Okay, let's just stop ignoring the elephant in the room.
I will never in my life believe that the way Tech's goggles are storywise taken out of the Marauder right before the destruction was done for nothing. I mean, yeah, that was beautiful and touching and all that, but I do NOT believe that with that being the case, they wouldn't play an important plot role later on.
They wouldn't hang that rifle on the wall for nothing. Nuh-uh.

no control | l.jn
“i can't contain this anymore, i'm all yours i've got no control”
💿now playing: no control by one direction
❯ summary: The guy sitting at the bar next to you seems pretty smitten - and Jeno hates it. He wants to be the one making you blush…or more accurately, scream his name.
❯ pairings: jeno x fem!reader
❯ genre: smut, friends with benefits
❯ words: 3.7k
❯ tags: 18+ minors dni!, unprotected sex (don’t do this!), jealousy, arguing, wall sex, swearing, back scratching/marking?, possessiveness, public sex, reader uses she/her pronouns, pet names, slight begging, a bit angsty, porn with feelings, literally just jeno being petty and jealous.
Jeno hates to admit it, but Mark was right. Casual, no-strings-attached sex does in fact suck. And God does he know it. It’s hard to forget when his friends keep bringing you up.
“Who’s she talking to?” Renjun asks.
Jisung replies with a simple shrug before Chenle chimes in with a quick, “I don’t know, haven’t seen him before.”
Him. Jeno feels that pronoun hit harder than expected, but he forces himself to keep cool. He doesn’t turn around to see who’s got your attention, even though every fiber of his being screams and begs for him to look.
His spying friends keep giggling amongst themselves as they sit on the stools at the bar. But it wasn’t until Renjun throws back the last of his whiskey and says: “He looks pretty into her.” That Jeno’s gaze is forced to find you.
Jeno’s too proud to admit it but he finds you instantly, you’re like a magnet, a force that he’s drawn to. And truthfully, he considers it a talent that he can seek you out of a crowd in seconds.
There you are, with some guy. Some guy he didn’t know. Some guy that, from what he could see from the side of his head, was probably good-looking. The good-looking ones always liked to try and talk to you.
Not that it matters, Jeno reminds himself, dragging his eyes away from you for his own sake. You hadn’t come to this party with him; he never even asked you. He agreed to keep this casual. You could spend your time with whoever you damn well pleased.
Even if that wasn’t him. And even if that’s a bitter pill for him to swallow.
“Leave him alone guys,” Jisung finally speaks up. “They’re probably just talking. Besides aren’t you staying over at Y/N’s tonight anyway Jen?” He asked.
Jeno takes his eyes off you for a second to look at his friends, he’s thankful for the reminder that he was supposed to be coming over to your place tonight. But now his mind is racing. Maybe you would change your mind, ditching him to hang out with that good-looking man instead.
You’re not like that, he tells himself. While you hadn’t attended the party with him, you had promised to spend the night with him, and you weren’t one to break promises. Besides, you didn’t bring strangers you just met home, either. He had nothing to worry about.
Except…what if he did?
When he dared to glance over to the last spot he had seen you across the lavish bar, he wasn’t expecting to still find you there. Surely, you would’ve found an opening to excuse yourself and re-join the friends you’d arrived with, but there you were. Still talking to that asshole. Smiling at him. Enjoying yourself.
Maybe it was just the whiskey talking, but Jeno felt like he was being replaced as if he was across the world and not merely across the room. Because it had been well over half an hour since he had first seen them together. And who knew how long you two had been talking before he or his friends even noticed?
Jeno doesn’t like this feeling. So he orders another drink.
He tries to ignore you – tries to focus on his friends but they keep mentioning it. Mentioning you. Which makes it so damn difficult to stop his eyes from sliding over, and noticing every little detail about you.
The short dress that had ridden up from where you’d sat down and crossed your legs, showing off more than enough of your toned thighs. The deep black of it suited you, and not just because it was Jeno’s favourite colour, but because it complemented the tumble of hair falling over your shoulder. You looked like a goddess, untouchable. Especially when you smile. God, he loves when you smile.
Just not when he’s not the one doing it. He should be the only one to make you laugh, to make you feel more relaxed at a party. Because he knows you, all the little things and your quirks.
But not once did you glance his way; and he’s fully aware of that because Jeno has definitely been staring. You’re ignoring him, and he hates it. So fucking much.
Maybe the alchohol was catching up to him, finally settling into his bloodstream and mixing dangerously with his jealous streak because he’s suddenly overwhelmed with the feeling that he has to do something.
Impulsively, Jeno abandons the conversation he had already half checked out of with his friends, and doesn’t waste a second marching over to you and the man. Ideally, Jeno wanted you to be thrilled to have him sweep you away, but when he arrived at the booth you and him had been sitting at, Jeno sees your eyes flash with an undeniable ‘what the fuck are you doing over here?’
“Nice to see you, Y/N,” Jeno greets you charmingly, sliding right into the booth on your side without an invitation, blatantly interrupting.
“Hi, Jeno,” you reply, keeping your tone polite despite not moving to give him more room.
“It’s been a while, hasn’t it?” It hasn’t. “I thought I’d get you a drink and we could catch up?”
Jeno’s attempt to get you away is feeble, but it’s not exactly like he had enough time to devise a good plan. He was being impulsive, jealous, reckless – acting on instinct and he instinct was telling him that he need you, by his side.
“Maybe later, yeah Jen?”.
“Why? You having too much fun already?” he asks, which was rather a loaded question, considering you had company sitting right across from you.
“I’m having a lot of fun,” you emphasise a little more than necessary, glancing at the brunette across the table and playfully rolling your eyes. It had the man smiling in understanding, which was quick to piss Jeno off.
“Really?” he said flatly. “You don’t look it.”
“Maybe you don’t know what I look like when I’m having fun.”
“I think I know better than most.”
That’s when Jeno squeezes your knee, and you want to disagree, but you couldn’t. Because Jeno knew, alright. He knew pretty damn well.
The guy opposite you shifts in his seat, probably aware that he had suddenly become a third wheel, thanks to the flirty tone in Jeno’s voice. Jeno gets a sick sense of enjoyment watching the man get uncomfortable – all the confirmation that whatever little plan he had going on was working. It made him only want to do it more.
So Jeno oh so casually reaches to tuck a lock of your hair behind your ear. You try not to react, but your head tilts slightly towards him, and your features soften.
“You look beautiful,” Jeno compliments, fingers trailing down your hair, brushing over your shoulder before they settled back on your knee. “Black suits you.”
“Thanks,” you murmur.
“Are you two friends?” The man asks, reminding you both of his presence.
“Sort of,” you began to say, just as Jeno declares, “Very close friends.”
With your cheeks now flushing, you cut him a look that he largely ignores, before feeling the need to explain yourself to the friendly guy you had just met. “We catch up sometimes. Occasionally.”
“We’ve known each other for ages.” Jeno emphasises because he liked that fact. Liked knowing he was here first, having that leverage and advantage over any guy you’d ever meet.
“I should leave you to it then, let you two catch up,” the man says through a tight lipped smile as he began to slide out of the booth. He knew exactly what Jeno was trying to do. “Nice meeting you, Y/N. See you around sometime.”
“I hope so!” You reply trying to sound enthusiastic. You didn’t want to give Jeno the satisfaction he was clearly hoping for.
Once the man turned his back on you, you grab your glass and take an extra generous gulp of your drink.
Before Jeno had the chance to open his mouth and say something else that was only going to irritate you, you lean into him.
“What the fuck was that?” you hiss. “Out. Get out. Let me out.”
Shuffling along as he was told, Jeno watches dumbly as you hastily slip out of the booth after the stranger, tugging the hem of your dress down with one hand and clutching your nearly empty glass in the other.
Jeno blinks for a second as you try to parade away from him. Then it registers in his mind and he’s chasing behind you and out of the bar. That’s when he tugs on your arm to stop you in your tracks.
“Y/N. Stop, please.”
Much to Jeno’s surprise, you do as he says, turning around and holding up a commanding finger. It almost seemed like a joke, but there was no humour in your tone when you asked, “What were you thinking?”
Jeno tilted his head to the side, tonguing the side of his cheek.
“We weren’t at that party together! You knew that,” you continue your rant.
“I didn’t know it was a crime to speak to you in public,” Jeno replies naïvely with an innocent shrug of his shoulders.
“You know that’s not what we do. We don’t hang out at social events, Jeno. We agreed on casual. I don’t want a relationship.”
Casual. Yeah, you seemed to really not want a relationship when you were chatting up that guy for ages. The thought makes Jeno scoff, his gaze dropping to his feet.
You cross your arms over your chest, exhaling, “What?”
“That guy,” he simply says, his eyes flashing with a slight fury when he looks back up at you. “You were with that guy.”
You roll your eyes. “Oh my god, you’ve got to be kidding me.”
“Who was he?”
“It doesn’t matter!”
“It does matter when you refuse to even speak to me in public, but spend your whole night with him.”
Jeno’s smile is long gone, and almost, almost, you wanted to forget this whole thing and bring it back. You hated when Jeno was mad at you, not that he was very often, but he was being irrational right now.
“I just met him, it was all friendly” you explain. “I can’t believe you’re jealous!”
“I’m not jealous!”
Jeno knew he was, but there was not a chance of him admitting that seeing you with any other man drove him absolutely insane. Every single damn time. Still, you know better.
“You obviously are! Jeno, you know how I feel about you–”
“Do I? You didn’t seem to be into me tonight.”
“Because you came out of nowhere and acted like I was all yours!”
“You are mine!”
That was the wrong thing to say. Jeno knew it as soon as it came out his mouth, saw it in the way your expression tightened slightly. Even so, he wouldn’t take back what he thought was true.
“We haven’t defined anything–” you fumble, “Infact, I think we did the opposite—”
“How would you like it if I’d been flirting with another girl all night?” He cuts in.
“It wouldn’t matter,” you lie. “You can do what you want.
Jeno takes a few steps towards you, and it makes you unconsciously hold your breath. He’s so tall and intimidating and goddam sexy—wait you’re mad at him right now!
“What I really want, Y/N, is to be with you,” he spells it out frustratingly slowly. “Seeing you all night long in that short dress that barely covers your ass and knowing I can’t touch you, claim you, fucking kills me.”
Your eyes betray you, because despite every brain wave in your mind telling you to yell at him for that slightly misogynistic statement—your eyes still soften.
“Well, you should’ve just said that,” you try to explain instead of lecturing him. “If you’ve been feeling like that you should’ve talked to me instead of acting like a caveman.”
“You don’t listen.”
“I’m listening now.”
Jeno blinks at you, his jaw loosening as his eyes watch your gaze drift down to his lips. The action is loud enough for him to not waste another second before his hands move to your waist, pulling you in to the kiss he had been dying to give you all night.
It’s harder than he would’ve given you earlier, more possessive – oh, definitely possessive when he forces your back against the brick wall at the side of the bar and your arms have no choice but to hastily wrap around his neck. You stumble a little, but he keeps a firm grip on you.
If you wanted him to tell you how he felt, well, that’s exactly what you’re going to get.
He tells you in the desperate way that he kisses you, lips parting and unwilling to leave yours. He tells you by the way he presses his body flush against yours, pinning you to the brick so you can’t slip away from him, not again. He tells you in the low moan that escapes him when your hand tangles up in his hair and your own lips work just as eager.
When he breaks away for a moment, he takes his time to just look at you. So pretty, so desperate, and so undoubtedly all his.
And when you gaze back at him through long lashes and eyes radiating with lust, he has to groan because he’s the one making you like that. He’s the one getting you to bite down on those pretty lips, lips that were made for him, belong to him.
But you’re feeling too desperate and he’s taking too long. So within a mere few seconds, you’re reaching for him again. It has him thinking maybe you’re trying to tell him the same thing. But there was no need to do that. Jeno had made it abundantly clear that he was yours.
There was still a lingering frustration fuelling the two of you – mostly from you; it was jealousy for Jeno. He is jealous that someone else – another man – had gotten to spend the night at the party with you. He needed you to know that he hated to see you with him, and that this – this was never going to be better with anyone else.
No matter how hard a man would try, they could never know you the way that he did. They could never make you feel the way he did.
Ridiculously, you want to apologise despite him reading the situation all wrong. You hadn’t been flirting with anyone else, and you thought it didn’t matter who you chose to simply talk to. You never knew he’d feel this threatened. Never suspected it would upset him this much.
You proposed the idea of keeping things casual to not get hurt. Jeno was unbelievably attractive and could have his pick of any woman. You thought keeping him at arm's length would protect you—figures it’s only hurting him.
Regardless, no matter the context there was no denying that he was being a jealous ass tonight and the two of you had argued. An argument that you were both getting very turned on by and had you conflicted between getting down on your knees for him or letting him fuck you against the wall, outside and all.
You always found great thrill in surprising him: breaking from the feverish kisses, you reach up under your dress and yank down your underwear. The delicate fabric falls around your ankles, and you kick them off to the side, inviting him to what he so clearly wanted.
I’m yours right here, right now, your eyes tell him.
And you really thought you had won at the whole surprising thing, until he hooks your legs around his waist and presses his hips harder against you. You never pegged yourself or Jeno for being an exhibitionist but something about him taking you against the wall of the very same bar he thought a man was flirting with you at, awakens something feral inside him.
All of a sudden the wall seemed like the perfect spot for make up sex. Honestly, Jeno just wanted any sex. As long as it was with you.
He exhales heavily when he starts to ease his pants down and you fumble to undo his shirt buttons. But you get far too distracted by his lips beginning to trail down your throat. He reaches for your thigh, smoothing up your soft skin, as he hitches up your dress around your hips.
You’re so desperate for him you can’t help but whimper. And just when you think ‘Yes, finally,’ a cocky grin spreads across his face as his finger slips effortlessly (and too goddamn slowly) over your centre. His teasing is somewhat annoying, but it’s so hard to be pissed at him when he’s touching you like that. Hell, it’s hard to be mad at him in general—you’re weak to him and that’s exactly why you’re pushed up against a wall.
Jeno picks up his pace as soon as he begins stroking you with another finger. You squirm against the wall and he watches that hungry expression grow as he rubs you rhythmically, fingers sliding up and down, up and down, so easily from how wet you are. Pride swells in his chest because he did that.
Every moan that leaves your lips is his own little reward, one that he is dying to receive more, and more, and more of. Forever.
Jeno knows you’re close. It would’ve been easy to get you off right there, and he would’ve, had he not abruptly pulled away from you. You curse under your breath at the loss of contact.
“Jeno!”
He smirks, loving the way you squirm as he nudges your legs further apart. His breath is hot against your skin as he murmurs, “Got to tell me what you want, baby.”
You groan frustratingly, since apparently he wasn’t going to give it to you unless you said something. “I want you, now. Just need you inside me.”
He smirks, the grip he had on your thighs tightening and the muscles in his arms flexing beneath his shirt. He shifts his hips, pushing the crown of his cock against your entrance — slowly, sensually, tormentingly.
You lean into him, nails digging into the fabric on his back as he presses his forehead against your neck, soft hisses escaping him as he feels you — wet and tight.
“This pussy was fucking made for me,” he growls, cock buried to the hilt. He could stay there forever, selfishly he wants to, but he can hear your whimpers and the need to please you becomes priority.
He bottoms out and then his hips are snapping forward hard, fast, possessive. Whatever words you wanted to say dissolves into a senseless moan. His thrusts become more erratic and needy and the pace has you clenching down around him. Fuck.
Jeno stills. His breath ghosts over your collarbones and his fingers dig even further into your hips. You know that look, he’s struggling to keep himself under control, which, given the circumstances is the last fucking thing you want.
“Not gonna last long if you keep doing that baby.”
He’s trying to reason with you, but before you really have time to think about what you’re doing you’re clawing at his back, tightening your legs around and digging the heels of your shoes into his back hard enough that he growls, low and frightening in a way that makes your spine tingle.
“Fuck,” he grits out thrusting into you hard. The sound of skin hitting skin is loud and vulgar in the middle of the street, but you don’t care and can’t care because fuck, all you can think about is how it feels as he rocks into you, again and again and again.
“Jeno,” you gasp out, grip digging into his shoulders as he fucks you, ruthless and unforgiving.
He’s relishing in it, you can tell by the way he’s looking at you that he’s trying to fucking burn the sight into his brain forever, the sounds you’re making and the way you shiver in his arms and the sheer force of it all. He groans and when he kisses you again it’s nearly violent, a clash of lips and tongues and teeth.
“All mine,” he groans against your mouth. He hisses as you bite at his bottom lip, retaliating with a growl and driving his hips into yours with a newfound ruthlessness. “Tell me you’re mine.”
“Oh—fuck please,” you gasp out, breaths coming out in little huffs in time with the movement of his body.
“Not what I asked,” he lowers his voice, serious. His pace slows down and it has you squirming and crying out.
“Fuck yes—yours Jeno. Always been yours. Just please don’t stop—”
Jeno groans and kisses your neck. He picks up his pace again. The same low tone in his voice as he promises, “I’m all yours too.”
You swear those three simple words were the sexiest thing you’ve ever heard. Your walls flutter around him and you don’t miss the prideful grin on his face as his hand moves down from your hip and his thumb presses against your clit.
His fingers move hurriedly and the pleasure is suddenly blinding and white and fuck fuck—
“Jeno yes just like that I’m gonna—”
“Good fucking girl,” he chokes out, your orgasm shaking him to his core, making his thrusts half-desperate.
