no guys it's so weirdly surreal to finally get a job again and especially by chance like this ?? and just when i was complaining abt being unemployed the other day ?? right place right time <333 i rly got lucky w this one

sure it's seeming more of a casual position (and i'm gonna be working a LONG day on monday), but i'm getting more experience !! and although i'm terrible at customer service, which is sumn it defo looks like i'll be doing, at least i'll be learning how to be better at it ! and my friend is my employer/co-worker, so then at least i feel more comfortable doing sumn so out of my depth ?

no joke this was such a strike of good luck, this is so encouraging. this may mean i have less time on my hands to work on projects, but i'm okay with that. i finally won't be a disappointment and won't have to tell everyone i did basically nothing all year

This was my first simblr challenge and boy did I challenge myself lmao 😅😭but I had a more fun time than I thought I would dressing my sims based on something that made me think a bit more than usual. I'd like to try more in between regular gameplay, it's a great way to open yourself creatively and also promote engagement within the sims community. I saw some really awesome sims for the DTI challenge that made me more inspired so congrats to the other simmers who participated!

Everyone somehow managed to fit in Blitz's van. They all got out and stretched since it was so cramped in there.

Blitz walked over to Stolas, "Now, remember: this is work and work only. Me and my crew are not here to satisfy your perverted bird needs, alright?"

Octavia tried to get her dad's attention but Blitz interrupted her. "If you try fuckin' my little ass and make Y/n watch in that park, I swear to--"

"Stop staring." He tossed the cup. "Now let's go protect this horny owl."

The two walked with Stolas and his daughter. Blitz had his gun ready while you were walking in front of the royal family.

Should've brought my broom. You laughed to yourself.

"It's quite thrilling to see you two on the job. Especially you Blitzy~"

"Weapons turns me on." He whispered to Blitz, but you and Octavia could hear him.

Stolas gasped, "Look Via! You used to cry such tears of joy at this show!"

Annoyed, Blitz shoots the imps that was trying to take him and he carried Stolas inside the tent. You were in front of Octavia to "protect" her since you have no idea on what you're doing.

Blitz groaned as he saw Robo Fizz enter onto the stage, but you were smiling ear to ear.

"Why do you look so eager?"

"I haven't seen him since...my addiction got bad." You whispered.

"That's not him, you do know that right? Did the meth make your brain smooth?"

"Shut the fuck up Blitz." You gritted through your teeth. "I know it's not him, but...he was like a brother to me." You frowned.

Blitz was going to bring it up again about your past addiction because he's upset and got hurt by you. He knows that you know this, but for some reason he wants to keep reminding you even though it hurts him to do so, but he doesn't know that he's indeed hurting you.

"Oh how delightful!" Stolas clapped at the end of the song.

Another imp tried to stab Stolas, but Blitz quickly shot him.

"Oh, my! What aim you have, Blitzy!" He flirted.

"Ugh! I can't do this anymore!" Octavia shouted before running away, Stolas followed her and kept calling her name.

You were feeling weird about this situationship although you agreed to partake in Blitz and Stolas' fucking, but it seems as if Stolas is liking Blitz more. You're actually fine by that, but you can't keep your head around it. You've been best friends with Blitz for the longest time and even grew up with each other. You left him for your own selfish desires, haven't called him/checked up on him since the days before the fire. Then 15 years later you're living with him, as well as having to fuck an owl prince.

You snapped back into reality whenever you saw Blitz shooting Robo Fizz.

"Oohoohoo! Someone's salty! Real or not, though, people lo-o-ove me! Does anybody love you... Blitzo?"

You looked at him, waiting on his answer.

"No. But, I'm really good with guns now. Dance, bitch!"

You knew that was going to be the answer. You huffed then abruptly got up and left the tent, dying to get your hands onto some stimulants.

A loud explosion was heard as you felt heat rising. You quickly turned your head. "Oh shit."

The fire spread to all corners of the park. "Blitz!" You shouted out of fear and not out of anger this time.

You saw Blitz and Robo Fizz fighting and relaxed a bit before shrugging. I'm sure he can handle this on his own.

You started walking towards the van to drive it a tad bit further away so it won't get caught on fire. Instead of leaving, you just stayed in his van, rummaging through the trash and looking in the dash board.

"Come on Blitz...you gotta have something."

You found a wadded up piece of paper in his dashboard before unfolding it and slouched in the drivers seat.

