To that, Hawke chuckles, slightly uncertain though it is. “All right… then what can I do for you?”

“I just—simply—I would like to talk. Could we talk? Two friends, having a casual and lighthearted conversation? No drama or anguish peppered into the mix?”

“Why, certainly! I presume that must be a thing that friends do,” Hawke says. He plops into the chair across Dorian’s. “So, then… I, uh… How was your day?”

Dorian pauses. “Awful,” he says, and laughs aloud. “It was complete and utter shit, in all honesty.”

Hawke grins. “What do you know! Mine, too. Though I suppose that’s the standard response around these parts.”

“So it is. What was I thinking, trying to force normalcy in this of all places?”

“Honest mistake,” Hawke says. “But, yes… that’s probably hopeless. Normalcy doesn’t fare very well in Kirkwall these days.”

“No indeed. And yet somehow you seem perfectly comfortable here.”

“I’m not particularly skilled at normalcy either,” Hawke says. “Birds of a strange feather must flock to the appropriate nesting ground, or what have you…”

i've been thinking a lot about Suo and i need it to stop, so i wanna analyse him a little bit and say things into the void. normally i like to psychoanalyse characters in fics but i've seen that side of the fandom and i do NOT wanna go there, so i'm saving myself by pulling the same thing i did with Nanao ig.

disclaimer: this isn't necessarily a theory about his backstory as much as it is what i personally wanna see happen. see, if i were writing him, i'd do very specific things that could go in various directions, but since i am not, unfortunately, writing him and he's not my character to fuck with, all i can do is yap. which, also, probably won't be very eloquent.

i don't think we won't be getting a backstory on him, to be honest. with a character like him, yeah, the mystery is part of the charm, and having this much anticipation can suck ass if once the secret gets revealed, it doesn't stick the landing. but i doubt Nii Satoru doesn't have something planned for him. why would bro be leaving Suo's room illustration out of the fanbook if there wasn't something there to talk about? what is in his room to talk about? but that's not what this is about.

anyway i'm gonna be so fr Suo's built like a dog. he's clearly full of shit, and yknow, that's fine, good for him, but there are things that are so painfully obvious he's just straight up lying about. after his fight with Kanuma, which is deadass the first time we see him fight, he says he "doesn't usually get so emotional," which ?? shut the fuck up? that's not true.

i know a liar when i see one. we've seen him fight five times? six if i wanna be generous; in three of those he got crazy emotional (Kanuma, keel, and Endo), and just a tiny bit miffed with the gymnast guy idr his name fuck that freak. which, listen, to be fair, if someone touched a single hair on Nirei's head in front of me, real me too i'd kill a guy. but look me in the eye lil bro don't lie to me. real talk, though, he was more than ready to kill the keel dude, and was going to. he wanted to. he was shaking while Sakura held him back, don't play with me. he wasn't gonna stop just cause someone was interjecting.

bro was itching to kill, side-eyeing Sakura, spitting snark cause how's the hot-headed mf who jumps head-first into a brawl without a second thought staying more rational than him, the rational one? Sakura's talking to him the same way i talk to my dog after she tries to kill my cat. i'm ngl my dog has better self-restraint than this kid. he also just straight up xd's his way out of it? like "oh whoopsies! mb gang! i was just feeling silly goofy! 🤪" like he forgets he's not supposed to glare at people with murder in his eyes.

speaking of murder! this is where i want him to have killed someone before Bofurin. he's, like, 15? so there's not much time to work with, but the same way Kaji was going feral at idk 8 years old, i can see a world in which Suo actually went overboard when he was a younger kid. (i'm not saying this is what things are pointing at, but i want this to be the case. i would do this myself.)

he is emotional, i don't think that's up for debate. i understand why he gets so emotional and i do think it's very noble and cool and swag of him, that's a good person, somewhat, he cares about his friends and it pisses him off when they get hurt. i fuck with that. that's great, get him an ice cream (if he even eats fucking weirdo). but why are we acting like "i am chill ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ" when, clearly, that's not true?

here's where his teacher comes in. for how much grief i'm giving him, i don't think he's all lies at all. i don't think him liking Nirei and Sakura enough to not only speak highly of them, but also fuck a guy up for them, is a lie. i think he is as kind as Umemiya describes him to be, cause honestly, if Umemiya says someone is kind, then they probably are.

