make them almost deaf. His voice echoed in their head and yet they hardly seemed to hear him. They were too focused on Kirby. Y/n saw that the blonde was still alive but the dull violence on her skin worried them. ,,You...you're Ghostface-you made them all disappear," they said, wincing when they heard him laugh. He was still gentle with them but there was something else in him.

Something they never knew he had in him. He seemed changed. Gentleness in a dark madness. ,,Bingo my love" he murmured and his grip on their fingers holding the knife tightened. ,,Don't tell me you don't hate her...she would have hit us with the car earlier. She took advantage of me-took advantage of you. For everything at school....think of the photos and videos" he said and they knew exactly what he was talking about.

The videos that had ended up on the net of Y/n puking their guts out after a party. They had killed the friendship since Kirby. They hated her. ,,But...I...can't just kill her" Y/n protested quietly, not knowing what to do. Not knowing if they should run away and try to call the police.

And lose him that way. Or to stay, to finally have found someone who loved them, to have someone who wanted them, to flee the city with him. To be free with their love Charlie Walker. ,,It's very simple...the flesh gives way so easily under the blade" he murmured to them and pushed Y/n gently but firmly to the ground. They felt the dull thud on the floor as their knees ached briefly before Y/n was down and only an arm's length away from Kirby.

Wanted to do things to her it was making him crazy

He gripped their hand even tighter and slowly brought the blade to Kirby's upper body. He knew only one thrust would be enough. One push with the knife and the metal would simply penetrate Kirby. ,,It's so easy," he said and pressed himself a little closer to them. ,,Do it," he murmured before helping them to stab. He felt the metal hurt her body and Kirby could do nothing but let it happen.

Y/n hardly seemed to notice that he had let go of their hand. Something seemed to have decided for them. As if Y/n finally understood how much he loved them. Just keep hugging them and murmuring sweet words to Y/n. ,,That's it, my love," he crooned, feeling the blood spattering on their dress and covering his hands as well. The brief warmth before the wet feeling came. Moments later the knife fell to the ground, clattering. Kirby was dead.

And his love trembled slightly before they breathed in and out loudly, almost fearfully. ,,I knew you could do it," he said, feeling her sticky, wet fingers tangling in his.

They hugged him back and pressed themself against him, almost relieved. ,,It's...fulfilling to know you're not alone," Y/n murmured with awe and he saw Y/n bring their hand to Y/n's lips. They traced the lipstick with the blood and then turned to him. ,,Let's go together," Y/n said and pulled him into a kiss.

He tasted the blood mixed with their sweetness and couldn't help but sigh. So perfect he thought aloud before they got up together and hurried out. Out of the back of the school where a car was already parked. ,,Come on, we don't have all day," Y/n suddenly heard Jill's voice from behind the wheel. ,,I told you we'd be safe," they heard Charlie say before they both got in and the car drove off.

Moments later, police sirens were heard, students ran out of the school and everyone was looking for the killer. Not knowing they were long gone. ,,Thank you...Charlie" he heard them say before they leaned against him and he gave them a gentle kiss on the top of their head.

But for today, since Bubbles is too squeamish to answer people’s questions about the world’s worst fangan, he generously agreed to allow me to provide the explanation instead! After all, I'm the one who's introduced him to every non-Another fangan he's ever played, so it's only fitting.

So, my friend, CAN YOUR HEART STAND TO HEAR THE SHOCKING FACTS ABOUT DANGANRONPA: THE WOLF'S GAME?!?!?!?

(I will try to keep this tale as sanitized as possible.)

Danganronpa: The Wolf's Game is a fangan that is written in a text format, but still uses picture sprites (rather like how ASOOT is written). They have videos for body discoveries and executions and stuff, but the rest is as I said. It's on Wordpress for the most part. Also there is a character with Cotard's syndrome just like in that fangan Bubbles sometimes works on and off on, but that's not really important.

The killing game itself is heavily inspired by the game "Ultimate Werewolf," so there are two masterminds hidden among the cast, called the Werewolves. The Werewolves are like the Voids, but with less people and no redeeming qualities. The developer, a fellow by the name of Aquamarino, once said that he wants DRWG to be the darkest fangan ever made, saying that he hopes that it can dethrone even SDRA2 in that department. This will be important going forward.

Now, by all accounts, the first two chapters weren't so bad. I haven't actually read them because I don't have time for this shit in my life, so I don't know how good they were, but there was no Bad Stuff in them. It's Chapter 3 when things took a sharp left turn into pukesville.

