Ask Masterpost 10/12/2024
I will be answering all the BLOG RELATED asks I have received since opening my inbox here :). Going forward, this is how all asks will be answered (if they are not time dependent or something). I will make a new post with new asks every saturday.
my friends and i have been including youtube links in our submissions. is that helpful or annoying?
It's helpful! Thank you :)
-----
Have you gotten a lot of repeat submissions? Like, songs requested by multiple people? If so, what’s the most requests you’ve gotten for a single song? (You don’t need to say what song it is if it’s one you haven’t posted yet)
I don't remember the name, but I've received a song from 'In Stars and Time' about seven times now
-----
I submitted a song from an indie game listing the author as the composer, but then I realised that's not exactly true, as all the music in the game is from a public free gallery. because of that, there's no official upload on youtube. would that still be ok? p.s. thank you for your work, I've come to really love this blog and i look forward to the new polls every day 💕
I'm going to say no, even though the song is in a video game it's not technically intended for the video game itself. I'm curious as to what game this is though.
-----
@kaerran said: Speaking of which: I avoided submitting a game earlier because the only versions I found on a quick search were entire-soundtrack-as-one-video and I wanted to make things easier on you. Is it okay if I submit my mid-90s games even if they don't have nice convenient Youtube links?
Of course that's okay, I'll find a way to work around it even if I have to crop the specific song out myself.
-----
Say a song that's made for a game and is in said game gets an official release of an alternative version that *isn't* in a game. (Ex: an extended version or a version with vocals) I assume that the in-game version of the song is acceptable, while an alternative version that isn't in any games are not. Asking because I've already submitted a couple in-game versions of songs that have official extended/vocal versions that aren't in-game.
Both are acceptable, for two reasons:
It's an official, original release/remix, presumably on an official album, for a video game, so it is technically a form of VGM even if it's not in the video game itself
I wouldn't be allowed to post the official NieR remix albums if I excluded these types of songs
-----
@moonlight-fox said: Hey. Question for when you reopen submissions - For songs that have lyrics, do you want the name of the lead vocalist as well as the composer, or just the composer?
If you know both, feel free to include both! Specifying would help a ton as well. Submitting the artists is optional as I'll almost always go verify it myself but it is very much appreciated.
-----
are there any games with more notable soundtracks that you're surprised HAVEN'T been submitted yet (if any)?
As of writing this, I haven't seen a single song from Persona 5.
-----
Hi, love the blog! Is there any way you could tag similar series? Like, tagging all the soulsborne games with a from software tag, that sort of thing? If not, it’s cool, I would just find it useful. Have a great day, keep up the awesome work! <3
I started doing this when I saw this ask, I hope the way I've categorized things is good so far! If anyone has any suggestions for further categorization feel free to send them in my asks (within reason, lol)
-----
can you put the number of the song in the anonymized title? would help us keep track of which song we're listening to if we're also scrolling
I also started doing this as soon as I saw this ask, thank you for the excellent idea.
-----
Are songs from live-service video games that have ended service permitted? I'm guessing that the answer is yes because I think I saw Dragalia Lost here but I just wanted to be sure before preparing songs to submit next month. Also, I noticed in your pinned post that it still says "submissions are always allowed" - since the rules are different now, you might wanna change that just in case some ppl get confused :3
Yes, songs from live service games that have ended are permitted :) (provided I can access the songs somehow of course)
-----
are we allowed to submit official live versions of video game songs? does its availability online matter (like how the splatoon concerts were officially uploaded, but the kirby 30th anniversary concert was only livestreamed once and has to be pirated now)?
If it's on an official album, I'm going to say yes. So no to the kirby concert -- but if the splatoon songs are on an album, they're allowed.
-----
i cant find if youve answered something like this already, but whats the verdict for songs thatare in video games, but werent made for them? like for example the inclusion of pre-existing low roar songs in death stranding.
As of now, I'll only accept songs that were intentionally made to be included in the OST/album/music of a video game series -- so no preexisting non-VGM songs or anything like that.
-----
out of interest, how far along the submission queue has been posted? when were the most recent posted songs submitted?
3.8% of the entire submissions I have received have been posted. Everything in active vote right now was submitted in July, hence the need to severely restrict submissions...