i don't think this is necessarily fake as much as i think it's borrowed. it's learned behaviour. it's teachings passed down to him by his teacher. it's discipline. it's not something that comes naturally to him, but it is something a person he respects and looks up to taught him, so he tries to live by it. he's very clearly been disciplined, probably got beaten into the ground by his teacher, got his ass handed to him again and again and again until he sharpened his reflexes and learned how to control himself in a fight.

he talks a lot about adulthood, talks a lot about maturing, talks a lot about self-control and whatnot. which, by the way, this is a child? lil bro you're fifteen go play on your switch idk. but i'd like to think this comes from someone telling him, "hey, what you did was not okay. you have a lot of strength and you're not an animal. use it wisely so you can one day grow into a proper adult." solely cause i want him to have killed someone. that's all i want.

i think it would make sense, really. how funny would it be if he was living similarly to Sakura? i've seen people headcanon him as a rich kid, but he lies a lot, and i wouldn't put it past him to be living in a sad, lonely one-room apartment. there's a billion ways things could be done with him. maybe his parents didn't care to try disciplining him, maybe he grew up with no parents at all. he has a short fuse, that's easy to tell, even if he acts like he's got everything under control. it's a very Suzuri type of situation, so maybe it's not the direction Nii Satoru is gonna take things, but one can dream.

as for the eyepatch, i haven't really thought much about it. the way i see things, he's gotta come from a neglectful background, so losing an eye would make sense. or maybe he did it himself, i'd love to see that (i would do that with a character like this if he was mine). if his eye is even missing at all, cause all things considered, it might be sort of just a way to give himself a handicap to remind himself not to go overboard.

which, circling back to the self-restraint thing, i like to think that's the reason he doesn't really use much excessive force. not to say he doesn't kick and punch, cause lil bro packs a mean punch, but he doesn't gravitate to hitting people. he's usually using his opponent's weight and momentum against them, which is why i was decently surprised when i saw him grab the keel dude and wind back to bash his face in. he's not violent, until he lets go of what little self-restraint he has, and then he is. it's values and principles that come from someone else telling him how to behave, except he still struggles to hold himself back.

to put it in simple terms, if he were my character, this is what i would do. i'd have him kill someone by going overboard as a kid, have him be taken in by this teacher, have him disciplined and clean his act up by beating his ass, and then have him parrot all these teachings at people he meets later. cause that's essentially what he's doing, he's just repeating things someone else told him. what does bro know about being an adult he doesn't even pay taxes go do your trig homework. but he tries, and you can tell he's trying, even if it doesn't come natural, he cares about his friends and he cares about becoming a better person, he's just a little too quick to snap.

you know what i mean? he cares about Nirei in particular, he loves Nirei, he tries to learn from Nirei. (guys i love Nirei i wont shut the fuck up). but fr, he's got that Nanao complex where he instigates things or sets things into motion and doesn't quite participate. he watches from the back, for better or for worse, but he doesn't necessarily involve himself in things. he keeps a distance. he feels like the other side to Sakura's coin sometimes, learning about people and how warm they actually are. he's all prim and proper and nonchalant, but he recognises he's no match for Sakura and maybe even Nirei. after all, it's always Nirei the one grabbing both of them by the arm and dragging them places.

he talks so big and maturely about not meddling too much with people who can't quite handle friendship yet, and then goes "!" when Nirei tells him "? fuck are you talking about? that's the more reason to teach Sakura about friendship." it's the look on his face after Nirei, despite Suo's long-winded and logical argument, goes to Kotoha and insists they help Sakura anyway. he's learning from Nirei too. also Nirei's crazy endearing so real me too but that's beside the point.

i don't think these parts of him are fake, but they might just be artificial. he's still integrating them into his own person and making them his, but he still slips here and there. he's not quite there yet. i hope he killed someone when he was 8yo. that's all thank you for reading thumbsup

You will be assigned one person to interview for the purpose of finding the reasons of their actions and other possible important information. Do you have any questions?" your professor explained.

You raised your hand. "Yes (name)". "Uhh..so how long will we be doing this? And, how will we stay safe while interviewing? I mean they are criminals". A reasonable question considering that they are most likely capable of doing what a sane person can't.

"Ah I seem to have forgot to tell you, so for your information this assignment will take about a month's time, you will begin the assignment next week and will end about 4 weeks from there. Alpha trion ngl is a little double standard here tho I think in the movie. He truly was the key factor in how events unfolded.

Like his brothers and sister were murdered AND their planet is NOW under slavery as he seen from the gang's appearance so understandably he wants to kill sentinel.