Several things happened in Chapter 3. To start with, one character was accused of actually being a famous serial killer in disguise (she wasn't) on the grounds that they looked similar, and she was bullied and gaslit so hard that eventually she actually believed that she was said serial killer. As a result, she became so overcome with guilt that she committed suicide by, I shit you not, throwing herself into a vat of acid.

Then the typical double murder happened, because we will never be free of that curse. One of the victims was found horrifically murdered in a bathtub, wearing nothing but her underwear, and it was revealed that whoever killed her also sexually assaulted her. FUN!

Now we come to the Chapter 3 trial. A trial which, I would like to note, originally had no trigger warnings on it whatsoever and only added these warnings after getting backlash. The fanbase, mind you, was mostly made up of minors, but it's okay because, to quote Aquamarino, "most have a very strong stomach!"

But what's so bad about this trial, you ask? Well, it turned out that one of the victims, the one who was supposedly assaulted, faked her own death/assault and was the actual culprit of the case. and also one of the aforementioned Werewolves. Specifically, she was the Twilight Werewolf, aka the Avatar of Sin, and her whole schtick is that she has committed every mortal sin ever. Yes, all of them. Including cannibalism. And all the sex crimes. And inciting nuclear war?? She has a whole list she goes through. Also, she SA'ed the corpse of the other victim, and while she explained this to the surviving students, she ate his leg right in front of them. Disgusting. Why does she do all this? What is her motivation? Got me. She really likes to sin, I guess. I'd say that this was written by an edgy teenager obsessed with grimdark, but Aquamarino is, like, 28.

(Also, her evil design is just atrocious. She wears a long red hood and nothing else. Her hair covers up the naughty bits.)

She talks about some executions she's done in the past that are so disgusting I will not even tell you what they were. All I will mention is that children were involved.

Here's the kicker: After all that, our heroes get to decide what to do with her. No less than FOUR of the remaining students suggest SA'ing her to death. These are supposed to be the good guys. (Thankfully, that's not what they end up doing, but still!)

And that's Wolf's Game Chapter 3! I'm sure Review Anon can go into a lot more detail if they ever decide to, but suffice to say, there's a reason it's considered by everyone who knows of it to be the worst fangan of all time.

Watching Randy practically drool over someone like (Y/N) felt so wrong and disgusting to Billy and Stu.

It felt even worse seeing that (Y/N) reciprocated these feelings but neither Randy or (Y/N) would admit their feelings for one another.

Billy and Stu hated this but it wasn't like there was anything they could do since they already had girlfriends.

Tatum and Sidney however, loved teasing both pining pair about each other, Tatum especially.

She'd make kissy faces at (Y/N) or start singing some stupid song kids sang about two people liking each other.

(Y/N) would always become flustered and embarrassed by this but Billy or Stu would tell Tatum to stop because she was making (Y/N) uncomfortable but it was actually because they didn't want Randy knowing that (Y/N) liked him back.

Randy's horrible attempts of flirting always made (Y/N) laugh, a sweet sound to all three boys ears but it turned sour to Billy and Stu when they remembered that Randy was the cause of it.

Soon they put the starting phase of their plan into action and killed Casey and Steve, which put everyone on edge, mainly it was meant to put Sidney on edge for the plan but both Billy and Stu wanted to change the plan to kill off Randy who had bee getting too close to (Y/N) recently.

Hell, during lunch (Y/N) asked Randy if they could stay at the video store with him then walk home together because they didn't want to be alone.

Which pissed of Billy and Stu but specifically Billy, since they could've asked the duo to walk them home but they choose stupid, stupid Randy.

So Billy and Stu decided to teach (Y/N) a lesson about liking people other than them.

That night

(Y/N) was flicking through tv channels looking for a good movie but the only thing on was stories about the two murders.

It made (Y/N) feel sick, so they turned off the tv.

As they got up to get themselves a small snack, the phone began ringing.

"Hello? Who's this?" (Y/N) carelessly answered.

"Do you like scary movies?" a deep voice asked for the other side of the line.

"Wow Randy. Way to give yourself away. But you already know this, I prefer action and romance movies." They answered.

"oh really now?" The other person spoke.

"That deep thingy you're doing with your voice is pretty hot Randy but I'm kind of hurt that you can't remember my favourite movie genres." (Y/N) admitted.

