FINALLY Introducing : Sonic Emerald Guardians AU
SO. I've never actually shown this outside of discord yet. I said I'd post everything about it in April 2022... and then I didn't and it's now July 2023 so it's high time I followed through !! Nothing about it is finished yet, and it's my first big public project so please be nice ?
Yes, so what's it actually about ?
Well to be concise, it's the whole game series but rewritten with new laws to the world and a consistent canon ! ( yes, quite the endeavor ) What's chaos energy ? What are rings ? Inhibitor rings ? Deities ? How do the characters' powers work ? All that good stuff.
That's pretty much it really, basically I'm trying to flesh out the worldbuilding to overthinking limits.
Telling you right now : the bulk of the work I've done on it so far is character design explorations and a currently 17 pages-long google doc with all the lore ( and it's nowhere near done ), with on the side some short drabbles and a wip timeline mind map.
The end goal is to make this a sort of abstract fancomic, spanning about one game per issue maybe ? We'll see. In the meantime I'm working on more character designs, and thinking about their stories and stuff.
Hopefully you guys enjoy whatever this is !
I'm gonna be posting the digital art I've done for this daily starting today until it runs out. The earlier of these are pretty outdated sadly but whatever. There's a bunch of trad doodles of the AU but I haven't scanned or photographed them so that's gonna have to wait :/

sorry i don't post much rewrite stuff but i promise i'll yap if prompted to i'm just like a vampire i have to be Invited in before i can do shit. i want to talk more about my rewrite i promise i am just shy and prefer to be Asked to speak before i yap insanely. yay here's the layout of my worldbuilding page on the mcd notion but the twist is that i'm only 1/4 of the way through and its already massive.
essentially this is all pre-cursor to the Actual mcd rewrite. the mys rewrite has a title but mcd doesn't (yet) and whats in this notion page specifically is literally everything leading up to the start of mcd s1 and still needs celestial cannon lore added in there too. i had to come back to this stuff to start my more relevant mystreet rewrite because of the realm lore + demon warlock origins + abominations and anomalies. there's another continent slash country there but i'm not entirely certain on its name so it remains blank. but still. nowhere near done. but its a task i'm excited for.
point is ermmmhmmhmmmmmm i dont know how to tag rewrite posts because mcd does not have a title yet so idk what to tag it with. and there will probably be an Overarching title above the mys and mcd ones. but that's a future me problem ummmmm ill just leave this untagged and whoever sees it sees it.

Okay but I do need you to be thinking about twewy aus 👀
OKAY....... OKAY.............
we have a lot more options now if you include NEO worldbuilding, but i've always thought of AUs in terms of adhering to Shibuya's rules from OG twewy, because it's basically the perfect formula for examining a character (which is exactly the point, after all).
what's the most important thing to this character? and what happens to them when you take it away?
who is their partner? how well do they work together? what partner could you give them that would stretch them the furthest?
what kind of psych(s) would they be able to use? what's their Imagination level?
what do they choose if they win? might they rather become a Reaper than come back to life?
literally just: what are their biggest character flaws and how would you hammer them out in the span of a week?
my first instinct for Ehryu in particular is to make her voice her entry fee and then stick her with Zenos. 8') her voice is also the obvious choice for her psych though, so i'm not sure what direction to take it!!!
but Zenos is really the one person it would kill her to work with. even though yes, the end of Endwalker happened, that was just fighting. having to actually talk to him and spend time with him would definitely challenge her impulsivity and stubbornness. not being able to talk to him would actually mitigate that challenge though lol, so maybe it wouldn't work very well with her voice as entry fee?
i'll have to take a lot more time to figure out the best combination of circumstances!!! the one thing i'm absolutely 100% sure of is that she wants to come back to life. she's nowhere near done yet.

Fai's Fic Ramble: The GorseTale AU (bare basics)
Ever since roughly... 2017 I think, there been a single Undertale fanfic I've been tapping away at and though it's nowhere near done or even organised enough for me to think about posting chapter 1 on A03, I recently posted a spinoff fic related to it called Eight Coloured Picture about the deaths of all the fallen humans and how some monsters each time were effected by their passing, and well.
I wanna ramble about the main story that fic comes from for a bit!
So.
Working Title: 'Gorse, Blackthorn and Buttercups' I also call it GorseTale in my head for short since Gaijin Goombah's rather fun video on why Undertale's Golden Flowers are most likely Gorse was a HUGE inspiration for the fic back when I started out (it's er changed quiet a bit since then but I'm keeping the flower vibes because Chara likes them and I did way too much research into both practical and symbolic uses for plants in the Underground for this fic not to use at least some of it at some point XD).