That's why he was silent when Megs was all I WANNA KILL HIM.

He willingly chose to give megs a t-cog giving them all access to WEAPONS to achieve their perceived goal.

Even if they themselves didn't know their potential at the time.

Was that intentional by Alpha?????? I think yess totally. Who's best interest was prioritised tho.

In the beginning, Megs was alpha T's champion. Was this a reluctant decision I dk.

By the end of movie, Meg's DOES kill sentinel. He's achieved Alpha's objective.

But Orion accidentally being collateral gets him in the good graces of Alpha trion???? - becomes prime. If my train of thought is somewhat true, Like Alpha wanted to kill sentinel too, what do you meannn show mercy and you get prize. I can see why Megs would be pissed.

Did Megs feel he was fooled by Alpha?? Being fooled into loosing his best friend. Mabye that why he Soo angry?? Orion fr was too passive.

I wished his dialogue would have been more challenging to D-16's. That would have been great dialogue mabye, we would be able to see the push and pull CLEARLY between them. Their inner turmoils, their inner thoughts - What the stunned silence can't show us. does show how they feel but for the audience we don't benefit much other then seeing this as an OH shit Moment.

At the end of things, Alpha is winning out. Alpha is getting his main goal achieved, getting the trash out (sentinel) so his people can deal with the Quints (the bigger problem) instead.

What I'm trying to ask is How MUCH did Alpha know about the events of past and future in this universe. - as a prime he has powers but to what extent. Did he have his covenant???

Now Orion is his champion going into the future.

This brings into question their planetary war-like culture.

Alpha is no stranger to death and violence. As, it is already implied that the primes of old were battle trained. Their main way of dealing with things is through conflict. They are at war with the Quints.

Alpha saw them as a means to the end, it's just unfortunate that they will eventually bring the planet that alpha entrusted to them to ruins.

With the first gen of TFs being like that, does that mean that all other TFs that emerge from vector sigma or however their sparks are ignited later were made to have battle protocols inbedded to their programming????

Cause my one gripe with the movie is kinda they blurred the lines of violence.

I was like wth they suddenly have black belts in combat??????? SINCE when did they learn???

I don think Orion had a chance to clearly understand or see what Sentinel had physically done to Megs. (That permanent scar)

When I watched to movie, I was sooo confused honestly about the whiplash turnaround between them.

But now, I think I have a better understanding of Megs fr fr. OP being the dreamer just sadly couldn't dream for the both of them.😢😢

ALRIGHT SO

I watched HTTYD 2 for the first time and I have Thoughts. Spoiler warning ig but like, pretty sure everyone's watched the film who's reading this post anyway.

Thing number one: THEY DID THE GANG SO DIRTY???? Transitioning from RTTE to the second film gave me massive whiplash on that front, they gave them like???? no time????? no lines????? like wtf man????? Astrid turns up occasionally to give Hiccup a pep talk, with the rest of her limited screentime being devoted to a b-plot that was kinda pretty bad. Snotlout, the twins, and Fishlegs only barely exist, and the whole love thingy situation with Eret, Snotlout, Ruffnut, and Fishlegs was just....bleh.

Thing number two: The film simultaneously felt too fast and too slow. The slow scenes sometimes dragged a bit too long imo, and the fast scenes could be pretty difficult to follow, with just, a lot of stuff going on, but not in a good way (if that makes sense?).

Visuals were gorgeous throughout, the closeup shots of the dragons was cool because wow the skin looks so textured. Loved how they kept the philosophy of the scenes only being lit with objects actually there (or whatever it was), the lighting was ough yes very nice. The motion of the people (particularly hiccup) felt very motion-capture, but not enough to detract from the film.

I really wish I could've seen more of him exploring the uncharted parts of the world, that was cool (ig rtte is that but ehh).

There were definitely flashes of brilliance in the film as well. The flight scenes with Hiccup and Toothless were stunning, the scene where Stoick meets Valka is great, Stoicks funeral was also very good. One of my favourite moments was Hiccup flying in on the wingsuit, covering Drago in zippleback gas, and blowing him up because yes yes yes this is the person with the heart of a cheif and soul of a dragon!!!!!

