This is so random, but I saw on The official Big finish Instagram account earlier and there was a picture of Sarah sutton and Sacha Dhawan (he played a guy name Matthew) together for when they recorded the big finish audio ghost walk together and it got me thinking.

So, listen, I'm just saying, but I think if they ever did another Big finish audio with Nyssa, Tegan the Doc, And with Turlough or Adric (or hell, even if its just a Nyssa and the master Audio for all I care) but if they included the newer master and got them paired up with Nyssa,

Can we all agree that Nyssa absolutely deserves to loose her shit just..one time?? Like..GIRL, I know VERY well she has SO MUCH repressed, like her self image is already in the gutters and I'm sad to say its canon from listening just to 'Cradle Of The Snake' & 'Feast Of Fear' alone :'D like I can't even imagine how much inner rage she probably has pent up at the master for not only destroying her ENTIRE planet with ALL her people, and making her the Last of her kind BUT ON TOP THAT! He also basically took over her FATHER'S BODY and used it to hurt so many people she cared for..like..Honestly how is she coping at all.. 🥲

And I know her getting sent into a rage is very uncharacteristic of her, but! there's no way someone can pent up that much. Not even the doctor can do it, But! I feel like if Nyssa got paired up with Sacha's version of the master? It might honestly just push her to her limit. Cause we've seen before his master seems to purposely enjoy pushing people to their emotional/mental breaking points and I feel like Nyssa would absolutely be no excuse.

But like idk, part of me just kinda wants to see Nyssa tell the master off for what he's done and just let it out cause she deserves that kind of relief. 🥲

it depends on which team we're talking because I have,, three-ish teams SDJKL

I cheat a little bit with this because it's all just make-believe anyways LOL but I have ... seven pokemon on my S/I's main team because I say that Henry (piplup) doesn't ever go into his pokeball (similar to Ash's pikachu lol) so I'd be able to carry six other pokemon with me still :3

that team is Henry (piplup), Grimsby (greavard), Greer (houndoom), Huey (psyduck), chatot, umbreon, and banette! (i'm playing platinum rn so I am waiting to get the pokemon in-game to name them for my S/I's team!!)

and then I also am putting together an all dog team because dogs are a lifelong special interest (autism) for me LMAO, I like to think that Junebug (S/I) infodumps about dog-like pokemon while Guzma infodumps about bug type pokemon :3

and thennn I've got my in-game team that I actually play with when I'm in a general area and not training up for a gym leader, which currently is usually some variation of this (WIP art piece):

I finished painting my nails this afternoon and they turned out well (yay!!) I actively use only three colors: blue, violet, and black. I used the blue one since that's what i had planned to use for my next nail painting session, but i think i also needed that to boost my intuition 😆 Now, i was wondering what does violet and black nail polish manifest? 👀

Side ramble: I started my nail painting hobby after i bought the violet nail polish because it reminded me of barbatos. Im still using that same bottle up to this day. Also my mom accidentally bought the same bottle so i guess i dont have to run to the store to replace the old one anytime soon 😆

Yay!! That sounds super fun! I haven't painted my nails in what feels like ages. I think the last time I had them done was two years ago when I got acrylic nails in this really pretty purple shade. It was the only time I've ever gotten acrylic nails, but I hope to do it again sometime!

Ooh, and I love those colors! Those are some of my favorite colors, blue, purple, and black. But I love that Barbie got you into picking up a new hobby! That's cute, I bet he'd be honored! Hehe, you want to know the ways of witchcraft, do you? Just kidding! These things are for everyone and I'm glad this interests you a bit. So, I'll delve more into the color blue.

Blue can be used to help when you're in a bit of a mental slump (obviously magic is not an end all, cure all, but thought I'd say this just in case). It can cool you off, keep you level headed, and open your mind to new ideas. It essentially expands intuition and encourages inspiration. So, if you were to manifest something with the color blue, you could paint your nails with the intention to unblock your mind if it's been feeling hazy, ease your mind if something is troubling you (like an event coming up), or to remind yourself to slow down and keep your mind open to what's around you as inspiration may strike at anytime.

Purple is associated with spirituality, (blue can be too). But it also has to do with power, the power you hold within as well as what is without. It's also associated with ambition. So, manifestations with this color could be climbing up the career ladder but only doing so with the skills you have rather than by luck (you could use green, orange, or even gold if you just wanted quick luck and growth), wanting to better hone your capabilities and get to know them (and yourself) better, or to feel closer to your spirituality if you've been feeling lost or out of touch with it.