"What if I told you that this isn't Randy?" The other person questioned.

"Liar. You're so Randy. Stop trying to cover your tracks. But this prank call thingy you're trying is adorable. Is this another way for you to try to talk me more?" (Y/N) joked around.

"Like I said before, I'm not Randy " The other person repeated.

"Alright asshole. Then who the hell are you?" (Y/N) quizzed.

"Your future boyfriend" The other answered.

"Then you are Randy. Because Randy is the only person I like." (Y/N) replied with a dreamy sigh.

"THIS ISN'T FUCKING RANDY! YOU KEEP TALKING ABOUT THAT LITTLE BITCH AND WE'LL FUCKING GUT HIS ASS!" The person shouted.

(Y/N) then realized that this definitely wasn't Randy and hung up.

The phone began ringing again but (Y/N) ignored it and went to bed, not wanting to deal with any prank callers.

With Billy and Stu

"Fuck! They're not picking up!" Billy swore.

"Then why don't we pay them a little visit?" Stu suggested with a malicious grin.

Billy smirked and they both slipped on their costumes before sneaking over to (Y/N)'s house.

They saw her peacefully sleeping and were almost tempted to leave her be but wanted to go through with the plan.

Billy entered the room and began stroking (Y/N) cheek with his knife before firmly placing it on their neck but not harshly enough to make them bleed.

Stu was outside taking pictures of the whole ordeal, thinking it would be fun to look at later.

Billy pinched (Y/N)’s cheek hard enough for them to wake up to a knife being held to their throat.

"Scream and you'll fucking die. Understood?" Billy threatened, using the voice changer.

"yes" (Y/N) quietly croaked out.

"I'm only gonna say this once. stay away from Randy Newman. Or that little bitch is gonna be next on the chopping block." He told his trembling victim.

"Okay" (Y/N) whispered as they heavily trembled.

Eventually they passed out from stress and panic, which made it easy for Billy's escape.

Days passed and (Y/N) distanced themselves from Randy.

Billy and Stu had never been so proud of themselves.

Maybe they didn't always have to kill people too close to (Y/N) because it seemed that a little threatening with a knife worked just fine.

7th ROTG anniversary. Time to get emotional.

I never written this down, but now I feel the need due to the intense nostalgia and the notice of how quickly time is fleeing. I have a tale to tell, I need to share my story about how this film changed my life. Warning: it's long.

Brief into: I believed in the Santa, Easter Bunny (I really wanted in the Toothfairy too and unfortunately never heard about Jack or Sandy) even when I was 10. (Which was considered pretty old to believe) I even got into an argument with my teacher in the 3rd grade because she said 'stop being childish, they aren't real' because I was excitedly whispering with my classmate about catching the Santa this year. A boy, who ironically looked exactly like Jack Frost began endlessly teasing me and calling me stupid for still thinking he's real. On the way back home with mom I confronted her about this, not giving up until she told me whenever he was right or not. Backed into a corner, she was forced to give up. I cried every day for weeks. The magic was ripped away from me.

Year 2012, December. I'm 11 and a victim of hardcore bullying since my whole life. Students, teachers and sometimes parents. To cheer me up, mom took me to the shopping center to watch a movie. We couldn't really decide & she saw a giant poster of North smiling at people. Her eyes lit up and excitedly said 'Let's watch that! ' I followed the direction of her finger and my face scrunched in malice "I am not watching a movie with the Santa. Its stupid. I'm a big girl, I want to watch a bloody action movie! " but she was unbending. She could bribe me into it with a large bowl of popcorn; I was still grumbling when the lights went out.

The change: first snowflakes, first notes of the piano worked like magic. I immediately shut up and wondered what actually happens here. Why is it so soothing? At the first few shots of the North Pole when North is working on the ice train, I jumped in my seat and I shit you not, I thought the Santa is actually getting murdered. My eyebrow rose higher when I realized that guy with the chainsaw and swords is the Santa. Unfortunately, I can't remember more first reactions; stress, depression, traumas really ruined my long term memory. It seems silly now, but I kept the last piece of popcorn what I was munching on during it, I still have it in a little jewel box; one of my sacred memories. The car ride back to home was quiet, I was staring out of the window my mind stirring with creativity.

Aftermath: 2013-2018; while my classmates were busy getting drunk, being a petty bitch, giving oral in the toilet, (yes. I am talking about elementary school.), getting laid, I was lost in a world of wonder. I learnt 60% of my English knowledge in 3 months with reading fanfiction. I browsed deviantart for hours and laughed my ass off at the hilarious, extremely well done fanarts.

