A/N I'm so sorry for being so unorganised I thought something like this would be easy but I realised that it takes a ridiculous amount of planning so next time when I do an event like this I'll plan it for a couple more weeks in advance, but at least I can learn from this mistake. Summary Tony is a bit of a Grinch and you plan to change it

Christmas wasn’t Tony’s favourite time of year, if anything he hated it. It wasn’t hard to understand since he had spent many years alone as each day bled into another with the drink, drugs and women.

However, you were determined to get Tony into the Christmas spirit this year. The first step of your plan was to take him shopping for decorations.

“Come on Tony, stop being such a grinch, we're going shopping whether you like it or not,” you told him with your arms crossed.

“I can just get F.R.I.D.A.Y to order them for us,” he retorted with a pout on his face.

You walked over to him and kissed his pouty lips, “It will be fun babe, I promise,” you gave him the sweetest smile you could conjure.

“Fine, only because I love you,” he responded, kissing you again.

“And I love you too,” you grabbed his hand and practically dragged him out the door.

“What do you think of these baubles?” you asked Tony.

“They look good, they’ll go with the tree,” he replied.

Tony wasn’t ready to admit it, but he had started getting into the Christmas spirit. He was starting to enjoy this shopping spree that he almost didn’t join you on.

“We’ll get these then,” you put them in the basket with a smile on your face.

You noticed Tony’s new interest in the decorations which was unexpected but made you happy.

“I think that’s it for this shop,” you walked over to the till and Tony emptied the basket.

Two hours of shopping later, you were back home with countless bags spread across the living room. 

“Please can you help me decorate?” you asked Tony.

You walked over to him and sat in his lap, “Pleeeease.”

Tony rolled his eyes, “You owe me,” he told you with a playful smirk.

You smiled and grabbed his hand. You took him over to the tree you put up in the corner of the living room and handed Tony a box of baubles.

“Put them anywhere you think it looks good,” you told him.

He raised his eyebrow, “really?”

“Yeah. I’m aware that I’m a perfectionist on everything else but I promise decorating the tree is supposed to be fun, not perfect.”

You both took baubles out of the box and put them on the branches. Around 40 minutes -and a lot of messing around- you were finished. 

“Oh shit,” you exclaimed.

“What?” Tony asked, concerned.

“We forgot to put the lights on the tree.”

Tony looked at the tree and then at the lights on the floor, “I could still get them on, I’ll just have to be careful,” With that, Tony picked up the string of lights and carefully put them around the tree.

Once he was finished, he pulled back to look at the tree but had knocked five baubles off in doing so.

“Shit!” he shouted which made you laugh, “It’s not funny,” he told you whilst trying to hold in his laugh.

“I think it looks amazing babe,” you said.

“Me too, but I’m tired. We can finish decorating tomorrow, ” Tony feinforced this with the fakest yawn you've ever seen.

“Seems like it,” you grabbed the other decorations and put them in a box ready for the next day. 

Then, Tony got onto the couch and started to flick through the channels on the tv before deciding to look through Netflix.

You walked over to Tony and smiled at his concentrated face.

He looked up at you and mentioned with a smirk on his face, “You owe me still.”

“What do I owe you Tones?” you didn’t know what answer to expect since Tony was so unpredictable.

“You owe me cuddles on the couch while we watch the Grinch,” he said, grabbing a blanket and shuffling back on the couch.

“One, you are the Grinch and two, that sounds fair,” you replied, smiling and getting onto the couch. Tony just rolled his eyes in response.

You shuffled back so Tony was spooning you and his chin was resting on your head. He threw the blanket over you and kissed your head. You both stayed like that until you fell asleep.

Hello completely random anon whose identity will forever be a mystery!

See, with the way you've phrased this, you've actually opened yourself up to a few options. I'll tell you a little bit about each one and you can tell me which one you want to learn more about first.

Currently unnamed G/T Alenoaheather

Definitely the most detailed AU of the bunch. It's got backstories and character arcs for each of the three. Probably the best way to describe it is Urban fantasy since none of them are (completely) human, but they pretty much live in a modern setting.