Core premise: Story is a Slice of Life/Drama AU set around Frisk being born in the Underground and taken in by Toriel right around the time of 'Undertale canon' (for Undertale Yellow fans, roughly a year or so after Clover's death), and through a series of domino effects stemming from that, various monsters of the Underground are confronted with the flaws of both themselves and their kingdom, and as a result start putting in effort to try fixing things so the little human child they've become so attached to can actually live their life to the fullest without fear of being murdered just for being born a non monster.
Aka: Toriel and Sans experience the joys and terror of co-parenting a child who only survives past the age of 3 because they have phenomenal cosmic power. Papyrus discovers the Royal Guard is NOT in fact something he wants to join (and accidentally becomes politically active in an effort to right by his new nibbling). Undyne takes some time to really rethink her career path and motives. Alphys somehow manages to turn former mistakes into miracles (oh and cures death maybe). Mettaton learns to take time off and share the spotlight, and finally King Asgore gets a surprising amount of hope in encouraging peaceful rebellion against his own accidental dictatorship.
Main cast: Rotates a bit since every major monster (and Flowey) matters in this and who's most in focus depends on the exact arc but Toriel, Sans, Papyrus, Chara and Frisk are the ones who I have the most planned scenes for since well, they're where the 'domino effect' starts.
Ships: Fic is pretty gen for the most part but leaning Undyne/Alphys, Papyrus/Mettaton (who knew all Paps needed to become popular was to openly try convincing monster kind that killing all the humans is wrong in front of a very specific underground star XD), and some very very very slowburn Sans/Toriel (is teased throughout the story because Sans IS Frisk's other parent Sans just means 'Dad' in Frisk speak and I find various Monsters' "Wait Sans has a kid- Wait Sans is married?!" reactions hilarious (Paps giving 'context' to why he suddenly has a nibbling to Undyne especially) but actual, real Soriel doesn't happen until near the very end because Toriel is Not Ok, Sans leans AroAce/Demi and both agree that while the odd kiss, hug or 'real talk' is fine neither up for anything more than that right now. Also Toriel has yet to get a formal divorce and er, she can't even think of him for much of the fic without wanting to set him on fire so... Yeah). Also considering Mad Mewmew/Asgore (because funny but also oddly sweet), and Mettaton trying to get over a crush on Alphys at the start (due to Mettaton's Winter Alarmclock dialogue reframing all of Mettaton's actions in canon in a whole newlight for me), but for the most part romance really isn't a focus.
Things to set it apart from every other 'Frisk grows up in the Underground' fanfic:
A LOT of worldbuilding focus on stuff how monsters get food and materials.
Toriel teaching everyone how Monster society was before the War vs now (aka lots of cultural trauma themes here).
More emphasis on how little Monster society these days really knows about things they really should given their Kingdom's plans.
Sans 'timeline trauma' getting tossed out the window for joining Toriel in 'worried parent' stress (hard to be upset about LOADS when they're specifically stopping a toddler you love from getting murdered).
Papyrus accidentally making everything better just because for the sake of his nibblet he can't back down.
FLOWER SYMBOLISM AND DISCUSSING THE UNDERGROUND'S VERY IMPORTANT PLANT LIFE!
Undyne having a character growth arc triggered by Papyrus.
Mettaton having a character growth arc triggered by Papyrus (and a passing mention of Napstablook).
Alphys not being fired post Amalgamite reveal making her realize she has in fact actually kinda created the cure for death (by 'Falling Down') or at the very least is only maybe three steps away from that and actually works on that alongside a bunch of other stuff with other scientists because working alone sucked.
Lots of focus on the humans who fell before Frisk because their lives mattered! and also the Blue Soul was Kris because damn if I don't feel the need to really hammer in Toriel's trauma caused by Asgore here
NarraChara and Napstablook being ghost buddies =D they suck at it but Chara will take literally anyone who can hear them for company and Napstablook feels bad about that
Snowdin being secretly a hub of human sympathisers! (None of them knew they weren't the only ones).
MONSTER RADIO and ANIME/WESTERNS ON TV!
Tems and the Riverperson mattering while still being true to their very weird selves!!!
