An idea

I thought of an idea while taking a shower and I just wanted to write it out to share. So everyone knows the "magical girl hero" genre type thing? Right? Like Sailor Moon? (Which I've never actually watched, not important, just wanted to note that) Ok, imagine a show/comic/whatever like that with the heroes being a group of like 3 girls and a guy. Whenever they transform they all end up girls for the fight. The guy asks why the hell he turns into a girl to fight, and everyone just thinks about it and assumes its old magic or something and that it was only supposed to be used by girls and all this and that; and everyone accepts it. Cue to a later point where they get a new member, another guy. They go to fight... and the other guy stays a guy in battle, still has like the whole feminine getup on them and everything, but they're still very much a guy. First guy spends like 3 weeks trying to figure out why they transform and the other doesn't... and then it hits them, they aren't a guy. They're a trans woman.

Frankly I think the confusion of the woman just trying to figure things out in the heat of battle would be hilarious, and cathartic, emotional, and just nice when they realize.