Returning to visuals, there are many shots that are just gorgeous. I would say that it felt less like every frame could be a painting (which the 1st on genuinely did feel like a lot of the time) and more like a lot of okay stuff and then BAM most beautiful shot you've ever seen. They really got the sense of scale well, and did a good job placing how big and fast the dragons are in the 3d space (most of the time), something which I felt the shows were lacking, probably just due to not having the budget for huge sweeping landscapes that actually look any good, among many other reasons I'm sure.

Love that Hiccup kept the changes to the sword that Viggo made (even though yes, Viggo being the one to have the idea was added retroactively). Also cool that it retracts and stuff, it's cool to see the final design after the iterations in rtte. same for wingsuit.

Loved that Toothless's loyalty/friendship/love for Hiccup was what brought him back.

Drago was super forgettable as a villain ngl. I just kinda didn't care about him. I was very surprised that Hiccup didn't bring up his leg when Drago was monologuing about losing his arm to a dragon. Also was Drago supposed to be Hiccups foil? Or something? idk, whatever, I just didn't care about him. Why did he have a big army? idk he just does. Literally what even was his end goal i genuinely don't remember and I just watched the film.

If they could make the film cover a short TV show to flesh out basically everything more that could've been neat, but idk if the budget would stretch that far and still produce something good. Maybe the film was trying to fit in too much? Idk lol.

I'll probably watch No.3 on my own cause my family would NOT stop talking -_-

anyway here's my beloved stinky miitopia party, i've been building up a crossover story in miitopia since i first played the game many years ago, and as my interests have evolved, so has my cast for every replay. (i have genuinely lost count of how many times i have replayed this game)

i'm cringe but free etc etc.... sayaka/lissa/alfred aka aph america have been here the longest (my legacy blorbos, if you will) and are always on my endgame team, so they have immunity. everyone else has been loosely swapped around until it's settled into the form it's in now (and it still might change when i get obsessed with miitopia again). the town/story npcs are not as important or consistent across playthroughs, they're easily swapped around with random characters i find in mii central. the only exception is the great sage, whom i've drawn here. i also think waluigi is my new main dark lord, since he was my first thief before therion entered the picture. never actually drawn him though

cirno is my main protagonist because she is my ultimate legacy blorbo. in my loose story adapting this adventure i like to think she gets the elf class as a mandatory story beat like an fe lord during the arc where the whole gang is getting back together in karkaton. (elf design here is kinda bad, i swear i had a design doodled of it in my sketchbooks but i couldn't find it so i had to improvise)

i had three other "travelers hub" characters in the mage/imp/princess class but i never got around to drawing them because to be honest my miitopia resurgence kinda faded once i finished these drawings........ but i'll get to them too! all these designs are either loosely based off of existing outfits in the game or ones i straight up pulled outta my ass lmao

I feel like my switchy side has come out so much more recently and my oh my how the conse's have quenced 💀 2 irl tk stories incoming - both helping in and then later being the victim recipient of gang tkling...

okay so first story happened about 2 weeks ago and the second happened a few days ago.

so I had my friends over at my place and our friend E (yes same E from my previous story) had had a pretty bad day and we were trying to cheer him up. we were sitting around on my couch, with E laying on the floor, and my friend next to me, "A", goes "you know Bug, I know one way we could get E to smile". now, we have previously tag-team tkled E before, because it takes two of us to stand a chance against him lol. so when he heard that, he immediately broke into a nervous grin and put his hands up in preparatory defense saying "i dont know about that,, thats not necessary,,," etc. but it was too late the idea had already taken hold. he stayed where he was laying on the ground while I grabbed his hands and tried my best to hold them as A grabbed an ankle and started tkling him. ngl I spent most of the time trying to keep my hold (he has over a foot of height on both of us but also definitely was not fighting back in earnest) but I did get a few squeezes in 😇. it only lasted like 2-3 minutes but once we stopped he had the giddiest smile after. he was significantly in a better mood after that, and for the rest of the night every time he seemed to be too in his head A would threaten that we'd wreck him again (it was honestly more flustering for me than it was him LOL)

OKAY SO that was pretty much it for a few days but the other day I had the tables turned on me (i did a whole lot of finding out with minimal fucking around). honestly it was a super similar situation to start - we were at E's house and I had a horrible day and i spent the whole day trying not to cry and eventually it all came tumbling out. after a really wholesome crying sesh and genuinely being comforted by my friends I was feeling way better. I was sitting on the floor, back resting on the couch, in between E and A. E then turns to A and is like "I think Bug could really use a smile right now" and without warning starts fluttering his fingers all around my neck, causing me to scrunch up and start frantically grasping for his hands. A then joins in and starts doing them same for like a full minute as I'm desperately giggling and half-heartedly reaching for them. they then move to my sides and belly (which was very illegal might I add) for like at least another minute. by the end I was so flustered and half delirious from tkles I couldn't even solidly grab their hands so I just hugged myself trying to cover spots as they moved to new ones. once they stopped I was so giggly for like the next 5 minutes it was so unfair. but I felt so loved and it was so gentle like no hard wrecking it was just light giggly tkles which was so nice after such a heavy day.