It was a poorly drawn drawing you gave to him whenever you first joined the circus. You drew Blitz on a tight rope that was holding you up with one hand. The words at the top was written in crayon and said "Best frens 4 ever!"

Tears welded in your eyes. "He still kept it?" The van doors abruptly opened.

"Drive!" Blitz yelled as he got in the passenger seat. Moxxie and Millie quickly jumped in the back and slammed the doors shut.

"Where's Stolas and Via?"

"Going to some store I said drive, bitch drive!"

You had been begging for a pet since you began living with the two men. Eddie had a good argument -- "We can barely feed three mouths, how can we feed four? And we have no room!" But all you heard was, "No fun allowed, you aren't allowed to be happy."

"I'll take care of it, and I'll clean everything and feed them, and water them, and I'll use my moneyyy", you whined.

"Stop whining", he mutters. "Or I'll give you something to whine about."

"Pleaseeee", you grab ahold of his arm and shake him back and forth, risking him dropping his cereal.

"Baby, let go! I'm gonna spill all over the carpet and Wayne's gonna get pissed!"

"Hmph!" You let go and turn your back to him.

You sigh and slug over to the couch, flopping on to it. Eddie sits down on the floor and begins to feed you his cereal. As you're sulking, the door opens.

"Wayne!"

"Oh God", Eddie shakes his head.

"Wayne, can I get a pet, pleasseee. I'll do everything myself! I'll use my own money!"

Wayne walks into the kitchen as you plead your case.

"No, tell them that there's already too many people in this trailer", Eddie's voice is muffled by his moutful of cereal.

"Uh, a doggie or kitty isn't a person, Eds, duh."

"Listen, I don't care, long as it doesn't piss on the floor, rummage through the fridge, or get up to any debauchery", Wayne comes back out of the kitchen holding a mug of coffee. "Got enough of that here already."

"Really?", you gasp. Wayne nods and scoots you over so he can sit. The moment of silence is broken by your shrill screech, "EEEE!!! Thank you!!"

Both men brace themselves as you leave to yours and Eddie's room. In a couple of minutes you emerge wearing your shoes and coat.

"Where you goin'?", Eddie asks.

"Going to go get my pet."

"Now?"

"Yes, I want to have them here as soon as possible", you say determined.

"What're you gonna get?"

"Hmm, not sure. I'll see when I get there and see what speaks to me." You open the door and step out.

"Just get one!"

"No spiders!"

You arrive back home with your new friend and all of their equipment. You weren't sure what to get when you were at the store. Everything was so cute and fluffy and you wanted all of them.

You picked a little black teddy bear hamster because, "It's like my Teddy Bear."

Both men are gone and you cheer internally. Now you can have everything set up for them to be surprised.

You spend the afternoon building the hamster's cage. Your cage is a glass and wood one with wheels. You set up the inside with the goodies you bought.

A large exercise wheel, tunnels, chew toys, a sand bath, water bottle, etc. You place your friend in the cage, pressing your face against the glass.

"Do you like it, buddy?"

The hamster sniffs the air, looking around. It's tiny body moves up and down fast as it breathes.

After half an hour you hear the rattle of Eddie's van pull up.

He chuckles, "It's just an animal, not a baby." He pauses. "Right? You didn't go steal a baby?"

"Nope! But you're still a new father!" You take his hand and drag him inside. "Taadaa!"

You gesture to the hamster cage. He turns his head and raises a brow.

"What is it?"

"A hamster!" Eddie looks at your happy face, his heart softening. He leans down and peppers your face in kisses. "Come on, come look!"

You kneel down on the floor, him doing the same. You point at the little black ball of fur. The hamster is sleeping, curled up in a corner.

"Awh, he's a cute one, baby." You nod. "He got a name?"

"Not yet, I've been thinking all day." You set your head on his shoulder.

As you two watch the hamster, another vehicle pulls up. Wayne notices that you're home and as he opens the door, he braces himself to be tackled by whatever fur-devil you brought home.

"Hi, Wayne!"

"Where's your lil pet?"

You point to where the hamster is sleeping.

"You got a rat?"

"Noooo, a hamster." Eddie pulls you on to his lap so Wayne can get a look inside the cage.

"Where is it?" You point again. "Cute. Got a name?" You shrug.

"By the way, how'd you get this thing in here?", Eddie asks.

"Through the door", you tease.

"You little shit", Eddie nuzzles his face into your neck.

"I had to build the cage, it came in a big box."

"You built this?"

"Mhm."

"Why's it gotta be so big?", Wayne asks.

"So he won't get bored."