It does get dark at times. Think Beastars-adjacent in terms of vibes. Including the murder bits. But it's mostly self-defense or being forced into it, so take that as you will. I will say that it's nowhere near the levels of toxic relationships that something like the Sea Monster AU has. And they do actually improve as people. These three still get drama mind you, but it's from keeping secrets rather than being genuinely manipulative. ...Well. Too manipulative. It does have Alejandro and Heather in it. But it's got fluff moments because fluffy giant/tiny dynamics are precious and must be preserved at all costs.

It's got Alejandro who's a giant-shifter able to grow even larger than most other giant-shifters thank to his Burromuerto heritage. The Burromuertos are a completely upstanding giant-shifter family and definitely don't have any incredibly fucked up family traditions they expect Alejandro to continue.

Noah's a were-mongoose. Werefolk come in a large variety, though mongoose is on the far more uncommon side. Unlike most werefolk, this kid genius actually figured out a way to not completely give into his instincts during full moons. This has absolutely no negative repercussions on his wellbeing.

Heather who's a giant-shifter hybrid unable to grow thanks to her human heritage from her father's side. She's the only one of her siblings unable to grow. She definitely doesn't have a complex about this. But she has managed to find her own way of making herself just as much of a physical threat as her two boyfriends. (Aka the day I take away from Heather's inherent badassery is the day I die.)

Serial Killer AU

It's exactly what it sounds like. With exactly the vibes the name implies. Definitely the darker one. They're just a thriving villain throuple with a body count. It's also mostly Noah-focused so far as I haven't figured out Alejandro or Heather's motivations.

Noah stumbles across a body of a serial killer spree, only to be the first to realize that one serial killer is actually two. Curiosity leads him to investigate...but not for the reasons you'd think.

The Royal Court AU

Originally named The Lords In Black AU because it was originally inspired by me watching an animatic of The Summoning from Nerdy Prudes Must Die. Then it evolved into something far beyond that where the name doesn't seem quite right anymore.

It's got Alenoaheather as the worst teens at school and unashamed about it. ...Until Alejandro goes missing, and nobody else really seems to care. Leaving Heather and Noah to investigate and try their best not to be next.

They fail, but hey, at least they get cool eldritch powers out of it!

This AUs also dark because the premise is them being kidnapped to be used as sacrifices. And it's got plenty of eldritch horror in it. The posts for it are scattered because they ended up going into two separate reblog chains with @total-drama-brainrot and @ur-local-brown-multifandomist. If you look up 'lords in black au' on my blog you should be able to find most of it. I'm going to just centralize it for ease of organization one day. It'll just be. You know. Effort.

Fake Dating Alenoaheather AU

This one's a collab AU between me and @total-drama-brainrot, a person you have never met because you are a completely anonymous anon. Noah gets caught in between Heather and Alejandro's attempts to make the other jealous by each making him pretend to be their boyfriend. Shenanigans and drama ensue. The posts for this are also scattered and tagged on both our blogs, and one day we might make a fic about it. For now, there actually is someone already making a fic about it that you can feel free to read!

I still can't believe two different people decided to start making fic of AUs I helped create. It's wild, and I'm incredibly touched.

I honestly couldn't tell you exactly why my brain works the way it does. It just decided that the two canon villains and one-villain coded teenager deserve to be at least a little feral. As a treat.

Maybe one day I'll have an AU with them that's not so dark. That day will be a surprise to us all.

Another year is over so it's time for a look back at what was happening on this blog! I haven't really been around, it was just my queue, and maybe that's one reason why I looked at my archive and went "huh" at everything. I don't remember much. The other reason why this year probably went poof in my head is because I was dealing with some mental health stuff lol. I say lol but it wasn't actually very lol but I'm doing better now and 2024...is looking promising for now.

We're in Bridgeport and Sawyer is living his best life. You know, girlfriends, boyfriends, being turned into a vampire, giving birth to three little vampires, threatening to sell his enemies' organs on the black market...best life indeed.

Okay I am now seeing that "talking more" about every month will be impossible since I actually don't have much recollection of 2023 lmao

March

Sawyer and Erin are at the best point of their relationship, but we left them alone for a bit and went back to NSB. Pastel just moved to Strangerville and got a...rather strange roommate.

