Name: Copper, of Iacon

Faction: Autobot

Alt Mode: a Metal Box

Equipment: Photon rifle, datapad, jet-pack

Abilities: His alt mode, although seemingly useless at first, serves as a shield to him whenever things get too messy (similarly to a turtle in it’s shell). Hidden in his right thumb is a microphone which he uses to record his interviews. Due to his small size, he’s pretty stealthy and can go unnoticed by bigger mechs.

About: Copper is an aspiring historian and archivist who travels around the galaxy to document and store information about the war and its participants. He’s curious, brave, reckless, and sometimes rather apathetic. Due to his impulsive need to get more information for his writings, he tends to jump into more danger than he can handle. Most bots see him as an annoyance, frequently interfering in battles to interview those fighting - others, however, see him as a very sad and lonely individual who’s trying anything to be at least a bit useful and memorable during this war.

During the narrative, he is also shown to not really understand the meaning of being an Autobot or Decepticon - and that he was an Autobot for the sake of being safer around his own teammates, which isn’t necessarily true because he did suffer a lot of harassment and bullying for his “uselessness” in battle.

Vanquish

Y'all know Vanquish. I don't shut up ever about her.

Here's her tag with more about her. But in short, she's drawn to aggressive, powerful people she's somewhat afraid of who could kill her. She loves to be dominated by men, and loves to dominate women. Is a phreak etc.

With kissing, she usually has to make it something passionate, sexual, or leading to something of the sort. Kissing for kissing sake- intimate, gentle etc is something she gotta learn up to. You can kiss her with her as Voss' mate or not, or in any AU, including my cyberpunk AU.

Tuj'da

Tuj is a very old (not Voss old, about a thousand) Kith'rak, with an ancient dragon called Heathcliff. He's one of Voss' close friends in his rebel circles and is...an odd lad. Has a straight up ghaik fetish (and now a darling ghaik lover called Claarillil). He laughs a lot, cries a lot, cracks stupid jokes, writes interspecies romance novels, wears sock and sandals, swears like a sailor, has dance moves that'll make you wet.

Tuj loves romance and violence. Being wooed and being carried, or carrying someone, princess style through a pile of blood and bodies, reciting his favourite love poem to you through a teethful of death.

Kissing Tuj will be in an AU or time period in his main AU where he's not with Claarillil, unless you want to throw an istik at him in a raider scenario (bites lip).

Azz'ava

Azzie is a Ch'r'ai (Inquisitor) older than Tuj. Deadly loyal to Vlaakith, very tall, very beautiful. Pale bluey white skin with whie hair. The chime of her ears are infamous amongst the githyanki- a song of her impending doom.

She's a very rigid person. Curt. Used to being obeyed absolute. Loves being worshipped. Expects it. Tuj is one of the very few people who ever managed to soften her edges, to hear a genuine laugh. Is very hard on herself in nearly every aspect of her existence, and projects that on everyone else.

A gish. A storm sorcerer that's learned to marry her psionics and storm magic together to devastating, and pin precision beauty.

Is dead in Van's AU (which is everyone's main AU) but can exist in whatever form for kissing ofc :3 including cyberpunk AU.

Nezarr

Van's previous master. I struggle to draw him every single time I try, but the way I made him as Van's guardian is pretty close. He's meant to look like just...a guy. A charming, welcoming, pretty faced boy who you feel kind comfortable around and are easily won over by smiles and words.

What does he actually do? He's a cult/guild leader in a far away city from BG. They basically run the city and have done for centuries. Over the past long while they've turned very sinister tho.

He's got like 40 charisma or something befitting of some GOO inhabiting his body trying to get what it wants and whatever.

Anyway he likes pretty things, clever things, powerful things, getting what he wants, then destroying them, or moulding them into exactly what he wants.

He'd definitely kiss you gentle, loving. Each touch an end of the web you have no idea he's weaving to trap you, stuck.