I grew up on mostly Blackice videos I wasn't 100% aware what I'm actually seeing tho, I was exposed to gay ships from a young age and plot twist, nothing serious happened😀. My mental health wasn't shit because I saw the Bogeyman and the Winter spirit kiss.

I began talking to the Moon. I cried my pain to him. Sitting on my windowstill, debating whenever I should jump or not. My extraordinarily strong bond with my mom and this film were my only lifeline. I was making it through, in my own world. My imagination created wonderful sights, scenarios; at nights I was certain I can spot Sandy on his cloud, at Christmas North trying to push himself out of the chimney cussing, at Easter that enormous bunny running around, at winters mostly yelling at Jack 'get out of my country' because I'm a summer person, going to school on a chilly yet sunny autumn day and see Pitch standing on the edge of the misty forest.

I began to change, respond to the pressure from my bullies. My personality began to morph. See the wonder in everything; like North. There's hope and spite, don't dare to give up; like Bunny. Awaken and enjoy creativity; like Sandy. Shit on the rules and have a damn good time no matter what; like Jack. Cherish memories and friends; like Tooth. Be ruthless and stand up from the most brutal blows; like Pitch. And never forget, the Moon will always be there even when he's an antisocial dick and says nothing.

My aim, my dream was to write the sequel. When I was done I wanted to send it to William Joyce. I wrote 200+ pages, but unfortunately in Hungarian. I still don't know why I stopped, why I abandoned that plan.

I was looking for ROTG posters because I wanted to email them to my friend to show what I've been obsessed with. I was just lazily staring at a Pitch poster, realizing his V neck actually never closes - then my eyes crossed the date: November 21. I let out an ungodly shriek of disbelief and mirth. Mom rushed into the living room with terror and met with the sight of me screaming in ecstasy "RISE OF THE GUARDIANS CAME OUT ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!! "

Around 2016 I became really interested in this roleplay stuff and oh god I was terrible. Cindy Flame then was an always angry Mary sue but after years of practice, expanding she is a completely built, extremely complex character, flawed, strong, tragic and ruthless; divine yet oh so human. So I was making friends online, most of them failed, I think one of them committed suicide but that belongs to an another story.

I have been lurking Tumblr for 3 years? More? Because I had no idea how this site worked and I was shy because I thought my writing is not good enough I realize now I felt right. I admired blogs from afar, read their writing and falling deeper and deeper into this fandom.

Nearing present day: I actually came to Tumblr to pursue a friend of mine. I was borderline desperate because I've thought they are one of the last one in the fandom and it scared me. The fun thing is, I actually never interacted with them after making this blog. So I break this two year old spell and hi @kingofnxghtmares it's me, Jasmine😊 You don't have to answer/interact/or anything, I wanted to get everything off my chest and finally tagging you just felt right.

So now I'm on Tumblr. And I love every second it. I've found amazing friends, insanely dynamic muses, crack threads, angst, the chance to expand my muse even more and where I belong. So there I am, wondering where 7 years went. I've grown up (somewhat), and I'm glad I was protected from the 'disaster teenage years ', drinking, heartbreak, drugs, etc instead I grew up in a magical world interviewed with reality so closely; it became an escape place when reality became too heavy.

About ROTG & finale: masterpiece. The animation is insanely lifelike yet fantasy. Every tiny, microscopic detail is perfect, the characters, the storyline, the atmosphere original and capturing. The music is gut wrenching. Everything is absolutely, 200% on point. I don't think there ever will be an animated movie which can be better than Rise of the Guardians animation and/or storywise. No 'love is the answer ' movies can ever come close this iconic masterpiece no matter how they rip it off looking at Frozen 2😒

I watched it today (I have it in Spanish as well and I only can encourage everyone to watch it, the Spanish voice acting is, 100% in my opinion Pitch's bested Jude Law, damn that rich hiss of malice was incredible ) on my 18th birthday while cuddling with mom, laughing and heavy with nostalgia. I think I will remain in this fandom for a very long time, I don't think I would ever be able to let it go due to my deep emotional ties. I would like to thank everyone who were present in making this film, the artists who still keep this fandom alive, all of my friends, roleplay partners; thank you for brightening my childhood, giving me purpose and a place to belong.