"Bored? He's just a hamster. Don't they spin on those things?"

"Yeah, but he'll want more to do. I want him to have the best life while he's here. Plus, wouldn't you get tired of running in circles?"

"I 'spose so, but they got little brains, they don't know."

"So does Eddie, but we still keep him entertained", you giggle and Wayne chuckles.

"Hey!", Eddie gives a strong pat to your bottom. You giggle and kiss his nose.

"So, a name?"

"Uhh..."

"Whiskers?", Wayne suggests.

"Hams Solo", Eddie chuckles.

"Sir Hamilton Munson the Second."

Both men look at you quizzically.

"Who's the first?", Eddie asks. You shurg.

Sir Hamilton wakes up, yawning. The three of you spend the evening watching the hamster run around doing it's hamster activities.

Quick Headcanons:

Eddie definitely sits next to the cage and announces, "Hey, my favorite show is on!", when Sir Hamilton is awake.

He was a little scared of holding the hamster. Half because he didn't want to hurt the poor creature, half because he didn't want to be bitten.

He helps you decorate the outside of cage for different holidays -- cobwebs and spooky stickers for Halloween, tinsel, lights and a little stocking for Christmas, hand turkeys for Thanksgiving, etc.

He tries to be a little quieter when Sir Hamilton is sleeping.

Feeds him carrots and his treats happily

Says, "I gotta get home to my son" when leaving get-togethers with his friends

Wrote Sir Hamilton into one of his campaigns

"He deserves to be included"

Delivers light kisses to Sir Hamilton when he holds him

Minho parked the car, and a valet welcomed the two of you, taking your bags and showing you to the reception.

After checking in, you found out you were going to stay in an elegant, all-white baroque style giant room with a balcony. It was royal looking, but what stood out the most were not the intricate details on the walls, nor the beautiful golden mirror, but the big, king-size bed you were going to be sharing with Minho for almost two weeks.

You couldn't wait to finally sleep next to him.

"Let's get lunch!" He exclaimed and grabbed your hand. It felt nice to hold his hand, and you noticed the golden ring on his finger once again, which made you smile.

You had a wonderful time eating in the garden, then walked along the beach with your feet in the water. It was already July, so the water was warm, and the sun was pleasant on your skin.

You spent the rest of the day lazing around, then went to the gym with Minho for some quick cardio. You weren't really up for intense workouts, but enjoyed watching Minho's back and triceps as he did his usual work-out routine.

After taking a shower and eating dinner, you strolled around the garden, still hand in hand, when you stumbled upon a loud club.

"Shall we go in?" You pointed to it.

it's only wednesday and my week has been awful;;

i sprained the fuck outta my wrist yesterday at work (IDEK HOW THAT'S THE THING) but yeah she is ✨️quite swollen✨️ so i've kept ice on it and i have a brace for it but if it's not better by friday i'll see my doctor about it :/

and on top of that it's Master's week (the only golf tournament that matters in the world, but sports are boring imo) and i work 10 minutes away from it so everyday has been chaotic and i've been so drained when i get home :(( but on the bright side!! my next paycheck is gonna be very nice bc of how many hours i have this week, so it's worth it :))

found out these horrible nutritional drinks that they sell at the pharmacy do in fact have a neutral taste you can buy online, which first of all baffles me that the neutral form is less accessible, seeing as a large cosumer base is people who are undergoeing chemo and react badly to any food, why would you only offer them a strawberry drink with a really strong smell and taste and not a neutral one you can mix with whatever you want yourself (and also our older generations don't know how to buy things online generally)

Anyway reason I was looking into it is because I have had more autism related food repulsion days lately, and lack of nutrition makes my mental health worse, which makes my food repulstion worse,... But the absolutely cheapest store sells these drinks at 21 euro/liter which I obviously can't afford.

There might be a way to get them partially refunded trough a medical referral but the likelyhood that the doctor will know anything about autism is not likely and they'll probably make a referral for a classic eating disorder which I know I don't have, I already went trough a 10 week psychiatric ED program where they didn't know what to do with me bc they don't focus on anything besides bullemia/anorexia.

So I better go straight to a specialist but then I need to find a nutritionist that actually knows about autism so I don't have to waste time (and again tons of money) proving I don't have a classic ED.

The psychologist who's doing my ADHD assesment is also specialised in autism so I'll be best off just asking her for a referral, she treats entire autistic families so she must know some people.

(and if I do go on ADHD meds they often also affect peoples appetite so that should probably be adressed too)