Asgore learning that he DOES in fact have a lot of influence and that maybe, juuust maybe, that his screw ups were worse for his Kingdom than he already thought (don't worry Asgore fans, despite my having to write a lot of Asgore grr due to Toriel being a major character, saving him and showing how much he loves his people is a major goal of mine <3). He still f%cked up majorly though XD
Frisk dealing with, well, the stress of growing up in a place that says their death would make everyone (except their immediate loved ones) happy and constantly having to live in hiding/disguise...
Flowey being a murderous little shit but also not having reset power and both Frisk and Chara in his life again.
Undertale Yellow and Deltarune characters! Who probably won't be in focus a lot but they've helped me out a ton for fleshing the out my setting so I will 100% be giving them at least a little screen time to make up for that (like Amalgamate Kanako playing with Frisk, and Martlet and Noelle being VERY interesting in Papyrus's 'Lets not kill the humans' movement for reasons our main characters will eventually learn <3).
Oh and a huge amount of 'Unseen in game' areas I made for the Underground which include:
SnowDen: a 'town' of Dog and Rabbit made tunnels underneath the ENTIRE Snowdin region (connects to every dog sentry post, the 'Toby Fox secret area' and the 'very efficiently laid out' travel tunnels seen in canon Undertale). Generally requires those living there to get through given how winding and confusing the tunnels can get (all guideposts are puzzles made with scent markers...).
TooHot: basically a 'lethal lava land' housing district for fire monsters below general Hotland. Predates the Wat and is too hot for most non fire monsters to go anywhere near (the current name was given by Asgore though).
Cliffstop: a 'thin' vertical crevice monsters in New Home unearthed a while back that goes from from all the way to the very top of Mt Ebott down to the dark of the Abyss below (locals there call the top of the area Clifftop and the lowest safe for travel Cliffdrop). Gets a fair bit of sun and has flying room so it's popular with plant and flying monsters but the cliffs are very unstable so the bottom is covered in rope nets to prevent accidents. Most puzzles about the place are moving rope bridges, loading up vertical conveyer belts with the correct weights and 'light and mirror' puzzles.
Riverfolk Waterway and True Tem Village: settlements hidden deep within Waterfall's 'unreachable in canon' winding waterways. The former is a small inlet where 'Riverfolk' monsters like the Riverperson have a small collection of boathouses they dock at, and the later is exactly what is sounds like, with the 'Temmie Village' we see in canon being merely a Temmie trading outpost. Can accessed only by Riverperson boat or the Temmie's secret tunnels and is home to all sorts of cool things like the Temmie 'Colleg' and 'DEEP HISTORY mUSEEum'~ XD
WebbInn 'the Spider district': Mostly a giant communal spider web hanging Hotland's ceiling but also connected to a tunnel that goes up near Mt Ebbot's peak (the spiders have been digging upwards in hopes of getting a 'sunspot' they can use to advertise their 'sweet little town' to tourists). Has a... Very distinctive culture compared to the rest of the Underground and the 'puzzles' there tend towards being 'social' in nature (aka fey logic games where how you speak and act gets you directed every which way).
Starlite Strip: A little connecting area right underneath the path/cliff Monster Kid and Frisk see the castle while travelling through Waterfall in Undertale Canon. Not a big settlement on its own but something of a trading hub for monsters from New Home and the surrounding areas in Waterfall to buy and sell goods (also has a LOT of Royal Guard presence which is why absolutely no one in Undertale recommends it to the very human Frisk). Very sparkly but in a gentle 'crystals, glowing water and fire flies' kinda way.
And... Yeah. Wanna post a full script of what I've got planned so far but this post is already massive so will do that in a bit.
Will say though that the general ending plan for this fic arguably goes full fix fic with:
12-14 year old Frisk comes out as human publicly and goes through the entire Underground arguing their case (something the Underground has been publicly debating for the last 10 years or so thanks to a very motivated Papyrus and a wanting more ratings + genuinely interested Mettaton).
Undyne attempts to kill them but well, she's only going all out because she and Paps had a deal about this (he vowed that he'd defend any innocent human from her killing them so she could still go all out at her job) and Frisk knows that.
Mettaton gets to do THE biggest and most historically important interview in the Underground's history.
Asgore declares that the Underground will try out this whole 'everyone in the kingdom votes' thing on both the upcoming war and how they will treat humans living here because he wants to make sure he's doing what his people want (Mettaton asks what Asgore will vote but Asgore, finally realizing his own influence, refuses to say).
Asgore and Frisk spend a nice, if slightly nervously time together drinking tea and talking about the future while the votes are being counted. (Toriel and others may join them but mostly this is Asgore getting to know... the last of Toriel's adopted children she told him about the others when she asked for a divorce).