OKAY BUT THERE WAS A VIDEO COMPARING CHLOE TO REMY BUXAPLENTY AND I'M SO UPSET

I WAS ABOUT TO SCREAM BUT I THINK I FOUND THE ONE YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT AND-

Honestly, he brings up good points, and also reminds me just why I loved Remy as a side antagonist. This show is NOT a story driven show, and is meant to be one off things, hence why trying to piece together continuity can be a bit difficult, as well as figuring out time and when and where certain episodes take place. And this “character clash” actually just points out more why Chloe IS a Mary Sue.

Remy can STILL be relatable, and like the guy mentioned, the addition of him was relatively natural (at least, the addition of a new Fairy since he HAD a past history with Wanda, and a bit with Cosmo). Not to mention, while these boys WON’T really admit it, as the show never truly delves into how DARK is can actually be perceived and could have gone, they have a lot in common.

Both with neglectful parents who rarely give them any sort of attention a child NEEDS, especially at such a young age. He hides his pain behind envy of another boy he thinks has a perfect life, and by spending his parents’ money. Not to mention, all of Remy’s ways to one up Timmy in things he likes and is typically good at are through his own words and actions. He continuously appears everywhere where Timmy is JUST to one up him. He doesn’t NEED other characters to talk about HOW great or rich or better he is; the audience can already be shown that. It’s the whole “show don’t tell” which is no longer prevalent or even CLOSE to prevalent to Chloe in season 10.

After watching the first episode of season 10, and this person’s character clash, Chloe doesn’t SHOW us why she’s a GOOD or BETTER character; we’re just TOLD this by Crocker, Mr. Turner, and Jorgen. We just HEAR about how perfect and great she is. And at that point, you just don’t care. And it’s really OOC for Timmy to just HATE a person just because they seem perfect; maybe annoyed, but never full out hate.

And that’s another thing: he didn’t hate Remy. He was just confused and annoyed this one random kid kept showing up and showing HIM up, and wanted answers. It’s still a mystery as to WHY Remy kept popping up to one up Timmy (I know the fandom loves thinking it’s because of a crush but eh- maybe he just assumed that’s HOW you make friends…just show off how much better you are…doesn’t make sense to me but more than a crush), but whatever. Also, after all that, the kid also tries to make Timmy LOSE his Fairies, but Timmy still doesn’t HATE this kid.

He’s scared of Remy’s reappearance in Remy Rides Again because he thinks Remy is gonna tell people about his Fairies. He’s relatively indifferent to Remy in The Big Bash and DOES seem to want a friendly competition with the kid. And in Operation F.U.N, Timmy seems to trust Remy considering they HAD a truce towards the end of the previous episode mentioned. They had development, and while I wish they had one or two more episodes (before they made that…other Remy in season 9 who is an imposter) just to see how Timmy would react to Remy around considering he kinda tried to KILL Cosmo and Wanda at the last episode he was in.

Not to mention, seeing the general progression on Remy’s unhealthy obsession with causing Timmy’s life to turn into pure, bitter misery out of envy and spite, to the point of pretty much murder. Like, there wasn’t anyway around that in his last episode- he was about to outright blow up Cosmo and Wanda and felt NO remorse. At this point, anything to ruin Timmy’s life so he can have this sense of temporary joy and accomplishment. 

It’s kinda tragic given the fact they COULD have been close, could have been FRIENDS, but Remy’s too blinded by jealousy to even think of the idea of being friends with Timmy. And sadly, I’m not sure how willing Timmy would be EITHER after Remy tried to kill his Fairies.

Chloe ain’t got none of that interesting traits, and while I GUESS some critics about the Chloe Haters can use a comparison for her and Remy as a weak argument, you can easily debunk it when you delve into Remy’s actual character, his actions, his motives, and his relatability. There ARE people who hide behind anger, money, and jealousy to hide actual suffering. People, REAL PEOPLE, show who they are by their actions. Who they REALLY are because if we relied on EVERYTHING someone said about one person, who knows what kinda trouble you get into.

A person trusts their gut instincts more than the word of another; even someone trusted. Even if you say you trust someone A LOT, you almost always trust your gut more than anything. 

Also, again, Chloe fucking sucks.

