How did Jeong Tae Eul's ID end up with Lee Gon in the first place?
Tracking the journey between worlds and across time
Tumblr media
There was a Twitter question about which show you'd like to watch again for the first time and I, of course, responded with "The King Eternal Monarch." I just remember how much fun it was trying to figure things out. A friend even had a virtual "murder board" for who's who LOL! In a reply to my tweet, someone asked: How did Jeong Tae Eul's ID end up with Lee Gon in the first place?
Tumblr media
TKEM has one of those loop thingies with time travel so lemme just start with episode 1, with adult Lee Gon heading to the past, to the Night of the Treason. He gets into a shootout with Lee Lim's men, kills several, and after they escape, he goes to check on his younger version. As Gon feels the boy's pulse, Baby Gon lifts his hand. They hear an alert that the Royal Guards are coming so Gon stands up. Baby Gon catches the lanyard and pulls Tae Eul's ID card out of Gon's pocket.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In a flashback in episode 2, Baby Gon, now the king, asks Head Court Lady Noh if she has the two things he had with him on the Night of the Treason: half of the flute, which he suspected was in the riding whip she held, and the ID card. Head Court Lady Noh produces both.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And so that's how Lee Gon keeps Tae Eul's ID card with him in the kingdom for the next 25 years. In episode 1, we see Lee Gon has it inside a copy of "Alice in Wonderland," with the ID card right smack on top of the illustration of the White Rabbit. Symbolism much? LOL! The book, of course, is referenced a few times by both Lee Gon and Jeong Tae Eul.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
One of the more interesting details of the time travel in TKEM is that at this precise moment (Sept. 10, 2019 at 7:45 p.m.), when Lee Gon is looking at Jeong Tae Eul's ID card while sitting in his private study in the Kingdom of Corea, the card doesn't actually exist YET in the Republic of Corea.
When Lee Gon decides to follow the White Rabbit, or rather the sound of the flute, into the other world and meets Jeong Tae Eul for the first time, she has an entirely different ID, one that shows her in her police uniform with her hair down.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This ID card is still with Tae Eul in episode 4 when she leaves the library (where she'd been researching parallel words, etc.). As she approaches her car, she finds her keys with the big-ass tchotchke in the form of a lion tangled with the lanyard of her ID. As she was separating the two, she is bumped by a boy on a bicycle, sending the ID card flying out of her hands and down a grate, straight to the sewer below.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BTW, the culprit on the bike is none other flute boy (fun fact: flute/yo-yo boy is actually played by a girl, Kim Bo Min).
Tumblr media
Jeong Tae Eul gets her photo taken for a new ID card. She has her hair pulled back in a low ponytail and wears a cream sweater. The photographer advises her to put on something with a bit more contrast so her face doesn't stand out too much in the photo. Tae Eul opts for a navy jacket. And while she is not aware of her outfit's significance, we see the image Lee Gon has been staring at for 25 years.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Later, we see Tae Eul apply for a new ID card. Hilariously, she says the old one was "lost after a fierce scuffle with a suspect." She remembers Lee Gon telling her the ID card he has was issued on Nov. 11, 2019, and so she asks the civil service worker when the new one is going to be ready. Much to her relief, she's told about a week, in late October.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BUT Fate has other plans, of course. Kang Shin Jae tosses Tae Eul her ID. The agency apologized for accidentally leaving her out. Her ID was issued that day: Nov. 11, 2019. Lee Gon was right! Tae Eul is justifiably flustered. She gets even more flustered when she gets a phone call from Lee Gon.
She rushes home and finds Lee Gon standing in her yard, like a freaking statue. This is one of my favorite TKEM scenes ever but I'm gonna rush the summary here: Tae Eul asks Gon details about her new card, which he is able to answer correctly, proving he does have a version of her ID. He invites her to his world so she can see for herself. She accepts.
Tumblr media
In the kingdom (episode 5), Jeong Tae Eul is asked by Head Court Lady Noh to put her belongings in a box as part of a security check. Lee Gon assures her it's something everyone does including court ladies and the prime minister. Tae Eul tosses in handcuffs, her wallet, the lion tchotchke, a Kahi multibalm stick lol and, of course, her newly reissued ID. She seeks assurance that she's gonna get all the stuff back, saying she'll be penalized if she loses her ID again. Head Court Lady Noh recognizes the ID.
Fast-forward to episode 6. Japanese warships are heading to Corean waters and Lee Gon has to send Jeong Tae Eul home earlier than planned. Lady Noh retrieves the box with Tae Eul's belongings — side-eyeing palace security here as the unlocked box is stored in a dresser in her room — and realizes the ID is missing. No way to check who took it as the CCTV was cut off in that area of the palace last night starting at 8 (because of JTE's unexpected arrival). Tae Eul ends up taking back the "old" version of her ID card.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So where did the newly re-issued ID card go? It shows up tucked inside a book in the bookstore of one of Lee Lim's minions with a note identifying it as "guestroom user." We later find out that Lee Lim's contact is no other than Kang Shin Jae's Corean mom, a court lady who has Lady Noh's trust.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In episode 11, Lee Lim captures Tae Eul's Corean doppelganger, Luna, and convinces her to switch places with our heroine by showing her the ID card and Tae Eul's family. Luna, who'd never known her parents, agrees. She's taken to republic with Tae Eul's ID and picks up Tae Eul's phone at a locker in a station. Her first order of business: Apply to take all of Tae Eul's 21-day vacation. Smart, LOL.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is around the time Lee Lim's men kidnap Jeong Tae Eul and take her to the kingdom. Lee Lim plans to exchange her for Lee Gon's half of the flute. But she foils that plan by escaping and we get the famous "Protect her! She's the future queen!" battle cry from the king.
Tumblr media
Jeong Tae Eul eventually returns to the republic with Lee Gon in episode 13. After introducing her boyfriend to her dad, she arranges to meet Gon after work. She gifts him with a black jacket, which he thinks looks a bit familiar. Later, as he's trying it on, the doorbell for his hotel room rings and he finds Tae Eul at the door bringing beer. It doesn't take him long to realize it's Luna he's with — she's got a look of anxiety that JTE doesn't have. He pulls Tae Eul's ID from Luna's coat pocket. As he's checking it out, he notices his image in the mirror and realization dawns, he looks exactly like the man who came to Cheonjongo on the Night of the Treason and saved Baby Gon. He saved himself!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Unfortunately, Luna had spiked the beer and Lee Gon goes down, ID card still in his hand at the beginning of episode 14. As Luna tries to search for the whip that contains the flute — she's not interested in taking his life — Jo Yeong arrives (he'd gone out to get drinks). She flees, minus the ID. The captain of the Royal Guard, with Tae Eul's help, takes him to a clinic owned by a friend of the medical examiner (Chief Park's wife). When Lee Gon comes to, he could hear the flute crying, just like he did when he was a boy on the Night of the Treason. It is the signal to go back. He enters the doors once again, ID card still in his pocket, as Lee Lim enters his, enabling them both to return to the past to try to fix things.
Tumblr media
And we're back on the Night of the Treason. Lee Gon arrives at Cheonjongo and gets into a shootout with Lee Lim's men.