Monsters choose wisely because for all this fic is 'Monsters are flawed too!' they are good people and I want to make that clear <3
Cue Frisk publically trying to help break the barrier while being very alive...
Flowey pulling a 'God of Hyper Death' except well, he, Frisk and Chara maaay have discussed a bit of this beforehand (Flowey did want the souls and this would get him them), so er, the fight might be a touch more mixed with genuine anger and playfulness. Note: Still working out the exacts.
The human SOULs get brought back to life as monsters while Flowey gets a SOUL of his own and Chara gets enough magical matter to be visible to people other than Frisk (it required less waste of the accumulated magic, the soul of an additional human another girl falling into the Ruins was what got Frisk deciding to come out actually, the kids using a bunch of Alphys' furthered research on the interplay between Determination, matter and Dust, and breaking down the dead humans' bodies for enough 'compatible matter' to work with, and the destruction and repurposing of the Barrier but hey! Back to life! Or arguably Chara's case an upgrade to proper ghost-hood). Oh and the Amalgamates that want it are safely separated but not sure if that's a 'before no' thing or a 'here in this big finale' thing~ XD
And yeah. That's all of my 'extra happy ending just because I can' stuff the entire fic eventually builds towards. Will post all my planned scenes/'domino effect planning' some other time but for now I'm done.
If you liked any ideas in this feel free to use them please (I'm a slow ass writer and I write what I want to see more of in the world XD) and er, hope this was a fun ramble to read <3

Writing Year in Review - 2022
On the one hand, I really like doing "year in review" posts and musings. It gives you a chance to look back on what you've accomplished, and lets you prepare yourself for what you want to do in the year head. On the other hand, if your accomplishments didn't measure up to whatever yardstick you're using, it can be a disappointing and demoralizing experience.
This year was, in my opinion, a rather lackluster year for writing for me. It's definitely not for a lack of ideas or interest – if anything, my WIP folder and ideas list are filled with all sorts of stories that I really want to finish. What has been lacking is the time, energy and motivation to apply butt to seat and get some writing done.
That's not the only thing I "failed" at – I came nowhere near my reading goal of 24 books. But there was a book I finished in the summer that had bogged me down for years and I was determined to finish it, which I did! And I'm working my way through The Expanse series by checking the books out of the library. (I'm about 75% done with the series!) I think I'll be scaling my reading goal back to 12 books again this year, so that I can feel pleased when I blow past it. 😅
However, I am trying to be kind to myself, as there were a lot of competing priorities and distractions. I struggled with anxiety of a whole variety of things. I buried myself in video games (specifically grabbing some titles recommended by others), and the new WoW expansion came out in November which has sucked up a lot of my time in December. And since the pandemic is over now (huge, massive /sarcasm tag on that) we spent time travelling: first heading west to see Spouse's family, and then driving east to visit my family.
This summer I got to hug my parents for the first time in three years.
Anyway, with all that happening, I am happy with what I did get done. December was a complete bust (see previous bit about WoW: Dragonflight coming out) in that I only wrote 735 words, but I also worked on the photocomic I posted in December.
In 2022 I posted 10 works to AO3, for a total of 47,609 words. A lot of that was either zine pieces that I could finally publish, or comic scripts. I also wrote 84,544 words. A chunk of that was for the IDW2 worldbuilding reviews (which I really have to get back to), and for a WIP that I haven't started posting yet.
Most months I didn't hit that 10,000 word threshold I have for myself, but that's ok. For the most part I was still writing consistently, even if the output wasn't quite as high as I would have liked. Looking at my writing tracker, you can also see the slow trend downwards in word count per week... Not great, but understandable.
Tumblr media
When I did get some writing done, my words per hour were still rather consistent. Last year I averaged 500-600wph, while this year it's more like 600-800wph. Not bad! I just need to carve out more time to do that writing in my day. 💗
Tumblr media
And speaking of making time to write, here's another graph where you can see the slow erosion of the time I spent writing. There was a big burst in September (as I think that's when my muse really wanted to work on that smutty story with Prowl) but otherwise I've been spending less and less time writing as the year went on.
Tumblr media
As for the concrete goals I set for myself in 2022, I didn't do terribly. I originally posted these in order of priority.
Finish Must Like Cats Yes! Done!
Finish Sun and Moon (working title) Haha no, but still working on it
Apply for two zines (if something catches my eye) Mmm, I applied for one*. So, 50%.