Black (I'd use black but that might be like using a white crayon on a white piece of paper) represents banishing or letting something go. It's good for meditation (as is blue) and can allude to the un/subconscious. (It's also good for protection!) Manifestations with this color could be letting something go (emotionally, mentally, physically, whatever you want), revealing something that you'd like to know or have been in the dark about, or to just feel more grounded or safe.

I gave a few examples hoping they could be flexible so you may use them to your liking. There's many more ways to incorporate color magic into everyday life to get the outcome you desire, so just play around with it and see what happens! What you'd be doing is harmless, so the worst that could happen is your manifestations wouldn't come in. Just make sure you keep your intention in mind, big rule of thumb.

Also, unrelated, did you know that eating strawberries can be a witchy/spiritual practice too? With intention, and due to the fact that strawberries are a natural aphrodisiac, eating them can promote self-love! (Or any kind of love really) It's a quick way to feel good about yourself, which I think is sweet.

i dunno if i've posted about him before but the main character is named soren harlow (god i'm gonna have to delete this post at some point because i'm sharing a lot of Information here) he's a trans boy with like... these are my guesses: (c-)ptsd, maybe DID or OSDD, panic disorder or generalized anxiety disorder, somewhere on the schizophrenia spectrum, bipolar i, bpd, narcissistic traits, and an eating disorder . he's... quite mentally Unwell lol (just like me real ^_^) and literally the story starts with him Cutting Himself. (interesting hook, azrael...) and then it's... him going to a grocery store and losing his shit . . . !

Anyway. i haven't planned super far ahead though i have a vague vision for the ending; i'm still working on outlining everything. but i know there will be possession and there may already have been possession ... :) . and i have the main like... harmful spirit character planned out in my head already. very excited to introduce em... but it'll be later in the story.

and the other characters um!! they're named florencia and andrew, they're kind of... major assholes at the start of the story, like andrew immediately misgenders soren in a weird like nice guy way HAHAHAHA... it's so bad, i hate both of them at the start, but they'll have development. Oh and florencia calls soren Slurs BYE um. florencia's definitely worse than andrew, andrew's just kinda.... stupid... and ignorant. but they're all depressed as hell. my goal with those two is to make their dynamic so ridiculous that they become tolerable for the comedy relief factor... i hope i can pull it off.

ALSO FLORENCIA IS GENDERFLUID which... is really funny to me, considering she CALLS SOREN SLURS AT THEIR FIRST INTRODUCTION AND HAS A LOT OF .. EXTERNALIZED .. TRANSPHOBIA .. yeah.

i will fix them (through a lot of hard work) i swear. they have to suffer a lot though ^_^ but poor soren (he is doomed by the narrative) . ..

3. Which character do you relate the most to?

Aaaaah, almost really hard to answer. I relate to most of the characters in the game to some degree. Grew up in a broken home like Alice, taken in & cared for people like Kara. I can go on and on but if there's a character I really, really relate to - It's probably Luther, the protector, guardian, however you want to refer to him. He really deserves more lines but I can firmly say I can relate to giving everything in my power to see those around me be safe. I won't type an essay about it because my response is long enough but I can really relate to Luther in many ways.

In a way, I've also really related to Hank lately but I don't want to trauma dump on here or make anyone worried.

14. How do you feel about Kara’s role in the game compared to her role in the Kara short?

Admitly - I'm torn. I actually love both. When I first saw the Kara Short (as a bonus in Beyond: Two Souls), I thought it was AMAZING. I remember my brother and I saying "I wish they'd turn that into a full game". Lmao, and obviously they did. However, I feel in-game Kara is faaaaaaaar different than the Kara in the short. The short is, well, short, and says what it needs to convey and shows Kara moreso as an android that just wants to live life free, whereas in the game, Kara does have those wants, but her main goal is to protect Alice. I love them both and her story in the game is very much packed with the angst I know & love... It's hard to choose which I like more but the Kara short is probably better written (let's face it, it's harder to have plot holes in a 7 minute video rather than a long video game with branching paths).

17. Favorite moments of each playable character?

Oh I have sooo many but I'll try to narrow it down to 2 for each character.

Markus: I love his introduction with Carl. I know the subtext is bad but the moment Markus does his painting, always swells my heart (I think it's partially the amazing soundtrack that gives me emotions). All of the different arts he makes are just...sooo good.