I've been drawing some evolutions for a while now and decided to share them I hope you like my characters!

So this is Copper she was originally going to be a little one-off drawing, I was just like "I should draw an Eevee from memory today" and that's how she came to be. She's an energetic kid and wants to be a good battler just like her mom.

[also all of the characters don't have stats or natures or anything like that yet at least if I do come up with something like that I might put it in a separate post. I'd also like to hear your opinions because I'm not very knowledgeable on that stuff]

This is Copper's mom Stella! She's a bit hard on Copper but she means well. She's actually a descendant of the Espeon in red's team. She's stoic and serious the majority of the time.

This is Wave, Copper's dad! He's a more go with the flow type of guy he's extremely chill Copper actually gets most of her traits from him even though she lives with her mom the most. (they're not divorced or anything they just have different trainers) he's kinda like bandit from bluey.

This is Spark. Copper's uncle, Wave's brother. He's the oldest out of the three so that means that he worries and panics the most. He doesn't have any animosity or resentment to his siblings he just grew up with the mentality that he always had to be the "protector, the leader, the one in charge"

This is Ruby. Copper's aunt She's the second oldest and actually decided to be in the show biz, despite what happened to her parents. She was actually the first of the three siblings to get a trainer and it's kinda strained her relationship with her siblings. She rarely talks to them anymore, they still care about each other of course but it was such a weird feeling. Despite the horrible thing that happened to their parents why would she want to pursue that career?

And so that concludes my showcase of my Pokemon OCs! They were really fun to work on and I can't wait to make more stuff for them in the future.

I definitely post about 99% Quinny related things, yes! c: But I'm glad to hear you enjoy my content. It's been nice getting back into writing, and everyone's response has been beyond my expectations, so I thank everyone for that. 🩷

I must confess that I don't read fics, I just write them. I've been doing this silly stuff for nearly eighteen years now, and I've just always just been a writer. I don't know why, but that's just how it's been!

I know the assistant one you're talking about (I've seen it come across my feed), and I'm not really a fan of copying a very author specific theme. Doing first dates, reader reactions to him being hurt, ect., or common/general themes, of course are fine because they're "common". Quinn having an assistant (to me) isn't something I'd have come up with, so I'm not comfortable using that idea or doing my own spin on it. If that makes sense.

Him catching feelings for someone in the media industry is such a wider net to cast, making me feel like I wouldn't be stepping on toes if I released something.

However, the secret relationship or speculated famous girlfriend one that I think I could do for you. I just need some time to brainstorm it.

I've some big works coming out soon: a couple of series debut and a second chapter to my OC lovechild that are taking more time than anticipated!

If you're willing to be patient, I'm sure I could put something together with that theme in mind. I like trying things that test me and force me out of my comfort zone, and I think that idea is just that.

Ah. Lord, NGE. The vagueness of its worldbuilding, the psychological aspects, the occult and religious simbology, and the GODDAMN MUSIC. If you like classical, epic and otherwordly music, I beg you to check out NGE's score even if you're not interested in the anime itself because Shiro Sagisu is a gift from the gods and one of the best composers of our time. The series is a masterpiece. People despise the movies but IMO they do exactly what a movie should do: entertain. Anno embraced the "I'll be cringe, but I'll be free" and went all out on them, as he should have. Also, there's Kaworu Nagisa. Look at him!

Steins;Gate

PLEASE. PLEASE DO AND DON'T DO THIS TO YOURSELF AT THE SAME TIME. I WAS NOT READY. This anime will take your heart, embrace it, warm it up, GRIP IT IN ITS HANDS, CHEW IT AND SPIT IT OUT. Admittedly I played the VN because I wanted to experience all endings and OH MY GOD. It's terrifying and emotionally damaging. I started playing the sequel (Steins;Gate 0) and I had to STOP because it's so gut-wrenching in all the good ways that I need to be in the right spot for it.