Georgia talking about staged again and now their…… flirting? Is that what you would call putting a heart on Anna and her calling Georgia a flirt?? Radio silence from the both of them and now randomly there’s this.
Hi there! Well, I'm not sure it's really random. But let's get the visual up here first, for those who haven't seen Georgia/AL's Insta stories today:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So this seemed to start with Georgia posting the story about Staged playing on BBC iPlayer after she finished watching OFMD. The second story is the one with Georgia drawing the heart around AL, followed by the story with her drawing a heart around the glass of wine Michael is holding, and then Anna shared Georgia's story and called her a flirt.
The reason I don't believe this is random is because for the last several days, all everyone has been talking about online is Ineffable Con and Rob/Gavin's comments about the kiss between Michael/Aziraphale and David/Crowley. And as we've seen before, just when the conversation gets too focused on Michael and David, Georgia and AL post a story or photo to bring the attention back to them. It's actually fairly predictable at this point, since it's happened multiple times previously (though I would say this seems a bit more blatant than other instances, given that there isn't any reason for either of them to promote Staged right now).
My thought in regard to the "flirt" comment is that I agree with you in not understanding exactly how that reads as flirting (as it didn't come across that way to me). I do wonder if this is another attempt at Georgia and AL trying to be the female analogues to David and Michael (which we've also seen before), but it again doesn't work because they don't have that same chemistry or flirty dynamic that Michael and David have. Also, if this actually was "flirting," what was the purpose in GT circling the glass of wine? Is she flirting with the wine as much as AL? Once you look past the straightforward promotional aspect of these stories, it just seems very weird.
Weirdness is apparently the theme for the day, however, as there was also this reply from AL on Twitter earlier:
Tumblr media
If you look at the timestamps, AL replied to this tweet/Michael's tweet exactly one minute after Michael replied. Going back to the idea of predictability, there's been nonstop discussion for the past several days about Michael and David kissing, and my first thought was that she seemed to just be looking for a reply that she could jump on and insert herself, to where I would not be surprised if she has notifications set up for his tweets for just such an occasion.
Upon further consideration, I did get the feeling that her "Where can I get one?" was not at all sincere in the way that Michael's was. It came across to me as a passive-aggressive way of reasserting her position (i.e., "I'm the only one who actually gets to love Michael Sheen"). It also makes it seem like she is fighting with the fans for Michael's attention, on top of already competing with David (although let's be honest, there is no competition there). More than that, however, I also got the feeling that AL copying his comment was her way of mocking him for wanting the t-shirt at all (i.e., "Look how stupid he is for wanting this stupid shirt"). Which of course is not something she would actually say, but the copied text along with the reply coming only one minute later makes it seem a bit circumspect. And it makes me feel sad for the fan who made the original post who may not realize what is really going on.
In any case, those are my thoughts on GT and AL's social media posts today. As I've always said before, I know I could be completely wrong in my interpretations, but the timing is just too strange for me to believe it's a coincidence. I'm happy to hear others' thoughts, though...

So, I have a stalker.
This psycho who on here uses @darkeningsea has been stalking me on social media possibly for years. I'm only posting this here, because I need people to be aware of this situation and be wary of her. I knew her very briefly from 2004-2006 where she created a host of problems for me and my friends. There was never any reason for it except envy. Somewhere along the way she lost a dramatic amount of weight, dyed her hair black, and started trying to be me. I was unaware of any of this until Monday afternoon an acquaintance from the Final Fantasy XVI fandom asked if I had a secondary Twitter or Bluesky account. She has been for months copying and pasting my tweets as if they are her own. I don’t post anything relevant. It was gaming stuff, some fashion tweets, and me debating what to DoorDash. All of my friends and mutual followers were blocked by her. She was very aware of me realizing what she was doing and rapidly changed her usernames and locked down or deleted her social media. Known aliases are neareststars, enthroned, darkeningsea, villains, robotkitteh, sketchvillain--she likely has other burner accounts that she uses to stalk me. She patronizes small indie fashion and jewelry brands I support, she’s been quietly skin walking me possibly since 2004. Her whole online identity is like some bizarre bargain basement cosplay of me. This isn’t some drama between 19 year olds. This is a 39 year old who frankly is unhinged and possibly dangerous. If I end up murdered she did it. I’m looking into any legal recourse but please be aware of this person. She used to go by Kitty. Now she goes by Al. Her real name is Heather. I never expected this to happen and I’m kind of torn between anger, amusement, and just feeling gross and kind of not okay.

6, 12, and 20 for the reading ask :)
6. Was there anything you meant to read, but never got to?
My to-read list is endless and ever-growing. At this very moment I have Adam Bede by George Eliot and From Below by Darcy Coates on my bedside table, waiting for me to pick them up and read them. This is among others on my bedside table that I'm not listing simply because the number of books is embarrassing and if I don't get specific no one will know how bad it is. I have had that copy of Adam Bede for a good long while, though.
12. Any books that disappointed you?
Tragically, yes. I think I've mentioned both Don't Want You Like a Best Friend by Emma R. Alban and Late Bloomer by Mazey Eddings here on Tumblr. The former is already suspect because it has a bad title that turns out to be a Taylor Swift song lyric; it was especially disappointing because there were aspects of the story that I could have been interested in, but the writing was just absolutely unbearable. Did I read it all the way through? Yes. But at what cost? I don't know. I guess it's on the taxpayers' backs; I checked it out from the library. As for the latter--I was hopeful that the setting in the mountains of North Carolina would be a pleasant feature for me, and then the book treated southern accents in a southern state as anomalous and made absolutely no use of the setting. I'd've been better off going back to Asheville myself.
20. What was your most anticipated release? Did it meet your expectations?
Now, I don't really follow new book releases as much as I should, because I don't want to want things, so there wasn't really anything that I was eagerly anticipating because I knew it was going to be the book for me and I wanted so badly to enjoy it. However, I was anticipating the release was probably Truly, Madly, Deeply by Alexandria Bellefleur for different reasons--in short, I had seen some minor thirst tweeting by Bellefleur on Twitter about actor Joe Keery, who is also very obviously the basis for the male figure on the cover, so I was curious to see if the book was also thirsty for Joe Keery. And it certainly was! So those expectations were very much met! However, I was also surprised by it, because in the past, Bellefleur's books have all been in a positive position in my book meter that goes from "this book owes me money" to "I have become deranged" (though never at the top--I have never become deranged over them--they're fine!), and this one I actually found rather off-putting, which I frankly did not expect. But I suppose that's something that can happen when the motivation for reading a contemporary romance novel is curiosity about its contents rather than interest in the story and characters.

[Image IDs: Tweet thread by Feminist Proper Gander (@dappergander): hoo boy.
Below this is a screenshot of the thumbnail of a new video (posted on December 20, 2023) by James Somerton called "I'm sorry" with a runtime of 34:46.
The thread continues: l am less than a minute in and he's claiming he tried to end his own life. Going for sympathy before anything else.
"l know now that it wasn't okay." "l honestly, honestly didn't realize I was hurting people. And now that I know i was hurting people, I'm just really sorry" was off to a good start but then immediately followed by "l lost my best friend over this" and now he's going to tell this whole story of what this cost him.
"the only way I can think of to help [compensate the people I plagiarized] would be to make the videos public again." "l want to try to do better and make videos again." honestly, just step away for a while.
"l would like to become a really, really good example of giving proper credit." that ship may have sailed.
"l read a lot of stuff by people who were hurt, not just authors, but people who watched my videos who think I hate [lists groups of people]… I promise you, I didn't write that stuff." so you're saying Nick wrote that stuff? "I'm not trying to throw Nick under the bus." please make up your mind.
"l don't think those things, I don't. And I don't think Nick does either." I appreciate you wanted to speak off the cuff for 'authenticity' but good gravy. "we ended up making a lot of videos we didn't want to make because people asked us to make them." where are you going with this.
"l swear on my mother's grave there well be no copying people, no copy and paste." no, man, do not reactivate the Patreon, whatever you think is going to happen isn't what's going to happen. "thanks again to HBomberguy and his team for setting up the fund for the writers, I'd like to contribute." [all caps] finally [end caps], thirty minutes in.
"l promise, going forward, I will do better." you'd kinda have to.
Tweet by Lady Emily (@GreatCheshire): And true to his word, his Patreon is back up, scrubbed of all but two posts and 3,000 patrons still there, with tiers as large as $100 per month with annual options. If you were a patron of James, make sure you unsubscribe before the end of the month so he doesn't get your money.
Below this is a screenshot showing the Patreon page with all the tiers still intact.
Above this tweet, it has been quote tweeted by Eric Ravenscraft (@LordRavenscraft): If you are (or were) one of the 3,000 people subscribed to James Somerton's Patreon, you will be charged at the end of the month if you do not cancel your pledge. As of right now, there is no post explaining this on his Patreon, which has been deactivated for most of this month.