-----
are we allowed to ask if certain games/series are in the queue? because i cannot for the life of me remember if i submitted something a while ago and dont want to accidentally send it again when submissions reopen ^_^;
You can DM me for this as to not publicly post any spoilers :')
-----
@disgustedorite said: Um, when were the most recent songs submitted? I submitted a batch a while back when submissions were open and there's been no sign of any of them...I hope Tumblr didn't eat it @_@
Tumblr may have eaten it, but it's probably just as likely that I got a million gazillion submissions ahead of you :')
-----
genuine question did someone submit the entire destiny franchise at once or is it that popular and i just never see anything about it
Yes, in the very early days of this blog -- about the tenth submission -- someone submitted ~30 destiny songs.
-----
Do you accept music from mods? I mean, obviously you dont accept anything right now, but ykwim
Yes, as long as it's an original composition/remix :)
-----
@woolooism said: has any song won with any of the "i don't like it" results? if no, which one has the biggest relative percentage of it?
I'll have to check, but I think (off the top of my head) the song with the most "I don't like it" results is the Ao Oni chase theme
Edit: Apparently, it is actually this song from Lisa the Joyful!
-----
@violetsquare111 said: i'm curious, do you know when exactly the currently-running polls were submitted? curious just how far off mine are lol. (but i would guess mine are still a few months out based on the insane number of submissions you shared. 3000... oh god...)
July, so... yours are far off :')
-----
Do songs created for an event in a community engine driven rhythm game (i.e. original songs for custom charts in a rhythm game/community driven game engine) count for submissions? If so, how will they be counted?
I think I'm going to need an example of this scenario because this seems REALLY highly specific, haha
-----
A suggestion. When a song has lyrics, use a video that shows the lyrics in the reveal post. Please and thank you.
I'll do my best, but these aren't always the easiest to find, and I try to use songs from official sources as much as possible to prevent the risk of the video getting copyright stricken off the playlist.
-----
@only-blogging-2-save-rock-n-roll said: Would you ever consider doing joke polls for April fools day? Stuff like those MIDI remakes of song from Franchise A in the style of Franchise B
Probably not, only because it's not an official remix. I may post funny songs depending on submissions.
-----
would you be willing to maybe make a tag for just the polls, even if they're already over? i like going through them all without knowing what game they're from and i also dont keep super on top of checking this blog for new polls. thanks!!
There is one! It's #closed vote :)
-----
@sparrow-va said: Hi! I've had the hare-brained idea of possibly making some Youtube vids of listening to & reacting/trying to identify songs from this blog starting from the oldest submissions for my channel (LaserBearCat Gaming), is that something you'd be okay with? Obvs we would credit & link your blog for the source of the tracks c:
Go right ahead!
-----
I noticed the rules about submission has changed to one song per period per person, which I can totally understand given the amount and when trying to keep a fair chance for everyone will this rule be applied retrospectively too? just wondering because I had been submitting more than one song and just would like to know if I'd need to submit them again one per month now if I would like them to be considered as a submission eventually Also thanks for running this blog it's become one of my favourites and I check it out almost daily
No, It's not going to be applied retroactively -- I don't even know if I'd be able to enforce that because the sheet doesn't record who submitted what (right now).

1, 5 and 15 for the music asks?
Sure thing!
1: A song you like with a color in the title
Another one, huh... Hmm... How about Rhapsody in Blue (George Gershwin)? It's one of my favorite songs of all time and I used to listen to it every night before bed. haha.
5: A song that needs to be played LOUD
Maybe not the kind of song you were expecting, but I think this is most true for me is Pink Martini's cover of Que Sera Sera. It starts out pretty quiet, but really builds as it goes. The part with the horn feels transcendent when it's really nice and loud.
For a more traditional answer, maybe Rivers in the Desert from the Persona 5 soundtrack. It's one of the boss songs and oh my god it'll amp you up. Sometimes I like to put it on at full blast when I'm trying to psych myself up or clean or both lmao.
15: A song that is a cover by another artist
Hmm... lots of these... Like a lot of these... I decided against standards that by definition are sung by a lot of people and went for more that are like. legit covers.
For now, I'll pick one I listen to a lot and one that's silly and I love a lot.
I'm Into Something Good (the bird and the bee) (made famous by Herman's Hermits)
I also really like of their cover of How Deep Is Your Love (originally by The Bee Gees)
I looove the bird and the bee, I've been a fan of theirs for many years, so I guess it's not surprising that I like their covers, too. They have a very breezy, sweet way of singing and I listen to it a lot while writing. (Especially You're A Cad. It unfortunately works for a lot of the pairings I love lmao.)