Bleach

talk about recent experiences. I live under a rock when it comes to popular anime most times, and I never had the occasion to watch Bleach until recently (still haven't technically finished it because I'm waiting for TYBW to finish releasing to watch it). I... don't know what it is about Bleach that I like so much, but it got me in a similar way to KHR, as in I think about it often against my will and I'm even considering creating an OC for it. I think it's the characters, because the story is pretty straightforward... yeah, yeah it's the fictional men again. Kubo makes handsome men who fight with swords and transformation and everyone has their own powerups and...hhhngh. Look at this batch of cookies.

Dr. Stone

I'm not a science brain, totally the opposite. Math doesn't math, geometry is evil and chemistry is wizardry. BUT, I love things that TRY to teach me those things in a funny and accessible way. I still won't understand them, but it was fun trying! And Dr. Stone has that, it's the moment I realize I like it when things are explained to me in that way, especially through media. Plus, fun characters, emotional moments, and cool plot.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn

Fortunately or unfortunately depending on your opinion on the show, KHR was the first ever japanese piece of media (excluding videogames) I've ever consumed. Being a lonely and socially awkward human being, it soon became my personality. It was these fuckers who made me get into manga altogether, I started buying the volumes (but only up to Varia Arc because 1. I didn't have an allowance, everything was done with Christmas/Easter/birthday money and 2. I was so obsessed with the Varia that my goldfish brain lost interest mid Future Arc.) and from there I discovered the pleasure of physical copies. The show has never aired in Italy, so nobody knew what the fuck I was talking about. It was, as many others were for me, a very lonely experience. But it was also the first time I felt... unique? Like, "this is my special little treasure and nobody can take it from me" kinda thing. I was emotionally invested in this show and every small piece of merch I could find like my Varia character songs CD became some of my most prized possessions (UNTIL I STARTED GIFTING AWAY MY SET OF VONGOLA RINGS BECAUSE I WANTED TO BRIBE PEOPLE INTO LIKING THE SHOW) (YEAH THAT WAS. STUPID. BECAUSE IT OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T WORK. AND ONLY MADE ME FEEL MORE LONELY AND RINGLESS) Then, the falling off. I started playing an MMO that also shaped part of my personality and as you often do with things that remind you of lonelier times, I sold my volumes and stopped thinking of KHR... until recently, when I joined this fandom and the spark came back because fuck it I'll be cringe but I'll be free. I got my fair share of flack for hyperfixating on an old anime at 24 years old, but it's one of the best experiences I've ever had. So yeah. KHR was ultimately good for me.

I'm 100% continuing with it- I'm so sorry to have sort of.... yapped on about it for ages and then given you nothing. No excuse, really.

In terms of how it's going to work, I think it's safe to say... it definitely gets weird.

Bit of the supernatural, bit of... made up history (though that's a given with uncharted fics, i fear lol). I'm really excited to share it, but I'm not totally happy with it yet, so am waiting to have a few chapters finished at once so I'm certain it all ties together.

And whew - is it slow burn?? I'd say... medium burn. I'd also say, it's certainly not going to be a straightforward progression in terms of Sam & Reader's relationship. Hope it'll make sense when I get my shit together and give you some content looool. I'm also still in two minds regarding making an OC placeholder (purely bc it'd be nice to do descriptions from time to time), or leaving it as an unnamed reader, (which is a fun challenge and hopefully inclusive!) so lmk if you've got thoughts on that haha (help).

I've been working on these two guys since yesterday, and I am having the most fun I ever had in a while.

Both of them are highly inspired by Yaelokre's aesthetic, "Wolf" also having some inspiration from Vessel, Sleep Token's singer.

They don't have name yet (just referencing to them as Lamb & Wolf for now), nor story, but I do have few things settled down.

Feel free to keep reading if you want to see me ramble about OCs that are not even fully fleshed out yet.