However, I also ADORE crossroads & I love Markus making his way down to blow up the ship while rescuing any androids can. Oh the music, the action, I love it lol.

Kara: There's so many moments I love with Kara. The river endings always have me sobbing my eyes out lol (even if both Alice & Kara make it). I do love the humanity in when you enter the checkpoint and the soldier hands Alice back one of her gloves. I always found it really heartwarming.

Also, Kara talking with Rose. The two just feel like really close friends and Rose cares for Alice on the same level Kara does, I feel. At the final checkpoint at the border, I love Kara finally being able to cry & getting one last hug from Rose before you hopefully make good choices. LOL

Connor: Oh man, hard to choose but I will ALWAYS laugh at Connor breaking into Hank's house via the window...then "Sumo, attack! ...good dog." It gets me every time. Connor convincing Hank to go to the Eden Club in the most sly and manipulative way - I love Russian Roulette as a chapter so much. The depressing subtext is just, *chef kiss*. I love angst & I also love humor.

Then, the chase in the nest. Watching Connor just gun it and run, doing stunts that are impossible for a human being. The music, the action, watching our RK800 dash at probably 15 or 25 mph. Idk, I love it. I'm a sucker for it everytime. I also feel obliged to mention the "I like dogs" & the interrogation sequence. I'm a sucker for interrogation scenes in movies, games, etc. (I also love his little chat sessions with Amanda).

18. Which NPC gave you the most feels?

It's hard to just pick one! Rose gives me mega feels when she brings up how hard it's been since her husband passed. Alice for - obvious reasons. Hank's self destruction, past, addiction, I've seen it irl, I've been it irl. I feel so sorry for him. North - just thinking about her history. It is sooooooooo hard not to feel bad for all the NPCs. I really can't pick one. D:

I want you to know that I have come back to this message three or four times unable to respond because I'm genuinely so touched that you would take the time to not only binge my boards and story content, but to message me with such kind words. It means more than I can articulate, so thank you so much. I'm so glad you're here!! ❤️

I've talked about this a little bit before, but honestly the best advice I can give is to (1) write what you love and (2) find the thing you enjoy the most about writing and start there. For me those go hand in hand because my favorite part of writing is developing the characters, so I start there and just expand from that point. I usually do this in a word/google doc, and it accidentally turns into an outline. As I develop my characters I will come up with scenarios, dialogue, memories, and plot points at random and jot those down in the doc. I really only ever go into the story knowing who my main character(s) is (are) and where/who/what I want them to be in the end. Everything in between are just stepping stones to get there. I hate the technical part of story-building; if I started with the traditional story-boarding and hammering at a rough draft chronologically from beginning to end I would lose momentum, get burnt out, and/or end up scrapping my story altogether due to discouragement. For me, starting with the characters kind of tricks me into creating a timeline and an outline over time. Your process might be different than someone else, it might look batshit crazy to someone else, but that's okay! Take your time, don't feel like you are on a strict timeline. Some writers write a book a year, some have 10 year gaps in their works. Do what works for you!

At the end of the day, if you love your characters and you have a theme or message (or multiple themes or messages) that mean something to you, writing will come easier. Sometimes I (and I'm sure other writers as well) can get bogged down by what we think people want to see or we worry that what we are creating isn't "enough" in some way or that it will be compared to other things or is something that has "already be done." Those fears only ever stop us from creating the art that we want to make, exactly how we want to make it. I would say that if you have a story and you have something you want to say, you should share it and be encouraged that it will mean something to someone. But hell, even if it only means something to you, that's okay too! I'd argue that creating any kind of art is a labor of love, it's giving a piece of ourselves to the world and saying "Here's a part of me, have at it." So just be sure that whatever you write, whatever you create, is something that you love. The rest will come naturally.

And, in my case, remembering to take my meds probably helps with the "focus" required of writing as well. Whatever works! 😂

Gods, that's an impossible question. I might have to say the Percy Jackson series, because those books are part of the reason I love fantasy so much, and they also were the reason for my mythology obsession, which was a big part of my life when I was younger. Another option is Six of Crows, because that duology is possibly my favorite books of all-time. My phone case is Six of Crows art, and so is my home screen, and I have a SoC t-shirt. But really, I don't have a great answer to this. Sorry!

💚Which book character do you relate to the most, and why?