April

The rather strange roommate becomes Pastel's rather strange wife. I love these two so much. We also say hello to Moss -- and also to Ross, who returns from...god knows where. I mean yeah, there was the ts3 Ross, but technically they're two different people. Parallel universes and stuff.

May

Thea is born and strange wife Jesse gets even stranger. That whole "merging with the mother plant" thing was kinda weird but I really enjoyed it. Idk what I was on but it was fun. And then, before returning to the lepacy, I posted my Cottage Living screenshots! ...which were really just me going "uwu what does this do" on every possible Wicked Whims option.

...and I went from posting weird WW Ross stuff to posting wholesome Growing Together Ross stuff. If that gave you a whiplash, I am sorry, but imagine what it must be like for me. August was...welp 💀 I was at the grippy socks hospital for most of that month, 10/10 would recommend, but my queue ran out while I was there so I just reblogged some old stuff for a few weeks.

September is just lepacy month. Cornelia and Archer are happy, they get married, they get more children...yeah. Good wholesome Generations times all around. It's not like they're gonna get divorced later or anything.

October

The twins are kind of chaotic, one of them turns into a ghost, both then bring their cursed imaginary friends to life...and the final child of Archer and Cornelia is born.

November

I loved running into Sawyer at the grocery store all the time. Weird vampire alleged killer grandpa behavior suits him. Dorothea goes away to a boarding school, hates it there and instantly comes back. Relatable. Oh and midlife crisis hits Archer hard.

December

And we're in December! Dorothea enters her horsegirl era and finds herself a girlfriend...and we'll continue that in 2024!

What's in store for the new year besides the lepacy? Well, Not So Berry will be making a return (and HOPEFULLY we'll finally get to the end. we need to). There's a story I want to do in the NSB universe, if you know you know. Before we dive into the next lepacy generation, I'm thinking of another BC with the gen 7 heir...oh and Marika's Black Widow. Shoot and I'm starting an irl job in January. Yeah no we're not doing all this in 2024, don't count on it 💀 But I'll try.

It's been a bit silent on my end in terms of interacting with folks, showing up to streams that friends do, posting art - hell, even just going on reblog sprees on here. I've just been running my Queue.

Well, I will simply be honest - depression and anxiety had me in an iron grip for the past months. I'm doing better now for various reasons, but as always I give a big shout-out to my friends. I wouldn't know what to do without them in my life. <3

But also: if everything works out, I will soon move to a new place! It's a lovely little apartment with a balcony near a big forest.

I haven't really talked about the things that have been going on with my current landlord, but it has gotten to the point where I don't feel save in these walls. There is only so much I can take. And breaking my outdoor plant pots & killing some of my plants on purpose was the last straw.

I look forward to never again having to worry about that, among other things.

Once the move and everything surrounding it is over, you know I'll be more active on here as well. Honestly, I can see myself drawing even more than I already do in private, simply because I'll be in a place that feels safe, finally. :>

Rules and brief about!

Welcome! This is a rp blog for ygo characters. Probably going to just stick with mostly Yami Bakura right now. But I might add others later.

Here are some general things you should know:

- I am very new to rp still. And still not super familiar with Tumblr. Still a lot of things I don't know or have never done before, so please keep this in mind

- It almost feels like my first time ever encountering ygo.

I've just picked up the manga for the 1st time about three days ago too.

- I am an adult and would prefer characters and muns to be 18+. No nsfw stuff with minors

- I really do try to read and remember everyone's rules, but sometimes I forget my own rules, so please forgive me if I forget something

- On that note, I am pretty forgetful, in general. I try to jot down notes to help with this, but there is a chance I may forget an ic interaction

- Try to give me about a week before giving me a reminder, though.

- I am VEEERY slow a lot of the time. Like, many days, maybe a week, slow. Sometimes more than a week. Not always, but just giving you a heads up.

- I try not to spam notifs or dash, but, it might happen, occasionally. I will always reblog from the source, unless the mun has made it explicitly clear that they actually prefer it be from them or don't care either way or, for some reason, I can't get to the source.