His rhythm falters and his own breath catches. He digs his fingers into your hip hard enough that it makes you hiss and then he falters and slows and gives one, two, three more thrusts before pinning you harder with a shaky, breathless sigh.
The two of you stay like that for a beat before he lowers you back to the ground, pulling down your dress. Then slowly, he brings his fingers to his lips and licks, tasting you with a roll of his eyes.
“I mean it, you know,” He quietly says. “I’m all yours.”
Your arms wrap around his neck, pulling him into a revering kiss, and you tell him the exact same thing back.

jeno fucking a dumb sensitive overly submissive reader?
a/n: sorry to the anon that sent this months ago... but, ig i'm officially back now :D
by the time jeno decides to slide his fingers out of your poor sopping cunt, you can barely tell where or when you are anymore. you sit and twitch in his lap, basking in the numbing daze of being fingerfucked through a countless number of orgasms. his arms wrap around your body bringing your back flush against him, his erection presses firmly against your ass.
"baby...” he whispers lustily into your ear.
"jen- i-i just-" you've barely caught your breath and your legs are still shaking.
"don't tell me you've had enough, i haven't even cum yet." he pouts while rocking his hips against you to emphasise his desperation. "lemme keep making you feel good." his mouth grazes your shoulder as his hands skim down your tummy to push your thighs apart.
"you don't want me to stop, do you?" it sounds more like he's telling you than a question. of course, he knows what your body wants better than you; there's no way you can deny him.
jeno wastes no time rearranging your tired limbs, laying you on your back. he crawls over you eclipsing and caging you with his muscular form, a darkness akin to that of a starved beast ready to descend swirling behind his sparkly brown eyes. your entire body jumps in surprise as you feel his hard cock brush against your puffy folds.
"sure you can take it?" he chuckles, reaching a hand down to take hold of his girth and slap it down against your swollen clit - a feeling you can't help but mewl at.
"please, jeno, please! i want- i need your cock." tears begin to prick your eyes. the empty feeling between your legs begins to gnaw at your sanity.
how can he deny you when you beg so, so well? you bite back a whine as he buries his swollen tip into your slit. a sensation so searingly pleasurable begins to spread through your body as he sinks into you.
"oh my f- jeno!" you shriek, the stretch becoming more overwhelming with each inch. "it's so, i- you're so-"
"it's okay," he coos out as your clumsy hands rush to claw at the sheets. "i know baby, you’re still sensitive, but you’re gonna be good and take it all, m’kay."
this was the part jeno loved. his eyes don't leave your face for a second as he bullies the rest of his cock into you. your eyes gloss over and your mouth lolls open, the feeling of being filled so well was just too much for your poor, dumb brain to handle.
your sensitivity seemly becomes contagious, as he takes a moment to revel in your warmth; your walls grip and suck around him, even though you swore you couldn't take it a couple of minutes ago.
he takes hold of your waist pulling out to sharply thrust back in forcing a hiccup out of you. the meek sounds turn into garbled moans about how good it feels as he picks up the pace, each thrust sending you further into hysteria.
"takin' me so fucking well." he strains, “my perfect, dumb little fuckdoll.”
his heart swells as tears begin to spill from your eyes but it's overpowered by the need to ruin you further. as you sob, he clutches your jaw and kisses you tenderly while bucking into you viciously. your cunt convulses around him so enticingly, your legs spread further under the influence of his strong hand so easily,
"shit, not gonna last long, baby, feel too good." you can barely even process what he’s saying any more. all you can do is take him and feverishly shudder at the feeling of your silky walls being stretched to their limit.
jeno just barely makes out the word ‘inside’ between the jumble of sounds coming out of your mouth.
"cum for me first, yeah?" jeno can feel his balls tightening, your heat gripping him dizzyingly tight, begging to be pumped full. "wanna see you make a mess all over my cock."
jeno's thumb rubs down on your clit in rapid circles as his thrusts start getting choppy. his moans getting whinier by the second.
a burst of power seems to shoot through him as he lifts your hips higher angling himself to perfectly hit your spot. you let out a shrill before releasing; making a bigger mess than either of you expected as you squirt all over his abdomen.
“good girl, messy fucking slut,” the sound of your skin slapping together becomes overwhelmingly wet. all the stimuli push jeno over the edge; his nails dig into your hips, pushing the both of you to your limit to hit your deepest spots.
“gonna- take it all for me, i’m- fuck!” he lets out an almost pained groan as he pumps thick, hot spurts of cum deep inside of you. eyes rolling back as his mouth hangs open.
jeno just barely catches himself before smooshing you under his weight. you’re still trembling and gasping at the aftershocks of it all as he rests his forehead against your own. his breath fans over your face before he connects his lips with yours passionately, turning into somewhat of a doting puppy now his carnal desires have been satiated.
“okay? too much?” he breathes out, sweetly dotting kisses all over your face.
“‘m okay,” you slur, eyes barely staying open. he had drained all the energy out of you; you’re surprised you’re even still conscious.
“did so well for me,” he plants one last peck on your lips, “think that might have been the hardest i’ve ever cum, thank you.”

I was feeling inspired and wrote the first little bit of this Yoga Steve Steddie and Buckingham au I was playing with yesterday. Not sure if I'll continue with it, but I had some dialogue floating around in my head and wanted to let it out.
I'm not really experienced in writing dialogue so my apologies if it came out weird.
------
Steve thinks Robin is being ridiculous, but at the same time, he knows firsthand how far someone will go for a crush. Robin calls him a “loverboy” which, is not completely off the mark but feels unnecessary to point out right after Steve gets ghosted…again.
But that’s beside the point. The point being that Robin has been going off about how she cornered herself into going to an intermediate yoga class to try and woo the cute girl who sits in front of her in her mandatory Writing 212 class. Apparently, Robin got a full two minutes of conversation in with said girl, a real feat since Robin usually spends the whole class psyching herself up to talk to her and then chickens out and dashes out the door as soon as class lets out. During said conversation, Robin found out Chrissy is a yoga instructor at the rec off campus, which resulted in Robin blurting out that she’s been meaning to take up yoga again (she’s never been) and that she’ll stop by a class sometime.
Which leads to now.
“-and I’ve never done yoga! I’ve never even thought about yoga except for that one time my hippie aunt Jen came to stay with us for a week and took up the entire living room every morning to do her weird stretches-” breath “and you know how clumsy I am! I’m going completely fall on my face and the angle that is Chrissy Cunningham is going to know that I’m a failed jock with no coordination and she’ll never fall in love with me!” she finally stops, taking a big heaving breath.
Steve, used to these occasional Robin Buckley rants had been leaning against the breakfast bar letting her go on for the last three and a half minutes. Sometimes it’s just better to let her get it out first.
“You done?” Steve asks, raising an eyebrow.
“I’m done,” she replies, flopping on the sofa behind her like all the wind has gone out of her sails. Steve hates to see her upset, but at the end of the day, it’s an easy fix.
“Sweet. So I’ll just go with you alright? And when you completely biff it and fall on your face I’ll just,” he steps away from the bar and mimes falling onto the couch next to her, ignoring her over-exaggerated oof, “fall even harder, or whatever. Make a whole scene of it.” Robin glares a little at the when, but ultimately can’t be upset when they both know it’s inevitable.
“Seriously?” she asks, eyes big and blue in a way that always makes Steve want to punch a wall. He doesn’t. Only did it once when they were both supremely drunk and feeling emotional, but he does wrap his arms around her narrow shoulders.
“Eh, why not? Maybe I’ll even find a cool yoga babe of my own to woo,” he says while waggling his brows in a way that makes her scrunch up her nose.
“As if Harrington. I bet you’ll fall even more than me. You’re big jock muscles aren’t designed for flexibility,” she says with a faux pretentious accent.
“We’ll see about that, Buckley.”
------
Steve, much to Robin’s chagrin, does not fall on his face. Well, he does once, but it’s only because he’s following through on his promise to crash out for her when she falls on her face. Which she does almost as soon as Chrissy gives the instruction to lift their left leg while in downward dog. Unfortunately, it only worked the first time. The second time Robin crashed down, Steve wasn’t in a safe position to fall with her. By the time he was, the moment had passed. Luckily it’s nearing the end of the class when it happens and Chrissy mercifully releases them to relax in a corpse pose which, if you asked Robin, was perfectly fitting given the situation.
Steve though.
Steve really enjoyed the class.
Robin was right when he said his usual exercise regime wasn’t necessarily focused on flexibility and balance, but he finds yoga challenging in a gentler way than basketball or swimming. By the end of the day, he’s signing up for the full 12-week course and talking to Chrissy about what kind of equipment he should invest in.
“The most important thing is the grip. Mine was really expensive but I use it for work so I wouldn’t get the same one unless you’re planning to use it every day. If you’re comfortable giving me your number, I can send you some links to more reasonably priced ones.” Wow, Steve gets why Robin likes her so much. She’s like a walking ray of sunshine. Part of him wonders if she’s hitting on him, but she seems like she genuinely wants to help, not take him on a date.
“Sure, yeah, that would be great. Let me just…” he pulls out his phone and unlocks it, handing it over to the girl in front of him. She puts in her name and number, which, is always good. Steve is so bad with names he wouldn’t want to spell it wrong and give Robin another reason to make fun of him. She hands it back and Steve is getting ready to say his goodbyes and go hunt down Robin, who fled as soon as the class went out, but Chrissy starts talking before he can.
“You came with Robin, right? Robin Buckley?” She blurts out, clearly nervous. “We’re in class together but I didn’t know she had a boyfriend. It’s nice to meet you!” It’s not that Steve thinks she’s lying, but there’s an undercut of something that makes him think Robin might not be alone in her pining.
“Yeah, we came in together.” He lets it hang, watching as her shoulders slump a little. “But we’re not dating or anything. I’m, uh, not really her type.” Her eyes go a little wide at his emphasis on type, perking up at the knowledge that Robin isn’t dating.
Oh yeah, he thinks, she’s got it just as bad.

jeno breeding/impreg kink
(MDNI)
jeno wants babies ofc , everything is consensual , jeno has a big dick ofc , unprotected sex (wrap that dick up pls) , rough sex , pet names, a lot of bad words , lil bit of ass slapping , face down ass up, not proof-read cause my writing makes me cringe , requested here !
as jeno watched you from across the room he couldn't help but notice how natural holding a baby was for you. your soft hands caressing the baby's face, a slight pout to your lips as you spoke to him. you had this sort of glow to you, a motherly glow, and in a sick twisted way, seeing you like this made his pants tighten.
why did people say you had to wait to have children? right now all jeno could think about was you, full and plump with his child, breasts swollen and skin glowing. he could make you his completely. forever.
"hi pretty girl."
jeno's arm's snaked around your waist, pulling you into his chest before leaning down to plant a kiss to your forehead. you smiled up at him,
"hi jen, thank you for coming by the daycare today, the kids love you."
he left out a soft hum in agreement, hands traveling down to grab your ass lightly, a soft sigh leaving your lips as he planted light kisses to your neck. you giggled, trying to push him away, his arms holding you tighter,
"i like going, like seeing you like that."
you relaxed into his arms, his teeth nipping at your collarbones,
"like what jen?"
he bit at the skin lightly, hands moving up and under your shirt, goosebumps rising on your body as his cold hands rubbed your back.
"like a mother, can't stop thinking about filling you up with my babies, fuck- you'd look so good."
his hands moved forward to rub at your belly, his bulge growing impossibly harder. you moved you hands down to squeeze the front of his pants, smiling as he moaned softly,
"why don't you do it then, hm? what's stopping you?"
you watched as he let out a shaky breath, his forehead pressed against yours, eyes shut,
"don't do this to me baby, this isn't a funny."
you brought your hands up to hold his face, his eyes fluttering open to look at you,
"who said i'm joking?"
that was enough confirmation for jeno as he leaned in, kissing you harshly. the kiss was messy, teeth clashing and tongues fighting. you'd never seen jeno this desperate, his hand roaming your body, grabbing, scratching, getting a hold of anything he could.
he pulled off your shirt, quick fingers fumbling with you bra,
"jen slow down, baby what's the rush?"
he looked up at you, breathless, his cheeks dusted a light shade of pink,
"can't wait, please, want you baby, need you- fuck- why won't this thing come off."
he pulled at your bra, clips snapping off with his force. you gasped as he picked you up, rushing to get to your shared room. his movements were rough, but he looked at you with love in his eyes, hands soothing any skin he grabbed too hard, lips kissing any mark he left.
he kissed down your body, removing each article of clothing as he went. you stopped his movements as he reached your core, lips hovering over your heat,
"jen please, need you in me, now."
he was quick to comply removing all of his clothes before lining himself up at your entrance, his hands shaky as he slowly slid in,
"fuckkk, baby- fuck, so tight, sucking me in so good."
you moaned as you looked down, watching as his length disappeared inside you, your walls burning at the stretch,
"jen please, please fuck me, need this so bad baby please."
he grunted as he flipped you over, hands gripping your hips as he pulled your ass up. you winced as he gave your ass a light slap, his length pressed right against your core.
"you asked for it baby, now be good and take it."
you back arched as he slid right in, your juices coating his length. his pace was slow but harsh, hips snapping roughly against your ass, his grip on your hips deadly.
"shitt baby, wish you could see yourself, so fucking wet baby, like the idea of my filling you up that much, hm?"
you nodded your head, hair scattered against the bedsheets, hands pulling tightly at the fabric,
"yes jen, fuck- yes, want you to fill me up so good- fuck."
his thrusts picked up in pace a moan leaving his lips as you begged him to fuck you full,
"gonna fill this pussy up baby, get this belly full with my babies, fuck- you like that huh? feel you squeezing around me pretty girl."
your mouth fell open into a silent moan as jeno pounded into you, his tip poking at that sweet spot inside you.
"jeno, jeno, fuck, 'm gonna cum, oh my- jen, please don't stop."
he chuckled at your disheveled state, drool spilling out of your mouth and your hair a mess as he fucked you into the mattress, pussy tightening around him as you came undone.
"just like that baby, shit creaming all over me, so fucking dirty."
he slapped your ass again before pulling your hips towards him harshly, your legs trembling at the feeling,
"fuck yourself on me baby, like you want it, mhm good baby, keep going."
you used your last bit of strength to push your hips back onto his, his hands keeping you steady as you moaned softly at the sensitivity.
"jen please fill me up, want all of it, wanna have your kids, please."
the growl he let out was animalistic as snapped his hips into yours, a yelp leaving your lips at the force. his pace was inhumane, his loud grunts and the sound of your wet heat filling the room.
"you're so perfect baby, shit, i'm gonna cum, holy- fuck baby."
you squeezed around him as his cum coated your walls. a string of curses leaving his lips as his hands left bruises on your hips. his large hand rubbing down your back to soothe your shaking figure.
instead of pulling out jeno kept his hips flush against your ass, leaning down close to your ear.
"gotta make sure none of it goes to waste right? promise i'm gonna make you mommy."
you always wanted to call jeno daddy anyways.

Trial order and why Lilia, not Agatha, is last (not counting Rio)
Kay, so I got another off-the-wall theory for you, this time around the order of the trials and why Lilia, not Agatha, is actually going to be last (if we don't count Rio). It goes back to maiden mother crone and some of the trauma/generational trauma stuff I already talked about in a previous post. As with The Road, continue at your own peril.
Right so I couldn't get this idea of maiden mother crone, intergenerational trauma, dealing with the long history of violence toward witches thing out of my head that the show is doing. And I think we've all been assuming that Lilia's trial will be next, saving Agatha and probably Rio for last, because those are standard main character of a TV show rules.
But the more I think about it, the more weight I feel like Lilia's journey carries for this overall theme of trauma toward witches and the history of witches, etc. She seems to have the most intense connection to the pain of witches past, like old-world witch stuff, and she's the one who's brought up multiple times that witches aren't really as they've been portrayed, there's all these negative stereotypes, etc etc. And she's sick of it. She's lived through it for the longest of all of them (again, leaving whatever Rio is out of it).
Idk, something that big, addressing the long history of violence toward witches and witch stereotypes, that feels like you have to deal with it last. That's a culmination of all the witch references, pop culture and otherwise, the show has been making, of which there are MANY.
So I thought ok, for funzies, let's assume Lilia's last, which puts our trial order as follows: Jen -> Alice -> Agatha -> Lilia (and I guess true last would be Rio but I'll get there in a second).
Assuming that order, something else pinged for me: maiden mother crone. Another massive theme in the show, portraying these generations of witches and women in general, and again, for reasons I can't explain, it really feels like it has weight to me. Like they're doing something with it.
So leaving Jen aside for a second, don't worry I'll come back to her, that makes Alice our maiden. Her role, particularly in the context of her trial, is the role of daughter. She's also the youngest of the witches, as far as I can tell. She's even coded as kind of the rebellious one, the young angry one who still hasn't quite accepted her heritage, until after her trial, she does.
Agatha is the mother. We are really going for the mother/child relationship with her and Teen, and of course dealing with her son's death and whatever part she played in it. I would assume her trial will be about that, but we could also be saving that for the end. The mother is also the connector generation between maiden and crone, so maybe there's something there about Agatha fully stepping into the leader role of the coven, and accepting these women around her, idk.
Lilia, the eldest, is our crone. She carries the true history and memory of generations of witches with her, she has lived the longest through the most trials. She is the most experienced in the craft and takes it the most seriously. The journey is hers to end.