For a fun one... I mean, literally any of Brian David Gilbert's Halloween covers of disco songs. How can one choose between AAAH!BBA and Bee Dee Gee's Hee Bee Bee Gees? I listen to all of them constantly.
While Lay All Your Blood On Me and Stayin' Alive are both super catchy and have insane wordplay (whether you're a banshee or whether you're a jiangshi???), I do think Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight) is my overall favorite. The book!Frankenstein jokes are just too fucking good.

Pseudo Harem Reviews: Episode 1
I don't want to clutter my art blog with 12+ nerding out posts, so I'll be posting episode reviews here every week instead!
Animation
It’s a bit on the cheaper side, but that’s okay since the art style is very faithful and nice, even down to the slightly crooked mouths in some scenes- which I personally find a bit charming! Another change I like is adding a blue-grey tint to Rin’s hair to stop it from blending too much into other dark objects like her blouse!
I do wish that the animation got to be a bit higher quality at points. To list a similar show for comparison like Tomo, it at least had some dynamic animation for action shots and better lighting in the night scenes. At least showing some visual or audio cue for Rin’s switch in personas would help. Also I'm not sure I like how the personas are listed as stuff like "spoiled girl" instead of "Spoiled-Chan", "Spoiled Rin", "Sweet-girl" or anything to solidify their identities more. I can only hope a potential dub is able to figure out how to make it work!
Voice Acting
I’m not a longtime fan of Saori Hayami like some of the people who follow her in Spy X Family, Oregairu, and more, but I like the work she does here as Rin! I agree with the few people who say her voice is a biiiit too adult for a high schooler, but I at least like her voices for Cool-chan and Spoiled-chan. Her takes on Cheeky and Tsundere could be a bit more on the high-pitched side though. Still excited to hear more though!
Nobuhiko Omamoto as Eiji is nice too in one of the more subdued roles I’ve seen him in- he does a great job of capturing Eiji’s straightforward and goofy sides and you can feel why Rin likes him early on!
And I’m still crossing my fingers for a phenomenal dub too, which should hopefully get more new viewers onboard with this show! (PLEASE don’t be a bad dub…)
Music - OP and ED
So far nothing major to note in the soundtrack- just your standard highschool romcom style score. I will say I love both the OP and ED as songs- they’re great and I’ve already added what I can to my playlists! And I do hope we get the Rin and Eiji version of the opening down the line too (and maybe some extra surprises hopefully?)
It’s just a shame when the opening suffers from some of the cheapest animation in the whole show- it’s supposed to be the thing that hooks viewers into watching, but over half of it is just a bunch of still PNGs, barely showing the actual Pseudo Harem gimmick until the chorus.
At least the ED has cooler and more creative visuals with the anime-to-manga hybrid beginning, the rap verse from Rin, and better showing off all her personas (I find it a bit funny they’re trying to showcase every single one rather than the main 4-5 to entice new viewers more and maybe provide more contrast haha)
Pacing
And here we have the elephant in the room. I was so hyped for this series I didn’t even consider that the short disconnected nature of the series’ early chapters would lead to a very disjointed first few episodes.
If the show wanted to spend more effort on animation, they could have either rearranged the chapters so that the similar ones in the same settings got paired up into bigger scenes like how Squid Girl did it. If I could have everything my way, I would just extend the episodes with lots of original content, but I know that’s unrealistic.
If not, then short connecting scenes or establishing shots could help, or even interlude cards if you really want to save on budget. From what I’ve heard new viewers say, they all really liked the series concept, the characters, and their dynamic, but they were really put off by the pacing, assuming it would be this way for the whole show. And sadly, I can’t blame them for being disappointed since they don’t know the series will go into longer arcs and better-paced episodes as it goes on.
The choice to move their first meeting to the first scene was also very odd, as it shows why Eiji likes Rin, but creates a weird and unclear timeskip where she likes him by the Ch1 gym scene immediately after, and also kind of diffuses a bit of the tension on whether Eiji actually likes Rin or just the Pseudo Harem for the first 40 chapters or so.
I can only hope the show better arranges the scenes to keep the viewers’ attention from Episode 2 onwards!
Extras/Overall
I still had tons of fun with this pilot though! I do hope it shapes up a bit more in the animation and pacing departments, and I hope new viewers will give this show the usual 3-episodes chance at the very least! This is still my most anticipated anime of 2024 and I can’t wait for more!