I mostly have design drafts in my sketchbook. Most of them of Lamb because he was the first one I came up with, along with one digital draft for their colors.

The main idea was to keep them simple so I could eventually cosplay them someday for funsies, but alas, brain is screaming to me to make them more detailed, so I will have to revise their design.

Wolf's first draft was on digital, and I hate it so bad. I did it at 1 a.m after playing for few hours online with friends, my brain was just NOT there.

I hate the colors, I hate the clothes, I hate everything. I actually had their design idea BEFORE Lamb. It was supposed to go in a complete different direction and be a lot more based of Vessel. So I just, did a 180° turn and completely changed the direction of what I wanted to do with them, which kind of lost me in the process of designing them, I didn't even know what kind of aesthetic I wanted to go for with them kjhjkkj.

But I picked up my sketchbook, and managed to pull something that I like a lot more.

As I mentioned, I do not have a set up story for them, but they are basically the whole "appearance can be deceiving" trope.

In short, I just want people to sit in front of them, and wonder who's the real monster. Is it the clearly not human one who looks like they could rip you appart, or the one with the sweet smile & innocent demeanor? Who knows?...

I wanna work more on them, but I am running out of steam since I've been working on them for like... Almost a full day?? So will take a break, probably gather some more references, make moodboard and color palette. Because even tho I have kind of solid idea on what colors I want Lamb to be, I have NO idea which colors I'm gonna give to Wolf. Wanted them to be kind of complementary, Lamb blue and Wolf red, but red doesn't look good on Wolf no matter how hard I try so I'm gonna have to do more test on that matter kjhjk.

Anyway, I don't know why I felt the need to do that super ass long post. I feel like people follow me here mostly for Touchstarved content. But I kind of wanted to ramble about something else for once.

I also don't often share my thought process whenever I create OCs from scratch, but I thought it could be interesting??? Porbably not, it's mostly just me rambling heh.

These songs were simultaneously so easy and yet so difficult to pick. Like, I've had such a large selection of songs for Gene and Tazin (some of my longest-existing characters!!!) for a while, so there was a huge pool to pick from... and Tazin's were the top of his playlist, of course, haha. to answer the same question in turn, i tend to use OCs, purely because i see myself in my creation (as you so mentioned !) but also enjoy a customised little backstory ! (and, also, for universes where one is not typically human - my little pony, for example - it makes a bit more sense for me !)

Hi Sarah! And no worries, this took a while to respond to for me bcs I’m at work too lol

But thank you, I love talking about Chae-Yeong so much! So the thing with her is originally I made her for an OC focused rw/by fic I was working on set in Atlas, and I wanted to flesh out that world a little more and some characters there. Mainly James bcs I’m also so in love with him and wanted to give him some more background. Initially she and him were just going to be friends, but over time I was like wait. Romance. And I’ll be honest, she was a little bit of a self insert at that point and when she became a part of the TTRPG storyline I ran in college

But so with rw/by, they’re based on fairy tales, legends, etc. And the big inspirations for Chae-Yeong are the Scarlet Pimpernel and the Paper Ballerina from the fairy tale of the Steadfast Tin Soldier. I do also joke she’s based on Batman and the myth of the ethical billionaire lol

bcs Chae-Yeong’s from a wealthy family, but she’s a bastard in the traditional sense of the world. Her mother had an affair with a family doctor who was a Faunus (basically rw/by minority race that has an animal trait of some kind). She has snake fangs that are retractable, so she’s able to pass as human, and she was basically forced to growing up by her father bcs of the stigma that’d give their family by making it very obvious she was the product of an affair. She grew up doing ballet tho, and ended up going to school to become a Huntress (specialized monster hunter) which is where she met James, they were made partners and put on a team together. Shortly after graduating tho, she was forced to quit being a Huntress by her dad and take over the company after her older brother unexpectedly passed away