Except -- we have two other players left. Jen, who kicks off the trials, and Rio, who I'm assuming doesn't really have a trial but will be there at the end... because, you know. 💀
So why would Jen be first? What comes before the maiden?
And then she said it herself.
"I never fully identified as a witch. I am an 11th-generation root worker and midwife."
This one line almost puts her in a similar category to Rio, at least thematically. She's a witch but also more, neither and both. And she's a midwife, someone who helps facilitate birth. Someone who, at her best, supports and sustains life. Someone who allows the first phase of life, the maiden, to come into being.
And guess who that leaves us with at the end, the opposite bookend to Jen's life-giving power -- the mistress of death herself, Rio. The one to which all life must eventually return.
The trials aren't just about elements, or moon phases, or even different witch specialties, they're taking us through the stages of a witch herself. The stages of ALL women really (whether you are an actual mother with children or not, the mother phase is mid-life). Linking us all together, generation after generation.
So in this theory, the trials go like this:
Jen -> Alice -> Agatha -> Lilia -> Rio
Birth -> Maiden -> Mother -> Crone -> Death
Even the moon phases line up. Full moon is birth, a full-term pregnancy and then birth. Waxing moon, growth, renewal, hope, promise -- the maiden. Half moon, mid-life, no longer maiden, not yet crone, the in-between -- the mother. Waning moon, the last quarter of life -- crone. New moon, darkness, returning to the void -- death. They're playing fast and loose with the moon phase order, so I am too.
I can probably fudge the elements here too, but it's a little harder mostly because I don't know what Agatha's element is. I heard someone say spirit, but idk.
Anyway, what do you think? Am I on to something here? Batshit crazy? Would love to hear your thoughts in comments. :)

Can I request a Rio x Reader one shot where Reader gets hurt during her trial and Rio takes care of her afterwards ? Just some sweet hurt/ comfort 😭
- Did you get enough love, my little dove?
Relationships: Rio Vidal x Reader
Summary: After Alice's trial, comes yours. You weren't prepared to deal with past memories of pain.
Warnings: Violence. Angst. Fluff
A/N: I'm sorry that the requests are taking so long for me to get through! I promise I'm working on them.
The New Moon was high in the sky, its light shining down through the trees. You meandered at the back of the group, Rio lingering next to you, her hand brushing against yours, soft and gentle. Rio wasn't often a kind person, often preferring to hide her care behind teasing remarks, but when she caught sight of the moon in the sky she knew who's trial it would be.
The coven approached a little cabin that stood there, bright grass blooming around it and flowers blossoming in the front. Your breath caught in your throat at the sight of the familiar building, your steps halting. Rio glanced back at you, a brow raised in a challenge, and your pride flared. You huffed before moving forward and marching towards the house.
"Who's trial is this?" Teen asked, examining the door that was locked. It had runes carved onto the front; ones meticulously carved out after days of work. You remember working them onto the door by hand, a project you devoted yourself to for days. You had carved runes all over the walls of the house, preventing other witches from using their magic, but the runes on the door were for a special reason alone.
Agatha hummed as she examined the runes before turning back to you with an expectant brow. The witch had visited you once while you lived here, searching for another gullible victim before moving on. You stepped up to the house, muttering a small spell and pressed your hand up to the door. The runes glowed a soft blue before it opened with a click. Jen muttered something to Alice behind you.
The coven entered the door and the minute they did, everyone disappeared. It seems this was a trial meant for you alone. While it struck you as odd, since the Road was intended for the coven, you let it slide. You scanned your old house, taking it in. The fireplace was lit with a few logs burning inside it. A book was set on the table in the center of the room, it's cover from having read it over and over.
You picked it up, reading over the pages as a soft smile crossed your face - peace washing over you. It was a book your mother had read to you as a child, an old book, and you could still hear her soft words as she stroked your hair. You didn't have the exact copy, it had been burned by witch hunters years ago, but this was close enough.
Just as you were about to settle on the couch, lost in the world of the book, the door burst open, shouts filling the room. You leapt up, hands poised to fight as you caught sight of familiar faces. Men, with masks on their face, and knives in their hands. Modern witch hunters. No guns, guns were too loud, too avoidable with magic. Backing up, your hands pressed into the wall. Their eyes were alight with sinister intent.
You glanced down at your hands as blue magic glowed, but also noticed that you were devoid of the scars you had received many years ago. The men approached, slowly, cornering you, and then one lunged. The minute he lunged, you copied your movements from the past, not learning from your mistakes, and tried to blast him. He flew back, hitting the wall, slumped and lifeless. It was one of the only times you had taken a life.
Even if you knew it happened, you stared horrified at his hollowed chest. You magic had created the gaping whole that tore all the way through him, burnt so that no blood could come out. It was a horrifying sight, one you would never get used to, no matter how many times you had killed.
While you were stunned another one of the men lunged, his hands securing a rope around yours.
Your magic was incapacitated.
You fought as he grabbed your wrists, hauling you close to the fire. Memories of the first time this happened were seared into your brain, but there was nothing you could do. No matter how hard you thrashed, no matter how much you kicked and screamed. Even as you cried for Rio, for anyone in the coven, it did nothing. The man pulled you down to the ground and so close to the fire that the heat licked your skin.
Taking a hold of your forearms, the witch hunter shoved your hands into fire. You clenched your teeth as it burned your fingers, refusing to let the pain escaped in the form of screams.
"You use these hands to hurt so many people, don't you?" he snarled into your ear, the words cutting deep into your chest. And before you had time to process them, there was a cold metal pressed against your back as the hem of your shirt was lifted up.
You knew what was coming. The blade pressed into your skin as you hands began to go numb into the fire. Words were carved into your back, painful and slow and tedious. Before he could finish both of the men were torn away. Rio had thrown one of them into the wall with Teen and Agatha tearing the other away from you.
Rio rushed forward after killing the man swiftly with her knife, rushing forward towards you. You scrambled back, wrists held tight to your chest and eyes frantically scanning the area. Pausing, Rio took in your state, and her face softened.
"My love," she cooed, crouching down and reaching out, but not touching, "It's Rio."
Your eyes met hers, and although it took you a moment to recognize her, you threw yourself at her, regardless of the pain, clinging to her desperately. With numb fingers, you sobbed into her shirt - hardly noticing that the back door slid open, revealing the road. Teen and Agatha stood away, the latter eyeing you with an odd mix of disdain and pity.
"Sweetheart, we have to leave." Rio gently helped you up, ignoring your whimper of pain and guided you out the door and onto the road once more. Once that was done your wounds vanished, disappearing completely.
You nearly sobbed in relief, until you noticed the scars still lingered. Some part of you had hoped they would be gone. Teen and Alice tried to approach you. He reached his hand out to touch your arm, a thing meant to be comforting, but Rio had her knife out as you flinched.
"Touch her and I will fucking kill you." She snarled, pulling you close, ignoring Agatha's scoff and Jen's annoyed sound. Rio dragged the two of you further away and set you down on the ground, gently sitting next to you.
You curled into her, resting your head on her lap as she stroked her hands through your hair. It felt divine to have her fingers tracing your jaw and slipping up and down your neck. Sighing, you pushed back into her stomach so that your face was buried. Her outfit allowed for skin-to-skin contact, and her cold skin was a nice contrast to the heat of the fire you had felt moments ago. Rio chuckled slightly, her fingers pausing, and she bent down to give place a tender kiss onto your head.
You were shaking in her gentle hold, eyes trained forward as you tried to push away the dull phantom pain and the lingering memories that danced beneath your eyes. Rio's fingers were soothing as they stroked your chin. A steady movement - up and down, tracing back up into your hair before going back down.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there," she whispered. You shook your head into her stomach, non-verbally telling her it wasn't her fault. Slowly, your body stopped shaking, but you still clung to her desperately. Her presence was grounding. She made you feel safe even though you felt like witch hunters would pop around the corner and attack you.
The two of you sat there in silence for a while, your head pressed into her stomach while she soothed your worried mind.
"You won't ever leave, right?" Your words were broken and raw, vulnerability at its truest form. At least for you.
Rio's hands froze in your hair, but she leaned down and pressed a kiss to your temple, "Never."

My short time here has been so so warm 💚 tysm @saradika-graphics for the dividers
It had been a long day for Joel Miller. He just finished a grueling shift at the fire station and was looking forward to some much-needed rest and relaxation. But his plans were quickly dashed when he received a call from his best buddy, your dad.
"Hey, Joel. I hate to ask, but I need a favor," Al says, his voice sounds strained.
Joel sits up in his chair, immediately alert. "What's goin’ on?"
"Jen and I are taking a trip to the Bahamas for a week, and we were wondering if you could check up on the house and our daughter while we're gone.”
Joel sighs, running a hand through his greying hair. "Sure. But you know she’s not a little girl anymore, right? She's a grown woman now."
Your dad chuckles. "I know, I know. But she's still my little girl, and I just want to make sure she's okay while we're gone."
Joel smiles, feeling a surge of affection for his friend. "No problem. I'll keep an eye on her."
A week later Joel finds himself standing outside of his best friend Al's house, the keys jingling in his hand. He takes a deep breath and inserts the key into the lock, turning it until he hears the satisfying click of the door opening. Joel walks into the house, taking in the familiar sights and smells. He feels a pang of nostalgia as he looks around the living room, remembering all the times he and Al hung out here, watching football and drinking beer.
But there's no sight of you. so he makes his way down the hall, peeking into each room until he comes to your door.
But you're not in your room.
He frowns, wondering where you are. It's not like you to wander off without telling anyone. Even as a grown adult, you still always made sure someone knew your whereabouts. He checks his phone, but there are no messages or missed calls. As he turns back to the hall, he hears the faint sound of a voice coming from what sounds like the bathroom. So he decides to check just in case.
As he approaches, he hears the sound of water running and the faint sound of moaning. He pauses, his heart racing as he realises what's happening behind the closed door. He knows he shouldn't, but he can't help it. Without thinking, he reaches out and turns the doorknob, pushing the door open just a crack. He can see you through the foggy glass, your naked body glistening with water.
His eyes widen as he takes in the sight before him. You're standing under the pulsing stream of water, your hand between your legs as you bring yourself to climax. He knows he shouldn't be watching this, but he can't bring himself to look away. He feels a surge of desire course through his veins as he watches you pleasure yourself.
You tilt your head back, letting the water run down your neck and body, and he can't help but stare. His eyes are drawn to the way your hips move as you touch yourself. The way you're grasping the walls to get some leverage. He feels his own body responding, his cock growing painfully hard in his pants.
He reaches down and unzips his jeans, pulling out his thick, ready erection, filling his hand. He starts to stroke himself, his eyes never leaving your body. He can feel his balls tighten as he watches you get closer and closer to your own orgasm.
But just as you're about to come, your eyes widen in shock as you catch sight of Joel standing in the doorway, his jeans unzipped and his thick, hard cock in his hand. You gasp, your body freezing in surprise as you realize that he's been watching you.
"Joel, what the fuck are you doing here?" you demand, trying to cover yourself with your hands.
But Joel doesn't seem to hear you. His eyes are fixed on your body, his hand moving a little faster as he strokes himself.
"Don't stop on my account, sweetheart," he says, his voice low and husky. "You look so fuckin' hot, touchin' yourself like that."
You feel a surge of anger and embarrassment, but there's something else there too – something that makes your heart race and your body tingle. You've always had a bit of a crush on Joel, and now here he is, watching you pleasure yourself.
"Fuck you," you say, trying to sound angry. But your voice comes out breathless and shaky, betraying your arousal.
Joel chuckles, stepping into the bathroom and closing the door behind him. "Oh, I fully intend to fuck you, sweetheart," he says, his eyes blazing with desire. Joel advances towards you, his cock still in his hand. You back away, your heart pounding in your chest. You know you should be angry, but all you can feel is a deep, primal desire.
"Joel, this is wrong," you say, but your voice is weak and uncertain.
Joel reaches out and strokes your cheek, his touch sending a shiver down your spine. "Sometimes, wrong can feel so right," he murmurs.
But you don't budge.
Joel's eyes soften as he looks at you. "Hey, hey," he says softly. "I'm not here to cause any trouble. Your dad asked me to check up on you while they're gone, that's all. I didn't mean to intrude." He pauses for a moment, then continues. "But I can't deny what I saw just now. You looked so beautiful, so alive. I'm not saying this is how things have to be, but I want you to know that I'm here for you, in whatever way you need me."
You can feel your heart racing as you look at Joel, your body trembling with a mixture of embarrassment, anger, and desire. You know that what he's suggesting is wrong, that it could ruin your relationship with your dad. But there's something about the way he's looking at you, that makes you want to throw caution to the wind.
You take a deep breath, trying to steady yourself. "Joel, I don't w -”
He takes a step back before you finish, putting his hands up like you're playing cops and robbers. You can see the disappointment in his eyes as he puts himself back into his jeans and turns to leave. But just as he reaches for the doorknob, you hear yourself say something unexpected.
"Wait," you say, your voice barely above a whisper. "I - I do want this, Joel, please. I just, I really don't know -"
Joel's expression darkens as he turns back around and walks up to you. He reaches out to grab a handful of your hair, pulling your head back so that you're looking up at him. "You don't have to know, sweetheart," he growls. "You just have to feel." He leans down to kiss you, his lips crushing against yours as his tongue demands entry into your mouth. You moan softly, your body melting against his as you kiss him back, your hands reaching up to clutch at his shoulders.
When the kiss breaks, you see Joel smile, his eyes burning with desire. "Let's not waste any more time." He takes your hand, pulling you toward the bathtub. "Get on the edge, darlin’," he orders, his voice rough with desire.
You do as he says, your heart pounding in your chest as you watch him move around the bathtub, positioning himself between your legs. He looks at you, his eyes blazing with desire as he reaches out and touches you, his fingers sliding easily between your wet folds.
"You're so wet," he murmurs, his voice thick with lust. "You want this as much as I do dont’cha?” Joel's fingers explore your body, teasing and tantalizing you as he strokes your slick folds. You moan softly, your hips bucking up to meet his touch as he brings you closer and closer to the edge. "Please, Joel," you gasp, your voice desperate with need. "Need more."
Joel smirks, his eyes glinting with mischief. "More, huh? Well, let's see if we can't take care of that for ya, baby." He leans down, his mouth replacing his fingers as he starts to lick and suck at your clit. You cry out, your hands reaching down to clutch at his head as he devours you with an intensity that takes your breath away.
"Fuck, Joel," you gasp, your body trembling with pleasure. "Don't stop, please, don't stop."
Joel chuckles, the vibrations sending shivers down your spine. "I have no intention of stopping, sweetheart," he murmurs, his breath hot against your skin. "I'm going to make you come harder than you ever have before."
True to his word, Joel doesn't stop, his tongue works magic on your clit as his fingers plunge deep inside you, curling up to hit the sweetest spot. You can feel yourself getting closer and closer to the edge, your body tensing up as you approach your climax.
"Joel, I'm gonna come," you gasp.
Joel doesn't respond, his mouth and fingers continuing their relentless assault on your body. You can feel yourself spiraling out of control, your climax building up inside of you like a tidal wave.
"Joel, I'm coming!" You scream, your body convulsing with pleasure as you shatter into a thousand pieces. You grip onto Joel as hard as you can but doesn't let up, his tongue continues to lap at your clit as you ride out your orgasm, your body trembling with aftershocks.
When it's over, Joel pulls back, a satisfied smile on his face as he looks up at you. "See? Told you I'd make you come harder than you ever have."
You can't help but smile back, your body still tingling with pleasure. "You definitely did," you admit, your voice soft and dreamy.
Joel stands up, his cock hard and ready again beneath his jeans. "Good, I'm not done with you yet." He takes your hand leading you to your bed, instructing you to sit on the edge while he undresses. He steps closer, his body pressing against yours, you can feel his cock pressing against you too.
Joel's lips find yours, his tongue plunging deep into your mouth as he kisses you with a passion that takes your breath away again. You can feel the heat of his body against yours, and the sensation of his hard cock pressing against you sends a shiver down your spine.
"I want you, Joel," you gasp, your voice hoarse with desire as you break the kiss.
Joel smirks, "Then take me, sweetheart," he growls, his voice rough with lust.
You don't need any more encouragement. You reach down, grabbing his cock and guiding it to your entrance. Joel doesn't wait, his hips thrusting forward as he impales you on his thick, hard length. You cry out as Joel starts to thrust in and out of you, his hips moving with a rhythm that drives you wild. You can feel yourself getting closer and closer to another climax, your body tensing up as you get close.
"Fuck, Joel," you gasp. "Harder, please."
Joel doesn't disappoint. His thrusts become more and more intense as he brings you closer. "Come for me, sweetheart," he growls, his voice rough with desire. "Come all over my cock, come on darlin I gotcha."
You can't help but obey, your climax building up inside you as Joel's thrusts become more and more intense. "Joel, m'gonna come again." You get out as your body convulses with pleasure as you shatter into a thousand pieces once again. Joel follows you over the edge, his cock twitching inside you as he comes with a low growl. When it's over, Joel pulls back, his cock slipping out of you with a wet sound. He looks down at you, his eyes softening as he takes in your dreamy state and disheveled hair.
"Are you okay, sweetheart?" he asks, his voice gentle.
You can't help but smile up at him, your heart still racing with pleasure. "I'm more than okay," you admit, your voice soft and dreamy.
Joel chuckles, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to your lips. "I'm glad," he murmurs. "Because I have to admit, I've been wanting to do that for a long time."