I think the tk bug bit our friend group after that because we literally ended up all piling into one big heap under blankets and literally every member of the group (cause there were more than just E, A, and me) got tkled at some point 🙈

it also ended up with E and A both learning about me liking to be tkled and both individually threatening to note that information for later (one of which has already used it to their advantage several times since then🫠)

anywho - that's all I got for now. but fr idk how I got so lucky to have a friend group that is so openly tkly. like I probably get tkled at least every other day which is great at setting a perpetual Lee mood lol. I'll share more soon:)

A bit of a transitional episode for the most part though it does escalate some things quite a bit. Always a fun ride on GWitch's coaster of madness and mechs!

First on the docket, Asticassia's aftermath. They really treat you to the scope of its devastation and the students having to wait it out. Bit odd imo they make the students camp there but I guess their parents are likely scattered anyway considering the state of Benerit.

Also was it just me or did y'all instinctively look for Loss in this image? Nicely organized camp at least.

Omg I might cry. Precious Suletta has decided to take it upon herself to care for the students. rescuing them in multiple ways I see. For me, it drives home the message that human connection and community are more important than destructive forces clashing. Empathy over games of war or corporate power struggles. It's also nice that Secilia* (edit: had a brain lapse lol) questions her reasons for altruism.

Because she can so she will 🥺

We finally see how Mio is faring and it's not great! She's taken on the guilt of Prospera's induced bloodshed along with Shaddiq's. Guel tries to reassure her but Mio is firm. This is her fault. Ngl, Guel, you're partly to blame for the school. No offense. It hurts to see Mio take on other people's wrongdoing, but that's a martyr for you

Her talk with Shaddiq was interesting for a variety of reasons, but what stood out to me was their mutual resignation. They're both so tired. Shaddiq admitting he escalated because of Guel and Mio is insane tbh. She calls him an idiot, but it lacks her usual fire. I do like that he tries to protect Sabina and the gang; really speaks to the fact he's more complex than a mustache twirling villain.

OMG Chuchu giving these two tomatoes instead of punches like before was amazing. The growth! The compassion! Ugh it was so good. As was the reveal that Suletta has been stockpiling the tomatoes. Mio might not know it, but she and by extension her mother aided these wounded kids. And Suletta musing on Mio fondly? Peak

After surviving the hell room, I can't blame her for reassessing her life and priorities. Sad she lost her dream but it was tainted by Shaddiq so I understand her reasoning. She'll earn her way back fairly, though it might not be any time soon once she submits herself to the authorities.

I wasn't surprised by this. Peil's horse in the presidency war lost, so might as well turncoat. They're opportunists at heart. The pure SALT though! It was the worst kind of news for everyone else at Benerit, including Mio. Forcible suppression are not words you want to hear

It's awful of me but this screenshot made me laugh. Something about her slumped forward and mouth open, just dead to everything around her. I'm sorry Mio, I'm sad for you still. She's having a hell of a month.

Sarius, surprisingly, is willing to take the fall and allow Grassley to bear the consequences. But Mio won't allow it. She can't accept anyone bearing 'her' sins. Surprise! The SAL confiscated a never before seen or mentioned Gundam from Vanadis. And it just so happens to be a monstrous one without a permet filter I'll admit, very confusing for me at first watch. I couldn't figure out why they sprung this without any foreshadowing, but after days I have an inkling.

I'll be frank. I'm not sure why I like Belmeria. She's super pathetic. Just an absolute failure at life with the mental fortitude of toilet paper. But she's pitiable, clearly grieving, and guilty she did not perish at Folkvangr. Has done terrible things as 5lan would attest, but she's still weirdly likable. Like an aunt who everyone hates at family reunions but they're nice to you and make good cookies. Maybe it's just me

Aaaand the suppression of Benerit was swiftly canceled. Lol. QZ can't be stopped now that Prospera has assumed direct control and destroyed every threat to her daughter's eternity.