Anyway, after that she used her position as an opportunity to try to help uplift people below her. She fights for reforms, pours as much money as she can into community stuff, makes sure her company has a program to help people in need get as much support as possible. But an assortment of different personal losses combined with a lot of anger boiling under the surface and no outlet to get that out with led to her deciding to become a vigilante known as the Scarlet Shepherd (which you may notice is where my name is from). That way she’s able to take more direct action against people in power who are easily able to get away with their crimes, and fulfill some of the stuff she trained to do as a Huntress

Anyway, for her and Helena. The two of them met by chance at a coffee shop. Chae-Yeong thought that Helena was pretty and flirted a little before giving her her number. I do think part of it for Chae-Yeong liked that Helena was also a human passing Faunus (Helena’s got rabbit ears, but they’re lop ones so they mainly blend in with her hair unless you’re really close). It took a while for them to get more serious with each other bcs both of them are very much the type to take their time to get close to someone. I think it was after Chae-Yeong told Helena about her being the Scarlet Shepherd that led to them completely falling for each other

WHAT IS HER EPITHET? SOUNDS COOL, AND DOES IT HAVE ANY MAJOR DRAWBACKS?

(Apologies in advance for how long it takes for me to answer these, creative block is a bitch, tysm for asking abt her though, I can't even express how excited I am to have someone who isn't me or my partner like an oc of mine) Her epithet is soothe, but I'm still working out the details of her major powerset, but I can give you some of her powers and the drawbacks her epithet has (these are subject to tweaks and changes however, and if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear em) :]

She has the ability to heal and soothe the pain from wounds if she can touch it (think the ability lay on hands from d&d). Visually, when she does this, a lavender colored aura surrounds her hands. When someone touches the aura, it emits a sensation close to that of menthol. Drawback to this is that her hands will sometimes go numb with the same menthol-like numbness, but this time hiked up to an uncomfortable degree(kinda like when your arm falls asleep but on steroids). This doesn't happen often, but the more she uses her epithet, the more likely the chance of it happening. It can last from anywhere between a few seconds and a few minutes, and she just kinda has to wait it out. Heat helps the numbness fade faster, so she carries around those snap to heat packs in her pockets just in case.

She has another aura, but this one calms rather than heals. The aura itself is less opaque and more shimmery than its healing counterpart. Still affects the likelihood of the numbness, tho. (This aura is less like lay on hands and more like sanctuary, which is also a dnd ability or Molly's silence bubble). She can shape it and adjust how far it reaches (within limits of about 10 feet). Within the aura, it's been described as feeling like the weight of the world has been taken off your shoulders, even just for a moment. Dalia wouldn't know though, all her powers only work on others.

She also has exactly one summon. It's glowing moth things (that may or may not be inspired by the visuals for Here Comes A Thought from Steven Universe) she can summon a maximum 10 at a time, and they're pretty average size for a moth. When they make contact with someone who's not Dalia, they poof into the same calming aura that she can make, just on a way smaller scale. There's two problems that come with them, though. One, she can't unsummon them once they're summoned, she has to wait for them to poof on their own. And two, sometimes when she's nervous or stressed, they just kinda appear. She's not consciously summoning them, but they are her newest power, so she has trouble controlling them and making sure she doesn't summon them on accident.

I'll probably go more in-depth about it later, but that's the basic run-down of it. (Also, sorry for any typos or logical inconsistencies, I blame it on the fact that a lot of the writing for this was done at ungodly hours of the night lmao)

2) Who's your OCs best friend? How did they become best friends?