You can feel your heart racing as you look up at him, your body trembling with a mixture of embarrassment and desire. "You have?" you ask, your voice barely above a whisper.
Joel nods, "I've always had a thing for you, sweetheart. But I never wanted to ruin your relationship with your dad or my friendship with your dad."
You can understand where he's coming from, but you can't deny the way you feel. You've always had a crush on Joel, and now that you've experienced the passion that burns between you, there's no going back.
"I want this, Joel," you say, your voice firm and determined. "I want you."
Joel's expression softens, and he reaches out to stroke your cheek, his touch sending a shiver down your spine. "Are you sure, sweetheart?" he asks, his voice gentle. "I don't want you to do anything you're not ready for."
You nod, your heart racing with excitement and desire. "I'm sure, Joel," you say, your voice firm and determined. "I want you." You stroke his patchy beard, feeling a sense of contentment wash over you.
Joel's eyes light up, and he presses a gentle kiss to your lips. "I want to spend the rest of the week exploring every inch of your beautiful body."
And he does, taking you to heights of pleasure you never thought possible. By the time your dad and his wife come back from their trip, you and Joel have become inseparable, and you find yourself at his place more than not.
After a week of passion and exploration, you and Joel have grown even closer. You find yourself falling for him hard. You never thought you could feel this way about your dad's best friend, but here you are, head over heels for the man.
But you know that this is a secret that can never come out. You and Joel have talked about it at length, and you both know that the consequences would be disastrous. You're both aware of the potential fallout, and you're both committed to keeping your relationship a secret.
It's not easy to keep your relationship a secret from the world. But every time you're together, every time Joel touches you, every time he whispers sweet nothings in your ear, you know that it's all worth it.
You know that this was never meant to be, forged in the most unlikely of circumstances. But you also know that this is real and true and strong. And you're willing to do whatever it takes to protect it.
So you continue to see each other in secret, stealing moments of passion whenever you can. It's not perfect, but it's something. And for now, that's enough.

Scenario 1 🎮
"Unnie no fair you cheated!" You whined when you lost to Jisoo in mario cart. Both of you sitting on the comfy couch in your vacation hotel after a large and successful comeback, while your other members were in the kitchen, preparing the dinner for tonight, well except for Lisa who was failing her tasks miserably. "Yah, what do you mean I cheated, just admit it you lost boo" Your unnie teased, your puffed cheeks turning slightly red from embarrassment. Maybe it was your own fault for challenging the queen of games. "I can't believe I lost to an oldie" You earned an annoyed call from Jisoo, soon she nagged you on how to play the game properly, taking power ups, stop ramming into the sides, and what not. You stuck your tongue out at her while she talked and when she saw your little shenanigans, you booked it knowing she'll poke your sides.
Running into the kitchen, your unnies saw you as you frantically hid behind them. Hoping for you to get protected by them, but of course it's not going to work. "Y/n-ah!!" Jisoo ran to you in a flash, but you wont lose to her again, the other girls watched as the oldest and youngest chased each other around the whole hotel. It basically lasted for 4 mins until Jennie finally called you two to stop. As you enter the kitchen again for the 4th time from the chase, Jennie glared at you with her cat like eyes, making you immediately stop dead in your tracks. "U-unnie..." You stammered with your words getting scared, 'Did I piss her off too? ' You thought as you gave her your infamous puppy dog eyes for some mercy. Jennies eyes furrowed as she stared at you, trying not to break but come on, you looked far way too cute to get angry at.
She sighed and pinched your cheeks, her tall walls breaking in attempt to lecture you "You're going to get hurt if you continue baby, come on and eat" She whispered with loving eyes, you loved your Unnie so much, you loved all of them. But of course you're not always going to say that just to tease them,as a maknae your job is to be mischievous to them. You hear a scream from Jisoo from behind and immediately your flight or fight mode went off, you chose flight. Hugging Jennie to her neck you hid in the crook of her neck to get protected. "Nini!!" You screamed in fear, really not wanting to get tickled. Jisoo bursted out laughing, were you really that scared? Jennie glared at her as well, making her shut her mouth. "We were just playing Jen..." Walking closer to you and soon she unsurprisingly poked your sides, you jumped and whined. "Come on you're over reacting silly, stop clinging onto Jendkkie" You looked at her and just for funs and giggles you stuck your tongue out to just annoy her again. "Yah! You little-" Jennie playfully hit her head to stop and just let it go, earning a pout from the oldest.
"Girls, food is ready!" Chaeyoung called, walking towards you three while Lisa prepared the dishes to the plates. She stopped in her tracks when she saw the funny scene. "What are you guys doing" Laughing, she looked at you pushed your hair to the side so your forehead can breathe. "Jisoo-unnie is so mean!" You pouted back at your oldest member, making her pull a jokingly annoyed face. Before she could even defend herself, Chaeyoung immediately went to your side and pampered you. "Yah this is why she's so spoiled" Jisoo crossed her arms with furrowed eyebrows, you giggle and finally wanted to stop teasing your unnie. Letting go of Jennie you soon hugged Jisoo and apologized for teasing her, even if you two always teased each other, you still loved her. Soon Chaeyoung and Jennie joined in the hug while Jisoo apologized as well. The warm embrace making you all feel at home.
"Hey I also want to join!" Cutie Lisa hugged last making you all chuckle.
Scenario 2 🎥
A sunny afternoon was the perfect setting to go out to the mall, shopping for some groceries and whatever items your hearts desired. For you, it was basically hell. Your heels were killing your damn feet while you're sweating inside of your multi layered outfit, only now regretting your choices, you curse your past naive self. While you suffered from your poor choices, the worst part is it was as if you were invisible to your other members, completely forgetting about you ever since the outing started. Chaeyoung and Lisa were bickering in what to buy for tonight, including board games, food, and other necessities. While Lisa was recording your fun little outing for a vlog. "Come on please, play with me tonight this seems like a fun game" The blonde girl raised the board game up for the camera to see, Lisa can't help but just say yes. And then going back to the camera to shake her head and whisper playful no's. "Yah I heard that" She threw the board game in the basket, finally noticing your tired state, droplets of sweat twinkled on your forehead with your shaking feet not being able to support yourself properly.
"You okay bub? You don't look too good" You wanted to burst out right then and there, finally she noticed you. They were basically ignoring you for the past evening full of walking around and buying things. Rather than anger you start to tear up, making Chaeyoung panic. "Everything sucks" You sniffed, maybe you were over reacting? Maybe you're too sensitive? Maybe it's not even a big deal. You tried hard to reason with yourself, but no matter how much you invalidated your own feelings; nothing worked to calm your nerves down. In fact it made it all worse. "W-what wrong? Does your feet hurt? Here let me help you" You didn't reply, heart still filled with emotions, as Lisa turned the camera off, she finally noticed you two from behind, also spotting the tears on your face while Chaeyoung was taking your heels off. "Y/nnie what's wrong? Did Rosie bully you?" She wiped your tears with her sleeves, guilt emerging in your chest, it wasn't really their fault, yet you were still hurt. "You're probably the one who made her cry idiot" She replied with an annoyed tone making you shiver, Chaeyoung isn't the type to get frustrated at people.
"Here bub, climb on my back. I can carry you back to the van" Your tears swelled up again, you didn't deserve this just after throwing a stupid tantrum. "Listen to Chae, Ynnie, I'll carry your jacket, you're sweating beads" With that you went on Chaeyoungs back while hiding your face on her shoulder, tears still flowing while sniffling. The two older girls can't help but feel guilty, were they the reason you're crying? "Ynnie... Did we do something wrong? Please tell us so we can apologize properly" Lisa looked at you with worry in her eyes, hoping that you'd answer. You whisper something only you can understand on Chaeyoungs shoulder, although it was audible, they couldn't really understand your muffled words.
"Say it again bub what is it?"
"You two ignored me... Ever since this outing started, then my shoes started to get uncomfy to the point it really hurt my feet. And then I got to suffer the consequences of my own choice of clothing, today sucks..." They thought back to this morning where you all got to the mall, you were right. They did ignore you but not on purpose. It's when they always get interrupted to reply to you or when they just shrugged you off. Lisa even remembered that you mentioned how you feet started to get hurt but before she could acknowledge your comment, she got distracted by an item in the store. They both felt horrible, you didn't deserve such treatment. "We're sorry bub... We didn't realize it till now, we promise we'll make it up to you" Chaeyoung hung her head low, as with Lisa, "We promise it won't happen again." You feel content, that's all you wanted to hear from them, a sorry and some assurance where they'd make it up to you. Looking to your side, you were met with Lisa with furrowed eyebrows, guilt evident on her face. "Promise?" You held your pinky up, Lisa smiled brightly and took your pinky with hers, intertwining it.
"We promise" Kissing your forehead, the heavy weights in your chest finally lifting as you hugged Chaeyoung by her neck with a content smile on your face.

Agatha All Along deep dive: episode 5 part 5
(Wandavision entries: [1][2][3])
(AAA entries: ep1 [1][2][3][4] ep2 [1][2][3][4] ep3 [1][2][3] ep4 [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][+1] ep5 [1][2][3][4][5] ep6 [1][2][3] ep7 [1][2][3][4][5][6] ep8 [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] ep9 [1][2][3][4][5][6])
jen just shakes her head, bitter and not in the least surprised at what agatha did
meanwhile agatha is... she's just devastated
billy is the only person in the room who has never experienced and still doesn't comprehend the finality of death
agatha runs, she can't do anything else. rio is the only one that cares.
she looks so pathetic in that getup. her behaving like a little girl is not so funny anymore, is it?
as always, rio watches her. she has a lot to think about after this trial.
but alice needs her undivided attention now. lady death has to clock in.
I'm glad that we keep focusing on agatha's reaction. she used to be able to kill people and shake it off (or at least pretend to). she cannot shake alice off
and it was all for a tiny spark of magic. that is all that's left of alice on the mortal plane
when billy confronts her she visibly recoils and shrinks in on herself, like a child caught with her hand in the cookie jar
one hand on her own heart, one on billy's heart. like she's begging and willing him to understand
it's not: you lied. it's you lied to me. it's personal. it's the trust he had in a mentor and mother figure, irrevocably broken
agatha never lies to billy. she's shitty with him in many other ways, but she doesn't lie
billy, honey. you set out on a road trip with a literal serial killer.
agatha had this mad fantasy of billy and her becoming a family, a coven two. and of course she went and ruined it. she always does
jen has all her walls firmly up, she won't allow herself to grieve for alice. she's still on the verge of walking a dark path, and agatha is the one pushing and pushing her toward it
lilia, who has lost and grieved so many, is just numb with pain. Death is unstoppable. hey guys, remember the first three episodes? when everything seemed so fun and carefree?
to billy witches were spellbooks and broomsticks and hot topic eyeliner. how do you explain to a kid the ugliness and violence and trauma that will inevitably fester in a marginalized, repressed community?
from the mouth of a child. she might have killed alice by accident. she has been deliberately and systematically killing many more to serve her own agenda.
and what agatha does, when confronted with ugly truths? she runs, and if she can't run, she goes all in with the spectacle and the cruelty
she could have picked any moment to talk about wanda. she could have broken the news gently, eased billy into understanding what he's been doing. now she's just lashing out in anger and fear and pain. billy did just put her through hell, but she's still the only adult of the two, no matter how immature she wishes to act
when push comes to shove, when it all becomes too much, agatha will latch to her self-preservation instincts and choose to protect herself over anyone else, even the people she loves. She's doing it with billy, she's doing it with rio. I'd argue that she did it with nicky, too.
hey, hey agatha, remember what happened the last time you poked a chaos witch with a stick? you dumb idiot.
fucking around meets finding out etc etc etc etc
boy is she SCREAMING. this bitch will never go down quietly, she'll snivel and cry like the sad pathetic creature she is
and the parallels and the irony of billy hurting jen and lilia in his grief.
do you guys laugh too when bille ellish pops in?? I love how agatha later says that billy is dramatic because he's a maximoff. honey, wanda was only ever coming up with cute sitcom scenarios. this is all your doing, you and your dramatic ass. this is your son. drama queen and drama queen in training.

THE BRAWN GP GARAGE GRAND PRIX! ── ˙ ̟ the echo !!
𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 :: jenson button had always been a great commentator, especially when it came to narrating the wild world of imaginary races, where the only challenger was none other than the daughter of his teammate.
𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞 :: part of the "it takes a paddock" miniseries, that explores moments of echo!reader's childhood in the paddock.
𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 :: 1.2k (just a sweet little story)
The Brawn garage buzzed with activity as the team prepared for another day of testing at the Circuit de Catalunya. Mechanics hurried back and forth, checking and double-checking every detail of the sleek white cars that lined the garage. The air was thick with the smell of rubber and gasoline, and the sound of engines revving filled the space, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement.
Amidst the chaos, a quieter corner of the garage served as a sanctuary from the frenzy. There, sitting on a stack of tires, was Rubens Barrichello's daughter, her hair falling in loose curls around her shoulders as she concentrated intently on her coloring book. Her small fingers gripped a crayon with determination, carefully filling in the lines of a picture with vibrant colors.
Suddenly, a familiar voice broke through her concentration, and she looked up to see Jenson Button, her father's teammate, approaching with a warm smile. Her face lit up with excitement at the sight of the man, and she jumped off the tires to greet him with a hug.
"Uncle Jen!" she exclaimed, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm. "Are you here to race today too?"
Jenson chuckled, his blue eyes twinkling with amusement as he ruffled her hair affectionately. "Not today, sweetheart," he replied. "Your dad's the one doing the racing. But I'm here to keep you company while he's busy out on track."
The girl's eyes sparkled with delight as she listened to Jenson's words. She admired him greatly, not just because of his talent, but because he always took the time to interact with her whenever they crossed paths in the garage.
"Can we do something fun?" she asked eagerly, bouncing on the balls of her feet with excitement.
Jenson nodded enthusiastically, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. "Of course! How about we have a little race of our own? I'll be the commentator, and you can be the driver."
The girl's face lit up with excitement as she eagerly agreed to the idea. Jenson wasted no time, quickly scurrying around the garage to gather up cones and spare parts to create a makeshift race track. With deft hands, he arranged the obstacles into a winding course that snaked its way around the various tools and equipment scattered about.
"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the inaugural Brawn Garage Grand Prix!" Jenson announced with theatrical flair, holding up a makeshift microphone fashioned out of an old wrench. "On pole position, we have the one and only… Y/N Barrichello! And alongside her, it's me, Jenson Button, your trusty commentator for today's race."
The girl giggled with delight as she took her position at the starting line, her tiny hands gripping the imaginary steering wheel with determination. Jenson, playing his part to perfection, took up his position as the announcer, adopting a dramatic tone befitting the occasion.
"Get ready, folks! The tension is palpable as our fearless competitors prepare to battle it out on the treacherous Brawn Garage circuit!" Jenson proclaimed, his voice echoing off the walls of the garage.
With a flourish, he counted down from three, his arm slicing through the air like a conductor leading an orchestra. As his hand dropped, signaling the start of the race, the girl stomped on the imaginary accelerator, her make-believe engine roaring to life as she shot off the line in a blur of excitement.
The garage was transformed into a miniature racetrack, the sound of imaginary engines filling the air as the girl and Jenson darted and weaved their way through the makeshift obstacles. Cones became chicane markers, and toolboxes served as hairpin bends, each turn and straightaway presenting a new challenge for the intrepid racers.
Jenson, ever the entertainer, provided colorful commentary as they raced, his voice rising and falling with the ebb and flow of the action. He cheered the girl on with infectious enthusiasm, his words spurring her on to greater feats of daring as she navigated the course with the skill and precision of a seasoned pro (if there ever was a pro of fake racing).
As they crossed the makeshift finish line, Jenson scooped up the girl in one swift motion, lifting her onto his shoulders. Her laughter filled the garage, bubbling over with unrestrained joy as she clung to him, her tiny hands gripping his shoulder.
"Congratulations, champ!" Jenson announced, his voice booming with theatrical flair. "You've just won the first-ever Brawn Garage Grand Prix!"
The mechanics, who had been watching the impromptu race with amused smiles, erupted into cheers and applause. They clapped their hands enthusiastically, their cheers mingling with the sound of engines revving in the distance.
"Way to go, kiddo!" one of the mechanics shouted, giving the girl a thumbs-up.
Some of the mechanics rushed forward to offer high-fives to the victorious little girl, their faces alight with excitement. Others pulled out their phones, eager to capture the moment for posterity. Flashbulbs popped as they snapped photos of Jenson and the young girl, their bond evident for all to see in the warmth of their smiles.
Jenson, his own grin infectious, basked in the attention, reveling in the joy of the moment. "Looks like we've got ourselves a world champion in the making!" he declared, beaming down at the girl perched on his shoulders.
The girl giggled, her cheeks flushed with happiness. "Thanks, Uncle Jen! That was so much fun!"
Rubens, returning to the garage after his stint on track, couldn't help but smile at the heartwarming scene unfolding before him. His daughter, flushed with excitement and clinging tightly to Jenson's shoulders, looked happier than he had seen her in weeks. And Jenson, with his infectious grin and easy charm, seemed to have cast a spell over the entire garage, filling it with an atmosphere of camaraderie and joy.
Walking over to join the celebration, Rubens wrapped an arm around his daughter's shoulders, pulling her into a warm embrace. "Looks like you had quite the race, huh?" he teased, ruffling her hair affectionately.