- I am kind of the exact opposite of most people, it seems. I actually would LOVE it if you went on a like spree. And I actually prefer it if you reblogged memes from me (as long as we have spoken at least once). And dash spam almost never bothers me. You can also come into my ims, that doesn't really bother me either.

- I'm not the best at # tagging stuff. I haven't really got a system going yet

- I follow #omi-nor and #ominor, but I don't look at tags very often

- Please don't be afraid to @ me for dash games, lmao. I usually love those. May not always do them, but yeah.

- I am a very heavy cell phone user, but, so far, I don't think I've run into trouble because of this. Trimming is the only big thing I have doubts about still right now.

- Rules could change. I tried my best to give some solid info here, but it could change. I'll probably make a post if there is a change?

(I really hope I'm not forgetting something because I am writing this from memory.)

- I am pretty anxious about stuff. I'm trying not to be, but it's hard.

Like, sometimes I look at a meme and there's a part of me that wants to do it, but there's also a little pang of anxiety a lot of the time. Lol, I dunno, man..

- I may not answer every ask or do everything thing. And I'm trying to get better at sometimes saying no to things. But I don't want people to get discouraged about interacting, either, lol.

I also try not to pressure other people and a lot of stuff coming from me doesn't have a whole lot of expectation attached to it. (Like, if I @ you in a dash game, for example)

- One important thing about communication: I always feel like I'm in a tug of war of trying not to talk too much to people because I'm worried I'm bothering them just a bit and then realizing I may not be talking enough, so I'm basically a stranger to them.

- "Plot something out" kinda scares me a bit, cause all the rp I've ever done - I think - was just off the cuff. Maybe it's not as scary as it sounds and maybe I've technically already plotted without knowing it. But yeah.

- I might need to take 2 or 3 weeks off from time to time. Just giving you a heads up. I'll try to say something.

- Going by Rainy for mun name. It just kinda stuck, lol.

- It's very easy for me to feel a bit overwhelmed. A part of me hates to do this, but I may need to temporarily shut down my ask box and not accept @s or #s for a bit if I feel like I have too much to do. I may need to make a very short ooc post just to let people know?

- I'm going to say, yes, all my memes have no expiration date, though.

- On a similar note, I think it's very possible I will go through your posts and send in stuff from a very long while back, in some cases. I usually assume there is no expiration date for other people's memes, but I usually try to ask first. But if there is, please feel free to ignore.

- I may or may not use icons

- If I see a reply to a thread and I am super tired, I won't read it until I've slept long enough for me to feel better (which could be a long time). I feel like being tired while reading really distorts things, so I like to only read it after I've gotten some sleep.

Honestly, the same is usually true for even ooc conversation. I just don't do well when I'm sleep deprived and sometimes I will just pass out for, like, 12 hours. (I LOVE it when this happens, though. I feel great afterwards.)

***ABOUT YAMI BAKURA***

My Yami Bakura is, right now, based off of anime English dub canon, for the most part. But now that I have the manga, it might slowly start to change a bit. Not sure.

I kinda wanted to try Ryo, but I haven't found Ryo in the English dub to be very inspiring, so far. A lot of his screen time was him just kinda flatly explaining the duels. Poor Ryo. You see glimpses of an actual character, at times, but it's rough, man.

I was debating keeping Ryo or not, but just to avoid confusion, I'm gonna wait to see what the manga has to offer.

Can I lastly just say? I really like the ygo rpc so far.

Work is slow right now, so I'm trying to be productive by working on a bunch of different things. Mostly my portfolio (including more Beauty and the Beast stuff), but also the next chapter of my fic, and sketching out the rest of my redesigns and comic pages.

So anyway, I might not post anything for a bit. I know Tumblr isn't like other social media where I have to keep updating people, but I thought it'd be nice to let you know anyways :D Everyone's been real lovely so far and I'm very excited for what I'm currently working on, so I felt like sharing this much.

Hey totally understandable if you don’t want to and I hope I don’t come off as rude, but whenever you go on those sprees of reblogging a post a lot, would you be willing to tag it so that people can filter the tag out if they want? The amount of reblogs overwhelms me a bit and makes my feed unusable. Don’t feel obligated to do so for the sake of one person, though! Just thought I might ask :)