I wrote this on my bluesky acct so let me copy/paste most of it (yeah I only check in there about once a month as well) ... if this reads like a series of tweets well that's because it is!!
I've been really intentional this year about what I consider "reclaiming my gamer identity" i.e., playing games again. So many things were going on for two years and I put so many of my interests on the back burner until I was finally fed up (plus other serendipitous circumstances (like my father's stroke lmao))!
So far, I have been able to spend well over 100 hours gaming this year, not including mobile games (which is HUGE in comparison to the literally like maybe 5 total hours in 2023). And 99% of has been on BG3 lmao I'm so happy that I took a chance on splurging on this game it was totally worth it !!
But also!!! I have started coming back to my mobile games which is really nice and feels like coming home. These mobile games are how I met most of my online friends in the past few years so I love 'em and I don't even mind the returning temptation of microtransactions lmao
Anyway I find myself wanting to blog about my gaming experiences (new ones and rediscovering old ones) but I'm just not even sure how to go back to doing that nowadays... like, do I commit to returning to tumblr? 🫠
/copypaste
And thus here I am, attempting to commit to returning to tumblr yet again. I also need somewhere else to procrastinate.... I have a second twitter account now and I follow my main on it and damn I really do retweet A LOT like that's gotta be annoying for everybody 😭 at one point I had in my twitter bio "I tweet like I tumbl'd" and I was not fucking lying omgggggggggg tumblr just lacks the community aspect nowadays for me and I feel like I have that on twitter but honestly I can't stand a lot of people in my fandoms so what does it matter if we're a community or not

ok i had a full nights sleep. i am coherent. i am fixing to copy/paste the tweets here for your enjoyment. its a lot.
ok so parx twit had a “trend” on unpopular opinions about the band during the sneaking out of heaven tour (their most recent one) one person said this
“Had to be said. You forgot his over dependence on nyquil and sleep drugs that borderlines abuse, he claims he's straight edge though ✨”
she deleted and posted a noted app apology
“Hey friends, I'm writing this to you, not just as an apology for writing dumb shit on twitter with no thought behind it, but to also share that I do suffer from my own personal addiction to pain medication, and have been since I was 17. Addiction is a real thing, it's a problem and it should be talked about, but not at the expense of others and making baseless assumptions. We all know where false acusations can lead, and it's never a good time. I've been reflecting on my previous inflammatory tweet about Awsten and his use of Nyquil and I want to say that I am truly sorry for my, dumb, offensive and very thoughtless tweet. I didn't stop to think before I wrote something so dumb and hurtful and I'm sorry for that. I'm not perfect, l'm human and I make mistakes. I know I fucked up hard and I'm sorry to anyone that was offended by my words. I can delete a tweet, but I can't take away the fact that I wrote it, and that it's out there causing anger to people, so l'm acknowledging that, and owning my mistakes. I am also very greatful to the people that took the time to educate me on this, I always appreciate any guidance. Moving forward I want to do better, internet etiquette is hard to get right especially when you're in a fandom spanning multiple generations and culture's but l'm definately gonna try harder.”
awsten saw the tweets and now that tour has been over for a while he has responded.
“HEY AND BTW WHEREVER THAT ACORNBRAIN WALMARTMOUTH BREATHING TWITTER DULLED CLOWN IS AT THAT SAID I HAVE A DRUG PROBLEM BC I TAKE ZZZQUIL TO SLEEP IN A BUS ON A THIN ASS MATTRESS, I APPRECIATE UR CONCERN AND I HAVENT HAD ANY SINCE TOUR ENDED, YOU CURED ME OF MY ADDICTION”
“GET COOKED WORMBREATH DUMBASS !!! I HOPE YOURE LIKE 14 BECAUSE IF YOURE OPERATING LIKE THIS AT FULLY GROWN, I FEEL SO SAD FOR YOU HAHA PAINT DRINKER”
he quoted a tweet with this after that.
“THIS AND THEN SELF-RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE SMELLING BLOOD IN THE WATER SWOOP IN TO PAT THEMSELVES ON THE BACK AND ABSOLVE THEM LIKE A PRIEST SAYING "we weren't trying to cancel u we wanted to hold you accountable thank you" LMFAO0000000 I LAUGH EVERY TIME, ITS A FULL CIRCLE OF STUPID”
“it's either a notes app apology or an "i'm taking a break" and they go priv and come back in like two days” ^quoted tweet
he also tweeted a picture of a confessional with “you are… forgiven”
“DUMBEST HILLS HAVE EYES MUTANTS ON HERE WILL BE LIKE “uM personally i think he is so immature and Anyone should be allowed to say Anything and Everything at All Times with no repercussions” SIKE BITCH THIS IS THE REAL WORLD OPEN YOUR EYES”
the person who tweeted what hes talking about is between 32-34 and followed them for a majority of the us tour. they flew in from australia for it. somebody tweeted the photo of the tweet that caused him to say that cropped so the persons @ was cut out and his response to that was
“NO MORE CROPPING NAMES, I DONT GIVE A FUCK, WE SHAME IDIOTS, WE SHAPE THE FUTURE”
“WORLD PEACE
IM OUT”
her response to the paint drinker shit was
“loved waking up to you caling me an idiot, thanks Awsten. This fucked up my mental health something fierce and put me in a really bad place”
“Woke up and burst into tears, thanks Awsten”
and a “Awsten what the fuck”
hold on ill link a few of my favorite tweets from the situation because now what the fuck tweet is a whole fuckin joke.

okay what i'm about to say might be a bad an unpopular take because i only have the context that you've given me in this ask so idk if this user used to be disliked before this, or used to be beloved or super popular or whatever else.
anyway i think awsten is... in the wrong here.
this is not to say that the user who tweeted about his alleged drug addiction is saintly and pure and innocent, that was a fucked up tweet to make regardless of if awsten would have seen and/or responded.
however... if i was a popular celeb with a wholeass fandom i would NEVER say these things publicly like sure i understand being mad that someone is talking to flippantly about drug use and speculating about your drug use online but then to go ahead and call them a bunch of names as well as essentially weaponise your fanbase in a way where they're now making memes about this person, making fun of them etc. i'm glad they're not 14 like he said but he didn't know if they were 14 or not, what if they were super young... what if someone who's barely a teenager had to deal with this not only from someone they adore but also from a whole fandom they considered their own??
anyway... yeah i hope tweetuser is fine and i'm glad there's no addiction here. ooofff that's a messy situation wow 😬