Today I'm gonna play: Persona 3 Portable (PSP)
Just going to note that it's been 4 years since I last played this game so I have to incorporate my thoughts back then and now, as I've just finished the game. I know I said I have an RPG burnout previously, but I've been playing this one in between my other games. Anyways, long anecdote incoming!!
Knowing about this series' existence is a long story. When I was a kid, I remember browsing the RPG page of Wikipedia because I was a fan of Cloud from Final Fantasy 7, so I got to learn the genre that brought out all these fantastic characters with deep stories. I strongly remember this picture, where the protagonist is sitting on a desk and using the computer ''all day''. I didn't think much of it back then, but the picture was pretty prominent to me. And although there's a running joke that Persona players don't know or play their origin series, it was the opposite for me. I knew Shin Megami Tensei (SMT) first before Persona, through their MMORPG SMT: Imagine. I never got far with the game but I also loved MMORPGs too at the time. Fast forward years later where I'm studying for my final exams in high school, I often listened to music while writing my notes and doing past papers. Lo-Fi, City Pop and wave genres were growing at the time and they were useful for my studies. But I kept seeing this "Emotional Persona Music Mix (Study/Work)" playlist pop up in my recommendations, and I thought ''Ugh, fine. I'll play this so I can get rid of it.''. (Un)surprising to say, the soundtrack of this series slaps. Lots of good melodies to study to, but what caught my attention the most was the rainy version of Beneath The Mask. I loved the song SO much, that this was what convinced me to try the series. I wanted to try Persona 5, but I didn't have a PS3. My only option was to play Persona 3 Portable (P3P) on the PSP. With all of this occurring during exam season, I thought ''Hm, I'll just try this game out for a bit, and then I'll play after my exams.''. I was wrong. So. So. Wrong.
Somehow, I ended up spending my mornings until 10AM (my study time) just grinding and exploring what this game had to offer WHILE I had exams that literally played a role in what universities I could apply to. Needless to say, I aced those exams. So, playing Persona/listening to their OSTs = good grades?? However, at some point I reached near the endgame (where a certain male character joins the school), and the Persona 3 and 5 Dancing games were being revealed. I saw comments about ''Door-kun'' and ''Blue Jesus'' jokes and I thought ''Huh? Did I miss a joke in the game? Let me search them up.''. To this day I regret ever doing that. Little did I know that those jokes were actually gigantic spoilers... and that completely broke my interest in continuing forward. Life just felt meaningless (joking). To those who intend to play the any of the Persona 3 versions or the remake, PLEASE don't google what those terms are. I kept trying to force myself to play, but it didn't work. Until very recently when I started listening to the OST again, but this time the ones from the female protagonist (FemC), whom I never played. Somehow her tracks have this really weird sense of nostalgia of simpler, younger days... and that yet again, has convinced me to give the game another chance, but through the female route this time to catch up on the story, cause I forgot.
Ok! Anecdote done.
To this day, I'm not sure what exactly has captured my heart when it comes to Persona 3. I have recently tried Persona 5 Royal (P5R) and 4 Golden (P4G). But I couldn't stick with them after two bosses, because those two games definitely have better gameplay (especially 5), and admittedly character dynamics (in regards to 4). I deduced that Shuffle Time acts as a gambling mechanic that hooked me into constantly wanting EXP, weapons and money, as well as the urge to get to the top asap. I did feel the latter with 5 in a way when it came to exploring the palaces in 1-2 days. But if Persona was just about combat, I don't think I'd play this game as much as I actually am, especially in endgame as I grinded to get everything in preparation for the final boss. But rather, it's this unique feature of being able to live a proper double life as a regular person during the day (or high school student to be exact), and fighting creatures at night. It's the stuff you'd see as premises in cartoons, except you actually get to immerse yourself in this kind of life, which turns out to be very fun, and quite emotional too! You get to meet characters from all walks of life, hearing out their stories and problems, and creating potentially unbreakable bonds with them. And these aren't just filler like what other games typically do with NPCs, they actually influence your EXP bonus when you create new personas. Everything you do in the game has to be carefully planned, yet nothing feels like it's a waste of time. For a game that's really long, I feel it actually respects my time.