Write two comic scripts for practice I wrote one, so again, 50%.
Finish The King and the Bounty Hunter Nope.
Start By Fire and Flame (working title) Hahhaa no.
*No word on if this zine is getting off the ground, and I'm not holding my breath at this point.
In coming up with priorities for this year, I want to make sure they're obtainable, and focused on getting stuff done. (sigh) So here's this year's list:
Finish Sun and Moon (working title)
Finish one Sparkr story (any of my bunnies or WIPs!)
Write two comic scripts for practice
Make more progress in IDW2 reviews
Finish The King and the Bounty Hunter
Also, one of my "maintenance" goals is to repost the stories I pulled down. I have a couple of story compilations, and the fact that they're in compilations have caused me some issues (for example, it's difficult to link to a specific chapter in some cases, and I can't include a single chapter in a series.) So I'm going to be revising and reposting those stories in 2023.
Behind the cut is the first sentence of each of the stories I posted, and the month it was posted in. I hope everyone has a lovely 2023.
January. Armed. We're in a medical bay. (This is a comic script; you can view the comic here.)
March. Must Like Cats. Sideswipe woke slowly, rising out of recharge one system at a time.
April. Private Parts. A heavy arm fell across Blast Off's shoulders.
May. An Interview with the Award-Winning Engraving Artist Sunstreaker of Kaon. At first glance, the studio looks empty, almost abandoned.
June. The Wild Hunt. Hot Rod couldn't remember when he'd first heard about the Wild Hunt.
July. Time Together. Emperor Starscream watched as Skywarp bounced on the tips of his pedes, his wings flicking with every bounce.
August. Quiet Now. Hound felt like the unluckiest bot in the galaxy.
October. How the Praxians Lost Their Wings. "Kup, tell Dinobots a story."
November. VIP. "In conclusion, this operation should result in an estimated 63% reduction in the Decepticons' offensive ability, and provide us with an additional two months in which we can work with our human allies to fortify our defenses."
December. Mission Creep. Jazz is driving in alt mode. (Another comic script; you can view the comic here.

yet another writing ask game
This is in response to @caffelattedellequattro 's writing ask, and once more i'm not bothering to wait for socialization and answering them myself!
I've done this before, actually, twice- kept the original work but redid them to better suit my skill style. One was one of my first works on the Archive, so I kept it for the feeling, and the other was a gift for a friend, so that had to stay as well. If the muse comes back, I might go back and edit/expand on my series of guides, but that entirely depends on me being in the right mood and having the time.
What I 'can't write but want to' entirely depends on my muse and motivation. I can cling to a project all I want, but I'll only get so much that flows before having to lose it because I lost motivation- usually, but not always, coinciding with a switch in what fandom I'm interested in reading right then.
I write very narratively- it's a weird thing, but I write like I'm telling the tale out loud, and there's a lot of introspection, then dialogue, and I'm prone to skipping over anything I don't want to tell and just mentioning that it happened. This happens a lot with action scenes.
My OC is technically a self-insert and I'd never actually write anything with her, but at the same time it's nice to get a handle on characters by running mini-scenes in my head where her interaction helps flesh them out.
9. Cliffhangers can be nice if used properly, and I'll admit I've used them regularly, but at the same time if you're not adding more in a timely fashion they can be annoying.
13. My worldbuilding skills I'd call a 7- it's nowhere near Tolkien, but I like to understand the world and how people interact within it before I start. Some stuff is contrived but honestly, even if it's contrived, I don't care, I did it for a reason and it makes everything else flow better.
16. One-shots are absolutely underrated! They can be wonderful- whether to break up tension or just to explore something that doesn't necessarily need to be a whole big thing. I'm not amazing about posting, but enough of my works are one-shots that I'm definitely for them.
17/18. Third person past. I can't do first, I'm never in my stories, and second person is really only good if you're doing a lot of character stuff- and it's a little weird because I already pick up enough stuff from what I read that the bleedthrough gets worse. And past tense just fits best with my whole 'storytelling' shtick.
20. Generally I'm only writing one thing at once, but I'll leave one thing undone to go work on something else for a while. I have enough WIPs to always be able to procrastinate on one by writing another, and there's no update schedule to 'make' me write.
23. Description. With dialogue, I either have such a clear picture of what's going on that it feels clunky, or I have no idea what they're doing and it feels too back-and-forthy. Plus I do too many three-or-more-person conversations for somebody who doesn't tag her dialogue that well.