Gonna try to make some of these character tweets a bit more consistent in terms of writing setup. I'm sort of just bouncing between copy-pasting from my GoogDoc notes, and writing my thoughts down as I go.
Also sorry for the weird delay on these, I've just been mentally all over the place for a bit. Plus, some of these characters have a bit less concrete designs and art, since I'm in the middle of developing them. So, I feel kind of awkward posting just concepts for a character. Still, I'll try not to get too caught up in it, and show what I have for them.
Anywho, that's enough for now. Thanks everyone following this account. I hope I can entertain you a little with the little world I made. ^^

aaaand... adding even more to this post since some of it is a follow-up on the above, I want to keep it on the same post.
so after making the above post, @happilyfeatherafter reminded me that some of the times i remembered misha talking about returning to set were from a livestream and community texts, not from twitter.
in the livestream with michael sheen from 30 july 2020, he talks about taking cas' coat from set bc he wasn't sure if they'd be going back (gif set here) [disclaimer that i've only skipped around through that livestream and not watched it start to finish in its entirety.]
also, the 15x20 script was way sketchier than i remembered and @lets-steal-an-archive made a post about it back when it was being auctioned about why they wouldn't be bidding on it that goes into more detail. and yeah. with the additional context (and some x files script pics they sent for comparison), that script is super sketchy. i'm not about to waste the printer ink to sit down with a copy and do a read-along with an 11th watch of the finale, but it doesn't inspire confidence no matter how close it is to the final product.
also, the seller had the benefit of listing it post-finale airing but two months prior to the s15 DVD releasing with deleted scenes so... idk. this is super outside my wheelhouse so i won't spec further. the script is just really sketchily sourced and iirc the bidder got a refund since the seller then offered PDF scan versions for very cheap to others who asked... none of which inspires confidence.
further shenanigans from the past few days' life ruining research! not calling any of this a smoking gun, but based on the tumblr source time stamps; it looks like misha sent out the below pics as community texts post-finale but the pics themselves were taken during 15x18 filming - if anyone has the actual time stamps i'd love to know! even after half a day of searching, i couldn't find versions with a time stamp on them. in both cases, they seem to indicate that he knew this was his last day or last episode filming for the show. (he's also mentioned that they threw him a good bye party after 15x18 and idk why you'd do that if you intended for the actor to come back.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(left pic source) (middle & right pic source)
whenever misha has talked about being in the finale, it's been in reference to an "original" pre-COVID version of the script where he would be jimmy novak and not cas. but given that 15x18 wrapped before shutdown, my guess is that it had already been settled that he wouldn't be in the finale. so yes this would have been a "pre-COVID" script, but probably not the prod draft script from march 2020.
(and having spoken with ppl who were already in the fandom when s15 started airing/looking at posts from fall 2020/pre-15x18... a good chunk of ppl didn't expect misha to be in the last two eps when it started airing again)
i would also like to note that when talking about "pre-COVID" scripts from s15... that could be anywhere from may/june 2019 to march 2020 when set shut down, which @swordofsun and I went back and forth on a bit discussing here wrt revisions of 15x20.
and i'm loathe to bring it up without a source, but i know there was something floating around about misha(?) saying in a m&g at the las vegas con in march 2020 that the finale script was still going through a lot of revisions. so at that point, a kinda short window before they returned to set to finish 15x19 and 15x20. iirc there was a tweet about it that has since been deleted but i tend to take m&g stuff with a grain of salt.
point being - the 15x20 script is way sketchier than i remembered and there's more actual evidence that misha wasn't intended to be in the finale from before set shut down (and the "misha filmed but was cut" conspiracy continues to be my personal bugbear)
hello, i'm finales georg...
i don't want to further clutter up the notes on this post while responding to the tags below but the persistence of the "finale is short/scenes are missing/extra ad break” conspiracies drives me absolutely bananas when i've watched the finale ten times and have posted about this A LOT trying to clear things up. (disclaimer that yes, i'm a goddamn destiel shipper but i care about Facts above all.)
ok but this is weird because i'd swear the episode was shorter (11 missing scenes!) but okay. maybe we all mandela effected ourselves into #beleving that. because it felt shorter. but i will die on the hill that it had another ad break. i understand this person has the thing #recorded with ads so i am thinking maybe different ad breaks in different idk time zones??? #because the finale did air an hour earlier in canada so maybe idk i am reaching here but maybe different states or whatever had different #ad breaks??? as for the last minute changes - wasn't the cover band asked for permission to use their version of carry on like a week before #the thing aired??? so even if the episode was 42 minutes and had no additional ad break - which i am side eying but lets say all was normal #i will always say they were changing thing until the absolute last minute (carry on my wayward son X 2 #the crew on the bridge which is not only giant 4th wall breaking but also wow they really got all those people in one place in times of #covid???) #anyway. tinfoil hat stays on sorry guys :/ (via @officialmisha)
short and snarky: there are plenty of real and sourced examples of network homophobia and scripted/directed destiel scenes being cut to point to. we don’t need to make this stuff up just bc the finale wasn’t what we wanted. so it’s not the mandela effect — it’s ppl repeating a conspiracy/rumor bc it supports their narrative and it’s easier and more fun to repeat something that supports a narrative they already believe (misha or something destiel was cut) vs the boring act of fact checking.
longer circumspect answer with links bc like many ppl i am in my debunking era and i rewatched "roblox_oof" last night.
like i said. i've watched the finale ten times. i’ve gone over the episode with a fine toothed comb and posted a detailed breakdown of timing marks on my blog. it’s actually extremely obvious where the ad breaks are once you know roughly where to look for them (they have a longer fade to black instead of a quick cut scene change). there’s no room for extra ad breaks and i think this conspiracy/rumor persists in part bc the episode feels so sparse in terms of cast and the fact that the episode’s momentum hits a barn post (and rebar) less than 20min into an hour-long programming block.
also i’m begging ppl to actually look at that timing mark post. it’s very straightforward and i spent a lot of time on it. i don’t care if ppl plagiarize it at this point if it means this conspiracy stops. i've got almost every second accounted for.
the "eleven missing scenes" that you're thinking of are probably from the finale script of questionable authenticity that @spnscripthunt acquired back in 2021 which can be found here. it's dated as the “final draft” from 11 sep 2020 and filming on 15x20 wrapped on 10 sep 2020. as noted at the bottom of this superwiki page "[the] script came from someone claiming to have been the person who did the closed captions for the show in Russia. There are some indications that it possibly may not be authentic, but this has not been confirmed."
if we go with the possibility that this was a transcript meant for subtitles, the "omitted" scenes were probably written but never filmed since it's the "final draft" and not a color revision (blue, green, yellow, etc). unfortunately, i’ve lost track of where i read it and a preliminary duckduckgo search isn’t bringing it up bc there's a program for script writing called final draft, but iirc the “final draft” version of a script is a transcript of what was filmed (e.g. there are parts of that 15x20 script that ended up being deleted scenes on the DVD). spnscripthunt also has an example of a confirmed final draft for 09x02 (funnily enough, also a dabb-penned ep). if anyone can confirm with a source that i have the purpose of the “final draft” version designation wrong, please let me know! i love being proven wrong with Facts.
i do want to acknowledge that the two “final drafts” do look different from each other and the 15x20 one doesn't look like a “real” final draft script since it lacks the revision/versioning dates that a script would normally have on the cover page. it could be that it was intended for subtitles; there's the chance it's been re-typed to anonymize it if there was anything indicating who the "owner" was, tho that seems a wee bit cloak and dagger to me. and again: it's considered of questionable authenticity. there are some things that don't quite line up but oh dear god i don't want to get even further out into the weeds than i already am.
i won't disagree that it's weird as hell that neoni only got asked about using their cover seven days prior to the episode airing (tiktok here). my personal theory is that they were hoping to get a more expensive song (maybe a zepp song, idk) and didn't manage to secure the rights in the end. again: this is pure conjecture on my part! but i could absolutely see someone working on the show hearing neoni’s cover and liking it and then maybe they were using it as a placeholder until it got down to the wire and they had to make a call/send the ep to networks. because yes, it is baffling they played a song and then a cover of it with only a 40 second break between. (i do actually really like the neoni cover! the placement is just weird and i think it could have worked if they had the kansas version at the beginning and closed with neoni's full cover.)
as to the 4th wall break COVID stuff: robert singer talked with variety magazine about filming the last two episodes and the logistics of filming during a pandemic. whether they should have been filming during a pandemic is a separate discussion but their use of office vs set pods, strict quarantining and daily testing meant that they had zero positive tests in the month they were filming (18 aug to 10 sep). so given all that, i personally don’t think it’s totally out of pocket to have everyone standing outdoors on a bridge for maybe an hour to get a drone shot of them together. (i won’t get into incubation periods and viral load, but if everyone tested negative that day and every day for a month prior, it was a fairly low risk scene to film outdoors and for all we know everyone was masked until the last possible second. there were plenty of outdoor masked protests in 2020 that weren't superspreader events.)
and before anyone brings up “but misha was in vancouver!” i know someone who looked into it and they said no dice, nothing matched up between the backgrounds in those pics and places in vancouver. his statements about “us” going back to set over the summer were pretty generic in hindsight and “we”/"us" could be him or the spn crew generally. unfortunately i’m not able to find those tweets but the use of “we” was likely so as not to give away he wouldn’t be returning to set. (bc we were absolutely casbaited!) and bc it comes up a lot: the "onion field pic" was from when they were filming 15x17 and was not taken while filming 15x19 and 15x20.
besides, it would be ridiculous to go through the financial and logistical headaches of bringing someone into the country to film during a pandemic, only to cut their scenes in the end! honestly, the script is pretty tight when the scenes are given so much breathing room! the only thing i could see being further cut down is The Monologue and even then, i don’t think there was any intent to cut it down given it was filmed in fairly long takes.
i’ve said it many times before, but i believe the finale was fucked long before they returned to set. walker got the green light in sep 2019 and it was being marketed heavily as a “follow on” show to spn given jared’s involvement. the demo they were courting for walker has little to no overlap with the demo for destiel fans — why would they want a finale that catered to a demo they weren't interested in courting? we just went through a historic double strike that exposed so much of the rot of business interests overriding creative vision. this isn't completely unfounded conjecture.
i will not apologize for the length of this bc i wanted to be thorough, but i do want to give context that i think the reason these conspiracies and rumors grind my gears so much is because anyone can fact check all of this. the truth is out there and absolutely none of it is that hard to find. the most time consuming/difficult part of this was finding someone who had a DVR’d copy of the finale from when it aired live and they actually found me themselves after i’d been low key asking around for a year!
and like. i get it. conspiracies are fun. but there are so many sourced instances of network homophobia and destiel being cut that it's like. why is this something folks are hanging onto? the cw is notorious for having upper level meddling with finales bc there's a follow-on show they want to shuffle fans along to and spn is no exception.