Theodora: Theo's best friend is her childhood friend Phy! Phy is a Bosmer/Altmer archer and thief. After her father passed Theo moved in with Phy and her mother in Northern Valenwood. They eventually move to the Imperial City and she joins Theo a few months after the events of Helgen. They became best friends because Theo's father used to commission Phy's mother for leather (she's an excellent hunter and craftsmen) . Theo kept begging her father to take her on one of his trips to Valenwood and he finally agreed when she was 11 and as soon as they said hi they were fast friends, in only the way 11 year old girls can be <3 They were born 1 week apart and refer to their birthdays as "our birthday is coming up" (this is a nod to me and my bestie <3)

Rochelle: She struggled a lot growing up and not having many friends. First half of her life her and her sister Colette (they had Reachmen names during this time but this keeps it less confusing) lived with their mother in the Reach. Then they were sent to live with their father at his estate in High Rock. In both places Rochelle struggles to make friends, she's shy and doesn't really understand social signals. So for a while her closest friend is Colette, who she's also jealous of being everyone's favourite. Her time at the CoW is reletively short so no time to get invested in anyone, she did get along with Brelyna tho <3 Though he would scoff at such notions, she considers Neloth to be the closest thing to a best friend, he encourages her research and that's all she really wants :)

Ondolemar (Eve's version): So I have a few thought son this. My version of him is that before joining the Thalmor he was studying the Dwemer and had a love of history. So I think he would get along well with Calcelmo and Aicanter, enjoying having dicusses and learning about their research. It'd be bittersweet as he'd look and them and think "this is likely what I'd be doing if I stuck to the path I was on" I won't get into my hcs of why/how he joined the Thalmor but if you're curious feel free to ask it's kind of an essay haha. I also think he'd be of course friendly with his guards, who I've named Cisephona (made her his cousin for fun!) and Ganlian. But he's in an authority role to them so it's difficult to have an organic friendship with your boss haha. Not long after they start seeing each other he would consider Theo a friend, sort of his cop out of admitting he has feeling for her, "I have feelings for her and that feeling is friendship" :P But they do grow to be friends and lovers.

8) What hobbies does your OC have? What do they do to unwind?

Theodora: She likes dancing and drinking, big on socializing which goes from heavy unhealthy partying to hosting large gatherings as she gets older. She also enjoys swimming as well as alchemy and herbal medicine sleeping with Ondolemar

Rochelle: She likes to read, that's her favourite thing in the world, gaining knowledge. She unwinds by mediating, something her mother taught her as a Reachmen wise woman.

Ondolemar (Eve's version): He also enjoys reading, particularly history books. He likes to unwind alone with a glass of wine and a dense historical account. And of course he does a fair bit of unwinding with Theo haha

10) How does your OC handle their mental health? Do they take care of themselves?

Theodora: She does not handle it <3 She opts to distract herself, something that started when she moved to the Imperial City looking to cope with the loss of her father and uncle. Distracting include dangerous men, fighting in the arena, and lots of drinking. In take years but she does get to a more stable place and just talks about her feelings when she's feeling them with people she loves. Oddly enough, when she unexpectedly gets pregnant this helps a lot! She's gotta take care of herself to take care of the future baby so she gets 9 months to build better habits.

Rochelle: She bottles things up and pushes them way down until there's too much and she blows up. She has trouble communicating and opening up due to often feeling misunderstood.

Ondolemar (Eve's version): My hcs for him involve him having the need to prove himself worthy in the eyes of the Dominion. And not feeling worthy and some of the treatment he's received hurts him but he believes that they are correct in their assessment. So he tends to rationalize his feelings instead of feeling them. As he grows as a person he ends up confessing a lot of negative experiences of his life and how they've directly impacted him and how he views himself. This also directly ties into my hcs about why he joined the Thalmor.

23) Is your OC reliable? Can I call them up at two in the morning if I have a flat tire?

Rochelle: Unless you're Colette, Neloth, or Talvas (most of time anyways) no. She'd rather be alone with her books and making tea.

Ondolemar (Eve's version): Being in the military for so long has instilled reliability in him. You have to be reliable because others are counting on you, gotta get those reports to Elenwen on time! And he does stick his neck out for his gaurds and Theo when they need him, doing so first and asking questions later.
