Kai: a literally broken not-quite human being who should not exist, and only exists because of a desire that straddles the line between love and selfishness, whose very birth ripped the veil between the mortal realm and the spirit world asunder, and the malevolent forces his mere existence lets in would love nothing more than to fully corrupt him and turn him into an agent of their destruction, all the while he is filled with a rage he does not understand nor even remember, it is rage at the mother who failed to save him, rage at being pulled back from the brink of death into a different body and a different world that he was never meant for...his only hope is to find meaning in his relationships with those who truly love him...and even then, that may never truly be enough to fix him.

hey yall i saw a ninjago oc bingo that was really condescending and also made like no sense so i decided to make my own! note that this is just for fun, and not at all a rag on your ocs, in fact many of my ocs fit into a lot of these tropes! i just took what i saw really commonly in the fandom and put it here… ya girl did her best akjdhfkjg

#jesiba (oc)#ninjago #ok I'm going to go in depth for some of the squares now in the tags #NONHUMAN: Technically has a little bit of human but mainly Oni #NON CANON ELEMENT: Death. Based on Skull Sorcerer from MotM #WORKS/ED ALONE: After the Merge she was separated from everyone she knew & started using her powers to work alone. Had 2 hero identities #UNNATURAL “HUMAN” FEATURES: Eyes change color based on her mood. And since her eyes are heterochromatic they're always 2 different colors #ONE OR MORE DEAD PARENT: Bio dad & Step mom #TRAGIC BACKSTORY (multiple tags): Lost every original family member except for bio mom (who's abusive af)#Traumatic triggers of elemental powers. Hazza'dur in her head from age 10 to around age 16 or 17 #taught from age 10 to take hits including bullets & stab wounds. The merge.#Her sister giving her the elemental power of Death & dealing with that power before the merge & its changes after the merge #BORN OUTSIDE NINJAGO ISLAND: Whole ass other continent that is not the Dark Island but still in Ninjago Realm #GOOD FIGHTER: Yes but is also trained to take hits. So her getting hurt is deliberate on her part because it's her job #RIVALRY: Platonic rivalry with Jay (Nya's not involved whatsoever) because their both jokesters and think the other's annoying #DOESN'T KNOW PARTS OF BACKSTORY: Elemental being of a certain element & doesn't know it. Also mystery figure that'd come talk to sister #BISEXUAL: Might be omni (don't know) but is at the very least bi. Definitely not pan due to preference for girls #WEIRD RELATIONSHIP WITH DEATH: Elemental master of death. & powers get weirder & change after the Merge #INHERITED A POWER AT BIRTH: Didn't actually inherit the elemental master power of Death. But is elemental being of multiple elements #WORKS ALONGSIDE NINJA BUT NOT PART OF TEAM: On & off thing. Depends on time in my AU & circumstance #IN TEENS/20'S MOST OF CONTENT: basically just as it is. She's originally a BSD insert OC but she's kinda outgrown that at this point lolol

Anyway, I'd loredump but I have people that follow me that I'm keeping the lore from purposefully for a dramatic reveal later so I'm gonna have to keep it vague.

Basically, she was built 1.5 years before the present moment as an assistant to an antagonist. However, she was not made to be evil in personality or something, only obedient. She is very caring and takes good care of any captives her creator holds.

She has a particular soft spot for children, and finds human development very interesting. After those 1.5 years she finally got some additional features that mimic emotions and opinions (previously she would act only based on objective measures, now she can hold grudges etc)

Her creator, despite being an antagonist, still cares for her and treats her well and all that, so really she's happy. But will she remain that way now that morality is something that can affect her mood? 😏

I love making characters suffer in unique ways.