Hi Allie, just want to get this off my chest. I think some people here should admit that Twarries exist is because of Tumblr Larries and it is true. From making up theories and outright telling people close to H and Louis that theyre xyz. If we're gonna be honest some tweets are just copy pasted from here and vice versa. It's quite fuck up tbh when some things are taken out of context and people then believed that said context rather than researching the full thing. Tumblr is literally the main source of Twarries, let's be real. For example: a blog here *claims* that Louis likes to get choked, then twarries spread that info that Louis confirmed that he likes to get choked BUT reading the whole context of the Zac Sang interview, he never stated that he *likes* to get choked. See how that works? Another example is this one blog who posted a certain magazine article of Louis (this was YEARS ago) stating he feels like a "mother/sister" and every twarrie and blouie uses that as proof that Louis is quote on quote " a woman like Harry " . Yes, I didn't post the blog's name cuz theyre "popular" here but that being said some statements are literally out of context and some blogs here should be careful on how they word their posts. Also, about the "debunk" issue that's been going around, I feel some people just don't accept the truth for their narrative to be correct. Like this thread is all facts but some people here tend to say it's fake. We have dozens of facts already, some shit is fake, tumblrinas should lower their superior complex and accept that fact. From said blog, doesnt like to accept it due to the "versatality" thing but we have to admit, those back scratches are fake/photoshopped and it's okay.
Anon, I don't like your tone and I don't like your opinion either if I'm being honest. First of all, if you have some sort of issue with a certain popular blog go talk to them or I don't know, or stop following them or whatever. You're going to find people you agree with more and people you agree with less and that's fine. I feel like you're being kind of a dick with this. I have no idea who you're talking about and I'm not particularly interested in this kind of drama on my blog.
As for the tumblr x twitter dynamics, I think all platforms feed from each other, twitter, tumblr, tiktok, instagram... and people will engage with whatever makes more sense to them. I'm on tumblr because I feel like this platform is superior for the kind of discussions and experiences I'd like to have about this. We have the ability to talk about facts, timelines, and context much better because we have archives and tags to check. It's that simple. Now, if people are taking something from my blog - what is supposed to be a "safe space" - and putting it out there with no context, it's their problem. I can't be responsible for someone else's interpretation of my words and what they're going to do with them. I can talk about whatever I want here and I trust people to have a drop of critical thinking to take away something reasonable from it. People need to think for themselves, for fucks sake! Maybe some people lack the ability of being truthful with themselves and others, and that's a shame. But it's not my problem, if they like running around like a headless chicken completely unaware and uninterested in what is really happening, I don't want anything to do with it and I don't want anyone bothering me about it.
I don't know what this "debunk" talk is about, I feel like I'm missing something, but I've ranted endlessly on my DEBUNKED OR NOT DEBUNKED tag. And the thing is, we're not talking about science here, we're talking about something that is incredibly subjective, it's someone's opinion/point of view on something. So what you can do is try to find the most reasonable explanation and with that try to figure out if something is real or not real... but people are going to believe whatever they want to believe. So like I said, I like interacting with people that are worried about making sense of things and finding the most truthful explanations, I don't want to believe any lies. But if someone is more interested in feeding something they already made their minds about and that makes them happy, I mean- that's fine. As long as they're not bothering HL in real life, or bothering me... nothing wrong with it. And I wish it was that simple lol But unfortunately it feels like they're not the ones responsible for the consequences when they do that. All the larries suffer from it. I get hateful messages because of something that is being said on twitter and that I don't even agree with. So I don't think people need to accept anything if they don't want to, but I think people need to take responsibility and most importantly I think people need to stay in their own lanes and stop bothering people on other sides of the fandom.