24. Not in the main body of work. At the beginning or end of a chapter or work, perhaps, but unless it's incredibly plot-relevant it feels confusing. Flashbacks can be done well, but it's difficult. Flash-forwards are really only good for timeskips and to wrap up things.
25. I prefer to at least have a significant chunk written before I post or all of it done, as sometimes I edit big chunks, and if I stop because I ran out of inspiration, I'd rather not leave my readers hanging.
35. Writing challenges can be fun, but with my motivation, they're not for me. I recently started writing with the pageless function becuase the page lines were bugging me and it's actually nice- I can still get an idea of how long I've been writing, I somehow ended up with over 50 pages of fic on what I thought was a pretty short thing, but I'm not noticing the page breaks.
37. I research as I write or a little beforehand- sometimes just a quick Google to find a word I forgot, sometimes looking to see a community's experience, sometimes just poking around for a detail I'll use later.
38. 'This never happened' in terms of character actions or 'this happened but' in terms of scenarios. I'll adjust actions or motivations by changing backstory, but I like to keep canon event chains mostly happening unless it's stupid with what happened. My reasoning is I'm only changing some people, and they chose what they did in canon for a reason. People react differently, though, especially when warned or when they have time to grow, and that's fascinating to explore.

Wanted to make a 'what I've been up to' post, both cuz I forget to post So Much and I want people to Look and also because its really good to look back on my very slow but continuous progress.
This is where I would say 'I'm most active on my Discord' but I've also forgotten to post there too, whoops-
Here it is anyway:
Its still the best way to look at my stuff. Its got conlangs, worldbuilding, eventually website progress, creatures, general WIPs of stuff, my musing and ideas, and a taster of my comic.
So, what have I been up to.
Well I recently reformatted my conlang's dictionary in such a way that makes it much, much, much easier to make dialects. So now there's 4 of them I'm working on, with at least one I need to add, and several fringe cases I could do too where there logically should be mixes of languages. As part of this I'm slowly reviewing every word for how its meaning shifts, whether or not it works (initially the word for green came from the word for grass- in a place where the primary speakers grass is blue. Lots of little things you don't think about) and how to flesh it out. It's real promising, and I feel like a big roadblock on the language has been lifted off of me, now I don't just have to stick with the one universal language that cant account for each different cultures unique outlook. Grammar is still nonexistent, but again, more room to experiment!
Tumblr media
I have, hopefully for the final time, redesigned the world, and am making a complete map, complete with globe. I'm doing it very detailed, and its going slow, but it looks amazing. Its going to have elevation on land and sea, language regions, creature ranges, climates, temperature, roads, flight paths, so much I can do with it. Some of these I will do via the website though, with a handy dandy plugin that lets you make interactive images.
Speaking of, the plugin for webcomics finally works! Woo! Nowhere near putting anything up, but I would like to trial sooome kind of thing there. Its... kind of ugly and theres not a lot of customisability for it, but infinitely less painful than making it manually and infinitely less precarious than hosting on a webcomic site, which I dont like anyway (I wanna make my own siiiite)
Website in general, I said I wanted to focus on it before potential college, but well as usual I bounce around from thing to thing as my brain gets ideas. Its hard to write when your brain has motivation to revamp a 1000 row long google sheet, something that doesnt really happen often and should be taken advantage of. At the very least... new project logo? Maybe? The old one, while cool, is hard to read and not very relevamt symbolically. This feels much more focused on the Creatures and well, being able to be read.
Tumblr media
Creature wise to follow on, haven't done much lately, aside from that model. Dragon model i've steered away from to making a simpler dragon first, which is going well.
Now, the comic. Hrm. Not going great. Last year I unintentionally intentionally took a break from it, because it was my last year of school. It's been... hard to get back into it. Technically I've improved it plenty mentally in the meantime but actually Getting it done, very hard. Checking off days does help, but I inevitably get energy for other things and it feels a waste to not use said energy, then I get rusty and forget to check off stuff and suddenly its been a month since I worked on it. Its technically the primary, core thing to all my work and yet I treat it so poorly, sob sob. Slow and steady at least, I have no intention of stopping it, even if my will to make it does wane every so often.
So yeah. Thanks for reading or something. I'm sure someday I'll get into a habit of posting. I want my Stuff to be Seen :]
Also, since its on now, if anyone wants, heres my artfight! Probably gonna stick to doing colored sketches at most, and who knows how much I'll do, but I'll try my best~