The girl nodded enthusiastically, her eyes shining with pride. "It was the best race ever, Dad! Uncle Jen said I was the fastest driver in the whole garage!"
Rubens chuckled, shooting a grateful smile in Jenson's direction. "Well, I have no doubt about that. You've got quite the talent behind the wheel, just like your old man."
Jenson grinned, giving Rubens a playful punch on the arm. "Hey now, don't go giving her all the credit. She may have won the race, but I was the one providing the commentary! And let me tell you, it was a masterpiece of sports broadcasting."
The three of them laughed, the sound echoing off the walls of the garage, mingling with the hum of activity as the team prepared for the next session. For a brief moment, all the stresses and pressures of life in the fast lane melted away.
With Jenson by her side, Rubens knew that his daughter was in good hands – and that was a comforting thought indeed.

Chapter 15:
After your little talk with Rio, you wandered around the room; keeping an eye on everyone as you went.
You could see that Alice was uncomfortable being around, trying not to touch anything while nostalgia was hidden behind her round red tinted glasses.
Your attention went mostly to Lilia, who had returned to the main room shaken, and you swore she could be on the verge of tears. Glancing behind her, you faintly noticed certain arts on the wall; depicting witches burning at the stake.
Lilia was the oldest amongst you all. You knew that much. You suspected she had bad memories from the time of the trials and felt sympathetic once you .theorised she must have lost friends that way.
Considering her prophetic abilities, you could not comprehend how outcast she must have felt back then.
As you all gathered in the main room, you realized two people were missing... Agatha and Rio.
Narrowing your eyes faintly, you were about to go find them when the speakes got activated. You heard clearly what was supposed to be the conversation between the two witches; coming from the outer part of the recording booth.
"I get the pleasure of watching you do what you do best." Rio voice was heard over the PA.
Agatha's followed next. "Which is?"
"Killl all the witches around you. One by one."
"Then what?"
"You get your power, and I get my bodies."
Agatha gasped loudly. "Hey! That's my coven you're talking about. I'm m not that kind of witch anymore."
Immediately, the three witches rushed towards the booth; clearly furious with what they had just heard.
You trailed back, hesitant to follow your rushing emotions and thoughts.
Something was not right, and you knew it.
Agatha had tried to frame Rio, perhaps to make the coven mistrust her? Or to make herself sound better and regain some of their confidence to her?
You were not sure.
What you were sure about was Agatha's gasp and last words. That spesific gasp and tone was fake, an overdramatic reaction; a mere acting moment to make others buy it.
You remained further back from the group but close enough, to ensure no one would be throwing hands anytime soon.
Their arguments were loud in your ears but then a different sound reached you. Like nails against a blackboard, like a pin draged against glass...
The background demonic and loud noise seemed to strike deep into your magical core and even in your mind, causing you inscrutiating pain.
Before you knew it, you were on your knees; hands pressed tightly against your ears in a futile attempt to block the noise. You made no sound but by the way you bit your bottom lip, it was evident you were in pain.
The rest of the coven had similar reactions, some like Alice and Jen reacting strongly; yet not to the level you did.
Rio was the one least bothered, and Teen tried his best not to react to it. While being busy to explain, he played a record backwards; causing all this.
While everyone was fighting against it, it was Agatha who dared to act.
She was the first to see you on your knees, trying hard to block the sound from driving you mad and he knew that face of yours... the face when you were in pain.
Her own ears hurt and she swore this sound would haunt her nightmares for the years to come but she had to act.
The others were too weak, and she would not be standing there while you were in pain.
She had no idea what was happening, but if it affected you that way, it was bad. She did not stay to think about it and merely grabbed the record player before smashing it to the ground.
To ensure the job was done, she stepped on it and the cursed record; ensuring the sound would stop, and it did.
Now, free of whatever was that, you all took a moment to gather yourself.
You slowly stood up, taking silent deep breaths before you felt a metallic taste in your mouth. Bringing your hand towards your face, your fingers touched something wet against your lips. Upon inspecting it, you realized it was blood... your blood.
To try and fight the pain, you had bit your lip so hard you had actually bled it.
You tried to hide your shock and quickly wiped the evidence with the back of your sleeve, all while avoiding Agatha's intended gaze; not wishing to decipher it at the moment.
Yet Agatha kept watching, eyes darker at the sight of your bleeding lip. She could not help but remember the times she had bitten your lip enough to draw blood, only to lick it and then kiss you with hunger; letting you also taste what your blood felt like.
She managed to focus on the present, not letting her thoughts and fantasies get the best of her.
There were still things she had to focus on.
"We've been cursed." Lilia suddenly said as she recognised what had taken place.
At least that made some sense to you, though you had never truly been cursed; not that way. Physical curses had been your biggest enemy but you could fight, purify them even when the moon was full.
Now verbal... it seemed to be a loophole into everything. You were not how to feel about that.
You didn't have the time to do so, either, for a metronome on the piano nearby started to tick.
"I think this means the trial started." Teen pointed out.
Jen took notice that Rio was not exactly shocked or even scared, like the rest. "Why are you smiling?"
Agatha rolled her eyes. "She's a tourist." Was her argument.
Once again, Jen did not agree. "She's a psycho."
"And nothing's happening." Teen pointed out. "Maybe this curse isn't so bad."
You immediately locked your sharp gaze at him, making him feel uncomfortable. One finger was pointed in his direction.
"Do not, under any circumstance, say those words again." Your voice was serious, and it made every single hair on his body stand on end. "Last thing we need is the Road proving us wrong"
As if your words had once again predicted the future, something unexpected happened.
Lilia started to fan herself with her hands, feeling hotter when suddenly she started to scream. You swore you could see some sort of faint smoke coming from beneath her clothing, and the smell of burning flesh quickly reached your nose.
"It burns!" She shouted, grabbing an invisible wound by her shoulder.
Everyone stood close in panic, not sure how to help when Jen remembered something.
"Alice, protect her." She instructed her fellow witches.
Just like her assigned role, Alice did what she had to do. Using Rio's knife, she carved a circle around a screaming Lilia while changing a protection spell in Latin.
By the time the circle was complete, Lilia was laying on the floor but she was no longer burning by some invisible power.
Jen looked terrified. "I need you to draw one of those circles around me, right now"
You paid her no mind as you helped Lilia stand. You did not ask her anything but you could see in her eyes that she was thankful for your help .
"So, breaking a curse," Teen started as he tried to think what he knew. "Smudge sticks? A salt bath... What if we locate and reason with the witch who cast the curse?"
"Once vengeance is loosed, you can't reel it back in." You so wisely commneted as you stopped holding and supporting Lliliam
"So what do we do?"
Once again, the older witch had an answer. "The only way to end a curse is to face it."
New screams drew your attention and everyone turned to Jen, who was suffering the same effects of the curse.
Alice rushed to repeat the protective circle, doing her best to be fast and save Jen from suffering this burning sensation for long.
Surprisingly, when she was done; something became noticable. Jen's skin seemed to bear a mark, a burnt brand on her skin.
Lilia confirmed she had the same, making you all exchange looks of worry with one another.
This was new, way more physical than the other trial, and you were not sure you liked it that much.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………
The next few weeks flew by in a blur of routine and mild frustration. I’d gotten used to maneuvering on crutches though not without my fair share of near-disasters and before long, I was downgraded to a boot. A clunky, annoying boot, but it was better than nothing. And now, I was almost out of it, counting down the days until I could finally move like a normal person again.
Lilia had been... Lilia. Ever present, always hovering just enough to make sure I wasn’t doing anything too reckless, but never crossing the line into anything that could be considered more. There were lingering touches, soft smiles, and the occasional meaningful glance, but nothing had really progressed.
And, honestly? That was fine.
Mostly.
Between the shop being surprisingly busy and my friends constantly roping me into their latest schemes, fundraisers, work drama, and questionable life choices. I barely had time to dwell on it. I liked keeping busy, helping where I could, and throwing myself into distraction after distraction. It was easier than thinking about how much I wanted Lilia but didn’t know how to move things forward.
Some days, it felt like we were stuck in this comfortable, frustrating limbo. We'd laugh, we’d bicker, we'd work side by side in the shop, but there was always this invisible line neither of us was willing to cross.
Still, things were good.
Lilia was still a mystery I was determined to solve, even if she sometimes acted like an impenetrable fortress. But there were moments, tiny cracks in the walls she put up. The way she’d refill my tea without asking, or how she’d linger at the end of my shift, pretending to read while really just making sure I got home safely. The way she’d watch me when she thought I wasn’t looking, like she was thinking about something.
And those moments? They were enough to keep me going. For now.
One afternoon, as I hobbled around the shop stocking shelves, I sighed dramatically. "Lilia, please, I cannot wait to be out of this boot. I feel like Frankenstein’s monster."
Lilia smirked from behind the counter, flipping through an old grimoire. "You only have to wait till this afternoon."
I shot her a glare. "Rude."
She chuckled, but there was that usual softness behind it, the kind that made my heart skip a little. "You'll be back to your reckless self soon enough. I'm sure I'll regret it."
I grinned. "Oh, you will. First thing I'm doing is dancing barefoot on the counter just to spite you."
Lilia rolled her eyes but didn't argue. Instead, she just said, "I'll keep the first aid kit ready."
I snorted, limping toward the register. "You should always have that thing on standby with me around."
"Trust me," she said dryly. "I do."
The bell above the shop door jingled, and before I could process it, Jen and Agatha waltzed in like they owned the place.
"Y/n!" Jen beamed. "Still hobbling around, I see."
Agatha leaned on the counter, eyeing Lilia with that devilish glint in her eye. "And, you're still under Lilia's watchful eye, huh?"
Lilia arched a brow. "You say that like it's a bad thing."
Jen smirked at me. "Oh, it's not a bad thing at all."
I groaned. "Guys, please."
Agatha ignored me, grinning. "Anyway, y/n, you up for helping me with something later?"
I sighed, already knowing I was about to get roped into something ridiculous. "What is it this time?"
Jen wiggled her brows. "Oh, you know, just a little... matchmaking event."
I blinked. "No."
Lilia, to my absolute horror, looked very interested. "Matchmaking?"
Agatha smirked. "Yeah. You in?"
Lilia, without missing a beat, looked directly at me and said, "I think y/n should go."
My jaw dropped. "What?!"
Lilia’s lips curled into that maddening smirk. "It could be... fun."
I groaned, slamming my head onto the counter. "I hate all of you."
Lilia just sipped her tea, looking far too pleased with herself. "You'll survive, baby."
“What exactly is a matchmaking event?”
Jen leaned against the counter, grinning like the devil she clearly was. "Oh, y/n," she purred, eyes sparkling with mischief. "A matchmaking event is exactly what it sounds like."
I narrowed my eyes at her. "And why, exactly, do you think I need to attend one?"
Agatha smirked, completely ignoring my very valid concern. "It's a charity event, actually. Think of it like speed dating, but fancier, cocktails, music, a little light mingling." She waved a hand dramatically. "People will bid on dates, there'll be matchmaking games, the whole romantic shebang."
I groaned. "You have to be kidding me."
Billy, who had apparently appeared out of thin air (or just snuck in without me noticing), clapped his hands together. "Oh no, she's not kidding, and I am so excited for this."
Lilia, who had been sipping her tea silently this whole time, finally spoke up, eyes fixed on me in that infuriatingly calm way she had. "I think it’s an excellent idea."
I gaped at her. "Et tu, Lilia?!"
She shrugged, setting her cup down with a smirk. "You did say you were bored."
Agatha nodded sagely. "Exactly! And what better way to pass the time than by meeting some... interesting people?"
I groaned, dragging a hand down my face. "Oh my God, no. I am not getting auctioned off to the highest bidder like a damn prize goat."
Jen laughed. "Oh, come on. It’s for charity! Think of it as... networking."
Billy wiggled his brows. "With benefits."
Lilia quirked an eyebrow, but there was something sharp in her eyes now, something that made my stomach flip. "You never know, y/n," she said smoothly, "maybe you'll find someone... intriguing."
I stared at her, heat rising to my cheeks. Was she actually encouraging this?
I pointed an accusing finger at the coven. "You’re all just doing this to watch me suffer, aren’t you?"
Agatha grinned. "Absolutely."
Billy winked. "One hundred percent."
Jen shrugged. "You should be used to it by now."
I sighed, sinking onto the nearest chair. "This is actually my worst nightmare."
Lilia, standing far too composed and far too smug, leaned against the counter. "You'll do fine, baby."
And the way she said it, soft, teasing, but with just enough of an edge, made me wonder if she was enjoying this a little too much.
I stared at Lilia for a long moment, watching the way she casually sipped her tea, completely unbothered by the absolute chaos the coven was throwing at me. Mixed signals? Oh, she was full of them. She’d spent weeks hovering, making sure I didn’t overdo it, looking after me with a quiet protectiveness, and now she was totally fine with me flirting with other people?
Okay, Lilia.
Fine. If she wanted to play it cool, I could play it colder.
With a wicked smirk, I crossed my arms and leaned back into my chair. "Alright," I said, shrugging. "I'll do it."
The coven exploded.
"YES!" Billy practically fist-pumped.
Jen beamed. "Oh, this is going to be so good."
Agatha cackled. "I knew you'd come around."
But I didn’t take my eyes off Lilia, watching for any flicker of emotion behind that carefully composed exterior of hers. She raised a brow, looking mildly impressed but ultimately unfazed. “Good for you,” she said, nodding. “You’ll enjoy yourself.”
I wanted to scream.
Instead, I smiled sweetly. “Yeah, maybe I’ll meet someone intriguing, like you said.”
Lilia’s lips twitched, but she didn’t rise to the bait. “Perhaps.”
Ugh.
I was going to do this. Not because I wanted to, but because if Lilia was going to keep up this whole mysterious and unattainable older woman thing, then I was going to make her watch me flirt with someone else.
By the time I got back from the hospital that evening, boot-free and feeling like I had reclaimed my dignity, I was on a mission.
I went all out.
I pulled out one of my best dresses, the kind that hugged in all the right places, paired it with strappy low heels— I wasn’t about to push my luck after just recovering from a broken leg — and topped it all off with red lipstick. My hair was styled to perfection.
I looked in the mirror and grinned. Damn, I missed dressing up.
Before I left, I snapped a quick selfie and sent it to the group chat.
Me: Ready to break hearts tonight.
Billy responded instantly.
Billy: BABE. I AM DEAD.
Jen: GIRL, THEY WON'T SURVIVE YOU.
Agatha: Show Lilia. Right now.
I rolled my eyes, typing back.
Me: No way. Let her suffer.
I grabbed my clutch, took one last glance in the mirror, and smirked.
Lilia Calderu had no idea what she was in for.
I arrived at the venue, the heels clicking confidently against the pavement as I made my way inside. The place was fancier than I expected, soft lighting, elegant decor, and the kind of crowd that screamed money meets desperation.
I spotted Agatha immediately, standing near the bar with a drink in hand, watching me approach with an impressed smirk. Her eyes swept over me from head to toe, and she let out a low whistle. “Damn, y/n. If I weren’t rooting for Lilia, I’d bid on you myself.”
I rolled my eyes, planting myself in front of her. “Alright, what do I need to do?” I asked, folding my arms.
Agatha grinned wickedly. “Eager, are we?”
I sighed, eyeing the bustling room. “Let’s just say I’ve been encouraged.”
She chuckled, handing me a glass of champagne like she hadn’t practically dragged me here. “Alright, here’s how it works. There are three... let’s call them options.”
I narrowed my eyes. “Go on.”
Agatha held up a perfectly manicured finger. “Option one—the bidding auction. People bid for a date with you.”
I groaned. “Hard pass.”
Ignoring me, she lifted a second finger. “Option two—the matchmaking questionnaire. You fill it out, they set you up with someone they think is compatible.”
I stared at her. “Do I look like someone who’s here for a deep connection?”
Agatha smirked. “No, you look like someone here to make a certain divination witch jealous as hell.”
I didn’t deny it. “And option three?”
Agatha smirked, holding up the final finger. “And then there’s option three... mingling, flirting, working the room.” She gestured grandly at the crowd. “And, honestly, that’s where you shine.”
I sighed, taking a slow sip of champagne. “And which one exactly do you want me to do?”
Agatha’s grin stretched impossibly wider. “Oh, baby, I didn’t bring you here to find your soulmate.” She winked. “I brought you here to make Lilia Calderu jealous as hell. So, option three it is.”
I arched a brow. “And if she doesn’t show up?”
Agatha shrugged. “Then at least you’ll have some fun and free champagne.”
I sighed, finishing my drink. “Fine. Let’s do this.”
Agatha grinned, looping her arm through mine. “That’s the spirit. Now, go mingle. And remember, eye contact, light touches, and laugh at everything.”
I groaned but let her pull me toward the crowd. This was going to be... interesting.
I took a deep breath, rolling my shoulders back and putting on my most dazzling smile. If I was going to do this, I was going to do it right.
Armed with another glass of champagne and Agatha’s ridiculous advice bouncing around in my head, I stepped into the crowd, letting myself glide from conversation to conversation. I laughed, I touched arms lightly, I made just enough eye contact to keep people interested without giving too much away.
And through it all, one thought lingered in the back of my mind.
Please show up, Lilia.
I scanned the room subtly, pretending to be fully invested in whatever some guy in a ridiculous suit was rambling about, but my heart wasn’t in it. I could feel the absence of her. Could feel the weight of her not being here.
The evening dragged on, and despite the flattering attention I was getting, more than I knew what to do with, there was an ache in my chest that wouldn’t quite go away.