have absolutely nothing against giorgia but the past couple of days italian twitter (not even her haters literally locals 💀) has been having an absolute blast making fun of her poetry and after seeing a bunch of it… um 😶 if her publisher and editors genuinely saw potential in her work they should’ve told her to keep working on her craft. it being bad is literally fixable by practicing, reading, learning and researching, good poetry is very rarely something that comes completely naturally, instead they saw a big number of potential sales because of her following and went along with it. some of the poems even ending up there has me questioning her friends, like girl has not one person that loves you told you that some of this stuff is just… not good? i feel really bad for her because obviously the book is very personal to her and its probably difficult for her to accept criticism on it because she feels so connected to it so it feels like she is being criticized herself but criticism is a part of being a published author. also someone please get her a social media advisor or something because she’s been tweeting things and even though i get the need to defend oneself, she is literally escalating it and ppl are making fun of her even more. sorry for the long message its just that I remember you posting a sort of review of her book and i think you were one of the first people in the fandom on here to say its not good, and now having seen a big chunk of it i definitely agree with some of the things you brought up and as a poetry lover i guess i just wanted to add my two cents lmao 😂
Hi Anon, feel free to add all the cents you want. I know I have millions to add on this😅
I agree with everything you said, especially the social media advisor part😂 I've seen the shitstorm and I'm not happy about it. As usual some people go way too far and Giorgia didn't deserve it. Still, I've felt disappointed by her a few times too many recently, and I've been disappointed by the lack of meritocracy affecting Italy since forever so I'll take advantage of your ask to vent a little here. Forgive me, I don't have to work today and it's rainy outside😅
Let me start with this. I like/don't like Gio's book is an opinion. Poor lexicon is a fact, so is the immaturity with which some subjects are treated, so are the same three metaphors repeated again and again and the blatant incapability of using even just that one rhetorical device that's so common in poetry. This is important to explain why so many people are pissed.
Now, Italy (but probably every other country) is full of people who somehow become famous on internet (good for them, really!), make millions, and not satisfied yet, soon after start to act, or direct movies, or even get into politics and more than anything else publish books. For some reason writing books is always an influencer's first choice.
Italy is also full of people who studies literature for years and have to leave the country or accept to work part-time, with a temporary contract, for 600€/month. Then people without merits and experince come with their thousands of followers and just like this, a publishing house, a tour book, thousands of copies sold. Am I jelous? No. I am mad and I'll always be mad when stuff like this happens a) because it's so fucking unfair, b) because they're even arrogant about it, but I'll explain later.
BTW Giorgia now claims she's studied and been a photographer for years. Ok but where did she study? Where are her works? She clearly stated that she dislike cinema which is at least odd for a phographer, and never even showed a real camera so I think we're all allowed to doubt. What influencers refuse to understand if that followers don't equal talent.
Now, about the lack of humility. What really disappointed me is the way she's been answering to criticism, which proves that she's actually as immature as her poems and also a bit too arrogant.
Let alone the Alda Merini thing, already a few weeks ago the only time she deigned to answer criticism, she did it in a story where she claimed that those who don't like her poetry are, and I quote (yes, I took a screencap because I couldn't believe it, back then): live in posh living rooms (she has an house with a terrace in Rome), hate themselves and each-other (god knows how she came to the conclusion), are passive-aggressive and the funniest one? They apparently are too busy to care about first words problems. Now. NOW. How rich is this??? Coming from a person who makes money sponsoring cosmetics and clothes and luxury brand champagne? A woman who calls herself anticapitalist but works into fashion industry and owns a 700 € cat litter? Damn, I lived most of my life with less than 700€ a f*cking month!
And last but not least, now if you don't like her poetry about sex it's because you're misoginystic? For me this was literally the last strow. Hiding behind feminism because she cannot take criticism harms the whole feminism cause. But sure, wear a cap with "fuck the patriarchy" written on it and all is good 🤦‍♀️
I want to be extra clear that she still didn't deserve all the hate, that's just sick and wrong. But I cannot help it, I'm definitely disappointed and I like her less than before. I'll still follow her for her activism because for me this is what makes her interesting (and the kittens!), not her hair product, not her lipsticks and sure as hell not her books. I still think she and Dami make a cute couple btw and I wish them all the best.

One person expressed interest but I've had time to cool down so I'm going to copy-paste the rant I went on to some friends, and then just edit in some details for people who don't live in my brain.
WARNING: Contains discussion of transphobia, and also an accusation of sexual assault.
So this is about Contrapoints and PhilosophyTube.
Both are trans girls, and engage with similar topics in a similar style.
Contrapoints (Natalie Wynn) transitioned first, and then PhilosophyTube (Abigail Thorn), and then the latter started doing a similar presentation style. This is contentious, as a lot of the general breadtube fandom, but especially Wynn's, is of the opinion that Thorn is copying her, and has lifted her entire style and premise, or that they are at least a little too similar to be Just Being Inspired.
And like. Sure? Buuuuut in my personal opinion, PT does it better. And, to me at least, it sometimes feels like Contra is mostly just bitter that PT is a better educator. Not necessarily a better presenter or artist, as that part is much more subjective, but definitely a better educator.
"Her post transition name is the same as one of Contra's characters!" Abigail is a common name, it's entirely plausible she named herself after a grandmother or something. IDK I haven't researched it, but that is a reach.
(Much more concerningly, people are using one of the vague tweets as "confirmation" that one of them SAed the other. Because we didn't know if they'd dated before. Which. Holy shit, guys, think before you accuse a trans woman of something even the alleged victim is telling you didn't happen.)
So yeah, the theory is that PT Wanted To Become Contrapoints, and also that she transitioned to date her after Contra said she was a transbian.
All of this is insane but also I think Contra is annoyed that PT is better at this than she is, and also less prone to Blunders like "dressing up as a lizard person to portray the wealthy secret elite, then blocking people who point out it's antisemitism."
(That's not to say that PT hasn't had any blunders, just that they seem to be far less frequent, and she appears to be better at Acceptable Academic Hedging where you avoid generalizations that could ruin your message, or keep the topic narrow enough that the lack of something isn't a glaring exclusion, just more of a 'well, maybe she'll get to it next time.' She is also, at least as far as I can tell, much more prone to inviting other YouTubers with Expertise to contribute when she's on an unfamiliar topic, and yeah it's often just a bit of a marketing gimmick, but it helps enforce at least the appearance of reliance on a wider spectrum of views than just her own.)
The scandal Contra ACTUALLY responded to was about getting a famous trans dude to voice a line in one of her videos but Oops he's mega problematic. Aaaaaalso she has a patchy history at best with respect to Native issues. That's actually one I didn't know about before, but it puts her failure to reference the Quileute Move to Higher Ground campaign in the Twilight video (and the current best practice in Twilight fandom is very well known to be that if you do anything bigger than a couple paragraphs of wild AU or a three-panel comic, you should be linking to the fundraiser) in a new and ugly light.
Contrapoints has longer vids, but ngl I feel like she's both Saying Less in that time and also making more gaffes.
But also I get frustrated when people use the problematic aspects to argue that NOBODY should watch ANYTHING these White Leftist Ladies Say because they don't understand or address intersectionality in full.
Which is…
That is what critical thinking is for.
That's why you follow Multiple People.
Or you make posts talking about the videos with an air of "this is cool, but I think there was a missed opportunity to address XYZ" or "I like the general message, but the creator failed to talk about this glaring issue or give a reasonable excuse for not doing so" or even "this is a great starting point and it got me thinking about this tangent."
Like we can enjoy AND critique!
We can say "this is great but I think you should reach out to some black feminists if you address this topic again" instead of "these white girls shouldn't be the face of breadtube because they just talk all over us" like
Growth is good?
Encouraging growth is good?
We don't need to throw out the baby with the bathwater…
Like that was my response to the Twilight video "A lot of this is great, but I think you missed a huge issue with respect to racism in the series and how it intersects with the issues you discuss here. Also the current best practice for this fandom is to have all major derivative projects link to the Quileute fundraiser to move their town out of the encroaching flood zone" Which I guess some might view as mean, to leave a 'you should do more' on a 4hr video, but It's tonally different? I guess?
They'll have some good points. And some bad. And our job, as human adults with brains that generally work, is to think about it enough to learn and grow.
I DON'T think they're right about everything! I do think they have major blind spots with regards to Race and Religion. But like. So does everyone?
Also very 😬 is the number of people who insist on misgendering during critique.
But then I'd also say that a lot of the Bad Things are mostly just. In bad taste, or missing a topic, rather than reflective of a deeper and more complex bigotry.
I actually saw people saying not to watch them at all and it is very frustrating because that is the wrong approach to take to this sort of thing. You encourage them to grow, you discuss the failures of individual projects, you criticize directly! But to just widely dismiss people after a handful of blunders is how you strangle leftist media.
Contrapoints has regularly disappeared for an extended period and talked about the harrassment she receives online for her blunders in addition to the more generic harrassment she gets for being trans. PhilosophyTube gets a lot of shit for being trans and 'copying' Contrapoints, but she's also gotten shit for calling herself the highest profile trans woman in the UK. Which. She arguably is. Because the UK is a cesspool for trans women. But that's 'so self-aggrandizing' to say, even though the only one I can spot on a given list that is a household name is Eddie Izzard, who explicitly identifies as genderfluid, and so isn't included on the technicality. Granted, maybe I just don't know enough British celebrities, but like... the claim isn't that much of a stretch. Lindsay Ellis almost had to leave media entirely because of a poorly-managed PR fiasco where people (seemingly deliberately) misunderstood a tweet about a children's movie. Jenny Nicholson still gets shit for pointing out a male celebrity may have made some tweets about a controversial but low-stakes topic (shipping) in order to distract from a more problematic comment earlier in the day.
And yeah, they survived that, but a lot of people don't. And the more we apply that approach to minority creators--which all of the above are--the more likely we are to get someone we like caught in the crossfire. Like, do we think this approach is helping support black or brown creators? When we encourage an environment that is just as likely to get THEM hit with backlash over a different kind of fuckup?
And I don't mean 'Dave Chappelle making his entire professional personality about trans jokes,' but more like 'black British dude says 'fag' in a video, meaning a cigarette, but gets torn to shreds by an eager mob of queer youth who are more concerned about punishing mistakes than seeking growth.'
Like, I've only seen the edges of what's going on with the backlash against creators like FD Signifier or Foreign Man in a Foreign Land, but what I've seen there is a lot of the same shit.
IDK I just. I just wanted to reblog some cool gifs of Abigail Thorn, and maybe a few Natalie Wynn costumes. Why did I have to go on a blocking spree (mostly for misgendering and general transmisogyny, admittedly).
Me: wow, I'm really enjoying this YouTuber's content, I wonder if anyone is discussing it on other platforms and expanding on the issues brought up or politely going through the oversights and what could have helped round out the production!
All social media:
Tumblr media
Mostly Tumblr and reddit, both of which provide Twitter drama for no additional cost.