Anyway, I thought it was mind blowing on the point that the current story is almost always being narrated by Bum, so perhaps all the images are in Bum's perspective--which makes complete sense to why Sangwoo is always 'yaoi' sized compared to poorlittle Bum. Firstly,here’s the rest of the asks: 

To move onto my question, actual penetration seems to be the next step between Bum and Sangwoo in their 'physical relationship'. But part of me thinks that Sangwoo will never do it with Bum. Many times in the past chapters, Sangwoo has expressed dislike for homosexuals. Hell, he even dresses Bum as a country gal to (imo) remove any masculinity from Bum and sort of 'project' this image that Sangwoo is holding hostage a woman, not a man (imo again). 

There was only one time (I think) during a sexual act when Bum and Sangwoo exposed their dicks to each other, which was that one BJ scene where Bum gets Sangwoo off and pulls out his own dick. Honestly I can't remember if that was accurate or not cuz it's very hard for me to read those earlier chapters (I get so nervous and disturbed omfg). But going back to that BJ scene, Bum is still dressed like a girl as well.

So for my question (finally) I know you said that Sangwoo will /most likely/ give Bum some sort of sexual reward after all this, but do you think that Sangwoo will some how 'feminine Bum' in order to justify their sexual acts? Perhaps slapping that bra onto Bum?? Another question that just came into my mind was this.. it's goes back to your point about how Sangwoo looks so much bigger and whatnot.

You've said that you're not a sensitive person in your post and I also agree with that for myself. I've seen a lot of things in the past and I don't get too affected by it all. I usually can shrug off things pretty easily. But what I can't shrug off is rereading those earlier chapters.

As I stated in my past question, I get deeply disturbed and really anxious even /thinking/ about the situation that Bum is going through (don't get me started with the arc where Sangwoo was acting kind to Bum--I was hyperventilating the entire time). Do you think that because the story is most likely viewed through Bum's eyes, that the anxiety and panic or any emotion anyone gets when reading these chapters is a mirror to Bum's?

It's probably an obvious answer but I'm curious to reading your response. And also, if you believe that it is a mirror, what about during the short time Ji Eun took control of the narration? Is there something different? Sorry again if these are stupidly long asks and that I spammed you with all of them, but you pose such good analysis that I feel like I wanna dive deep with you on it as well LOL... ANYWAY THAT'S IT I'M GONE NOW LOL.

Secondly - hehe, thank you! I really am enjoying this even if it is slightly embarrassing how much I think about all this stuff. It’s interesting because nowadays I don’t normally need to wait for anything - media wise (except videos games but that’s on me). Like, with Netflix, all the episodes come out at one time and there’s no time for speculation or analysis. Until YOI, I hadn’t waited on anything, so I found myself reading a lot of meta and analysis and I guess I figured this is the time to get involved and do my own.

Thirdly, this is a great ask, and there’s stuff in here I hadn’t really thought about and there stuff in here that I have so I’ll do my best with both of those.

So that next step question? It’s an interesting one, and one that I don’t have any final opinion on, but rather a few directions I could see where it could go. Because you’re right, Sangwoo is homophobic and that does manifest in the sexual encounters with Bum. And yet, he also just clearly doesn’t give a fuck as long as he’s getting something out of it. So it’s a very unique mindset to be in when it comes to sex. Because nothing outside of how Sangwoo thinks, feels or reacts matters. He’s not completely homophobic because society, as a whole, tends to be homophobic. But because he sees it as a... difference? weakness? something to take advantage of and look down on. Like for him, it’s just so weird that this little freak likes men wow he’s such a freak but that also this freak surprises me and will do anything for me and I’m into it.

So the panel that keeps coming to mine is the “have you even had sex yes” panel with the dildo. And that concerns me because, well for one, Bum has had sex - and I don’t think a single time has that sex been consensual - just rape. And he and SANGWOO have had sex? And I sort of talked about this before, but clearly Sangwoo doesn’t consider what they’ve as “sex” despite it definitely being yes. So maybe he’s just one of those penetration=sex or maybe what he and Bum are is completely outside of anything he would normally define. I’m not sure. 

So, my concerns lie in how does Sangwoo expect Bum to participate in this sexual portion of the murder? If he involved Bum as anything more than shock value for Jieun or will he try to have him lose his supposed virginity? Eh, probably not but maybe. And I realize I’m not answering your actual question here so let me get to a point.