I found myself standing near a group of women, effortlessly charming my way through another conversation, when I caught myself staring toward the entrance for the millionth time.
Nothing.
I sighed internally, feeling my excitement wane just a little.
But just as I turned back to my conversation, I caught a shift in the air. A presence.
And then I saw her.
Lilia Calderu, standing in the doorway like she owned the place, dressed in a simple but devastatingly effective black dress, nothing overly elegant, just effortlessly put together, the fabric skimming her figure in a way that made my mouth go dry. Her dark curls were loosely pinned up, a few strands escaping to frame her face, and those brown eyes of hers scanned the room with sharp intent, missing nothing.
My heart stopped.
She looked... incredible.
Her gaze locked onto me almost instantly, and I saw the way her eyes flickered over my dress, my posture, the easy way I was leaning against the table with a glass of champagne in hand and a smile that may have been a little too smug.
For a second, I thought she might turn around and leave, but instead, she walked in with the kind of calm, deliberate grace that made my stomach twist into knots.
Agatha, appearing by my side out of nowhere, whispered, “And there she is.”
I swallowed, my throat suddenly dry. “I thought she wasn’t coming.”
Agatha smirked. “She didn’t think she was coming. But then she realised she couldn’t let you have all the fun without her.”
I watched as Lilia made her way through the crowd, her expression unreadable, but her eyes, her eyes, never left me.
I forced myself to smirk, turning back to the group I was talking to, making a show of tossing my hair over my shoulder and laughing lightly at something someone said. But my heart was pounding.
Lilia Calderu was here. And she was watching me.
Game on.
I took a slow sip of my champagne, letting the bubbles fizz on my tongue as I kept my posture relaxed, my smile effortlessly charming. I could feel her gaze burning into me from across the room, sharp and assessing, but I didn’t look her way, not yet.
If she wanted to watch, I’d give her a damn show.
“So, y/n,” the woman beside me purred, leaning in just a little too close. “You never told me what you do for a living.”
I smiled, tilting my head coyly. “Oh, you know... a little bit of everything,” I said smoothly, trailing a finger along the rim of my glass. “Keeps life interesting.”
I swore I could hear Lilia’s scoff from across the room, and it took everything in me not to grin.
Agatha, who was lingering nearby, nudged me under the table with her foot. “Subtle,” she whispered, her tone practically dripping with glee. “She’s watching you like a hawk.”
I shrugged, pretending to be unaffected. “Let her.”
I felt her familiar presence before I even saw her. Lilia’s energy was intense, heavy and magnetic, drawing people in without her even trying. And then, just as I was laughing at something unremarkable, I saw her appear at the edge of my vision, standing beside the group with her arms crossed, a neutral expression on her face.
But her eyes? Her eyes told an entirely different story.
They flicked from the woman leaning too close to me, to my lips, and then, finally, locked onto mine.
I arched an eyebrow, feigning innocence. “Lilia,” I greeted, taking another slow sip. “Didn’t expect to see you here.”
She tilted her head slightly, her lips curving into that maddeningly subtle smirk. “Neither did I.”
Agatha, not missing a beat, grinned and chimed in. “Lilia! Finally decided to join the fun?”
Lilia’s gaze didn’t leave mine as she responded, “I suppose someone had to keep an eye on y/n.”
“Oh, I think I’m doing just fine on my own,” I shot back, playful but pointed.
Lilia’s lips twitched. “So I see.” Her gaze dragged over me, slowly, taking in every inch of my dress, my posture, the way I was standing just close enough to the woman next to me to imply interest.
I held her gaze, my heart racing. “You know, you could’ve just stayed home,” I teased, my voice dropping just a bit. “No need to check up on me.”
Lilia stepped closer, leaning in just enough that I could catch the faint scent of her perfume. “Maybe I just wanted to watch?”
I swallowed, my bravado slipping just slightly.
Agatha, watching the exchange like it was the best thing to ever happen to her, nudged me again and whispered, just for me to hear, “You’re losing, babe.”
I straightened up, regaining my composure, and smirked at Lilia. “Well, since you’re here... maybe I should introduce you to some people.” I gestured to the woman beside me, who looked suddenly very interested in this new development. “This is—”
But before I could finish, Lilia reached out, tucking a stray strand of hair behind my ear, her fingers lingering a second too long. The touch sent a shiver down my spine.
“Enjoy yourself, baby,” she murmured, her voice low and full of something I couldn’t quite place. “Don’t let me stop you.”
And with that, she stepped back, leaving me absolutely reeling.
Agatha burst into laughter. “Oh my God, she is so playing you.”
I clenched my jaw, staring at Lilia’s retreating figure as she casually wandered toward the bar, looking as cool and composed as ever.
Oh, hell no.
I was not about to let Lilia Calderu waltz in here, throw me off my game with a well-timed smirk and a touch that lingered just enough to make my brain short-circuit. If she thought she could walk away with the upper hand, she had another thing coming.
I plastered on my best grin and turned back to the woman next to me, who was still watching the whole exchange with keen interest. “Sorry about that,” I said smoothly, letting my fingers graze lightly over the rim of my glass. “Old friend.”
Lilia, who had just reached the bar, tilted her head slightly at my words, clearly listening in.
The woman smiled, intrigued. “Old friends who stare at you like they’d rather eat you alive?”
I laughed, but it wasn’t entirely fake. “She’s... complicated.”
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Lilia's shoulders tense slightly. Gotcha.
Agatha, still lingering with a devilish glint in her eye, whispered in my ear, “Atta girl. Make her work for it.”
With renewed confidence, I turned my full attention to my current company, leaning in just enough to make it seem like I was entirely absorbed in our conversation. I laughed at all the right moments, let my hand casually brush against hers, and even threw in a little coy lip bite for good measure.
And Lilia saw every second of it.
I could practically feel her eyes on me, dark and heavy, her carefully composed façade slipping by degrees.
When I dared a glance her way, I caught her watching with that unreadable expression, cool, detached, but with a flicker of something darker beneath. Jealousy? Annoyance? I wasn’t sure, but I liked it.
Still, she didn’t approach.
Fine. If she wanted to play it that way, I’d push a little harder.
I tilted my head back, laughing at something the woman said, making sure my posture screamed confidence, my neck arched just enough to be noticeable. And then, as casually as I could manage, I said loudly enough for Lilia to hear, “You know, I was a little nervous about coming tonight, but... I think I’m really enjoying myself.”
From across the room, I saw Lilia’s grip tighten around her glass.
Agatha, ever the enabler, had appeared at the bar, bit back a grin and leaned against the bar near Lilia. “So, Lilia,” she said innocently, “what brings you here tonight? Surely not jealousy?”
Lilia’s eyes flickered with something sharp, but she simply took a sip of her drink, her voice smooth as silk. “Just making sure y/n doesn’t get herself into too much trouble.”
“Oh, I think she’s handling herself just fine,” Agatha teased, shooting me a wink.
I smirked, running a hand down my hip and throwing Lilia a pointed glance before turning back to my conversation.
But before I could say another word, Lilia appeared at my side, moving silently and suddenly. Her presence was commanding, and I felt it in every nerve of my body.
“Y/n,” she said smoothly, her voice velvety and low. “A word?”
The woman next to me raised an eyebrow. “Oh,” she said, clearly amused. “I think I’ll leave you to it.”
I swallowed, my heart pounding, but I kept my smirk firmly in place. “Of course, Lilia.”
She led me away from the crowd, her hand resting lightly on my lower back, just enough to own the situation, just enough to remind me exactly who I was dealing with.
Once we were in a quieter corner, she turned to face me, crossing her arms and raising a brow. “Having fun?”
I shrugged, playing it cool. “I was.”
Lilia’s lips twitched, but her gaze sharpened, laced with something I couldn’t quite place. “You’re walking a fine line, baby.”
I tilted my head, stepping closer, pushing just enough. “Maybe I like the edge.”
Her eyes darkened, and for the first time all night, I wondered if I’d pushed too far. But instead of pulling away, she leaned in, her breath warm against my ear, sending shivers straight down my spine.
“Careful,” she murmured, voice low and dangerously smooth. “You might find yourself wanting something you can’t have.”
I swallowed hard, fighting to keep my cool. “Maybe I’m tired of waiting.”
Lilia’s expression remained unreadable, her head tilting just slightly. “Getting ahead of yourself, baby.”
I exhaled sharply, biting back the urge to roll my eyes. “And you love dragging this out, don’t you?”
She made a soft, thoughtful sound, her gaze sweeping over me like she was deciding just how much she wanted to let me have. “Mmm. Maybe. Or maybe you’re seeing something that isn’t there.”
Heat curled in my stomach, frustration and want tangled together, her eyes flicked down to my lips for half a second, just long enough for me to notice, but before I could say anything, she let out a slow, almost teasing sigh and stepped back, putting space between us. “Go on, baby. Enjoy your night.”
And with that, she turned and walked away, leaving me reeling.
Agatha appeared at my side almost immediately. “So... that looked intense.”
I took a deep breath, my heart racing. “I think I might be losing.”
And honestly? I didn’t want to play this game anymore.
Agatha grinned. “No, babe. You’re both losing.”
I groaned. “Great.”
I huffed, crossing my arms tightly over my chest as I watched Lilia disappear back into the crowd with that same frustrating grace she always carried. I turned to Agatha, my lips pursed in irritation. “You know what? I don’t want to do this matchmaking thing.”
Agatha, ever perceptive, didn’t even argue. She just sipped her drink and gave me a knowing nod. “Of course, no problem.”
I blinked. “Wait, seriously?”
She smirked, leaning against the bar. “I know when you’ve had enough, y/n. And right now, you look like you're two seconds away from murdering someone.”
I sighed, running a hand through my hair, suddenly feeling the weight of the evening pressing down on me. “Yeah, I think I just... I need to go home.”
Agatha nodded, patting my arm. “Good call. Go home, take a bubble bath, and—”
“Eat my feelings?”
Agatha grinned. “Exactly.”
I gave her a small smile, grateful she wasn’t pushing. “Thanks, Aggie.”
She winked. “Don’t worry, babe. We’ll gossip later.”
I nodded, weaving my way through the crowd, ignoring the curious glances and the lingering presence of Lilia somewhere in the room.
By the time I stepped outside, the cool night air hit my skin, and I let out a long breath. The tension that had been building inside me all evening eased slightly, but the frustration was still simmering beneath the surface.
Because despite everything, the flirting, the teasing, the stupid mixed signals, Lilia still managed to keep me at arm's length. And I was tired of playing the waiting game.
As I made my way home, heels clicking against the pavement, I couldn't help but feel like I had just walked away from a fight I wasn't even sure I wanted to win anymore.
I made it home, kicking off my heels the second I stepped through the door. The silence of my apartment felt jarring after the noise and chaos of the event, but it was exactly what I needed. No prying eyes, no teasing coven, and most importantly, no Lilia.
I sighed, rubbing my temples as I walked into the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water and downing it in one go. The adrenaline from earlier was fading, leaving me feeling tired, annoyed, and... a little disappointed.
The evening had started off fun, with the whole “make Lilia jealous” plan in full swing. But somewhere along the way, it had stopped being about teasing her and started feeling like something else. Something heavier.
I wanted her to chase me. I wanted her to want me.
But instead, she just kept pulling back, staying in that frustrating space of almost.
I flopped onto the couch, staring up at the ceiling, letting my thoughts spiral.
Maybe she really doesn’t feel the same way.
Maybe the age gap is too much for her.
Maybe I’m just a fun distraction to her.
I groaned, tossing a pillow over my face. “Ugh, stupid.”
Just as I was debating whether to text Agatha and unload my feelings, my phone buzzed against my thigh.
I grabbed it, half expecting it to be one of my friends checking in, but my breath caught when I saw the name on the screen.
Lilia.
I stared at it for a beat, my thumb hovering over the screen.
Was she going to scold me for leaving early? Check on me? Or just... toy with me some more?
Taking a deep breath, I swiped to answer. “Hello?”
There was a pause, then Lilia’s voice, soft and measured. “You left.”
I blinked, sitting up straighter. “Yeah, I did. I wasn’t feeling it anymore.”
Another pause. “I see.”
I rolled my eyes. “Did you call just to state the obvious, Lilia?”
She hummed, and I could practically hear the smirk in her voice. “Maybe.”
I rubbed my forehead. “Lilia.”
She sighed, and for a moment, I thought she might actually say something real. But then—
“I wanted to make sure you got home safely.”
My heart did that stupid little flutter thing, but I pushed it down, forcing a casual tone. “I’m fine. I always am.”
There was silence on the other end, and for a second, I thought maybe she’d hung up. But then—
“I shouldn’t have encouraged you to go,” she admitted quietly.
I swallowed, surprised by the sudden shift in her tone. “Why did you?”
She didn’t answer right away, and when she did, it was softer than I expected. “Because I wanted to see what you’d do.”
I clenched my jaw, feeling frustration bubble up again. “And? Did you enjoy the show?”
Lilia exhaled, something close to a chuckle, but there was an edge to it. “More than I should have.”
My grip tightened on the phone. “You’re infuriating, you know that?”
Another pause. “So I’ve been told.”
I sighed, running a hand through my hair. “Go to bed, Lilia.”
“You too, baby,” she murmured, and before I could come up with a snarky response, the call ended.
My heart pounding, frustration and something else, something deeper, swirling in my chest.
I stared at my phone for all of ten seconds before I muttered, "No, fuck this." Without thinking any further, I tapped Lilia’s number and called her back.
She answered almost immediately, her voice a little softer, maybe a little surprised. “y/n?”
“You’re confusing,” I blurted out, pacing back and forth in my living room, frustration bubbling over. “You are so confusing, Lilia.”
Silence.
I didn’t care, I was on a roll now. “You flirt with me, you pull away, you get all soft and caring, and then you act like none of it happened. And I keep trying to play it cool, keep waiting for you to make up your damn mind, but you never do.”
She didn’t say a word, and I wasn’t stopping.
“And fuck you and this whole age gap excuse, because that’s what it is now, Lilia. It’s an excuse. You keep telling yourself that’s the problem, but it’s not. You flirt with me, you want me, and then you shut me out like it never happened. I’m tired, Lilia. I’m so tired.”
I paused, breathing hard, and then it hit me. My eyes widened as I blurted, “And you never even gave me my underwear back!”
I was hysterical.
I could hear Lilia inhale sharply on the other end, and for a second, I thought she might say something, anything. But all I got was silence.
And that silence was worse than if she’d yelled at me.
I swallowed hard, my anger deflating into something... heavier. More raw. My voice softened, and I rubbed a hand over my face. “I’m sorry,” I muttered, feeling the weight of it settle in my chest. “I shouldn’t be yelling at you.”
Still, she said nothing, and it was starting to hurt more than I thought it could.
I took a shaky breath. “I’m done, Lilia. I can’t take any more.” My throat tightened, and I blinked back the sting in my eyes. “It hurts too much.”
For a long moment, there was only the sound of my breathing and the faint static of the line. Then, finally, Lilia’s voice came through, so quiet I almost didn’t hear it.
“Y/n...”
I squeezed my eyes shut. “Don’t.”
Another pause. Then she sighed, long and slow, like she was carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. “I never meant to hurt you.”
I let out a bitter laugh. “Yeah, well... you did.”
Silence again, and I could almost imagine her, standing in her shop, looking down at the floor with that troubled frown she always wore when she was thinking too hard.
After another beat, she said, “I—” but she cut herself off, like she couldn’t finish the sentence.
I shook my head, wiping at my eyes. “Lilia, I can’t do this anymore. Not unless you actually want me. Not unless you’re willing to admit it.”
There was a pause. Then, finally, so quietly it nearly shattered me, she said, “I do.”
I froze, my heart slamming in my chest. “What?”
“I do,” Lilia repeated, her voice barely above a whisper. “I just... I didn’t know how to.”
I swallowed hard, my chest tightening. “Then why are you pushing me away?”
There was a long silence before she finally admitted, “Because I’m scared.”
I felt something shift inside me, my anger melting into something softer. “Scared of what?”
Lilia sighed again, and this time, she sounded... tired. Vulnerable. “Of how much I want you.”
My lips parted, my throat suddenly dry. “Then stop running,” I said softly. “Please, Lilia. Just... stop.”
She was quiet for another long moment, and then— “Come over.”
My breath hitched. “What?”
“Come over,” she said again, a little stronger this time. “Now.”
I hesitated, my heart pounding. “Lilia, are you sure—”
“Yes,” she interrupted. “Please.”
And just like that, I didn’t even hesitate. I grabbed my coat, shoved my feet into my shoes, and bolted out the door, my heart pounding so hard I could feel it in my throat. The night air was cool against my skin, but I barely registered it, I was too focused on getting to Lilia.
The drive to her shop felt endless, every red light an eternity, every turn slower than I wanted. My fingers tapped anxiously against the wheel, my thoughts racing.
She admitted it.
She finally admitted it.
But what did that mean? What was waiting for me when I got there?
By the time I pulled up outside her shop, I was a mess of nerves, my stomach churning with anticipation and something I couldn’t quite name. I parked and sat there for a moment, gripping the steering wheel, trying to collect myself.
Come over, she’d said. Not “we need to talk,” not “I need to explain.” Just... come over.
I swallowed, took a deep breath, and stepped out of the car. The street was quiet this time of night, the shop windows dark except for the faint glow of a single light inside.
I knocked, and almost immediately, the door creaked open.