CW: mentions of p*dophilia (not spoken about in good light)
To the anon in my askbox who just unloaded on me:
1: I don't know if you are a copy paste anon searching out random destiel/cockles blogs to attack, but I don't feel it is my business to post YOUR personal trauma on MY page so I will answer you like this because I'm not about to put someone's tragic story on blast for people to see.
2: You came to the wrong blog for " my trauma made me an expert on this subject so I can shame you" because...just because I don't put my BS out there doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I'm a bit of a private person, but believe me when I say I get it. Okay? My stuff is actually why I now have a decent understanding of human psychology which leads us to:
3:I want to explain a facet of trauma that goes untalked about for OBVIOUS reasons. Intrusive thoughts:
Intrusive thoughts are unwanted thoughts that can pop into our heads without warning, at any time. They're often repetitive – with the same kind of thought cropping up again and again – and they can be disturbing or even distressing.
Heres a link to a medical article that can explain it a little better:
An, important quote from the article:
"Intrusive thoughts may be violent or disturbing. They may be thoughts of a sexual nature, including fantasies. They can also be about behaviors you find unacceptable and abhorrent.
These thoughts, however, are just thoughts. They seemingly appear out of nowhere and cause anxiety, but they have no meaning in your life. They’re not warning messages or red flags. They’re simply thoughts."
They are something that nearly everybody experiences, most just never speak about them. If you look at the source of the incident in question, IN FULL CONTEXT, you can clearly see what he is talking about are intrusive thoughts. Now, don't get me wrong p*dophilla is nothing to make light of and is disgustingly rampant in Hollywood and politics and has been for a very LONG time( I'm actually a major history buff and do a whole thing on ignored history facts in America on my other SM and I covered this subject a while back so believe me, I understand the disturbing ignorance of it), however it is dangerous to accuse someone of it without presenting more facts than an out of context rumor. Thats how the real creeps slip by. Because a p*do isn't going to up and tell you they are one. They are going to make themselves as child friendly and likeable as possible so you don't blink an eye at them. Should he have said those things outloud? Obviously not, because here we are. There are certain subjects better left between you and your therapist and instances like this are exactly why.
THAT BEING SAID:
4: Based on your last statement imma take a stab in the dark and guess you're a Jared stan, which is your right. Do you boo boo idgaf. However, it is not your right to come at a stranger in an anonymous message and spew hate at someone you don't know from Adam. You don't know me, you don't know my life and you don't have the right to treat me with any sort of negativity because you don't agree with me.
Have I ever said Misha is without flaw? Absolutely not. He has said/done/ tweeted insensitive and questionable things and should ABSOLUTELY be held accountable for them. As his fan I will absolutely acknowledge when he has done wrong and I won't blindly praise a celebrity. They are humans and make mistakes. More so, they are humans that come from a place of privilege and being in that place of privilege and in the public eye, hold a certain responsibility to be careful about what they do, as they are seen as role modles for the rest of society. When they mess up, they 100% need to be held accountable so that those who follow them know their behavior is unacceptable and learn that there are consequences for those type of actions.
So yeah, when Misha messes up, he needs to be held accountable.
Because Misha does mess up.
And Jensen messes up.
But you know who else messes up and needs to be held accountable instead of being babied and praised like he can do no wrong? JARED MOTHERFUCKING PADALECKI.
See, my issue is less with him ( though yes I do have my issues with him) and more with people like you. It's people like you who defend him when he's doxing people, when he's making those inappropriate jokes, when he is inserting himself where he doesn't belong and defending things like assault with excuses. Because when you do that, he doesn't learn that those things are wrong. He sees it as support to keep doing those things. When people like you keep using "but his mental health", as an excuse he's going to keep using it as an excuse. Now let me be clear, coming from someone with ADHD depression and CPTSD induced anxiety, mental health issues are always an explanation BUT NEVER should be used as an excuse. That is exactly why there is such a stigma against certain disorders. Because they have been used as excuses to not try and better oneself. Its disgusting and the cycle needs to end but it will not if we keep using the same excuses for people in the public eye. It's real easy to tell someone : "Hey just because you have experienced this, doesn't mean you get to do this." Watch I'll show you.
I don't agree with Misha exposing his kids to certain things (such as certain music) at such a young age just because his childhood was skewed. I also belive he needs to dial back and rethink some of his GISH items, because, although the thought behind them comes from a good place, they can sometimes be disruptive or harmful. I think he still needs to apologize for certain tweets. But I still admire him and will always be grateful to him for helping me be more open with myself.
I don't approve of some of the things Jensen has said onstage. I don't think he should have talked so openly about his weariness over the prospect of twins in such a public forum where they can one day hear it. I don't like that people use "the environment he grew up in" as an excuse for things he has said or some of his actions because your "environment" is no excuse to not try and learn and better yourself. But in the past few years he has grown and learned a bit and apologized and I am very proud of him and will continue to be a fan of his, as I have been for a long time.
See? I can accept my faves aren't perfect. But what about you? See this is the thing I find absolutely hilarious about your side of the fandom. You will scream that Jared is human and makes mistake but one of the others slips up and you jump on them like starving hyenas. You will freak out if some one brings up Jared's arrest or doxxing or insensitive tweets ( or really anything he has done wrong and hasn't apologized for) and yell at people for "Dredging up the past! It happened years ago get over it!" But ya'll are quick to pull up 8, 9, 10, sometimes 12 year old interviews or photos of the others and scream "Racism! P*do! Liar! Privlage!" Like you aren't doing the same thing you cry about. Y'all are quick to defend Jared with "But so and so did this" but get pissed when someone does the same with Jared. Y'all will stomp your feet about "staying in your own lane" yet here you are bouncing up and down in my inbox when I've maybe 2 posts that view Jared in a negative light and tagged properly so the only way you could see them was if you searched them out. And for a group of people that are all about protecting someone's mental health and AKF, y'all sure don't seem to give two shits about the mental health of the people you go after and make fun of and make nasty nicknames for and harass in the name of protecting your fave.
And finally,
5: If Misha or Jensen had drunkenly assulted someone and made jokes about it while continuing to drink, instead of taking responsibility for it, if either of them had gone after a beloved actor MERE HOURS after his death (a death that was a result of a disease caused by MHI btw) on a public forum, if either of them did any of them stuff that Jared has done I don't like, then you bet your ass I'd be pissed. You bet your ass I'd call them out. You bet your ass I'd stop being a fan of theirs if the behavior continued. You wanna know why? Because NEWSFLASH: I used to be a fan of Jared's too!!!! I stopped because I couldn't support his behavior anymore. Thats called being an objective adult.
So, next time you wanna come onto some random person's blog and accuse them of needless hate against your fave while pointing out the flaws of theirs, maybe look in a mirror hun, yeah? Good talk.
Have the day you deserve. Buhbye.