But, there is a disconnect that I've felt after catching up to the story via FemC and then moving to my original save file with the protagonist (will refer as MC). FemC's dialogue choices and relationships feel so much more natural than MC. I do recall liking Junpei, Ken, and Yukari when I first played, but that's because they generally have more screentime with MC as they're classmates. I even find NPCs like Maiko and Kenji memorable (but I don't remember the latter's story). But with FemC on the other hand, I started to love everyone I met! It felt like there were genuine bonds being made with the FemC. Going back to MC's save was a mental shock to be honest. His responses are more deadpan, which fits him. But the one thing that annoyed me the most was the forced romances in the game, which I completely forgot about. Focusing on social links ended up feeling like a harem that I never asked for. Generally speaking for both routes I find that the game's narrative tends to suffer with typical anime tropes that can be considered very weird to non-anime fans. Stuff like peeping on girls or thirsting for them, sticking to just one interest and making it their whole personality, odd romances involving age differences, constantly bullying the guy that has the ''dumb'' trope, and so on. Although I do understand this boils down to having a target audience as well as cultural differences. Luckily the game deals the serious parts quite well, and handles its recurring theme quite beautifully. To write about death is hard, because generally for people it is a hard thing to accept, and for a number of people, they see it as an answer to an end. Somehow this game has tackled both sides of fearing and wanting death, and yet coming to a beautiful conclusion that life is worth living, whether you feel it has a meaning or not. Because one's life will always mean something to someone, or something, in some way.
Combat-wise, I hear that Persona 3 is the most hated. At least when it comes to 3-5. People aren't really wrong about that, it is a very dated system that I would not like to see in a modern game. But I didn't find it as bad as what people said, probably because most of the changes occurred in this version, such as controlling party members. It is definitely grindy and repetitive, as you go through more than 200 randomly generated dungeon floors that look quite alike or not too striking, with only the endgame floors getting my attention. But like I said above, the game does reward you handsomely with items, EXP, and money through the use of Shuffle Time, so that made my entire experience bearable for me. I have heard that P3 (original and FES aka enhanced version) also has the worst shuffle time compared to 4 and I took a look at the footage, and I think I agree. Having cards shuffled very randomly while hiding them, to the extent that the player loses agency can cause a great deal of frustration. But it's good to see that Atlus takes feedback into consideration with their future titles.
In terms of music, it's great. Pretty much every track in the game is at least enjoyable, although I can't really gel with Deep Breath (but I like the remixes), it's just not my type. But it fits well as a boss theme, as well as the whole setting, so I give it credit for that. But they feel somewhat timeless, and I see myself reminiscing to these tracks for years to come (as I have been for the past 4 years). Another thing I really liked is the UI design. Although I was drawn to P5 for looking so stylish, Atlus really managed to make minimalism do the same. It's probably my favourite type of design in all of video games. Even though much of the presentation (and cutscenes) have been stripped down for this version, I still enjoyed seeing all the transitions and elements packed into a portable device.
The character designs does have that feel from the 2000s, especially with the emo cut the protagonist has. There's a nice use of contrasting colours with most of the female main cast that are potential love interests, while the male main cast stick a little closer to the blueness of the MC. It could be my bias for this being an old game, as I don't see these designs being as accommodating to everyone at this age in comparison to the series' latest entry. But I do hope that people will enjoy them anyways with the remake.
Phew, this was a long one! This game has really touched me overall and I think it's a game that I'll think about from time to time, even with the gripes I have. I did try 4 and 5 in between my 4 year gap, but the one I ended up gravitating to was this, and I'm glad it's the first I played and the first I finished. If this is how 4 and 5 also handle their respective themes, I may give them another try in the future! I will be checking FES' extended epilogue in the meantime.
Terms used exclusively in the game: Shuffle Time - An RNG mechanic involving the use of shuffling cards that can grant equipment, money, EXP, and other things. Social Links - A relationship system that acts as side stories for characters in the game, granting you an additional EXP bonus related to combat.

3. Favorite Childhood Game...Well, I don't really deal in favorites cause my mind is perpetually in flux, but if we're talking EARLY childhood I'll throw a dart and go with the two games I loved so much that many years later I went out of my way to track down new copies so I could play them again: WarioWorld and The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning (both on GC). And I don't care what apparently every other person on the planet says, that second one was and having played it again recently STILL IS amazing.