Lilia stood there, looking... different. Her usual confidence wasn’t as sharp around the edges tonight. Her hair was loose, curling naturally around her face, and she had changed into casual wear, soft sweater and leggings, barefoot.
Her dark eyes searched mine, and for a moment, neither of us said anything.
I exhaled shakily. “Hi.”
“Hi,” she replied softly, stepping aside to let me in.
The familiar scent of her shop, incense, old books, and something distinctly her washed over me as I walked inside. She closed the door behind me, and the quiet settled around us like a heavy weight.
I turned to face her, my heart still racing. “I meant what I said, Lilia. I can’t do this anymore if you don’t—”
“I know,” she interrupted, her voice thick with something I couldn’t quite place. “I know, baby.”
The sound of her calling me that made my knees weak.
I swallowed. “Then why—”
Lilia took a slow step forward, her eyes locked onto mine. “Because I’ve spent a long time being careful, y/n. Too careful.”
I didn’t move, didn’t speak. I just let her talk.
“I told myself I couldn’t do this,” she continued, her voice quiet but sure. “That you deserved someone... younger. Someone with fewer complications. Someone who wouldn’t keep you waiting.”
I blinked, my throat tightening. “Lilia...”
She stepped closer, and this time, she reached out, brushing her fingers lightly over my wrist. “But you’re right. The age gap, the excuses... they’re just that. Excuses.”
I felt something break inside me, my breath hitching. “Then stop making them.”
Lilia looked at me, really looked at me, and I could see the struggle in her eyes, the hesitation, the longing, the fear. But then, with a slow, deliberate movement, she cupped my face in her hands, her thumb grazing lightly over my cheek.
“I’m done,” she whispered. “No more excuses.”
I barely had time to react before she kissed me.
Soft at first, hesitant, but then I melted into it, my hands gripping her waist as I kissed her back with everything I’d been holding in for weeks, months.
Lilia pressed closer, her body warm against mine, and I felt her exhale shakily into my mouth, like she was finally letting go of all the barriers she’d built between us. Like she wanted this just as badly as I did.
I pulled back just enough to catch my breath, my forehead resting against hers. “Took you long enough,” I whispered, my lips curling into a smile.
Lilia chuckled, her fingers still ghosting over my jaw, thumb tracing my lower lip. “I know, baby. I know.”
And for the first time in weeks, I felt like I could finally breathe.
But Lilia barely gives me a second to recover before she’s grabbing my hand and pulling me through the shop, her grip firm, her steps hurried, almost reckless. I can barely keep up, my heart racing, my body already aching for her before we even make it to her bedroom.
And then I’m there, being pushed back onto the bed, the mattress bouncing beneath me as I look up at her, chest rising and falling rapidly.
She’s standing over me, eyes dark and burning with something dangerous, something I’ve been craving for so long.
I moan, unabashedly, because fuck, she’s so hot. The way she looks at me like she’s about to devour me whole, like she’s going to ruin me, like I’m something she’s been starving for.
And then she starts stripping, slowly, painfully slow, slowly, deliberately, eyes locked onto mine the entire time. Teasing me with every inch of skin she reveals. She peels her sweater over her head, her curls tumbling loose, and I watch, breathless, as she undoes the clasp of her bra with deliberate precision, letting it fall to the floor, her smirk growing the longer I stare. Her hands move lower, hooking into the waistband of her leggings, sliding them down her hips with an agonising pace. She steps out of them with ease. My pulse pounds in my ears as she takes her time, dragging it out, knowing exactly what she’s doing to me, letting the last of her clothes slip from her body until she’s completely bare, standing before me in nothing but those dark eyes and the wicked smirk playing on her lips, and I’m left staring, aching.
I can’t take it.
I stand up, lurch forward, hands reaching for her, closing the space between us, my hands immediately on her body, kissing every inch of skin I can reach her collarbone, her shoulders, the curve of her neck. My hands roam over her bare back, pressing her closer, needing to feel her. My teeth scrape over the pulse hammering at her throat, and I hear her breath hitch.
Lilia moans, her fingers tangling in my hair, tugging me even closer, and I can feel the heat radiating off her. I trail kisses down, across her chest, down her stomach, dragging my nails lightly, down her ribs just to make her gasp, desperate to taste her, to make up for all the time we’ve wasted.
I want her. I want to wreck her, hear her fall apart beneath me.
But Lilia has other plans.
With a low growl, she shoves me back onto the bed, straddling me before I can even react. Her body pins mine against the mattress, a delicious weight that has me gasping. She tugs my dress up, her hands rough and impatient as she drags it over my head and tosses it aside. A shiver runs through me as her fingers hook into the waistband of my panties, and without thinking, my hips lift to help her slip them off.
And then she does the same to me. Lilia’s lips are everywhere, hot, demanding, claiming me in a way that’s anything but soft. It’s hard, it’s raw, it’s pent up tension that’s been building for weeks, and it’s so damn good, and I can feel it in every press of her teeth, every bite of her nails against my thighs.
She kisses me like she’s making up for lost time, her hands gripping my hips tightly, grinding down against me, slow and deliberate, teasing me with the friction, with enough force to leave bruises in the morning. My nails rake down her back, desperate, needy, and she loves it, moaning into my mouth as she deepens the kiss.
We don’t stop.
There’s no hesitation, no second guessing, just heat and need and the overwhelming feeling of finally having what we both wanted.
I gasp as Lilia's hands roam lower, her touch possessive, her mouth following her hands, unrelenting, claiming every inch of me. She grips my thighs, spreading me open, pressing teasing kisses along my inner thigh, slow, deliberate, making me squirm.
She pauses just above where I need her, her breath warm against me, teasing, torturous. And when she finally looks up at me, her lips just barely brushing my skin, her eyes are dark, lips slick, pupils blown wide with hunger. She smirks.
“Took me long enough, huh?” she murmurs against my skin.
I can’t even answer, just nod breathlessly.
Lilia’s mouth is on me before I can even process it, her hands pressing my thighs apart with a hunger that makes my head spin. She doesn’t tease. She doesn’t drag it out. She takes.
She devours me like she’s starving, like she’s been holding back for too long and refuses to do it a second longer. Her tongue moves with precision, slow at first, savoring, before she licks deeper, pressing her mouth against me with a hunger that has my head spinning. She flicks her tongue, dragging it over me just right, and I sob, my body jerking beneath her.
Her fingers slide through slick heat, teasing, testing, until—
I gasp, my back arching off the bed as she pushes in, stretching me, filling me in a way that has me gasping for air.
She’s ruthless, curling her fingers just right, stroking deep, pushing, pulling, setting a pace that leaves no room for mercy.
“Do you have any idea what you’ve been doing to me, baby?” she moans against me, the vibrations sending a shiver up my spine. Her fingers don’t slow, thrusting into me hard, fast, each stroke deliberate and punishing. “The things I’ve thought about... every time you walked into the shop in those little skirts, every time you teased me?”
I whimper, my hands clutching the sheets, head thrown back in pure bliss.
She bites the inside of my thigh, and I cry out. “Those panties you left behind,” she breathes, her voice thick with lust, “I couldn’t stop thinking about them. About you. About what it’d feel like to have you.”
A desperate moan rips from my throat, my body trembling under her touch. “Lilia... please.” My hips lifting, chasing her, needing more. She hums, low and indulgent, before finally sliding another finger inside me, stretching me open, pushing deeper, pressing her palm against me just enough to make me whine. My hands clutch at the sheets, my body burning, every nerve ending sparking.
“I should’ve done this sooner,” her tongue circling me in slow, teasing strokes, drawing me apart piece by piece. “Had you like this ages ago. Been wanting to hear these sounds from you for weeks”
Her fingers press against that perfect spot inside me, and I choke out a sob.
She licks deeper, pressing her tongue flat against me before sucking lightly, and I jerk, crying out.
“Want to hear you cum for me,” Lilia purrs, her voice dark and commanding, before she sucks harder, her fingers thrusting into me faster, curling deep, coaxing me higher. “Come on, baby. Let me hear it.”
And I do.
The pleasure crashes through me like a tidal wave, my body shaking, moaning her name over and over as I fall apart beneath her touch. Lilia doesn’t stop, doesn’t let up until I’m completely wrecked, panting, and twitching from the aftershocks.
She finally pulls back, pressing a final, lingering kiss against me, her breath warm and heavy.
“Good girl,” she murmurs, pressing a kiss to my stomach, her voice full of praise that makes me shiver all over again. “You did so well for me.”
I can barely respond, my limbs boneless, my mind hazy. But I know one thing for sure, I want more.
It takes me a moment to come back down, my body still trembling, my breaths ragged and uneven. Lilia watches me with dark, satisfied eyes, her smirk smug and dripping with confidence. Her fingers still teasing lazy circles on my thigh like she’s enjoying the way I twitch under her touch.
But I’m not done with her, not by a long shot.
Before she can even process it, I flip us over, pressing her into the mattress with a wicked grin. Her eyes widen, but there’s no surprise, just anticipation, hunger.
“Fuck.” The word comes out in a breath, barely a sound, but enough for her to hear.
She hums, amused, her nails skimming over my arms as if daring me to continue.
My fingers trail lower, slipping between her thighs, and I pause, my breath catching as I feel how absolutely soaked she is. The realisation sends a shiver through me, and I can’t help the smirk that tugs at my lips.
I pull back slightly, looking at her properly now, taking in the way her lips are parted, her pupils blown wide, her body already straining toward me.
“Oh,” I breathe, teasing my fingers against her, dragging them slowly to feel every bit of her need. “You don’t need any help, do you?”
Lilia’s breath hitches, her hips twitching beneath my touch, but she doesn’t answer, just watches me with dark, half-lidded eyes, her lips parted in anticipation. Fixes me with a look that makes my stomach flip.
It’s daring. A challenge. Like she’s waiting to see what I’ll do next.
“Fuck,” I say again, letting out another slow breath, pressing a little firmer, feeling how she responds so easily. “You really have been waiting for this,” I murmur, my voice dark, satisfied. “Haven’t you?”
She parts her lips to respond, but I don’t give her the chance.
I sink my fingers into her, slow at first, teasing, stretching her open, feeling the way her body clenches around me.
And then I push in deeper, hard, and she gasps, her back arching, her fingers digging into my shoulders..
I don’t go slow. I don’t tease. I take her hard and rough, my fingers moving with purpose, curling inside her in a way that has her moaning instantly.
Lilia’s hands grasp at my shoulders, her nails scratching, dragging down my back, and I lower my mouth to her breasts, sucking one of her nipples between my lips. I swirl my tongue around it, biting down just enough to make her cry out, and it’s the most beautiful sound I’ve ever heard.
“Fuck, y/n,” she moans, her hips bucking up against my hand, her thighs trembling around me.
I smirk against her skin, flicking my tongue over the hardened peak before moving to the other, lavishing it with the same rough attention while my fingers pump into her relentlessly.
She’s so wet, so tight around my fingers, and it doesn’t take much before I feel her start to tighten around me, her walls fluttering, her breath coming out in broken gasps.
“So, you’ve been thinking about this for a while, huh?” I murmur against her chest, my voice dripping with satisfaction. “Thinking about how I’d feel inside you?”
She groans, her back arching as she gasps, “Yes... yes... fuck.”
I grin wickedly, increasing the pace, curling my fingers just right until she’s on the edge, her breath coming in short, desperate pants. “Come on, Lilia,” I whisper against her skin, sucking hard on her nipple as I thrust into her with delicious precision.
“Let me hear you.”
And she does.
Lilia spasms around me, her moan breaking apart into something raw and desperate, her entire body trembling beneath me as she comes undone, gasping my name like it’s the only thing she knows.
I watch her fall apart, mesmerised, drinking in every twitch, every gasp, every sharp intake of breath, and it’s the most intoxicating thing I’ve ever seen.
My fingers slow, riding out her high as I press soft kisses along her collarbone.
Her breathing is ragged, a deep flush crawling up her chest, sweat slicking her skin, and she lets out a soft, breathy laugh, pulling me against her, her fingers tangling in my hair. “I should hate how smug you look right now,” she murmurs, voice thick and shaky.
I smirk, kissing along her jaw. “You love it.”
She hums, her lips ghosting over my temple as her breath steadies, her fingers tracing lazy patterns on my back.
After the intensity of it all, after the heat, the moans, and the desperate need finally sated, we collapse into the sheets, bodies still humming with the aftershocks.
Lilia sighs softly against my hair, her arm draped lazily over my waist, her chest rising and falling steadily beneath me, and I feel her hand lazily tracing circles on my back.
I shift slightly, my leg sliding between hers, my fingers still ghosting over her skin, unable to stop touching her even in the aftermath.
Her skin is warm, still damp from sweat, her breathing slow and steady.
“Comfortable?” she murmurs, voice low and raspy, and I can hear the lingering amusement in it.
I nuzzle against her neck, pressing a lazy kiss to her collarbone. “Very.” My voice is heavy with sleep, and I can feel the exhaustion creeping in, but I don’t want to move. “You?”
She hums, her lips pressing against my temple in a slow, lingering kiss. “Mm. I could get used to this.”
My heart stutters at that, but I don’t say anything, just smile against her skin, letting myself bask in the warmth of her.
Minutes pass, maybe hours, time feels irrelevant when I’m wrapped around her like this. Lilia strokes her fingers through my hair absentmindedly, and I can feel her breathing slowing, the tension that always seems to cling to her finally easing away.
I sigh, letting my eyes flutter shut, my body melting against hers. “Don’t retreat in the morning,” I mumble sleepily, barely coherent, but needing to say it.
She chuckles softly, the sound vibrating through me. “I won’t, baby.”
And that’s enough for me. With her promise lingering in the air between us, I drift off, feeling safe, sated, and completely tangled in her. Tangled in her warmth, in her scent, in the quiet hum of her presence.

-I can feel the light shine on my face-
You were just done watching some cooking TV show when you heard knocking on your door and that was strange to say the least. It was just past five PM, and Barbara said she wouldn't drop by, and she sounded like she would be really busy with her family. Not to mention Barbara never knocked, she just barged in like a very confident and determined burglar. And Hugh, the only other person you would expect to show up, wasn't even in the States, he went to Australia for a bit, so there really wasn't anyone who could show up. There was Jenna, but she was supposed to come tomorrow, so you figured maybe it was one of your neighbors dropping by for something.
Regardless of who it was you hopped to your feet and, with a bounce to your steps you haven't really gotten used to, you went over to the doors and opened them. And the sight in front of you was the most beautiful sight you have ever seen. “Jen,” you whispered, her name falling from your lips like a prayer, and both of you stood there, just taking the sight of one another in. She was beautiful, her hair was falling in soft waves, her face was damn near free from makeup and somehow even more beautiful than you remembered. And the baby blue sweater hugging her figure looked incredible on her. She was dressed in a casual, comfortable manner, and that was Jenna you knew. You couldn't find any words to say, you just let the emotions overtake you and it looked like both of you moved at the same time as she jumped into your arms, and you lifted her up.
“Y/N,” Jenna whispered your name, burying her face in the crook of your neck as she wrapped her legs and arms around you. On the other hand you couldn't decide what to do with your own hands, and eventually just wrapped them around her, hoping you could just pull her in as much as physically possible. All of your senses were filled with her, the touch of her hands, the feel of her body pressed against yours, the smell of her perfume and something that was uniquely her, the sound of her soft shuddering breaths. The sight in front of your eyes as you turn your head slightly and just looked at the side of her face, at the way her lips trembled and her eyes remained tightly shut closed. You took it all in, not wanting to miss anything. “This is finally happening,” her voice cracked, and you ran your fingers through her hair.
“I'm right here, Jen, you've got all of me,” you assured her and she pulled her head back slightly, looking you in the eyes and like there was some sort of mutual understanding between you, you just both leaned in. You kissed her lips and if you died at that very moment you would have died happy and satisfied because that must have been what happened, otherwise how else could you explain the heavenly taste of her lips. She was yours, she loved you back, and you couldn't hold anything back, you deepened the kiss, pouring all of your love into it. You stumbled to the other side of the hall and pressed her against the wall, so you could properly touch her. Jenna hummed into the kiss, her fingers digging into your hair, sliding back down to your cheeks, almost frantic in the way she moved. You felt her legs tightening around your waist as she pushed against you harder, and she gasped, biting her lower lip to hold back the sounds she may have been tempted to make.
She looked you in the eyes and kissed you again, as if your lips were the only way she could keep those sounds restrained. You still kept her up with your right hand wrapped around her lower back, all the while your left hand currently caressed her face, your thumb brushing against her neck, up to her jaw and tilting her head slightly so you could kiss her deeper. You could feel her desperately trying to remove any distance between your bodies, rocking slightly against you. Jenna opened her lips and you felt her tongue against your lips and who were you to reject or deny her anything.
The need for air did become too strong and Jenna pulled back gasping for air since you began kissing down her neck needing to feel her. She panted slightly into your ear, and you cursed your lack of control. “Jen, you deserve so much better than this empty hall for our first kiss,” it was too late though, you kissed in front of your apartment, not even being able to wait until you were inside. Sure, the walls were thick, and no one would hear you, but Jenna deserved so much more than this, and that made you finally snap out of your desperation to hold and kiss her enough to turn around, pulling her away from the wall. “Hold on to me,” you said.