I, personally, hope that “penetrative sex” is not the next step in their sexual relationship. Now - or ever. Because Sangwoo will hurt Bum. There is no gosh darn way he knows how to sleep with other men. He’s probably never even heard of lube - women are supposed to be doing all the work for him here. Plus, prep and going slow, like we have literally just seen how little time or care he takes when sleeping with someone because with Jieun he sort of just gets right in there - at least according to my reading of their intercourse. Time is a funny thing when it comes to sex scenes though. But, to get to your point, penetrative sex sort of makes sense when it comes to Sangwoo and his idea of power and control and homophobia. He simply wants to Bum submitting to him. That’s really what any sort of sexual interaction with Bum requires, I think? 

But you bring up a good, and interesting point. Bum has never been sexually naked in front of Sangwoo. And I think that’s on purpose. But not necessarily because Bum being naked would remind Sangwoo that he’s in fact, a man, but he had no problems messing around with his flat chest before. So the lack of boobs aren’t an issue. Instead, it might be more, he just doesn’t consider Bum’s pleasure a priority. He just assumes Bum’s gonna get all the pleasure he needs out of pleasing Sangwoo and that’s not really Sangwoo’s priority to solve.

So if he and Bum do have sex again post-Jieun (and I expect they will) it’s important to note that it’s not really a “reward” for Bum. But rather something Sangwoo will want to do because he feels close and intimate with Bum and wants to get his rocks off again, and Bum is expected to go along for the ride. And that’s the thesis of this. I’m so sorry how much I ramble. I guess, in short, the feminization won’t really... come into play here? Or rather it will but because submission is the key.

To your second question, I’ll put the thesis right up front.

AB-SO-FREAKING-LUTELY. Like, y’all, that’s the entire point of reading this story. And that’s why I started off my whole meta series over how GOOD Koogi is as a story-teller because she does a near flawless job of getting you into Bum’s head/mind without you having a single clue. Why were we all so upset at Sangwoo sleeping with Jieun? I even admitted if gave me the actual feeling of that time I was cheated on because for us, we had just been cheated on too, through Bum. Even though, taking even half a step back - um, they are not in a romantic, consensual, healthy relationship. Sangwoo can and will have sex with whomever we wants. But for Bum, not one whole chapter ago he made Sangwoo tell him what he and Jieun had done together. And for him, his assurance that Sangwoo had not slept with Jieun has been both betrayed and thrown right in his face, can we’re only getting a taste of that betrayal. Bum is breaking, and we are along with him. 

I can’t decide if I think Bum knows what’s coming. If he’s going to have to help kill her. I have a feeling he doesn’t, especially now when the fact he’s watching Sangwoo sleep with her is all he’ll be able to process, and obsess, and destroy himself over. 

Every step of the way, we are meant to feel a little what Bum feels. That’s good, psychological horror at its finest. All of our sane rational selves know that this story is horrific, and abusive and something none of us would want any real part of. But hip hip hooray this is fiction and the point of fiction is to explore parts of ourselves (and I mean this holistically, like us a species) in situations and relationships and terror that we hope  to never find ourselves in. That’s why humans have told stories since the dawn of time (and to like, pass down history and shit but you get my point).

And as far as Jieun, I mentioned it briefly before, but Jieun is 10000000% a foil/mirror for Bum. Break down their roles in the narrative and they are the EXACT. SAME. PERSON. Both love(d) Sangwoo, they’re devoted to him. They WANT him. Both have consciously placed themselves right into Sangwoo’s hands. And like, think about that dinner scene. People are making such a fuss because Jieun is being “mean” to Bum. But she’s acting like literally anyone would. She’s acting like Bum would if the roles were reversed. Nevermind, she’s acting like Bum IS ACTING because they’re both jealous, and possessive and wanting Sangwoo’s attention and affection. 

We got into her head because narratively, we’re basically still in Bum’s. No, Jieun and Bum are not the same person. But the distinction we’re meant to see, I theorize, will be the moment when Jieun finds out who Sangwoo really is. I seriously doubt she’ll react like Bum did. I imagine she’ll reject Sangwoo instead of getting on her knees and confessing love for him - like she even has the opportunity. 

I admit to being a little bit disturbed by the fandom’s overall reaction to Jieun. But in the same note, I doubt most are stepping back to see her as a mirror to Bum because Bum doesn’t see that. He sees her as a threat to him and to his relationship with Sangwoo. So I get the defensiveness on the part of the fandom, especially since most of y’all seem to be pretty young and it’s hard for your brains to take a step back. Hope that doesn’t offend, but it’s true because I was a teenager once too and I know what it’s like. lol.