So I've had a couple of friends say that they wished they could edit like I do, so I thought I'd write stuff on how, exactly, I write. This is just a basic overview but I might go into more detail later about some of the stuff, especially if anyone is interested.
(This is not me saying that my way of writing is the One True Way. Personally I've never heard of anyone else writing first drafts in dot points like I do.)
A lot of people think editing is the same thing as proofreading, so instead of taking a step back and looking at their novel in a zoomed out state, they're going through getting rid of typos and rewriting sentences instead. Which is a vital part of editing, but is actually a very minor part of it.
The core of my editing method is this: you need to be able to summarise your story and its themes in less space than you have available to you in a tweet. Learn to boil your story down and only then can you zoom out.
Is that hard? Yes, if you never learned how to do it.
Will it absolutely transform your ability to make your stories what you want them to be? Also yes. Much like an artist doesn’t spend the whole time zoomed in to their piece, a writer shouldn’t either.
My process:
I (usually) write the first draft in dot points. Nothing more than cursory research, lots of [notes in bolded brackets], it’s all a rush.
I let it sit for several months.
I come back and, before rereading, make at least two summaries -- a sentence-long summary, and a paragraph-long summary.
I write down what themes I can remember.
I reread the story. For every scene I read, I write a summary of it on a note card and jot down any themes I see in the scene. I also copy-paste each scene into a separate Scrivener sub-file, for easy rearranging later. I do not edit; I write notes to myself in the actual writing so that future me can see my ideas and do the actual editing for me. This includes continuity notes/errors, places where I need to do research, etc.
I lay out the note cards in chronological order and essentially make them justify their place in my story. This is where I rearrange scenes, make notes on continuity or adjustments I have to make due to the rearranging, and also write notes on what potential the scene has in relation to my summaries/themes for later.
The second draft is a complete rewrite, and what most people would consider a first draft. Even when I don’t write my actual first draft in dot points, I still do this step.
Let it sit again. (Up until recently I’d write the second draft, do the proofreading immediately afterwards, then publish immediately afterwards. No longer doing that.)
Now is time for the classic editing as people know it — this is where I polish sentences, flesh out the bits I’ve been procrastinating up until now that I can’t justify removing entirely, and get rid of typos. This third draft is the one I send off to the beta; this is the stage where I start publishing as I go along.
LET IT SIT. AGAIN.
Final edit & proofreading. This edit focuses on cutting and condensing as much as possible, because I never shut the fuck up. This streamlines the story, makes it easy for people to follow and maintain their attention, and stops it from dragging. (I have written doorstoppers before. If you fuck them up they ABSOLUTELY drag.)
BOOM THERE'S A FIC!
Can go into detail about more of these points if anyone wants/if I feel like it. For now I'm just leaving this overview here.

Tumblr media
The funniest thing is that I would have totally been willing to drop that confrontation and continue asking about some behind the scenes stuff with the process of brainstorming story ideas, if not for him blowing up over it:
Tumblr media
The problem wasn't the fact there was conflict in the story, the problem was that QuackerJack forcibly used Megavolt as a fuel source for his car and never once, in the following 8+ comic issues set afterwards that had minimal interaction between the two, have a simple "Hey, so I went over the line back there and nearly killed ya there, Sparky, no hard feelings, right?"
Like, yeah, maybe QuackerJack never directly apologizes for any of his actions in canon, but there's usually some mutual mending after a tiff that indicates at least during an off-camera moment before a scene transition that they probably had a "We cool now?" or something.
And here's the funny thing, really, y'all are gonna laugh over what my last tweet directed at him that apparently was the final straw
Tumblr media
And the thing is, this was a sincere question, as I figured that it was probably pertaining to a preview the upcoming DWD comics that are going to drop soon, so I was sort of curious about what might have gotten that reaction. Nothing attached to the previous interaction, since that was five days ago and has since been dropped because it's no longer relevant.
I guess people are harassing him elsewhere, but I just want to say that I'm not part of that and haven't mentioned this whole mess outside of a very tiny circle that doesn't really do social media, so it ain't me, and I'll gladly show off my other social media handles to prove it ((spoiler warning, they're all basically a variation of "RaeLogan")), so if he's gonna get mad at me, then he should at least double check to make sure because I've literally just been watching FNAF videos and playing 3DS for the past few days.
I don't care if Sparrow edited the comics, that was over ten years ago, what has he done for the series now since then other than lash out at people who have a few critiques? And I'm not just making my opinions on some bandwagon thing either, I legit have a copy of the very book he keeps treating like some holy grail of the franchise.
Tumblr media
Honestly, the only thing I can appreciate from that book by now is that James Silvani's art style is pretty good for the most part ((a little wierded out by how bulky he draws QuackerJack, but that's not really anything to cause a fuss over, everyone has different art styles)) and some of these pages have some really good panels that are fantastic as phone wallpapers due to the color shadings and page layouts being very pleasing. I got no problem with the artist.
But, the editor is a massive jerk.
Are there really any people in the fandom who like Aaron Sparrow or kiss his ass? Seems like none of the duck fans like him which is funny.
Sadly there are. Witnessed them myself. Those people are mostly on Twitter and Discord tho.
We tumblr-tards are the only ones who dare to speak up. If you do it on the Discord servers you will get an insta ban. I saw how people got kicked for bagatelles.
I also got banned and don't even know why. XD Never wrote much on the servers and mostly just lurked there for new infos. But I'm apparently also one of the "bad" or "wrong" DWD fans. Just can assume one saw that I don't kiss Sparrows ass on here and snitched to a mod. Idk.