12. Most bizarre game I've played...again, 2 picks, one if we're talking bizarre in a positive "unique" sense, one if we're talking in a negative "wtf is this crap" sense. The latter is White Knight Chronicles, a PS3 exclusive by Japan Studio (as per with Sony Exclusives) and Level 5 (yes, THAT Level 5, the Professor Layton people) that I found in a bargain bin for 5 dollars in 2020. Story and visual wise it is one of the most generic fantasy games I have EVER played, something I can comfortably say even though it's main selling point is what are essentially Gundam Personas. How did they mess that godly idea up you ask? It's actually really simple, and why I consider it so bizarre: Make the gameplay some unholy combination of Korean MMORPG and Final Fantasy 13. It boasts over 100 hours of stuff and I believe it, in that I believe there's about 5 times that amount of grinding and back and forth slow ass walking across big open areas that are blatantly reused MMO assets. The game launched with a heavy multiplayer element but it's still clearly a solo story driven game.
In short, it's the kind of game where I look at it and go "how in god's name did anyone think this was going to work?" because nothing about it makes sense on any level without the context of current trends to justify it (which is how FF13 happened as well but that had the excuse of being an oversaturated IP trying desperately to find a new hook) and yet they went into it with this big idea for it to be a massive franchise, partnering with Atlus to release soundtracks and audio tapes, wanting a manga, and releasing two different sequel. The term "Single Player MMO" gets wrongly thrown around a lot. Kingdoms of Amalur is a good example, calling that a single player MMO is basically like calling Skyrim one (another game it's wrongly compared to) or Darksiders 2 one. WKC, now THAT is a single player MMO, and it's as bizarre and miserably tedious an existence as it sounds.
As for the positive example, it's the fittingly titled The Infectious Madness of Dr. Dekker for which the premise alone will explain why I pick it: It's a murder mystery FMV Therapy-em-up set in the UK with you as the psychiatrist typing in questions (with responses based on autodetected keywords) to ask your incredibly varied patients about the things they were seeing the eponymous Doctor for. I won't say anything beyond the fact it has supernatural thriller elements, it's a Clue style mystery where each run has a randomly assigned culprit and multiple endings, and that as someone big on proper portrayal of mental illness I don't find any of it to be reductive let alone harmful. The acting strikes a balance of genuine and incredibly hammy in the best way, and between such acting and the supernatural elements it's made very clear that this isn't meant to be anything rooted in actual mental illness. Oh and you should absolutely play it, that too. It's only $9 on Steam which is borderline robbery. It's also on console, running $12 on PS4, XBOX, and Switch, although I can only vouch for performance on Steam and PS4.
20. Favorite Publisher/Developer...Well the only publisher I trust is a self-publisher, firstly, and secondly I've learned many a time the hard way corporations are not people and should never be treated as such let alone emotionally attached to in such a way. Although there's a 50/50 chance that question is actually meant to be taken as "what publisher has your favorite overall output". Thankfully either way the answer is Supergiant Games, who along with Thunder Lotus Games are basically the only two non-solo developers left who haven't stabbed my past love of them in the back or met a terrible Tencent/trend chasing fate (Fucking RIP Arkane and Platinum). I've been following both of them ever since their first titles, in fact I own 5 copies of Bastion (8 if we count those I've given away to my friends). Needless to say, seeing Hades and Spiritfarer reach the levels of acclaim they deserve has damn near brought tears to my face.

my first experience with toby fox is undertale and it just. it blew me away lol yes, definitely one of the greatest creators out there. madlad.
really??? lmao i totally read that wrongly then 🤣 i have hear about nier - saw the gameplay one time and the combat looks difficult slfjslfk i heard the story is good tho!
game recs... stardew valley is probably my all time favorite, i always come back to it every now and then. the tales series is good too but they will take a lot of your free time lol oh and persona 5 is an iconic game! love the style and music <3
i.... probably will lol but that's okay. not the worst thing that happened to me at work, i'll tough it out :D
you'd be surprised!! once you get the hang of it during the first scene it becomes very easy. the pods are also a big help – half of the time i'd just go in, pods blazing, and hitting the remaining machines with my sword. fun times lmao
i've never heard of the tales series but i'll look into it~ my friend has stardew valley, so i'll probably ask if i can use their account again to check it out.
funny you mention P5 because i got like, halfway through the game on my friend's account before the royal version went on a sale in my country and i managed to buy it. i haven't picked it back up yet, but i am curious to how the game goes looool somehow the universe has been merciful enough to not give me spoilers 😭 the soundtrack is really really good, i miss vibing to it jdbsjsj what else did you like about it??
also, P5 is having a collab with nier reincarnation rn. if i hadn't spent all my gems trying (and failing) to get this one skin for a character i'd def be trying to summon joker 😂