Did a huge number on Mio's psyche unfortunately, which I think is the true tragedy. Red shirts got nothing on babygirl. Gotta double down on those swords piercing her with guilt and misplaced hatred. He's an interesting character and bounces well off any cast member so it's cool with me. I enjoyed him going out of his way to apologize for harrassing Suletta.

Lauda Lauda Lauda... don't you know anyone who threatens Mio gets Suletta slapped. It's happened three times now and two of them were fatal. He's just gonna get someone killed, and it won't be Mio. I know we see him staring at Schwarzette but I don't think he would need to or have the ability to pilot it. Mio isn't a pilot, so I suspect he'll attack her with more practical means. Could be wrong ofc! This show loves twists and curveballs.

I'm rewatching What's New Scooby Doo and I have some thoughts; part 2

So I've talked about Shaggy, what about the rest of the Gang? Daphne is an overpowered queen the whole time and I love that shit. The show makes a reoccurring joke that she's able to do everything from unlock doors to renovate entire houses with whatever's in her purse. Icon and she knows it.

Velma's great as always with her usual smarts and sarcasm, and I find what they added to her personality very interesting. She fawns over certain boys with Daphne, she goes a little nuts the couple times that the Gang doesn't actually meet the bad guy beforehand so of course she didn't know who it was, and she seems to like expressing her femininity but at the same time is embarrassed by it. She volunteers to wear a Jasmine-eske belly dancer outfit and appears to be pretty comfortable, but in a different episode remarks that her "mother would have a heart attack" when she's wearing a wedding dress and an edgy wig for a Hex Girls music video. Ngl though I think that was a joke at my expense because I saw her and damn near hit the floor. Achievement Unlocked: Super Gay.

Fred is a himbo, we knew that, but special shoutout to the episode wherein the Gang is at a Renn Fair and he catapults Shaggy and Scooby into the brick wall of a tower, looks at Daphne, and says "I'll try to aim a little higher with you =] " . Bro. Also I don't know if this is the case for most iterations or not but I love that he's a fanboy. Mostly over sports teams but he's a smiley, eager dude with people he wants to impress. This did carry over to certain movies; I know he's a fan of astronauts too.

Scooby's the title character but there isn't much to say about him because he's a very simple and consistent personality; silly, scared, hungry, talking Great Dane. You don't need to change perfection.

I wasn't sure how Kram & Phupha would feel as a pair, as they'd be competing with five years of real life MaxNat chemistry, but honestly both Gun & Nat are doing great! I'm on board.

I'm enjoying the vibes and the acting, but the story got deeply confusing in the last bit. Hopefully we get some things cleared up in episode 2!

Okay, I know that the writers of Digimon Ghost Game just mainly needed to work with a series of stand-alone episodes and thus the characters can't really be "traumatized" by what happens to them. But do you think that means the protagonists of Ghost Game would be able to thrive in Digimon Survive? Just shrug off all the horrifying events and go "oh well, moving forward" or they're so jaded by the events of Ghost Game that they don't even register that these events are uniquely bad at all?

I think if the GG crew was just plucked up and dropped into digimon survive without being "modified" to fit the tone and universe, first of all they probably wouldn't really join the Survive group, especially post chapter 3 where Shuuji is taking the leadership role. Multiple of the events of Survive stem on the group not having a good standard leader early on and focusing too much on that Japanese polite "Respect your elders" moment, and we know that Ruli and Hiro are not going to stand around and let Shuuji make bad abuse related choices just because he's the oldest. Ruli would be first to say "Yeah no fuck that noise."

The Arukenimon twist that helped with losing Ryu and Kunemon would totally not happen because the gang have DEALT with a human disguised Arukenimon before. They'd take one look at the disguised 'human' and be like ".... Yeah guys that's a digimon. She's a big Spider that eats brains and pretends to be human." With the bigger conflict being "Are all arukenimon evil or are we being unfair to this one?" While Arukenimon has to be like "Ohhh yeah I'm not evil.... totally I just thought you humans would be scared.... cuz I'm a spider... a GOOD SPIDER BTW!" "Oh that's great! Cuz the last time we had to deal with one of them Gammamon's evil champion level alter ego just... you know full on murdered her. Just filled her stomach with fire until she died. Horrible way to go ngl."

But even if they couldn't negate any of the mandatory first play through party losses... they'd think it's a horrible tragedy but they've too seen dead bodies before.