ANOTHER IMPOSSIBLE QUESTION, V! Usually my favorite characters are ones that I don't relate to at all. Partly because I rarely relate to characters (which is probably partly due to my nearly-nonexistent empathy as well as the fact that people don't write books about people like me), and also partly because I don't want to read books about myself. I want to read books about interesting people having cool adventures. I don't need to relate to a character to find them compelling, especially since all of my favorite characters Have Issues, lmao. BUT I will say that the character that I've read who I relate to the most is probably the main character from On The Edge Of Gone by Corinne Duyvis. She's an autistic girl whose special interest is cats, and who dreams of being a veterinarian one day. And that was exactly me when I was a kid. I'm too selfish to ever do the things she did in the book, nor would I have that kind of compassion for her mother's actions the way she does, and I ended up realizing I can't ever be a veterinarian, and don't want to anyways, but I related to her experiences as an autistic girl quite a bit.

❤️Who is your all-time favorite author, and what makes their writing so special to you?

Either Rick Riordan or Leigh Bardugo, because they wrote books that will stick with me my entire life. I might have to go with Ms. Bardugo, though... Her books mean the world to me, and I own all of them. (Including boxed sets of both the Grisha Trilogy and SoC duology) I just love the way she makes all her characters feel so real and compelling. They all feel like people, and every single action they take feels like a decision that makes sense for them. In her books, no one ever acts out of character, not even for "plot reasons". They are also all so intensely unique, and have their own voices. I never feel like I'm reading the same person 4 times, unlike some other media. And all of them are shaped by their past experiences, rather than those just existing for "sob story" reasons. This is especially true in SoC/CK and KoS/Ro. (No offense to Ms. Bardugo, but I was never attached to either Alina or Mal, lmao. I just didn't care about them personally. Everyone else, though??? I would kill and die for them.)

📘Which classic book or author do you think everyone should read at least once in their lifetime, and why?

So, I don't read a lot of classics, largely because I read first and foremost for enjoyment and entertainment, and most classics don't appeal to the kind of literature I want to read. (There's not a lot of light-hearted/funny classics, nor many heists or dragons, lmao.) I understand why classics are important, and I always put my heart into analyzing them and understanding why they're considered classics when I read them, but in general, they're not really my thing. I will say that I have a large love for Shakespeare's Hamlet when I read it for class. At one point I had most of the "To be or not to be" soliloquy memorized, although now I only know a few lines. I also enjoyed Macbeth, but Hamlet is my favorite Shakespeare work. I just love Hamlet as a character so much. He's fascinating, and his story is very compelling and interesting. (Now you've got me thinking about the "Hamlet as a Paladin" post, and also the "If Shakespeare leads switched plays, there wouldn't be a story" post...)

ERM. i don't know if i've had one really. the autism and emotions difficulty and etc. there was this one girl i was sort of weirdly obsessed with in like third grade we were in the same reading group and we were both like really dramatic about purple being our favorite color i think i might've only liked purple cause she did but anyways i used to go on like doll divine and rinmaru and etc and make a bunch of random things for her and i would just save them but never show them to her because i was shy. i forgot about this until i found all the files again in like middle school like it was just a bunch of like dressup things named after her but i deleted all of them then because i was embarrassed LOL. i think this was a crush or perhaps close. i started elaborating more but it got so long sorry. you know me

idk though because i've had similar weird attachments to certain girls throughout the years but i like chose them like it was sort of half intentional like i would consciously compare girls in my head to try and think about who i should like the most it was like a list of girls. actually i used to consciously compare and make lists for guys and it was only just subconscious for girls until i learned you could be gay and then it was like deliberate for both. so i've done this for guys longer but i cannot lie i've never really gotten attached to a guy like i have a girl. i am a boyliker i swear the guys here just suck. the most recent girl i've done this to i never really got over(?) i feel like that's not the right way to say it but like i haven't grown out of the attachment fully yet i still want to talk to her but i'm shy and we didn't have any classes together this year :'). we had a practice dbq about trains a while ago and i doodled a train on the top of my paper and my teacher made a comment about how this girl also drew a train and also train tracks all along the top how cute.... and i had to talk to my science teacher in order to schedule both biology and chemistry for next year and she muttered to herself about this girl also asking for it maybe hopefully we'll have at least one science together next year... perhaps. idk if any of this is a crush though honestly cause like i don't think i really want to like. date her or anything. i just want to talk to her a little maybe hang out a bit perhaps. i do not know