“You don't need to tell me twice, I'm not letting you go,” Jenna gasped, and it felt like one of the more difficult things you had to do was to let go of her to pick up her suitcases and just carry them inside your apartment. You didn’t even carry them far, just beyond the doorstep, nothing else matters as long as you could close the doors behind you. “Lock the doors,” Jenna whispered before going for another searing hot kiss as you fumbled with the key to lock the doors. And you remained there, leaning back on the doors as Jenna moved her legs to your sides instead,
“Don't plan on leaving anytime soon, huh?” you said, overcome with happiness as Jenna tilted your chin, making you look at her. And all you could see in her eyes was pure desire and love, and you could see yourself being driven insane by her eyes, by her beautiful, dark brown, expressive eyes, that were right now looking at you like nothing else besides the two of you mattered.
“We have a lot of time to make up for,” she was holding on to you like the very thought of leaving you again physically hurt. “I need you,” she leaned head back, baring her neck to you in complete surrender and all you could feel from her was ‘I'm all yours, do with me whatever you want to do’ as you latched on to her neck, quickly finding the spot that made her moan. You found yourself thinking that if you've never heard another sound aside from whatever sound left Jenna’s lips you wouldn't have been missing out on anything.
Jenna gasped, overcome by emotions neither of you could restrain. You leaned against the doors harder, otherwise your knees would have buckled how much all of this affected you. “Jenna,” you whispered her name, your heart soaring with every sigh of pleasure slipping past her lips.
“I love you,” she whispered and it felt as if all the truths of the world concentrated into those three words she spoke while leaning her forehead against your own.
“I love you too,” you told her and finally found the strength and the clarity of mind to take her into the living room, but the smile on her face told you she didn't quite want to let go of you. Still, you made your way to the sofa and slightly bent down to let Jenna back down. At least that was what you planned, she seemed more than comfortable clinging to you like a koala. “Someone's very comfortable, I see,” you said, unable to suppress the smile on your face as she peppered your face with kisses and you made a mental note to, now that you could actually do it, kiss each and every freckle on her face.
“Mhm, very comfortable. Have I ever told you how much I love how strong you are?” she gripped your biceps and let out a content sigh at the feel of the muscles underneath the fabric of your shirt. “You just drive me wild, if I'm being honest,” that might be something you should keep in the back of your mind for some time later.
“Yeah, you have no right to complain, Jen,” you lowered her onto the sofa, or rather pressed her back against it, while you still carried her in your arms. You looked at her and decided to do exactly what you wanted, you started kissing the adorable and very much inviting freckles on her face.
“Oh my God, you're doing that!” Jenna laughed, but she wasn't backing away, not even a bit. “You're so corny,” she lightly swatted your back, but with the way she turned her head slightly to give you better access to her freckles told you she very much enjoyed it.
“Mhm, and you are irresistibly beautiful,” you missed her so much. You finally had her in your arms, showing her just how much and in what way you loved her. But eventually your phone rang and you noticed you left it at the kitchen table, way too far from where you were right now.
“Your phone,” Jenna reminded you, though she sounded incredibly annoyed by that interruption. Still, she dropped her arms from around you, letting you go, only for you to pull her back against you, showing her that you couldn’t give a damn. And Jenna laughed, that breathy, adorable laugh of hers encouraging you as you returned to kissing her neck, slowly but surely leaving small marks upon her skin.
“Let it ring, I don't give a fuck who it is,” you had something a lot more important than whoever was calling you in front of you. Especially when Jenna moaned a bit louder as you left a nice and rather prominent hickey on the side of her neck. You sure hoped she either brought a scarf or something to cover herself up, or simply didn't intend to leave your apartment anytime soon.
“Good,” she pushed you slightly and you moved according to how she wanted you to as she went and swapped your position and straddled you. She smiled mischievously, and though she didn't go far, she slipped her hands right underneath your shirt feeling your abs. “Fuck,” she hissed, her nails digging lightly into your flesh as she pretty much did the same thing you've been doing to her until now and made it her mission to mark your neck without a care in the world about how visible the hickeys would be. “All mine,” she whispered into your ear, while slowly bringing her hand up, and over your shirt, up your upper body, all the way to your lips and you caught it with your own hand, kissing the tips of her fingers as the two of you just looked into each other's eyes.
Your phone began ringing again, and you still ignored it, lost in her, lost in the feel of her body on top of yours. She slowly brushed her fingers along your arms, kissing you on the lips again. Her tongue slipped right past your lips and met your own, and despite the heat between you the kiss turned slow and sensual. You were sure you would have left a string of saliva between you when you pulled back to breathe in, if only you separated enough for a string to form.
And the kisses kept coming and coming, soaked in desperation and love and longing that was finally over, all the while your phone insistently kept ringing, and before you knew it, you had five missed calls within twenty minutes and your phone was ringing once more.
“OK, now that's just ridiculous. I might as well pick up, or we'll be hearing that for the rest of the day,” and though reluctantly, Jenna agreed with you. She separated from you and sat down on the sofa as you got up and grabbed your phone seeing that it was Tom, your agent. “My agent, I should take this. I’ll make it quick,” you told her and she nodded, understanding how the job was. Besides you just made the man call you for the sixth time so neither of you could really complain much about the brief break in the reunion. “What's up?” you asked as you answered your phone and tried to sound like you weren't just recently flustered and very much affected by what you and Jenna just did.
“What's up?! This is the sixth time I'm calling you! You got the fucking role in that movie you auditioned for, filming is in May. Jesus, I won't even ask what you were doing!” he was actually pissed and all you were thinking about was that this really could have been an e-mail, or at the very least a text message instead of requiring a call.
“OK, OK, thanks for telling me. Have a great day,” you told him and he hung up, angry and annoyed and you caught yourself wondering if you could just hire Barbara as your agent slash stylist slash whatever you needed because as far as the roles went you pretty much dealt with all of that on your own. Tom was just checking the paperwork and negotiating the payment, and knowing Barbara, she would do that a lot better.
You turned your phone off after that, not wanting to get to the repeat of what's been happening in the background of your and Jenna’s make out session. And then you just leaned back against the table, watching Jenna as she was sitting sideways, looking at you all proud and happy and you couldn't help but be drawn to her swollen lips and neck turning red from all the kissing you left on it.
“Got a new role,” she guessed, and you nodded.
“Don't really know too many details right now, but looks like I'll be filming in May,” and the smile on Jenna’s face just became wider at that new information.
“Good, I’m free until May as well,” Jenna got up and joined you, her fingers playing with the waistband of your pants, and actually innocently this time, she was just pulling you a bit closer. “Just means we can properly catch up, spend a month and a half the way we should have a long time ago,” she whispered, and you completely agreed with her as she slipped her thumb under the collar of your shirt and pulled it aside. She kissed your shoulder before her other hand reached up to the back of your head and she pulled you lower, once more letting her lips touch your own. “I could kiss you all day long,” she spoke, her lips mere fragments of an inch away from your own.
“I like the sound of that,” and you truly did, she was mesmerizing. And then a sound neither of you quite expected echoed through the room and you both looked down looking at Jenna’s belly as her stomach growled and she blushed.
“Well, that's an embarrassing way to break the moment,” she looked away from you, more than a little bit embarrassed by what just happened. But her stomach remained merciless, growling and complaining about being empty.
And you, finding all of this adorable and wanting to tease her a bit, went down on one knee and poked her belly. “So, what are you in the mood for, grumpy?” and all you got as a response was Jenna stammering to come up with some answer as her stomach growled again. “Something sweet? Pancakes, crepes? I don't think you can wait for some pastry. Hm? What are you in the mood for?” you finally looking into Jenna’s eyes as you kissed her over her shirt and if anyone ever physically melted into a puddle then it was Jenna after that very moment. She just looked at you, completely speechless. “I can keep doing this until you answer,” you grinned and kept kissing her over the shirt.
“Maybe I want that,” Jenna finally found some words to string together as a proper response, though it wasn't quite what you were looking for. You looked her in the eyes, silently asking for permission as you slowly lifted her shirt up, and when her lips parted and she watched you in anticipation you went and kissed her bare skin. You could see goosebumps on her skin as your fingers brushed along her sides and she clutched your shoulders. “Fuck! Uh, crepes, crepes, I want crepes!” she exclaimed, and you kissed her belly one more time before you got back up.
“Well, that worked,” you teased her slightly as you went to the kitchen to grab everything you needed to make crepes.
“Yeah, well I had to do something before I got hungry for something else,” she said, following you with a chair to sit down in the kitchen while you began mixing the ingredients. You felt the heat crawling up so your cheeks at the implications of her words. “If you kept that up we wouldn't have lasted an hour let alone twelve hours,” you had no idea what twelve hours meant but you certainly understood what Jenna was saying.
And you went and slapped your cheek, because you had a meal to prepare instead of letting your mind wander off to definitely not innocent ideas. At least Jenna laughed at you, adoring the way both of you could affect one another so easily.
~X~
Jenna watched you as you worked, mixing in the ingredients for the crepes, and she couldn't believe she let this distance lasts for so long. She could have had this perhaps even that night in Denver, almost three months ago. Well, better late than never, she supposed. This was all she wanted and needed, and you were giving her all of it, passionate and intense with every display of affection you've shown her today.
And then she noticed some changes in the apartment. You bought a bigger table, one that could fit six people comfortably and maybe even more if needed, and you've added the TV and now the apartment had several shelves with some small figures, or books and movies. It was definitely a lot more personal than it was the last time she came here. “When did all of this happen?” she asked, curious.
“Last week. I was actually quite busy doing all of this,” you told her, and she slowly began piecing the timeline together. Whatever happened while you were filming The Daughter took you out of the stupor you were in, and now all she could feel from this apartment was warmth and welcoming feeling, permeating the air. It finally felt lived in instead of barren and depersonalized. And then something else caught her attention as she saw a couple of photos framed on the wall.
“Can I go and look at them?” she asked and pointed at the photos.
“Of course, Jen, you can do anything,” you said and actually joined her when she reached the wall. So, she fell back against you and instinctively you went and wrapped your arm around her waist, holding her close.
She looked at the first photo and she finally got to see them, even if it was just on a photograph. Your parents were with you, your mother holding you up while your father hugged both of you, you looked like you were maybe five or six years old and you had the toothy grin on your face radiating with so much happiness. It turned out you looked like both of your parents, inheriting the best traits of both of them.
“It was mom's birthday and all she wanted was just to have a nice family dinner, so dad and I went and made it for her. Well, it was really just dad, I was more of a nuisance rather than a helping hand. But I will say that I managed to professionally bring him anything he needed while he was making dinner,” you explained, and more than the story what took Jenna by surprise was the ease with which you talked about your parents. You spoke with fondness, rather than the pain of loss that was there the one and only time she heard you talk about them before.
“Was he a better cook or was it your mom?” she asked, knowing you also learnt to cook from your neighbor, but maybe your parents also had a role in it.
“Dad, absolutely! Mom was focused on work and while she could cook she did it out of necessity, he did it out of passion. Never really got to teach me, he wasn’t the most patient teacher so by the time we got to sometimes cook together I already knew more or less what I was doing,” you laughed at the memory and Jenna wondered which other similarities you picked up from your parents. She would have plenty of time to figure it out, that much she knew.
Her eyes fell on the second photo, you and Barbara, on, from the looks of it, Barbara’s high school prom. She looked stunning, yet what caught Jenna’s attention was the lack of your own outfit appropriate for the occasion.
You noticed her confusion. “Oh yeah, I never got to tell you. Because of what happened to my parents I ended up being absent a lot and had to repeat a grade so I actually graduated the year after Barbara did,” you explained and once again Jenna noticed there was no sorrow in your voice, there was just raw emotion, simple acceptance, and a healthy approach to what you went through.
The third photo she noticed was actually from Logan, you and Hugh in your costumes, with claws on your hands, but very much happy and grinning at the camera, unlike Laura and Logan would.
“You looked so cute when you were filming Logan,” she was still in awe at how well you acted in that movie, and she had to admit she had seen the movie quite a lot of times while she was away from you, trying her best to have at least some semblance of you in her life.
“I'm no longer cute? Is that what you're trying to say?” she was noticing so many differences in you, in the best way possible. You were so much quicker to respond in a light-hearted way, so much warmer and gentler, if that was even possible. And she believed that even before everything happened you were one of the most loving people she got to meet, and now you were just taking up to eleven.
“Not exactly the word I’d use. More like ridiculously hot,” she's muttered, taking the opportunity while you got slightly embarrassed to peck you on the lips.
And the final photo hanging on the wall was actually the two of you, from the last day on the set of Scream. It was the selfie she took, and that was very much a photo she often went back to and was currently her lock screen. And of all the other photos you probably had, this was the one you hung on your wall, the one where you were hugging, side by side and very much looking close.
“I am very much open to adding more photos to any wall you want,” you told her, softly kissing the side of her neck before pulling back slightly. And she could see it in your eyes that you wanted so many photos of the two of you together, and she wanted that just as much as you did.
“With pleasure,” she agreed, capturing your lips once more in a soft, quick kiss.
“Speaking of pleasure,” oh, she was doomed. The way you said that made her knees weak, and got her mind stuck in a gutter. How much more could you affect her when all you had to do to get her worked up was go down to your knees and kiss her stomach. “I should really go and make those crepes,” you were such an asshole for that, you had her worked up and you knew where you were going with that! Jenna stared at you as you pulled away, laughing and going back to the kitchen to make the crepes.
She should have eaten before she came here, she just couldn't. She was that nervous and it turned out she had absolutely nothing to be nervous about.
Half an hour later the two of you were sitting at the table, with enough crepes to fill her up, and for you to grab a snack as well. Jenna went and brought the strawberry jam from the fridge and figured that, along with some chocolate syrup, would be good enough for the filling. But instead of letting her fill her own crepe, you went and did it for her. Placing it on her plate and moving on to the next one. And Jenna just humored you, biting into the soft, sweet crepe and moaning at the wonderful taste of it.
“Oh my God, I missed your cooking so much,” she commented, wiping a bit jam that spilled on to her chin and she saw it caught your eyes and just smiled behind the crepe.
You placed the second one on her plate when she was about halfway done with her current one, and leaned in, stealing a bite of her crepe. “Yeah, tastes good,” you winked at her and what could she even say? How could she react other than just feel herself sinking into the pool of happiness.
There were still some things you needed to talk about, but how could she when she hasn't felt this happy in so long. She was in no rush to break this bubble the two of you formed around each other. She hasn’t seen you in two and a half months, she wanted to make up for that time.
You were done with the quick meal and slipped into a comfortable routine, washing the dishes together and then just going to the living room to watch TV. You turned on some random channel neither of you caring for. It didn’t matter what was on the TV, it was basically a background noise, all she really wanted was to cuddle with you. To just sit next to you and lean her head on you as you hugged her, everything else faded away into the background.
Before she knew it, the hours passed and it was already close to ten at night, and she has been at your apartment for almost 5 hours. The time passed like the blink of an eye, wonderful and filled with occasional kisses and gentle touches from both of you. “You know, we have a month and a half off for ourselves,” she said, finally breaching that subject.
“What do you want to do?” you asked, and she knew the answer, she had no idea.
“I don't care as long as it's with you?” and that was the truth. You could spend the month and a half right here in Denver, only leaving the apartment to get groceries or things like that, and she’d be happy.
“Well now, we can't have that. Don't copy my answer,” you complained as you gently booped her nose for no reason whatsoever. And if you wanted to play that game so could she, as she lightly caught your finger between teeth before letting go, because you just went and pull her into you making her rest most of her upper body on top of you. You even went and slightly ruffled her hair and she just burst out laughing, prompting you to join her as well. For a moment both of you forgot about what you were talking about, having too much fun with each other. Jenna should have guessed you wouldn’t get any proper talking done today, you missed each other too much and you were too excited by being together like this. “Well, that works too, we can always figure it out later. For now, we can just relax.”
And Jenna agreed with that statement completely. There was another thing on her mind though. “I-“ she began, but changed her mind. Your mood was too good to risk ruining it over something that could be addressed later, but you caught it, of course you did, you were sometimes too attentive for her own good.
“Yeah?” you prompted her and when she didn't continue you tilted her head and looked her in the eyes. “Don't hold anything back from me, Love,” you whispered so softly.
“It can wait, it's OK,” Jenna tried to reassure you, only for you to shake your head.
“No time like the present. I can see it's bothering you, and I don't want that to last until the morning,” you caught her, you absolutely caught her.
“I told my parents filming got delayed, we have a week before they expect me to return. After that… I am not sure how to handle this. I mean, do I hide us from them, or should I just tell them?” and you contemplated her words, taking a moment to think things through.
Finally, you spoke up. “I'll support you whatever you choose Jen. if you want to keep us a secret I'll be keeping it with you, and if you want to go and tell them, I'll once again be right there with you. Whenever you struggle, or when something makes you worried, I don't care how difficult it will be to do it, I'll be there for you to make it easier, no matter what,” you said and she just wondered how many times could she fall for you even harder than before. Every time she thought she must have reached her limit, and then she just fell even harder, again and again, knowing she’d keep falling for you for the rest of her life.
“You're incredible,” she made the decision, no matter what the reaction of her parents would be she would not hide you from them. She would hide this from the rest of the world, selfishly keeping you all to herself as much as she could, but she would never deny you to her parents and family. “I'll tell them,” and you nodded completely supporting her in that decision.
And then it happened, a kiss turned into another make-out session and it took you to your bedroom, and it turned out it didn't even take her six hours to end up exactly the way Barbara said she would. There she was, with you, in your bed completely naked, lost in the throes of passion. She completely gave herself to you, giving you everything she had and making love to you.
