#i'm kinda debating if i wanna make this one an AU Edition

It's 12am and I'm sitting here debating which fanfic WIP I should work on again q-q

The two Monster High AU ones could honestly be released interchangeably so I could work on either or (I mean, Trapped In The Rain happens after BOTH of these fics in the timeline so it's not like I'm hyperspecific about chronological releases). Though the Clawdeen POV fic takes place a few months before the start of freshman year and the Frankie POV fic starts even further back, but is mainly based on their first week's experiences being in a public high school for the first time, the beginning acts almost like a prologue. Also debating whether or not it should be written in 1st person to emulate Frankie's narrations throughout the G1 films (Also kinda reminds me of Cady's narrations in Mean Girls 2003, it fits the "fish out of water" trope so well).

But the PPG fic is JUST A SMIDGE AWAY FROM THE BEST FREAKING PART FOR ME TO WRITE IN THIS PARTICULAR BATCH as if Chapters 8, 9 and 10 weren't already absolute BANGERS to work on and have at least one scene that made me go "THAT'S THE ONE DUDE I AM COOKING" y'all are not ready cause I'm sure not lol. And I literally have like 2 1/2 chapters left to write before getting to my editing drafts, and I've been dying to share what I've got and finally update the fic after...I don't even wanna know how many months. :'D Definitely over 6 at this point, I am SO SORRY.

The last thing is a super secret 4th thing (and no it's not the potential Miraculous rewrite, that's debatable on whether I'm making it as of right now but we'll see cause I still have enough ideas and interest for it, just wanna get through this long-term WIP first). I'm probably not gonna share it on the blog or my AO3 but that's only because it's a different kind of WIP (also different fandom than any of my previous works) and idk I'll just keep it at that. But I've been working on it 5+ years (even earlier than the first XXY drafts back in 2019) and my LORD do I want to just complete the mfkin first draft that I'm only like 50 scenes away from finishing bhngvfdcfgvbdcx ugh

Also I've been drawing a lot more lately so expect some MH and/or PPG art whenever I complete more than a sketch lol. I LOVED making my little title cover thing for Trapped In The Rain back in October (the perfect excuse to let my shipping brainrot go feral) & sharing my AU version of Stitched In Style Frankie art (which btw idk if I ever mentioned it but my cousin is the GOAT and bought her doll for me as a Christmas gift!!! She's hanging out in-box with my G3 dolls). Having art to go alongside chapter updates for XXY and oneshot uploads for my MH AU is something I have a lot of fun making and it's something I would like to be consistent with moving forward. I will also probably make art covers for Chs. 1-7 of XXY too because I had felt like doing it at the time of uploads but just got too busy with life stuff. Last year was awful for me besides these fics and my blog. :') Also istg I need to make that Instagram account for my art that I share here! Maybe someday, if I do I'll let y'all know.

so there’s a jk x reader oneshot in the works that’s inspired by Mariana Zapata’s novel “Dear Aaron.” Make of that what you will~ (also the mood-board for this fic is ready too! which eeeek and it’s hella long.) (no one still this idea istfg i ll come for you lol)

then there’s another ot7 x reader fic that’ll is multi chapter-ed (hint: it’s idol AU & is set in real time, which i m very excited about, bcoz i love playing with characterisations so yeeep!!)

again another ot7 oneshot (this one is platonic) which is a hybrid AU but inspired by TinyTan. (yeppp. cute bangtan babies and a noona reader.) 

another jk x reader oneshot (kinda a monologue like thing, where i basically dive into how jk would feel ten years down the line about “things” i guess. i don’t wanna spoil it, but yeah it’s a slice of life kinda fic for all those ppl who love my jungkook characterisation in etmy)

thennn there’s a Yoongi x Reader one-shot (long as heck) based on the song “Be Kind” by halsey. it’s...angsty, but also has a happy ending. i guess you could say it falls in the hurt/comfort/fluff genre? i don’t know if i want smut to be in this one or not. still debating over that. Yoongi is an adorable cat hybrid. (the mood-board for this fic is ready too)

My 6k of pure Jimin smut will probably be out next. I just need to do some editing, but it’s pretty much all done.

And Lastly I am really really excited to continue my merman Jimin AU!! The entire fic is more or less plotted and I just reallyyy wanna write it all at this point. (the teaser for this fic is out for anyone who’s interested! check my masterlist!)

so yeahh, i have more ideas but these are the fics that I have written atleast some parts of or plotted down to some extent.

RE: Opulent Dreamer - I debated whether I should ask this because you said you were afraid to contradict yourself, but I hope if it's an open question where you can choose not to say anything it's okay?

I kind of just want to know everything I can about the plot, tbh, anything you're willing to tell me, hopefully in detail as possible or as vague as you want (though of course if it's spoilers or if you don't want to feel free to ignore this!). Like, what were your plans for it? Where was it going to go? Why can't Tae leave faerie? You once said it was about two gay assholes trying to outdo each other (and Ben, poor Ben) and I've just been so curious what that looked like ever since? Also, what does Meilyr have against Tae, if anything, since he was provoking him (it sounded like they met at the party and Tae slept with him and had his wings out - surprising, since I believe you mentioned he doesn't usually show his wings)?

I'm guessing most, if not all, are questions you can't answer, but I thought I'd just put out the questions I've asked for years and just see how much I can get :) You can see I just want to know everything and anything. So any information, even unrelated to the questions I asked, would be fun to have. Just, literally anything you feel comfortable sharing. If you don't, then please don't mind me :)

I can do my best to answer these! I can tell you’ve read what I posted once or twice because I can't for the life of me remember the details. I had to reread it myself LMAO.

My basic plans were to end up with the three of them in a triad. Ben and Lyr were already in a relationship. Branwyn had sent Ben to Lyr years ago when she discovered him wandering under her tree as a teen. I think he was a teen anyway. This is subject to change. I wanted to give Taegan a chance to grow as a person, and also recover from having Cadoc break up with him permanently. That was well over a century (if not two? Again timeline wobbly) of a relationship Tae knew he could fall back on eventually. He’s a little shook.

Which leads to why he cant leave. Simple. Faerie doesnt wanna let him go. Its fond of him. I can reblog the post that explains how the planes pf existence are Sort Of Sentiant but thats the gist of it. Faerie is worried about Tae.

I honestly can’t remember exactly why Lyr was so annoyed with Tae but I’m gonna assume from my quick reread that his arrogance sort of pissed Lyr off. Especially when someone who was so clearly upset the night before and clearly needs some sort of help and support decides the next morning to be snooty to a Prince of all people.

I apparently did start a part 3 but I never finished. I think that was around the time I was writing 3 different AUs at once and that was on top of Editing PD proper and later HtP with Sam (which we’re still writing, slowly) so I can see why they all sort of fell to the side. Lately I’ve been looking for new forms of media to consume to feed the creativity. Maybe I’ll get back to it all eventually. I’m not sure if I got to all your questions; I’m on my 2 hour bus ride so I was looking for something to do, and this was a lovely way to spend it. Let me know if I missed anything.

But Another Side Note! I’m genuinely enjoying these asks. They make me think about older stuff I haven’t touched in years and Its been kinda nice to have asks to look forward to answering!
